Built circa 1812 by Major Benjamin Helm, this red-brick home was the lavish setting for fabulous parties, as he and his wife, Mary, loved to entertain guests. The property was purchased in 2017 by the current owners with a specific vision in mind. In 2019, renovations began, and the house has since been lovingly restored to become one of Central Kentucky’s most sought-after historic venues. While the red-brick exterior retains its original glory, the house’s interior features elegant, modern furnishings with an eclectic twist, giving contemporary energy to the classically-decorated space.
