We hosted a bridal shower at the Thornapple Pointe Golf club Gazebo. It was the perfect place for our shower! The staff were courteous and professional. The food was excellent. Many of my guests gave compliments about the food especially the flourless chocolate cake. Our event manager Anna was detail oriented and professional. She was a huge help in making sure this was a beautiful event!

We hosted an intimate bridal shower in the gazebo and it was the perfect setting! Communication and planning were wonderful. The lunch buffet and mimosas were perfect for our event. I highly recommend the gazebo for a small gathering!

We couldn't have asked for better staff, food, or atmosphere for our wedding. Every detail was thought of and taken into consideration. The food was phenomenal, and we are still hearing from our guests about how much they loved it! The grounds of the golf course were beautiful for pictures and the even the staff that wasn't working our wedding were helpful and kind.

Our event coordinator was wonderful to work with; the communication was clear and quick, and the staff that helped us the day of were also very helpful, courteous, and accommodating. I would definitely recommend holding an event at Thornapple Pointe.

The even coordinator was easy to work with a very responsive. The pavilion is a great atmosphere, making our decorating job fairly easy. Traditional layout with dance floor in the middle was great, event staff was wonderful, and food was good. We thought the dessert fee for bringing in your own dessert was a bit pricey, but we knew that cost before booking.

Beautiful venue! If you’re looking for a venue that if fair priced, but still feels elegant, this is your place!! The food was amazing, the staff was always accommodating. The inside is so beautiful, so minimal decorations are needed on your end! The only “downside” is it is located across from the airport, so if you are having your ceremony outdoors you run the possibility of a plane flying overhead mid ceremony (although this did not happen to us).

We loved having our reception at Thornapple Pointe Golf Club! The venue is gorgeous and food was delicious! We got a lot of compliments on the food. Ashley (event coordinator) was very helpful and was there during the event. We had so much fun going out on golf carts for pictures on the golf course too! The only negative was that it was difficult for our guests to find parking (due to a golf event) even though we were told that there would be enough parking. However, I would highly recommend this venue.

The Pavillion at Thornapple Pointe was absolutely fantastic for our wedding reception! Ashley was so easy to work with and helped to make our evening perfect. We got so many compliments on the food and also the room and setting. We were able to take golf carts out on the course with our photographer and capture some beautiful photos! Ashley and the staff were amazing the day before and night of. Absolutely perfect night!

Loved the view and amenities offered. We had our ceremony on the golf lawn, which was set up with adorable white chairs. The pavilion is awesome because of all the glass -- makes you feel like you're outdoors, but you're inside with air conditioning. :) Our bartender and waitstaff were awesome throughout dinner and afterwards. We were given access to golf carts to take our wedding party around the course for photos, which was so fun! My only wish is that they had a more specified wedding planner, as Ashley is also the bartender in the clubhouse. However, she was very attentive up to and during our big day. I just feel that she could have a full time role without the bartender position. Thank you Thornapple for making our day great!

The venue is beautiful. I love the view created by all the glass. Food and bar all in one is very convenient. The staff are super helpful and work with you to make it truly your day. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a warm, inviting reception venue

I just had our wedding outdoor ceremony and reception here. \r\rLet me start off by saying the food, actual day of wedding was amazing. We took photos on the course and there were a lot of nice places for them. We had a vintage themed wedding and since the course is an old farm there were a lot of vintage things there!\r\rNow the planning of the wedding with the course was a headache. The wedding coordinator couldn't get things right, our wedding is over and we were still over billed for the wedding. We emailed back and forth (which was a good thing) so I had all given prices in writing from the coordinator. I had to correct things over and over. Even after her telling us she would fix them. The day of the wedding we paid extra for a bartender, and though not many got alcoholic drinks the ones who did were always waiting for someone. I was not happy about this, I thought my money was going to someone who would be there waiting, but no! When it was time to cut the cake there was no cake knife (we had a bride and groom cake with cupcakes for the guests). I had a signed contract and I held the coordinator to that and the word she gave us. If you plan to use them for your wedding make sure you do the same. Have written confirmation of everything or you will be paying twice as much as you were told.

We had our wedding reception at Thornapple Pointe Golf Club in the Fall of 2012! I was very pleased with the quality, service, price, and convienance of everything! We took our wedding pictures on the golf course and there are so many beautiful features of the course that the pictures turned out amazing.(Including a bridge, water, tunnel, fall trees and railroad tracks!) I loved the feel of our reception being indoors but with all glass doors and windows so it felt like you were outside and could overlook the course or go outside to get some fresh air. The staff was very friendly and easy to work with and I cant mention enough how great the food was! I still have people mention how great the food was and being the best food they have had at a wedding. Thats an awesome feeling to have high quality delicious food for your guests! We had almost 250 people and it was a perfect fit for everything. It was nice to be able to bring decorations and set up the reception to however we wanted and be able to make it our own. There was plenty of parking for guests and the bathrooms and bar area were a really nice set up! Everything was a resonable price and I compared a lot of places with food, bar, room rental etc and this place was the best for it! I'm so glad we went with Thornapple Pointe for our wedding reception, what an incredible reception and happy memories we will always have now!

The location was stunning, my ceremony looked absolutely beautiful. However, we paid an extra $150 to use the audio equipment and unfortunately the equipment was awful. 15 minutes before the ceremony was supposed to begin we were scrambling around trying to find someone to set it up because the wedding coordinator was not there that day. Then once it was set up there was no time to test it and none of my guests could actually hear my ceremony. Besides that it was wonderful, the price was reasonable and my ceremony was great.

The atmosphere of Thornapple Pointe is wonderful.It feels like you are outside except there aren't any bugs and the temperature is just right. The food was delicious and I wouldn't trade my time spent there for anything in the world!

We loved the location for our reception, it was by a wooded area and could enjoy the beautiful fall colors. Although, it was a bit cold out, we still had some pics outside but unfortunately ran out of time and daylight for pics on the course :( They staff was friendly. \r\rit was a bit dusty in the building and was difficult to communicate with the event planner at times since she was also the bartender at the course.

We had our reception in the pavilion and it was exactly what my husband and I envisioned! The staff was wonderful to work with and very easy going. They allowed us to come in the day before to set-up and again on the day of the wedding.\r\rThey had the room laid out for even flow and no confusion for guests. We were well warned regarding the single-use restrooms and they did open the clubhouse when the line started to grow, but we hope they will take the light switches off timers soon (Yipes!).\r\rOverall, we were very happy and our guests shared the same sentiment! If you're looking for a more casual, outdoor feel for your event but want the security of a roof over your head and heat (or a/c) for your guests, look at Thornapple Pointe's pavilion!

I had my reception at Thornapple pointe in the club house it turned out awesome! Very clean and modern large bar and plenty of room for dancing. Our ceramony was outside the clubhouse and was amazing also. Very pretty overlooking the greens. We also took our photos on the back side of the course along the Thornapple River-Beautiful!

I had my reception at Thornapple pointe in the club house it turned out awesome! Very clean and modern large bar and plenty of room for dancing.
