Located in Joliet, IL, The Haley Mansion is a mansion venue that offers a magnificent backdrop to weddings and special events. With a focus on elegance and sophistication, this manor is ideal for black-tie weddings and formal celebrations. Couples who choose to celebrate their nuptials here can expect complete privacy for their day, enjoying the exclusive use of the mansion. Situated in the suburbs of Chicago, this historical property offers a private and intimate setting while being close to the amenities of a city. The Haley Mansion was established in 1981 by the eponymous Patrick Columbus Hayley. As a lawyer and politician, he entertained some of the city's most renowned politicians, founders, and publishers at the mansion. This property retains many of its original features, boasting six fireplaces, stainless glass windows, and oak and mahogany wood detailing. The Haley Mansion offers both indoor and outdoor ceremony spaces. Couples can exchange their vows on the stunning manicured lawns that surround the mansion, under a permanent pergola set in between two trickling waterfalls. A white brick path makes a gorgeously rustic aisle, while the surrounding greenery creates a fairy-tale ambiance. A conservatory is also available, offering floor-to-ceiling french windows that look out over the grounds. For the reception, couples and their loved ones can move into the ballroom, which can host up to 325 guests for a banquet-style event. Boasting high ceilings draped in white and set off with magnificent chandeliers, this space offers a truly remarkable setting. Tall windows and skylights allow light to flood this area while providing magnificent views of the natural green surroundings. We were extremely satisfied with The Haley Mansion for our wedding. The venue staff was always available for calls and questions. They were very responsive and made our wedding everything we thought it could be. I highly recommend this venue for a wedding.

There aren't enough words to describe how wonderful this venue is! It is beautiful. We got married after the fire and they were so accommodating and understanding with their new limitations at this time. They truly understand how to make the day of the event as seamless as possible and to ensure that it is the best day. Our guests and family talked highly of the staff and how beautiful the venue was; it was all we wanted and more!

There aren't enough words to describe how wonderful this venue is! It is beautiful. We got married after the fire and they were so accommodating and understanding with their new limitations at this time. They truly understand how to make the day of the event as seamless as possible and to ensure that it is the best day. Our guests and family talked highly of the staff and how beautiful the venue was; it was all we wanted and more!

This venue is downright incredible. From the first tour we knew we wanted to have our reception here. The communication from them was clear and open, and their list of needs was so easy to plan for. Food: insanely good. We had a few dietary restrictions in our reception party and they were great at marking those as different and keeping the same level of quality of all dishes. All the appetizers, mains, and deserts were phenomenal. The bar was great and had a great team as wellSpace: This building is beautiful. Everyone kept telling us how much they loved the venue and the staff. Team members and service: Eloy was our day of coordinator and blew us away with his professionalism and skill. Everything went so smoothly and wonderfully. We had a number of photos we wanted set up around the mansion. We dropped them off on Thursday and when we came by on Saturday, everything was set up and laid out. I highly recommend this vendor. They were amazing and helped make our wedding truly an event to remember.

While the venue is a little pricey, it comes with everything- linens, china, serve ware, the cake, food, drinks, servers, lighting, ceremony and reception chairs, free parking, late night White Castle, and more. Most other traditional venues we looked at required us to get individual vendors for all of this. The venue is worth it. It’s beautiful and magical. We felt like Gatsby for a night. If I had to do it over again, hands down, it would be at The Haley Mansion!

We loved having the Haley Mansion for our wedding on 5-21-22! The staff was incredible on the day-of and made everything flow smoothly. Everyone was attentive and professional throughout. The food was great and we got several compliments throughout the evening on the serving size and quality of food. The grounds are absolutely beautiful and we were even able to utilize the outdoor patio area for cocktail hour with an additional bar located outside. I could not be happier to have gone with the Haley Mansion for our big day!

The wedding venue of my dreams! Not only are the mansion and grounds stunning, the ballroom is beyond anything I could have imagined. from the moment we walked in, no other venue could compare. Sandy and Savanah were beyond gracious while working with us, especially considering having to postpone our initial wedding date an entire year due to covid. Day of, our wedding vision came to life and the staff provided one of the most magical experiences our guests are still raving about over a month later. Not to mention the food is phenomenal! As big foodies, we wanted a venue that was a step above your basic venue standard, the mansion exceeded those expectations threefold. Our day at the Haley Mansion was an absolute fairy tale!

The wedding venue of my dreams! Not only are the mansion and grounds stunning, the ballroom is beyond anything I could have imagined. from the moment we walked in, no other venue could compare. Sandy and Savanah were beyond gracious while working with us, especially considering having to postpone our initial wedding date an entire year due to covid. This was my dream venue! Beautiful garden for the ceremony, classy decor for the reception where you could still see the outside (which was ideal in case we got rained out. I still wanted it to feel like an outside wedding and the glass conservatory would have made a lovely plan b if necessary but thankfully it wasn’t!), and a fun interior that made you feel like you were in a period romance novel!Every single guest at our wedding commented on how gorgeous this venue was. A lot of them had fun roaming through the mansion. The food was great especially the peppermint ice cream and the staff was excellent! Having heard from many other brides I expected to not have any food during cocktail hour but a server brought a tray out for us to snack on during the photos and the maitre d was always there to refill my drink so I didn’t have to go to the bar. I worked with savanna for the planning and she was an absolute delight to talk to each time. And I cannot thank them enough for their flexibility during the covid pandemic. Our original date was in April of 2020 which did not happen so when we needed to reschedule they gave us a lot of flexibility with our date since we rescheduled over a year out and we’re very generous with our guest count since it was during the vaccine roll out and we had people waiting until the last minute to rsvp and then a few that cancelled after the fact. The only thing I can would recommend is when you are filling out your contract, don’t wait until the tasting to put in your food and drink in. You can probably always negotiate up but we didnt lock in our ideas early so we when the new year rolled around (we had planned our wedding out over a year before we needed to reschedule so this was not due to covid) the prices for everything went up a dollar or two and that adds up.

My husband and I can not say enough good things about the Haley Mansion. It was the very first venue we looked at for our wedding and after leaving we cancelled the rest of our venue appointments. The mansion is beautiful!! We fell in love with everything about the place. The staff was remarkable. Fast forward to the day of and we could not have been more blown away!! The staff made sure all of our decorations and any requests that we had were taken care of. The servers were always on point and never made a guest wait for a drink. And the food was incredible! Who knew a simple dish of chicken, potatoes and veggies could taste so good?! I think we got the most compliments on the food and the staff. Hands down the best day of our lives!

We needed it for medical bills and after explaining our situation countless times they offered no help or sympathy. I am absolutely disgusted with this “business” and could never recommend anyone I know booking an event here.

We had our wedding cancelled due to Covid-19 unfortunately and this venue REFUSES to give back our deposit. A deposit for a now cancelled event due to an act of God. Wedding venues are supposed to be helpful and caring to their clients and this place is the exact opposite. I do not recommend this venue and am highly disappointed that they cannot be accommodating that we had to cancel our wedding for something out of our control.

I had my wedding here on March 14th, 2020. I can honestly say I really have no complaints. The communication among the staff at the Mansion is impeccable. Sandy, Hannah and Adrianna were my primary points of contact and they never missed a beat. I had a lot of things I dropped of 2 days before my reception and everything was absolutely perfect, down to every detail I wanted. I received so many compliments about the food and service all night, and the days to follow.I do want to mention, that my reception came right before the Covid lockdown, and I was very anxious leading up to my big day, Sandy reassured me that the staff was cleaning and sanitizing throughout the day and night and would be taking extra precautions to ensure my guests safety.All in all it was an amazing place to have my reception, I wish I could do it every weekend!!! Thanks a million to all the staff!

My fiance and I toured this venue twice. The first time, we absolutely fell in love with it, but quickly learned that it was quite outside our budget based on head count, regardless of the minuscule incentive they provided. We went home and agreed to lower the headcount to lower cost. Our second visit, we planned to further negotiate as we were very close to a comfortable number. From there we learned of a new fee that was never originally mentioned, while being told it was built into the entree cost, it really wasn't. Once our final estimated budget was sent to us, it was almost $3K more than we thought, which it should have been only $600. We were then AGAIN told the estimate was entered incorrectly. That the venue rental fee and ceremony were not added into the total. It is EXTREMELY disheartening to love a venue, but have such distrust in a team that can't even provide a correct budget. Not to mention, they pride themselves on taking care of the process for the bride, but that is wrong. If I have to babysit your team for a correct estimate, what would the wedding look like? In addition, they could have easily helped more with bringing the cost down, of which they chose not to. A venue rental fee BTW is complete BS. That is just another way to obtain more money. As sad as it was, my fiance and I chose not to move forward with them.

I just had my wedding here... I was a little put off on the turnover of the staff. In the year+ of working with them I dont believe a single person from the beginning of my journey still works there... NO MATTER though. They were incredible. Seemless transition between ceremony/cocktails/dinner. Perfect meal presentation.... speaking of the food it was DROOL worthy and incredible! I have NO complaints about our experience with the Haley Mansion. I love my wedding, BEST DAY OF MY LIFE!!!

I cried happy tears when we toured the Patrick Haley Mansion during our venue search and by the end of our tour, my fiance and I knew that it was the right place for us. The venue is absolutely stunning and we loved the feel of the old house paired with a beautiful ballroom. We wanted a unique, vintage, and elegant venue and the Haley Mansion delivers.The biggest struggle I had with them was communication. They do a team-based communication approach, so you have multiple people accessing your files and answering your questions. That can be frustrating, but they did a pretty good job leaving detailed notes in our file. It seems like they have a lot of turnover, because the managers we started working with were not the same ones that ended up helping us on the day-of. They are very focused on doing things their way and they try to shepherd you into specific timelines and table arrangements. That being said, they were willing to work with us on doing some unique things once they understood the full picture and why it was important to us. The food was delicious both at the tasting and on the day-of. We received extremely positive guest comments on the food and every steak came out medium rare. Some people told us it was the best wedding meal they ever had.I liked that many upgrades were included in their base package, so I didn't feel nickeled and dimed throughout the process. They also let us incorporate personal touches like family photos on the mantels around the mansion.Even with the sometimes frustrating communication, I loved working with PHM. They helped us throw an incredible party that we will never forget.

Not only is the venue stunningly beautiful from the garden, to the ballroom, to the house itself but the staff is incredible. The staff really sets the place apart from all others. They are essentially your event planners. They contact your vendors, help set up and tear down, and make sure you have everything you need the night of. It was a \"dream-like\" wedding and the mansion was a huge reason why. If you choose to have your wedding there, you will NOT be dissapointed.

My husband and I got married here last night and, as you can tell by how quickly I'm writing this review, I was absolutely over the moon about the Haley Mansion. I wish I could hug every employee that was there last night to thank them for how much they helped make our wedding spectacular. The reception went off without a hitch. My guests (~230) raved about the decor, the elegance of the mansion, how delicious the food was & the overall service. I worked with Sandy, who was an absolute godsend during the last month before our wedding. She was so quick to respond to questions and the mansion was unbelievably accommodating for us. We dropped off our wedding essentials on Thursday, went through the checklist of what everything was & how it should be used, and everything was set up PERFECTLY for the wedding. I mean down to a T, the details were perfect. I can't thank the staff enough for helping our vision come to life for the reception.

My daughter was married here this month and I can not give this venue enough praise! Yes, it is a beautiful structure, that is obvious, however what really made the wedding amazing was the staff!! From the ground keepers, the office girls, the set up/tear down staff, the amazing chef, the servers, the bartenders and of course the amazing coordinator, Eloy! They say you get what you pay for, and for those who are skeptical, it stands absolutely true at the Patrick C. Haley mansion. Poor Eloy did such an amazing job dealing with my crazy self ( Mother of the bride) all night! Thank you Eloy! You will NOT be disappointed for choosing this venue!! Much love to everyone involved making my daughters wedding September 8th nothing less them amazing!!

I’d give this venue 10 stars. Not only is it beautiful, but the service is out of this world! It is a well oiled machine. We are still getting comments from guests about the service and atmosphere of The Haley Mansion. The food was exquisite and there was a lot of it! You receive your own dog of wedding planner which keeps the wedding and reception flowing smooth and most of all on time! The only downfall is they have a guest minimum - our wedding ended up larger than we had planned since we had to meet their adult minimum. We also had to have the wedding on a Friday vs a Saturday due to The Saturday adult minimum being 250 which 1 we didn’t have that many people to invite and 2 it would have been way out of budget.

The staff was amazing and so supportive, making me feel so special as a bride. From all of our meetings to the day-of, all the PHM staffers were beyond anything I could have asked for. They were attentive, supportive, and just overall great people. My guests (all from Chicago / north-suburbs) were in AWE when they saw the mansion, they couldn't believe something this beautiful existed as a wedding venue (thankfully I knew..)! I would recommend The Haley Mansion to any bride - it was one of the best decisions I have made.

We had our wedding here in mid May of 2017. It went off without a hitch. Every attendee, to the person, has said we had one of the best weddings they have ever attended! What a compliment! It was important to my fiance and I that we had a memorable day and that certainly happened because of the Patrick Haley Mansion. TIP: if you are considering this venue: GO VISIT!!!! The pictures do NOT do it justice.Planning: My fiance and I lived out of state as we were planning our wedding. The coordinators made each meeting easy and efficient. We felt involved in every step of the process, but they took care of things we cared less about. The coordinators were very professional and got back to us within 24-48 hours of any request or question. Day of: Each step was coordinated. As the bride, I was able to enjoy every second because I knew that the professionals of the mansion were there to take care of everything. Food & Drink: Every guest remembers the food/service at a wedding, and every person was impressed by the incredible service! My husband and I had wait staff that was designated just for us. No guest was ever looking for anything: a drink, a napkin, anything.Location itself: On our wedding day, it rained the entire day. It didn't matter one bit. The mansion inside made for beautiful photos, and the gardens made for beautiful end of the night photos. Elegantly decorated. We celebrated our wedding at the Patrick Haley Mansion this past fall. From the moment we first met the PHM team, we felt as though we were in the best hands around. We were continuously impressed by each member's friendliness, thoughtfulness, and professionalism. They walked us through the whole process of planning our reception, answered our questions honestly, and answered each email/ call promptly. In the days leading up to our wedding, they helped us put our final touches by being greatly helpful, patient, and accommodating. And, the night of our reception was absolutely perfect. The team members were fantastic, the food was outstanding, and the venue looked and felt magical. Our guests have also shared a great deal of positive feedback about the food, look, and staff of PHM. We were thrilled with our experience at PHM, and would recommend it without a doubt!

We celebrated our wedding at the Patrick Haley Mansion this past fall. From the moment we first met the PHM team, we felt as though we were in the best hands around. We were continuously impressed by each member's friendliness, thoughtfulness, and professionalism. They walked us through the whole process of planning our reception, answered our questions honestly, and answered each email/ call promptly. In the days leading up to our wedding, they helped us put our final touches by being greatly helpful, patient, and accommodating. And, the night of our reception was absolutely perfect. The team members were fantastic, the food was outstanding, and the venue looked and felt magical. Our guests have also shared a great deal of positive feedback about the food, look, and staff of PHM. We were thrilled with our experience at PHM, and would recommend it without a doubt!

The mansion was really great to work with and everyone was always very friendly and polite. We found it to be an amazing place that was great value for our money. The food was amazing and the staff was always helpful and polite. On the day of our coordinator (Patrick) was beyond helpful and accommodating. We had a family member who had some unexpected special needs and he did everything he could to make sure she still had a good time and was comfortable. I am so grateful to him for his help that day. I honestly cannot say enough to praise his service and professionalism. If they lose him as an employee then they will have lost one of their greatest assets. All the wait staff was extremely polite and helpful. We even had someone offer us some hors d'oeuvres while we were taking photos after the wedding. Plus they dealt with some food allergies (peanut and fish) really well allowing us to just enjoy the food and the day. The food came out warm and tasted amazing. We also had the sweets table which was a huge hit. Our guests absolutely loved it, plus everything tasted amazing. There were only a couple things I think they could improve on, first, that they keep a regular contact through email instead of someone different responding to every email, and second, that they don't allow tours right up until the bride is about to walk out. Other than those two things they were amazing to work with.

I can not be happier with my wedding at the Haley Mansion on June 17th 2016. The mansion staff was very organized from start to finish and always replied quickly to any questions I had through email. Kari and Sydney were two all stars that day making sure everything was perfect and I was happy!My guests raved how great the cocktails, dinner and late night snacks were. The mansion looked amazing that day and in pictures.The ballroom, grounds, and mansion staff looked wonderful and I would choose PHM again and agian.

This place is absolutely GORGEOUS inside & out. It’s a hidden gem in Joliet. I would have never found it if I didn’t search The Knot and then click on it because it said Mansion. There is so much to say about this place. The food is amazing; every single bite of food there is great. The venue is big and beautiful. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Kari was our go to person and she made everything run so smoothly the day of and leading up to the big day, she answered every e-mail I sent in a timely fashion. This place is very expensive though! But, if you want to have the most magical night of your life, great picture opportunities, & if you want your guests ranting and raving about your wedding reception days after…you must have your event at The Patrick Haley Mansion!

We were so afraid we were not going to find that perfect venue that had everything we wanted for our wedding. When we walked into the mansion, we knew it was the perfect place for our big day. From the staff, to the decor to the grounds of the mansion, this place is amazing! Jan was incredibly helpful and made wedding planning EASY! This is one of the most stunning wedding venues I’ve ever seen. Having been there about 10 times now, I’m still in awe every time I’m there. The grounds are just immaculate – so lush and made a beautiful backdrop for our ceremony and pictures. The vintage details inside made for such a romantic atmosphere. And the staff is incredible – we worked closest with Jan and Stephanie and they were always so welcoming, patient, and accommodating to us during the entire process. Emails were responded to within 24 hours and all information was told to us upfront. They literally take care of everything - set up, packing up, etc. They had special servers for the bridal party and someone was always there if we needed anything. The food is delicious and the portions are huge. They have a large variety of hor d’oeuvres as well. They put so much detail into everything – white glove butlers, edible orchids to adorn salads, beautiful water dispensers for outdoor ceremonies, ivory damask embossed table linens, gold plated dishes, etc. The night of the wedding, the Best Man worked with the bar staff and they went and found 100 small beer tasting glasses and poured Blue Moon beer so everyone could go on the front lawn and do a toast to the blue moon that night! They made our day so incredibly special for us. This place is expensive, but we thought it was worth every dollar we spent there. My only negative was that they have a 250 ADULT guest minimum for Saturday nights in the summer. We had to have our wedding on a Friday because we only invited 210 guests, including children, (which I think is a large wedding) and didn’t want to pay for an extra 40+ plates. I thought 250 was a high threshold, but no one seemed to have trouble getting down to Joliet for a Friday night wedding so it was fine for us. I wwould have preferred a Saturday though. All in all, the Patrick Haley Mansion hosted a dream wedding for us and we’re being showered with compliments on the venue and food. Thank you!

Thank you SO VERY MUCH for my beautiful wedding on 4/17/15! Your staff is incredibly friendly, attentive and PROFESSIONAL! I have never had such an wonderful experience .. From the first day I met Tracy she was organized and knowledgeable about everything wedding. Her coordinating skills are impeccable. I never felt stressed, unprepared or worried. She did such an amazing job helping me create the wedding of my dreams. Her suggestions were always welcome and her advice was always sound. The mansion..incredible! All my guests drove over an hour for my wedding and I was told over and over the location was well worth the trip. Our coordinator for the day was so sweet and she kept my nerves at bay. We were provided our own server for the night.. that was a cherry on the cake. I was asked quite a few times how I found such an incredible venue.... The food was HOT and tasted just like it did the day we chose it! So many compliments on the food! People loved the mobility of the venue and the freedom to enjoy it as they pleased. I went with the sweet table...man o man I never saw deserts go so FAST! My guests also loved the late night snack.. official white castle! Thank you so much ladies for making my dreams come true and giving my guests a night they wont forget. KUDOS to an honest venue that isnt out to get your last dime and genuinely\rcare about their customers :)

If I could turn back time...I would have read the current reviews of this venue and NOT Booked this location. Now that I am about to walk away and go to another venue because of another late night, with limited sleep because there management has again disappointed me - enough already. The resent customer comments and the professional rating guide for this venue from mid 2014 to current are exactly what I am experiancing, nothing favorable and a huge amount of anger! There manager even commented to me about \"people (couples) are backing out of their event\" and I can see why. This will probably be my experiance too! I have a meeting to try and resolve my concerns but honestly I do not see anything worth my time and additional money. All I have encountered is a group of individuals that want your (in this case my) money. I am getting nothing for my multiple deposits - except a \"date\" with a team that is all about themselves. I am trying to find the good but even my friends and family say, \"It sounds like a rip off!\".... I thought this was a beautiful place but there are MANY OTHERS to choose from that probably will treat you better! Yuck

I tried to set up an appointment to see the venue. The pictures all looked beautiful online and the reviews were wonderful. I spoke to one of their staff over the phone and she was very rude to me from the very beginning of the conversation. I told her what date I wanted and she immediately said it wasn't available without even checking her calendar. She then stated that it was available when I actually had her look up the date. She then proceed to tell me I wasn't allowed to bring anything into the venue. When I asked her to clarify what she meant she stated that they did not allow things to be brought into their venue like a decorated area for the bride and groom to sit such a small stage or riser. I also told her I was Muslim and that I did have some cultural and religious requirement for our reception. Mainly that we could only have females entering the ballroom area when the event was occurring. I have spoken to several other vendors and banquet halls and none of them seemed to find this a problem. Some stated we would have to pay extra which I understand but they were willing to work with us on this point. She later called me back and stated that they are unable to accommodate this request so I cancelled my appointment. \r\rAll in all I found the management unwilling to compromise and overall rude and unfriendly. I don't know if some racism was going on as I did state that I was Muslim however even before I told them that the staff member I spoke to did not seem very willing to help. Overall I do not recommend trying this site if you have specific cultural or religious requirements or if you are very picky and want things a very certain way. The staff are unwilling to work with you and quick to say no before even seeing if something is or is not possible. This is such a shame as the event space looks so beautiful.

Quite overpriced. The food was just okay. Even after paying thousands of dollars, it sometimes felt like everything was about their bottom line. While I appreciate their willingness to be flexible, the customer service prior to the wedding could have been more professional. Our tasting was rushed due to inexperienced servers, leaving us feeling nervous about how the wedding would go. The process at the mansion in preparing for your day is smooth. The staff is very organized all the way until your wedding day helping with details and such. They also have a planner there during the wedding helping with organizing. The food at the mansion was wonderful! That was something we felt was very important in our initial choice of the mansion. All of our guests were happy with the food and we received many compliments. We had one minor issue, the staff was missing two chairs at the head table and it was not noticed until we went to sit down after introductions. My MOH took care of it without me noticing but it was upsetting because we had a meeting previously with a chart of how many people where going to be at our head table so it was an avoidable mistake. Other than that the girls are wonderful and I would highly recommend this venue!!!

I truly don't even know where to begin. The Patrick C. Haley Mansion is the best place to have a wedding or any event for that matter. The grounds, mansion, and the ballroom are all stunning. When my fiancé and I first walked into the ballroom we could not stop smiling, it is breath taking. Our wedding took place on December 21, and so the mansion also had their Christmas decorations up which made it even prettier. Aside from the aesthetics of the mansion, the service we received the day of was something I never imagined. They were always by our sides checking in on us, and helping us with whatever we needed. They were equipped with ear pieces to communicate the starting of our ceremony and making sure the event ran smoothly. The staff was there waiting with a drink for my husband an I once our ceremony was over. The set up and take down was a dream! They took care of everything. When the food was being served, we felt like we were in the nicest restaurant downtown Chicago, but with the suburb prices. It was like an assembly line of plates coming out of the kitchen, so awesome! One of our guests' shoes broke, and the staff was right by her side hot glueing her shoe. If you choose this venue, you will have absolutely nothing to worry about on your special day. My husband and I felt so relaxed and able to actually enjoy our evening with no worries!! We have had countless guests come up to us afterwords and say that was the nicest wedding they had ever been do, but truly mean it!! And that the service was unreal. Do not hesitate to check out the Patrick Haley Mansion as your event venue!!!!

Let me start off by saying, the staff took care of everything. The staff was easily accessible, and had answered all of my questions. They are very skilled, always happy to help, and patient with you. This experience was worth every penny. I would strongly recommend this location for anyone. The venue speaks for itself when you see it in person and your guests will understand this as well. This aspect helped me with saving costs for other decorations. We got so many compliments from our guest, who were also impressed with the taste of the food and quick response to drink requests. So very pleased!!! Definitely check them out.

This is one of the most unique and beautiful places I have ever seen. Not only is the scenery stunning, but the service is as equally great! We worked with so many great people at the mansion. They listened to everything this demanding bride wanted. We could have not been happier! Our guests not only raved about the places but the food was fantastic too! Everything was served hot, and it did not taste like the typical banquet food. We also had our ceremony outside and it was so beautiful. The staff really tried their hardest, especially when my husband and my grandparents were 45 minutes late due to our shuttle service, they kept me calmed and cool until the ceremony. I highly recommend this venue to anyone! They really work with you and they do not disappoint!!!

I've lost count on the number of compliments we received on this venue. The service is excellent, along with the food. Jan was such a pleasure to work with and very flexible with our needs. It's expensive, but if you have the money this is the place to spend it at!

Absolutely perfect wedding! I could not have asked for better quality of a venue, service, professionalism and competence on my wedding day. It was everything I had been envisioning. The only problems we ran into was that, during the planning process, there were multiple staff personnel handling our account so it would get complicated. Also, the gratuity gets taxed which we felt was fairly absurd and did not figure in when doing the wedding budget. We also did not like the minimum that was placed for summer Saturday evening weddings, nor the fact that you can only have one dinner item unless you wanted to pay a lot more for a second entree. \r\rHowever, the actual wedding day was flawless. We had a lot of small details that could have been overlooked, but they did a marvelous job of knowing all of them. All of my guests said that this was the prettiest wedding they have ever attended. I felt like it was heavenly and Patrick C. Haley made the whole day priceless and worry free. I would not even suggest needing a wedding planner. They will coordinate everything for you. Every venue in Chicagoland is expensive, so I would say that this is the best value considering everything. We looked at nearly 15 venues. Excellent job!

My husband and I had our reception of about 200 people at the mansion, and an amazing number of people have told us that we had the most beautiful and well-organized wedding that they have ever been to, so due praise goes to the Haley Mansion. You truly cannot beat the Haley Mansion for a stunning venue.\r\rHowever, my husband and I had some serious qualms about communications with the mansion staff. For example, items that we had discussed with their staff seemed to change at later dates. As one example, we were not told that we needed a certain number of guests during the peak wedding season, so we had to change the date of our wedding to a non-peak season day after we had already set a tentative wedding date based on the information the mansion gave us. In general, little details seemed to be difficult to obtain from the mansion. The mansion's policy on handling wedding contracts is that they do not assign one person to coordinate the day. This means that when you communicate a question or issue to the mansion it can easily fall through the cracks because there is not one specific person responsible for answering your questions.\r\rAll little issues aside during the planning process of our wedding, the Haley Mansion truly provided wonderful service throughout our entire wedding day and we would choose the venue again if we had to everything over again.

(4 if you ask some, as the ballroom is kinda its own floor!) Next, add-in their mouth-watering food choices and full bar that allows for nearly any combination you desire. As if more was needed, let's top this off with the BEST service around. \r\r(Seriously, we aren't joking. As we are a pretty critical people and take perfection seriously, we were anticipating being let-down. We weren't. No even for a minute.)\r\rThe Haley Mansion staff went above-and-beyond to make us (Bride & Groom) happy, the bridal party happy, the parents happy, and even extended that to all of our guests.\r\rI have ever heard so many people say, this is where I want my wedding to be.\r\rIn a word: Perfection.

I am usuanlly not a person at a loss for words, my experience with Patrick Haley has rendered me speechless. From start to finish the Mansion staff was outstanding, welcoming, helpful and on top of everything. I would recommend the Mansion to ANYONE. My Husband and I can not even keep up with all the calls, texts, emails, etc about how amazing our event was from start to finish. Jan, Sherita, Katie (our server) made this day the most amazing day of my life. I wanted to cry when I walked out of the mansion the last time because I would miss them! Very accomodating, very helpful. 100 million stars for the Patrick Haley Mansion and their staff!!\rCan I have a job??? :)

Everything about the mansion was awe-inspiring. I had been looking at venues for a couple of weeks, but right after my fiance and I saw the mansion, we cancelled all of our other appointments...it was beautiful and unique and had the perfect garden for the outdoor wedding we preferred. From planning to the day of our wedding, the service of the managers and staff was outstanding. They ask about and pay attention to every detail of your day, and make you feel like royalty. I would say that overall, it was a bit pricey, but I felt like the managers gave helpful on ways to save money based on your preferences. We loved the old historical feel of the mansion, but also how we were welcomed to bring in photos and other decor to help make it more personal (as if it were our home). Our guests had nothing but compliments about the food, bar, and overall friendliness of all the staff on the wedding day/night. We absolutely loved the venue

I think we were treated differently because we did not have a lot of money. The wedding was beautiful and in the end I was happy but not satisfied. The food is very expensive. You pay for the venue which I did not mind. The chicken was okay but the lamb was delicious! However every step of the way we were told different things depending on who was telling us. One person would say they were flexible while another would tell us a flat out no and then later we would find out that what we wanted was not only possible but had been done recently for another couple. Barb was fantastic. It is a beautiful place but money talks and apparently 10,000 dollars for over 100 people was not enough. Work on customer service Patrick Haley! There were not enough waiters for my guests but my parents and I were treated very well on the day of the wedding. Everything was taken care of and I felt like a princess but...They took toasting glasses before the toast and food before people were done eating.

The Patrick Haley Mansion was wonderful. The staff was so nice and pleasant to work with. We just loved their attention to our guests at the wedding. Some minor hang ups we had. We asked in advance if we could bring in pies and have the servers ask people which pie they would like. And they said they would but never did. We asked them to put the wine we brought in on the tables and again they said they would but never did. All in all, I had a great experience but it was their attention to the little things that let me down.

The pictures online cannot even compare to the emotion you feel whe you walk in. We had our wedding there about one month ago. It is quite expensive but worth it. The mansion and ballroom are beautiful. Everyone at the mansion is so helpful, they set everything up the day of and act like a wedding day cordinator. Jan was amazing had great sugguestion and helped our day go according to plan. The food is delicious, everything that we had at the tasting was good. We also had them make our cake, very delicious. My wedding at the Haley Mansion was perfect and the pictures were beautiful too.

From beginning to end the staff at The Patrick C. Haley mansion were there for me! Initial plannings had me worried since I was an out of state bride, but they accommodated me continuously through my planning, and I could NOT have gotten through my wedding day without them. Jan ran a tight ship over there and felt like a member of my family before the event was over. They even saved my sweets that were left behind from the night of the wedding and called me to collect them the next day! I would recommend the venue to ANYONE!

It is such a truly beautiful and unique place. I always dreamed of having my wedding look like end of \"Father of the Bride\" and the mansion exceeded my expectations. We were able to make it our own - we wanted a reception location that we had all to ourselves and did not share with any other weddings. Not only did we have that, but the ambiance of the Mansion and ballroom truly created a unique experience that we were able to make all our own (we put our engagement pictures all over the home on mantles, tables, etc to make it feel like we were welcoming guests into our own home.);The tasting was bad - I mean, we were seriously worried. but it was NOTHING like the actual dinner course. The dinner at the reception was great and we receieved many compliments. Also, you do not work with one specific person, you work with whoever is there, or whoever calls you - which worried us as well. I was personally concerned that they wouldn't relay certain messages to whomever would be there that night to set up - but all in all, everything was EXACTLY as discussed, and came out beautifully - they really know what they are doing!

Not only did we have that, but the ambiance of the Mansion and ballroom truly created a unique experience that we were able to make all our own (we put our engagement pictures all over the home on mantles, tables, etc to make it feel like we were welcoming guests into our own home.);The tasting was bad - I mean, we were seriously worried. but it was NOTHING like the actual dinner course. The dinner at the reception was great and we receieved many compliments. Also, you do not work with one specific person, you work with whoever is there, or whoever calls you - which worried us as well. I was personally concerned that they wouldn't relay certain messages to whomever would be there that night to set up - but all in all, everything was EXACTLY as discussed, and came out beautifully - they really know what they are doing!

I loved everything about the Patrick Haley Mansion. The staff was excellent the ball room was breathtaking. The food was fantastic. I loved everything about it. I can only hope that I get invited to a wedding there so I can be able to relax and enjoy it.;I dont have any complaints

I absolutely loved the food at our reception venue! I also loved the service and kindness of everyone involved at reception venue. They treated our guests with the upmost respect!;There is nothing that I would warn other couples about with our reception venue. Everything was perfect!
