Bold North Cellars offers Carlos Creek Winery & 22 Northmen Brewing Co.âs spectacular natural surroundings for an extraordinary setting to an unforgettable wedding. Situated on 190 acres, with picturesque vistas at every turn, your special day will be remembered forever. We provide unique weddings with more inclusions than any other barn, winery or brewery in the state. We host only one wedding each day to ensure each celebration receives our full attention. The dayâs events can begin with a ceremony in our beautiful natural outdoor location. You and your guests will be surrounded by mature trees, providing shade and dappled sunlight. Your guests will continue the celebration with a social hour on our outdoor, three-tiered Creekside Terrace, serving beer and wine from our built-in bar overlooking the vineyard. As you make your way to the reception, The Grand Hall is adorned in sophisticated dark earthy tones with accents of wine barrels, custom stone fireplace and a built-in bar. The Grand Hall is large enough to host up to 350 of your closest friends and family. My wedding day was the most perfect day and it was all thanks to Carlos Creek. I was able to be stress free for the majority of the wedding planning including the weeks leading up to our wedding and the day of! Carlos Creek thinks of everything and makes sure its couples are ready for the day and able to focus on their wedding and the people in attendance. One of the built in costs was a wedding planner. Our assigned planner was Kelsey and I will never be able to say enough positive things about our experience with her! She was very communicative and knew what she was doing. She thought of every little detail and made sure I was confident in my decisions and had thought of all possibilities. I can truly not put into words how thankful we are that we chose Carlos Creek as our wedding venue. We had the most perfect day and can't thank them enough for it!

Bold North Cellars did a wonderful job providing us with such a beautiful and perfect venue. The inclusions are great and having Britt as our wedding coordinator was amazing! So many of our guests said that we had the best wedding food and such a beautiful venue! We did happy hour first before the ceremony, and if you aren't traditional, I would highly recommend!

She was always available to answer a quick email and did a fantastic job coordinating everything on the day of the wedding. Every element of the day went smoothly, and our guests are still talking about what a beautiful venue BNC is. I can't thank the staff enough for going out of their way to make it a special day for us. Britt was so organized, which made it so much easier for Nate and I during the planning process. We were living in Ohio for the past year and unable to make it to Alexandria very often, and Britt was super accommodating and met via Zoom when possible. I would absolutely recommend having your wedding at Bold North Cellars.

If youâre looking for a truly stress free and beautiful venue for your wedding this is your place. We blindly booked BNC at the beginning of the pandemic when we werenât able to visit first which was very nerve racking but ended up being the best decision ever! All of the included vendors did an incredible job. Our day could not have been any more perfect! We had so many compliments from our guests that everything was so beautiful and put together and that the food was fantastic. I wish I could give more than 5 stars!

If youâre looking for a truly stress free and beautiful venue for your wedding this is your place. We blindly booked BNC at the beginning of the pandemic when we werenât able to visit first which was very nerve racking but ended up being the best decision ever! All of the included vendors did an incredible job. Our day could not have been any more perfect! We had so many compliments from our guests that everything was so beautiful and put together and that the food was fantastic. I wish I could give more than 5 stars!

My husband and I were lucky enough to work with the amazing team at Bold North Cellars and we were not disappointed!! Due to covid, financial reasons, being in school, etc, we had been putting off having our wedding but we entered in to the wedding giveaway at Bold North Cellars and won second prize!! Second prize was originally a rehearsal dinner but they so generously upped the prize to a micro wedding! Throughout the course of our wedding planning, Kelsey, Emma and Kasey were so attentive, answered every question we had, and truly made planning a breeze. Emails, texts and calls were always answered in a timely manner so we were able to continue all of your planning with no worries. We were told all costs upfront so there were no surprises which made budgeting a lot easier. They helped us find the perfect photographer, DJ, and the sampling day they offer made choosing food and beverages fun and easy. On the day of our wedding their level of organization and being able to coordinate everything so seamlessly while dealing with both of our families was amazing! We also got to work with Mary Baumann for all of our floral arrangements and they couldn't have turned out more perfect, she was great to work with. My husband and I didn't have much outside help planning and figuring out all of the details for our wedding, but working with the beautiful ladies at Bold North made us feel like we weren't alone. I would highly recommend this venue for your wedding, whether it is small like ours or big they will make it the perfect day! Our wedding day was a day we will remember and cherish for the rest of our lives together. We still have family and friends telling us it was one of the best weddings they've been to. We can't thank our venue enough for making our wedding day so beautiful.

Our wedding day was magical thanks to Bold North Cellars and our coordinator, Kelsey Gibbons. We wanted a 'destination' wedding without a plane trip and Carlos Creek/BNC delivered. Planning a wedding during COVID was tricky. While we were lucky to not have to re-plan our day it was still a stressful time. Day-to-day changes had us questioning everything but Kelsey went above and beyond to keep us up-to-date on mandates and luckily just a week before our wedding the governor lifted restrictions. The 'all inclusive' concept is excellent especially for a couple who is not located in Alexandria. We were given 3 options for decor (all classy and trendy) and could still bring additional decor if we wanted to. The best part: they set it up AND take it down!! No need to hire your aunts or family members!Now for the food, personally this is the only area I would like to see improvement on. You do not have an option for catering, you must use The Depot. We did passed appetizers which were delicious but VERY pricey. For dinner we did a plated meal and selected 3 options which were good but the price did not match the quality. Overall the food was just OK and the price seemed over the top. Also - shuttle. If you are planning a large wedding with mostly out of town guests make sure to discuss this in detail early with your coordinator, as the one shuttle will only fit 50 guests TOTAL. We did find ways to make it work. Many drove TO the venue then shuttles back to hotels since you are able to leave cars overnight. Overall our wedding day was BEAUTIFUL and I wouldn't change a thing about it, it went off without a hitch! Our friends and family are still RAVING about what a great venue this was and how much fun they had celebrating with us on the dance floor - which was packed from 8PM - Midnight! Biggest reasons I would book BNC again: - Coordinator included (Kelsey was great!) - All-inclusive decor with set up and take down included - Mary Baumann (florist who works with BNC) OUT DID herself on my flowers - I cried when I saw my bouquet! - The Natural Cathedral (outdoor ceremony space) is BREATHTAKING! (just make sure you have a plan for those who have a tough time walking as they need to get through grass to get there!)- Everyone is still talking about our day, the venue and our dance floor. Things I would consider more closely prior to booking:- Cost. This venue is not cheap. While a lot is included they make up for it in the food and beverage costs. At times I did feel 'nickle and dimed'.

Our experience getting married at Bold North Cellars was spectacular! The outdoor natural cathedral was gorgeous and all the guests commented that they had never seen anything like it. We had a small wedding of 75 guests and used the Creekside Room attached to The Grand Hall. It is a romantic, beautiful space will polished wood on the walls and the look of antique horse stalls down the hallways. Glass doors at the end of the Creekside Room keep the space light and airy. We had social hour on the Creekside Terrace where drinks and appetizers were served. Another benefit is that we had access to the vineyard for some very beautiful golden hour photos. We did a 36\" sparker tunnel outside and the backdrop of the winery grounds was perfect.Kelsey Gibbons was our coordinator and she was extremely attentive to details, was always in contact over email, phone or to help us plan over zoom calls during the pandemic. Kelsey went above and beyond to make our day perfect and smooth. Kelsey is professional, fun and energetic. She helped us make key decisions and stay positive throughout it all!The staff for our wedding day reception, dinner and dance was so friendly and helpful.Definitely rent the golf cart to make the day easy on you and your photographer. We also rented the 22 Northmen Brewery Loft located on 22 Bold Cellars grounds for our rehearsal dinner. That space is also so beautiful, has professional staff and perfect for what we needed. The woodfire pizza is amazing.

We were so incredibly impressed with the whole experience with Bold North Cellars! Our coordinator Kelsey did a phenomenal job at keeping everything in order. Planning felt effortless and we have no idea how the day of would have gone without her. The all inclusiveness really makes the difference in having a stress free day. Thinking back to considering other venues that do not have a coordinator, I can't imagine how people do it without someone like Kelsey. The venue itself was gorgeous and all of our guests raved about how wonderful every aspect of the day was. We came up from the Twin Cities and everyone enjoyed the mini getaway.

We were so incredibly impressed with the whole experience with Bold North Cellars! Our coordinator Kelsey did a phenomenal job at keeping everything in order. Planning felt effortless and we have no idea how the day of would have gone without her. The all inclusiveness really makes the difference in having a stress free day. Thinking back to considering other venues that do not have a coordinator, I can't imagine how people do it without someone like Kelsey. The venue itself was gorgeous and all of our guests raved about how wonderful every aspect of the day was. We came up from the Twin Cities and everyone enjoyed the mini getaway.

As a same sex couple getting married in Central Minnesota â we had some reservations as to what venues would actually welcome us. But the staff at Carlos Creek didnât just welcome us with open arms, they gave us the best day of our lives. First of all, the staff is SUPERB!! Paige Meier, who was our personal wedding manger, is one of the most experienced, detail oriented, and hands-on-managers you could hope to work with. She and her staff are simply the best people we couldâve asked for to help plan and then execute our wedding. From start to finish, Paige and her team was there to advise, guide and provide solutions for our many requests. Since the team do over 60 weddings a year, they have it down. Nothing was missed and they gave us many great ideas for things we didnât even think about. And ⊠they are SO SO nice and always in communication with you! They wanted our day to be as amazing as we did and they exceeded our expectations. Now the venue! It is beyond beautiful. We had guests coming from New York City and around the world and they all raved about how stunning the entire place was â the outdoor wedding location, the entire grounds, the sophisticated reception hall. Even if you choose to get married inside, the outstanding fireplace location is amazing. We went with all greenery and no flowers and the staff did an outstanding job. Even the food was great and of course the wine is chic and fun! They also work with so many vendors â they have tons of suggestions if you are ever in a pinch or have a unique request! Somehow, this venue encompassed all of those in one beautiful, absolutely perfect day. We didn't need to worry about a thing and the entire event went off without a hitch! They also have a wedding coordinator who works with you individually and helps keep all of your plans on track! We would do our wedding day all over again at Carlos Creek Winery! The venue, staff, and entire process was outstanding. They truly go above and beyond to ensure your day is exactly how you envision it (and then some)! Carlos Creek provides you with your very own wedding planner to coordinate all of the details onsite for the rehearsal dinner and day of the wedding. This was extremely beneficial for my husband and I, who weren't too into planning out the smaller details. Melissa, our wedding coordinator, really understood the theme we were going for and was always five steps ahead of us for all of the details and planning. She was timely, professional, personable, and understanding. The flow of the entire two days with the rehearsal dinner and wedding was perfect. Our guests RAVED about the experience and how well the timing was planned out from the ceremony, to happy hour, to dinner, to dancing, and more food. They were very accommodating with our special dietary restrictions for myself and certain guests. A lot of our guests went back to the winery the day after, or have been since our wedding as a trip with friends/family. One of the awesome perks as well is the included bus shuttle for guests which made it seamless for them to travel to/from the wedding. If you are looking for a well organized, stunning venue to have your wedding - don't look any further!

One of my favorite features is the natural cathedral outdoor ceremony space. I shot a wedding on the hottest day of the year, and we were all comfortable under the shade of those beautiful trees! (Plus the air conditioning in the reception space is amaazzzing!)The staff is so wonderful and helpful and yay for a golf cart for those sunset vineyard photos!

My husband and I were married at Carlos Creek Winery in November. Overall, we both had positive experiences with the winery and are so happy with how our ceremony and reception turned out! There were lots of great things about getting married at CCW. Some of the aspects we really liked were the venue itself (we opted for an indoor ceremony by the fireplace and it was absolutely gorgeous!) , the floral work (Mary is so amazing!! We did some custom floral and loved it!), the fact that the winery does most of the decorating, and that it was overall a hands-off experience for us on our wedding day. The food was good for catering for a large crowd, and the upgrade to popovers was definitely worth it! It was also fun having the wine specifically from CCW, and having a shuttle service through the winery was also a big plus - we knew that our guests would have a safe ride home after the wedding. There are also some things that could be improved. We felt that communication wasn't the best, and my husband and I had a fairly unpleasant experience at the bar in the tasting room the day of our wedding. A bartender refused to serve us wine since we didn't have our IDs or credit card on us - we were literally in our wedding gown/suit and the bride/groom drink free the day of the wedding. That's understandable (it's a legal matter, sure) but the bartender was extremely snide in her remarks and very off-putting - basically just laughed in our faces. Also, we felt that at the end of the night we were rushed out the door and the employee was not very kind in letting us know that we really needed to get a move on. Just know that when they want you out by a certain time, you can't be a minute over without being threatened with extra charges. That being said, we wouldn't have changed having our wedding at Carlos Creek, and we certainly still recommend this venue!

DUDE!!! What an amazing wedding venue!!! We had an absolute dream day, celebrating our wedding at Carlos Creek Winery last July. Beginning with the gorgeous natural cathedral outside, our ceremony was magic (I didn't expect that). What originally sold us was the layout of the inside, which proved to be more epic than we imagined. Everyone kept telling us how much fun they had. The venue layout is so comfortable because guests will feel so comfortable. There is so much to do and the entertainment is non-stop. Amazing layout!!!Jaimee & Paige at Carlos Creek Winery were fantastic! As soon as we visited, we knew we had to have our wedding there. If you are considering a MN destination experience, this is the place. Our guests had an absolute blast because there was so much to do and the venue was perfect for our dance and especially our ceremony. The staff there was so loving and went above and beyond to make our dream wedding become a reality. Thank you CARLOS CREEK!!! Our wedding was LIT!!!

We had many, many positive comments from guests about how beautiful Carlos Creek was as a venue. Everything from food to decorations to ceremony site...EVERYTHING was so amazing. Couldn't have asked for anything better!

They made the entire planning process and wedding day go so smoothly! Everything was beautiful, the staff was fantastic, and our coordinator was the best! We received so many compliments from our guests about how great everything was and we have the winery to thank for that! I was told repeatedly how calm I seemed and I also give credit to the winery for taking care of everything and giving me no reason to worry about a thing! It wa so nice having everything in one spot and there are so many little extras included in the venue price that make it so worthwhile! We loved our wedding and wouldn't change a thing about it!

Carlos Creek was the most beautiful location to have a wedding. We got so many compliments from our guests on the venue, location, and little details. Carlos Creek is so ready for every weather situation, but our day turned out perfectly! We worked with Jaimee. She was always ready and willing to answer my many questions right away, and did so many things for us the day of! From talking to our DJ to running to find a sign I forgot 30 seconds before the ceremony, she was on top of it. She was so professional and flexible and was able to accomodate all of my ideas with ease! Absolutely wonderful experience! I would highly recommend Carlos Creek for your wedding.

Carlos Creek Winery is very lucky to have her and we feel just as lucky to have had her share in our wedding day! Whatever you are paying her, double it!!!Additionally Mary Baumann (Master Floral Designer) is an absolute artist and a true master of her craft! From the greenery decor on the arbor in the natural cathedral, the floral in the reception, the guests and head table, each layer and tiny detail was displayed with such care and perfection that my bride and I both teared up sneaking a peek before the reception started. She also helped keep me calm right before the first look and we are so happy she was able to share and see the moment as I first saw my beautiful bride! Thank you Mary!!I could write a novel when it comes to Carlos Creek Winery. It is everything we wanted in a wedding venue and then some. Through the process our wedding coordinator was very helpful and answered all my questions. The day of the wedding, I didn't have to do anything Melissa set up all my extra decorations I brought and took them down at the end of the night. The venue was also beautiful!

Carlos Creek caters in and our food was incredible-- shocking they don't make it at the venue. Not only is Carlos Creek Winery a beautiful site for both a ceremony and reception, but the team there is amazing! \r\rMy husband and I wanted to find a venue that was affordable but also beautiful & unique. In addition, we wanted it to be as easy and stress-free for us as possible - not exactly an easy task - but Carlos Creek was exactly what we were looking for! \r\rAll decorations (centerpieces, etc) were included in the space rental. They also handled the catering and cake. And these are NOT cheap-looking decorations or mediocre food. The food was UNBELIEVABLE! So many guests at our wedding commented on just how amazing the food was. The decor was the perfect mix of classy but simple and modern - not over-the-top - which is exactly what we were looking for.\r\rThere is also a great bridal room space to get ready in, so we were able to bring in two hairstyles to do my hair and makeup and the bridesmaids' hair right at the winery. It made the day that much more relaxing to just be able to hang out there in the morning and not drive all over. We ordered some Minnescato from the winery for morning mimosas, brought in breakfast and lunch, and had such a fun time getting ready.\r\rWe were assigned a wedding coordinator that assisted us with every detail beginning months in advance of the wedding. Our coordinator, Paige, answered every one of my emails (with my random questions) within a day of receiving them. Paige was super helpful during the rehearsal and of course during the actual wedding day. She was there first thing in the morning and on-site the whole day until after it was over - constantly checking in, making sure we had what we needed while we were getting ready, and then, during the event itself, Paige made sure everything happened exactly as we had planned. \r\rI had a couple of custom requests that I had asked about (for example - I was wondering if I could get a wine barrel top with the CCW brand on it to be used as our \"guest book\"), and they made it happen.\r\rOverall, it was just so nice to know that everything was taken care of, and we didn't have to worry about anything on our wedding day. We were able to just relax and enjoy ourselves. Everyone had a blast, and it was in large part due to the team at Carlos Creek. I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a place that's a little off the beaten path, but still maintains high standards of quality and service. You definitely can't go wrong choosing Carlos Creek!

She is flexible, detail-orientated, very accommodating, approachable, and personable. Michelle and all the others at the winery were friendly and wonderful to work with. We had no reservations or worries as the day came closer or even on the day because we felt supported and understood by the wedding coordination team. We had the most relaxed, wonderful, fun, and celebratory wedding day! The ceremony was outside in The Natural Cathedral, a perfect outside location on a warm summery evening. Then we had a social hour with refreshments on the patio. Our reception was in The Stables. The soft lighting and intimate setting gave an rustic, but elegant and romantic feel. The food was also excellent! Everything about our day made us happy. We just loved it!

I can not say enough good things about this place. Everyone is so incredibly nice and accommodating- it was a dream wedding come true. The grounds are gorgeous all season long. We were planning on having an outdoor wedding among the vines, but when Oct 6th rolled around, it was a bit too cold. We did pictures outside that were incredible and then we moved the ceremony inside at the last second. I was sad at first, but when I saw the set-up it took my breath away. So intimate near the huge stone fireplace in the reception hall- it was romantic with candlelight and by the fire. The staff is incredible, so nice and made sure everything was on point. Michelle, the wedding coordinator is utterly fabulous- she emails you leading up to the day months in advance, answers all your questions, has great recommendations and is just THE best. We had an absolutely fabulous wedding day.

Carlos Creek Winery for our wedding venue was perfect and amazing! The only thing I would have changed would have been, changing our wedding date to one that was in their off season. This was there would not have been a minimum we would have had to meet.

Carlos Creek Winery was an absolutely perfect wedding venue! Everything was beautiful and Michelle Bailey was excellent to work with. As a testement to their quality, my baker mistakingly thought our wedding was on Saturday (it was on Friday) and did not show up when she said she would. Carlos Creek staff contacted her and made sure she got there in time for our reception. I didn't even find out about this problem until the end of the evening after everything went smoothly! Also, the food was delicious. We got so many compliments!

The venue is beautiful and a good value. The food was delicious and the wine selection can't be beat. That being said, get everything in writing, especially details. The communication through staff is non-exsistant. Double check everything before your ceremony and reception. Telling the event director will not be enough.

Carlos creek was such a joy to work with. Michelle, the Director of Events was amazing. She answered all of our questions in a timely manner and really did all she could to give us our prefect day! The staff was very professional the day of the wedding and great overall.

My fiance and I chose to have our wedding at Carlos Creek. I have family from ND, and thought it would make it less stressful than driving to the Minneapolis/St. Paul area. We also thought it would be great for everyone to get away from it all. \rWe filled out our contract putting $500 down as a deposit. \rCarlos Creek offers a 'vendor weekend', where the bride, groom, and whomever they choose to bring with (parents, children, friends) can come along. They have the event center decorated as they would at a wedding reception. The facility is filled with photographers, table decorators, florists, etc. They also have the one caterer that they allow with a sampling of his menu options. \rUpon arrival, we thought we would relax and have a glass of wine before the event. We arrived early, about 5:52. The invitation said 6:30, but they have a tasting room. We figured that it would be a perfect chance to share the place with my Mom and her husband. My fiance and I had travelled 2 hours to get there. My mom and her husband, 4. When we walked into the tasting room, the bartender looked at us with disgust and asked if we were there for the wedding event. We said yes. He said this room closes in 8 minutes. \rWe walked around looking at what they had for sale, taking in what had just happened. I've worked retail and food service. I was shocked. \rThen wandered accross into the event center. Not easy, considering my mom was in a wheel chair, and it was Feb in MN.\rAt the event center, it was mass chaos. Everyone was running around, they were bringing in food, setting up tables, vacuuming, and a sense in the air of stress, to say the least. Nobody was smiling, nobody was happy. The attitude was, why are you here? Other couples walked in, with wine in hand. Apparently they were served by someone else??? At this point, it was 6:05. The event 'officially' starts in 25 minutes. Yes, we are early, but really, still setting up? In my opinion tables and chairs should have been set up hours ago. It's not the peak season. It's February in MN. It's cold. The only person that seemed friendly was the person vacuuming. \rOnce 6:30 rolled around, we were all standing around. There was no announcement thanking us for coming. It was just - get inside. We signed in. Got nametags. Proceeding to check out the vendors. The table decorations were great, the floral arrangements were great. They even had bridal and bridesmaid dresses. The photographers had wonderful stuff. \rHowever, The FOOD VENDOR DID NOT HAVE SILVERWARE. As soon as we had stolen silverware from the cake people, they made an announcement that they were touring the outside choices for wedding ceremony - hmmm food or tour of snowy wedding venues. At this time, the gal making the announcement stated that she was Michelle, the gal I'd spoken to several times on the phone, but had never met. I found it odd and frustrating the she NEVER INTRODUCED HERSELF. In any job, if you spend a lot of time on the phone with various accounts, meeting them in person is important. WE WERE CONSIDERING SPENDING $20,000 WITH THEM AND THEY DID NOT CARE WHO WE WERE.\rConversations with local vendors (florists, photos, etc.) stated they had changed hands several times. That THE STAFF IS NOT TREATED WELL. THERE IS A SENSE OF UNCERTAINTY. \rWE DID NOT GET OUR DEPOSIT BACK. THATS FINE. WE WENT TO THE WILDS IN PRIOR LAKE. THEY WERE WONDERFUL!!!!

The only person that seemed friendly was the person vacuuming. \rOnce 6:30 rolled around, we were all standing around. There was no announcement thanking us for coming. It was just - get inside. We signed in. Got nametags. Proceeding to check out the vendors. The table decorations were great, the floral arrangements were great. They even had bridal and bridesmaid dresses. The photographers had wonderful stuff. \rHowever, The FOOD VENDOR DID NOT HAVE SILVERWARE. As soon as we had stolen silverware from the cake people, they made an announcement that they were touring the outside choices for wedding ceremony - hmmm food or tour of snowy wedding venues. At this time, the gal making the announcement stated that she was Michelle, the gal I'd spoken to several times on the phone, but had never met. I found it odd and frustrating the she NEVER INTRODUCED HERSELF. In any job, if you spend a lot of time on the phone with various accounts, meeting them in person is important. WE WERE CONSIDERING SPENDING $20,000 WITH THEM AND THEY DID NOT CARE WHO WE WERE.\rConversations with local vendors (florists, photos, etc.) stated they had changed hands several times. That THE STAFF IS NOT TREATED WELL. THERE IS A SENSE OF UNCERTAINTY. \rWE DID NOT GET OUR DEPOSIT BACK. THATS FINE. WE WENT TO THE WILDS IN PRIOR LAKE. THEY WERE WONDERFUL!!!!
