We had an excellent experience having our ceremony and reception at Boyne Highlands. Ellen was our coordinator and was very professional, thorough, and easy to work with. The food was AMAZING and we got many compliments from our guests on how great the servers and staff were at the venue. We are very happy with everything at Boyne Highlands.

We are SO happy we had our wedding at Boyne Highlands. We had our ceremony at the top of Kath Run and reception on the tennis courts. We also hosted a welcome dinner Friday for all of our guests. The entire team was wonderful to work with. We had to postpone our date due to COVID-19, and Ellen was so helpful as we navigated all the changes due to COVID precautions. Everything was perfect, including the food which our guests raved about! We highly recommend hosting your wedding weekend at Boyne Highlands.

At first, I was a little worried about how we could transform the dated ski lodge cafeteria, but the wedding and events team worked tirelessly to accomodate our 300+ guests, making the entire weekend so easy and seamless. We had many guests remark at how nice the whole resort was, and how they couldn't wait to come back with their families. Ellen was amazing and answered every email, text, and call immediately and was on site days in advance to set everything up and make sure everything was perfect. As the bride, I wasn't stressed at all because Ellen handled everything! Wish we could go back and do it all again!

We booked the Country Club at Boyne Highlands for our Daughter's wedding in June 2019. The venue was absolutely perfect! All of the personnel were knowledgeable and extremely helpful. The entire event went off without a hitch and all of the guests commented that it was one of the best weddings ever! the food was fantastic and the chefs were happy to add items to the menu in order to create a unique experience. All table setup and take down is included, but you can decorate to personal taste. Wonderful experience! We highly recommend this venue.

My daughter had her reception here in July. This was a beautiful wedding venue. Stephanie was outstanding and was our coordinator. She really made sure that everything was taken care of for us. I was nervous that everything would be set up the way that we wanted and when we arrived from the church it was gorgeous! The entire staff was friendly and were great with all of our guests.

We wouldn't change a thing about our recent wedding at Boyne mountain. Our rehearsal dinner at the trophy room was fabulous. The ceremony at deed lake was magical juat as I thought it would be, and our reception at stein Erickson's was perfect. The food was superb, the hotel rooms reasonable priced, and every single staff member was #1 in cuagpmwr service. My wedding day ran smoothly with the help of our event planner. She had the right mix of giving direction with letting me take my own direction. I would have my wedding all over again right at Boyne if I could.

We had our wedding ceremony outside on the lawn by the water and then guests went up to the patio for drinks until dinner started inside Sagamores and then we had live music and drinks out under the tent that lit with gorgeous white lights. Our guests were amazed by how good the food was! The serving staff was super friendly and attentive. Everyone loved the views and décor of the entire hotel. This place is wedding day perfection. We couldn't have asked for a better place! They exceed your expectations!

We are absolutely thrilled with our decision to have our wedding here. A gorgeous setting for a ceremony by the water, and a the reception space was perfect. Using Sagamore's for the dinner was great - it didn't feel like a banquet hall, rather a dinner party with our friends and family. And having cocktails and dancing outside on the terrace let us take advantage of the beautiful setting. You don't need to bring in much decor since the setting on the lake is beautiful, and the dining room is nicely furnished. The staff was excellent and our event coordinator, Lindsay, was great - responsive, accommodating and helpful. It's not cheap, but it's well worth it!

I was married last weekend, October 25, 2014, and all events were held at Boyne Mountain. The rehearsal dinner was at the Beach House on Deer Lake. Our ceremony was on the beach at Deer Lake (perfect October weather) and our reception was in the Grand Mountain Lodge Vienna Ballroom. Everything was perfect! Boyne Mountain staff was incredible, from the first phone call, site visit, planning stages, and wedding weekend. They are the highest caliber of professionals and I cannot recommend them enough! No detail was overlooked and the entire weekend ran seemlessly. I couldn't have asked for a better wedding, at a better venue. My highest possible praise and gratitude to each and every person who helped make our wedding a day one we'll never forget!

We had a winter wedding and reception at this site. It is so beautiful you really don't need much decoration! Our coordinator (Megan) was very responsive during the process and the hotel offers so many services, from helping with menu selections and facilitating rehearsal you don't even need an additional wedding planner!

I would recommend this venue to any bride and groom because they truly delivered a lakeside dream wedding for us. One of the best features of The Inn at Bay Harbor is that you can have your ceremony outside and reception inside. However if it rains, there is a great back up plan. Many other venues we looked at had to completely change the feel and set up of the wedding, if there was rain. Another awesome benefit to booking your wedding at The Inn is the wedding planner that is assigned to you and helps every step of the way.

We love this resort- have been there multiple times to vacation and were excited to have our wedding there. The location was fantastic and our pictures were amazing- ceremony right by the water. \rOur Service was terrible!! The wedding planner they \"assigned\" to our wedding was rude, disorganized and scatter brained! I could not believe that was her job and she was getting paid to be that bad. I did complain to her boss right from the beginning- which did not help anything.\rShe also attempted to over charge us on our bill by $4,000!!!!! If i wasn't paying attention and second guessing everything she did- we would have paid $4,000 more!\rTHIS venue and staff made this the MOST STRESSFUL part of my wedding! I would NOT choose this place again if i could do it all over!

My daughter just got married this Saturday at the Inn of Bay Harbor in a beautiful lakeside lawn ceremony with her reception at Sagamore's, the lawn and the tented deck. We had been planning it for 1 1/2 years and have had nothing but positive experiences from sales (Brie - WONDERFUL), event planner (MEGAN - AWESOME) to the service staff at the actual wedding (PROFESSIONAL).\r\rIf you are considering it, you need to go up on a weekend and watch an actual wedding from afar. Stay at the hotel or the lakeside cottages and get a feel for the place. Everything else pales in comparison. The setting itself is so beautiful and breathtaking that you feel like you are in a fairy tale. Every guest that attended could not stop talking about it. It was truly magical.\r\rAlso, I have never heard so many compliments on the food that was served. It was definitely 5 star. \r\rWe plan on coming up every year to celebrate the wonderful day! The only complaint we had was that we had to leave!!\r\rInn at Bay Harbor - class act!!!

Boyne really went above and beyond to make my wedding extra special! The service was great, the lodging was very clean, and the food was always delicious! I would highly recommend going to Solace Spa too!

Wendy at Boyne was amazing!!! She helped organize everything. I had my reception at the country club of boyne and it was amazing! The rooms themselves were beautiful, the view and outside area were set up nice. Service was great. The only issue was that the food was not as good as expected. It was actually way different from the tasting, but the guests still loved it.

We really wanted a venue where lodging was also offered. Boyne Highlands was everything we could have imagined. Although I was a bit skeptical about having our event in the blue / green room because of the really ugly carpet, we went with it anyway. Our decor helped to camouflage the carpet and I didn't really notice it during the event. I loved that there was tons of space and nothing felt crowded. The food was awesome and we loved having stations during the meal. Best of all our guests only had to walk a few feet to their hotel room versus driving across town.
