Casey White(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 22-02-2022 My husband and I got married in the Artillery Barracks at The Historic Trust and it was such a wonderful experience! Mary helped us plan from day one all the way up until our wedding day. They offer way more than what is listed on the website, don't be afraid to ask lots of questions while booking this place! We got a huge room for the gals to get ready in with natural light, lots of mirrors, and a little kitchenette. Since we decided to do our own catering, there was a full-sized restaurant grade fridge and kitchen area where we got to store all of our drinks and food the morning of which was super helpful. Plus an ice machine! We had full range of the banquet room to set up any and all tables/chairs we wanted, and there was plenty of room for everyone! The only thing I wish we did differently was take them up on the 1 hour rehearsal. Thinking back, idk why I thought we didn't need it! Reviewed on 11-03-2022

Karen Reed(bride)4 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 01-12-2012 The Marshall House in Vancouver was an ideal location for my recent wedding. We chose Christmas time because of the way the mansion would be decorated. It was warm and intimate, requiring very little work on my part to decorate. \rWorking with the staff was very easy. They were experienced and knowledgeable, making it a breeze to do the planning. I was able to use my own caterer, which allowed me to keep the costs very reasonable. The cost of the venue itself was also very reasonable compared to most other area venues.\rThe only negative feedback I have is that I chose to have a seated dinner, which meant that I had to split my guests into two rooms for the reception. The rooms are connected by the foyer, so people weren't totally isolated from one another, but we did have one guest upset that they weren't in the main room (which can seat 50 guests). This wouldn't have been an issue with fewer guests (I had 70), or if we'd not done a seated dinner.\rOther than that one issue, my event went off beautifully, and I have nothing but great things to say about the venue and its staff.
