A Historical Vermont Wedding

The Henry House is a historical wedding venue located in the Green Mountains of Southern Vermont. The house sits on 25 acres of carefully kept grounds alongside the Walloomsac River flowing under the red authentic covered Henry Bridge. A 14-ft high stone fireplace offers a unique setting for a fireside ceremony with a large Vermont slate patio and converted Corn Crib barn to bar! The grounds feature numerous water installations, including a manmade pond, flowing waterfall, and trickling stream. This historical homestead offers breathtaking views and photo opportunities for unforgettable pictures of your memorable day. Conveniently located in the Southwest portion of the state, this Georgian-style home is within driving distance of nearby states including New York, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Massachusetts, and Connecticut for easy travel for guests. The Henry House offers 4,000 square feet of inside living space for you to stay and enjoy right at the location of your wedding venue. The home sleeps 12 guests comfortably and is well-equipped with central air throughout. Come and stay with us for your event to ensure a good night's sleep before and after your wedding day with 6 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms outfitted with period furnishings. We also offer a newly renovated red guest cottage with regulation sized pool table which sleeps 8 guests! Amongst the two buildings, your wedding party and family can stay right on the grounds. To help you prepare for the day ahead, the house features a well-appointed bridal suite which grants you the opportunity to spend some time in private with your wedding party prior to saying, "I do." Alongside weddings, the house welcomes showers, milestone birthdays retreats, getaways, and family reunions located on Airbnb as a private and unique house rental. We invite you to take in the natural beauty of the Vermont countryside for your wedding! Cheers to you! Rebecca & Family

Rebecca L. Sklepowicz The Henry House Owner Rebecca L. Sklepowicz (Owner)

My parents are retired school teachers & business owners who have always loved working with people and contributing to our small town community. Since I was 8 years old we have always had a family business, from Christmas trees & wreaths, to our recent adventure of rejuvenating the historic Henry House. The original charm of this landmark home is retained for your pleasure in this authentic inn that my family has recently renovated to share & enjoy from our family to yours. The Henry House features a beautiful open front porch which overlooks the red covered Henry Bridge & Walloomsac River.
