We had our wedding at the Gardens of Woodstock on 9/15/23, and I can't even begin to describe how amazingly perfect this venue was for our big day! If you are looking for an all in one venue space with absolutely everything to offer, this is it! From the beautiful ceremony space that will require little to no decorations of your own, to the cocktail hour space where guests can enjoy themselves both inside and outside, and finally to the spacious reception tent that you can make your own, this place has it all. And not to mention the gorgeous landscaped area with trees, a pond, and bridges that provide the perfect backdrop for pictures and an additional space for your guests to roam. From the beginning, Mike was friendly and so easy to work with answering all of our questions quickly and was accommodating to the details we wanted to make the day and space our own. The venue uses one designated caterer, Noteable Event Productions, which provides any type of food option you wish to have. We ended up doing three stations which had all the types and variety of food you can imagine. I can't even begin to count how many of our guests told us how absolutely amazing the venue and food were! My only disappointment was that I wished the hours from the start of the ceremony to the end of the reception were longer so we could soak more of the day in! And brides, please note that the bridal suite does not open until 10am, so if you have a larger bridal party and want pictures done before the ceremony you will have to do hair and makeup at a different space since there will not be enough time. Thank you so much again to Mike and the Gardens of Woodstock for making our wedding day one to remember between both us and all our guests!

The Gardens are SO beautiful! We had an October wedding and the leaves were so bright and colorful, it was really magical. And the owner, Mike, is awesome to work with. He’s very flexible and accommodating and the nicest guy. I’d highly recommend this venue to anyone who wants a stunning outdoor wedding.

This was our dream wedding venue! We went to check it out shortly after becoming engaged and knew right away this was the perfect place for our special day! There truly is no other venue like it. We received so many compliments from our guests on how gorgeous it was here. Amazing photo taking spots, nicely spread out and has everything you need in one place. Mike was also great to work with. He is very responsive, communicative and helpful! You can tell he is passionate about The gardens of Woodstock and making sure the grounds are always looking beautiful. He will also help make sure your day goes smooth. The catering company that works with the gardens is also amazing and easy to work with! We received lots of compliments on how good the food was from our guests. We could not recommend this venue more. If you love an outdoor ceremony with nature inspired photos this is your venue.

We had our wedding in August at The Gardens of Woodstock. From the initial meeting and tour with Mike we were excited to choose this venue. The grounds are beautiful and it's an \"all in one\" space. Communication was excellent throughout planning and we received so many helpful tips. The recommended caterer was excellent and our guests loved the food. The cocktail space works so well, with both indoor and outdoor areas (so no worries if the weather didn't cooperate). The bridal getting ready rooms were spacious and comfortable. We had a wonderful experience and highly recommend The Gardens of Woodstock. A hidden gem!

The most beautiful venue imaginable, our guests raved about how beautiful it was. Mike was wonderful to work with, the day was absolutely perfect! Everything we wanted and more. The gorgeous ceremony space, cocktail room, and reception made it so nice for our guests to move around the grounds freely and not have to travel to separate places. I would recommend Gardens to everyone looking for the most beautiful outdoor wedding!

If I could give 20 stars I would. Words cannot express how absolutely beautiful The Gardens Of Woodstock is. My husband and I had our wedding here and it was everything I ever imagined it would be. It was the only venue we toured as we fell in love with it as soon as we got there. We had a small wedding, about 55 people, so this venue is perfect whether you are having a smaller wedding or bigger wedding as it accommodates both! Mike was SO attentive leading up to and on our wedding day. Any questions or changes we had he had such a quick response and made sure everything was taken care of! He was incredibly kind and the staff were that way as well! We had so many compliments about the venue, as there are so many features about it that make it amazing. I'm so glad we had our wedding here and would recommend this venue to anyone!

We recently had our wedding there and the Gardens was such a beautiful to have it. Everyone was amazed at how beautiful it was and how there were so many places to take pictures during cocktail hour and the reception. The food was amazing, everyone enjoyed both the cocktail hour and dinner options. I would recommend the Gardens of Woodstock to anyone and everyone.

We were thrilled to have the Gardens of Woodstock as our venue for our special day! Many people (including ourselves) described our wedding as a fairytale and that is truly what it felt like. This venue has so much natural beauty you hardly have to do anything in terms of decorations which was exactly what we were looking for! Mike was fantastic and answered any and all questions we had and was so prompt with responding to us. Our guests could also not stop raving about the amazing food from their caterer! We highly recommend the Gardens of Woodstock!

We couldn’t say better things about the Gardens of Woodstock. The venue is absolutely gorgeous!! We had our wedding in July. The garden was blooming and ended up being the most perfect day. Mike was so helpful throughout the entire process. He answered all my questions, responded in a timely manner and made it so easy to work with. Our guests loved the venue and the food was so delicious! We had the best day and I highly recommend checking out the Gardens of Woodstock.

My husband and I were recommended to check out the Gardens by a family member and we are so glad we did! We choose this location for our wedding and it was everything and more. We got married at the end of June and it was very very hot! Luckily, the venue tent and main building are air-conditioned. No one complained when it was in the 90s! The grounds looked so beautiful on wedding day and great for photos. Mike was wonderful and responsive. My bridesmaids and I enjoyed the bridal suite and guests loved the outdoor seating and fire pits. I would highly recommend checking them out!

The Gardens of Woodstock is such a unique and beautiful wedding venue. Our wedding was everything that we dreamed of: a classy boho garden ceremony, a unique cocktail hour where guests were able to walk the paths and enjoy the gardens with their drinks, and a beyond gorgeous reception in their tent! Mike was so easy to work with at The Gardens. Throughout our entire year that we had to plan our wedding, Mike was ALWAYS available to call or email questions (even in the \"off\" season), and he always responded quickly. Mike is so friendly, personable, and professional. The Gardens of Woodstock and Mike helped to make our wedding the best day of our lives.

The Gardens of Woodstock is a stunning location to have your wedding, it’s a hidden gem. The photos from my event are gorgeous, the ponds/waterfalls, the gazebo, the flowers, the lighting at night…. All amazing. Given the option, I would do it all over again. Some of the things I wished could have been different/better are: Since they are somewhat open to the public/sell flowers there, there is always a chance people will be walking around during the day as you are setting up. We had a few rando’s stop by during our setup time. And there is no place to lock anything up, so you are keeping valuables with someone in your party at all times. It was great that they opened at 10am for us to begin setting up tables/decorations. There was enough time to run back home if we needed to. They require you to use their caterer, Noteable Events, whose food was amazing- our guests gave us sooo many compliments on the food! However, we had a buffet, and the food was whisked away pretty quickly once everyone went up to eat. The dessert table was also “out”/done quite early. We had 9 people that we paid for who couldn’t make it, so it’s not like we were short on our guest headcount/food allotment. I wish I had known this at the event, I would have made them put more food back out. I wanted some chocolate covered strawberries for a guest and was able to ask for some of them and get them… so clearly there was more food stored away. (I found out later that my bridesmaid asked for more dessert and was told there was no more). You are also required to do open bar (there is no option for cash bar) so this adds to the expense. You are also required to bring your own bottled water for guests! At over $20 a person for the open bar, I would have thought they could provide bottled water. That was a little much- dragging cases of water to the location, on top of everything else that day. The last thing you should be aware of is the rehearsal timing. You get a 1 hour rehearsal window. This was a little tight for us, and we had a small wedding party/low fanfare type of wedding. There was a party before us that was wrapping up, and we had to finish up on time to get out of the next party’s way. Overall, the day went very smoothly, the event was excellent, the food was amazing, Mike is a great help and quick to respond to planning and questions. The bridal suite/preparation rooms were great- big rooms, lots of mirrors and tables, nice and cool AC running. The tent is also temperature controlled. There are beautiful fire pits outside too. The pricing was reasonable compared to other options we considered. I would choose the Gardens again in a heartbeat. It’s just there are some things you need to know going into it.

All of my guest commented on how beautiful everything was! Mike was amazing to work with and easy to communicate with! Will forever recommend The Gardens of Woodstock for a wedding venue!

Not only did we absolutely love the beauty of the ceremonial area and gardens for photos, but the fact that it’s such a private venue. It provides such an intimate and loving experience for guests, party, and the couple. Mike and team did an amazing job helping us not only getting prepped for the day, but being our day of coordinators as well. We can’t say enough great things about the gardens!

Rebecca and I were eager to find a wedding venue that would allow for an intimate, personalized ceremony and reception with some sort of connection to nature. The Gardens of Woodstock exceeded our expectations in every category. The outdoor courtyard was a perfect place for us to have our ceremony, enabling all in attendance to hear our vows. There was ample room indoors for Rebecca to get dressed and have our “First Look” photographed. The gorgeously designed trails were a sublime place for wedding photographs to take place (we especially love the picture of us kissing on a bridge overlooking a creek). The catered dinner and dessert stations were absolutely delicious, and the tent where our reception occurred was a joyous setting in every sense. Though this is a deservedly popular venue, it felt like our own “secret garden,” and we could not have asked for a lovelier spot to spend the happiest day of our lives.

This was the first and only venue we looked at when planning our wedding. It was love at first sight. The grounds were absolutely gorgeous and the perfect size for what we wanted in an outdoor venue. The space had such a unique flow for our guests to enjoy throughout the night. Mike was especially helpful through the whole process and was very prompt and professional whenever we had any questions or needed to make changes. It truly allowed for a customizable wedding for us. The catering this venue works with was phenomenal! This isn't your run of the mill wedding food. My guests could not stop talking about how great the food was and how breathtaking the venue was. At night everything is lit up and there are bonfire tables outside of the tent which was a huge hit. I cannot say enough good things about this venue.

What can I say? The Gardens of Woodstock was the perfect venue for my daughter’s wedding reception. Since my daughter had been living overseas, the day of her reception was the first time she experienced the venue, and I must say, she was amazed and over-the-top pleased! The grounds are exceptionally beautiful – you really have to see the extensive water features and plant life to believe it – and Mike and the staff were helpful and accommodating. In fact, we had to postpone the event twice, and Mike was more than willing to work with us. He was understanding and remained supportive and pleasant. After visiting many potential venues, my husband and I quickly determined that The Gardens of Woodstock was second to none, and we highly recommend the location.

This venue is absolutely gorgeous. It's slightly out of of the way of a major highway but had the secluded oasis feel we wanted. Mike B was our contact person and he was super on top of everything. If I emailed him a question, he always got back to me that same day. He made choosing this place easy and we didn't feel pressured to sign with him straight away. He also had 2 contingency plans for rain since of course it was supposed to storm, but luckily it held off. All in all it was stunning and all the guests were raving about how beautiful it was and that they were happy to walk around the gardens.

The most beautiful venue in the northwest suburbs!! Our wedding in July was absolutely gorgeous! Every inch of the venue is beautiful from the ceremony space to cocktail hour, the reception tent and the gardens themselves. Having the gardens for guests to walk through was great and it's the best space for photos, especially after sunset when it's all lit up! Mike and his team did an amazing job and were so helpful throughout the entire process!

Our wedding at the Gardens 07.17.21 was perfect. We visited the venue at the very beginning of March 2020 before the world shut down. Even with snow on the ground and no leaves/greenery I could tell this place was a beautiful. The Garden's natural beauty is its own decor and helped us save money on additional decorations. All of the staff was friendly and made us feel special.Our guests loved the venue as well and enjoyed taking pictures through out the garden. I cannot wait to see my professional photos from the day.Mike was a pleasure to work with. He usually responded to all questions within 24 hours (even during the craziness that was 2020-2021). The rules, information, pricing and expectations were clear. I would suggest the Gardens of Woodstock to anyone looking for a beautiful outdoor venue.

We are so grateful we chose Gardens of Woodstock for our wedding venue. It is a truly spectacular place! Mike was so easy to work with (especially in the craziness of needing to postpone a wedding due to Covid) and his organization and communication was so appreciated. The Gardens is incredibly beautiful. We loved having an outdoor ceremony, the indoor bar area and the gorgeous tent for our guests. We had such a fun celebration from start to finish. This is a venue unlike any other and I can't tell you how many compliments we got on hosting a wedding at such a gorgeous and unique place. We will forever have a special place in our hearts for the Gardens!

I made an appointment to tour the venue and spoke with a coordinator over messages. We drove out an hour to see this location, no one met with us, garden workers asked why we were here then ignored us. We walked around the property on our own and decided it was smelly and distasteful, although the garden area was beautiful. Would not recommend for the unprofessional service.

The Gardens of Woodstock is the perfect wedding venue for a couple looking for a beautiful, low-key, fun location. Our guests had an amazing time at the reception with fire tables and the beautiful gardens to explore. The ceremony was flawless, with garden flowers naturally decorating the patio. The catering company was delightful, and we received so many compliments on the food! We had a severe chance of rain on our wedding day, but Mike (the owner) and Kristen (Day of Coordinator- EverLasting Impressions) did everything they could to stay positive and do everything in their power to make our outdoor ceremony happen! Loved this venue, loved our perfect day in the Gardens. Highly recommend!!

I cannot say enough good things about The Gardens of Woodstock! My husband and I were originally supposed to have our wedding reception here following a church ceremony in May of 2020, but COVID happened and we all know how that went. My husband and I decided to get married on our original wedding date anyway and The Gardens of Woodstock made that possible. The church we were supposed to get married at would not allow us to have our ceremony there, but Mike at The Gardens stepped up and told me if we postponed our reception with them, they would allow us to use there ceremony area for free, which normally would cost $300, and they didn't charge us extra for moving the reception date.So we ended up having a small, private wedding ceremony at The Gardens of Woodstock in May of 2020 with a reception at a different location, and then in May of 2021 we had our postponed wedding reception and called it our 1st Anniversary Reception.Mike and the rest of the staff at The Gardens of Woodstock were flexible, helpful, kind and compassionate, and really allowed us to make the most of a pretty crappy situation.Our May 2020 wedding ceremony was absolutely beautiful. The ceremony site is gorgeous with flowers everywhere, a beautiful stage area, room for a good number of guests, and just a lovely atmosphere.Our May 2021 1st Anniversary Reception was stunning as well. We were able to have about 100 guests. The Garden was absolutely gorgeous. The bar was well-stocked and the staff was attentive to the needs of myself, the bridal party, and the guests. The facilities were beautiful, you almost forget you're in a tent. The bridal suite inside the building is a huge asset and is clean and well-stocked with anything a bride and her bridesmaids could need.Their caterer, Notable Events, was fantastic too! Ann was so pleasant and easy to work with. The tasting was a great experience, and the food was outstanding! Everything was delicious! And they were so accommodating. We went with buffet style and had the chicken parmigiana with roasted vegetables and mashed potatoes, which by the way are life changing! The caterer was accommodating of our gluten free guests and gave them chicken without breading. They had great kids meals available too!The Gardens was a phenomenal place for photos. We were going for a sort of fairytale theme for our wedding and The Gardens of Woodstock helped us accomplish that. Our photos look like we were in our own fairytale story!The firepits outside the tent add an excellent touch. Our guests had a wonderful time gathering around them and making friendly conversation. We were even able to designate one of the firepits for making s'mores, which was super fun and unique touch to our reception.Our guests had only good things to say and all had a fantastic time. I love that guests had the option of either hanging out in the tent and dancing or getting away from the music to make conversation. It was sweet seeing other couples strolling through The Garden taking romantic walks, especially at night when all the fairy lights were on. There are so many ways for guests to enjoy themselves at The Gardens of Woodstock.Every part of our experience working with The Gardens of Woodstock was excellent from planning our ceremony there last minute, to postponing our reception there, to having the actual reception. This place is a quality venue and worth every penny and more. A true hidden gem.

The Gardens of Woodstock did not disappoint. The venue was absolutely gorgeous. Mike was attentive and very helpful getting in contact with vendors. I mainly used The Knot to plan my wedding in Chicago from 9 hours away. That to say, I, the bride, never got to see my wedding venue in person until the day before our wedding! My husband and his parents took the tour and I trusted them with pictures and videos. When I showed up the day before the wedding, it did not disappoint! I was stunned at how beautiful it was and how nice and helpful everybody was! I couldn’t ask for a better wedding venue! It far exceeded my expectations, and I would 100% do it all again if I could!

I absolutely loved everything about the Gardens of Woodstock. We were supposed to get married April 2020 but then covid hit and Mike was able to work around it. Mike was wonderful and was understanding of the situation and arranged our wedding to a later date with no upcharge like other venues did. We heard so many horror stories of what other venues did to their wedding couples during covid and we are so fortunate that we never had not one issue with our venue. We are so happy we picked them. The venue itself is so beautiful and our guests loved everything about it . We are so happy we picked this magical place for our wedding day .

We got married August 2020 at the Gardens of Woodstock, and it was the -perfect- venue, especially given local and state restrictions. Mike and his team were always welcoming whenever we dropped by to check out the Gardens and helpful as we did our original planning and adapting. The grounds are beautiful, a hidden gem that we drove past for years, and we loved how the reception tent looked with the new chandeliers and string lights. The venue works with one caterer (Noteable Events, 10/10!) which made that decision easy. Pandemic-specific notes: Mike was great to work with to make sure we met CDC guidelines (masks, chair/table spacing, airflow in tent, no-touch surfaces) without making it feel rigid or uninviting. We were also able to connect to their internet to stream our ceremony to friends and family who couldn't make it. Everyone couldn't stop talking about what a magical evening it was--thank you for the picture-perfect memories!

From the moment we stepped foot at the Gardens just over a year ago, we fell in love with the venue. It's one of the most beautiful venues I've ever been to. The grounds are incredibly well kept and they have the most beautiful flowers, plants, stone walkways and endless bursts of color around the venue. The modern rustic touches also add to an incredibly comfortable atmosphere. We knew we wanted to get married there! Working with Mike, the owner, was a pleasure. He was very knowledgeable of any vendor questions we had, and he made it easy for us to plan the perfect day. Everyone at the Gardens made sure to always treat you with incredible kindness. The day of our wedding was no exception. Mike, his team and our vendors did an excellent job making our day the best day of our lives. Having a wedding during a pandemic was no picnic, but we are truly grateful that even with all of the limitations, the Gardens made it the perfect day. Mike was in constant communication with us through every step and we would recommend the Gardens of Woodstock to any Bride and Groom that want to feel like a Princess & a Prince. Honestly, I had no idea it even existed until I found it on google and when I walked in, I knew that it was exactly where I wanted to get married. The grounds are absolutely stunning. Mike is fantastic to work with, super responsive to emails and phone calls. He led me to most of my vendors too, which makes it so much easier to work with people who already know the venue. The staff on the day of my wedding was amazing, all my guests were taken care of and had a fantastic time! If I could do it all over again, I would in a heart beat. HIGHLY recommend this place for your wedding.

So easy and so very accommodating! I had dreams of how this day was going to go and it was better than I could have ever dreamed! Mike was awesome from the very start and he made sure we were informed of all situations if there were any ahead of time so we had time to adapt. If I could give The Gardens of Woodstock 10 stars I absolutely would. Mike has an amazing venue that’s different than any other. From the beautiful outside ceremony area, to the wine like open cocktail area inside, to the hidden reception tent and fire pits, it was absolutely perfect. The Garden area is perfect for all the pictures you and your guests could want! It also makes for a great place for the bride/groom to step away from the reception and have a few minutes alone. I love that you can add different things to the reception tent to truly make it exactly what you are wanting and mix and match to fit your budget. When we booked with Mike it was February and snowy, and I still loved the venue! Every time we went back the garden was fuller and prettier as the season went on. We did our engagement pictures there in late May and they turned out perfectly. The gardens may not be huge but trust me there’s so many places to take unique and different pictures. Mike and his nephew were so helpful with answering any and all questions, and trust me I asked ALOT! Mike was always quick to respond to my emails and gave great recommendations. The companies he partners with for his preferred vendors are fabulous! Especially Kristen (Love her!) who does all the extra lighting, fabric, and hanging things in the tent! We also hired her as our day of coordinator (again Love her!). And the food from Noteable Events, who is the caterer for this venue is great!! People are still talking about the food! We couldn’t be happier after working with Mike and having our big day at The Gardens. Our guests are still talking about it and how it was so different and unique than a typical wedding set up! And so are we!!I could honestly go on and on about how grateful I am that we found Mike and his venue and that he fit into our budget and had a date we liked. I never thought I would get married outside in a garden but once I saw this place in person and met with Mike, there was no turning back! Thank you Mike and everyone at The Gardens of Woodstock for making our wedding day absolutely perfect and for giving us and our guests an experience to remember for forever!!

The Gardens of Woodstock was such a beautiful venue and a joy to work with! The owner, Mike, was friendly and informative, responding to emails promptly and always speaking to my family and I with a smile. We never felt that we asked too many questions or were getting rushed out the door. The Gardens has preferred vendors ( caterer and decorator for the tent) and they were absolutely wonderful! All our guest raved about the food and loved the decor that was placed in the tent. It can be a bit nerve wracking when you have to use a specific vendor but boy was I glad we had them! It takes the searching away and they are truly the best we could ask for. The caterer was easy to work with and the options are truly limitless. They worked with specific dietary restrictions at no extra charge. The tent decor is done by a specific company and there are so many options to truly customize your wedding to match your vision. If you are on a tight budget they will work with you but also the tent decor is honestly just an add on as the tent is beautiful without any extras! I love that they also have to option to hire someone as your wedding planner or just day of director. We chose not to use them but the amount of options they had was reassuring and a great tool had we needed it. Overall The Gardens of Woodstock was the best place I could have picked for my big day and I would recommend to everyone!

I can't rave enough what a breath-taking and beautiful venue this is! First, let me start by saying that my husband and I were probably not the easiest to deal with. We had many requests due to it being a Bosnian-Italian wedding, not to mention that we did a Muslim ceremony on top of all that. In addition, we had 200 guests (which is the capacity) and many alcohol and food requests. In spite of all the complexities, Mike was not only patient and understanding, but surprisingly accommodating. He truly went above and beyond to make sure our day was everything we wanted it to be. THANK YOU MIKE!!BIG shoutout to Kevin, who was just on top of everything, Gina with Notable Events (a true rockstar), and Kristen with Everlasting impressions - who made the tent absolutely breathtaking with the drapes and backdrop. Oh, let me not forget Countryside Flower & Shop - the centerpieces were magnificent.I honestly can't rave enough about this place. If you visit this for a potential wedding venue, JUST BOOK IT! I guarantee you will thank me!

Beautiful. Professional. Accommodating. Perfect. Throw a dart at any of these adjectives or any positive ones in between, and you’ll land somewhere that describes the Gardens and it’s staff. For a week afterwards, my wife and I struggled to come up with ONE flaw from our wedding here - we came up empty. Mike was honest with us and worked unrealistically hard to give us exactly what we wanted. We jokingly started testing the bounds of his cooperation. Cigar bar? Sure! Firework display? Hire a professional, but why not! Short of opening a circus in his reception tent, it seemed like Mike was determined to make us happy and make the day exactly what we wanted. And then there’s the gardens. I can’t imagine the time and labor it takes to keep them so beautiful, but they were perfect. Our guests could leave the reception, and take a quiet stroll through the lit gardens and appreciate a quiet moment to themselves. Save yourself the time and hassle of researching and visiting venues - this is it guys.

Mike and his staff at the Gardens were the best fit we could have imagined for our wedding day. The venue itself is picture perfect from all of the landscape work that goes into it, which was highlighted best during our summer wedding. Mike was very easy to work with throughout the whole process especially since we actually live about 3 hours away. He was very responsive to our emails and was willing to work with us to make sure our event was everything we wanted. The event package includes pretty much everything you would need or want for a wedding for a very reasonable price that won't break your budget. The whole evening of the wedding flew by because of how little we had to worry about due to Mike and his staff doing an exceptional job of working the event. The Gardens of Woodstock was mentioned to us by our DJ who is also a family friend. He told us that if he was going to get married again he would do it at Woodstock gardens. I love that you have entire venue to yourself and guests can wander the grounds as they like. Also, since it is a garden center there are a lot of beautiful flowers and greenery you can use to take pictures. I love how everything is in one place and it is very unique and beautiful. All of our guests raves about our venue. The catering company they work with was also excellent. We did a buffet with around 140 people and it went smoothly. Mike is very helpful and attentive. The bartenders and other staff were also very friendly and helpful. If you want an unforgettable wedding experience I highly recommend the gardens.

The Gardens of Woodstock is an absolutely gorgeous place! It is the perfect venue to get married at. They have a climate controlled reception tent on site so you don't have to travel from the ceremony to the reception. There are so many places around for guests to wander, have a seat and hang out. The grounds are covered with many different plants and flowers, it is absolutely gorgeous. The main thing that drew us in were the waterfalls, they are breathtaking! Mike, the owner, was super nice and accommodating and answered any questions we had. Hja communication was great. He made sure we had the best wedding possible and we couldn't have asked for a better place to get married!!

Mike was super responsive from our first email to our last. We never waited more than 12 hours for a response, even on Sunday when I had a few last minute questions. The venue is stunning during both day and night, and the staff gives up until 1.5 hrs before the ceremony to call if it will be inside or outside. We had no issues creating and having the PERFECT day, and a lot of that was due to Mike and his fabulous team. Lastly, having a Friday wedding it was amazing to set up the day before and we had no issues as to when we could get there and finish cleaning day of as well. I would absolutely recommend this location for a perfect day.

Absolutely Beautiful!It was the first venue we visited, and every other venue we checked out, we compared to the Gardens. We can’t say enough about how gorgeous the venue is – the plants, water features, gazebo, fire pits, patio, cocktail area, and bridal suite are all amazing! It’s a great place for a one-stop-shop wedding because the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception are all within 50 yards of each other and the whole venue flows really well. Another great thing about this place is that on the day of the wedding, you have the whole place to yourself, you’re not sharing any space with any other weddings. Mike was great throughout the entire wedding process and was great about communication – all of our questions, whether they were emails or phone calls, were answered very quickly.During the day of our wedding it rained, but cleared up just in time for the ceremony and our photos turned out stunning! As it got darker, the fire pits were a nice option for our guests and the gardens are all lit up as well. We received so many compliments from our guests about the venue!One thing to consider is that the dance floor was a little undersized given that the venue can hold 225 guests. The dance floor was a little over-crowded the night of our wedding (we had about 165 guests at our wedding, and they were ready to celebrate!). The venue is also pretty secluded (which is really great, there’s nothing else going on for miles around); however, it means that you most likely have to provide transportation for your guests, which is an extra expense you’ll have to budget for.

The Gardens of Woodstock is an absolutely lovely venue to hold a wedding. My husband and I fell in love with The Gardens the first time we stepped out of our car and it only kept getting better from there. From the beautiful setting to the kind owner and staff – our wedding was perfect. Let me tell you, planning a mid-October wedding outside can be a little unsettling given you don’t know if it’ll be 70 and sunny, or 40 and rainy. Of course we wanted an outdoor wedding and we were given ample time the day of to decide if we wanted to go ahead with the outdoor wedding or move it indoors. We kept it outdoors and it was a little cool (but our call), and so beautiful. Mike was so accommodating and was always and email or call away. He has so much patience and he genuinely cared about our day and making it memorable. He even allowed us to bring our furbabies and they joined us for the ceremony and cocktail hour. Everything about the Gardens is extraordinary! The ceremony area, bridal suite, cocktail area and pavilion tent were better than we ever imagined. You always have a picture in your head of how things will go and this place exceeded every vision. We received so many compliments on the venue we choose and how happy all the guests were. You will not be disappointed if you choose The Gardens for your venue, especially if you are looking for an outdoor and rustic type of venue. I wish I could leave more than 5 stars!My husband and I were married here on July 21st 2018 and we cannot stop raving about how perfect our day was. The venue alone is absolutely gorgeous, and Mike and his team were incredible. Mike was very organized and responsive with all of the insane questions and requests I had leading up to the wedding, he helped guide us through our rehearsal, which was a BIG help as we had no idea how those usually go, and our musicians/DJ kept raving to me about how helpful and approachable he was with all of their questions. My husband arrived at the venue for pictures and to get ready the day of our wedding at 1pm, so from then on I had to let go and be hidden away in the bridal suite, and EVERYTHING got done somehow and ran so smoothly.I wanted to give a special shout out to Mike's son, Kevin, who ran the bar during our reception with his wife. All of my guests of course made sure I constantly had a drink in my hand, and Kevin made sure I was staying hydrated and would hunt me down and give me water. Thanks Kevin!! :)

As soon as I walked into the gardens, I knew that this is where I wanted to get married. There is a gorgeous ceremony spot, a garden to walk through (that make for GORGEOUS pictures), and a tent for the reception. We got so many compliments from our guest on how beautiful the venue was, and the guests loved walking through the gardens to take a break from the dancing. The caterer with this venue, Ann, is AMAZING. There are so many food choices, and the food was delicious and fresh! We chose a buffet style, and our guests loved the options and the ease. Mike and his staff are amazing. From the second we signed to our wedding day, he was with us every step of the way and took great care of us. We were able to start setting up for the event at 10 AM (wedding was at 5:15). We accidentally left some personal belongings at the gardens, and Mike boxed it all up for us to come back and get later!I cannot recommend this venue enough. Our wedding was magical, and we have so many beautiful memories at the Gardens. My husband and I are also excited that we can come and get flowers every anniversary from the gardens so we can bring a piece of our day back with us. Truly an amazing experience. I had the wedding I've been dreaming of since I was a little girl.

We hosted my daughters wedding at the Gardens of Woodstock this past June 23rd and it was everything she imagined and more when we booked this venue 2 years ago! The gardens were in full bloom and the flowers smelled as you arrived. It was stunning. The gardens were lit at night with pathways and waterfalls to enjoy. Mike the owner was so kind and responsive throughout the entire process. The venue is sparkling clean and set up with indoor and outdoor options in case of inclement weather which are all beautiful. One thing to note. The venue rental does not include the service charge and tax on top of this cost and also the bar cost which does mark up the price so include that into your budgeting. All in all worth every dime however as there is not another private garden setting this nice in this area. The required caterer was fantastic and the food amazing. Two things our guests commented on was the food, and the beauty of the venue. The catering Captain Gina deserves a shout out as she went above and beyond even assisting the wedding coordinator in set up. We used Everlasting Impressions recommended by Mike at the Gardens and she did a great job, very organized. I will say her assistant not so friendly but they did a good job and very thorough in pre planning help a must have for any wedding in our opinion.We contracted our Felix and Fingers dueling pianos who equally did a fantastic job with the live entertainment and worked well with the whole team, so I would also recommend them!THANKS ALL it was truly a magical day!

What a top notch organization! Mike and his team really delivered on everything we were expecting. From the very beginning Mike helped us through the whole process and gave great advise where we were unsure on what to do. The facility is clean and at night the gardens and property looked amazing with the lights. The food from Notable Events was even better during the wedding than the tasting, which I didn't think was even possible. The bar tenders and wait staff were amazing and went out of there way to make everyone's night. Would not have changed a thing and so glad we chose The Garden's of Woodstock.

Where do I begin? The Gardens of Woodstock were beyond my expectations. I was a very nervous bride and my (now) husband and I planned everything ourselves. I could not have been more pleased with the level of service and courtesy provided by Mike and his staff. They were so helpful and walked me through everything. He even made accommodations so that we could have the exact date we wanted even though his open house was originally planned for that date. The caterer they work with was PHENOMENAL. I to this day am receiving constant compliments on the food and the venue. You could not ask for more breathtaking backdrops for photos. Even our photographer commented on how gorgeous the Gardens were and how it was making her job so much more fun. I truly cannot say enough good things and would 100% reccommend them go any bride looking for her perfect venue. Thanks again for making our day everything we dreamed of!

We first went to go see the venue while it was POURING RAIN and even in this condition, we totally fell in love with the beautiful botanic gardens. We wanted a venue that had its own character and didn't need a ton of decoration, and we felt like the Gardens were a perfect fit. We ended up doing centerpieces and our own backdrop for the head table but nothing else, and it worked out great. Mike (the owner) was really fast at responding to email, which takes off a lot of stress. We were a little worried about being forced into a caterer, but the food turned out fantastic and everyone was raving about it (we had a buffet with chicken francaise and a lemon salmon) and the caterer also worked with us within our budget, which was awesome. One other thing we were worried about was getting set up for the day, since our ceremony was an hour away - but Mike was pretty flexible and allowed us to drop a car off in a back lot the Friday before, so that friends of ours could come Saturday morning to set up for us. The gardens were beautiful and the reception was flawless - amazing place to have our wedding party! P.S. we brought s'mores fixings and everyone loved making smores at the firepits outside the tent!

The Gardens of Woodstock was just what I was looking for. It was the only venue we looked at and we fell in love instantly. We lucked out and put in our deposit right away and 20 mins later another couple came in wanting our exact date! We got so lucky. Mike was great to work with. He was very responsive and made things easy. We had a beautiful ceremony and I highly recommend if you get married with a small guest list to do so in the front garden area. It is so BEAUTIFUL! No additional followers or decor are needed. I can’t wait to see our pics from the photographer. This truly is a hidden gem. I couldn’t be happier with our choice.

As any couple planning a wedding knows, your venue can make or break the entire experience. My husband and I wanted something unique-- not a traditional, overdone banquet hall or hotel ballroom. From the minute I saw the Gardens of Woodstock online, I knew this was my venue. We went to visit and handed over the deposit that day, without even seeing anything else in person. We made the right decision. Mike answered all my questions and was extremely responsive to my e-mails. You have to use their preferred caterer, which turns out to be a blessing. Noteable Events had AMAZING food and service, and since they work at the Gardens all the time, they knew exactly what to do so it was a lot of stress off us having to shop around for a caterer. The best part is, since the ceremony location and venue in general is so decorated with flowers, plants and lights, you don't even need a florist. My bouquet flowers were fake and I used other things for my centerpieces. Saves you THOUSANDS, but is still a beautiful setting.Since we got married on a Friday, we were able to use the entire venue from 11am-4pm to set up the Thursday before. This took off SOOOOOO much stress from my family and I, and everything was ready to go Friday without any last minute rushing. They even referred us to our DJ, (Ken Murphy from AMP DJ Services) and I am so grateful for that. These were the best decisions I made during wedding planning and wouldn't change a thing! The only two complaints I would have if I had to search for something, would be that there aren't really any nice hotels super close (nicest one is about 17-20 minutes away in Crystal Lake) but that isn't the venue's fault. The second one would be that the brick ground in the tent was pretty dirty with stains and I wish it was just a little cleaner, but honestly since there was low light in the tent with a bunch of guest tables around, I didn't notice it much day of. At the end of the day, my guests gushed about how beautiful and unique my wedding was. It's so convenient with everything right onsite, and if I were to do it all again (I WON'T!) I would not hesitate to book at the Gardens. If you're on the fence-- DO IT.

When we were looking for a venue for our wedding we had checked out 3 places. Once we saw the gardens it was a no brainer. We went in April and it was cold and raining and it was still beautiful. My wedding was the end of August and it was breathtaking. Mike is so helpful with everything and the venue is just so perfect. I couldn't of imagined our wedding anywhere else. Our guests raved about the venue the whole night and have still been taking about it! Book it you won't regret it!

Mike at the Gardens was absolutely incredible. The Gardens is a working flower nursery during the day but completely transforms to a GORGEOUS venue for a wedding. The venue itself has a brick area with an arbor for the ceremony and then on the other side of the garden shop there is a permanent, air conditioned tent for the reception. The garden shop also has a backup space in case of bad weather. It has just been redecorated & is extremely trendy & the perfect fit for a garden center. Overall: Mike, the owner, was extremely accommodating & upfront with us. He told us there were very few things we couldn't do, but pretty much if we wanted it, he would make it work for us. His staff is incredible & bartenders took SUCH good care of us the day of the wedding. The bar only closes for 15 minutes between cocktail hour & the ceremony!! We were able to come look at the venue as many times as we wanted leading up to the wedding & we chose to have our rehearsal on a Thursday & we were able to leave our decor there until Saturday, the day of the wedding and pick it up Monday after! The gardens are open to the wedding guests throughout the day/night to explore. They are gorgeous & make for some AMAZING photos. There are also firepits that get lit that guests can enjoy just outside the reception tent during the reception.Price: The value is SOOO amazing!! The white garden chairs for the ceremony & the reception were included in the fee and there were no hidden costs. Mike broke everything down for us right away so we weren't surprised with any costs. The bar packages are extremely reasonable too and depending on the package, there are so many choices you have! I don't think any of our guests were without something!Ceremony: The space we got married in was beautiful. All of the annuals & perenials are on moved out of the way so chairs can fit for the ceremony but they make beautiful decor so the only decor we needed for our ceremony was decorating the arch that we would stand under. Reception: The tent has air conditioning, bathrooms, and a large dance floor. All of the tables are round tables but there are options for long tables too and Mike will work with you to come up with table arrangements however you want! The tent is also decorated with white lights strung across the ceiling which make for a gorgeous glow at night and the tent even has windows! And one of side of it will open up to the outside for fresh air!Misc: There is a bridal suite upstairs for getting ready that has a kitchenette if you want to bring in food or drinks while getting ready. The inside space to use if the weather is bad can accommodate all of your guests & even has an arch that can be decorated! There is comfortable seating everywhere for those that don't want to stand during cocktail hour. I would recommend the Gardens of Woodstock to anyone who is looking for a reasonable, outdoor, unique location! We truly had an amazing experience & people raved that our wedding was one of the prettiest they'd ever been to!

The venue was simply beautiful!! The grounds and facility were superbly maintained, Mike was easy to work with and very quick with all responses, the bridal suite was perfect, and the event staff were delightful and attentive to our needs. They use a catering company 'Noteable Events' and you will NOT be disappointed. Simply delicious and just as wonderful of a staff. Plenty of parking for those who needed to drive. I found it most comparable as the botanic gardens, but on a smaller scale. My guests loved it and all the photos look great.

We cannot say enough good things about the Gardens of Woodstock. From the moment that I sent the first email, Mike, the owner, was incredibly responsive. He did everything he possibly could to make sure that the day went well. The venue was perfect. The gardens were perfectly manicured and ideal for bridal party photos. One of the reasons that I chose this venue is because the backup/rain location is still very pretty. They even recently redid their large indoor room. We ended up not needing to use that room, but we appreciated that Mike and his staff let couples wait until later in the evening to make the call for an indoor/outdoor wedding. I also liked that the entire event from the ceremony, to cocktail hour (in the gardens) to the reception were all on paved ground. Mike's nephew took care of us by making sure my husband and I had drinks and were well-taken care of. We got married on Saturday, July 1st. I really appreciated that the staff let us and our guests leave our cars there overnight. They were very accommodating. Initially, I was very concerned that they only had one exclusive caterer. However, the food ended up being one of my favorite parts of the evening. Ann Zeyer, the caterer, and Gina, who ran our event, were both fantastic. We chose to the buffet and I can't recommend it enough. All of the food was excellent and we had several guests tell us it was the best wedding food they'd ever had. The price was very reasonable for both the quantity and the quality of the food we got. Overall, the venue was gorgeous, unique, and everything that I could have asked for and more. I was completely impressed with this venue. Not only was Mike the manager quick to respond to all questions, but they were extremely accomodating. My husband and I were looking to get married in April, but we fell in love with this place and changed our season to early summer since they only do weddings May-October. Affordable on a small budget in my opinion! They recently installed an air conditioning unit in the tent were the reception is held but can have the tent flaps opened for an open air feel. Our day was perfect and we had the flaps open, they only shut them when Mike saw a storm coming in, and he turned the AC on. I didn't even notice it had happened, the AC unit does not dull out the music playing by the DJ. The tent is sturdy, cemented into the ground. They work with one caterer, Michael's on Main, which I thought was going to be a negative point but I was WRONG. I had zero complaints about the food, it was DELICIOUS. You get the whole place for your day, so guests can mill around the garden area which is BEAUTIFULLY lit at night. This nursery turned venue at night is a GEM more people need to experience!

The Gardens of Woodstock was everything we were looking for in a wedding venue. It was our first and last stop as we knew as soon as we spoke with Mike and saw the venue this was the place for us. The pictures are gorgeous from both our guest and our photographer. Mike and his staff did nothing but try to accommodate us and make our day special, which they did.I would highly recommend this venue for any event, but especially for a wedding. The guest enjoyed walking all throughout the Gardens after dinner service and sitting by the fire pits while my husband and I took evening photos.The food was amazing by the Garden's preferred vendor and the guest left very full and satisfied.Mike and his caterer, as well as his decorator (which is your option to use) were all responsive and pleasant to deal with.Hurry up and book because this venue books fast!

The gardens is a beautiful location and we received compliments from our guests regarding the atmosphere and great food ( exclusive caterer) our issues were with not being told certain decor wasn't allowed until half way through our rehearsal, after it was all ready all set up, locking the bathrooms 30 min before the reception was over, telling the bride that guests could leave their cars in the parking lot over night and then waiting until 10pm to tell all of our intoxicated guests their cars must be moved or be locked in until Monday when they re-open, they tried to turn the lights off in the garden 30 min into the reception ( that's the whole reason we choose the venue). My whole family felt like they were walking on eggshells and a big inconvenience the whole weekend. They're not big on having kids there and can get abrasive when kids simply act like kids. It's gorgeous there but as the bride I just felt like I couldn't relax. These issues would be one thing if it were just effecting the bride and groom and our parents but our guests were inconvenienced too. If I got to do it again I'd choose a place that just specialized in events and weddings.

We couldn't ask for a more perfect venue. The Gardens of Woodstock is a hidden gem and beautiful no matter what the season is. From Mike B., the venue contact, to Ann Zyer, the preferred caterer contact, our wedding planning experience was able to be personalized to my fiance and I smoothly. Our wedding was magical and I have the Gardens of Woodstock to thank for that. I highly recommend this venue if you are looking for all-in-one outdoor venue. Best google search I have ever done!

We had our wedding here in August and everything was perfect! The Gardens of Woodstock is the hidden gem that I was looking for! Mike, the owner, was very professional and friendly. He was so easy to work with and seemed to truly enjoy having weddings at his Gardens. There is a cute little bridal suite that makes it easy to get ready on site. As for the garden, it is absolutely beautiful from beginning to end!! We had our ceremony on the garden plaza so we would have the more traditional aisle and it was perfect! Our cocktail hour was both on the patio and inside the store which was great for both the people that wanted to sit outside and enjoy the garden as well as for the people who preferred to stay in the air conditioning. The reception was in a very spacious tent and the fire pit tables really added a nice touch, despite it still being warm in the evening. For dinner, they use exclusive caterers and we were told by many people that it was the best wedding food they’ve had. We definitely agreed! All the staff were professional, friendly, and attentive. The garden was lit up beautifully at night so don’t forget to take time to walk around! I would not hesitate to recommend this place to anyone!

The Gardens of Woodstock is a lost gem. Our daughter's wedding was held there on Friday, August 26. This venue is spectacular during the day and into the night. Mike Balleto, the owner, could not be more accommodating. His patience and professionalism along with his staff surpassed our expectations of a beautiful wedding. All our concerns were alleviated and our guests raved about everything from the gorgeous paths, waterfalls, ponds and lighting to the beautiful setting in the tent. It was a spectacular evening and we thank all involved in making our daughter and son-in-laws dream come true.

The Gardens of Woodstock was everything I wanted and more for our wedding day. The pictures I am sure will not do it justice as it is absolutely beautiful there; day and night. We found The Gardens in the middle of January so could not appreciate then what a truly remarkable and unique setting it would be in August. Family and friends cannot stop talking about how much they enjoyed everything about the night. Mike and his team were fantastic to work with and my only regret is I didn't get off the dance floor to take a stroll thru the gardens at night with all the lights!! Run don't walk to book The Gardens. You will not be disappointed!!

The Gardens of Woodstock is absolutely the hidden gem of the northwest Chicago area - it is the most gorgeous venue I have ever seen, and having worked in the wedding industry for a few summers, I have seen quite a few. I may be a little biased, but our wedding was the MOST BEAUTIFUL one I have ever been to, and that was due in large part to our gorgeous venue. Mike and his staff were so helpful and informative throughout the whole process. I can't recommend this venue enough!

This place is clean, beautiful, and gives the feeling of luxury as well as natural beauty. It's garden is perfect for photo opportunities and it's well maintained tent worked great as a dinner area and dance floor. On hot days, fans blow to keep the place cool. It is definitely worth exploring, and I am very satisfied with their service, pricing, and catering (which is included in their services- the food was absolutely top notch!)\r\r

I'm so lucky that I found the Gardens of Woodstock. It really is a hidden gem. It's absolutely stunning in pictures and even more beautiful in person. Mike was a pleasure to work with. He was easy to communicate with, and he was incredibly helpful in making my vision come to life. The in-house caterer was also phenomenal - and affordable! The food was excellent, and the bar was always stocked. The catering and venue staff were so attentive, they even helped in setting up all of the decorations we brought in ourselves, which was such a relief! I am so grateful to the Gardens for everything they did for us. The wedding was perfect, and our guests loved our unique location. I wish we could do it all over again!

My original garden design inspired many of our guests to comment 'You should have weddings here!' Now, we do. The garden design features five waterfalls and a large lily pond which makes for breathtaking pictures.
