The Holiday Inn in Alexandria, MN presents its wedding banquet hall, along with the Barn. We are easy to find and get to as we are situated right off I-94. We pride ourselves on ensuring all our guests are well taken care of, paralleling small-town values with modern-day conveniences. We have (2) separate wedding venues, our most popular being the barn. The barn is located on the south side of the hotel and holds up to 288 adults. It is rustic, with a unique 2-level, rounded roof, structural design, inviting a mix of nostalgia and present-day style. This venue does not require a lot of décor, it is warm and beautiful as is! We are also proud to talk about our ballroom. The ballroom holds up to 325 adults and has a large dance floor suitable for scores of small group dancers and/or will accommodate those who need a whole lotta danc'n space :) The Ballroom is located within the hotel with easy access to a small patio. We would be happy to set up a room block for your family and friends! We have 148 guest rooms with a large recreation area. Play some volleyball, shoot some hoops or compete in a game of cornhole. We also have a game room, and exercise room for our guests to enjoy. The large pool area houses a kiddy pool for the kids, a hot tub for the loungers and a large pool for those who would like to brush up on their backstroke. Don't miss out on a great experience! Stop in at our in-house restaurant, Willy Ts Tavern and Grill- It has it all, culture, great service, and fantastic food!

Cherrie was so great to work with! She made sure that we liked the food we were serving and was able to help us make our day run smoothly! The event staff was great as well, all super nice and accommodating!

No experience at the barn, but the staff at the hotel is difficult to get in touch with. I also dropped off some gift bags for some of my overflow guests staying there and they didn't get delivered. They were then disbursed throughout the staff. The manager did try to make the ends meet afterwards, but just seemed the whole ordeal was poorly managed.

Can not imagine a better place to have had our reception. The staff was impeccable, the food was delicious, the setting was intimate, ZERO complaints. I was overwhelmed with how much everything exceeded my expectations.

We were married outside of Alexandria, MN and had our reception and dance at The Barn. We had SO many compliments and comments on the unique and beautiful space, food quality, friendliness of staff, and the ease of onsite accommodations. I would HIGHLY recommend The Barn at The Holiday Inn Alexandria to anyone!
