The Hall at the Harbour Reviews
Mike Carter(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 28-10-2021 We held our extended family Thanksgiving at the Harbor and we couldn’t have been happier! Lori Cafone and her staff made preparations easy and provided amazing hospitality to all of our guests. Her professionalism and attention to detail made it our best and most memorable Carter Family Thanksgiving yet … and we’ve had a 55 year tradition! The location was simple for our PA and Delaware family members to find easily, parking was abundant and very close to the event space. The facility is very clean and well maintained, the event space is beautiful and elegant and the view is spectacular… Especially at sunset! We could not have been happier with our experience at The Harbor! Marjorie McCue(other)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 03-12-2021 Seriously ... 5 rock solid stars!!!I hosted my brother's wedding on 12/3/2021 and could not have been happier with how the event played out. The venue itself is gorgeous. It's hard to beat a full backdrop of the Delaware River! Just beautiful. Maybe more importantly, Lori was an extraordinary manager. She was incredibly patient as plans changed or were altered up to and including the day of the event. She was always spot on with her suggestions and had a handle on every piece of the party. I couldn't have been in better hands since party planning is not my thing. Quick side note ... she also exceled at keeping the bride calm while warding off multiple last-minute meltdowns.I need to give a shout out to the room attendant, Andre. He was wonderful. Just a few minutes before the ceremony, the bride, while spinning in circles, decided she needed a change to the seating plan. Andre didn't bat an eye. He handled that request with utmost professionalism; and did so quickly and quietly. Most of the guests didn't even realize it was happening. I really appreciated that. So, thank you, Lori; thank you Andre; and thank you Palmyra Harbour for helping to make my brother's wedding and reception such a huge success. Reviewed on 21-12-2021
Paula Rooney(other)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 02-11-2021 I held my baby's first christening party here and it was beautiful. The staff was extremely professional and understanding because it was a kid-friendly environment. It was so calming looking out onto the river. Reviewed on 24-11-2021
Alexa Corsello(bride)2 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 08-06-2019 2 stars in generous for this place. Its the women behind the desk who are terrible to work with. They are rude and unorganized. My father had given them an $800 check early on to reserve the venue however several months later when we were following up with various things they had us double booked and couldnt find my father's payment! Took them several hours to find it. There were numerous broken promises with this place and added last minute charges. You would think they would be willing to work with the bride but they are very cut throat with all their policies. I was the only event that day and They wouldnt even let my caterer come in early to set up. He wouldve had to pay an extra $200 per hour for each hour exceeding 8 which is so overpriced. The 8 hour package includes set up and breakdown which is literally impossible to achieve when you have to bring in all outside vendors. The fence was very rusted. They had 10 months to paint it (which they said they would have done) and well its 2 weeks till my wedding and it's still rusted. So i have zero hope that will be completed considering everything else involving these people has been pulling teeth. The bridal suite we were told initially was included in the price, then 1 month before the wedding they said its an extra $400-$600 depending on how long you needed the suite for. For that price the bride should have the suite for her entire event! This place has a lot of potential but I still would never recommend anyone to have a wedding here. A little word of advice for this place would be to not upset the bride if you're trying to get more wedding business... Reviewed on 28-05-2019
