Hotel Landing was an absolute dream location for. Wedding reception. All throughout the year leading up the wedding, Lisa was phenomenal making adjustments to needs and wants as they came. The catering menu had the most amazing food that we have ever tasted for wedding meals. We were thrilled for our guests to enjoy on our big day. Lisa did a great job working with our wedding planner to get all the necessary decor up the day of the wedding. Hotel Landing even supplied zip ties the night before the wedding for my back drop! Truly so gracious in every way. The STAFF was amazing the day of the wedding. Everyone seemed so happy to be there and they were very timely with food. Bartenders were amazing as well. If you want a truly magical place with 5 star service, I highly recommend Hotel Landing. We will have so many fond memories getting ready in the presidential suite, to the ballroom, to the outdoor wrap around porch. (so nice for fresh air during Covid)Make sure to take advantage of the room block options. All of the suites were wonderful from what I heard from our guests. I will say the ballroom was a perfect fit for 120 people. We still had the DJ and dance floor wide open and didn’t need to ask anyone to move. :) Thank you to Lisa and her amazing team at Hotel Landing!

My daughter and son in law married in early May 2021 and hosted a beautiful wedding reception at the Hotel Landing. They booked the Presidential suite and several other rooms. We had a wonderful weekend! Covid restrictions were still in place and the Hotel Landing felt like a safe place to have the reception and the wedding. It was relaxing and very private. I was very happy with Lisa and her attention to detail. I have complicated food allergies and sensitivities and Lisa and the head chef helped create a menu that accommodated me and other wedding party members. I can't say enough good things about the reception and rehearsal dinner staff. They were attentive to our every need. The ballroom is bright and cheerful. We even used both balconies. The feeling was light and airy for an early afternoon reception. I'm sure it is just as beautiful at night. It may not be the biggest venue in town, but I'm sure it is the classiest!

The Hotel Landing was a beautiful venue to have our wedding. Our guests loved the entire night and the food was amazing! Lisa was great to work with. She made planning easy! Would highly recommend for anyone looking for a beautiful, boutique venue in Wayzata.

I booked one of the suites for two nights. Upon arriving to my room, there were dead bugs covering the bathroom counter. It was disgusting but I also understand hotels have been slow and likely short staffed, so as I was leaving for dinner I stopped by the front desk to ask them to clean while I was out. Upon arriving back, they cleaned but had missed several dead bugs and the soap tray still had bugs all over it. I cleaned the rest myself and went to sleep.That night, I woke up around 1am sweating..the AC broke. It was hot and making a loud clicking. I tried noise cancelling headphones for an hour and still couldn't sleep through it. I called the front desk and they moved me to a basic room next door because they had no one there to fix it. This was my wedding night so it was stressful to be up all those hours and moving around rooms.The next day, I asked them to fix the issue or move us to a new suite as I was getting married that day and my husband and I were staying there the night of our wedding and wanted to make sure that same thing would not happen again. They said it would be fixed. The second night, on our wedding night, around 4am the clicking came back and room got super hot - we were both up for the rest of the morning.When we checked out, the front desk didn't ask how our stay was, they didn't check in on the AC issue, they didn't even ask if everything was ok the second night. I was beyond unimpressed with the women working at the desk (the guy working the first night was sweet and helpful by doing his best and getting me into a new room and being helpful in the middle of the night). I would not recommend this hotel at all and am super disappointed with my stay. I felt like we tried to be understanding with all the things and give them a chance to fix each thing but at a certain point we were trying harder than their own staff and you realize it's just poorly run. It's not worth the risk staying here, especially if it's something special

We booked The Hotel Landing for our wedding reception while it was still under construction in March 2017 and we were so excited to see the finish space! We were able to wear hard hats and safety vests to tour with the construction manager while there was still work in progress. We were able to envision the space and knew it was going to be a beautiful spot. We also knew that it was going to have amazing food as we really didn't want a traditional wedding meal so we knew the Chefs at NineTwentyFive would be able to make that happen! During our planning process, there was a change in staffing within the hotel which made for some communication issues, but The Hotel Landing really went above and beyond to ensure our day was perfect and the service top of the line. We met with the event management five days before our wedding and they already had the ballroom setup so we could see what it would look like! We really wanted a harvest table and the dance floor in the ballroom, and given the ballroom space in comparison to our guest count (we were almost at the max capacity), they were able to make it possible! The hotel worked with our wedding planners to make sure everything was covered as well. We received so many compliments on the beautiful space, amazing staff/service, and the food! We heard that someone had accidentally spilled water at their table and as soon as they turned around to find someone to help, there was someone already there! On a side note: the hotel house keeping is amazing. We were checked on more than once to make sure everything was okay, and they also checked in to see when getting ready pictures were being taken to align with their cleaning schedules. They were so accommodating! In the end, we are so happy we booked at The Hotel Landing for our wedding reception and we can't wait to come back to celebrate our future wedding anniversaries and we are hoping to be a wedding guest someday so we can relive our own wedding!

The Hotel Landing is a modern boutique venue perfect for couples looking for a sophisticated atmosphere in the Wayzata area. The ballroom and architecture are gorgeous! The floor to ceiling windows bring in so much natural light with beautiful views. The venue staff are personable and truly take care of each client. I highly recommend this wedding venue for anyone looking to get married in the Wayzata area!

We had our wedding reception at the Hotel Landing ballroom in early June and were SO happy we did! The whole staff was amazing and very accommodating. When weather was a problem at the last minute, they coordinated having our rehearsal inside and shuttling guests to the rehearsal dinner down the street. Guests raved about the food with a good friend saying \"wedding food isn't supposed to be this good!\" They clearly know how to run an event and we couldn't have been more grateful for their support and attention during the year-long planning process! I would highly recommend the Hotel Landing as a reception venue! Plus our guests LOVED the hotel and were very happy with room block rates. Once they got to Wayzata from the airport, everything was in walking distance and there was no need to leave! Thanks to everyone at the Landing for making our big day so wonderful!
