From begging to end, I cannot say enough god things about the Hampton Banquet Hall. For how beautiful it was I cannot believe how affordable everything was! It was such a big sigh of relief that everything was included….food, alcohol, cake, dj (we used our own dj). Our coordinator was Lori and she was phenomenal! She took our vision and took it above and beyond! She was kind, fun, professional, down to earth, so easy to get ahold of…I could go on! She really made sure my husband and I were her top priority! She helped me with everything from the seating chart right down to what to do with my extra flowers. The food was delicious, the cake was perfect! I will be honest, there isn't enough room in this box to write a review worthy for the Hampton Event Center or Lori Murphy (our coordinator) for that matter but I can sure try. From a person who works everyday but one a week and has a busy social life, planning a wedding in less than a year was a task let me tell you but Lori, legit made it the most easy and pain free as possible. The food was over the top, the cake AND cupcakes were to die for. The bartenders and all forms of stuff there truly went above and beyond for Greg and I and we wouldn't be any grateful for all hard work they did for us to make ur special day even better than what we imaged. I truly do not know if I would have been able to stay sane or have such an amazing time and beautiful wedding if it wasn't for Lori. We were under so much stress trying to plan a whole wedding in a months time. The fact that this venue is all inclusive really helped us make our decision ! Lori at the Hampton Event Center made everything such a breeze for us. We seriously had the best experience. Lori was so accommodating in every single way, the food was amazing, the cake was amazing. We used the in house DJ who was also amazing! If we could do it all over again I would still choose the Hampton Event Center every single time!!! We are so grateful for the amazing day they gave us! I had the best experience with Hampton Event Center. From the very beginning, Lori was extremely helpful and guided us through the process. She really tries to ensure she fully understands your vision. All of the costs were laid out and we did not have a single surprise. Lori is responsive and knowledgeable. The packages are complete and Lori walks you through every decision. We also used to recommended DJ. I showed up to my rehearsal and expected to have to set up but Lori and her staff did everything. She even provided additional items for the sand ceremony when we changed our minds last minute. The ceremony and reception had no issues and we had a great party. We absolutely couldn't be happier with choosing Hampton. Lori, their venue coordinator, made our day absolutely a breeze so we could enjoy. The venue was beautiful, she coordinated all of the key events and kept everything on track to provide a great day for us and our guests. Hampton has their own in house catering, baker, and DJ. The food and cake were absolutely delicious and at such a reasonable price compared to other venues we toured, and the DJ took all of our customized requests and made it the perfect day. In comparison to other venues, the Hampton Event Center is affordable, and there are various levels of packages. Packages include food, cake, and alcohol as well as linens, various centerpiece options, cardbox options, table numbers, and plates/silverware. Our food and cake were phenomenal. We loved it as did our guests. Throughout the whole process, we worked with Lori. She was phenomenal. She excels at her job and truly cares about her clients. She went above and beyond and was so responsive to our needs. She is the reason why our day was so beautiful. We met with her several times to go over our big day, and the week of the wedding, she reached out to our photographer, DJ, and videographer to ensure that everyone was on the same page. On wedding day, she saved us cookies of every type to ensure we would get them. She truly helped us more than we could have asked for. We are so lucky to have chosen the Hampton Event Center. While the outside may not look like much from the outside, it is beautiful on the inside and has a gorgeous gazebo. I highly recommend the Hampton Event Center. It was the best decision we made! Lori was so incredibly amazing from the first email. I felt an instant connection and you could absolutely tell she puts her all into her job, and truly loves what she does. She made all aspects of the planning process a breeze. The day of our wedding would have been a dumpster fire without Lori there to call the shots and be the boss! She didn’t even flinch when my MIL was attempting to change tables and seats at the last minute lol. The food was amazing, the staff was warm and friendly, and the venue itself is truly beautiful. From the beginning our event coordinator Lori was absolutely phenomenal. She assisted us with all of our wedding needs and continued to be adaptable with any changes almost up to the big day. She managed to keep us on track and gave her professional input with any decisions big or small. Lori was always super patient, kind, and fun. Lori has a great understanding of what needed to be done and how to execute it without a problem. She also introduced us to DJ Jimmy Mac, and gave us a connection with Pastor Zonts both are wonderful people and super helpful though the process. In the end we had an absolute blast and the wedding was beautiful. Lori took charge and everything went without a single mistake. The event was handled with professionalism 100% of the way. The staff at the Hampton Event Center were all incredible and accommodating we did not have to worry at all. Lori you are the best and we appreciate everything you have done for us!! Nathan Endres(bride)1 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 30-05-2020 I am writing this review in hopes that no other couple ever has to go through what my wife and I went through. Background: we got married during the pandemic -- it was a tough time for couples getting married and businesses that make a living from weddings and other live events alike. When we planned to get married a year and a half prior, there was no predicting that a global pandemic would force us to postpone and (then) ultimately decide to cancel our wedding after a second attempt and failure due to the pandemic. Up until this point, HBH and its staff were the most pleasant people imaginable. However, when we ultimately had to cancel the wedding because our postponed date did not work, we felt those same pleasant people turned very selfish, rude, and combative. I called for days during their listed business hours to no answer. I left a few well-mannered messages to try and entice a return to my calls. Now, we understood that there was no perfect solution. Either we would lose out or HBH would, and we felt that neither party should fully lose out. So, we asked for a 50% refund/50% credit. Seemed fair to us -- we'd get some money back and we'd also have a commitment to give HBH some business for a future event. Unfortunately, we were met with unwillingness to meet us halfway (HBH leaned on its unchanged, pre-pandemic 'non-refundable deposits' policy) and, upon pressing for the compromise, we were met with what we felt were very nasty exchanges in which we had to choose between catering or fearing that we would get absolutely nothing. So, we took the voucher in hopes that we could use it for something positive in the future. Fast forward to this year -- we finally found use for our voucher in planning a family party. However, I was not quick to forget the experience my wife and I went through with HBH, so I asked a family member if they would help plan the event. Things were once again going smoothly until the first of a new set of red flags -- they wanted another security deposit on top of the hefty deposit we had already made/they kept from our canceled wedding! I stomached this because I feared again that if we pushed back, the business would walk away and we would have wasted so much time, effort, and money. As the event got closer, the family member that was previously communicating with HBH for planning the event called me to let me know that he was having issues getting in touch with HBH and that when he finally did get through, the manager/owner told him that he was harassing the business and its employees -- I kid you not, he ONLY left voicemails asking for HBH to get back to him about planning an event that was two weeks away! Starting to notice a pattern? I was pleasant enough to take over planning at that point to get the event and our money across the finish line, but I would never ever do business with these people again nor recommend them to anyone even considering booking an event here. The sad reality is, had they given us a positive experience, I would have recommended them without hesitation to any friends and family searching for an event venue (since like I said, they were very, very pleasant at first). Unfortunately, this situation soured very quickly and the ugliest part about it is, from our perspective, that these people know how to \"turn it on\" and sell us on their kindness up front, only to look out for themselves and be nasty in wake of complications. We held our wedding at the Event Center this past weekend and our guests have done nothing but talk about how wonderful the food, wedding cake and staff were. When we initially met with Lori, we knew within 30 minutes that we would likely end up booking the Hampton. Lori is the warmest, kindest and MOST organized person for being in such a stressful industry. She answered every single question I asked leading up to the wedding, was available by phone, text, and email at any point in time and most importantly organized a flawless event. The Event Center not only provide a comprehensive package that includes your meal, appetizers, late night snacks and booze, but also includes your wedding cake. Lori walked us through every step of the way and easily stepped into the role of quarterback on the day of our wedding. She wrangled the wedding party and kept all of our other vendors in the correct place at the correct time. She did so much work with us, and behind the scenes as well to make our reception everything I could've ever wished for. The shape of the room allows everyone to feel included. Personally, I do not like attending weddings where everyone is in different areas. I wanted everyone I love to be together having fun. One of my favorite memories of the day is sitting at our sweetheart table, looking at my husband, and saying all of these people are here for us. You could feel the love and support in the room. We were engaged in 2018 with a June 20, 2020 wedding date. Unfortunately, due to Covid19, we had to postpone our wedding to July 17, 2021. EVERYONE at the Hampton Event Center was so kind and supportive during our difficult time of realizing we would need to postpone our wedding. Our wedding was EVERYTHING I dreamed it would be! The hall looked gorgeous, the food was delicious, Jimmy Mac was AMAZING!! We danced all night!! A great time was had by all and we are so grateful for the experience and memories. We could not be more pleased with everything at the reception. Let’s face it, weddings can be stressful. From the moment we met to tour the facility to the moment the last guest left the reception Kelly and her team did everything to make everything run smoothly and be as stress free as possible. I cannot tell you how many of our guests have raved about how wonderful everything was. I have told person after person how lucky we were to get the venue and I mean that in all sincerity. Kelly and her staff helped to make our daughters wedding the day that every little girl dreams of. Not only were they professional, the venue was beautiful, and the food excellent. So many of our guests were truly impressed with the food and raved about it. My now husband and I felt as though we could really trust Kelly and Lori. They did not disappoint! Our reception truly was perfect and I am so grateful for them. They have worked with us over the past two years to plan our day and they were wonderful every step of the way! They have so many options from cake and food and decor, but are also open to what your vision is and what you like. Whatever it is, they are supportive and right there helping you achieve your vision! Even with corona going on, I never felt unsure. They were honestly what kept me positive through the process at that point! I knew they were up for keeping the day going as original to our plans as possible, while still following guidelines and not risking anyone’s safety. They treat you like you’re family and it’s as if you’re the only wedding they need to worry about. Their dedication and attention to detail can’t be beat. Kelley and Lori are absolutely amazing at making sure you are able to have everything you want for your dream wedding. It feels like it is as important to them as it is to you, and they stop at nothing to make sure your day is perfect. The various all included wedding packages make planning so easy, and the vendors they use can't be beat. The food, the cake, and the DJ were all wonderful. We have been raving to everyone about how perfect our day was! Let me first start off with how ABSOLUTELY AMAZING Lori Murphy is. She hands down took out all of the stress about planning a reception. I was in CONSTANT communication (and when I say constant, it was weekly, and sometimes daily as we got closer) with her through the entire process, which put my mind at ease. She was very responsive to questions that we had. We cannot thank her enough!We got married at Phipps Conservatory, took some photos, and shuttled over to the reception venue. The location of Hampton is perfect (it was only about a 20 minute shuttle from Allegheny Landing (PNC Park area). I had sent Lori a text to let her know we were on our way (we were pretty early, which was such a great thing!) and she was outside waiting for us. She was very professional the entire night and walked us through everything from the entrance, cake cutting, and coordinating the first dance. Now on to the actual reception- the day before we dropped everything off. We set up the two family tables the way we wanted all the tables to look. The Hampton staff took it from there! It was pretty painless and very easy to coordinate. Everything was set up perfectly. We had cookies that we also dropped off the day before. They trayed the cookies for us and made sure that my husband and I (and my grandfather who was unable to attend) got a tray of cookies and cake! We are still receiving compliments on how GOOD the food was!! The appetizers were awesome and the menu we picked out was perfect. Hampton is also kind enough to package up the left-over food and send it home with you! Which brings me to the end of the night- my brothers were in charge of taking home any food, decor, etc that needed to be taken home that night. My husband and I were the last to leave the venue (besides my brothers) and the staff was so organized and efficient with cleaning things up and helping to pack things away. We left knowing that everything was going to be organized and well handled! There are several hotels within a 20 minute radius, so finding a hotel to block rooms at is easy.The open bar package had a really nice selection as well! I chose Holy Trinity Hall (Hampton Events) because of the location, the reputation of the fantastic food, and the elegance of the hall itself. It is spacious with adjoining rooms available to expand your event as needed. Evan, Kelley, and Lori were available from the beginning stages of planning my fundraiser through the final minutes of the event that evening. They ensured that all the details and special touches were handled so that I could enjoy the party with my guests. In light of some unfortunate extenuating circumstances, my guest list final count was significantly less than expected. Evan was compassionate and creative and he worked with me to carry on, adjust the use of space, adjust the menu and still have the event that I have dreamed about for 10 years. My fundraiser was a success only because of the dedicated team at Holy Trinity/Hampton Event Center. Even months later, my guests, family and friends, continue to complement the food and atmosphere and the DJ who kept us all dancing through the night. From the first time that my fiance and I went to Holy Trinity and toured with Kelley, it was amazing. We had our wedding there this past June. Kelley and Lori were nothing short of amazing. I live out of town, so they always made themselves available each time I came in so that I could meet with them and go over some details! I would recommend going to the open house that they have because you will be very inspired by the things that you see there! If you are looking for a large, beautiful, affordable venue, this is the place. It is also very convenient that the hotel is within walking distance, as the after party continued up there! My husband and I received so many compliments about the food, how beautiful the cocktail hour was, the cookie table (which Kelley and Lori set up for you!), and how spacious the dance floor was! We had about 200 guests. They both made the whole wedding weekend stress-free, only having to drop our things off on Friday morning that they would be setting up for us. If you are having a cookie table, the caterers plated and displayed the cookies in a beautiful manner. The cake is included in the package and it was excellent. We used the house DJ Jim McCann and were not disappointed. He had young and old on the dance floor. There was never a time that the dance floor was empty. I did not have 1 thing to worry about the day of (or even a few days before). They completed the set-up/clean up (which means the world) and Lori, the event coordinator, was prompt in returning phone calls, texts, and emails. Lori also communicated with all of my vendors which greatly reduced my stress. All of the staff were attentive as well. Our plates were full and we always had a drink in our hand. The bridal party and both parent head tables were served dinner, the rest was buffet style. I would recommend this venue to any bride/groom. Visually it is beautiful especially at Christmas time. You can customize the wedding as much as you like or you can give Lori free reign. All of my guests complimented the venue and how organized everything was. Working with her for a year and a half planning our wedding was one of the best experiences. She made sure every detail was perfect and was more than accommodating. Kelley was available day or night to to address any questions or concerns we had. She truly made us feel like family and the planning process stress free! I couldn’t thank her enough for everything she did for us. Kelley even took the time to take pictures of the hall decorated prior to guests arriving so we could see the empty room and all the decor and cookies, which was so thoughtful! She went above and beyond for every aspect of our wedding.The Holy Trinity Center is all-inclusive. There is no need to worry about organizing vendors for food, drinks, cake or linens because they take care of it all! The day of our wedding the rest of the staff was amazing as well! They were attentive to detail throughout. I got many compliments from guests that they were impressed that the staff was so friendly and even complimenting the guests, saying how nice they looked. The food is AMAZING and I can’t even tell you how many people complimented the food. Overall it was a perfect day thanks to the staff! Lastly, I want to comment on the affordability of this hall. We had a very limited budget as we were paying for most of our wedding ourselves. This hall was the most affordable we could find in the area, and like I said earlier everything is included in the price! The facility is beautiful, the food was delicious, and the planning and service was impeccable. We honestly cannot say enough about how wonderful it was to work with Kelley, Lori, and Evan. Throughout the entire planning process, they were always so pleasant and accommodating. They were genuinely excited for our wedding as if we were a part of their own families. All of the food was amazing, from the appetizers to the main buffet to the late-night bites! Evan was wonderful in helping us to create a menu to accommodate all our guests, including those with food allergies and dietary preferences (vegan) and restrictions (Celiac). My new husband and I are both vegan, and the special eggplant entrée he created for us was one of the best meals we have ever had. We were so impressed! On our wedding day, everything came together beautifully! The service was excellent, and everyone was very professional. More than half of our guests were from out of town, so the location was perfect. We filled a large block of rooms at the Fairfield Inn & Suites at McCandless Crossing located right next to the reception venue, so our guests were within walking distance of all of the shops and restaurants there. We would give The Holy Trinity Center more than five stars if we could! They went above and beyond to make our wedding day one of the most memorable days of our lives. She’s VERY responsive, polite, professional, sweet, full of amazing ideas, & patient. When we first met Lori as well as toured the hall, we knew this was the place we would get married at. The location of the Hall is great since it’s located approximately a 2 minute drive from the Hampton exit of the PA Turnpike. Throughout the planning process, Lori was a great sound board to bounce ideas off of. She would often take our ideas and take it up a notch. She really had a keen eye to make our day extra special. Make sure to attend the Open House to meet the various vendors as well as try the amazing food!! Our wedding day ran VERY smoothly and exceeded our expectations. For example, I have elderly parents. Lori as well as the DJ (Jimmy Mac....also fantastic and recommend) noticed my parents were exhausted and suggested them to sit during the announcement of the Wedding Party. My parents and I were very grateful for them recognizing this. The Hampton Banquet Hall staff was very polite and attentive during the reception. The food was great. I keep hearing from our guests the food served was the best food and selection they’ve had at a wedding. We did the silver package and it was more than enough food as well as the variety was excellent. Plus, we had leftovers for the next 3 days!! Lori and the staff did everything from set up to clean up. We didn’t have to worry about anything other than having fun and mingling with our guests. I would highly recommend the Hall, if you’re looking for top notch service and special attention for an inexpensive (compared to other facilities in PGH) intimate event. Plus the Hall doesn’t nickel and dime (additional cost for simple items such as linens, chairs, tableware) like a lot of facilities in PGH. Lori suggested getting the nylon chair covers (similar to spandex) along with sashes for the chairs, for an additional cost. I am SO glad we did this since it added an additional level of elegance to our day!! There is more than enough parking for guests. The on site lighted gazebo and bridge were a plus. We took our wedding pics here and it saved us a lot of time since we didn’t need to drive anywhere. Having the ceremony and reception in one spot made it convenient for our guests as well as us. Our experience that we had working with Kelley was bar none. We could not have asked for a better wedding coordinator. Kelley does a fantastic job with communication and keeping you updated. Keep in mind, communication goes both ways in regards to planning your special day. Keeping Kelley update as soon as possible allows her to create the proper experience for you and your loved one. Not only is communication important, but preparation is just as close. Coming prepared to her meetings will ensure that your wedding is going be the best day of your life! I cannot say enough good things about Kelley. We are a little sad that our day has already come and gone because working with her was so much fun and she made everything go as smoothly as possible. Kelley is a sweetheart and she went out of her way multiple times to make sure we were both accommodated up to and even during our wedding day. Most importantly, the day of the wedding, Kelley is as cool as cucumber. She had everything in line and EVERYTHING went the way we planned it. My wife and I made a genuine connection with her that we will not forget. Typically, my wife and I do not do reviews. However, we wanted to go out of our way to make sure everyone in the Greater Pittsburgh Area knows to BOOK THIS PLACE! We had the perfect day and that was all due The Hampton Event Center and Kelley. The location was great for our out of town guests since there are hotels, shops & restaurants close to the venue. Kelley & Lori were easy to work with in the months leading up to the wedding. On the day of the wedding, the full staff went above & beyond. We had our cocktail hour in the gallery & then dinner and dancing in the grand room. Lori and her team were absolutely wonderful to work with. I never worried if anything was going to go wrong. Lori always reassured me that whatever happens, it will be okay. The food at the open house was superb. Our guests at the reception continue to rave not only about the food but the decor of the banquet hall as well. I see tons of brides needing to find things such as linens, centerpieces, wondering how much liquor to buy. It helped so much knowing that Lori and the banquet hall either took care of all of this or had the items that we could use for our center pieces. It definitely took some stress away from me. From the very first sit down consultation to the last and every little email and meeting in between, Kelley was so professional, knowledgeable, flexible and personable. The wedding industry is filled with people that are just interested in getting their money’s worth without actually providing what they promise to when you book them, bht The Hampton Banquet Hall is not one of them. They make you feel like your wedding is the event of the century and will accommodate for you in anyway they possibly can. My husband and I had to reschedule our original wedding date because we found out we were expecting. So our wedding was a very much anticipated day that we waited a long time for and Kelley and Evan were so accommodating and understanding from beginning to end. They invited us to multiple open houses, even invited us to their other location the night they were hosting a wedding so that we could see how they set up and sent us home with containers of food to taste taste for our entire family!! And then ironically, come to find out Evan actually hosted my aunts wedding 14 years ago and she loved The Hampton Banquet Hall just as much as I did 14 years ago, so that’s proof that they do their job and they do it well! We will forever cherish the memories we made with Kelley the day of our wedding and all the days leading up to it! They helped alleviate a lot of the stress involved in getting it all organized and in proper order. There are plenty of options to pick from for food, table decor and hall accents. The food was fantastic, the actual venue space was beautiful, and the staff was super hospitable. This venue was very spacious, and our 250 guests had a blast here. There is a patio, a gallery room, and a ballroom all which connect in a cohesive manner allowing guests to be part of the party or step outside to relax a bit. We worked with Kelley and she was amazing in helping us prepare for the day. Everything was set up perfectly and our guests really had a great time. Held in the spacious Holy Trinity Center facility, the food was amazing, with generous portions that were very flavorful. The chef was accommodating to the many food allergies and requests. Kelley, the banquet manager, was extremely helpful in detailed planning. She was not aggressive to push uncharges and respected the budget. She was accommodating to our limited availability to meet for initial planning, and offered great suggestions that helped in planning. Cocktail hour was amazing with numerous hors d'oeuvres options for guest and the presentation was beautiful. The gallery was spacious to accommodate 250 guests and were able to utilize the lawn for outdoor seating as well. For dining, the banquet hall layout and space was able to accommodate our guest comfortably as well as a large dance floor and a wonderful cookie table. We certainly will be looking forward to utilize Holy Trinity Center again for future family functions. The facilities are fabulous and the staff were extremely helpful in making our daughter's wedding a great start to the beginning of her new life with her husband. We were able to plan everything in about 3 months with the help of Kelley and Lori. There are no words to describe the comfort and ease they put you in when planning. Anything we needed, Kelley made sure to take care of it. They were so flexible with schedules, anytime we wanted to come and see the Hall and discuss plans they always had time!! We still have people asking how we found the Hall and how wonderful it was. They all want to work with Kelley. Everything went so smooth, not one issue the entire day. Kelley did such a great job at coordinating everything. She's personable and professional and really cares about your day! I didn't have to worry about a thing the day of - everything went so smoothly! And the venue is stunning. We got so many compliments on both the atmosphere and the food. The portions are huge and food is wonderful! Also, they offer a wide selection of alcohol which is different than other venues we toured. I'd recommend them to anyone who is wedding planning! To there professionalism in booking, planning and organizing our dream wedding to a \"T\" . The staff was exceptional in making the whole night amazing. All our guest commented us on how they have never seen a staff with such a high grace. Evan and his kitchen staff was so incredible. The scalloped potatoes were out of this world. It didn't matter from our chicken dish to the prime rib it was all so tender you could cut it with only a fork. It was truly remarkable. Everything was seasoned to perfection. Kelley was our coordinator and she did a fabulous job with everything. We met with her a few times throughout the process and she made sure everything was as we wanted for our big day. Everyone was very accommodating. We looked at a few other venues but HT was by far the best. Their prices cannot be beat, and they include you cake and some centerpiece options in that price which is WAY more than any other venue. I would HIGHLY recommend this venue for you wedding!! This was the second time we had worked with Kelley, Evan and the Hampton Banquet Hall staff. The first time was in 2007, when our oldest daughter had her reception at the Gibsonia location. Both times we could not have been more delighted with the service, food, table settings including centerpieces and everything!! All of the planning, starting with our first meeting to the big day, went so smoothly. Kelley was always available for questions or quick to return calls. The wedding reception package is fairly priced and includes extras such as the delicious wedding cake, a variety of centerpieces and even a beautiful box to hold cards. The food at both the cocktail hour and the reception was delicious and plentiful and there were so many different options from which to choose. We received so many compliments from our guests on this wonderful venue. I would highly recommend Hampton Banquet Hall for a perfectly elegant, beautiful and memorable wedding reception! Kelley and Lori were there from day 1 helping us each step of the way, from picking out linens and food to deciding on a start time. I contacted them several times throughout the process, changing a few things and they accommodated everything perfectly! The guests raved about the food and how beautiful everything looked. We had some extra setup required with our decorations and a coffee bar, and they made sure everything went according to plan. I had researched many venues in the area before deciding on the Hampton Banquet Hall, and I know that I could not have made a better decision than this! The quality you get for the price you pay cannot be beat. With the HBH providing things such as linens, food, alcohol, cake, centerpieces, and doing all of the setup/cleanup, it was a huge relief to have so many less things to worry about organizing the day of. We were in a scramble as our original Wedding Ceremony and Reception venue burnt down to the ground 6 weeks prior to our wedding date. We found this venue and couldn't have been happier after the initial meeting and seeing the place. There was so much to plan and figure out all over again in such a short amount of time that we could not have pulled it off without the exceptional help of Kelley. She worked really hard for us to ensure we could have all that we wanted and in the end it was a flawless, perfect day! If I could give a million stars on this rating, I would.
