The Gathering Barn is the perfect blend of rustic elegance and sophistication for your special day. The beautiful, scenic country views coupled with acres of lush landscapes, will give you the storybook occasion you've always dreamed of. I honestly cannot say enough great things about this venue. We were married August 8, 2020 amidst all the changes in society due to covid-19, and had to switch our venue 3 weeks prior to the wedding, due to our previous venue no longer being able to host our guests. Mary was amazing and made the crazy whirlwind of re-planning a wedding in 3 weeks go very smoothly. You could tell how much she cared the entire time, and how her main goal was to make sure we were still able to have the wedding we had always dreamed of. Talking with our guests throughout the night we received countless compliments on how beautiful the venue was. Mary, Megan and the rest of the staff at the Gathering Barn were better than I could have ever hoped for, and I did not worry about one thing the entire night, because of all the hard work and effort they put into the day for us. If you are looking for a beautiful outdoor barn venue for your wedding there is NO BETTER PLACE is central Wisconsin than this place; you aren't going to find a staff that cares more about their couples. Thank you Gathering Barn for making my COVID wedding everything and more than I could have hoped for!

We had our wedding here a few months ago and had a great experience overall. We booked this venue almost two years in advance which was great for doing monthly payments. Afton & Megan are great teammates and get things done. They are both very sweet, kind and understanding. I hired Megan for my day of coordinator and wedding planner, she’s the absolute best. Truly, everyone needs a Megan in their life and her husband Chris was our videographer. He did absolutely amazing and exceeded our expectations. I highly recommend this venue as it’s gorgeous, clean and modern. The property offers so many activities for your guests. The staff are amazing and do everything to make your day the best day ever. My husband and I have decided every year around our anniversary date we are going to go back and visit! Oh and we got to have our dogs with us, which means the world to us!

Some things to think about before you book this place: There is no plumbing in this barn. Walk in dark on grass to get to bathrooms. This is hard for elderly. They need a concrete lighted path. The appetizer table is too small. Make sure you request extra or larger ones. Biggest complaint: we hired the personal attendant from the busy barn employees which was to keep the appetizer bar plenished with trays of snacks which we had all plated and wrapped in an outside cooler. She was also to help pick up all of our decor, garbage, extra food and place back into our trailer. DO NOT HIRE for this. These women were so disrespectful with our items at the end of the night. They just stacked and tossed stuff into the trailer in a heap covering whatever was on the bottom. Dirty dishes were mixed with decorations and gifts. Nothing was damaged, but a little respect in packing things with some organization would have been appreciated. They also started taking decor down at 9:30. We worked so hard to set a beautiful display up we would have liked it up until 11.Venue is beautiful for daytime wedding in summer so the doors on barn can be open. We had an October wedding with a cold winding day unfortunately.

I cannot speak highly enough about this venue. Mary has so many tips and tricks to offer about the wedding planning process, telling us things we hadn't even thought about. She clearly takes so much pride in her venue, it's so well kept and it's absolutely beautiful. The personal attendant, Megan, is FANTASTIC. She is so nice, helpful, and keeps an eye on every little thing happening at the wedding. She's on top of everything, she anticipated our questions and requests, and we could not have had such a perfect day without her help. She helped get everything set up, helped with the ceremony, and helped clean up. Afton was also such a big help making our day successful. She was always checking in with us, was there the night of the rehearsal helping us get setup and helped clean up as well. She was a wealth of knowledge and she was always there reminding us to eat and drink! She greeted our vendors as well so they knew where to go. We got so many compliments about the venue (I can't stress enough how beautifully decorated it is) and the animals were a huge hit! Great venue for kids, if they're invited to the wedding. We're so happy we chose this venue, they made our day perfect.

Our daughter had her wedding here 9/11/21. The venue was amazing and fun for all ages. Our personal attendant, Megan was outstanding and the owner, Mary was very attentive and really knows her business. Every one of our guests commented on how perfect and beautiful the setting was. So many places to take memorable pictures and enjoy being outdoors. We had a wonderful celebration!

Our daughter had her wedding here 9/11/21. The venue was amazing and fun for all ages. Our personal attendant, Megan was outstanding and the owner, Mary was very attentive and really knows her business. Every one of our guests commented on how perfect and beautiful the setting was. So many places to take memorable pictures and enjoy being outdoors. We had a wonderful celebration!

seriously the best venue if you want more for your guests. Mary and the coordinator Megan were absolutely phenomenal to work with. And they literally have everything you could ever want all in one location. I seriously hope someone we know gets married there too so we can enjoy everything they have to offer.

We got married at The Gathering Barn on May 31st 2019. The Gathering Barn was the first venue we looked at, we ended up booking it the next day because we knew it was perfect. Finding The Gathering Barn basically got our wedding planning rolling, things started falling into place after booking it. Mary is absolutely amazing, she goes beyond above and beyond. They have hosted tons of weddings and have no problem answering countless questions. Mary was by our side from booking the venue until we came to pick up our cars the day after our wedding. There are so many things for the guests to do, so we were actually able to do all our pictures and none of the guests got board. There have been a number of weddings this summer and I am very proud to say that our wedding gets brought up at each one, you could say we have \"No Regrets!\".

Mary and Gary of Busy Barns Adventure Farm are wedding saints! They both take such an interest in every couple that used their more than breathtaking venue for their wedding day. Mary helped us out so much and made the entire process so much less stressful and the day of flow easier than expected. I 100% wish that I could go back in time and relive my wedding, it was amazing! I am STILL getting compliments on the venue and all the amazing farm animals. This is truly the place to be if you have lots of friends and family, but I have no doubt it would be just as grand for a small wedding. I LOVE this place!
