Set in downtown Edwardsville, IL, The Ink House is a high-end historic space with contemporary details that now hosts weddings and other milestone occasions. Co-owners and operators Hannah Fink and Kristen Pfund have revived this landmark building, carrying on its long legacy of creativity and modern-industrial aesthetic. This is a space in which you can make your own for your special day, to create your own joyous news. One block from Edwardsvilleâs Main Street, The Ink House was the site of a local newspaper - The Edwardsville Intelligencer - from 1921 for several decades. Hannah and Kristen have poured their efforts and heart into bringing life back to this location, inviting to-be-wed couples to hold their wedding festivities within. This duo believes that couples should have flexibility in their choices. Thus, this venue team offers full bar service with mixologists and will accommodate any licensed and insured caterer. Guests entering this venue will first encounter the white palette and splashes of color in the Press Room Lounge. This welcoming space is well suited for guests to mingle or have fun with the in-house photo booth. The brick building features numerous spaces and wheelchair-accessibility. Wedding events that can be hosted at The Ink House include bridal showers, rehearsal dinners, ceremonies, and receptions. This venue offers nearly 6,000 square feet of space, with The Press Room the largest event space at almost 3,500 square feet. Recently they expanded into next door creating another venue known as Off the Record. This venue can be operated for a single event or hosts can choose to use the entire space. Approximately 2500 square feet of outdoor space great for ceremonies and another 2500 square feet typically used for a cocktail reception. The Press Room allows 250 guests can be seated on top-notch Chiavari chairs and around long tables for your special celebration. They are also connected to a boutique hotel called the Urban Collective. A one-of-a-kind experience for travelers seeking something beyond the ordinary. There are eight unique suites that have different styles, themes and vibes. Bar service is provided in-house with mixologists ready to work with you to organize your selections and customized cocktails. This venue team can advise you on trusted caterers and other vendors to help make your wedding planning more seamless. The Ink House is beautiful, classy, stylish, and decorated so well! The space is huge with many options on how to utilize to fit your needs. I love the lounge with all stylish couches. I also love the photo booth ROOM...the ring light and boomerang option really gets guests feeling photogenic! My wedding was here on June 27th, 2020 and it was everything I couldâve ever wanted! Kristen and Hannah are really great to work with and ran things very smoothly!

We are so happy that we chose Ink House for our November 2023 wedding and reception. No regrets, happy couple, happy guests.The staff was excellent, especially Joanna, our POC and day-of coordinator. She was organized, good at communicating, and so patient when I had some last-minute changes to the layout. On the day-of, she was phenomenal, handling everything so that I could show up and just enjoy the day.From an aesthetic standpoint, this space has no rival in the Metro East! Night or day, the space is gorgeous, and I love that the owners are constantly improving and broadening their services.

My wife and I had our wedding at this venue. It was exactly what we hoped for and more. We were unable to get into the venue the night before and Joanna and her team did an excellent job prepping the space the morning-of. My spouse and I live out of town and had never met Joanna in person until the day-of. Regardless, Joannaâs ability to communicate during the months leading to the wedding was excellent. She responded in a timely manner and was always very professional. On the wedding day, Joanna went above and beyond while making sure my wife and I had the most picture perfect and stress-free day.

This venue is beautiful, the staff is so nice and friendly. They will answer all of your small questions because they want to make sure you have your perfect wedding. I really cant recommend them enough. There is free parking on the weekends, the venue is easy to find, it was the perfect size for our small 30 person wedding, but it would also be the perfect size for a larger one as well. I wouldnt have wanted to get married anywhere else!!

Where do I even start? Joanna and her team were amazing! Undecided about a venue... not anymore! This is THE VENUE for all of your events. It's beautiful with or without decor. Joanna's attention to detail, the bride and all things party planning was above and beyond. She was responsive, professional and so so very pleasant and kind to work with. I asked so many questions. Some silly, some legit.... she answered them all in a timely response and followed through on the day of. She took so much of my stress away. I cannot say enough amazing things about the Ink House. They made my wedding vision come absolutely alive. From start to finish, Hannah and Joanna of the Ink House team were so communicative and helpful that I never felt stressed. The event space is so gorgeous and malleable that brides can really make it the wedding THEY envision. No cookie-cutter, out-dated looking banquet hall here. I wanted a sophisticated space with lots of greenery, candlelight and flowers for my smaller wedding of about 110 and the Ink House made that come alive. They have so many rentals to choose from as well - we rented these spectacular candelabras that gave the space the soft candlelit glow I was looking for. Natural light comes through the windows and the glow of the sunset really sets off the space for an evening wedding. The space itself is gorgeous but it's really the staff that made it the best. Joanna went ABOVE and BEYOND in making my July 30th wedding so on-point, smooth, organized and allowed me to truly soak in my wedding day. I feel like I got to genuinely ENJOY my day because Joanna and the Ink House staff took care of me, my guests and the night. I had the wedding of my dreams thanks to the Ink House and could not recommend them enough. Book this venue immediately.

Anytime I emailed Joanna, I would get a quick response with detailed information. She was there to help with anything for the rehearsal and day of the wedding. The venue was beautiful and they worked with exactly how we wanted it set up. We got married and had our reception there. Our guests raved about the multiple bar options. Our wedding was 1/15/22 and we canât recommend Ink House enough! Kristen, Hannah and Joanna were all fantastic with prepping for the day and making sure the day-of went off without a hitch. The venue itself is very beautiful with or without much decor- and the ink house offers packages and add-ons so you can rent directly from them. Their bar packages were affordable with better alcohol options than other venues I looked at. We also had our rehearsal dinner at the ink house- both events were truly amazing!

The Ink House was the perfect venue. The inside is full of beautiful windows and beautiful brick walls. The building does not require much decoration because it has character all by itself. My husband and I were married there and hosted our reception there. The staff at the Ink House went above and beyond to make sure our day ran smoothly. They worked closely with us to make sure our dream came to life. They communicated promptly and gave us several opportunities to come view the venue. Joanna was a HUGE help to me. She made sure the flip from the ceremony to the reception went smoothly. I did not have to worry about any of that. I also love that they gave us examples of seating charts. That saved me a lot of stress. They also have several extra amenities that can be rented such as the twinkle lights which we loved. The building is perfect for photos and there are several neat buildings within walking distance for great photos. I would recommend this venue to anyone looking for a place to host an event.

My husband and I highly recommend The Ink House!! Hannah, Kristen, Joanna and the rest of the staff were absolutely wonderful and so easy to work with! We had the best wedding day! We were able to choose vendors for food, cake, DJ, a popcorn bar and our dog got to be our flower girl :) We loved the flexibility they allowed us with our decorations too. Hannah was great with communicating and kept things very organized leading up to our special day. If you have a special event coming up, book this venue!!

They went over everything you could think of for a venue and answered any questions we had. They were the first and only venue we saw because we immediately fell in love. Kristen and Hannah are super nice and so patient with the questions. They were always sending emails with updates along with help to figure out floor plans and vendor set up. About 8 weeks before our wedding we contacted them because my fiancé was having health issues and we thought we were going to have to change/cut some things out. Kristen was very understanding and worked with us all the way up to the wedding. To say we are grateful would be an understatement. Our guests loved the venue as well and we received many compliments.

I could not be happier with our experience with The Ink House! For one it is the coolest venue with a lot of character. I walked in and immediately fell in love with it and the staff. I could not be happier with our experience with The Ink House! For one it is the coolest venue with a lot of character. I walked in and immediately fell in love with it and the staff. Speaking of the staff, they were so helpful and friendly! They all worked together to make our wedding perfect! The Ink House was absolutely amazing! I heard a lot from couples who used other venues that said that once they paid the bill, they never heard anything from the vendor again. That is not the case with Hannah & her crew! They were so attentive from start to finish; quick to reply to emails or texts, super detail-orientated, friendly and accommodating. The atmosphere was fun, clean, and inviting. They set up, tore down, and let us really enjoy the day with nothing to worry about. I will recommend The Ink House to every single person I know for every event. Our wedding reception was perfect because of them. Thank you!

The Ink House made all of our wedding dreams and visions come true! The industrial look of the venue and classy feel make for a beautiful and intimate setting! The place makes a statement of its own and requires very little added decoration. Hannah and Kristen were both amazing to work with and extremely sweet and down to earth! They are so hard working and ensured that every detail and aspect of our ceremony and reception were planned out beforehand and executed perfectly! I had so many questions beforehand and they were always so patient. We have had nothing but wonderful compliments on the venue and bar and we could never ask for anything better. This place is the real deal and is going to become one of the best spots outside of STL. Book it now and you will not regret it!

This venue is beautiful! I loved the style and layout of the venue. The biggest downside is there is no âget ready roomâ so we had to do that at an outside location. Communication prior could also be a little better, but everything still worked out great & looked better than I even envisioned!

What made the venue more beautiful was your wonderful team! My wife and I agree that we have never met a team so on top of things!
