Brandon Overall(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 11-06-2022 My Wife and I (still feels weird to say that!) just got married here last weekend. They were absolutely outstanding, and I highly recommend The Hotel for weddings or other events. For the planning, we worked with Amber for most of it but she ended up leaving her position and we started working with Gabrielle about a month before the wedding. There was a little bit of confusion due to that, but we got it sorted it quickly. Both Amber and Gabrielle were extremely responsive and very willing to accommodate us for any requests we had. It was very evident that they cared about making sure our reception was what we wanted, instead of just trying to execute it in a generic fashion to meet the minimum requirements once they had our deposit. They were also extremely professional and personableThe wedding itself was perfect. Their staff were on point. The decorations were all set up well in advance and looked amazing. The room layout was logical and nothing felt crammed or too empty. The ambience and lighting were spectacular. As far as the food goes, the hors d'oeuvres were delicious, and we had lots of comments saying it was some of the best food they have ever had at a wedding. The entrees themselves were very good as well, but by that time everyone was stuffed. They kept the event moving at a good pace, and nobody was ever waiting too long for their food while others were eating. The wine glasses were never empty for very long, either. We got lots of great comments about the bartender being knowledgeable and skilled at making various kinds of drinks. I didn't get the chance to see for myself, but it sounds like he was a real pro. All in all, we couldn't have asked for a better experience for our reception venue. There were a few snags with the reservations for the room blocks, but Amber got it straightened up immediately. All the guests loved staying at The Hotel and really appreciated the location and the shuttle service they offer.I can't recommend The Hotel enough. Reviewed on 15-06-2022
Lyndsy Horn(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 11-01-2020 We had our ceremony and reception here in January for about 160 guests. The whole thing was absolutely beautiful! The staff really took care of us (the bride and groom) like we were royalty the entire night! We didn't have get up to get anything! There are also so many beautiful places to take great photos! (I was a little worried since our wedding was in January that there wouldn't be a lot of places to take nice photos indoors, but don't worry!). There's a beautiful giant fireplace, a balcony with a beautiful backdrop, a room with a wall made entirely of windows, lovely furniture (and if you want to venture outside there's a beautiful fountain/courtyard that serves as a wonderful backdrop as well). This place also took care of everything! They planned the ceremony, reception, their own cake vendor, their own beautiful center pieces, and just overall great spaces that look lovely without having to add to it. Also, the food was phenomenal (and their house wine brands were delicious). Free garage parking for guests and room blocks available for a slightly discounted rate. I would also recommend using their partner Day-of-Coordinator business (it's required to hire one for this location), Carrington Affairs- Capri was absolutely amazing and took care of EVERYTHING. We didn't have to worry about a single thing leading up to it or the day of. Also, Amber at the hotel was fantastic to work with as well and made the entire experience smooth and stress-free. Rebecca Kauten(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 30-06-2018 We had both our ceremony and reception at The Hotel, and I don't have a single complaint. Everything was perfect, and Sandy worked hard to give us the exact wedding that we wanted from the very beginning of the planning process. She was professional and responsive and handled everything. Once the ceremony was over, she handed us off to Amax, who took care of us throughout the reception. Everyone from Sandy and Amax to the hotel bar staff (especially Luke and Shannon) and individuals who provided transportation to and from the airport were kind and made our experience a dream come true. The location is gorgeous. We received many compliments from guests about the beauty and spaciousness of the rooms and the venue of the wedding. If you're looking for a unique boutique hotel, with everything in one place (we loved this - ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception all one one floor) in close proximity to the airport and entertainment for guests, this is the place. Shardonia Ellis(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 19-03-2016 I had my wedding in March 2016 at The Hotel at Arundel Preserve. I had an intimate wedding for 50 and my wedding ceremony and reception were held in two separate banquet rooms. Initially I was concerned that the rooms would not be large enough but I was quite wrong and it seated everyone comfortably in both settings. The sales team at the hotel was very knowledgeable and accommodated all of our requests with no issues. The banquet team was great as well. Not only did they do a lot of the set-up for the ceremony and reception (because I planned most of the details) but they also worked well with my other vendors, wedding coordinator and took care of our every need the night of the wedding. They also helped to figure out a work around for an issue that arose with one of my vendors. The wedding package we selected offered a good selection of Hors d'oeuvres and seated dinner options (which we chose at a tasting) and we were also able to have bar service during the entire reception. The cake included in the wedding package was also amazing. It looked exactly like I selected and was quite delicious. We were also able to select the cake flavor (lemon with raspberry filling) during our tasting at the hotel. The owner of the bakery was very nice and accommodating and made a wonderful cake. My guests were very pleased with the food and overall service and I got a lot of compliments from about how beautiful the hotel is. It offers a lot of nice places for photographs which our photographer took advantage of. Overall, I can't say enough good things about this hotel venue. It probably offers the best service and value in the DC metropolitan area. I would definitely have another event there in the future. Reviewed on 06-04-2016

Jen Rowe(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 19-01-2013 I cant not speak more highly of the staff at the hotel. Everything was just as we imagined and Julie was so amazing dealing with my ever changing requests. When picking my date of Jan 19th I NEVER ONCE considered that inauguration weekend would be an issue since we are not very close to DC but the hotel sold out quickly. The staff was so great to my family and friends that failed to make reservations in time and gave everyone rooms as they got cancellations. I am still getting so many compliments on how gorgeous the venue was : ) \r\rJen H Reviewed on 24-02-2013

Chandra Hawkins(bride)3 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 02-09-2012 The Hotel was beautiful and fit the needs of my entire party. The location was easy to get to and they actually had shuttle service for guests that were flying in from other locations. They were very easy to work with and gave great service. The only one draw back is that the food although excellent during the tasting was a bit overcooked at the actual reception. More specifically the veggies and chicken were overcooked and overly seasoned during the reception. However I will say that they are relatively new only having been open for about a year. The sales and catering department were great but were at times hard to get in touch with and slow to return calls. But at the end of the day they really were able to set the stage for our vision and make sure all the details were met and in place. Reviewed on 27-09-2012
