The Hutton House is a beautiful venue for a wedding. Online photos don't do it justice! It's even more beautiful in real life. Such a lovely \"template\" to decorate and they had good recommendations on any question we asked. The staff communicates clearly, and we received many compliments on what a beautiful venue we had. Especially for a January wedding, it was a treat to have both the ceremony and the reception in the same venue.

The Hutton House is a beautiful venue for a wedding. Online photos don't do it justice! It's even more beautiful in real life. Such a lovely \"template\" to decorate and they had good recommendations on any question we asked. The staff communicates clearly, and we received many compliments on what a beautiful venue we had. Especially for a January wedding, it was a treat to have both the ceremony and the reception in the same venue.

The Hutton House was the most gorgeous, stunning venue and we could not imagine getting married anywhere else. The team was so easy to work with and everyone was beyond friendly. We had the best day ever and our photos turned out so well. We highly recommend having your wedding or any other event held at Hutton House.

We were so blessed to be able to have our wedding at the Hutton house. While there was some staff turn over - everyone we worked with was incredible and all made sure things went exactly how we wanted them. I was so prepared for things to go wrong at some point because that's life and nothing did. Our day was literally perfect and if we had to do it again we would do it here in a heartbeat

We loved Hutton House! Our wedding day couldn't have gone more perfectly. Everything went according to plan and if something went wrong I had no clue it happened. They have such a great reputation with local vendors, everyone we used loved working with Hutton House. From the moment we saw it online we knew it was the perfect venue. We put down a deposit before even seeing it in person, because they have done such a good job documenting it on their website, I felt like I already knew everything I needed to based off the website and social media.The space is so beautiful, the perfect merge of modern but clean and classic. It is very well kept. Has two get ready rooms that they keep updated often and are so beautiful. They have lots of extra options to add like lawn games, a podium, different wooden tables (for an extra cost). HH gave an awesome variety of preferred venders from all different price points. Supplied linens, have in house bar with lots of options. Our experience with Morgen (sale consultant), Stephanie (Planner) and Morgans (Day of onsite consultants) were all excellent. Highly recommend!

Hutton House is a lovely place, but very disappointed with the staff and the whole process. Weddings are already stressful, and we switched coordinators from Hutton House 4 times and the last one had another full time job. We pay over $10,000 and other fees, the least have a full time staff member I can communicate with and get answers back in a timely manner. The money process is terrible. We gave them a check over 3 weeks ago and it’s still not processed. These are large checks…we are expect money back from our deposit and beverage minimum. Why can’t this just be figured out at once instead of me owning Hutton House money and then give me a refund later. The hidden fees are a lot. They are not clear on them all. It’s bad. For the amount of money we pay, there should be any hidden fees. The only reason why it’s not a 1 star, is because of how beautiful the place is. Just be prepared to have some pain points, but a beautiful wedding.

We toured a few venues but Hutton House just felt right -- the Courtyard, Fireside room and Lakeside room for the reception everything is beautiful. We had our wedding in the courtyard which was a dream, but it felt good to have a plan B in the Fireside room which would be just as wonderful. Day of was amazing and everything felt smooth and well organized. Our guests raved about the venue! What a gem in the middle of the cities. We utilized multiple vendors off of their recommended list who also did not disappoint. We could not imagine getting married anywhere else!

The best venue around!! It truly has it all… we were able to have our ceremony in the beautiful courtyard, cocktail hour in the fireside room/courtyard, and dinner in the lakeside room. You have a private upstairs for wedding party to get ready in with plenty of space for everyone! Parking for guests overnight. You truly can do it all here. The staff is wonderful & you can truly customize the space to make it your own. We couldn’t have picked a better place for our special day!

From the moment we walked in on our tour, the atmosphere was enchanting. I knew it was THEE spot to host. Hutton House is a great backdrop for any decor style. It is modern, airy, and welcoming. The natural lights made for stunning photos. I can’t forget to mention the bridal suite is top notch for getting ready, too! We especially loved the courtyard and the opportunity for guests to play games outdoors under the cafe lights. No other venue has such a unique offering.Stephanie went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly, from day one. She is incredibly organized and on top of it! Our guests were blown away by the beauty of the space and the fun vibe. It truly made our special day unforgettable and was a dream come true. If I could give this venue 10 stars I would. This past weekend was an absolute dream of mine. There was never another place that I was going to get married other than the Hutton House. It is an absolute beautiful venue with the perfect layout to be as creative as you would like. Stephanie was a pleasure to work with from the start, as she was extremely organized, personable and driven to make our day the best it could be. This venue has it all and in my opinion is the best there is around in Minnesota! Definitely consider taking a look if you are venue searching!

If I could give this venue 10 stars I would. This past weekend was an absolute dream of mine. There was never another place that I was going to get married other than the Hutton House. From the modern/simple look to the flow throughout the venue, we were so excited for our special day and it did not disappoint! The planning coordinators and staff helping us plan from start to finish did a wonderful job and it ended up being a beautiful day! It was nice to have on-site rentals with the courtyard lights for outside as well as the outdoor games for entertainment during cocktail hour and beyond. We also loved the location of the venue and the parking was a plus for guests!

Hutton House was an amazing venue for our wedding celebration. The extra amenities (getting ready suites, free parking, outdoor space, etc.) made it a really easy and seamless operation day of. The space is bright and beautiful and worked as a blank canvas for our design vision. The staff is incredibly professional and friendly, they helped us through the many steps of the day. While they are on the higher end of some other venues, we personally felt it was well worth it for the reasons listed above!

The Hutton House had everything I was looking for in a wedding venue - clean and modern décor, an outdoor space, and the ability to host all parts of the wedding at a single location. It met my expectations and then some! The light in the space and the multiple statement locations (the staircase, the fireplace, the front of house) made for absolutely gorgeous pictures. My guests have all commented how nice the flow of the night was, as we were able to flow directly from the ceremony in the fireside room, to cocktail hour outdoors, to our reception in the lakeside room. I loved the ability to easily transition from bright lighting during dinner to dance floor vibes afterwards. I valued the ability to pick my own caterer as well. Liquid Motion, who provide the bar service, were able to accommodate our signature cocktail requests, and the service was great. My only complaint was the inability to keep any pre-purchased wine that went unused.

I had dreamed of getting married at The Hutton House since 2018, and that dream came true on May 7, 2023. From the second we toured The Hutton House, my husband and I knew it was the right venue. Throughout our engagement, Event Coordinator Stephanie was so organized, enjoyable, and easy to work with. Sam on the Hutton House staff was there on the morning of our wedding and she was very welcoming and helpful. The venue was already setup when we arrived, which surprised and impressed me since there was a wedding the night before. Everything was spotless. Our guests and wedding party absolutely loved The Hutton House. We got countless comments about how beautiful and perfect it was from the Fireside Room to the Lakeside Room to the Courtyard and the getting ready suites. Our guests really appreciated that we didn't have to do a room flip. We wanted an all black, white and gold wedding, so Hutton House's clean black and white vibe was the perfect backdrop. The bathrooms were clean and sanitary. The only thing that would make Hutton House better would be if there were a private bathroom in the bridal suite so the bride doesn't have to worry about the groom/groomsmen seeing her when she has to use the restroom throughout the day. There is a bathroom next to the bridal suite, but you still have to walk into the hallway to reach it. Everything else is truly immaculate. I can't imagine getting married anywhere else, and I would choose Hutton House again in a heartbeat! Definitely worth the investment!

I had dreamed of getting married at The Hutton House since 2018, and that dream came true on May 7, 2023. From the second we toured The Hutton House, my husband and I knew it was the right venue. Throughout our engagement, Event Coordinator Stephanie was so organized, enjoyable, and easy to work with. Sam on the Hutton House staff was there on the morning of our wedding and she was very welcoming and helpful. The venue was already setup when we arrived, which surprised and impressed me since there was a wedding the night before. Everything was spotless. Our guests and wedding party absolutely loved The Hutton House. The beauty of The Hutton House speaks for itself, but the staff is what makes it a world class venue. We specifically worked with Stephanie who is an amazing communicator. She responded to all emails in a timely manner and explained everything clearly so we knew exactly what to expect day-of. We also hired our day of coordinator through The Hutton House which I highly recommend. We worked with Savannah, who is not only the nicest human, but is incredibly detail oriented, organized, collaborative, calming, and just the person you want to run point on your wedding day. She made sure everything stayed on track and ran smoothly, and our perfect day could not have been possible without her!!

From the time I went to a Christmas market at Hutton House 5+ years ago, I'd imagined my wedding there some day. When the time came to finally look for a venue, I was SO thrilled to tour Hutton House and by no surprise was totally amazed - it is a gorgeous space, any time of the year, and perfect as-is or can be dressed up however you like! After locking in our date, we worked with a few different coordinators but mostly worked with Stephanie and dang were we lucky!! She was my most responsive vendor that I had and was a true joy to work with. She was so flexible as I asked her to change layouts and beverage quotes a million times - including endless questions, even sending me some inspo via texts along the way. I truly felt like she was on our side. The price is obviously up there, and the extra hours/rentals/etc. are all out of the base price, but it worked for us/our budget and was worth it in our opinion. Our guests loved the location, thought it was beautiful in the winter time, and also noted how the staff (including the beverage team) was super kind. Hutton House manages the beverage service and if you're thinking about a specialty cocktail..do it!! Worth every penny and something people loved!! From the time I went to a Christmas market at Hutton House 5+ years ago, I'd imagined my wedding there some day. When the time came to finally look for a venue, I was SO thrilled to tour Hutton House and by no surprise was totally amazed - it is a gorgeous space, any time of the year, and perfect as-is or can be dressed up however you like! After locking in our date, we worked with a few different coordinators but mostly worked with Stephanie and dang were we lucky!! She was my most responsive vendor that I had and was a true joy to work with. She was so flexible as I asked her to change layouts and beverage quotes a million times - including endless questions, even sending me some inspo via texts along the way. I truly felt like she was on our side. The price is obviously up there, and the extra hours/rentals/etc. are all out of the base price, but it worked for us/our budget and was worth it in our opinion. Our guests loved the location, thought it was beautiful in the winter time, and also noted how the staff (including the beverage team) was super kind. Hutton House manages the beverage service and if you're thinking about a specialty cocktail..do it!! Worth every penny and something people loved!! HH also has amazing other vendor relationships that are familiar with the venue and work seamlessly with the space. 10/10 :)

My now husband and I were fortunate enough to be able to book the Hutton House for our wedding, and the experience was nothing but positive from start to finish. Wedding planning was not something that came naturally to me, but the HH staff was incredibly patient with me and always happy to offer guidance when needed. The staff is very communicative, organized, and kind. In the early stages of wedding planning, one thing I felt strongly about was a venue equipped to host a beautiful outdoor ceremony but have a solid indoor backup plan. Our wedding happened to be on an October Friday just three days after an 80 degree Monday. We woke up to snow on Friday. Our indoor ceremony was absolutely gorgeous, and the last minute change was entirely stress-free thanks to their phenomenal staff. We were extremely lucky to get the Friday that we did because the HH books FAST, but this is for good reason! If you have the opportunity, I cannot recommend enough that you book with them! You'll hold your wedding day in your heart for the rest of your life, and the HH venue and staff truly helped shape that day for me.

They just want to extract every cent out of your wallet and do it while making you feel like you’re lucky they let you book their venue. They are inflexible and hostile. Instead of working with you to make you big day great they complicate every step of the way.1. On top of just booking the venue they require you to hire a licensed day of coordinator which can cost +$2,0002. We wanted halal food but they don’t have any preferred halal food vendors they work with. They required us to pay a $1,000 to use an outside vendor and required that they must approve the vendor for us to use. They have a kosher preferred food vendor, but not a halal one. So we are hit with the fee when they should provide more diverse food options.3. Vendors aren’t allowed to use the Hutton house dumpster. They expect your vendor to get all the trash after the wedding and put it in their truck to throw out somewhere. (Makes no sense)4. When you book you get the whole venue for the wedding and on the day of the wedding staff person told our relatives they couldn’t use the upstairs rooms to change because we didn’t book that part.5. They told us we were too loud during the wedding reception ( They just couldn’t stand our cultural music)6. They stood at the staircase watching guests dance snickering to each other and staring with contempt. (See photos) Our guests felt unwelcome and uncomfortable.0/10 do not recommend. Do disrespect yourself or your wallet by having your event here.

It was the first venue we toured and I instantly knew it was the one (we continued to tour other venues but not a single one compared). Not only is the space absolutely beautiful but the team at HH is something else. Catherine specifically (our DOC) , was so attentive throughout the entire process and went above and beyond to make the day as seamless as ever. As a bride who was planning a wedding with all of her family and friends states away, it was so special to work with this team and learn how supportive and helpful they really are. Not to mention, every vendor we booked was so eager to work with us knowing we booked at HH :) They too absolutely love it there! If you're thinking about booking your big day here.. DO IT! We had such a wonderful experience at the Hutton House!! We have had so many guests comment about how much they loved it- how beautiful it was, the layout, and the ability to have a live band/fun dance floor while still having a good space for kids (the courtyard). We had a lot of kids at the wedding so we wanted it to be fun for them while also being fun for adults (i.e. open bar/raging dance floor) and the outdoor area was so perfect for them! The kids could be outside and because of the somewhat secluded nature of the courtyard/only one outdoor exit/HH security, the parents didn’t have to be constantly on guard and could also enjoy the reception.

Absolutely amazing wedding venue! When we first saw pictures on The Knot, we knew we had to do a tour. Then the first step in the door we knew we wanted them! The space is beautiful, the staff are all so kind and responsive. Our event manager Stephanie did an amazing job getting us all of the documents and invoices on time. We used their in house day-of-coordinator and got paired with Savannah and although our schedules didn't work out to meet in person before the wedding, she was completely responsive and helpful with any planning questions we had. Even if she didn't know the answer herself, she would reply right away to tell us our message was received and that she would check with someone else to get an answer. On the day of, Savannah and Stephanie were extremely helpful. We pretty much did nothing for setup or teardown. They handled the courtyard flip so quickly that I didn't even notice anyone moving anything. They also continuously checked in with us to ask if everything was alright or if we needed anything. They are amazing human beings. 10/10 would recommend and use their space again for an event!Regarding the negative reviews, people need to calm down... Yes it is expensive but all of the prices are laid out to you after you do the tour. The base price is for the venue. Anything else is an add-on. Everything is also stated in the contract that adds on are, well, add ons!The Hutton House is an amazing space and we wouldn't have changed a thing!

I will start by stating the obvious, The Hutton House is a beautiful venue. No one can deny that. The stunning white walls, fireplace mantle, and grand staircase make the best backdrops for the most perfect and clean pictures. However, beyond that, The Hutton House fails. The most stressful part of my wedding was dealing with The Hutton House as a vendor. Communication was exceptionally poor. Not only was it hard to get a hold of my venue managers and staff at The Hutton House, but I also showed up for our walk-through meeting just 2 weeks before my wedding and no one was there. After finally getting a hold of my venue manager, she did apologize for forgetting to cancel, but when your wedding is two weeks away, that is a hard pill to swallow. On top of communication issues, be forewarned that you will pay FAR MORE than you initially believe you will from the contract you receive. There are a LOT of hidden fees that you cannot get out of once the contract is signed. Fees that account for thousands of dollars because they nickel and dime for EVERYTHING. Additionally, if you do not use one of their preferred vendors for catering, you will be paying a lot of extra money that is not necessary. The Hutton House draws money out of you, making it seem like they are capitalizing on what is already an expensive day. They make money for literally doing nothing (with their hidden fees). The Hutton House also treated my vendors very poorly. It isn't in the contract, but YOU are responsible for trash removal. You cannot use the trash at The Hutton House (Ummm what?!). They also made my caterer take the BAR trash out. The Hutton House supplied the alcohol, they should have removed their own trash. I was so appauled. I have never been to a wedding venue where the couple is responsible for finding their own trash removal. My caterer ended up having to take the catering trash back in their CLEAN food van which is not sanitary. The Hutton House also told my caterer they were responsible for cleaning the outside windows of the venue because they made them dirty (which was not the case. My wedding was in December, and there is dirt from snow and slush everywhere). Thankfully my vendor took pictures of everything before they walked into The Hutton House and they refused to be responsible for this. And while I have so much more I could say, I will end with this... It was over a month AFTER my wedding and I was still dealing with The Hutton House. When I finally thought I was done with all the drama they created, they refused to answer my questions when they inappropriately billed me for the drink service. Their itemization is not truly itemized in the way you would think. Ultimately they charged me gratuity on non-consumables and when questioned, they were crickets. I still to this day have not heard back from them. I eventually cut my losses and gave up because I was emotionally drained from The Hutton House experience. Please, do NOT get married at The Hutton House. As the bride, it left a bad taste in my mouth after my wedding, which is not what you dream of as a bride. Of Note: I am not the first person to have this opinion. I have talked to numerous people who have now been married at The Hutton House and they too have had the same experience. I am just the only one brave enough to speak out.

The Hutton House is one of the most beautiful venues in Minnesota. My husband and I are so grateful we were able to have our wedding ceremony there. We worked closely with Nicki and Lauren who ensured our day ran smoothly. We were very pleased and impressed with the quality of service received. The venue is stunning, I feel like that speaks for itself. There is an indoor and outdoor option which is really nice and your guests do not need to travel to different locations for ceremony and reception which we really wanted to avoid. We had a difficult time finding a venue that could hold all of our guests and still encapsulate the details we were looking for while staying in the cities so that our guests wouldn’t have to travel very far as most of our family live in the area. One of the really nice things about this venue is that it’s very simple and clean so it really leaves a lot of options for decorating your event exactly how you want it. You can keep it very simple and sleek or you can make it completely different to tailor to your vision. I gave this four stars because it’s pretty pricey and this piece was probably the trickiest to navigate with covid to be honest. I’ll mention that though we had communication with a handful of their staff over the years planning, the person we worked with by far the most was Hattie and she was really great. If you are looking at this venue, I highly recommend getting in contact with her because she is really wonderful.

The Hutton House is a beautiful venue. But with the amount of trouble they caused me, I almost don’t think it was worth it. You pay an extreme amount of money for 1 day, and I get it, you’re renting the space for the whole day. But if I’m renting the space, I think the other ammeneties should be included. They charged me extra for lights and tables even after I had thought I paid my whole balance. Their preferred caterers are a range of basic wedding - extreme $$ just for food! There was such little abs poor communication. Nobody ever answers the phone there. Emailing takes at least 1 week for someone to respond. They told me I needed a coordinator and almost didn’t accept the one I arranged to have 1 WEEK before my wedding date! They pushed back my walk through to 3 days prior to my wedding. It was frustrating to not get the answers you needed. It was also frustrating when you make yourself available and communicate very effectively and they still don’t listen. Not to mention, I had nothing but clear liquids in my suite on the day of and they’re charging me for a “stain”. As if I spilled a whole bottle of red wine all over their carpet! Unbelievable.

The Hutton House was the perfect venue for our wedding! My husband and I booked it without even touring it in person - that's how much we loved it! Hattie was AMAZING to work with. She was so knowledgeable & personable! We worked with Savannah as we got closer to our day, and she was also very nice & professional. Most of the communication was done via email, which had its plusses and minuses. I'm sure she was working with many couples (especially amidst COVID) but it often took 2 or 3 days to get an email response and I felt like we had a few communication issues during the planning process. I think my husband and I agreed we would have preferred to just set up a few longer phone calls in order to work out all the details, rather than a long email thread. I appreciated the final in-person planning meeting and felt confident that our day was going to go off without a hitch! The day of, everything was gorgeous! We loved that the venue had a large parking lot for our guests & we were able to utilize all 3 of the event spaces throughout the evening. The courtyard outdoors was the perfect spot for our cocktail hour & I loved the café lighting! The bar service they provided was fantastic & all of the staff was friendly to us and our guests! As with any wedding venue, we felt a little nickel & dimed ($250/hour to add extra time, like to get ready there in the morning, even though we were the only ones utilizing the venue that day - yikes!) but that's to be expected, I suppose. Overall, it was a wonderful venue & we are very glad we chose it! Thank you!

We arranged our March '21 wedding reception at The Hutton House last July when we thought the pandemic would be eased and we could go hold our wedding as planned, that ended up not to be the case. When the state essentially shut down wedding receptions in November of '20 we held tight until February's updates to hopefully hold our reception. As that announcement came out we realized we still couldn't have a reception. The Hutton House and our other vendors agreed to hold open our date until the next March update and we came up with a Thursday alternative date in June. Two weeks prior to our event, the state opened up larger gatherings. HH worked with us to proceed with all the last minute details and we held our reception on the original date. What I can tell you is that our HH Coordinator, Savannah, and Day of Event Coordinator Beth were beyond gracious and extremely helpful. Our event was stunning and even during a rainstorm, the venue is beautiful!! Their bartenders were oh so fun and friendly and our security guard was professional and courteous. Every guest was awed at the beauty of HH and together with our florist, it lived up to everything my daughter and her now husband had dreamed of. The pictures are outstanding! Thank you to The Hutton House and their staff for providing an amazing wedding reception experience.

The Hutton House was truly a dream. I don't even know where to start because every aspect was just perfect! Savannah and Hattie were incredibly helpful as we spent months and months and months planning. They were responsive, flexible, creative, and just so caring. We were a COVID wedding which made us be in communication nearly every day as things were changing. Not only was Savannah extremely quick and thorough in her responses, but she was flexible and creative in how we could make our day still be everything we wanted it to be while showing the utmost care as she knew we were struggling a lot with COVID's impacts. The moment that sealed the deal was the day before our wedding, we found out our original wedding planner was no longer able to attend. Savannah was immediately in communication to try and find a solution, and she ended up being our day-of-coordinator with less than 24 hours notice! She worked with our other wedding planners budget and really came through for us as a true lifesaver on our day. The gratitude we feel towards her is immense! Not only were the people amazing leading up to the wedding, but we received so many comments from guests on how professional, thorough, and efficient all The Hutton House staff were at our wedding. I could go on and on about how The Hutton House personnel are just truly the best... I'll keep this brief as it's so obvious, but The Hutton House is just a stunning space. The combo of indoor and outdoor space is truly impressive! All of the touches throughout the entire venue were spot on and you could tell they really put a lot of thought into making the space perfect. We are just so pleased with our Hutton House wedding and would do it all again in a heartbeat - investment was well worth it!!

The Hutton House was the perfect wedding venue, I would recommend this venue to anyone! We got a ton of compliments from our guests about the amazing staff and atmosphere! They were also so easy to work with through the ever-changing COVID-19 situation. They kept us updated every step of the way and made sure our wedding day was still perfect! The venue and the staff made the whole experience so great, I would highly recommend having any event here!

The Hutton House is the most incredible venue ever! I wish I could give them 20 stars. As a photographer, I have photographed hundreds of venues, and the Hutton House ranks at the top. They have an incredibly professional staff who will help with everything start to finish so you can fully enjoy your day. They have a convenient parking lot with plenty of spots for guests. Their venue is painted white which from a photographer's perspective is ideal; it allows for correct color in the images and allows for the subjects and decor to pop like no other venue. If you are a considering venue, contact the ASAP as their dates book out far in advance! Highly recommend!!!

There’s no question that Hutton House is a *beautiful* venue that has space to accommodate guests no matter the weather. Our most important criteria for choosing a venue was space for an outdoor ceremony, a good back-up in poor weather, and something that allowed a lot of natural light in. Hutton House hit all of those marks and we loved the minimal and modern style. However, my husband and I had issues with contracts/agreements changing months *after* we had signed them and poor communication leading up to our day. Hutton House has a lot of rules that other venues seem to be more lenient on (drinks in the bridal/groom suites, choosing indoor/outdoor ceremony the night before the event instead of day-of, no flexibility on vendor pick-up, fees for a lot of things like cafe lights etc.). What was probably the most frustrating, was their bar list of wines, beers, and spirits kept changing leading up to the day, even after we gave our final selections and paid the original bar estimate. We were not notified of one of the changes which meant we were surprised by a spirit choice on our wedding day. After some discussion, we were able to understand what happened. However, it’s a shame that for such an expensive venue fee it still feels like you’re paying fee after fee and not getting the premium service a venue like Hutton House should be providing. We do recommend Hutton House for the beautiful space, but be aware that the venue’s policies and management practices can be very frustrating. As for the actual wedding day, we love how the space looked and felt. Our guests had a wonderful experience on the day and the flow from the courtyard, to the fireside, to the lakeside room is very nice.

I HIGHLY recommend booking your wedding at the Hutton House. The venue is stunning, and the service provided by the staff is on point, which is so important. I strongly believe that the service provided by venue staff really sets the tone for your mood during the planning process. No bride wants to deal with staff that don’t know what they’re doing or are unresponsive. I never once felt stressed working with the staff at HH. I used to plan weddings, so I had really high expectations in terms of quality of service and ability to retain information in regard to our wedding. Hattie was my main contact person throughout the entire process and she could not have made it any easier. Any time I had a question, she always replied within 24 hours or less (90% of the time, well under 6 hrs). She was very knowledgeable and always provided detailed responses. I always felt like she truly cared about my wedding, and although this venue has many other weddings and events scheduled, I never felt like she was too busy to talk to me, which is an amazing quality for a venue that is as popular as Hutton House. On the day of our wedding, the staff knew exactly what I wanted and made sure, along with the other vendors, that everything went smoothly. I was never bothered while getting ready in the bridal suite for last minute questions, which was the best! And everything was set up exactly how I wanted it. I think having a beautiful venue is great, but adding attentive staff on top of that is best part. A beautiful venue is nothing without a great team working behind it, and Hutton House delivers the dream team. I wish I could hug all of them over and over and just thank them for helping me plan and execute such a seamless wedding day. I honestly do not think the planning process would have been as stress free if not for all the amazing staff involved, especially Hattie. A million times, thank you.

The Hutton House was stunning and far exceeded any expectations my husband and I had for our wedding. We used the courtyard for our ceremony, the fireplace room/courtyard for cocktail hour (bags/corn hole outside was a major hit!), and the lakeside room for our reception. We did use the bridal suites upstairs to get ready in and those were also awesome and very spacious. We were able to enjoy a few drinks before and after the ceremony with our bridal party and family in the suites which are some of my favorite memories from the day. Every area was so functional, spacious, modern/rustic, and breath taking and it was exactly the vibe and experience we wanted for our wedding. Our guests continuously commented on how beautiful the layout and design were which further solidified we made the right venue choice. The staff were so helpful and extremely professional leading up to and on our wedding. It was clear they had done this before as the communication was seamless and they made sure on our wedding everything ran smoothly. We are so excited to see all of our pictures and video so we can relive the day over and over again. We truly believe The Hutton House was one of the best decisions we made vendor wise and are so thankful to have hosted our wedding there. Overall, I would highly recommend The Hutton House to any couple looking for a rustic/modern wedding vibe!

The air conditioning was FREEZING!!! The person in charge said they could not adjust the temperature. All the women at my table had shawls on and we were still freezing. They should have handed out jackets and pants to all the women.All the hard surfaces made the rooms TOO LOUD, even with no music playing.

Wow!! As a member of a professional string quartet, I see a LOT of venues. Hutton House is one of the finest venues I've ever performed at. It feels like you're in a country mansion, but you're only 15 minutes from downtown! You walk in the door and the interior is so striking. So clean, so elegant, so classy! The Fireside Room has a grand staircase for the perfect processional and/or photos, a warm fireplace, and so much natural light from the many large windows. The outdoor area feels like half-garden/half-courtyard, and is so beautifully maintained. It's a super spot for your cocktail hour! The acoustics in both the Fireside Room and the Lakeside Room are perfect for live music - enough reverberation to add extra warmth to the sound but without sounding boomy. We love playing there, and from what I can tell from our clients, they love this place too! Take a tour at one of their frequent open houses and check it out for yourself. You'll also get to meet their wonderful staff who will look after you like family. This is a 5-star venue!

Booking The Hutton House for our wedding was the best decision we made during our planning. It was everything we were looking for in a venue. It was bright, white, and very open. Most venues now are either industrial or a barn. The Hutton House was the perfect in between. They also made the whole planning process so easy. We had about 3 or 4 meetings set up with them throughout planning. It made us feel comfortable to know that we were on track with everything. Parking was also perfect and easy for our guests. We loved the outdoor courtyard for cocktail hour and also as a place for guests to hang out. The bridal and groom suites were beautiful and the perfect places for us to hang out in while we get ready. We hired our day of coordinator, Kara, through The Hutton House. She did an amazing job. She made everything so stress free and I knew I could trust her to make sure our day went perfect and it was absolutely perfect. We wish we could get married again just so we could be at The Hutton House again.

Booking The Hutton House for our wedding was the best decision we made during our planning. It was everything we were looking for in a venue. It was bright, white, and very open. Most venues now are either industrial or a barn. The Hutton House was the perfect in between. They also made the whole planning process so easy. We had about 3 or 4 meetings set up with them throughout planning. It made us feel comfortable to know that we were on track with everything. Parking was also perfect and easy for our guests. We loved the outdoor courtyard for cocktail hour and also as a place for guests to hang out. The bridal and groom suites were beautiful and the perfect places for us to hang out in while we get ready. We hired our day of coordinator, Kara, through The Hutton House. She did an amazing job. She made everything so stress free and I knew I could trust her to make sure our day went perfect and it was absolutely perfect. We wish we could get married again just so we could be at The Hutton House again.

Don't get me wrong, HANDS DOWN the most beautiful wedding venue in MN. That's why I chose it, it's stunning!! Everyone was impressed, I was speechless, I cannot praise the visual appeal enough!The behind the scenes work, however, leaves much to be improved. The staff is very friendly, however I found that over and over I would need to repeat myself to the staff leading up to the big day. I was the one who initiated conversation about layouts, timelines, etc. only until it was time for payment. There were multiple instances where I got an email saying a payment was due that day without so much of a heads up.The day of the wedding, the bar staff was fabulous and treated all of our guests kindly and made fabulous drinks for everyone. At the end of the evening, my parents were approached to write even more of a check towards the bar tab, and I had to sort out the errors while on my honeymoon the days to follow via email. Just so much that can be worked on behind the scenes that get's overlooked because the venue itself is so beautiful.The place is stunning, yes, but they need to work on the nitty-gritty details. They have events scheduled daily on weekends for almost 2 years out, that's a lot of room for error when they should be making room for improvements.Venue: Stunning, 100000% agreeStaff/Professionalism/Organization: Needs work.

Where to even begin! The Hutton House is simply perfection. It's a breathtaking venue, beautiful enough to stand on its own but also a blank slate you can create into whatever you want. It's impeccably designed and creates a seamless flow for wedding guests. You likely know that well if you've stalked their instagram, but what you may not know is how amazing the venue is for your other vendors. Our vendors had a separate area to prep, enter and exit, which, they all loved. It allowed them to do their thing without any roadblocks.The staff at the Hutton House is also absolutely phenomenal. Leading up to the day I worked with Hattie. She was SO on top of it, organized and an excellent communicator. That took so much stress out of the planning process. When I first toured The Hutton House, I knew right away this was the place I wanted to have our wedding reception. It was so simple and elegant and absolutely beautiful - perfect for a winter wedding with the huge fireplace and romantic lighting. The Hutton House is the absolute dream wedding venue! We were in love with it immediately and actually picked this as our venue while it was still being built! Their location is in the perfect spot, close to the cities, and plenty of parking. We loved how we were able to move throughout the space the entire day with having the ceremony outside, our cocktail hour in the fireside room with yard games outside, and then into their gorgeous reception hall for dinner. Later in the evening, guests were meandering to the dancefloor, or the firepit outside - and their front entrance was perfect for our sparkler sendoff. Jenn and the other Hutton House staff were all amazing to work with leading up to and on our day. They truly thought of everything when building this venue and we feel so lucky we got married here. Overall, we are still pinching ourselves at how perfect our wedding day was! Thank you so much Hutton House for everything!

We got married at the Hutton House this month and it was wonderful! It is a beautiful space inside and out, yet classic enough to allow any sort of decor and style. The venue team is great to work with and their attention to detail is evident throughout the venue. The list of preferred caterers provided several great options to choose from, so it didn't feel limiting at all. The venue serves the alcohol though, so you are restricted there. The only other note I'd provide is to be aware that there are separate fees for things like ceremony set-up, etc. so make sure you are aware of all the various costs and budget accordingly!

When you arrive onsite for your first venue tour, Molly is there to greet you and walk you through all the details of our space, allowing you to immerse yourself in envisioning your special day at The Hutton House. After touring the venue, Molly will work with you to prepare your personalized rental proposal and assist you though the booking process, before introducing you to our Venue Coordinator team as you begin the planning for your celebration!
