The Grand Estate at Hidden Acres is an elegant wedding venue located in Freeport, PA. Nestled just 30 minutes from Pittsburgh, this manor is ideal for couples seeking a peaceful, secluded place to exchange their vows. Each element of this venue, from the romantic reception hall to the relaxing onsite accommodations, has been designed to give you and your loved ones a fairytale weekend. Family-owned and -operated, The Grand Estate at Hidden Acres features 15 acres of lush, private land for you to transform into your dream day. The Tuscan-style main house offers 10,000 square feet of space and features an elegant spiral staircase for you to make a memorable grand entrance for first looks. Delicate crystal chandeliers hang from the ceiling to give your special day an enchanting glow. Inside features five luxurious guest rooms for you and your guests to enjoy a relaxing overnight stay. Your ceremony will take place underneath the outdoor gazebo, while your guests watch from the landscaped lawn areas. After you exchange your vows, you and your loved ones will then move to cocktail hour around the pool and then to the luxurious reception tent for a the most memorable party, which offers over 5,500 square feet to dine and dance the night away. Up to 275 guests can be seated comfortably around the spacious dance floor and enjoy the newlyweds' celebration to the fullest. The venue's in-house team will work with you during your planning process to make sure everything goes smoothly on your big day. Tables, chairs, linens, and dinnerware will be provided and arranged into any formation you prefer. Up to 22 guests can stay onsite at the venue's bed-and-breakfast. The team will make sure each moment of your wedding weekend, from your rehearsal dinner to your day-after brunch, exceeds your expectations.

When my husband and I toured this venue, we knew immediately it was perfect for us. We went back to our car and discussed for about 5 minutes before we marched back up to the door to secure our spot! First, the venue itself is just absolutely beautiful. We chose to get married in the wooded area in the backyard, but there are several gorgeous ceremony options to choose from. The reception tent is gorgeous – everything is so sophisticated and elegant. What really sealed the deal for us was the ability to stay on the property in the estate house all weekend. We checked in Friday at noon and stayed until Sunday at noon. It really made the whole experience feel less rushed, and we loved being able to have our whole wedding party stay on property with us too. Jerrica and her team took care of everything – I actually spent several hours in the pool relaxing the afternoon before our wedding while they created the reception space of my dreams! They coordinated seamlessly with all of our vendors and helped us work around less-than-ideal weather to ensure that our day was perfect. Our guests keep raving about how beautiful the property was and how they hope to attend future weddings there (and my 10 year old niece has declared her wedding will be at The Grand Estate too!).

When my husband and I toured this venue, we were completely blown away. After a lengthy venue search, we had finally found the one that was perfect. They will recommend the best team of vendors who will help your day go smoothly along with their incredible staff. We would highly recommend their full weekend package if you are able. The family who owns this venue made it memorable from start to finish! They were so patient as I debated for 20 minutes on various napkin fold options, haha. They communicated with me regularly leading up to the wedding weekend to finalize the timeline, seating chart, etc. There was a bit of a miscommunication when they closed their tent rental company; I received conflicting emails about whether or not the centerpieces we were planning to rent would still be available. However, they were more than willing to refund us for the centerpieces and we made our own instead, so this became a non-issue.The whole wedding party enjoyed swimming in the heated pool the night before the wedding, and the hot breakfast buffet the morning of the wedding was awesome. They even prepared dairy-free and vegan options for us, as requested. There was a mishap on the wedding day where our DJ (who is NOT affiliated with The Grand Estate) was several hours late and missed our ceremony and cocktail hour. However, The Grand Estate did a great job working with my groom minutes before our ceremony to come up with a quick solution. They handled this so well, to the point where I literally didn't know anything had gone amiss until after the reception had ended. By the end of the wedding weekend, they really made us feel like family. If we could do it all again, we wouldn't change a thing (except the DJ!).

My husband and I got married at the Grand Estate on July 15, 2023. Every inch of this venue is gorgeous. There are so many spots to take pictures. Inside of the mansion is stunning, and we loved getting to stay there for the weekend.Our favorite part of the Grand Estate was the option to rent the house for the entire weekend. We checked in Friday at noon and stayed until Sunday. This slowed our weekend down and gave us plenty of opportunities to enjoy it. We spent Friday swimming and hanging out with our bridal party. We used the pool area to host our rehearsal dinner and spent the evening swimming and relaxing. It was so special to have this time with our closest friends.Our wedding day was perfect. Jerrica and the rest of the staff were so accommodating and friendly. They kept our day on track and solved any problems that occurred. We had a very hot July day. The venue staff ran around bringing out extra fans, giving me liquid iv, and even dabbing me with peppermint oil to stay cool.Even despite the killer heat, our guests had a fantastic time. We’ve heard nothing but praise for the venue. I’m praying one of my friends gets married here, so I can experience it from a guest’s point of view. If we could do it all over again, I’d book the Grand Estate in a heartbeat!

By far the most amazing wedding venue!! I just got married October 21st 2023 and I couldn’t even imagine a more perfect day! The staff is very helpful and made us truly feel like family, we stayed the whole weekend including having the rehearsal dinner, and everything was set up perfectly, the day of the wedding we got breakfast by the amazing staff and had so much room to get ready and the guys could do their own thing in the pool house! Every possible thing was picture perfect especially since they have a day of coordinator on sight to help with vendors, etc. We also had a very large bridal party with 28 total and they made everything run so smoothly and I could not recommend this venue enough, the staff truly are beyond amazing and this is no doubt the venue of our dreams 🤍

I knew very early on that this was one of my two top choices for our wedding venue. I was looking for a specific timeless venue and they offered it. I also loved that it was family run. I initially spoke to Aaron who was very helpful. Tia ended up being the one so give us a tour of the estate and go over things with us as Jerrica was on maternity leave. While my questions were always answered, there was a lot of miscommunication due to working with a few people vs. 1 person throughout the process. All of our concerns were addressed. We had the venue for the weekend and we had fun. The kids were able to enjoy the pool, our rehearsal went well, we had breakfast both Saturday and Sunday and everyone enjoyed that. We had a beautiful day and so many compliments on everything. While there were hiccups in the back end, guests never knew it and that’s the most important thing. We only had an issue with their only preferred transportation vendor. All other preferred vendors were fantastic and we were so happy we chose who we did. We loved our time at the estate and were so happy to celebrate there.

The venue was absolutely beautiful and the whole team made our experience seamless and as stress free as we could’ve hoped. Everyone was very professional and made us feel so welcome and like family. They were there every step of the way to answer questions throughout the planning process and helped to ensure the day went smoothly. My now husband & I got married at the Grand Estate on 07/22/23… we collectively have been trying to find the right words to describe our experience with this venue, Melanie, Jerrica, Tia, Aaron, & the family but a 5 star rating doesn’t do them justice. There are not enough words to describe how amazing this experience truly was. They collectively did an outstanding job & the dedication they showed not only to us & our wedding day but to our families & friends as well was impeccable. This venue went above & beyond for us & we live 8 hours away!! That in itself goes to show that the communication was on par! The love, kindness, compassion, & professionalism shown by them goes beyond being just a wedding venue. We can confidently say we left there with lifetime friends & extended family. They truly made us feel at home & worry free on our most magical day & weekend. This didn’t feel like a business transaction, it felt like they truly cared & care about providing us with the utmost respect & perfect wedding day. This venue is truly a dream come true & there are so many beautiful aspects between the chandelier from when you first walk in, to the gorgeous landscaping, & everything in between. We thankfully were able to haul our hockey team of a bridal party with us for the weekend to the Estate. We were able to utilize the pool Friday before & after our rehearsal dinner, we were served a stellar breakfast both Saturday & Sunday morning, & made a lifetime of memories with our loved ones. It’s now the middle of August & the compliments on the venue & staff are still rolling in. I can’t help but imagine that these compliments won’t come to an end. We are so honored to have had the opportunity to get married at The Grand Estate at Hidden Acres. It was truly a fairytale & every little girls (or boys) wish come true for a wedding day. A million thank you’s to the Estate, family, & staff. To say you knocked it out of the park is an understatement. We would recommend The Grand Estate at Hidden Acres to all couples who are looking to get married. There aren’t enough stars or words to say how special this venue is & was…. if we ever have vow renewals, we’ll be back here that’s for certain! Beyond 10/10 recommend!!! I have not been able to find the right words to properly express our experience. Our daughter and her now husbands’ wedding was one of the most breathtaking weddings ever. Of course I’m partial but almost two years later I still have quests telling me their wedding was one of the most beautiful they have ever attended. They had a wedding planned for two years then Covid hit. Needless to say everything changed. Their original venue & date were no longer an option. With that being said they stumbled upon The Grande Estate. When I say the venue switch was one good thing to come out of Covid, that is an understatement! From the moment we first visited & met the Waddell family until the moment we left Sunday after the wedding we were treated like family. I made the comment I felt like I was at my favorite Aunt’s house visiting for the weekend. We were right outside of Covid, however being at The Grande Estate I didn’t think about Covid or the unknown once. We were surrounding by all of our loved ones, the loving Waddell family celebrating a beautiful couple beginning their journey. Outside of the perfect wedding and core memories that came with that I personally have a memory I will never forget. Melanie took me aside, she said the most beautiful words to me, those words still bring tears to my eyes. Thank You! Needless to say this venue is 5+++++++ stars

I have not been able to find the right words to properly express our experience. Our daughter and her now husbands’ wedding was one of the most breathtaking weddings ever. So happy we chose to have our wedding at the Grand Estates. We got married on 11/5/22 and it was the PERFECT day. Weather was fabulous, the outdoor ceremony and cocktail hour were beautiful, and the reception tent was so much fun. I highly recommended having your rehearsal dinner there as well so that you have the place for the whole weekend, it makes logistics SO much easier. We picked this venue because 1) we loved that our wedding party could stay on site for two nights in a row, 2) we were so impressed with the family and venue staff, 3) they include so much into the price whereas other venues make you pay for additional things like tables, chairs, linens, flatware, etc. and 4) you honestly gave same a ton on decorations because the place is so beautiful on it's own. The venue team was very communicative and made the day run so smoothly, I felt so supported and cared for the whole day (because let's be honest, it's an overwhelming day!). Our guests had nothing but great things to say about their experience as well. You really can have it all here and I do think it was reasonable priced compared to other venues in the greater Pittsburgh region

Our guest are still raving over how gorgeous our venue was. The Grand Estate is truly elite in what they do! Not only are they a beautiful venue but they also offer the opportunity for couples to book the day before (perfect for setting up early and rehearsal dinner and the opportunity to stay after (to clean up without rushing as soon as the event ends). Their staff is amazing!! Extremely helpful, prompt and efficient! They kept everything running smoothly, had excellent communication, and answered all of our questions so everything went on without a hitch! We can’t thank them enough or say enough about their quality of service! 10/10, highly recommend!!!

Beautiful venue, stellar service, warm and welcoming family, and incredibly professional from beginning to end. Couldn't have imagined a more perfect experience for our special day.We stayed at the Grand Estate all weekend for our wedding on October 8th. Both houses, the grounds, and the reception tent were set up and looked magical when we first arrived. Melanie, Jerrica, Tia, and their team made us feel like family from the moment we walked through the door. The level of service and hospitality they provided through the entire weekend melted away our pre wedding anxiety. Their preparation and experience really shows with how flawlessly everything came together. You won't have to worry about a thing, as they already have a plan. The grounds were so perfectly maintained, we had trouble deciding which space we would use for photos. You honestly couldn't go wrong with any location on site.We would recommend The Grand Estate to anyone and everyone a thousand times over. Couldn't have imagined a more perfect experience for our special day.We stayed at the Grand Estate all weekend for our wedding on October 8th. They were on top of coordinating with all your other vendors and made the process so much less confusing and stressful than it could have been.The venue is also gorgeous. Right when my husband and I stepped foot on The Grand Estate property we loved it! We visited the venue in November on a cold, rainy day and still knew it was the place we wanted to get married. From the very beginning, the team at The Grand Estate was incredibly supportive, thorough, and helpful. They work with you to make the entire planning process smooth and easy while then making the wedding day magical. We stayed at The Grand the entire weekend with our family and wedding party which allowed us to have our rehearsal dinner, ceremony, and reception all onsite. On the morning of your wedding day and the morning after, they make a terrific breakfast for the people staying at the venue with you! Having the ability to stay the whole weekend made for a relaxing wedding and allowed us to spend more time with our closest family and friends. We received so many compliments from our guests about how much they enjoyed the entire wedding and how nice the venue is. The Grand Estate is a family run wedding venue and they make you feel like part of their family throughout the entire wedding process. We couldn’t recommend them enough and can guarantee they will make your wedding day so special!

6/11/2022: a day that was so memorable in so many different ways. Choosing to have our wedding at the Grand Estate was the absolute best decision we could have made. The staff went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable, and everything was perfect for our special day. From the beauty of the estate alone to the small touches such as chocolates on each bed, it truly made for a picture-perfect weekend. Jerrica and Tia treated us like family and were the best hosts we could have imagined. The views of the gazebo where the ceremony took place were absolutely breathtaking along with the stunning cocktail hour location around the pool area. The tent and reception area were the perfect space for our 200+ guests. I truly cannot say enough positive things about not only the day of the wedding but our entire weekend at The Grand Estate. I have since had so many people from my wedding reach out and rave about what a fabulous venue it was. I give so many props to Jerrica, Tia, and their family and staff who run it! It by far exceeded any and all expectations that we had!

This was the very first venue my now husband and I looked at! All other places we looked at afterwards just didn't compare. My husband was hoping for an outdoor wedding, and this all in one venue was 100% perfect. We arrived Friday at noon and didn't leave until Sunday at 10am. Jerrica and her family were so amazing to work with through the entire process and the day of nailed all the details and timing making sure everything went smoothly. Everything about the property is a fairy tale, removed from busy streets and noises. It's tucked away for your own private enchanted experience. Not to mention we got so lucky with the most perfect October day that allowed us to utilize all of the space that The Grand Estate had to offer. One thing that made us all so appreciative is that my grandmother who has a hard time getting around was taken care of the entire day as Jerrica made sure she got to each spot with ease - she was amazing!!! We were able to do everything as planned even in covid times. Could not hype The Grand Estate up enough - this was a dream venue!

From the moment we walk through those estate doors At our initial seeing, to the moment we walked out of those same doors as a married couple, we were given so much love by each and every person at the estate. I had the pleasure of working closely with Jerrica, Who bought every single little detail to life. And who has become a very special person who I will cherish forever! Though it rained on my day, I wouldn’t change a thing, because the workers at the grand estate were quick to give my guests umbrellas, water, and anything they needed to make them feel welcomed.If you are getting married soon and are looking for a venue, I highly highly recommend this location! The scenery is incredible, and the ceremony locations are endless! The estate Is clean and very well-kept, and will make you feel like royalty for the weekend!I could thank them every single day for the rest of my life, and it wouldn’t amount to the amount of gratitude I have!!!

Our day was perfect. The whole family at the estates knew exactly what to do from planning, to the day of and day after! First off let me say that place is gorgeous. We had a lot of jealous couples that wish they would have gotten married there. To the beautiful rooms we got to stay in and our bridal party stayed in, the man cave where the boys got ready and could watch their game, and then the beautiful set up outside where we got married…it was amazing. The tent for the reception was spectacular. I couldn’t have dreamed of a better day. We had nothing to worry about the day of, and that’s the best part. Jerrica and her sister Tia took care of it all. My mother in law had a scooter too and they took care of transferring her from the ceremony to the reception without any problems which was more appreciated than they even realize. Even last minute fixes to dresses, bustling us up, making sure we all had appetizers too so we didn’t starve. The night was perfect and even their uncle got in on it all with a fireworks show that I surprised the wife with. Everyone said it was better than a 4th of July show and I couldn’t agree more. Even the next morning we woke up to a wonderful breakfast and all of our decorations food and booze packed up and ready to go for us. My wife was so grateful to the grand estates that she cried as we left thanking them all. Thank you all again and we cannot wait to spend another night there in the future. The Grand Estate was a dream location to get married at! We opted to have the estate for the whole weekend and have our bridal party stay there with us. It was so nice not to have to coordinate transportation and making sure a bunch of people were where they needed to be on time. The staff was incredible and super helpful - Jerrica was a godsend, especially on the day of the wedding. I'm convinced she is psychic as she knew exactly when the weather was going to break and stop raining. She kept me calm and collected when there was a slight chance we would have to move the ceremony indoors due to rain. I give her credit for that fact that I felt ZERO stress on our wedding day (which was a huge surprise to me). Everything was visually stunning - I wish we could have utilized more of the outdoor locations for photos, but the weather prevented that. Luckily their indoor areas are just as beautiful as their outdoor ones so our photos are still breathtaking. Our wedding day was a dream and I give a lot of the credit for that to The Grand Estate at Hidden Acres.

The Grand Estate was a dream location to get married at! We opted to have the estate for the whole weekend and have our bridal party stay there with us. It was so nice not to have to coordinate transportation and making sure a bunch of people were where they needed to be on time. The staff was incredible and super helpful - Jerrica was a godsend, especially on the day of the wedding. I'm convinced she is psychic as she knew exactly when the weather was going to break and stop raining. She kept me calm and collected when there was a slight chance we would have to move the ceremony indoors due to rain. I give her credit for that fact that I felt ZERO stress on our wedding day (which was a huge surprise to me). Everything was visually stunning - I wish we could have utilized more of the outdoor locations for photos, but the weather prevented that. Luckily their indoor areas are just as beautiful as their outdoor ones so our photos are still breathtaking. Our wedding day was a dream and I give a lot of the credit for that to The Grand Estate at Hidden Acres.

Our son’s wedding was August 21, 2021 and we are still talking about what a beautiful weekend it was. Our weekend started at noon Friday. We were greeted by staff members who were busy preparing the venue for our big event. They were all friendly, courteous and appeared to enjoy their job. Any question or request we had was quickly answered & taken care of. Jerrica (wedding coordinator) definitely knows her job and was wonderful to work with. She keeps everyone on task, so no detail is missed. The venue itself is beautiful and well maintained. I highly recommend you choose the package that includes the wedding party & parents staying at the beautiful house & chalet. Each room is gorgeous & the chalet is a great place for the groom & his guys to stay. The pool area is absolutely beautiful & both the rehearsal dinner & cocktail hour were held there. As the mother of the groom, I took care of the rehearsal dinner. The staff did a nice job setting it up exactly as I requested. The guests were able to enjoy the pool after dinner. Everything was perfect. The reception tent is breathtaking. Every single detail was beautiful. I highly recommend renting the gold chairs, as they complete the picture. We were getting close to running out of one of our beer options & Tia graciously offered to run to the local beer distributor for us. That allowed us to stay at the reception. She was so kind & thoughtful. Since we stayed there both Friday & Saturday, breakfast was prepared by Tia & “Grandma” each morning. It was delicious & they were accommodating by making a special request for the bride & groom. They could not have been more kind. We all want to go back as it was truly a magical weekend for all. My son & his wife will return for a one night stay celebrating their 1st anniversary.

We were able to enjoy the beautiful estate property in preparation for our big day. The staff is incredibly accommodating and made sure that even with a slight chance of rain we were prepared to have our rehearsal dinner indoor or outdoor as well as our ceremony. We had a chance of sunshine during the time of the ceremony and nobody stressed out the bride about the possibility of rain but luckily we chose to have the ceremony outside and the sun shined through when we were speaking our vows. We knew at that moment that we had the perfect wedding day. The estate family works so hard to make every event go so smoothly. Everyone who helps there is so kind and accommodating. I enjoyed getting to know Jerrica and Tia throughout the process, they are so sweet and made sure we enjoyed our stay. The chandeliers at this venue are iconic but the reception tent was always my wedding dream! We were even able to bring our antique car to park in the yard because this family has a love for classic cars just like us. It was very special that we could have our family car there with us and the venue even had a garage space available for us to park it in. We look forward to coming back to the Grand Estate for an anniversary and for a reminder of where we said our vows. We want to genuinely thank the Grand estate family for everything they did for us to give us such a beautiful and memorable wedding experience.

STOP LOOKING ANYWHERE ELSE AND BOOK WITH GRAND ESTATE! I wish I could give Grand Estate more than 5 stars. WHAT AN AMAZING VENUE AND STAFF! We got engaged in 2018 and our original date was May 30, 2020. Unfortunately, due to COVID-19 and the restrictions we postponed our wedding to November. Mid-Summer we found out the state was enforcing more restrictions and our original was going to remain closed. We reached out to Jerrica about a weekend in November and she responded immediately. We toured the venue and FELL IN LOVE! I now truly believe everything happens for a reason because we were meant to have our wedding at Grand Estate. Jerrica was amazing to work with and seriously made my dream wedding come true. Throughout the planning process she was easily reachable and quickly returned emails and/or phone calls. She assisted with every detail including the ceremony set-up and reception layout. We got married on November 7, 2020- it was a perfect day with incredible weather! There was a wedding the night before and Jerrica and her staff quickly worked so hard to turnover the decorations and layout for our wedding. The girls got ready in the bridal suite located in mansion and it was the perfect space! We had such a fun time getting ready in the mansion and had plenty of space. My husband and groomsmen were able to swim in the pool that afternoon and got ready between the pool chalet and the basement (man cave) of the mansion. The ceremony was absolutely beautiful and with the weather being so nice our guests were able to enjoy cocktail hour around the pool. Jerrica and her husband assisted the photographers when we were taking pictures and drove us around on golf carts so we could take pictures throughout the property. The property is so beautiful! There are so many great locations for pictures. The reception was absolutely breathtaking. Jerrica took me down about an hour before the ceremony and it seriously brought tears to my eyes. Throughout the reception, Jerrica and Tia would check in and make sure everything was going according to plan. Our bridal party stayed overnight at the mansion and it was so much fun! It was a great way to end our wedding day! The next morning, the staff team cooked everyone breakfast! It was so nice to just sit back, relax, and talk about the wedding with everyone. So many people came up to me during the wedding and after and could not stop raving about the venue. EVERYONE LOVED IT! It was so nice to have everything at one location. I'm so happy we were able to use so much of the property because it truly is so beautiful. I clearly cannot rave about this venue more. I truly wish that day never ended.

Five stars is simply not enough! Every single part of my wedding was wonderful and easy and so enjoyable because of this wonderful venue and it's amazing owners and staff. At my first visit I knew this would be the perfect place for my big family. The owners are the most genuine people you'll meet who care so deeply about their couples - not only on their wedding day but throughout their marriage. They instantly felt like family and we are still talking about their warmth and friendliness. The wedding itself was just flawless. They took care of everything and thought of everything - even asking me how many beautiful fall leaves I'd like to have around the property (a lot, a little, none at all?) that was something I'd never thought of before, but they were all over it! They handled all my vendors without a single issue and all I had to do was get myself ready while I was able to completely trust them to get all the pieces into place. Other little things they did were so memorable too - Jerrica brought my husband and I drinks from the bar to our table after our grand entrance along with a full plates of food from the buffet. They also let us stay in the tent and hang out, just the family, after the reception was all over which was such an awesome time to just sit and reflect together with no pressure of having to get out of the space. The whole weekend was so fun and relaxed and well, perfect. The house is also so beautiful and we all loved staying there, we honestly didn't want to leave! The breakfasts were delicious, the beds super comfy, and there's plenty of space for everyone to roam around without feeling cramped. It was such a beautiful wedding, fun weekend, and so full of love and I simply cannot recommend this venue enough! Thank you Grand Estate!!!

I don’t know where to begin!! We had our daughter’s wedding on 9/13 (a Sunday) and The Grand Estate made it a dream come true for her in the midst of all the Covid chaos. We were so lucky to have found them early after our original venue had to cancel her June wedding due to Covid. The family is so warm and wonderful and the grounds are absolutely beautiful. Jerrica and her staff which is mostly family were so accommodating and literally took care of everything including helping with our set up, drying chairs as it rained all morning, making things just perfect even last minute changes and treated our wedding like it was one of her own family member’s wedding. Her mom helped me bustle my daughter’s dress and I am forever thankful for that! They were respectful of the precautions for Covid ...although we felt such a peace about everything which is just the vibe of this beautiful place. You feel like you are in the middle of a storybook. Honestly toward the end of the night when the lights were all twinkling and the candles were all lit it literally looked like a scene from a fairytale! My daughter said it was more than she could ever have dreamed of. We had soooo sooo many compliments on the beauty of this wedding and the delicious food! We used Hoffstotts and they were unbelievable! The chef Brian was so great to work with and his staff was on top of everything and the food was delicious and hot. We had mostly filet and they were prepared perfectly! We literally got complimented on how superb the wait staff was. The bartenders nailed their signature drinks and were professional and fast so lines were never long to the bars. We were sad to not have been able to have the entire weekend as it was already booked for a Saturday wedding and they offer so much with the guest house, pool area and main house and it would have been nice to spend more time there but at least we had our one day and it was truly magical. It was worth every penny and I would not change a thing! Our daughter and new son in law had the wedding of their dreams and it was The Grand Estate that made it!

Can I do 6 stars? The staff went above board to help us when Noah's went out of business...God's hand at work I think because Grand Estate was so much more than Noah's would have been! The Estate is amazing and it was like being at home. The wedding party stayed and had a wonderful weekend that made the wedding day even more special. I can't thank Melanie and her family enough for what they did for my baby girl on her wedding day! It really means so much to have amazing people participate in pulling off a fantastic wedding!!! When your daughter's wedding date is just a little over three weeks away and the venue she booked over a year ago informs you they can no longer honor their contract due the covid restrictions...What do you do.Well you try to help her implement plan B and when that is failing you quietly go to your room and have a panic attack. Then later that day by some small miracle an Instagram post is sent your way and her wedding date of 08/22 just became available at GORGEOUS venue. From my initial phone call to The Grand Estate at Hidden Acres to the day of the wedding, the owner Melanie Waddell and her family and staff were AMAZING to work with. Jeerica the Event Coordinator who also happens to be one of Melanie's daughters was with us every step of the way. She and the rest of the staff made sure our daughter and son in law's wedding day was perfect from beginning to end. Once you schedule your tour, I can guarantee the moment the venue comes into view you will totally agree it truly is a \" Grand Estate\". From the jaw dropping crystal chandeliers, spiral staircase, beautifully decorated bedrooms and the impeccable grounds you will not be disappointed. As a Covid bride, changing my venue three times, I was lucky enough to find this venue last minute. This venue gave me the most beautiful wedding I only dreamed of. Everything was perfection, from the landscapes to the INCREDIBLE staff. The family who owns this venue, are simply the most wonderful people we have ever met, they went above and beyond to make sure things were in order, and even helped one of our wedding guests find a new dress after hers had broke during the wedding!Through this wedding process I have cried and stressed more than I can count, but finding the Grand Estate was a light at the end of the tunnel. Thank you everyone who helped make our day perfection. .

As a Covid bride, changing my venue three times, I was lucky enough to find this venue last minute. This venue gave me the most beautiful wedding I only dreamed of. Everything was perfection, from the landscapes to the INCREDIBLE staff. The family who owns this venue, are simply the most wonderful people we have ever met, they went above and beyond to make sure things were in order, and even helped one of our wedding guests find a new dress after hers had broke during the wedding!Through this wedding process I have cried and stressed more than I can count, but finding the Grand Estate was a light at the end of the tunnel. What a fabulous venue!! So beautiful and the staff went above and beyond to make it perfect. As mother of the bride, I felt like I had a personal assistant all day making sure it was a perfect day. Jerrica one of the wedding coordinators right away offered to go pick him up and bring him to us. She drove almost an hour each way!!!! They saved our wedding and our night! Above all that they were diligent prepared and ready for anything which is exactly what someone needs on their day. Melanie, Arron, Tia, and Jerrica! There were never be enough words to describe our gratitude and appreciation for your venue and your family! I've been a wedding photographer for 11 years and this is by far one of the most beautiful venues I've ever been to. From the minute we met with Aaron and toured the estate, we couldn't get the venue out of our minds. The Waddell family went above and beyond on our big day, which was no easy task! It poured down rain on our wedding day and we had a large bridal party, but they worked with us to make sure the day went as smoothly as possible. They were there every step of the way, from holding umbrellas and shifting things around to make sure our ceremony space transitioned seamlessly into the reception - they truly did it all. Both of our families and the bridal party stayed at the venue from Friday to Sunday and that experience alone was truly worth the cost of the venue. They made us feel like family and it was so amazing getting to spend that time with our closest family and friends before and after our big day. The elegance and beauty of the reception tent is breathtaking and you can truly make it whatever you want. If you are looking for a venue that your guests will be talking about for years to come, then look no further than the Grand Estate at Hidden Acres!

We had our wedding at The Grand Estate at Hidden Acres on October 5th, 2019 and I couldn't imagine having it anywhere else. When my husband and I first got engaged, we were tossing around the idea of doing a destination wedding. At this point, we have been together for eight years and didn't know if the big, elaborate wedding was for us. When mentioning this to my parents, they were afraid we would regret that decision. So we went from thinking small, to thinking big. When searching for a venue to hold the amount of people we were going to invite, I just loved the charm I saw in pictures of this venue and boy did it translate in person. Aaron and his whole family were more than accommodating. When I first set up a tour, my whole family couldn't make it. SO it was just me. After I fell in love with the venue, I had to have Aaron walk through the whole thing for my family, as well, a separate time. That was just the first of many times Aaron demonstrated patience with us. Fast forward to the actual wedding weekend, we got the venue from Friday through Sunday. We were able to have our close friends and family (the people we would have invited to our destination wedding) stay with us the entire weekend. Rather than having one special day, we had an entire weekend filled that gave us memories to last a lifetime. This in itself made it worth it. AND they cooked us breakfast. Signed, sealed... they had me at breakfast buffet... With that being said, I cannot say enough great things about the Waddell family. They went above and beyond to make sure we had an unforgettable time, taking a lot of pressure off of us to figure out things.

From the first visit meeting Aaron and getting a tour I absolutely loved this venue! I had wanted somewhere to get away and do everything all in one place. This venue was perfect for that! Everything turned out absolutely beautifully and I couldn't have picked a better place to get married! My only wish would be that Aaron could have been there (unfortunately he was on a trip), because some of the staff running everything had never met us before and we had gotten comfortable with him! His Mother Melanie did take wonderful care of us though whenever she was there! Other than that, I would absolutely recommend this venue to any bride looking to have their fantasy wedding! We stayed at the Grand Estate all weekend with our families and bridal party which was super convenient. Looking back there is not a single thing that I would change. Aaron and Mel are very nice and easy to work with. They want your day to be perfect just as much as you do. If you're looking for a venue that gives you the outdoor/indoor/classy/romantic feel you will not be disappointed in booking the Grand Estate. We had our wedding at the Grand Estate last June. The Waddell family was amazing to work with and they made our day perfect. We loved that this venue is a family business and that they were so invested in making our day special. The grounds were beautiful for a summer wedding and the staff were so friendly. We stayed at the house for the weekend which made everything so easy and our family and friends had a great time in the house and pool. Our guests commented on how beautiful the estate was and how everything went seamlessly. This is the perfect upscale outdoor venue that you can put your own spin on. We did a mixture of renting decorations from classic tent and bringing our own. We also used Schneider photography, Gardas catering, Vic and Nicolenas pizza oven for rehearsal dinner, and traveling heart productions for other vendors which were all great. Thank you for our amazing wedding memories!

We had our wedding at the Grand Estate last June. The Waddell family was amazing to work with and they made our day perfect. We loved that this venue is a family business and that they were so invested in making our day special. The grounds were beautiful for a summer wedding and the staff were so friendly. We stayed at the house for the weekend which made everything so easy and our family and friends had a great time in the house and pool. Our guests commented on how beautiful the estate was and how everything went seamlessly. This is the perfect upscale outdoor venue that you can put your own spin on. We did a mixture of renting decorations from classic tent and bringing our own. We also used Schneider photography, Gardas catering, Vic and Nicolenas pizza oven for rehearsal dinner, and traveling heart productions for other vendors which were all great. Thank you for our amazing wedding memories!

The Grand Estate was everything we dreamed of for our wedding day! The staff was very attentive and accommodating especially for the fluctuating October weather. Our guests continue to complement the venue. The bridal suite was set up perfectly for a relaxing night after a long wedding day. We cannot wait to come back for our anniversary stay. My husband and I had the wedding of our dreams at the Grand Estate. Melanie, Aaron and the whole team were incredible. They went above and beyond to make sure we had the perfect day. We loved that we could stay at the Estate for the weekend and had a blast. The grounds are gorgeous and our family and friends can’t stop talking about how amazing it looked. The staff is very responsive to emails/calls and answered all of our questions quickly and effectively. We couldn’t imagine having our wedding anywhere else.

The Grand Estate and their wonderful staff gave us the wedding of our dreams and for that we are eternally grateful. We had a list of venues we wanted to look at, but booked The Estate without needing to look anywhere else. The grounds are beautiful, the house is immaculate and all the sites for the ceremony, cocktail hour, reception and pictures are absolutely stunning. Our guests are still complimenting us on the venue as it is completely different than the typical Pittsburgh venue. My wedding at The Grand Estate at Hidden Acres was better than I could've imagined! The venue itself is absolutely stunning and the owners/staff are EXCEPTIONAL. They know the business well, made the rehearsal and wedding day run smoothly, and catered to us to the whole night. They also had great recommendations for other vendors to use (catering, florists, DJs, etc.).The Grand Estate at Hidden Acres was the first and only venue my husband and I visited, and we absolutely fell in love with it. If we had to do it all over again, we'd definitely choose this venue! 5 STARS!!!

Absolutely loved this venue and the owners! My wedding was perfect because of the attention to detail and experience of the owners. Definitely wedding professionals! The ceremony space and reception tent were beautiful and spacious. We had to do very little (they decorate the spaces for you) which made the weekend less stressful! They also provide a recommended vendor list that made it extremely easy to find reputable vendors (And they are comfortable with the estate). Also, you can rent the estate for the entire weekend and have your rehearsal dinner there around the pool or in the pool house.

I can't express how wonderful and perfect the Grand Estate at Hidden Acres is. We had our daughters wedding here and it was breathtaking! The Estate inside and out is gorgeous. We have the most beautiful pictures of the wedding, everything was perfect! The bride, groom and wedding party moved in on Friday and stayed until Sunday. It was so wonderful they could spend such a memorable weekend together. They enjoyed the pool, the bocci court, the game room and spending the whole weekend without having to travel. Melanie, Tom and Aaron are amazing. Everyone at the Estate is very professional, kind, and extremely helpful. We had no worries because they are experts at what they do. They are very warm and wonderful to deal with. Any questions we had were answered immediately. The groom and his men had a wonderful time getting ready in the beautiful and comfortable chalet house. The bride and her ladies really enjoyed getting ready in the large, stunning bridal suite. We had a large bridal party of 22 and had so much room inside and out. We seriously could not of had a more perfect venue and highly recommend the Grand Estate at Hidden Acres. Trust me if you go and tour it you will not have to search further, you won't want to go anywhere else. There truly is no comparison, it is exquisite!!Thank you Grand Estate for the wonderful weekend, pictures, food and memories. You are the best!!!

I was married at The Grand Estate on May 19, 2018 and it was the most perfect day ever. The entire weekend was! Since the beginning (September 2016 is when I booked our day) Mel and Tom were so helpful in helping us plan every last detail, I can't even tell you how many emails I sent them. I really wanted our wedding to be as long as possible and a weekend event seemed like the best way to go. The Grand Estate is the perfect scenario, we arrived Friday where I could set up my own reception space and we had rehearsal there as well as dinner (amazing pizza) then we all stayed the night at the mansion and were married the next day! Melanie felt like family the entire weekend, her and her daughter helped carry my extremely long veil around and made sure it was perfect at all times. They even washed it after the ceremony in the sink for me while it was still attached to my head. I really loved the flexibility of having our wedding here and I wouldn't change a thing! Totally worth going to a walk through if you want your weekend to be a weekend long event of the year! All of our guests still talk about how amazing our wedding was and how beautiful the venue was. I wish I could have that day all over again! Thank you so much Mel, Tom and Aaron and the entire Grand Estate team for making my wedding dreams come true! The Grand Estate was the perfect venue for our daughter’s wedding! While trying to find a venue our daughter and son in law visited many different places. The Grand Estate was the first venue they visited and they fell in love with it, but still took the time to visit other venues. They had their checklist of must haves and The Grand Estate filled each and every one of them and after visiting many other places realized that not only did the Estate meet and exceed what they wanted, the other venues didn’t come close to what the Estate offers. The Grand Estate allowed our family and friends to gather in a place where we were made to feel as if it was our own home. In many ways it felt as if we were having the wedding in our own backyard, but the most beautiful backyard I have ever seen. It truly was a weekend event! We had the rehearsal dinner in the Chalet (comfortably fitting 40 people inside). The Estate took care of setting up all of the tables, chairs and linens and made sure that everything was in place before the caterer arrived on Friday night. They came back in the evening to take away the tables and chairs and made sure that everything was prepared for our guests to use the Chalet overnight. The entire bridal party stayed in the Estate overnight Friday and woke up to an amazing breakfast the next day before we all started getting ready. The attention that was given to everyone was just amazing. The owners and their staff never left our sides all day on Saturday as we prepared for the wedding. As we were all heading to the church for the ceremony the Grand Estate staff was still there by our sides sending us off and making sure that we were all ready. It was this type of attention that again made us feel like we were in our own home, being sent off with love.Once back to the Estate, after the ceremony, we were able to enjoy the rest of the evening without any worry. The Grand Estate team was everywhere, taking care of everyone. You won’t get this type of personal attention at any other wedding venue I can assure you of that! When we entered the tent it was nothing short of magical. As we greeted our guests we began to hear that it was one of the most beautiful wedding they had ever attended. Even before décor, flowers, lighting, etc the tent itself is simply stunning. We are are so thankful for everything the Grand Estate team did for us!!

I cannot say enough about this venue and the owners of the venue, Melanie and Tom, along with their family. The venue is absolutely stunning, every inch of it is just absolutely beautiful. I had my dream wedding at this venue and I mean the wedding was seriously breath taking. The mansion and tent are gorgeous and so so classy! You can make the tent into anything you want! You can make it as simple or glamorous as you want! Melanie and Tom were super amazing and even allowed us to put floral wreaths in the chandeliers in the tent. They want to help you in any way they can to make your dream wedding a reality. What is also amazing about this venue is that you can make it a wedding weekend. We had our rehearsal dinner at the estate in the Chalet on Friday and we stayed at the estate Friday and Saturday night. The estate provided a wonderful breakfast every morning, it was like waking up in your own home as the owners make this place feel like your home. Their hospitality is incredible. Tom and Melanie, along with their entire family, are some of the most genuine people I have ever met. They really helped in making our wedding absolutely perfect, everything ran so smoothly, and they made us all feel at home. If you want to have the wedding of your dreams and create life long friends then The Grand Estate at Hidden Acres is the right place for you! I 110% plan to go back and visit and take advantage of their Bed and Breakfast.

I cannot say enough about this venue and the owners of the venue, Melanie and Tom, along with their family. The venue is absolutely stunning, every inch of it is just absolutely beautiful. Having your wedding at The Grand Estate feels like you're having it in your own backyard, but without the stress! This venue is on my short list of favorites both as a wedding planner and a past bride. The venue is beautiful, extremely well maintained and clean. The staff offer incredible customer service, and are very attentive to both guest and client (and planner) needs. To top it all off, the owners Melanie and Tom and their family are some of the most kind and hard-working people that I've met within the industry. I highly recommend this location for your wedding or special event!

This venue is on my short list of favorites both as a wedding planner and a past bride. The venue is beautiful, extremely well maintained and clean. The Grand Estate at Hidden Acres could not have been any better as a wedding venue. The grounds are absolutely gorgeous, and the tent area for the reception is truly beautiful. Melanie and Tom, who run the venue, are absolutely wonderful. They are extremely receptive to any concerns you may have, and their experience is evident when dealing with them. During our first look, our photographer was stung by a bee and when we went back up to the house Melanie was aware it happened and was waiting with ice and medicine. One of our cousins had a broken leg and the estate made sure to bring out the golf cart to drive her from the ceremony site to the reception. These are just two examples of how accomodating and well prepared Melanie and Tom are. As a wedding coordinator, Melanie was incredible and although everyone can be a bit anxious on their wedding day, Melanie made us feel relaxed for the big day! We highly recommend booking the venue for multiple days as well. We had our rehearsal dinner at the venue next to the pool located by the guest house, and this created a very fun atomosphere to calm nerves the day prior to the wedding! The estate house is roomy and comfortable, and the bridal suite is nothing short of magical. Our wedding was more perfect than we could ever have dreamed, and The Grand Estate at Hidden Acres deserves a huge part of the credit. There was no detail left undone. The tent was so beautiful with the chandeliers and lights. I don't think I have ever seen a more beautiful venue. The grounds were so pretty and the out door pictures were spectacular. I was worried about small things getting done, and Mel told me to let her know what she could do to help, so I gave her my list. She took care of my details plus others I didn't even think of! We could not have asked for anything more perfect. This venue exceeded our expectations!

My daughter Jessica's wedding was 10/7/17, it was like a fairy tale come true. Mel, Tom their family and staff were wonderful! They treated us like family. The Grand Estate was the most perfect wedding venue! We cannot say enough positive things about our experience there. We had the entire estate from noon on Friday until checkout on Sunday morning, after the wedding, making the rehearsal and day of getting ready so easy and convenient for everyone! The owners, Mel and Bill, were absolutely wonderful to work with and were very invested in our ceremony (just like it was one of their own children). They did everything they could to make sure we had our dream wedding, and we sure did! Thank your for everything!

It was simply the perfect venue, the first and only venue we looked at because we knew it was the one. My husband and I were married here on Sept. 16 and had a wonderful experience from the moment we signed our contract. We were looking for an outdoor location in the Pittsburgh area that was not overly rustic, and was large enough to accommodate 300 guests comfortably. This venue offers an atmosphere that is elegant, yet comfortable with a refined charm that's far from stuffy - a rare balance to strike, but the Grand Estate does it unbelievably well!Many of our guests commented that it was the among the most beautiful weddings they've ever attended from the charming simplicity of the gazebo and the elegance of the sparkling chandeliers in the reception tent. While of course we wanted a beautiful wedding ceremony space and a large but still elegant reception space, it was also just as important to us that our guests enjoyed their entire experience - and we definitely achieved that here!Melanie and Tom were extremely supportive throughout the planning process and beyond. As a bride who's used to taking care of every little detail for myself and everyone else around me, it was such a pleasure (and a relief!) to know that Melanie and her staff anticipated every possible need during our wedding weekend. We loved staying at the house and opened it up also to our immediate family, including our young nieces and nephews. Melanie, Tom, Aaron, Jericha and the entire staff were so accommodating and welcoming to all of our family members from the moment we walked in the door on Friday to prepare for rehearsal.We booked the venue 14 months in advance, and while there were many, many phone calls and emails exchanged during that time, Melanie was always extremely understanding and thorough and made me feel like my calls were always welcomed, no matter how minor my questions were. She and her staff were reliable and always approachable - something that's extremely valuable for a busy bride!I recommend this venue for anyone looking for an elegant, tranquil and truly one of a kind wedding experience.

Melanie, feels like family to me and her dedication to each bride and making that day as special as she can is something you will never find at a hotel or the popular \"barn spots\". The tent will take your breathe away, its ceiling lined with silk draping and chandlers and then the outside openness to it its so incredible and relaxing. Everyone said I was the happiest bride they had ever seen! One because I married an amazing, wonderful man, but two because of Melanie, I had no worries as she made sure things were as we discussed. Oh, and bonus you get to stay in the most gorgeous bed and breakfast. There are not enough words in the dictionary to describe the happiness that was fulfilled on our wedding day because of the beautiful place and all the amazing/talented people that make it run! Held my wedding and reception here, and Melanie and her staff were there to guide us every step of the way, so no wedding planner is even needed! The grounds were beautiful, the rooms immaculate, and every detail was noticed by the staff. Melanie was there to put pins in my hair to keep the veil on, and drove us down to the pond in her golf cart. The staff put rose petals in the shape of a heart on our bed, and they made sure that everything and everyone was in the right place at the right time throughout the whole day and into the late night. There are a LOT of rules, but the wedding went off as perfectly as it could have been! A huge thank you to The Grand Estate and everyone working there!

My son’s wedding We want to start our review by saying that I’m surprised how the people who own this place are having good ratings regarding the wedding venue. The parents of the bride picked the venue and our son gave us the impression that it is a great venue where he is going to have the fairytale wedding. The wedding is supposed to take place on April 21, 2018. Even though it is going to be still cold to have this wedding under a tent, still we didn’t complain about it to make our son happy. Finally, 2 weeks ago, my son and his fiancée took me to see the venue. I was ok with it and I understand that they are both excited about decorating it and stuff, I respected what they wanted. I saw two small trailers at the time facing the venue. I didn’t pay lots of attention at them. I had to take my husband the following day to see the venue. I thought we were allowed finally to check the place where my first born is going to get married. I took him inside the tent with the approval on an old lady thinking she is the housekeeper. We found out later that she is the mother in law of the owner. Then, I realized why she was rude to me when I asked her to remove the two containers; actually, there was a third single blue container too. It happens that these containers are the toilets, one for women and one for men. The single one was a handicapped one. They are so narrow. Each holds two commodes and one sink. I didn’t even ask if the toilets flush, which I think they don’t. I was so surprised that I couldn’t believe my eyes. They were filthy from the inside. They claimed afterwards that they are not clean because they had a wedding the day before. The problem is that me and my husband couldn’t believe that there is going to be 250 guests as we thought at the wedding using only four commodes in a 7 hour reception. We couldn’t help thinking about the sanitary condition. The old lady was so rude to me when I was surprised about it and I was upset that the way she dealt with me and finally I told her that it is not a picnic, it is a wedding. My husband called the venue the following day to offer extra money for us to let at least some of our guests use the guest house or the mansion’s bathrooms that we are renting for the night before since we were hosting the rehearsal dinner at the venue…The mansion anyway is being used as bed and breakfast. He offered to pay somebody to clean these bathrooms frequently during the event in case one toilet is clogged or somebody throws up in the other one. They refused. So, my husband thought we might communicate with these people whom we never met and find a solution to this mess. Instead, the owners by the name of Melanie and Tom, whom I believe became very good friends with the bride’s parents, refused to communicate with us and threatened to break the contract if we ever visit the place before the wedding or even complain and they set rules on us that it will be strictly enforced that no one including us can use the guest house or the bed and breakfast bathrooms during the 7 hour ceremony. We are not going to our son’s wedding who just turned 23 on September 1 because of how bad is the sanitation and because of the owners attitude.

The Grand Estate was the absolute perfect venue we were looking for. We wanted an outdoor wedding but of course needed a good rain plan for back up and they were completely prepared for both scenarios. And the mansion itself is extremely well kept and so beautiful. We felt like a royal family staying the night there! The staff were incredible from the moment we set foot on the property until we left, any request was met with ease! They provided both our venue and acted as our day of coordinator, which made such a big difference! They made our wedding absolutely flawless and a dream come true! The Grand Estate is amazing! Not only is it a beautiful venue, but very cost effective and bypassed a lot of logistical headaches for guests and the wedding party. One of my favorite things about it was that our whole wedding party was able to stay at the venue the night before and after the wedding. That meant instead of seeing everyone for a just a few hours at the wedding, we got to spend the whole weekend with family. There were no complicated logistics to deal with. The guests too did not need to relocate after the ceremony. We also had a beautiful rehearsal dinner around the pool at the estate. The grounds, the accommodations, and the reception tent were all phenomenal. The staff, especially Melanie and Tom, put so much heart and attention into every detail of the wedding. I was so impressed with the extent to which they were hands on and kept things moving without a hitch. We even had to relocate the ceremony inside the tent last minute for sake of rain and they did a seamless job making it all work. My wife and I visited many venues in several states and this one was the obvious choice, head and shoulders above the alternatives. I can not recommend this venue highly enough!

First and foremost, the following is solely based upon our experience at the estate. That being said, I hope that it serves as a cautionary tale for anyone who is potentially considering hosting their wedding or any other event here. Do not be fooled by the beauty of the Estate, which I can assure you is entirely wasted on its current management. We had our wedding here on October 29, 2016 as well as spending the entire weekend there, and from the moment we stepped foot onto the estate, we and those of our friends and family staying in the house (~25 people) felt more like unwelcome house guests than well-paying customers.We spent over $13,000 to host our wedding weekend here, not including what we spend on outside vendors, decorations, etc. and I can say that even if it were free, I would still have flabbergasted by Melanie and her staff's lack of hospitality and disregard for customer service. Throughout our entire wedding reception, the only time that they checked in with us was Melanie getting into a disruptive and unprofessional verbal altercation with one of our bridesmaids at our sweetheart table over the money dance \"shots\

That being said, I hope that it serves as a cautionary tale for anyone who is potentially considering hosting their wedding or any other event here. Do not be fooled by the beauty of the Estate, which I can assure you is entirely wasted on its current management. We had our wedding here on October 29, 2016 as well as spending the entire weekend there, and from the moment we stepped foot onto the estate, we and those of our friends and family staying in the house (~25 people) felt more like unwelcome house guests than well-paying customers.We spent over $13,000 to host our wedding weekend here, not including what we spend on outside vendors, decorations, etc. and I can say that even if it were free, I would still have flabbergasted by Melanie and her staff's lack of hospitality and disregard for customer service. Throughout our entire wedding reception, the only time that they checked in with us was Melanie getting into a disruptive and unprofessional verbal altercation with one of our bridesmaids at our sweetheart table over the money dance \"shots\

If you want a venue where you become family with the owners this is your place! Tom and Melanie and there daughters were beyond what I could have imagined! Always helpful and so genuine. They are on top of helping your wedding be the best day you have always imagined. Mel was there for the rehearsal and through the day of to make sure nothing went wrong and to keep us running smoothly. I have so much respect and gratitude for all that they did and for giving us the opportunity to have our dream wedding at the estates! We put a lot of faith in being the first wedding ever to book with them and boy am I so glad I did! I not only had an amazing wedding but I also gained a great friendship in the Waddell's! The estates is beautiful! Seemed surreal to have the honor get to stay for the whole weekend with my family. We had so much fun and would recommend anyone getting married to rent the whole place for the weekend! It was so relaxing and I had no stress at all! I honestly have nothing bad to say!

We had our dream wedding at the Grand Estate! From the moment we went to look at the venue, we fell in love. I didn't want to have the wedding anywhere else. Melanie and Tom were very accommodating. Having a wedding here makes it more of an experience instead of just a one day/night thing. Staying in the mansion just adds to the elegance and glamour of it all. Our photos are fabulous. The guests also enjoyed taking photos at all the great spots on location. I wished we had rented the mansion out the following day too! As if I thought the wedding couldn't get any better, my parents surprised us with a firework display towards the end of the night. It was amazing! I am so happy with my wedding. It was truly the best day of my life. I would highly recommend having a wedding here to anyone, especially because it is so different from a typical wedding. I would also enjoy attending a wedding here and going back! We can't wait to go back for our anniversary stay! My family is considering holding other events here in the future. Absolutely Amazing I can not thank Melanie enough for making my sons proposal to his girlfriend PERFECT .. She decorated the gazebo with flowers candles and lights!! Emily and Tyler's wedding was on May 7 2016. Can't begin to even cover all of the amenities that were provided by the owners Tom and Melanie! There experience in the rental business made the transition into the Venue/ Bed and Breakfast just so professional, personal and down right Amazing! The Estate was the 1st venue Emily and Tyler looked at and it quickly became clear that The Estate \"Had It All\". From the beautiful grounds(awsome photo opportunities!) to the Georgeous Estate and Bed and Breakfast! Rooms for so many guests to stay the wedding nite! The swimming pool was beautiful! And the Gazebo for the Ceremony was exquisite! The Elegant and Huge Tent with chandeliers and dance floor and ambient lighting were such a beautiful setting for the reception! Melanie is the type of person who could immediately be your bestie! And question is too small and she answered my e-mails within the day! I couldn't say one thing that I didn't thoroughly enjoy and was pleasantly surprised at each and every meeting we had at the Estate. They just thought of Everything! The Harpist was just such a Touch of Class! And there is even a dog boarder close by for those who want their four legged friends in the wedding! The Florist Bettis Floral Design, Amazing! And the Caterer Suggestion Hostoffs Restaurand was just Too Die For! If you live in the Pittsburgh Area I highly recommend you take a look at The Grand Estate at Hidden Acres! Will never forget how we were treated with such care! Thank you So much Tom and Melanie for giving Emily the wedding of her Dreams!

Perfect Day! Perfect Venue! The Estate is truly perfect for weddings or any other event. The grounds are beautiful. The house was perfect for our family to stay and prepare for our daughters wedding. We woke up to a delicious breakfast that everybody loved (even our vegan daughter:) After the wedding was over, family members swam and when we got out of the pool Melanie had towels waiting for us!!!! It was not a planned swim so we were not prepared and we needed a lot of towels:) The tent area was so beautiful with the chandeliers and ceiling draping. The tent was large enough for food, dancing and a lounge area. The bride and groom even spent the wedding night there and they LOVED it. Like I said \"Perfect Day- Perfect Venue\" Thank you again for the wonderful service!!!!
