The Hudson is a luxury wedding venue and event space located in downtown Wichita, KS. Situated in the arts district on Commerce Street, this stylish venue boasts exposed brick walls, industrial-style design, and both indoor and outdoor event spaces. The Hudson features three large event spaces, and can accommodate up to 350 seated guests, and 470 guests cocktail style, making it ideal for celebrations of all sizes and scales. The banquet room, Gatsby Hall, features brick walls, large warehouse windows, and a high ceiling with stunning chandeliers. The Atrium has charcoal-colored walls, reclaimed wood details, and ambient lighting. Its granite-topped bar is surrounded by rounded vintage-style windows, making it a stylish setting for relaxed mingling. Large French doors made from pine wood open out onto the Urban Garden, which is a perfect location for ceremonies, cocktail hours, and other events. An additional space is Studio 504, which can seat up to 60 guests for a banquet-style meal and features an outdoor patio. This intimate area is perfect for smaller gatherings, cocktail hours, and buffet set ups. There's also 2 suites for you and your loved one to get ready for the day. The Hudson offers a wide range of services to make your wedding as easy and stress-free as possible. Their team will take care of setup and tear-down of tables and chairs, which are also provided in every package. Additional items such as linens are available for rent. You'll even have access to high-spec floor plan software to customize the floor plan to your liking. Outside caterers are welcome, and Xclusive Events manages all bar needs. It was really important to us that we had an all-indoor venue for our July wedding and the indoor spaces at The Hudson were perfect for every part of our wedding. Our pictures look amazing too-everything was perfect.

This venue is STUNNING! It is rather pricey, but you get what you pay for here. We knew we wanted a venue with an outdoor option for the ceremony on scene. It was such a nice comfort to know we could easily move indoors if needed due to inclement weather. They sent us lots of information on their building measurements, provided vendor recommendations, and use a platform called All Seated where you can map out your tables, decor, etc. My only complaint is that they were a few minutes late to open the doors on the wedding day. I had a pretty strict timeline to follow & this definitely caused a minor meltdown, haha! Overall, I enjoyed my experience with The Hudson!

Working with the ladies at the Hudson was great. They worked with all my unique requests and made my wedding so beautiful. The pictures of the Hudson just don’t do it justice, go visit it in person and you will fall in love just like I did.

I had the pleasure of having my daughter’s wedding at the Hudson venue. It was magical ! This awesome venue provided the perfect ambience, was spacious and beautiful all on its own. The finishing touches just took it to the next level making it Simply Elegant. Ava and Jessie were awesome at helping us prepare for the big day. Despite the many questions this stressed out Mother of the Bride/Wedding coordinator had, they put my mind at ease and never made me feel as if I had a silly question. They also had such a great rapport with the several vendors we used, thus making all the details congeal together perfectly. It was the perfect place for our family and friends to come together to celebrate this amazing life milestone. I highly recommend the Hudson.

We LOVED working with The Hudson! The Venue is so charming and unique. There are so many gorgeous spaces in the Hudson the bridal suite is so beautiful and the outdoor area is perfect any time of year. All my guests loved the space. When you walk in and see Gatsby hall it’s breathtaking! The exposed brick & gorgeous chandelier make it super easy to decorate- you can’t go wrong because it’s already so beautiful. Ava and Jesse were amazing to work with! They’re so helpful and have great ideas. You know exactly what to expect. They’re so professional and organized but also so friendly and fun to work with. Whenever I had a question they got back to me right away! My guest count went up and they were so helpful showing me options and ideas for seating. I can’t recommend this place enough! We have no regrets! Best night ever!!

Love this place. Love Jessie and Ava. So many great points to share, we don’t know where to start. They made us feel so welcome and allowed our planning team (AKA My mom, her best friend, and the day-of coordinator) to ask a million questions without ever seeming impatient. It has exactly the look we wanted. I personally was worried the brick and concrete would mess with the acoustics like I’ve seen at other similar venues but everyone heard the toasts and music just fine! Plus my husband loved that we could play some football for our guests while we were off taking pictures during cocktail hour. This place is a dream, it’s no wonder we picked it immediately after our first tour! We made the right choice!

My wedding at the Hudson was absolutely perfect! they make everything so easy! The Venue is absolutely stunning and the staff amazing! Everything went so smoothly! Ava and Jesse were absolutely incredible and you can tell, they really are passionate about what they do and working with them was a breeze. Thanks to the Hudson my wedding day was absolutely beautiful and one of the best days of my life.

4.5 for the Hudson! It is such a wonderful venue and the staff is very helpful and work with you all of the way through the wedding day! They do a really good job helping you to build the reception hall and design it to look great no matter the reception size! They were very responsive to our questions! I wish they had a recommended company for cleaning because our wedding party ended up taking out the trash at the end of the night. We had one snafu on the wedding day where a miscommunication resulted in us getting into the venue an hour late so just make sure the day before the wedding you communicate with the staff!

The Hudson is a stunning venue that captures timeless elegance with a modern/industrial feel.Prior to our big day, the ladies at The Hudson sat down with us and helped us plan out all of our details. This was extremely helpful, because we were planning our big day by ourselves. They also answered any questions along the way and were able to provide several recommendations for other vendors.We also chose to use the venue as both our Ceremony and Reception location and the ladies at The Hudson with their crew made the transition smooth. There is plenty of space to have a cocktail hour for guests to allow a centralized location for all parts of the wedding day.We would highly recommend this venue and their incredible staff!

Ava and everyone was fantastic! Went above and beyond for all our requests and made the whole process comfortable. We always had questions and she was more than willing to answer all of them. I'm someone who really needed to have the face-to-face meetings during the planning process, and she was very willing to meet whenever we wanted to add or change something or simply go over details. The venue was gorgeous as well! Plenty of room for us and our 240 guests to celebrate!

Booking The Hudson before construction had really even begun should have been stressful for a Bride, right!? It wasn't. Jessie and team described their vision perfectly and made it come to life in our 11 month engagement. It was nothing short of everything and more than they projected it to be. Not only is the venue beautiful but the staff is out of this world. Jessie was always there to answer my questions and give me wedding advice when I needed it. She made executive decisions for me when she knew I was tired of making them. Her vendor list is wonderful and we can't rave enough about our dream of a wedding we had at The Hudson. Worth every penny. Thanks Jessie, Ava and team. We love you guys!
