Nestled on 22 acres, The Homestead is a serene event venue located in Willis, TX. This unique event space boasts a stunning all-black exterior that creates a bold atmosphere for your celebration of love. The two Suites & Lobby are well-appointed with stylish and luxurious furniture, while two cavernous rooms allow you to fully tailor your experience. Situated just two minutes off of I-45 and surrounded by numerous hotels, this venue offers both convenience and seclusion for your special day. Upon arrival, you will immediately notice the striking all-black exterior of The Homestead. Your guests are welcomed through stunning nine-foot tall sliding glass doors. Immediately you'll notice a 4,000-square-foot patio on the backside of the building. The deck is west-facing, ensuring a dramatic Texas sunset and one-acre pond as the backdrop for your open-air ceremony, cocktail hour, or al fresco dinner reception. From here, explore the 1,500-square-foot Lobby, which boasts an inspiring collaboration of both mid-century and modern accents. Continuing towards the north wing, you'll find a 2,441-square-foot Ceremony and/or Cocktail Room. If you wish to feature your Ceremony here, there are two altar options for you to consider: two large, westward-facing black trimmed windows, flanking a white bricked wall OR the north end wall which is a blank canvas of elegant white that you can fully customize and enhance with your own dĂ©cor. Next, sidle into the 3,908-square-foot Great Room, which can comfortably accommodate up to 260 seated guests. The sloped ceilings in this room are low enough to give it an intimate ambiance and make suspending decorations easy. The space is outfitted with custom lighting and a built-in lounge inspired bar- the wow-factor of the room being a large, 48x17 feature window. On the big day, two beautiful get-ready suites are available to use for day-of preparations. The Bloom Room is furnished with soft pink furnishings, a gorgeous floral wall, professional vanities, cubby holes, a dress rack, and plush furniture. A bubbly bar and light breakfast are provided complimentary by the venue. The Retreat is painted a deep emerald green and features modern furniture, a poker table, an art deco bar, and two changing rooms. While The Homestead presents a unique point of view by way of design, it can also confidently exist as is or it can be personally customized to meet the aesthetic of your dream wedding. Catering is provided through the award-winning The Posh Affair. The venueâs extensive collection of beverages includes an all-Texas lineup of craft beer, wine, spirits, and craft cocktails. For all your other needs, you are welcome to bring in your own reputable vendors. The Homestead was a dream location. We wanted something unique, modern, elevated and customizable. This venue was all of those things and more. A year after our wedding, and our guests still talk about the food, the bar, the service, and the design of our wedding and venue. Alexis and her team are top notch. I couldnât have asked for a better, more memorable day.

We loved working with The Homestead. We actually booked our wedding before the venue was even finished being built. Alexis did an amazing job of sharing her vision and ensuring us everything would run smoothly. They definitely delivered on the big day. We had a beautiful wedding and loved every minute of our experience. The in-house catering from The Posh Affair was amazing. Our guests still talk about it to this day. The bar staff were awesome and the bride and groom suites are exceptional. Alexis went above and beyond to make sure our dreams came true. If we could do it all over again we wouldnât change a thing!

We literally had the best day ever! No stress at all! Not only is this venue beautiful but theyâve thought of EVERYTHING and the food was amazing! Itâs cooked on site so itâs super fresh. We had a couple of special requests and they werenât a problem at all. Super easy to work with.

Seriously the best venue anywhere near Houston! Alexis and her crew go above and beyond to make your day the absolutely best and the venue is just beyond perfect in every way. They really thought about everything when they built this venue.

Fell in love with this venue the moment I stepped foot in it! Itâs so bright, fun, and eclectic! My guests had nothing but amazing things to say about The Homestead. You can tell Alexis thought about every single spaceâs function and design. The Bridal Suite (Bloom Room) and Groom Suite were to die for!

Meet the The Homestead Team
The Tower Family (Owner) The Homestead is owned by The Tower Family: Matt, Alexis, & Tenlee. Alexis has worked in the event industry for the past 22 years. At the age of 16, she started working at a B&B that also hosted weddings on the weekends - and the rest is history! Fast forward to moving to NYC (after graduating from Baylor) she then shifted her event experience to fundraising - planning multi-million dollar fundraisers for the MDA. In 2011, she married her NJ bartender, Matt, who loved to play country music - they moved back to Alexis' home state of TX in 2012 and built The Homestead in 2022! WELCOME HOME!
