The Indianapolis Propylaeum Reviews
Karina Collins(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 27-05-2023 The Propylaeum was absolutely perfect for our smaller wedding. We had 40 guests and the microwaving package for our need perfectly. The venue was beautiful. Our day of coordinator Janice was very helpful, and Julia was great during the planning stages. We are very happy with our choice of venue. Reviewed on 31-05-2023
Kathleen S(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 02-04-2022 The Propylaeum is an exceptional place to host a wedding! The venue itself is gorgeous – from the detailed woodwork and decorative accents in the Mansion to the gorgeous wall of windows in the Carriage House. However, what really makes the Propylaeum exceptional is the staff. They are so accommodating and willing to help you realize your vision for your wedding day. We were coming from out of town and did much of the planning process remotely, but, even with that added challenge, everything was easy and went smoothly for our April 2022 wedding. Deb and Drew Smillie(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 10-04-2021 Drew and I will be forever grateful for the fun day, the professionalism and support of LaurieAnne, and all the catering folks involved in our wedding at this wonderful venue. Truly, we couldn’t have asked for more. Reviewed on 22-04-2021
Josh Blight(groom)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 02-01-2021 You won't find a more intimate and romantic place than the Propylaeum for your wedding. We are so glad we chose to get married here. Thank you so much to LaurieAnne for making the planning process go so easy! Reviewed on 11-01-2021
Jenny Rowe(wedding party)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 20-09-2013 I had my best friend's shower here and they helped me make sure everything was perfect. They had beautiful decor and the food was excellent. She loved it and couldn't have been happier. Reviewed on 11-10-2013
Jessi Galbraith(bride)4 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 01-12-2012 The Propylaeum is a lovely historical building and was a fabulous setting for the rehearsal dinner. The food was simply alright. I did appreciate that when there was a mix-up with the bar and it was fixed right away. The waitstaff was phenomenal, however, the manager Karen was quite rude to me. She was asking small-talk questions about the wedding the next day and then telling me how SHE would have done it differently for whatever reason. She was also extremely off-putting to my guests, insisting that they have a particular dessert over the others because it was her family's recipe regardless of what they ordered. Despite that, I would definitely host another event at The Propylaeum. Reviewed on 18-12-2012
