The Georges occupies four buildings on opposing sides of Lexington’s Main Street, including two of the town’s oldest surviving structures, the Washington and Marshall buildings. The handsome Georgian-style Washington building is home to the beautiful Haywood’s restaurant, which offers formal dining in a relaxed, intimate atmosphere and can accommodate up to 75 guests for cocktails and 50 for a sit-down dinner. The stunning picturesque courtyard is perfect for intimate celebrations of up to 25. You and your loved ones can enjoy each other’s company under a canopy of fairy lights, with warm red brick walls and gorgeous blooms as your backdrop. Alternatively, the Garden Terrace could be the ideal elegant setting for your cocktail hour or reception. Surrounded by boxwood, crepe myrtle, and fragrant hydrangea, the Terrace is a lush romantic space that will set the tone perfectly for your celebration of love. The Patton Room is The Georges’ newest addition and acts as a light-filled, blank canvas for you to execute the wedding of your dreams. Featuring picture windows, high ceilings, and gorgeous chandeliers, you can host up to 200 standing guests or 120 seated. The Georges also offers 21 rooms and suites, each featuring handpicked furniture and luxurious finishings. The Georges Reviews
I went with The Georges for both my rehearsal dinner (Haywoods Restaurant) and wedding reception (The Patton Room). The rehearsal dinner at Haywoods went smoothly with about 50-55 people coming in and out throughout the event. We had about 90 guests attending the reception and it was a sit down dinner. There was plenty of room for all our guests and for a nice sized dance floor! The Patton Room is a sophisticated venue and is decorated beautifully. It was perfect in every way! Every staff member I worked with was amazing (Stephanie, Ella, and Allison). They were attentive and helpful throughout the booking and planning process. Another great thing about The Georges is they have their own bar/bartenders, catering service, and dining staff which streamlined everything because we did not have to worry about going through separate companies. Also, they work directly with MS events for all rentals (tables, linens, dishes, etc) you may need, which was convenient as well. The food, service, and atmosphere was spectacular! I still hear about it today from our guests. If you are getting married in Lexington, you will not be disappointed with The Georges!

Choosing the Patton Room for our rehearsal dinner/welcome party was the absolute BEST choice in Lexington. We hosted approximately 40 people for dinner and 100 for the party. I cannot overstate the kindness and professionalism of the event planner, Ella. She was very responsive in all communications and very organized, making the planning process from out of town seamless. The entire team was simply fantastic and exceeded our expectation, making the evening magical. The food was delicious and the room stands on its own with little need for many extra decorations. Do not hesitate to select the Patton Room for your special event, you will not be disappointed !!!
