Events at The Gathering Barn benefit with a small town feel, yet is just a short jaunt to Iowa City. It is located in Williamsburg, Iowa and right along Interstate 80. The Gathering Barn will open in Fall 2020, as we await the construction process. With our spacious gathering room seating 500+ guests, breathtaking sunsets, and peaceful farmland surrounding the barn, this venue will surely be the right fit for your event. I highly recommend getting married at The Gathering Barn. I had my ceremony and reception at this venue and everything was amazing. Dana and Alexa (the owners) are very friendly and were very helpful throughout the entire wedding process. They are very responsive to email and hold in-person meetings when needed. We had great service from everyone the day of our wedding. The venue is beautiful and large. With 200 guests, it was very spacious and could comfortably hold another 200+. Additionally, the venue is more affordable than most in the area.

We had our ceremony and reception here and could not have asked for a better day! Dana and Alexa were great to work with throughout the planning process and always had a quick response to all of my questions. The barn is beautiful along with friendly staff to work with. We couldn't imagine having our day anywhere else!

We had our ceremony and reception here, Very very beautiful Venue, they assisted us with set and tear down, help us put everything away. It really was the best day! They where always available when ever we had questions or wanted to make changes.
