The Graycliff is a wedding venue located in Moonachie, New Jersey that has helped thousands of couples create their dream wedding. The Graycliff offers multiple event spaces that can be used in combination for your special day. The Greenhouse is used for hosting intimate affairs such as, bridal and baby showers, and it is used in combination with our other spaces for our lavish cocktail hours. The Embassy is a beautifully lit space with sparkling chandeliers, the Forum has glistening spotlights highlighting a lovely marble dance floor, and lastly, our Grand Ballroom is our largest room that features two stunning gazebos, a spacious dance floor, and an extensive bar area. The property also has a Grecian-style gazebo that can be used for an outdoor ceremony, first look, or evening photos.

We got married Saturday, October 14 and it rained (of course) but I can’t say enough great things about the Graycliff! We were planning on having our ceremony outdoors but due to the rain we had it inside in our reception room and the staff was able to quickly turn it around into a great party room! There is also a bus stop from Port Authority across the street for any city living guests without a car. Guests were raving about the amount of food at cocktail hour and dinner as the venue provided all of it! Including the open bar! The transition from guests arriving to the ceremony to cocktail hour and then reception was SO SMOOTH. No awkward waiting to be served drinks or standing around. Our maitre’d John was provided by the venue and he was EXCELLENT he made sure we were fed and always had a drink in our hands 😊

I don’t know where to begin with how absolutely phenomenal The Graycliff is. From the very beginning, working with Emily on everything made me feel so at ease and truly made me feel like I could put all of my trust into her and The Graycliff. The family that owns this place truly does an amazing job and makes sure everything is perfect down to the littlest things. The day of our wedding our maître d’ was John. To say he was astonishing would be an understatement. Anything we needed at all through the night he was there in a heartbeat. Their food is top notch and people haven’t stopped raving about how amazing everything was. Everything was perfect and I can honestly say nothing went wrong that day and I am so beyond thankful for The Graycliff and their staff.

First off, the food was fantastic. The staff was first class. Went above and beyond not it’s for us, but for our guests. Made sure we had a beautiful ceremony. Got everyone in sync and everything coordinated well. The reception…food served well and everything tasted good, from the cocktail hour, dinner and of course, dessert. Cleaned up and put everything away once the reception had finished. Fantastic experience.

Was at an event there last night and I walked up to the waitress after going to restroom to say there is a guy smoking in the hall right outside the party. She goes that’s the owner we can’t say anything to him. Lots of little kids there asthmatic and people Just don’t want to breath that in. There is a no smoking indoors law for a reason.

The Graycliff experience and venue is for sure something we are glad we went with. They were extremely helpful throughout the entirety of our planning process. Their communication with us was always timely and they made it very easy for us to visualize the day. From showing us the room we were going to be utilizing for the cocktail hour, to the room the reception was going to be held in. They gave us both the indoor and outdoor option and a walk through of how both would work. When we got the chance to do our food tasting, we were blown away by the actual spread but the quality and taste of all the food. They really do have so much to offer and will make sure that your wedding day turns out the very best. We want to give high praise and a huge thank you to our Maitre'd Emily. She was extremely helpful and went above and beyond for us the entire time. Overall, we highly recommend the venue and we can only hope that you get the experience we got with Emily and the entire Graycliff staff.

100% RECOMMEND. There are not enough words to describe how happy we are with our wedding on 9/6/19. We booked a year & half out & attended 2 open houses to meet vendors & see exactly what a wedding would look there. Cathy & Michelle were quick to answer any questions or concerns we had leading up to that time. They handled of all of our day of coordination & setting the place up exactly like we wanted. While the rain ruined our plans for an outdoor ceremony, they transformed our room for the ceremony seamlessly. Our Maitre’D John made sure that Randy & I had everything we needed at all times & went above & beyond (like cleaning the groom’s white jacket several times & preparing a special plate of food for flower girl). Everyone complimented the food, service & speedy bartenders. It was our favorite night ever! We couldn’t possibly thank them enough.

We had our wedding at The Graycliff on June 1, 2019. We had a guest list of 200 people & our maitre d', John, was absolutely phenomenal. But let me rewind a bit, during our tour they answered all our questions, the owner sat down to work out pricing with us and that's the thing - he WORKED with our budget. The pricing we received for the service and quality we were provided was honestly a steal. They set up our cake through Palermo Bakery & we had such a great time at our cake tasting and most importantly our food tasting at The Graycliff. Everything they did for us was a memory that will last a lifetime, from the initial consultation, to food tasting to our very special day. John and his team went above and beyond to make sure our day was perfect and stress free. All my guests were impressed by the food, venue, drinks and service. I cannot thank The Graycliff and their team enough for making our special day truly memorable and a 5 Star day all around (even with the minor mishaps - which had nothing to do with them). I strongly recommend any and every bride & groom to consider The Graycliff for their big day or any event! They have a life long customer/friend with me and my husband. Thank you!! - The Hincapies

From Michelle, who helped us plan the entire event, Tony, who originally gave us the tour, and helped us book our day, to John and Katherine, our Maitre D’s on the day, as well as everyone else, the staff there goes above and beyond! The way they set up our decorations was perfect. The pianist they provided at cocktail hour was wonderful. The food was outstanding, the beverages were delicious, the service was impeccable, the venue is beautiful, and all at an affordable price!! Our family and friends can’t stop raving about how awesome everything was, and neither can we! We would recommend this place a thousand times over!! 5 stars isn’t enough to describe this venue!! My husband and I can’t thank them enough for helping make our day even more special.

Greatest bang for your buck! Our day was incredible! they made it so easy that I had zero stress the day of the wedding. They took care of everything for us. They set up all the centerpieces exactly how I wanted them and they even took care of a special memory table that I wanted. People at our reception are still talking about the amazing cocktail hour! The mashed potato bar is to die for! The drinks were great! The venue itself was beautiful and they were always available to answer any questions I had months before. It was wonderful and I would recommend The Graycliff to anyone who needs a venue for an event.

There are not enough positive words for the experience we had with the Graycliff! I’ll start from the beginning. My husband and I visited 22 wedding venues in the tri-state area and nothing even came close to what we felt at the Graycliff. Our first visit, we received a tour and met with Michelle - who is the sweetest person ever to deal with when it came to plan our wedding! She broke down the pricing for us, it was very reasonable compared to some of the other venues we saw. Working with Michelle made the entire experience fun. I am Russian, and my husband is half Italian, so we were looking for a venue that would accommodate our cultures - especially one that would provide TONS of food. Tony the owner was great to work with as well, they truly cared about making me feel like I got everything I wanted. They were able to swap out some menu options to fit exactly what we wanted, and they were even able to incorporate some of our Russian type foods. Day of wedding: Our limo was escorted to the side of building directly to the bridal suite, so no one would know the bride/groom had arrived. The bridal room was filled with food and the maître d was constantly around to make sure we had everything and to get us drinks. During the cocktail hour we went to take pictures, all the attendants escorting us were communicating via ear pieces to make sure it was a clear path to the photo location, that no one was there, and bride wouldn’t be bombarded with guests. It was all so discreet and smooth - as if they were trained government operatives! The amount of food at cocktail hour was ridiculous, and everything was perfectly decorated. It also wasn’t just filler decorated food, there were truly tons of DELICIOUS food options for every kind of taste. The pianist that the venue provided was the perfect touch as well. We had bought all the additional food options they offered, and they were honestly worth every penny. Dinner was great! We had heard from multiple guests that the steaks were cooked to each guest’s perfect specifications, which rarely happens at big wedding. No one left our wedding hungry. Dessert was amazing, the fire show was quick but well worth it! There was only 1 bar in the room but there were multiple bartenders and there was never ever a line for drinks - servers brought drinks to the tables as well. We had 120 guests, and no one was ever cramped. Michelle worked with me on table sizes to accommodate all my seating arrangement requests. The dance floor looked deceivingly small, but it was the perfect size for all our guests to dance on. The rectangular shape was also very neat and worked out great! As the bride, you want to feel special on your wedding day and The Graycliff did not disappoint. They accommodated the Russian traditions and had all the things we requested ready so that everything went smoothly. We cannot thank everyone enough at The Graycliff for the most perfect wedding we had! The whole day went by too fast and I did not want it to end. If I had to redo it, I would 100000% pick the Graycliff again. I wish we lived closer, so we could have more events there! We had our wedding reception on August 4. The staff, waiters, and waitresses were outstanding. Some of our guest were quite early, but the Graycliff was happy to provide them with drinks early on. The cocktail hour was wonderful. Service during the meal was excellent. Mike was a great bartender. Michele gave us outstanding service prior to the big day. We had guests from Europe, professors from different universities, and people from all age brackets. Many said it was the best wedding they had ever attended.Best bang for the buck.

thats PERFECT....all the staff..food..location...everything .amazingthey have a lot of patience with all the process of the wedding... the venue is gorgeous... sooo much food...great taste...i would go back 10 times in there and do iy again...

I had never been to the Graycliff before my bridal shower was thrown there. We had the room that looked like a greenhouse with the glass ceiling and walls. The room itself was beautiful! There was an outdoor space attached as well so people could go inside and outside. The food was delicious and there was a large variety to choose from. Jackie was the \"captain\" of the shower and she was amazing. She was so accommodating and happy to help. The mimosas were delicious, but on the weaker side. My only suggestion would be to make them a little stronger but otherwise everything was perfect!

We were married on April 7, 2018 and had our reception at the Graycliff. Kathy and the rest of the team were a pleasure to work with and our Maitre'D, John (both of them, there were two!!) were above phenomenal. There were a few snafoo's but nothing that took away from the reception or the perfection of the reception itself. There was only one major issue which we believe had to do with one particular nameless staff member whom we informed management about. Kathy, John & John (our Maitre'D's) and the rest of the team where absolutely amazing and we cannot thank them enough for all their hard work and dedication. We highly recommend them and will use them again in the future for other events.

I don't even know where to begin. I had my wedding on September 1, 2017 and I must say I am in awe!!! I booked with the Graycliff because of its customer service, great food and package. However, I was reluctant and slightly embarrassed by the lack of upgrades. I expressed all of my concerns and the staff did what was necessary to make me feel confident in my decision of having my wedding there. I walked into my reception and was amazed!!!! My entire experience was awesome!!!!! I can't thank Tony, Kathy, Michelle, Ahmed and our Matre D (I can't recall his name) for knocking me off my feet! I can not say enough good things about the graycliff! if you get married there...make sure you have John as your maitre d!! I cannot say enough good things about The Graycliff. From the first time I walked in, I immediately liked it. It is a very warm and comfortable place with very welcoming employees. It is also one of the few remaining venues that offers a free food tasting before you book. We were also invited to a lovely open house so we could see how the room looked for a wedding, sample food and drink and meet with other vendors from the area. \r\rNow the wedding. They set everything up for me exactly as I asked without me having to lift a finger. My matre de John went above and beyond to make my husband and I happy. The amount of food at cocktail hour was unbelievable and the service was top notch. You couldn't ask for better, even at the Venetian. My guests were very happy and so were we. Thank you Graycliff!

My husband, family, friends, and I could not be happier with The Graycliff. Everyone there was always professional, patient, and helpful from the day we visited until the day of our wedding. They even set up and displayed our wedding programs, seating cards/table, and all the little extras like votives, giveaways, basket of flip-flops, and placed my late dad's framed photo on an easel near our sweetheart table. These gestures extremely helped to alleviate the stress of the-day-before-the wedding preparations. Finally, it was the day! Everything was great! The staff lead by our maître D was on point! All flowed very smoothly. My husband and I received many compliments how great our wedding was: the beautiful place/ballroom; the abundance of delicious food during the cocktail hour; and the professional and accommodating staff. My best friend plans to renew her vows here because she and her husband loved the place so much. At the end of the night, the whole wait staff were all present to make sure all our personal items were gathered and even assisted to help load it in our vehicles. If you are planning a special event, especially a wedding, you must choose The Graycliff! They are very affordable, flexible, courteous, and just overall great! Did I mention how great cocktail hour was?!? Thank you Graycliff for making our special day stress-free and a success!

My husband and I had our ceremony and reception at The Graycliff in the same room. After the ceremony, they sent everyone to the cocktail area to flip the room into the reception room. It was flawless and looked absolutely beautiful. They didn't forget anything we had brought to be put out. The maître-de was extremely calming and made sure everything and everyone was in place when it needed to be. We even had an issue with the flowers showing up late, and he got the phone number and took care of everything so I could relax before the ceremony. My husband and I just got married on June 14th, 2014 and our reception was at the Graycliff, From the first meeting with Cathy, the Banquet Manager, to booking to scheduling the food tasting and cake tasting, all the way up to the actual reception we could not have asked for better service. The entire staff, from Cathy to Tony to John to Charlie, helped us with scheduling our rehearsal dinner on the premises, and made our families feel like all they had to do was have a great time. The food was phenomenal; there are LOTS of choices for cocktail hour and the actual dinner. We had our reception in the Grand Ballroom, with our cocktail hour in the Greenhouse, and they provided us with many options for linen colors, napkin colors, and we were able to design the room however we saw fit. The ballroom is very pretty and spacious. The bartenders were very friendly and the waiters/servers were phenomenal. They, also, did a wonderful job at refunding us money when out of town guests canceled the week of; we called them and they asked us to come in and we had our money back in two days. They were, also, very professional and allowed my grandmother to make my wedding cake; in fact, when we delivered the cake the day before they were incredibly helpful. It was an incredible day, and a HUGE thank you to the Graycliff for their role in it!

Had my wedding at The Graycliff and I loved it! It is absolutely elegant, gorgeous, breathtaking! The service was great, food amazing in taste and abundance, and my guests all had great things to say about it. If I could give it more than 5 stars I would!

We just had our wedding at the Graycliff. We had really good experience with the staff there. They are quite helpful and are always trying to accommodate to our needs. Also the food at the Graycliff is very good - not the wedding reception food you usually get but yummy food our guests actually enjoy. The staff made sure that I got to eat something too as the bride. Overall, I highly recommend the Graycliff!

This was my reception venue and I can't tell you how wonderfully the staff was! All of my guest commented on the pleasant staffs and over the top atmosphere of the venue. Our Matradee John was absolute blessing!!! He made our entire reception absolutely magical. The food was delouse and abundant. The bar never had a line and there was cocktail waitresses walking around making sure your glass was always full. I would recommend the venue to all of my family and friends!

I Highly recommend the Graycliff! They were amazing!! The food was delicious! As soon as we arrived they took us to the bridal suite, i was already running late but i wanted to have a pic in our room before all the guest were in there. Even though we were running late they allow us a few minutes for the pictures. Also my husband grandfather was not able to get into the bridal suite but the staff was great and brought them food to their table, even though cocktail hour was over. The room was great, they were able to work with me even 2 days before the wedding when i had to make some sitting changes. Everybody was amazed about the food i had lots of compliments of the good service. They made us feel like royalty. The fire show was great but all the desserts were even better..... Until the very last minute they got in touch with our hotel shuttle.... Amazing i wish i was able to enjoy the cocktail hour but i was running late.... I cant wait to be a guest at one of the Graycliff's wedding. We were also able to use the projector for some pictures with no charge :)

The Graycliff really exceeded all of our expectations. All of our guests loved the food, the service was wonderful, and our maitre d' John was really helpful and courteous. We had a budget that they worked with, but still provided the best service one could expect at their wedding. The statues outside made for some beautiful photos. Cathy was absloutely fabulous she delivered on everything we requsted. \rThe staff the day of the wedding was great and the food was outstanding. We saw a lot of different reception sites and the Graycliff was the best fit for having both the ceremony and reception. They were very nice and helped us plan a perfect wedding going over every detail with great care. Because it was a June wedding other venues were charging $$$$, but the Graycliff worked with our budget and gave us plenty of options. They happily answered all our questions and made us feel at ease for the big day. The day of the wedding was fantastic and a breeze. I was a diy bride without a professional planner and the staff at the Graycliff took care of everything; I didnt have to worry about anything they set up every last diy project beautifully. We were invited for a full menu tasting and tried everything from appetizers to entrees before the big day. Our guests are still talking about how great the food, and cocktails were for our wedding. They helped us pick out the perfect menu for cocktail hour and reception,no one left hungry. Everyone particularly loved the cheese carvings and the ice sculptures. Our maitre d made us feel like royalty and kept the entire bridal party on schedule. The staff were very courteous and professional the entire time, our guests all felt like VIPs. We took amazing photos in their newly renovated garden area, it was the perfect setting for both modern and traditional photos. There was another event on our day and we did not even notice, it was like the whole venue was just for us. I highly recommend the Graycliff to all diy brides on a budget who want an elegant dream wedding.

My husband and I just gotwas married on Saturday, June 2. We had the most perfect wedding! The Graycliff made our day the best day of our lives. Our maitre d' John was simply amazing. He was extremely attentive to every single detail and was also very attentive to our families. Everyone I have talked to the night of the wedding and since then keeps raving about the atmosphere and especially the food! They had a great time and I heard several times that it was the best wedding they had been to! A few people are already planning events there since being at our wedding 2 days ago. I don't know why anyone would decide to have their wedding anywhere else. The newly designed outdoor areas are simply breathtaking. We took some photos outside when it got dark and it looked amazing! I can't wait to be invited back as a guest for another occasion. The Graycliff has perfected the art of weddings! Their staff from the minute we visited to plan our wedding, til the end of the night on our wedding day, was always very happy, helpful and friendly. Simply the best :)

THis is a top notch place. The staff was all great. Everyone was always kind and respectful of my wishes and never tried to get me to change anything I wanted. I went with the basic package and I didn't get pushed to get any extras. John was our Maitre'D and he was awesome. He was constantly making sure we had everything and yet never seemed to be in our way. The food was excellent (at least that is what I heard since we barely had a chance to sit and eat!). I can't wait to attend a wedding here just to enjoy it from the other side!

THis is a top notch place. The staff was all great. Everyone was always kind and respectful of my wishes and never tried to get me to change anything I wanted. I went with the basic package and I didn't get pushed to get any extras. John was our Maitre'D and he was awesome. He was constantly making sure we had everything and yet never seemed to be in our way. The food was excellent (at least that is what I heard since we barely had a chance to sit and eat!). I can't wait to attend a wedding here just to enjoy it from the other side!

We had our wedding reception at the Graycliff on 10/21/2011. From start to finish we had a fantastic experience with the Graycliff. We had over 300 people at our wedding and they were able to accommodate (literally) a busload of guests arriving 45 minutes early, serving drinks and putting out food right away. The cocktail hour was amazing, all of our guests (from jaded New Yorkers to our family from Ireland) were blown away by the quality and presentation of the food. Dinner went smoothly start to finish (putting down 314 dinners at once can't be an easy task!!) and the servers were extremely attentive throughout the entire night to both us and our guests. We opted for the Viennese hour for our desserts - again our guests and us were totally blown away by the wide array of desserts, chocolate foundation, and delicious coffee bar. \r\rWe took some pictures outside at their picture area - they came out beautiful as this is well landscaped & maintained. The bridal suite was open to us all night and it was so nice to have a private bathroom when you are in your wedding gown. \r\rIt should also be noted that working with the staff was so easy to plan the wedding - they have so many options at such great values. All of the items that I had delivered ahead of time (guest books, flip flops for the ladies room, table numbers, and other decorations) were set up to my exact specifications and the room looked fantastic. My husband and I both work in the restaurant business and can be hard to please, but everything was executed flawlessly. We highly recommend the Graycliff for your wedding! Thank you to John (our maitre'd), Kathy, Charlie, and Tony for such an unforgettable night!

Almost everything about our experience was great. Cathy was a very helpful coordinator. She was easy to get in touch with and had all the answers.\r\rThe food was wonderful, though I personally didn't get to cocktail hour. They give you a lot of options for the menu and we feel we got a pretty good deal. They make it worth your while to go all out for the extended menu.\r\rWe had many of our friends tell us that ours was the more spectacular, over the top wedding they had ever attended. This is largely because of the vast quantity, variety, and quality of the food, including the cocktail hour, the multi-course meal, and the fantastic fire/desert show they offer at the end of the night.\r\rTheir package also came with an included personalized cake from Polermo's, which was great and I'll review separately.\r\rWe got a food tasting before picking our menu that was very thorough. Bar service at the wedding seemed to be quick (no long lines, no complaints from guests). We also used their exclusive in-house lighting team at Ultimate Entertainment DJs, which did a very tasteful light show the whole night.\r\rOur Maitre'D (John?) was also helpful, especially with helping accommodate a last minute wedding crasher.\r\rWe had only one single complaint about The Graycliff, though it still bugs me. They created two beautiful ice sculptures for cocktail hour. But there was a third ice sculpture that was in our ballroom, placed right next to our sweetheart table, that was very ugly. We agreed on a heart with our initials carved into it. The heart was nice, but the initials looked like a child hacked them in with an ice pick. Very unprofessional. We didn't notice it at first during the walk through of the main hall. But afterwards, people kept coming up and commenting negatively on it. And now it's in so many of our photographs; we would have been better off just not having it.\r\rSo, the food was great, the Viennese show was wonderful, the location was beautiful, the staff were very great to work with, the only problem was one out of the three ice sculptures.

We are currently looking for a place to have our wedding. We saw The Graycliff today and The pictures do not do it justice. It's gorgeous, the forum room is my favorite and they offer so many extra amenities compared to most places. Go see it...you'll love it

I had looked a several other venues in the area prior to the Graycliff, but when i walked in I knew this was my choice. The staff is very friendly and attentive. They did not pressure us in any way (something I experience at other venues), but simply shared different dinner and menu options with us and allowed us to make our choices. The day of the wedding they were fabulous. Everything went smoothly and our Matire'D, John, was by our side all day - he even went so far as to retrieve my sneakers from the bridal suite so I could take off my heels! The food is incredible - the cocktail hour alone left our guest full and incredulous that there was still a dinner to come. The staff is very accommodating to special requests (we had some cookies brought in and they set up a special table for them). I would highly recommend this venue.

Since we had such a large bridal party, The Graycliff was open to giving us both bridal suites, set up with food and drinks. The food was great and everything seemed to go smoothly. The night flew by for us but many of our guests kept complimenting everything about the venue!

I had my wedding at the Graycliff in May 2010. Everything was perfect. We had the larger room and had about 150 guests. Our maitre'd was supportive and wonderful throughout the night. She was never too close and never too far. The night flew by and there was always something going on. The food was absolutely fantastic. When we did our tasting we knew we did NOT want to miss our cocktail hour because of the many different food options. The crab cakes were my favorite and my husband who doesn't even like seafood liked them. Also, the clams oreganta! The staff was courteous and prompt with all of our tables. I even had the pleasure of going to this venue a second time 2 months later and STILL had a wonderful time at the wedding. Granted this venue does not have the best curb appeal, but the inside decor, the food, and the service definitely makes up for that.

I can't say enough about this hall. We searched and searched for a hall that lived up to our Big Greek and Italian Family's very high standards. Everything that would work was out of our budget. Then we walked into the Graycliff and we knew we had found our perfect place. \rThe hall was beautiful, the staff was attentive and so helpful and then the food we tasted was as wonderful as the places charging almost double. \rWe were married almost 5 years ago and people still say it was one of the best weddings the ever attended.\rWe have been guests at quite a few other events there since our wedding and all have been just as impressive as ours was.\rI highly reccommend this hall.

We had our wedding reception here, and everything was amazing. We were hooked at the tasting! The food is incredible and they even provided some special dishes upon request. They customized the ice sculpture (I hate swans and hearts - they replicated our color monogram PERFECTLY) and working with them meant we got a cake included, a delicious cake from Palermo's. We also got a great deal on the limo services (Town Limousine) by working with them. \r\rBook the Grand Ballroom - the Bridal Suite is much better, and a better, more dramatic entrance with the gazebo (and the DJ gets nicely tucked away into the other gazebo, out of the guests' way). And the fire show is spectacular, you've got to have it as your grand finale! \r\rEvery single guest raved about the reception location. Absolutely perfect choice, you will not go wrong!
