A White Glove Experience From Start to Finish
The Hillside Estate is an upscale wedding venue in Crossroads, TX. The estate invites couples to celebrate in the height of luxury. Its French chateau-inspired design leaves guests feeling like they are raising a glass in Versailles itself. Nestled amongst scenic views, it is a secluded slice of paradise to be enjoyed by parties. Despite such an exclusive setting, the venue is easily accessed from the nearby Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. The Hillside Estate brings French elegance to the Midwest. This spectacular mansion is constructed from pure white stone, lending it a magical, fairy tale tone. Guests will arrive to a sweeping front lawn, exiting their limousine by the fountain, and entering the venue under its towering portico. Inside a regal experience awaits, cast in light from the property’s large windows. Couples can exchange vows in the Chapel Room with its ornate chandeliers. The room features a wall made entirely of glass, opening the space up onto the grounds. Indeed, to-be-weds can also choose to host a big day amongst the lush nature of the venue. Surrounded by rolling hills, guests can take a moment to relax, breath deep, and appreciate the beauty of Mother Nature. Back inside, more splendor awaits. The Great Hall is a grand salon with sophisticated wall paneling and light fixtures. A space truly worthy of French royalty, it is a magical setting in which couples can have their first dance. At The Hillside Estate couples can expect white-glove service from start to finish. The venue can host a large gala gathering of up to 300 guests in its many rooms. There are also many exclusive spaces, such as its suites, which the party can use as get-ready rooms. The team helps couples plan their big day and works with them along the way. They provide any information to-be-weds need, and can welcome outside vendors to the venue. Such dedicated service is offered from the moment couples view the property, as they are welcomed with champagne and bites by its concierge.

My husband and I highly recommend having your wedding at the Hillside Estate. The venue is gorgeous, clean, and breathtaking, and the staff is attentive and amazing. We booked Hillside back in October 2020 for a June 2022 wedding. When we toured, it was just foundation and framing with easels of pictures of what it was planned to look like upon completion. So we trusted the process and it turned out to be even more beautiful than we could have imagined! The staff is thoughtful and answered all the random questions I had throughout the planning process. All my friends and family raved about how beautiful it was. With it being 105 degrees, we moved the ceremony indoors which was still a gorgeous plan B. I actually liked having just 4 catering options - fewer options to have to decide through. BlueFire was fantastic. Mama's Medicine, who is the bar service, was also great and had lots of options to pick through. Living in Dallas closer to downtown, it is a trek to get up there but that was a compromise we were willing to take!

As a bride, you truly don’t know what you should until you’re going through the process and Hillside is the best venue in DFW now that I know what I know. They were so responsive, held fun events like open houses and tastings, kind and helpful by answering all sorts of questions each week that I would call in and really made sure my wedding was perfect on the wedding day. I can’t rave enough about my experience.. especially after both my brother and maid of honor were getting married around the same time at similar venues and seeing how different it was. If you are thinking of booking this venue, do it!

Such a beautiful venue! I could not have asked for a better backdrop for our wedding. We booked Hillside before it even opened and I'm so glad we did. The space was gorgeous and we got so many compliments on it. The only reason I took away a star is because they told me that because I paid my final invoice early, I couldn't adjust my headcount. The contract said I had until 2 weeks before the wedding to adjust my headcount so I should not have been penalized for paying early. They ended up giving me some money back for a few people but not all. They also charged me for a lounge set that due to rain didn't even get used or put out. We had planned to use it in the courtyard but with the rain we changed our minds days before the wedding but we still got charged. Not the end of the world, but would have been nice for them to be flexible. All in all it was a great wedding!

This is the most beautiful venue in DFW! When we toured, I fell in love immediately and am so happy I found The Hillside Estate! My favorite space is the bridal suite.. it’s so light and spacious. The planning process was smooth and I hired a few vendors from the vendor list. They were all great and the venue team was always responsive and helpful. If you are in search of a venue, I definitely recommend Hillside!

I found them creative, insightful, an open to offering various options for different budget items. Their professionalism was helpful in making for a stress free ceremony and reception. My recommendation would be to use the vendors from their preferred list. All vendors, (florist, band, caterer, bar, and photographer) used at my daughter's ceremony and reception were from the owner's recommendations. All were superb! It was a special, delightful night and we found it helpful to let the professionals do their job and not worry about it. The Hillside Estate did not disappoint and I would recommend this venue to everyone.

When we first toured The Hillside Estate (THE) it was still under construction and required a little leap of faith. Now that our daughter's dream wedding is over, I can simply say The Hillside Estate was the best decision we made. Brittany and her team were perfect in every way. The venue was perfect in every way and quite simply provided the perfect backdrop for our daughter's dream wedding. My daughter has dreamed of her wedding since she was a little girl and The Hillside Estate brought her dreams to a reality with its elegance and timeless beauty. As a result, I will always look back on my daughter's special day and remember with vivid detail the role The Hillside Estate played in making my daughter's dream a reality. I got married last month and all I have to say is this is the BEST venue in Dallas! We originally toured with the owner last fall before the venue was officially open and immediately fell in love.. it is just so beautiful and she took the time to answer our questions and walk through every detail to really help us envision what our day could be! Once we booked, we received a guide that was so helpful as it had ideas, vendors, questions, and anything we really needed to plan our wedding. They also have an event every month that we attended a few times where you get to meet vendors and taste food and cocktails (the best drinks ever), which was great for us to be able to see what we wanted to include for our drinks. We just really loved that we didn't sign a contract and then were forgotten about as I have had a lot of friends experience. I have been in so many weddings (9 this year already) so having mine was a really big deal for me! I was extremely picky when deciding on a venue and after knowing all that I know now from my friends and family, we hands down made the best decision ever when picking hillside! Matt and I have both seen and been a part of weddings where the venue is unresponsive and not helpful at all, but we had the opposite experience as they were quick to respond, so helpful before and during wedding day and then always considerate of our needs/wants. Matt and I would recommend hillside to absolutely anyone and everyone! You will have the best wedding day!

The staff was always helpful and it was apparent that our vendors all worked together day of as there were changes that we made the week leading up that were handled seamlessly by all involved. I cannot reiterate how important it is to have a team that works together because it makes such a difference! Our planner and photographer were the ones who originally told us to look at Hillside as they said it was very different from anything else around DFW and it 100% is!There is truly no way any venues compare to the level of commitment that the staff exuded through our process. They always did their best to assist us with anything we needed (even when we called asking 100 questions about the smallest details).. Our venue coordinator on the day of was so kind and helped guide guests to the various spaces and assisted our planner with things the whole night. Truly above and beyond!I promise you won't regret having your wedding day at this beautiful venue. The experience was nothing short of amazing!

The Hillside Estate was such a dream come true for my now husband and I! We searched for months before stumbling upon this venue that was under construction and I am so glad that we continue to search for the perfect space for what we envisioned! It truly is perfect.. from the location, to the long drive up, to the beautiful indoors, we couldn't have asked for more.The various people that helped us along the way were great! Our emails and calls were answered within an hour or two, we got to try the cocktails/food and meet some of our favorite vendors at their events and the staff was always helping answer questions or bring up ideas that we had never thought of.If you are wanting your wedding day to be perfect, I recommend Hillside 1000%

I was going to be a Disney bride but then COVID happened. In changing my plans, our wedding was now going to be local to the North Dallas area. I was looking for a venue that encompassed my fairytale vision for my wedding but also had a classic elegance to it. Somehow I stumbled across the Instagram page for The Hillside Estate. We went to do a site visit while the property was just in the framing stage of construction and the moment we walked into the chapel my mom was crying and my now husband and I had goosebumps. This was the place. I am so grateful that we chose the Hillside Estate and am thankful that Disney didn’t work out because the venue surpassed my wildest dreams. The venue is absolutely gorgeous and you can tell how much thought went into every little detail. The design as well as the interior furniture are timeless and that was important to me for my pictures when I look back thirty years from now. Brittney, Alexis, Brittney’s parents and the team at the Hillside went above and beyond for us. We felt as if we made friends through the process and we miss seeing them! I wish I could have my wedding all over again. At the Hillside Estate everything is possible, we got to truly make our dreams into a reality with so many spaces to decorate. We even had fireworks as our guests watched from the gorgeous courtyard. Do not hesitate in booking The Hillside Estate, you will not be disappointed. Thank you so much Brittney and team!

We recently celebrated a wedding at Hillside Estate for my daughter and it was a delightful experience! The venue itself is beautiful and each space was well thought through. The staff was on top of it from the beginning to end.. We would get email responses within a few hours no matter what and they always answered the phone and helped talk through our many questions/ideas. I appreciated the detail that they took during the meeting and the help they gave on wedding day. We felt that they really wanted the best for us throughout the experience and if you ever take the time to chat with the owner on why she started the venue, it definitely shows as my son got married at a venue similar to this one and the experience was night and day different. Our whole family is very grateful for the time we had at Hillside and we wish them so much success in the future as I know they will have just that. I am SO glad I found The Hillside Estate’s account on my Instagram Discover page back in December. At the time, my fiancé and I were looking for wedding venues in the DFW area. When I realized the venue was under construction, I was hesitant. I reached out on their website, and Brittney, the owner, called me within 30 minutes. My fiancé and I went to tour the venue at an Open House and got all our questions answered. Even under construction, I knew this wedding venue was one of a kind. My fiancé and I loved that we could get married in the indoor chapel since we were set to get married in August! Seeing the venue go from construction to final product was incredible. The venue is so stunning on its own, and the natural lightening is amazing! During the months leading up to my wedding, all of the staff were quick to answer my questions. On the wedding day, everything went so smoothly! We are so thankful we chose The Hillside Estate.

I am SO glad I found The Hillside Estate’s account on my Instagram Discover page back in December. At the time, my fiancé and I were looking for wedding venues in the DFW area. When I realized the venue was under construction, I was hesitant. I reached out on their website, and Brittney, the owner, called me within 30 minutes. My fiancé and I went to tour the venue at an Open House and got all our questions answered. Even under construction, I knew this wedding venue was one of a kind. My fiancé and I loved that we could get married in the indoor chapel since we were set to get married in August! Seeing the venue go from construction to final product was incredible. Let me start by saying how STUNNING this venue is. We really took a leap of faith booking a venue during construction, but thankfully it turned out so much more beautiful than we could have imagined. The pictures and videos do not do it justice! Our wedding day was perfect and without this venue or team, it wouldn’t have been the same. The in-house bar has the best cocktails I’ve ever had, the caterer we chose from the list was great and the venue staff made sure we had everything thought through at our final meeting and helped us catch some mistakes/things that were looked over. They were always kind, responsive and thorough which I really appreciated! We toured with the owner when it was being built and you can tell how much thought and care when into this space. We couldn’t have chosen a more perfect place to get married and we are so thankful to have found The Hillside Estate!

I could not have asked for a more perfect wedding day! I booked the venue when it was under construction, but the staff did such a great job sharing the vision and it turned out to be a beautiful venue.. definitely the most beautiful in Dallas area as I looked everywhere!During the 8 months leading up to my wedding, all of the staff would answer my questions and how quickly they would respond to emails or ALWAYS answer the phone did not go unnoticed!On my wedding day, there were a few hiccups that took place due to one of my vendors that I found out about afterwards. Thankfully Brittney was there and stepped in to make sure it was perfect. She did not have to do everything she did, but I am forever grateful that she did!Thank you Hillside staff for being so helpful and friendly through the process and thank you Brittney for making sure my day was perfect! Best venue in DFW!

My daughter and son n law married at Hillside Estate June 12th. Brittany was her wedding coordinator as well. There was literally no stone left unturned. Everything was orchestrated perfectly from the chosen vendors like Jordan & Jordan’s crew at Vestals catering to the amazing flowers ,photographers ,band and bar service . The venue is gorgeous and laid out perfectly for guests to enjoy to the fullest. Everyone was professional talented ,creative and friendly to boot… I highly recommend Brittany & Josh’s Hillside Estates venue and the vendors they choose.. they even threw in creative surprises we would have not thought about and made the entire process from beginning to end a joy and worry free… thx for an amazing experience for our daughters special day.. we will treasure it with the fondest memories thanks to everyone involved in every detail

We booked the venue while it was still under construction and had no worries the entire time. Brittney and staff are every bit of the word awesome. Any concern or question was always answered fully and in a timely manner whether we spoke to Brittney or Alexis. It was great to see the venue from foundation to the WOW factor that it is now. My absolute fave feature is the natural lighting throughout and the floors within the hallways, and can’t forget about the gorgeous bridal suite. Swoon!!! You will not regret tying the knot at this beautiful establishment, from your ceremony in the chapel, to cocktail hour on the terrace or hillside to your reception in the ballroom, oh and let’s not forget all the areas for the best photo ops ever. I’m so happy for Brittney and look forward to being a guest at someone’s wedding since I’ve experienced being a bride there!!! Continued growth to the Hillside!!

Meet the The Hillside Estate Team
Brittney Samford + Fam. (Owner) The Hillside Estate all began when Josh & Brittney were going through their wedding planning experience and it was apparent that there was a need for something different. It started out as a pipe dream, but after a year of searching for the perfect piece of land and another 2 years designing and constructing, the dream became a reality. The one thing that the family agreed upon in the beginning was to make sure that the venue was a space that felt like an escape from the typical wedding environment.
