Olive BThis is an absolute beautiful venue. The background made the photographer happy. They are very accommodating, reasonably priced and very friendly. Easy to reach for questions or just getting inside to decorate. I would not hesitate to book again for another wedding.

Scott and Melissa were more than we could have ever hoped for in a venue! The Grand Black is absolutely gorgeous and this phenomenal couple goes above and beyond to make sure your big day is absolutely perfect! You can not find a better place and people in the area! 100% would recommend them to absolutely everyone!

This beautiful venue is an excellent blend of rustic & elegance. The interior feels very modern yet very welcoming. Perfect for large weddings! The owners are incredibly sweet and easy to work with. My fiancé and I were so impressed with how much was included in the package price!

Scott & Melissa Werkmeister (Owner) It all began with a dream!Hi! We’re Scott and Melissa Werkmeister, a small town couple who for years dreamed of opening a big, beautiful barn for events. After planning our oldest daughter’s wedding, we finally decided to take the plunge. We broke ground in January 2020 and finally The Grand Black was born! We strive to offer our community and surrounding areas a beautiful space to experience their most important and precious events. Life’s an event, make it Grand!
