Located in New Smyrna Beach, FL, The Grand 721 is a farmhouse style wedding venue with everything you need on site to create an incredible wedding making us the most affordable and easy to use venue in central Florida. This beautiful destination is an important part of Florida's history, as it was one of the first citrus packing barns in the state, initially built in 1914. You and your partner can become a part of this illustrious history when you book your nuptial here, for a romantic and rustic celebration. Steeped in Florida charm, this venue can offer a welcoming and unique atmosphere for you and your guests. With both indoor and outdoor spaces to utilize, your celebration should flow seamlessly through the property. You can begin your day in the get-ready suite, where you will be able to prepare and relax before the walk down the aisle. From there, you and your partner can meet for a beautiful ceremony under the open sky or in the barn itself. Afterward, guests can dine and dance the night away in the barn. Other spaces to use include The White Room, and The Whiskey Room, and the stunning outdoor grounds. When it comes to your wedding day, the onsite team at The Grand 721 will do their best to ensure that your day runs as smoothly as possible under the guidance of their dedicated event manager. They can offer a variety of event rental items, such as farm tables, buffet tables, round tables, cocktail tables, and whiskey barrels. They can also provide lighting equipment, centerpieces, signage, chairs, and much more. The onsite staff will also be there to set up and break down after the festivities.

We booked the grand ol barn sight unseen, when we finally got to see the venue for the first time we knew this was the place to be married, I loved the exposed wooden beams & the chandlers in the reception, I loved the history of the building & I loved the location. Ashley b was incredible the entire process leading up to the day, the entire staff were amazing. Our guest loved the food & service. The bridal suite was beautiful & so easy to get ready in especially if you have more than 5 people in your wedding party. I canāt recommend the grand ol barn enough. I couldnāt have asked for a better experience coming from them. I also cant rave enough about my florals.

What an amazing place for your wedding!!! We knew after our meeting with Ashley, this was our venue!! We loved everything about the venue from having an outside ceremony location, and an onsite backup indoor ceremony location just in case, to all of the decor that was included!! Most of all, Ashley was nothing short of amazing! She was responsive, paid attention to details, and made sure our wedding and reception was perfect!! I highly recommend the venue and Ashley for your special day!!

I truly could not recommend a venue more! It was everything we dreamed of. They were so accommodating and kind, we felt like royalty! Our wedding at The Grand 721 was more than perfect! Every detail, every staff member and every moment of our day was picture perfect! I can not thank the staff and our coordinator Regan enough for how everything turned out! We are still in awe of the perfection that was our wedding day! We booked The Grand Olā Barn in December 2022 and had our wedding on 10/28/23! The venue is absolutely gorgeous and was large enough to host all of our friends and family as we had close to 200 guests. My husband planned our entire wedding from start to finish with assistance from Regan, our wedding coordinator. She made the planning process extremely easy and stress free. Regan helped fill me in a few weeks before the wedding and demonstrated extreme professionalism before, during and after our big day.I was really impressed with Chef Lee, the catering manager. One of our guests had a black pepper allergy and was hand delivered an allergy-friendly meal during the reception. We had 10 tables with 20 guests at each. I canāt imagine it was easy to find her with the chaos however, they made it work and she said it was delicious! We received a lot of compliments on the food and how fast his clean up crew was able to clear the tables.As hiccups are to be expected in every wedding, ours were small and unique to us. I appreciate Regan and Shauna making time to discuss my concerns after the wedding.

Ashley B and The Grand Ol Barn were phenomenal to work with! The mid summers night package is definitely the way to go! Ashley listened to all of our requests, answered every email and made our big day go off without a hitch! The Grand Ol Barn is beautiful inside and outside!

Our wedding was July 8, 2023 and it could not have been more perfect. The venue is beautiful and so many guests commented on not only that, but the ease of attending an event where the ceremony, cocktail hour & reception were in one place.The staff, and especially our coordinator Ashley, were courteous, attentive, and brought every detail of our wedding vision to life.I was prepared for things to go wrong or run late, and thank to the entire GOB team, I can honestly say that I canāt think of one thing I wasnāt happy with or would have changed.One of the first things I said to my husband when we left the event was that if we had to start planning from scratch all over again, I would do everything exactly the same way. I cannot recommend the Grand Olā Barn enough.And one last note- my dad cannot stop raving about the menās bathroom. He said itās the nicest bathroom heās ever been in hahaha. Absolutely 5 stars and beyond!

Where do we even begin?! We hosted our wedding at the Grand OL Barn on July 1, 2023 with approximately 145 people. We booked one of the Barbās All Inclusive packages and the value for the money was amazing! It was truly our fairytale wedding! Regan, our event planner, was amazing to work with both prior to the wedding and especially the night of. She was always quick to communicate during the planning stages. I also worked with Lyric from Catering and she was so responsive and on it- we added some new items the barn hasnāt done before (Mix your own Martini station with an ice luge and Oyster bar) and they knocked it out of the park! All of our guests RAVED about the food and offerings! The barn offered us the perfect setting to make our fairytale wedding come to life and it more than delivered! Having the flexibility of the spaces let us host a completely air conditioned wedding from ceremony to reception in unique spaces and kept our guests cool (important in Florida in July!!). I couldnāt recommend the Barn more. Amazing venue, amazing staff, and a fantastic facility with the ability to truly make it unique to you.

If you are looking for an all-inclusive wedding venue-this is it. We didn't have the mental or physical real estate to spend time managing all of the details and they made this painfully beautiful day come to life! I want to thank everyone there from catering to floral to planning all of it for making it seem as if we had it all together.

I chose this venue because it was all indoors. From the ceremony hall, to the cocktail hour, to the reception hall! I was so thankful for that too because boy or boy did it rain! Also, because I had a June wedding it was also hot outside so it felt nice that my guests somewhere cool to sit while they were waiting for the wedding to start.

Deciding to have our wedding at the Grand Ol' Barn was one of the first best decisions we made when wedding planning! We were going for elegant yet comfortable and the space is beautiful, rustic, elegant, and is one-stop shopping with catering and florals all offered in-house! The Grand Ol' Barn is an absolutely beautiful venue! Our recent wedding was breath-taking! The indoor ceremony was everything we expected and more, the big and spacious reception was also amazing, and the bridal and groom suites were very nice! Our coordinator was super helpful and professional. Shauna, the venue owner, was so sweet and kind to us! The food was DELICIOUS, very, very good, just a tad bit expensive. You must hire their caterer, which they do an amazing job, but it can get expensive with the more guests you have attending. Overall, this venue was beautiful and perfect for my husband and I! We were very pleased!

Whew!!!! Where do we start!?!? First and foremost, weddings can be very stressful, and there was plenty of that LOL. But once the music started playing for Skip (Groom) to enter, it was GAME ON! We got married on Friday, November 18th 2022, and we are still receiving texts and phone calls about how great the wedding was and how beautiful the wedding was! Shauna, the owner of The Grand Olā Barn, is simply amazing and is literally a friend for life. It all started when we came into town for our tasting back in July. We were lost in the parking lot, and Shauna happened to be coming into work and she helped us inside, and thatās where the customer experience started. We truly believe that it all starts with customer service and the customerās experience. And man did we get that and MORE!! Shauna took the time to share her vision and the reason why she decided to start The Grand Olā Barn. We got a taste of the story behind the bull in the groomsmen suite, to the history of the antiques, to the elegance of the reception area, all the way to the indoor swings. Each detail had a unique story behind it. Ashley, Shaunaās sister, assisted my wife with her floral ideas and was very nice and professional. Chef Conway!!!! The food was so great, that we were upset taking pictures with the guest because we wanted to eat more. We had several compliments from our guest about how good the food was. The brisket was sooooooo good. Weād recommend the brisket LOL. Our overall experience was just great that we would love to live that night all over again. Our wedding was outside, and the cocktail hour was inside. For the most part, there was enough room, but we did have a lot of guest attend. Getting married outside was a last-minute decision for us, but it truly worked out great and the weather warmed up for us. Yes, we said warmed up in Florida, we had a cold front come through that weekend lol. If we could give this venue 10 stars we would, but unfortunately, we are only aloud to give 5 stars. Customer service is really big for us and the overall service was just great! We hope that more newly-weds can enjoy their wedding at The Grand Olā Barn just as we did!!!-\tSkip and Moya

Yes, we said warmed up in Florida, we had a cold front come through that weekend lol. If we could give this venue 10 stars we would, but unfortunately, we are only aloud to give 5 stars. My now husband and I got married on Sunday and it was the most beautiful and perfect day ever! The venue is so gorgeous, we got lots of compliments and comments from our guest. The catering was delicious and had excellent service. The florist and bartender were professional and I highly recommend the month of coordinator. Regan helped us planning the small details prior to the wedding and ensuring the guest knew where to go (and of course the bridal party and ourselves too). She was always checking on us to ensure we had everything we needed. At the venue the bridal suite and grooms room to get ready were well stocked with supplies and items you may need the day of or possibly forgot to bring with you. We loved all the signs and included rentals that came with the venue too. We honestly, don't have anything negative to say about the venue, the staff, catering, floral or the month of coordinator at ALL! Wonderful experience and we cannot thank you enough for helping make our day a dream come true!! <3

Was married at the barn about two weeks ago on 5/22/22 and I can't say enough kind words about all the staff at the barn, everyone helped guide us through all the overwhelming things that go a long with wedding planning. Absolutely stunning venue which made for some beautiful photos that well cherish for a lifetime. The indoor swings that they recently added was a huge hit with our guests, no photo booth necessary! all of our questions were answered in a timely manner and the fact that I didn't have to worry about buying or making a lot of decor was a huge help. I ended doing Diy flowers just because of our own budget but I spoke to Ashley there florist and she was so sweet and still offered to help with the floating candles. The food was delicious, we went with the burger/pulled bbq buffet and left everyone full and satisfied. I've been to weddings previously where the serving sizes were on the small side but chef Lee and his staff accommodated all our requests. I had to change our head count quite a few times and we had 11 kids with a kids table set up! Huge success especially with keeping our 4 year old daughter busy so we could relax.And then there is Melinda, there day of coordinator. At first I wasn't going to add the extra expense but I am SO glad I did. She is worth it and I can honestly say that my wedding would have never gone so smoothly without her! She knows what she is doing, and is so genuinely kind and devoted to making sure everything is perfect. I trusted her with making my vision come to life and she succeeded my expectations on every level. She went above and beyond to set everything up for me while we're getting ready and starting photos, she helped make sure we didn't lose track of time and was still able to have all the moments and picture opportunities that were important to us. She even helped me make sure my girls looked great in my dress in the most professional way!! So grateful for this chick and would recommend her to any upcoming brides for a stress free day of! I truly can't say enough about how absolutely perfect our day was, I'm still in shock that it all just went the way I had hoped for!! The location of the barn is also perfect for if you have a lot of family traveling from outside of Florida like we did, we're locals but most of our families came from other states and turned it into a vacation as well with plenty of places to stay beach side only ten minutes from the venue. Shawna was the first person we met when we went to do our tour and was very informative, gave us great vendor recommendations and didn't pressure us into anything she was more so just like the guiding light in the huge world of wedding venues. Everyone at the barn was great to work with and you can tell that they all make a good team so Thank you Thank you Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for everyone that helped our day turn out so perfectly. This venue is beautiful and we really enjoyed having our wedding here. However, this venue was not the easiest to work with. We booked them while they were still under construction, but then they started changing things in our contract without us signing off on them. In the end, things were worked out, but for a while, it was really stressful. The food was delicious, the flowers were gorgeous, the venue took my breath away. The wedding planner Melinda saved me!! This venue is a family and they make you feel at home. We had our wedding at the barn in February of 2021. We signed our contract with the barn in February of 2020, before the pandemic hit and also before the barn had much of anything inside. At the time of signing it was simply just dust, boards, and a big vision by Shauna. We trusted Shauna and her desires to make the barn a beautiful masterpiece. While not all of her visions and dreams came true, it was still the most beautiful venue for our wedding. We loved how everything looked and how beautiful the barn turned out being. I will say, the planning process was hard for us with the barn, but I will preface by saying that everything wedding planning was more difficult and stressful for everyone in 2020 because of the pandemic. Please know that I am not about to blame anything on the barn/the staff, and that I would assume that it all is a result of struggles due to the pandemic. We had a hard time with planning for a few reasons:One, when we signed it wasn't all finished, and they had never had a single wedding in the venue before. With the ongoing changes with the state of Florida during the pandemic, some of things in our contract changed and we didn't end up getting some of those things that were originally promised. However, there wasn't anything that we were upset that we were missing, we had everything we wanted in the end and it was great.Two, communication seemingly got more difficult with the barn as we worked our way through the year. I have a feeling that this was 1. due to covid, but 2. due to the fact that they were so extremely busy. We did have to reach out a few times before getting a response, but we eventually got everything communicated. My advice to potential clients would be to be consistent with your communication attempts, try different forms of communication (email, call, text, etc.) and follow up! Don't become frustrated with the staff due to poor communication, there are hundreds of clients and only a few people to answer questions so give them some time to respond!Three, there were more fees in the end than we anticipated (but nothing in life comes free!) We wanted to ensure we had a COVID friendly wedding so we wanted to ensure there was proper spacing for our guests in the ceremony. We decided to use the Reception hall for our ceremony which required a \"flip fee\" that we were unaware of. It made sense in the end because they do include one set up and one tear down for each event, but our event required their staff to flip the room between the ceremony and reception, but also required their staff to stay there during the event to do so. It ended up being great, their staff was efficient and I think it maybe too 10 minutes for them to do!We appreciate Shauna and her staff's willingness to go above and beyond to meet our needs and make our day as beautiful as possible. Please don't think that any of my comments/review items were made to deter anyone from choosing this beautiful venue. If anything, I hope it makes you want it more because their service was excellent. Thank you GOB Fam!

This venue is brand new and is absolutely beautiful. If the stars were split I would give the venue 5 stars and the staff 1 Star. I have debated on writing a review for weeks (married 11/7/20). But every time someone asks me about my wedding process I cringe remembering how stressful communication with my venue was. And my husband is like, people should know. Frequently I would email 5 days after my emails to follow up and maybe get a response. Two weeks before the wedding I emailed the florist because she expressed confusion on our sweetheart table description last time we talked so I wanted to clarify and sort it out. She never responded, and I did not get what I asked for. Someone would email me and when I responded ghosts. It took 3.5 weeks (and me following up on every email 5 days later) to plan a date for me to do my 30 day out visit, which left my husband scrambling to get the day of work 5- days before. Now, this venue is new and I believe they have a lot of kinks to work out and in a year who know maybe the process will be a million times easier. But the amount of RUDE and attitude I consistently got does not make up for the lack of communication. Not everyone was rude, but rather than single people out I will be vague. The night of the wedding the lady there literally yelled at my mom that she will be locking the doors in 3 minutes if she was out or not. Their bar rolls and I was consistently told it would be moved into the reception area but there was no one there to move it, my flower arch (which, also not as we spoke about) was moved into my reception at 8pm, it started at 6pm. If I knew the stress this venue caused, despite the beauty, I would have passed. I also attempted to change me date and was basically told I would have to pay for an entire new date and still complete payment for my current date unless I got married mon-thu. Which, okay they canāt take the loss, I understand. But they also told me that if Covid shut the state down again before my weekend, where only essential businesses could open I would still be responsible for competing my payment for a date they are closed. They would try to ad fees for things that we never discussed, that were not in my contract. They actually ālostā my contract at one point and tried to get me to sign an updated one with new rulesš . I had it saved thank god. They would tell me one thing āin August I was told there would be a step down to the big oak tree no problem before my November ceremonyā, and October āomg haha thereās no way we could have that by your weddingā. Also is August, āthereās no way to bring an arch outside side weddings the ground isnāt levelā , then in September I get an email that āarch outside and chairs outside = a 200 fee for moving themā. I emailed asking about the arch outside and she responded no they canāt go out side. Lol then what did your email mean?? They need to be realistic with what they tell brides. There is no consistency and if asked I would tell anyone to pass it up or wait a few years until maybe someone new works there. We also left something there day of oops. But it was never found :/

I fell in love with the venue and staff immediately. As fate would have it, our original date became available, and we immediately booked. Caley and Shauna made wedding planning in a pinch effortless and easy. They were very responsive and understanding to my needs. Caley's expertise in the wedding sphere was quite helpful in planning a wedding in just six weeks. Wedding wedding during covid was difficult but our wedding turned out perfect! We were the venue's third wedding, and we could not have been happier with our choice. I would highly recommend this venue for brides like me looking for a stunning venue with a rustic barn feel with AIR CONDITIONING and stellar staff!

WORLDS GREATEST WEDDING VENUE. My goodness there isnāt enough wonderful things I can say about the Grand Ol Barn! I was their first bride and I can confidently say Shauna and Caley are absolute MIRACLE WORKERS! They went above and beyond to provide my husband and I with a perfect wedding. They were flexible with our crazy quirks, patient when we wanted to switch the seating layout last minute, endlessly thorough with all the moving details that accompany a COVID wedding, and incredibly kind with all our difficulties. The venue itself is gorgeous, spacious, and most importantly- fully air conditioned! (Not just portable air conditioning- which I noticed was a fine print problem with other FL venues). Shauna designed the space with weddings in mind so the bridal and groom suite are perfect. There is a separate cocktail/ceremony and reception space and they have all the decorations you could possibly need. I really cannot recommend this venue enough. Iāve had so many of our wedding guests reach out to say itās the best wedding venue they have ever seen. Brides- definitely go check it out! These girls are ready to make your wedding dreams a reality!

Shauna Altes (Owner) I am obsessed with weddings! I love the south, sweet tea, beautiful gatherings and creating events that stick with you for a lifetime. I like to make things special, wether its dinner parties or big soirees I always have a cake that I bake and a list of fun activities. I carried over my love of memory making into a gorgeous historic wedding venue that will serve as a catalyst for your memories for a long time to come!
