The Grande At Kennesaw Reviews
Tamara Hales(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 31-03-2012 My wedding was simply perfect thanks to the Grande. It was stress free and easy because of their expertes. They help every vision I had for my wedding come true. They took care of everything flowers, food, cake, DJ and much more They helped to organize all my meetings with all the other vendors for the wedding. It was so easy. I just told them what I wanted and my budget and they made it happen. If they thought it would go over budget, they even had recommendations of how to still have it some form.\r\rWhen the day finally arrived it was amazing. So many brides talk about the drama at a wedding, but there wasn't any that I knew of. My job was to have a perfect day and it was. I was a little suprised at how calm I was, but it was because everything was taken care of. I don't have any complaints. The flowers and decorations we perfect. The staff was helpful and kind. Everyone that came talked about how great everyone was. The day was simply perfect. Anyone would be lucky to have their Wedding at the Grande. They know what they are doing and I was truly blessed to find them. Reviewed on 17-04-2012
Rebecca Jones(bride)4 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 16-02-2013 The Grande was so helpful throughout my entire planning and day of process. They were available through email every single day. As a bride that means a lot to you in the final days up to your wedding because you have a new question every single day!!! The grounds were beautiful even in the winter. I was able to have every single thing done there, all I had to provide was the officiant and the photographer. We also were able to bring in our own alcohol which saved A LOT of money!! All in all I would reccommend The Grande to anyone and everyone. Reviewed on 14-03-2013
Sherri Bucher(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 04-05-2012 What a stress free wedding! Michaelann did a great job organizing our special day. Laura did an amazing job on the floral and Chef Bobby did a great job with the food! Everyone enjoyed the menu. DJ Jon kept the party going and played everything we asked him too. Thank you soooo much to all the staff at the Grande. The service was excellent as well. Reviewed on 22-05-2012
Stefanie Reed(bride)3 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 21-05-2011 I liked the fact that everything was included, besides the photographer. I did not go with one that the venue recommends and I was left a little disappointed. I had some issues with the hotel, I chose the Garden Hilton in and there was some confusion with the transportation that was offered to the venue. I thought that the coordinator was good the day of, however she did take her time and I wanted to get things moving. I was highly upset that they lost my Mrs. hanger that my sister delivered along with some homemade decorations, such as an ampersand sign to be hung between the bride and groom chairs. They stated that they \"didn't know what to do with them\" I mean give me a break. The owners were behind the scenes and we never really saw them. The florist was amazing and she did exactly what I wanted. I never met with the caterer we did it all through email. The dj listened mostly to what I wanted, not completely and I had given him a spreadsheet of the music I wanted.\r\r Overall it went well, they do have some room for improvement. Sandra Breaden(parent)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 06-08-2011 The Grande at Kennesaw has an amazing staff who will work with you to make your dream come true! Our daughter had the loveliest wedding we could imagine and there isn't one thing we would change. So happy with the service, quality of food, flowers, DJ, etc. The best part is everything is included in their comprehensive price package so there is no need to run around town trying to put all the pieces together. Thank you Grande, for an amazing and memorable day! Reviewed on 15-10-2011
Kelly Monroe(bride)3 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 02-04-2011 I am a DIY (do it yourself) kinda bride so I sewed my bridesmaid's dresses, designed and printed the invitations and programs, etc for our wedding. But when it came to the actual day it seemed much for fitting for the DJ, caterer, wedding coordinator, florist and photographer to know and work well together; most of the Atlanta area models this and there is little to no flexibility. At the Grande, all but the photographer is decided and they do work great together. They have recommended photographers (one of which we did pick and he was FANTASTIC!! Randall Granier). \r\rThe only problem was you only met the wedding coordinator during your walk-through of the property (that is if she happened to be the actual one assigned to you...there are 2-3 coordinators...we had the \"head\" or \"lead\" coordinator). Don't get the name confused though...I had to hunt them down to get them their payments like they didn't want my money and they didn't seem to talk to each other much or know of any changes. However, the day of she was there coordinating at every turn letting me know when it was time to do what. The 3 hours is really rushed...\r\rMy husband and I laugh now when people ask us about the cater that came with the package. Yes his food was AMAZING but it's no wonder why they don't let him near the guests or potential bridal party until the LAST meeting (1 month before the wedding) he has no social skills and was rude during our meeting. He fought us about giving us a tasting and told us he'd charge. But like I said the food was GREAT so if you get the chance to avoid ever meeting him...go with that :)\r\rThe florist was great (Laura) and everything was exactly like we wanted it for our outdoor wedding of 100, except there were not enough seats for everyone when it was time to eat...when everyone is getting their food at the same time, I assumed there would be enough for everyone to be seated so I never thought to ask (I had a few people mention it to me).\r\rThe DJ (Jon) was a BLESSING to work with...we emailed him a list of songs we really wanted during the reception and as far as I recall, I heard them all and they were mixed in exceptionally well. The activities and games he did were great! He got kids all the way to my grandparents involved and it was a BLAST! \r Reviewed on 23-05-2011
Kristine Pruss(bride)4 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 21-08-2010 They handled all the decor and food the day of the wedding; when the cake topper slipped off my wedding cake, they made sure to call the cake place and made them come back to fix it. It poured rain the day of the wedding and they quickly moved it indoors. The landscaping there is beautiful but for some reason there were patched of dead grass already even though it was still summer. The flowers were gorgeous and the day went perfectly. Christine Finn(bride)4 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 19-11-2008 My husband and I were married with a private ceromony in Hawaii and wanted a local venue for a celebration when we returned to share with our friends and family and the Grande fit the bill. They worked with us on a limited budget, the setting was beautiful and the food was out of this world. I only wish I would have been able to keep the flower arrangements that we paid so much for. The DJ did a great job keeping the small childern entertained while we enjoyed our meal by playing games with them. The service was almost too great as I had to continue to get a new glass of wine because they would pick it up everytime I put it down for 2 minutes Reviewed on 26-05-2010
