The Gatehouse is a garden wedding venue located in Baton Rouge, LA. This property is owned and operated by Christi Edwards, who is passionate about creating events that perfectly suit the vision of each couple. She and her team will work with you throughout the process to handle all the details and ensure a memorable celebration. Featuring a lush tropical garden, secluded and romantic grottoes, and an elegant banquet hall, this venue is a beautiful setting for your special occasion. Enter the ceremony site at The Gatehouse through an arch that takes you down a brick walkway lined with flowers and twinkling lanterns. This path will take you past thick green foliage and a wooden swinging bench where you and your partner can catch a moment alone. At the end of the footpath is a stately white Gazebo, from which hangs a breathtaking chandelier. Here, you and the love of your life can exchange your vows surrounded by a stunning backdrop. An adjacent covered courtyard and atrium can be set up with chairs for your guests to witness the proceedings. Photography opportunities are plentiful throughout the grounds, and include in front of several burbling waterfalls and on the bridge. Receptions are held inside the ballroom, a large space that features polished hardwood floors, luxurious chandeliers, and intricate wainscoting. An attached get-ready suite comes with chic furnishings and vanities where you and your wedding party can relax and prepare ahead of the festivities. The Classic Package at The Gatehouse is designed to ensure a seamless and stress-free nuptials experience. It includes a champagne greeting for you and your wedding party, a guest book, napkins, and in-house music and DJs. The venue also provides mouth-watering hors d’oeuvres, a beverage service, and a customized cake. For an all-inclusive option, the Premium Package comes with theme and décor implementation, centerpieces, linens, a sweetheart table, and a Groom’s cake. Candlelight will also be placed both indoors and outdoors to create a dreamy atmosphere during the ceremony and reception.

We said Yes to “The Gatehouse” and we’d say yes again! 7 days after we got engaged I found this gem 💎. I immediately fell in love with the venue from the pictures and my infectious happiness spread to my future-in-laws leading us to book sight unseen. Christi made sure to work with us on a date and time so myself and my Fiancé could be present to view the venue in-person. Although we were 13-14 months ahead of our anticipated date Christi played the role of “Fairy Godmother” from the “Yes” moment until the “I do’s”and “Farewells”were said. She went above and beyond to make sure we understood the process, knew what to expect and made the entire wedding planning experience such a breeze. Our first meeting we were ushered in and immediately put at ease, waiting for us were planners with everything laid out. She was prepared and ready to make our dream a reality whether we had 50-100 guest. We were given 2 options to choose from The “Classic”package & The “Premium” package. For someone that wanted a beautiful wedding without the stress we choose the premium package that catered to our ever need. Which worked out perfectly when we found out we were expecting 5 months before the event. We didn’t have to go through the stress or hassle, we got to sit back and enjoy the ride and didn’t have to lift a finger except for cake tasting. We would recommend The Gatehouse our event was everything we could have asked for million times over. Christi made sure the event went off without a hitch even with unforeseen circumstances like losing a groomsmen 2 weeks before and having an extra bridesmaids, Christi waved her wand and I didn’t have to worry. The guest are still raving on about the superior food, beautiful ambiance, lively music and the wonderful experience. Our day was one to remember ❤️

This venue is great for those wanting a small, intimate venue with a beautiful outdoor setting and traditional or minimal decor and setup. The outdoor scenery sold me. It offers indoor and outdoor seating, with most of the reception tables being on the courtyard. The only downside is that all of your guests may not be able to see all of the reception activities if they do not peak in or come inside. That was not a deal breaker for me. The coordinator, Christi, is great at delivering her services. She also allows vendors to come in if you would like to do things she doesn't provide. If you are looking for something more modern, she is willing to be flexible and try to achieve that vibe. I definitely asked plenty of questions and for things outside of her normal services to achieve the modern, romantic feeling I wanted. She was patient with me and met with me outside of our normal meeting times. I really appreciated that. The food was great! Everyone loved it. If I had to focus on something that I really wished was different, it would be the tone of the conversations. It can feel a bit snippy sometimes. The focus can also feel like it is about her wedding and vision, rather than yours. If you let her, she will pick out decor, signage, setup, etc. If you are okay with that, go for it. If you want more of a say, just say so. I did, as I planned my own wedding. If you can be open to hearing her out (sometimes she offers great perspectives based on her experience), stay true to your vision, and speak up, I would definitely recommend the place. My son and daughter -in-law got married at The Gatehouse and it was perfect! The gardens and patio with gazebo are beautiful and the reception area is intimate and elegant. The food and cakes were delicious and the d.j. was able to accommodate some of our unusual requests. Christie is the owner/coordinator and she was always on top of things. My son and his wife could not have asked for a better beginning to their marriage!

We could not have had a more perfect venue for our wedding! Christi was PHENOMENAL and was so detail oriented and organized. It took so much stress off of us and our families. I was married here last night and couldn't wait to write a review. This venue is WONDERFUL! Everyone raved about the food and how beautiful everything was. Christi is amazing. She gives as much or as little input as you want her to. She made sure our photographer knew when everything was happening and directed everyone where to go, and she made us plates and got us drinks. The DJ was great and played every song requested. And the staff was friendly and attentive. I really can't say enough good things. I've been to plenty of weddings that were disappointing so I am so happy to say that I, my parents, my husband, and all of our guests had a great time and enjoyed every aspect of our wedding and it's all thanks to Christi and her staff at The Gatehouse.

I would 100% recommend The Gatehouse! Everything turned out so beautiful, elegant, and fun! The food was great, the cake was great, and the to-go box they pack for the bride and groom was packaged so nicely. Christi made the planning process seamless with minimal stress. She was organized, flexible, and on point. The venue handles so much that you really just have to worry about your attire, guest list, photographer, and florist. I was originally drawn to this venue because of how beautiful it is, but after having my wedding there, it is so much more than that. You get so much for an affordable price. I could not have asked for a better wedding!

When we got engaged we immediately knew we wanted to get married at The Gatehouse. Being my very first phone call to check the availibilty I was elated to hear I could get married in 6 months. My first meeting I was greeted with a planning binder and a list of \"to-do's\". Throughout the planning process all I had to do was shoot an email or a quick call to go over what we had in mind. Our cooridnator, Christ Edwards is the best I've ever encountered. All of our guests were able to be guests and not have to worry about setting up or taking down a thing. The day of the wedding was seemless! She checked up on me making sure everyone was having a great time, kept the timeline going perfecting all the while my family and friends danced the night away. I would 100% reccomend getting married at The Gatehouse if you're on the fence. Best experience of my life

Would recommend to everyone for weddings!! The food was amazing and they are very accommodating! Christi made everything so easy and made us feel listened to and calmed us after a tough morning! She accommodated with food allergies in the family and helped with my dress and shoes after the ceremony! This place did everything for us and we feel like we couldn't have asked for better! Even our family was amazed with everything!

I chose to have my Mom's 90th Birthday celebration in Baton Rouge, at The Gatehouse, August 11,2018. My priorities were a beautiful, luxurious Southern venue, great food/wines, indoors (August is hot!), creative & meticulous planner, music/dancing, guest capacity 80-100. All of my expectations were exceeded by Christi and her team at The Gatehouse. From the first phone call to her walking my family out to the car at the end of the party, Christi's many years of experience were fully realized.After meeting with her at the venue, all details of the party were planned via email/phone calls. All details were carried out with excellence & joy. Courteous and prompt attention to every minute detail took all stress from me for this most important life event for my Mom. Christi treats her clients as her own family. She provides all vendors, services for a seamless event custom made for full enjoyment by all. The Gatehouse is truly an all inclusive venue, no surprise add ons, no surprises, period.Communication for a large event is primary. Christi leaves nothing assumed, nor unconfirmed. In my experience, she confirmed confirmations ! She answers her phone on the first ring or replies to messages/emails within an hour or 2.The Gatehouse ballroom and grounds provide the perfect setting for any occasion. Parking is more than ample for your event, easily accesses the ballroom. We had many elderly guests who were able to get around easily. The covered drop off area made impending rains no threat at all for arriving guests.A lavishly appointed \"brides room\" provides quiet for anyone needing it, including nursing moms who were at the party. Any special needs are attended to for your guests(including strained relationships within the guest party) The ballroom & well designed grounds are the ultimate in Southern charm and beauty. Christi and her team reflect the same throughout the event.The grounds are lavishly designed for year round use. Our numbers exceeded what we expected. Christi assured me it would be ok. The packages offered are most helpful in planning this part.Traffic flow is well thought out in this venue. There is no feeling of crowding at all. All the while Christi & her team are moving about, making sure guests have what they need/want. I've hosted many large parties, 2 large weddings for our daughters. I'm a control freak! But at The Gatehouse, I totally let go, gave it all to Christi, relaxed and enjoyed everything. The Gatehouse truly has it all. Christi made Mom's party so special. Because of Mom's limited mobility, Chisti set her up in an antique setee where she could see all her guest, and they could see her. She could sit as guests came throughout the party to sit & visit with her. I chose to have my Mom's 90th Birthday celebration in Baton Rouge, at The Gatehouse, August 11,2018. My priorities were a beautiful, luxurious Southern venue, great food/wines, indoors (August is hot!), creative & meticulous planner, music/dancing, guest capacity 80-100. All of my expectations were exceeded by Christi and her team at The Gatehouse. From the first phone call to her walking my family out to the car at the end of the party, Christi's many years of experience were fully realized.After meeting with her at the venue, all details of the party were planned via email/phone calls. All details were carried out with excellence & joy. Courteous and prompt attention to every minute detail took all stress from me for this most important life event for my Mom. Christi treats her clients as her own family. She provides all vendors, services for a seamless event custom made for full enjoyment by all. The Gatehouse is truly an all inclusive venue, no surprise add ons, no surprises, period.Communication for a large event is primary. Christi leaves nothing assumed, nor unconfirmed. In my experience, she confirmed confirmations ! She answers her phone on the first ring or replies to messages/emails within an hour or 2.The Gatehouse ballroom and grounds provide the perfect setting for any occasion. Parking is more than ample for your event, easily accesses the ballroom. We had many elderly guests who were able to get around easily. The covered drop off area made impending rains no threat at all for arriving guests.A lavishly appointed \"brides room\" provides quiet for anyone needing it, including nursing moms who were at the party. Any special needs are attended to for your guests(including strained relationships within the guest party) The ballroom & well designed grounds are the ultimate in Southern charm and beauty. We only had six months to plan as we were concerned my fiancé may get military orders before year end, he did, and Christi made everything so easy to plan. We decided to do the premium package with a few add ons, s’mores bar and speciality drinks and it was worth every penny. We also brought in a caricature artist and she was flexible with coordinating everything with him. The food was amazing, the venue was gorgeous and our guest raved about how perfect everything was, especially for a group our size, 60. If we had to do it all over again we wouldn’t change a thing. She is very organized and makes sure everything is planned and ready to go. We had our reception there and I really thought that Christi was just going to introduce us and make sure that we stayed on schedule. Well we were wrong she exceeded our expectations. She ran around the entire time making sure we were on schedule, had everything that we could possibly want and that everything went perfectly. When we left she put a basket of our food (because we had to much fun and no time to eat) and a bottle of champagne! I can’t express how great our experience. The Gatehouse does it all! The premium package is worth every penny! This venue was highly affordable and included so much. Christi was great to work with and coordinated the wedding day perfectly. The food was amazing, and having to-go food the next day was a life saver! The ceremony and reception went so smoothly. I highly recommend this venue. Where do i begin..Christie and her staff were absolutely amazing. They went above and beyond to make sure our night was perfect. Whenever we needed to make changes she was always available by email or phone. Everyone there was so helpful and very professional. And the food.. My goodness. My family is very picky and for them to actually say they \"LOVED\" the food is a major compliment. We had an open bar and those drinks were flowing from the minute we said \"i do\" and didn't stop until it was time to walk out the door. When i got there on my wedding day, Christie made sure i didnt have to stress about anything which made me so thankful! I would definitely recommend The Gatehouse to anyone looking to have a stress-free wedding day!!

Where do i begin..Christie and her staff were absolutely amazing. They went above and beyond to make sure our night was perfect. Whenever we needed to make changes she was always available by email or phone. Everyone there was so helpful and very professional. And the food.. My goodness. My family is very picky and for them to actually say they \"LOVED\" the food is a major compliment. We had an open bar and those drinks were flowing from the minute we said \"i do\" and didn't stop until it was time to walk out the door. When i got there on my wedding day, Christie made sure i didnt have to stress about anything which made me so thankful! I would definitely recommend The Gatehouse to anyone looking to have a stress-free wedding day!!

Christi and her mother were absolutely wonderful and a great help. They were very accommodating and helpful and they handled all of the details! I cannot tell you how nice it was to not have to worry about the food, cake, DJ, decorations, schedule, etc! There are so many wonderful options included in their packages I barely had to worry about anything! It was so nice not having to deal with tons of different venders. On the day of the wedding, my husband and I got married at our church and then came to the Gatehouse for our reception and everything was ready and organized and it looked absolutely beautiful! Christi and her staff helped the event move along at a good pace and I didn't have to stress about one thing. I would highly recommend this venue! The Gatehouse is beautiful and their packages are a low price and my reception was everything that I could have wanted.

The Gatehouse was perfect. Christy was a big help with everything. She made my whole planning process stress free and she was always there to answer all my questions and concerns. Would most diferently recommend the Gtaehouse to any occasion. The grounds are gorgeous and well kept. The food was really good as well, I got a lot of complaints on how good the food was. And the to-go box they packed was in a cute tote that I got to kept. Everything was perfect and what I had dreamed about.

This is a fantastic location. We had about 100 guests, and we had no issues fitting everyone in. There's also a spacious outside area, where guests can mingle and the music isn't so loud, so it's really twice the space. It also looks beautiful at night.\r\rThe package we got included the fee for the wedding cake and the DJ service, so in the end, it was also the best value we found of the other venues in the Baton Rouge area.

I had my wedding here last weekend. Christi and her staff were very organized, professional, and helpful! Christi made sure every detail was in place! I'm pretty much a control freak, but Christi made me feel so comfortable and I trusted her to see that my vision came through. Everyone complimented how beautiful the venue and the great organization. The venue is incredibly affordable for a moderate income family. It's the perfect size for the smaller weddings. I had 75 people and it wasn't crowded nor did it look too large for them. The food was great--she even took the extra time to have the leftovers packed and labeled for us! Not once did I feel like I was paying too much. Thanks for eveything, Christi!

Christi was absolutely wonderful! The package we paid for was all inclusive so we had to do very little on our part. Christi made our night so wonderful and enjoyable! Worth every penny we spent. My husband and I never had to ask for a thing or worry what was next. Christi even helped me with my minor wardrobe malfunction. The food was delicious. The servers were friendly and circulated frequently. The bartender was very friendly and fast. The music could have been better, but to be fair, I was not as specific about my music preferences as I apparently should have been. The Gatehouse is a one stop reception/wedding shop that is more than worth the price. I highly recommend that you at least call Christi and take a tour. I could not have been happier with the service we received from this venue.

My husband and I are from Mississippi but decided to have a wedding in Louisiana. Thanks to the Knot, we found The Gatehouse. Our desire was to have a destination wedding with an outside ceremony and indoor reception. The Gatehouse was the perfect venue for us. Instantly, we fell in love with the photos of the outdoor ceremony area and the indoor reception area. There was some hesitation because we were planning a destination wedding. Christi Edwards, owner and wedding coordinator, was absolutely amazing!!! After the first conversation with her, I knew we made the right decision. She is an amazing person. Her humble personality and patience helped to reduce my stress level. Once you book with The Gatehouse, you have access to another portion of the website which offered many suggestions and options for the wedding and reception. Even though there was a distance between us, Christi did an awesome job of communicating with me through phone calls and emails. I can honestly say that the day of the wedding went smoothly. We were able to enjoy our special day without worrying about the planning and setup. The ceremony was outside during the early evening and was BEAUTIFUL!! The food was AMAZING and definitely exceeded our expectations. Our guests are still raving about how great the venue was and how much they enjoyed the food. Througout the day, Christi checked with us to see if there was anything we needed. After the reception, she ensured that we had all our gifts and belongings in the designated vehicle. We could not have asked for a better venue to have our wedding. Christi and The Gatehouse staff were the reason for our beautiful and stress-free wedding day. Christi and her crew took care of organizing our rehearsal, setting up & taking down of the decor, the flow of the wedding, the food & cake, and I'm sure so much more that I don't even realize. I was a busy bride on a budget with expensive taste. The Gatehouse met all of these qualities for me. The venue & food were exceptional. The ambience was intimate & classy. This wedding site is definitely worth checking out!

The Gatehouse will handle all the food catering including the wedding cake and groom's cake. They do all the decorations that you want. They have several options to choose from and you can bring in anything extra that you want. They provide their own DJ, but also allow you bring in your own band if you choose. They work with your photographer, minister, wedding party, and family to help keep the stress off the bride on her wedding day. Christi did a fantastic job working with me with all the decision-making. They have a beautiful gazebo outside for the ceremony and great landscaping that make the pictures come out beautiful. They have a very nice indoor reception hall. I would recommend this place to any one who asked me where I got married. They helped make the day very special without all the stress of the all the wedding planning and worrying if everything was done. They handle all that for you. All the bride has to do the day of the wedding is show-up.

All we wanted for our wedding was to have a great time and be able to enjoy ourselves. The staff at The Gatehouse were thorough and focused on the details to make our wedding run as smoothly as possible and allowed us to have our wish. We elected the classic dinner menu, and everyone ranted about the food! The potential threat of hail and rain did not deter us from having the best experience possible. We were provided with a backup plan and things worked out to not needing to use the covered areas! The all inclusive packages allowed me to have such a stress free planning process. The basic package included cake, dj, food, centerpieces...with several ptions to upgrade to create an environment that was so romantic and unforgettable! I definitely recommend The Gatehouse to any bride who wants an intimate, romantic, stress-free, and enjoyable experience.

The wedding coordinators at The Gatehouse made my wedding more than I ever could have imagined. When my cake topper broke and damaged the cake, they fixed it and came up with an alternate cake topper without bothering me with the details. They made sure that I was taken care of throughout the day by making me a plate of food and offering me beverages. All of my guests have said this was the best wedding they've been to and said the food was excellent! There attention to detail didn't stop at the end of the wedding. The bride and groom food boxes were labeled, decorated, and included forks and napkins. When my cake topper broke and damaged the cake, they fixed it and came up with an alternate cake topper without bothering me with the details. Everything turned out wonderful. They provided the food, food service, drinks and bartender, table decorations, cake and cake stand, DJ, napkins, and to top it off a coordinator for the entire ceremony and reception. It took a load off of my mind and shoulders, as I'd never been involved in a wedding before, little less my own! I didn't have to worry about ushering around my own wedding!They walked me through everything that a typical wedding requires to go smoothly during the planning stage, and rehearsed with my bridal party before the ceremony. The location was beautiful, with plenty blooming trees and flowers, as well as lots of parking. Despite how close it seems to be to the interstate on a map, it feels like it's nowhere near anything else when you're actually there. The food was fantastic, and well supplied. I ended up spending a little more that I originally anticipated, but I couldn't resist their selection of table linens for the reception. The only downfall I had was the construction going on for the road leading to it, but that should be finished soon from the looks of it. I highly recommend The Gatehouse.

The Gatehouse was an amazing venue for my March 17th wedding. The garden was blooming and the gazebo setting was gorgeous for the ceremony. This venue is intended for smaller weddings. We had about 140 which was a comfortable size, but I think it would start too feel crowded much over 150. The wedding coordinators kept everything moving flawlessly, and the bridal party and family all complemented how smoothly everything flowed. The food was amazing, and I was really impressed with the quantity, selection, and variety of items that they included for the price. Many of the guests said it was the best catering they had ever had. This venue is a really good value because they include their in-house DJ and the bride's cake in the package - plus lots of other great extras. Also the outdoor area is covered with a glass atrium - so no tent rentals for backup rain planning required! I highly recommend this venue!!

My do went so well that I experience so much peace, I wondered if I was dreaming. The staff was so helpful and nice. My great mom was so thankful that her only job that day was to look great. The food was over the top, I still have people calling and telling me that was the greatest wedding food there ever had in there life. Felt like you were eating at a fine dinning, something hard to do for a large crowd. I would highly recommend this place to a queen. I couldn't have pictured a more perfect way to celebrate our big day. Laura (the wedding planner) went above and beyond to help us each step along the way. She was the reason why my mom-in-law and I picked this venue. The prices were great, everyone LOVED the food, the place was beautiful, and did I mention how great Laura is? The day of my wedding rehearsal, there was a bit of an issue of who would walk me down the aisle. My father wasn't in the picture so it was a toss up between my brother and my father in law. At the last minute, I couldn't chose.... and Laura came up with the genius idea of my husband meeting me half way. It made the walk so memorable, and the day even more perfect. The venue itself is a beautiful backdrop for pictures. It is the perfect place for all of the brides that want outside weddings, but don't want to worry about rain, etc. on the big day. I really can't send enough praise their way! I will definitely recommend The Gatehouse to all of my friends!

Just because this place does everything for you, from providing the DJ and wedding cake to coordinating the day-of timeline, doesn't mean you have to sacrifice your personal requests. Every detail I desired was worked in quite elegantly and all those things I couldn't care less to think about were arranged without a fuss. When priced against several other formidable venues in Baton Rouge, the variety of foods served makes The Gatehouse stand out from all the rest. The site comfortably holds 125 guests both inside and outside and wait staff attended to both areas fantastically. I cannot even begin to describe the well manicured grounds or the picture perfect bridge over a quaint creek just begging to have pictures taken on it! And though I decided to be married during June in Louisiana the ice blowers kept my guests comfortable during the wedding. I highly recommend this facility, the staff were always prompt in answering any of my million questions by phone or email and they bent over backwards to make sure my wedding would be talked about by family and friends for years to come.

The Gatehouse is in a good location and at a great price. It is also beautiful and packages allow details to make your day or night even more exquisite. We upgraded to \"touch of twilight\" which candle lit our entire ceremony which was absolutely breath taking outdoors around the aisle and the gazebo. The service was absolutely superb. The owners really know how to run the show. They were always available for any and every question we had and missed absolutely no detail to make our wedding even more amazing and memorable than we ever dreamed it could be! I would sincerely refer anyone to them.

My husband and I got married over the Thanksgiving weekend and I must say we couldn't have chosen a more perfect place for our wedding. The outdoor space for the ceremony made me feel like a princess and the reception was to die for. We didn't bring any flowers or other decorations for the tables, didn't really need to. The space was already decorated but with nothing that would clash with us or would draw the eye from the important events (like the groom dropping his bride during the first dance). The food was wonderful and we used the basic menu. There were no complaints from any of our guests. Wasn't any drama and I absolutely loved having my wedding here. They cover food, dj, and cake. There were only a few instances that we had to send someone to hunt down the coordinator but she wasn't ever far from us.

I received lots of compliments on the food and how beautiful the place looked. It was an early March wedding, so flowers were just beginning to bloom on the property. I thought it was a very reasonable price and was thrilled with how much they took care of (DJ, catering, whatever other misc I needed help with). The gatehouse provides some of the most delicious food I have ever tasted, a fantastic wedding cake (I got to choose the design and all flavors), and the DJ services were included! All of these things help me tremedmously withthe planning, but the single most helpful, wonderful aspect of the Gatehouse was my coordinator Laura! She helped me SOOO much with my planning and giving me timelines, etc etc etc! She helped me to design the invitations from the sample books that she has in her office, designed unique centerpieces for David and I, helped us choose favors, and designed very classy labels for our centerpieces and favors. Booking at The Gatehouse was very easy and on our limited budget I was very afraid that I would not be able to have all of the things that I dreamed about, but they helped make all those dreams come true on my wedding day! I really couldn't have asked for more!\r\rSo many family members and friends have told us how beautiful everything was on our wedding day and I know that The Gatehouse and Laura had a lot to do with it!!\r\rTake my advise and attend one of their open houses, or give tham a call to look at their packages, I promise you will not be disappointed!!

I had my ceremony and reception here. The ceremony took place behind the ballroom at the gazebo in the garden. It was stunning! The gazebo area is covered for your guests, and off to the left of the gazebo is a lush garden with a small pond and waterfall. It's just breathtaking. You can hear the soft sound of the water during the ceremony so it makes it feel so tranquil and secluded even though you are in the city of Baton Rouge.\r\rThe staff was so wonderful. My coordinator noticed some guests took my and my husbands reserved seats for the reception so she set up a small sweetheart table and brought us every type of food. I was so thankful because I was so hungry! \r\rThe food was AMAZING! I still get compliments on the food. Everyone said it was by far the best wedding food they've ever had. I wish I could go there for dinner! :) \r\rI also get compliments, over a year since my wedding, about how gorgeous the facility was. My budget wasn't that extensive so our families weren't expecting much. They were shocked! I love looking at my pictures. \r\rMy only gripe is the reception package is only for 3 hours. In my opinion, it was too short. I was having so much fun and I felt like I was being rushed. I wanted to talk to my guests and still enjoy the reception dancing. I'm sure I would have said the same thing if I had a 6 hour reception package.\r\rSo overall, The Gatehouse is wonderful. It's a small reception venue, perfect for less than 100 guests. You really need to see it in person to fully appreciate all it has to offer.
