This 25-acre estate is situated along the peaceful flow of the Ohio River and is surrounded by dreamy woodlands, peaceful greenery, and waterside views. The Inn at Oneonta is home to overnight accommodations for you and up to 20 guests in the main house and quaint guest cottage. You can rent the property for a weekend and enjoy exclusive use of the grounds and amenities. The Inn at Oneonta is the most beautiful and unique outdoor wedding venue in the Cincinnati area. The views are gorgeous along the Ohio river, all the natural landscaping is the easiest decor for your day, the tent for the reception is perfect and stays super cool even on August nights and there are so many gorgeous photo opportunities! Michelle and Travis worked with us every step of the way and made sure we had the most perfectly executed day with no stress. They are so kind and gave the best advice perfectly catered to the venue so the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception flowed seamlessly. It was also so easy to have Be Creative Catering supply the wedding with the delicious appetizers, dinner and desserts! It was so easy to have the venue and catering with the same vendor- I would highly recommend it and the staff were all efficient and kind- there was never a line at the bar! This truly is the most magical venue -we even had Eagles flying over the ceremony as it was going on!! I think every guest that attended fell in love with the venue as much as we had while planning. It was the BEST! You will not regret booking it. Thank you all so much!! <3

From someone who has worked in the catering and events industry to years this place far exceeded any and all expectations for my ideal wedding. My husband and I were married at The Inn in May 2023. From the very first day when my mother and I toured the venue we knew this was the place. The grounds are EXCEPTIONAL. From the main house to the ceremony area, the bistro setting alongside the river (where we hosted cocktail hour), to the reception/Dj area - it's all stunning. You had the option to check-in Friday, which was so beneficial for everything we had to do. It took the stress away from weekend with all the setting-up we had to do. Then there were our gracious hosts - Michelle and Travis. The power duo. Michelle, from day one was an absolute pleasure to work with. She is so incredibly sincere, and you can tell she puts her all into the venue and her work. Every time I saw her, I just had to give her the biggest hug. She is so thorough and literally thinks of everything! Her counterpart, Travis, is even more thorough and detailed. He is also the mastermind behind the food. We decided on a pig-roast for (180+ attendees) - the food was amazing, fresh and the presentation was on point! We had so many compliments!For my husband and I, who met in the industry and worked in hospitality/hotels, we wanted an area that had charm, felt freeing and relaxing and didn't feel so crammed in a box and uniformed like every wedding we have worked before. This was THE place for just that. There is nothing like The Inn at Oneonta. I will never forget how this place and its people made me feel on our wedding day. It was truly an experience and memory that we will cherish for a lifetime.

This place is incredible. Excellent food, great communication, beautiful location, impeccable service, very professional management, and a lovely attitude to boot. Most of the guests to our October wedding had never been there before and were blown away with the view, the amenities, and the whole experience. We got so many excited compliments about everything. The staff is so on the ball, fixing any little problems ahead of time so that everything goes smoothly. I honestly never felt like I needed a wedding planner or coordinator when Oneonta had my back. I literally cannot recommend them enough!

This was one of the best days of my life watching my daughter get married at this beautiful venue. It could not have been more perfect. Travis and Michelle provided everything necessary to ensure this wedding went smoothly. We rented the property for the entire weekend. Our rehearsal dinner held in train station. Wedding ceremony overlooking the river. Wedding reception with 300 guests. The staff was exceptional. The food catered by be creative was unique from most wedding food. The grounds and the weather added a beautiful dimension to this special day. I would highly recommend this venue. They can accommodate anything.

Travis and Michelle at The Inn at Oneonta are some of the best vendors I have ever worked with. They consistently go above and beyond to make sure your day runs smoothly. It was like having two new friends and a day of coordinator all in one. They are incredibly communicative and really do support you throughout the process. The venue grounds are immaculate, and provided the most unique and beautiful wedding experience I have encountered. My best advice to engaged couples looking for a venue that come across this page is to simply stop looking and have your big day at the Inn. First of all, I highly recommend renting the property for the entire weekend. Being able to stay on location was very convenient for us and our bridal party. You do not have to worry about anyone showing up late day of, everyone is already on site. The property is also massive, there is a large main house with plenty of space, a secondary guest house with 2 floors of space, the train station which has a pool table/golden tee inside, AND the additional honeymoon suite. Honestly, how many weddings have you ever been to where after the rehearsal dinner and or reception can family/close friends hang out onsite to have a night cap? My guess is none. All of our close friends said how amazing that was to have. 2nd, Travis and Michelle are top notch experts. They are very experienced and will try their best to accommodate any wish you can think of. They will also be very upfront with you about an idea that wont work citing plenty of reasons and examples why from experience...listen to them! Other than it being a little cold, our weekend was everything we could have imagined, we can't thank Travis, Michelle and their staff enough.

We had rehearsal dinner/wedding/reception all at the same place with wedding party able to stay onsite. As the mom of the groom- we felt very confident that all wants/needs of our son and his bride would be carried out by this incredible team!

I cannot say enough good things about this venue and the wonderful owners Michelle and Travis. From day one they were attentive, helpful, and extremely knowledgeable. Despite some rain throughout the day we had the absolute best day and we truly couldn’t have done it without Michelle and Travis and their team. This venue is absolutely stunning, I knew I wanted to have our reception here before we even got engaged and it did not disappoint. When we were planning our wedding we had two must haves: to have a fun reception and to have really great food at the reception. Travis and his team make all the food which is absolutely delicious, and takes one less thing off your plate by not having to hire a separate vendor for catering. You can also have your ceremony at the Inn and even though we did not I can only imagine how beautiful the ceremony is there! I can’t thank the Inn at Oneonta enough for helping make our wedding the best day. To any couple trying to pick a place for your wedding day, Inn at Oneonta should definitely be on the top of your list!

Woah! The Inn at Oneonta is a perfect venue for a wedding! It is beautiful, fun, unique, and the staff is incredible. Michelle and Travis-where do I even begin. Let’s start with this is the most gorgeous outdoor venue. Well kept, clean, and landscaping that is out of this world. Food was nothing short of spectacular(highly recommend the pesto salmon and beef tenderloin). Very responsive to emails. Their staff is top notch always making sure people have what they needed. We literally didn’t have to lift a finger because they always had what we needed- where we needed it. It’s worth every single penny.

Travis, Michelle and their staff have wedding day planning and implementing down to a science! My daughter’s wedding went off without a hitch and was absolutely beautiful! When we received the news that my husband tested positive for covid and would not be able to attend and walk our only daughter down the aisle, we of course were devastated. Michelle was extremely empathetic and supportive, offering time for us to come back and enjoy the venue when my husband is well. Having such an organized and hard working staff definitely helped me make it through the night full of so many emotions without the support of my husband. Despite my 50,000 questions and emails they answered every single question, gave the best suggestions and advice, and made my daughter's wedding reception and all activities at the Inn flawless. They are kind, caring, and just as excited as we were about the event. Our families stayed at the Inn for the entire wedding weekend, and I highly recommend it! We held the rehearsal dinner out at the Inn and brunch the day after the reception as well. Every detail was taken care of, and I am forever grateful. I would recommend this venue one hundred times over. Outstanding!!!

The Inn at Oneonta, and Travis and Michelle, made my dreams come true! This place is stunning. It feels like it’s own little town. My guests kept coming up to me all night and telling me how beautiful the space was. It was so nice to have the ceremony and reception in one area, but also separate spaces. We booked the Inn for the entire weekend so that we could have our wedding party spend the night in the houses Friday and Saturday night. It was so nice to just wake up on Saturday with all my bridesmaids and relax, drink some coffee, watch the sunrise over the river and wait for hair and makeup. There is so much space to get ready!! The guys stayed in the guest house and we were in the main house and we never ran into each other! My husband and I stayed in the cottage the night of our wedding and it was such a cute little space that we had just to ourselves! I could go on and on about the venue it’s self. It’s just absolutely break taking. As for Travis and Michelle, they are awesome!! When we decided to postpone our wedding due to COVID they were so supportive and understanding. They worked with us and both of our families and quickly answered any questions we had. Their communication is clear and they will keep in touch often over your planning period. No communication was lost in the 2.5 years of our wedding planning, which was extended a year due to COVID. My husband and I now consider Michelle and Travis friends and we are so grateful for everything they have done for us, and for dealing with us for 2.5 years!!! Haha Seriously 100/10 recommend The Inn at Oneonta. Your dreams will come true.

We decided to change our date and venue to an outdoor space in hopes it would be more COVID friendly, and the Inn at Oneonta did not disappoint! So much space to spread out and the most beautiful back drops for the ceremony on the water, photos on the property and bridal cottage, etc. we had so many compliments from guests and our photographer. Travis and Michelle were amazing to work with and went above and beyond to make sure everything was executed the way we envisioned. Their catering (Be Creative) was also top notch and offered so many choices and flexibility. 10/10 all around!

We had the most AMAZING wedding day at The Inn at Oneonta. It is one of the most beautiful outdoor venues I have ever been to. Our wedding day was absolutely perfect and everything that we had imagined! We were looking for a outdoor venue that had the ability to have both the ceremony and reception at the same place and this was perfect. Our guests had a blast and the food was amazing!! Michelle and Travis are so so so helpful in the planning and they are extremely honest with their recommendations which was extremely helpful as I did not have a wedding planner. They were very easy to get in contact with anytime we had a question and I would do it over again a million times! If you are looking for a laid back, romantic outdoor feel, this is your place. We didn't have to do much decorating at all, it is already beautiful enough!

It is unique and absolutely beautiful and there are so many gorgeous spots to take wedding photos; also a cool history behind the property. The owners are so great to work with; they truly care that you have the perfect wedding day and they work hard to accommodate your needs/wants; they will exceed your expectations. They were very professional, organized and helpful throughout the process and was quick to respond to any email I sent asking questions. They own their own catering company and the food was SO good! Once myself and my now husband saw The Inn at the Onenta we knew we wanted to get married there. This place is beautiful, Michelle, Travis & staff were incredibly helpful through the entire process. They both know weddings inside and out. Travis was extremely helpful with creating how your day will flow and makes you feel very confident in the decision you make. He will give you ideas and point you in the right direction and lets you chose what you want which he calls a “you thing”. The all-in-one deal with the ceremony, reception and everything included in the reception (tables, chairs, caterer, ETC.) was a great deal. Be Creative (also owed by Michelle and Travis) which is who catered the wedding, did an exceptional job with the tasting all the way to the dinner at the reception. I will forever recommend the venue and catering company to anyone that wants an outdoor wedding.Their venue was a one of a kind of spot in northern Kentucky that most people haven’t heard of before. Our wedding was everything a bride could have ever envisioned, I wish I could relive our wedding!

Once myself and my now husband saw The Inn at the Onenta we knew we wanted to get married there. This place is beautiful, Michelle, Travis & staff were incredibly helpful through the entire process. They both know weddings inside and out. Travis was extremely helpful with creating how your day will flow and makes you feel very confident in the decision you make. He will give you ideas and point you in the right direction and lets you chose what you want which he calls a “you thing”. Staff was amazing at setting everything up, Michelle and Travis were very responsive to emails and phone calls for any questions or things I needed. WHAT A FAIRY TALE OF A WEEKEND!!! My husband and I can not express enough how amazing the staff and owners Michelle and Travis treated us and our family and friends from start to finish!! We choose to have the venue Friday-Sunday and it was the best decision ( besides choosing them as our venue )!! We had our rehearsal dinner on Friday evening allowing family and friends to really enjoy every perk this place has to offer! Our whole wedding party was able to stay the entire weekend and just simply sit back and enjoy! So many things to do such as playing pool, corn hole exploring the property was endless and just being able to take in the gorgeous energy and culture this place creates! We woke up stress free not having to pack and rush off somewhere because WE WERE ALREADY THERE!!! The boys went golfing Saturday morning which was beyond perfect for them and it’s just less then a mile down the road!! The photographer was having a field day with all the different shots she could get that wouldn’t have been able if they weren’t all right there in hands reach at this gorgeous Inn!! As guest arrived the staff greeted them helped them park, golf cart on stand by if any elder or handicap people needed it walking from area to area. The ceremony was gorgeous with breathtaking views right on the river after that everyone proceeded to walk to another location for cocktail hour ( another area behind the house with numerous tables and a gorgeous view, this is also where we had the rehearsal dinner the night before) which then after that they were directed to the tent area for reception and dinner. The entire night everyone just kept saying over and over how amazing this place was and how perfect the staff and management of the entire day was! I could go on and on in far more detail however the point is... THIS IS YOUR DREAM VENUE!!! I would love to answer any questions to help you know this is the place for you!!

I cannot imagine a more ideal venue. This place is so gorgeous on its own that we didn't have a single decoration. We rented the entire property for the weekend which was a GAME CHANGER. Our friends and families are still writing to let us know what an amazing time they had at the event. Travis is fun to work with on the food (which everyone raved about) and Michelle was right there when I needed anything during the event. The Inn at Oneonta is a magical place, unlike any venue you’ve seen before. We’ve all been to a million ballroom weddings, but if you really want to “wow” you family and friends, this is the place to do it. The grounds are simply spectacular. If you go to see the venue in person, I must warn you that anything you see after will pale in comparison. The Inn is owned by Travis and Michelle Faris (also the owners of Be Creative Catering). They literally think of everything, so you don’t have to. They’ll schedule meetings with you and give you plenty of notice, so you know what to expect. They’re honest with you the whole way through and have every contingency planned that you can think of. When we had questions, they responded the same day and took care of any worries we had. I would highly recommend renting the whole place for the weekend. Having just one night under the tent, while amazing, doesn’t let you take in the whole experience. Being on the grounds over night with you wedding party brings everyone closer. We had our rehearsal the night before on the other side of the property and it was two totally different but wonderful experiences (in case you’re worried about that). We did our pictures and ceremony all on site which made everything so much easier on us (however, there is a church not to far down the road if that’s a requirement for you). While we had great weather for our wedding day, we were hard pressed to find anyone who had ever had a bad experience at the Inn, even when the weather didn’t cooperate as well. With these owners, you have partners that are actively involved in making sure you and your guests have the best day (and weekend) ever. They’ll go above and beyond to create your vision and exceed your expectations. If you want people to remember your wedding as one the separates from the rest, this is the place for you.

Absolutely amazing! I cannot say enough good things about my experience with the Inn at Oneonta. Travis, Michelle, and the entire Oneonta staff were the absolute best to work with for our weekend stay at this stunning venue. We had a 50 person Wedding Eve Party and 280 guests at our wedding. We knew our weekend would take lots of coordinating, but Travis and Michelle made it a breeze. They are the pros who know what works (and what doesn’t) at Oneonta, so I genuinely valued their feedback throughout the entire planning process, and everything went off without a hitch. They put my mind at ease with every detail, and that is exactly what a bride needs when planning a wedding. They’re accommodating, while still being realistic and getting the job done! Our immediate families were able to stay at Oneonta with us, and everyone had their own room (with beds to spare!). There were so many fantastic perks of staying the entire weekend, including not having to find a rehearsal dinner venue, having all of my family together and friends together all weekend, and having access to all of the guest houses. If you’re debating on staying all weekend, do it- you won’t regret it! The weather was not ideal, but hey, what was I expecting for an early May wedding? It rained later Saturday night once the reception had already started, but it wasn’t an issue whatsoever. I was amazed! The dance floor and new tent covering the bar kept everyone warm and dry. The Inn at Oneonta is great because everything you need is right at your fingertips. The venue is perfect, and the food is fantastic! The pig roast was a HUGE hit among our wedding guests and they’re still talking about all of the sides (get the corn pudding and mac’n’cheese!). Our guests loved it, our family loved it, and we loved it! I will be reliving that weekend for a long time!

They made our wedding a most magical and unforgettable experience! Everything from the food to the venue was absolutely perfect! They are some of the most helpful, and pleasant people that I have ever had the pleasure to work with. We rented the property for the entire weekend. Us, our wedding party and our parents stayed at the Inn for the weekend. We had our rehearsal dinner there Friday night followed by our wedding and reception on Saturday. It was so convenient and comfortable to have everyone there for the entire event! It eliminated everyone needing to come and go and meet at this time and that time...I would not change it for anything! I would recommend to anyone considering staying the weekend to do so. I believe you too will find the whole experience so much more memorable and stress-free. Travis and Michelle made us feel extremely special. They were so very accommodating and just wonderful in every way. Our wedding was perfect...much of that is thanks to them.

The Inn at Oneonta, and more importantly, Travis, Michelle and their staff, are nothing short of perfection. Not to mention, this is the most beautiful venue in the Cincinnati/NKY area. It is the perfect venue for any size wedding. It's intimate yet spacious and so peaceful. Our entire bridal party, my mom and grandmother all stayed on the property. Our setup was unique with a private wedding ceremony and dinner followed by a cocktail reception where additional guests arrived. Travis and Michelle were patient and helped us plan everything to make sure the evening flowed exactly how we wanted. Travis and Michelle have a lot of experience, they know what works and what may not work so well. I really valued their honesty as we planned our day so we didn't spend money that wasn't necessary. Our family and friends are still raving about how beautiful the entire property is and oh my gosh the FOOD!!! It was amazing!! If I could go back, I would've asked Travis to have plates of seconds from the dinner buffet and all of the cocktail reception food for my husband and I. We were so busy, we only got one plate of food and didn't have any of the hors d'oeuvres later in the evening. Another example of the exceptional service is when I mentioned during the rehearsal dinner that I wasn't a fan of the white wine selections and Travis made sure my white wine of choice was available on the wedding day. Travis and his crew also made sure our grandmother's had a personal chauffeur between the ceremony site and the reception for both the rehearsal dinner and wedding. You can tell how much both Travis and Michelle care about you and your experience on their property, they go above and beyond to make it the best and what you want. It was an incredible few days in a very special place and we are sad it went so quickly. I hope to be able to visit the Inn again in the future maybe as an anniversary get away. Thank you for everything, it really was the best few days of our lives.

The Venue is beyond beautiful and unique. It brings you back in time. A fairytale come true. From the rehearsal dinner, casual laid back Pig Roast at it's best, to a very elegant absolutely phenominal wedding reception. Meeting the guest with wine and champaign, hor d'oeuvres, cocktails to superb salmon, filet and all the trimmings.Travis & Michelle I cannot brag enough about. Their crew all worked together with smiles and very sufficient.Honestly 5 stars is not enough. The Venue was immaculate, clean, beautiful and in good taste. They went above and beyond to make our weekend stay running smoothly, enjoyable and fun. Our guest are still raving about it. I heard it many times that this was the Best Wedding by far and they will never forget it.It was hard to say goodbye, they were like family. I have the utmost respect for them. They work so hard and it shows. Travis and Michelle really love their place and they love what they do. Terrie NI put this review off because it was just too long, but I cannot help it. I am totally being honest and speaking from my heart and experience.It was such an unforgettable weekend. The Venue is beyond beautiful and unique. It brings you back in time. A fairytale come true. From the rehearsal dinner, casual laid back Pig Roast at it's best, to a very elegant absolutely phenominal wedding reception. Meeting the guest with wine and champaign, hor d'oeuvres, cocktails to superb salmon, filet and all the trimmings.Travis & Michelle I cannot brag enough about. Their crew all worked together with smiles and very sufficient.Honestly 5 stars is not enough. The Venue was immaculate, clean, beautiful and in good taste. They went above and beyond to make our weekend stay running smoothly, enjoyable and fun. Our guest are still raving about it. I heard it many times that this was the Best Wedding by far and they will never forget it.It was hard to say goodbye, they were like family. I have the utmost respect for them. They work so hard and it shows. Travis and Michelle really love their place and they love what they do. I would give 10 stars if possible. My daughter wanted a wedding that lasted more than 1 day and this venue delivered. The grounds are amazing which made for spectacular pictures and the accommodations are unbelievable. Michelle and Travis went above and beyond to make our day special. Everyone expects something to go wrong , well if we had an issue, I didn't know because Michelle handled it. She made sure everything was perfect. So many compliments on the food, Travis rocked it! The staff were friendly and energetic as well. From the cocktail hour to the dinner they were always there to help and always with a smile. So if your looking for that special place this is your venue hands down! I can't thank Michelle and Travis enough for making Emily's day amazing. Michelle, It truly was \" THE BEST DAY EVER!!! \"

Not enough stars to compliment this extraordinary place. Such wonderful food and they catered to our drink menu and I highly suggest the Sangria and Champagne at the ceremony site. Food was perfect! The setting was perfect. We received emails and text messages for days on how beautiful everything was. We had around 140 people and everyone could move from the tables to the bar with ease and the fire later in the evening set a sweet tone for our out of town guests to simply sit and just enjoy the evening.Extremely pleased with literally EVERYTHING!

I would give way more than 5 stars if I could. Its hard to even write this review because there aren’t enough words to describe how incredible the staff and owners are at the Inn at Oneonta. Our wedding was truly the most magical day and that was in great part because it took place at the Inn at Oneonta. I was incredibly nervous about how the day of the wedding would turn out without a wedding planner or day of coordinator, but Michelle, Travis, and their whole team were so on top of every detail and made sure the whole day went exactly to plan without myself or the groom having to worry about a single thing. Everything from the set-up, to the food, to the drinks, to every-single-detail was absolute perfection. I say all of this even with our outdoor wedding taking place on a day where it poured rain. They had an amazing rain back up plan that ended up being just as magical as the original outdoor ceremony. Travis and Michelle are also so helpful during the entire planning process. They are both so knowledgeable about all wedding details and were able to give myself and the groom such good advice. I left every phone call and meeting with them feeling more and more confident about our wedding day being perfect. I would honestly recommend that every person in Cincinnati get married at the Inn at Oneonta. You will not find better, more honest, trustworthy, kind, and hardworking people to help you make your wedding dreams come true.

It rained during our rehearsal dinner, and Travis did whatever he could to re-organize events so that everything would be taken care of and we could still experience the day with our guests without any worries. We felt valued and heard, and he worked diligently and over hours to ensure that for us. It ended up not raining (Thanks, God!) and the day was amazing, and would have been, rain or shine. The venue also has a catering company with plenty of options and delicious food. We really enjoyed the option to have our wedding party stay on site with us the night before and stay the night of the wedding. My husband and I were fortunate to find a place that has tons of natural beauty. Our decorations were minimal but the venue left our guests blown away by how beautiful it was. We are so thankful for all of the hard work that the owners put into our rehearsal dinner and our wedding. We truly couldn't have picked a more perfect place for our fairytale wedding.

This is the perfect venue! We rented it for the whole weekend and my family stayed at the Inn Friday-Sunday. We had a small private ceremony on Friday night and our large reception on Saturday and it was perfect. The Inn was an awesome place to get ready both days and was a great place for my family to hang out and relax all weekend. Travis and Michelle were a dream to work with. Travis and the waitstaff checked on me multiple times throughout the night offering to bring me water or a drink. Michelle was so attentive through the whole planning process and made sure everything was exactly like I always dreamed it would be! It was set up perfectly for both nights. All of our guests were blown away by the venue and how cool it was. We could not have asked for a better weekend.

I could not have been happier with my entire experience from the moment I toured this venue to the night of my wedding. Michelle answered every question, big or small in such a timely manner. Travis made the most delicious meal that was customized around my vision. The little details that they nailed blew me away, like surprising me with a serving of asparagus, since my husband wasn't crazy about serving them to everyone. He preferred the grilled garden vegetables! They both handled every detail with such professionalism and kindness and were at my reception from beginning to end. The parking crew, bartenders and severs were equally amazing. They worked behind the scenes to make everything run so smoothly. The way that the parking staff treated my grandfather and carted him around several times, because he liked chatting with the young man driving the golf cart:) They took my vision and made it come to life! I appreciated their honesty and guidance through the entire planning process. This space is the most scenic and captivating for such a special celebration, and I cannot imagine having my wedding day anywhere else. It’s clear that Travis, Michelle and their team go above and beyond and I appreciated them making my day stress free and certainly memorable!

They are true professionals - responding promptly and thoroughly to all of my questions, providing helpful advice, and ultimately ensuring that my wedding was exactly how I always envisioned it would be. We had our daughter's wedding at the Inn at Oneonta. I am a tough critic. However, I cannot say enough praise for the venue and Michelle and Travis. The weather was chilly but all the accommodations were made to make for an extremely comfortable reception. Even with sleeveless dresses, no one noticed the chill. The grounds were impeccable and made for the perfect background for the amazing photos. The food was fabulous. The selection was vast and plentiful. Everyone raved about the wedding and reception. There was plenty of room for our 200 guests. The servers were pleasant and extremely helpful. What separates the Inn at Oneonta from other venues was the owners, Michelle and Travis. They were at the reception ensuring everyone was well taken care of and checking in with us to make sure we had everything we needed. That is the special touch that makes the Inn at Oneonta a success. It is a one stop shop...from Friday-Sunday, you have it all. It's relaxing so the bridal party can enjoy the timeless moments. Although we cannot directly attribute the glorious weather on 10/29 to our friends at Oneonta, they certainly took advantage of it in making our wedding weekend as picturesque and beautiful as documentary film. This venue offers more superlatives than can be tolerably listed in this review, nonetheless I will name many.Primarily, Oneonta is a hidden treasure that encompasses both the natural beauty and history of the banks of the Ohio River valley. It is lush and serene-remarkably kept with the appropriate sensibility that provides a clean and resort-like ambiance while preserving the rustic natural beauty inherent to the property. The facilities are unexcelled-from the guest houses, the Mansion (c.1851) and the grounds to the many nooks, hidden outcoves and superb outdoor reception area. The catering provided by Oneonta's sister enterprise, Be Creative, is outstanding, and with a myriad of choices available, no guest could leave unimpressed. The most important facet of this gem however is not the physical spaces, inviting landscape, unique perspectives nor it's captivating ability to crossover from traditional/ rural to a cotillion-like feel. What truly shines is the personnel. Not only the bartenders, maintenance staff and housekeepers, but namely the owners, Michelle and Travis. They worked with us very closely. They helped us prepare. They helped keep us calm and ramp up our excitement. The extra miles they went to ensure our wedding was a success were myriad-from always being available for consult, maintaining workflow, to overseeing our event from start to finish-all behind the scenes. Additionally, after the event, they both committed to helping us locate a very special pair of earrings that had been left behind. They refused to accept that they were a casualty of the event. After several days of searching through sweepers, rugs and the unsavory places we don't discuss at parties, they found them to the absolute delight (very emotional at that) of my new bride. The kindness they extended us will not be forgotten.Michelle, Travis and their staff are the best.You want them on your team.We are thrilled to have had them as teammates, and are grateful to call them friends.

In addition, Travis and Michelle make sure that EVERY detail is managed above and beyond expectation and are happy to provide suggestions to make the day run as smooth as possible. They are not only incredible business owners, but are also extremely kind and personable...to the point that Travis found my Dad during our reception to make sure he took a minute to sit down and eat and Michelle helped me get a stain out of my wedding dress when I got spaghetti sauce on it within the first 10 minutes of the reception :) I know our guests will rave about our wedding for years to come (particularly the venue and food) and we couldn't imagine spending our special day anywhere else.

We hosted my daughter's wedding this past weekend at the Inn. I had been to a wedding at the Inn previously, so I had an idea what to expect as far as the facility/grounds. What I didn't know is just how wonderful the family is treated and taken care of by both Travis and Michelle, as well as the rest of their staff. The Inn and the surroundings are absolutely breathtaking, the food catered by Travis was delicious, and the attention and care we received was above and beyond anything I could have ever expected. Our every question, request or need was addressed immediately and completely. There was nothing we could have asked for that Travis and Michelle would have at least tried to accommodate. My daughter really wanted to get married in the Gazebo next to the river, but it really looked like that was not going to be possible because of extremely heavy rain all day. But we didn't have anything to worry about because Travis and his crew was right there getting rid of all standing water so that my daughter could have the ceremony she had been hoping for. I just can't say enough good things about the facility, the food, and Travis and Michelle and their staff. A beautiful venue that is run by beautiful people. Thank you Travis, Michelle and all of your staff for making my daughter's wedding absolutely perfect for her!

I attended a wedding three years ago at Oneonta and thought it was beautiful then, so naturally, it was an easy pick once I got engaged. When I went to tour the venue with my parents and fiancé, I immediately saw a tremendous amount of upgrades to the property since the last time I had been there and I was so excited to book my fall wedding there. The planning process was less overwhelming, as the owners- Travis and Michelle helped me though every step of the way, answering my endless list of questions and putting me in contact with other wedding vendors they trusted and worked with frequently. Shortly after booking Oneonta, we scheduled a tasting. The food that Travis prepared was amazing and he sat with us for over 2 hours as we worked through all the details to create a meal that was a perfect fit for our special day. He made suggestions and encouraged mine and helped to make my dream wedding come true. Travis, Michelle and their staff could not have been more accommodating, always checking on us, making sure we were taken care of. Every detail was perfect. Shortly after booking Oneonta, we scheduled a tasting. The food that Travis prepared was amazing and he sat with us for over 2 hours as we worked through all the details to create a meal that was a perfect fit for our special day. He made suggestions and encouraged mine and helped to make my dream wedding come true. Travis, Michelle and their staff could not have been more accommodating, always checking on us, making sure we were taken care of. Every detail was perfect. They made us feel like Oneonta was our home for the weekend and we definitely felt like they were family. I could not recommend a better venue or people to work with for such a special day.\r \r

Words alone can't express how amazing this place is. It may have rained on our wedding day and been chilly but the staff was able to accommodate at the drop of a hat. The pictures don't do justice go look at the place and meet the owners.

We enjoyed everything about this venue for our daughter's wedding. The costs were reasonable and the fact that we had access to the grounds for the entire weekend made for a relaxed event. \r\rWe were able to accommodate 15 people onsite with rooms for the weekend, have our rehearsal dinner onsite and have both the wedding and reception at the same location. \r\rThe grounds are beautiful, especially during the fall. It did get a little cold that evening but the receptions area, while outdoors, was sufficiently heated to accommodate most guests.\r\rI would highly recommend this location to anyone for a crowd of 250 or less.

From the first moment we pulled onto the property, I fell in love. Spending such a special weekend with my family and friends was amazing and a true value for all that you get. Michelle and Travis helped with every aspect of the wedding. Their extensive knowledge, coupled with their passion for creating wonderful memories for people was evident the entire process. They customized a meal that fit exactly what we were looking for and it was a huge hit. Every little detail about my wedding weekend was perfect, and a lot of that is thanks to The Inn at Oneonta. We had the grounds for 48 hours (Friday at noon until Sunday at noon) and it was the least stressful set up I could've imagined. We were able to have our rehearsal dinner on the back patio on Friday night, then the bridal party was able to spend the night in the main house and guest house. We then spent Saturday just relaxing in the house until it was time to get ready, which was convenient because we all got ready in the main house where we stayed. We chose the riverside ceremony location, and it was out of a movie. We then had our reception at the pole tent on the grounds, which was so convenient. No one had to worry about getting lost between the ceremony and reception, which left more time for us to take family pictures and for our guests to enjoy the music and cocktail hour in the train station area. On Saturday night after the wedding, my husband and I stayed in their new honeymoon cottage located across from the main house. It was so cute and perfect for crashing after an exhausting and exciting day. \r\rWe also used Be Creative Catering, which is ran by the same couple that owns The Inn. I was skeptical at first about using them because you were forced to use that company or pay an extra fee to choose your own. As it turns out, the food was incredible and the prices per plate could not be beat. (Note that the catering costs is separate from the rental cost)\r\rMichelle, the wife who owns the venue, is awesome to work with. She was always quick to respond to my emails with my excessive lists of questions, and always very nice. Travis, her husband, handles the catering and the logistics of the venue. He can be abrasive at times, but when it comes down to it, he knows what he's doing. He might offend you in the way he gives you advice, but in reality you're better off listening to what he tells you because he knows the place inside and out.\r\rThere are only a few drawbacks to using this venue. For one, it is pricier than a lot of other places. BUT, you're getting what you pay for. To us it was worth spending more money to know that we could show up on Friday afternoon and not have to leave until Sunday. It made everything SO much less stressful. There was no worrying about leaving to go get your bridal pictures somewhere else, or people getting lost between the ceremony and reception. Another drawback is you're at the mercy of mother nature at this place. Both ceremony locations are at least partially outdoor, and the tent is open air so rain and wind can still blow into the tent (unless you rent some flaps to hang from the tent edges). We were fortunate though that there wasn't a drop of rain the day of our wedding (even though the forecast had called for rain that day for 10 days leading up to it).\r\rSo, if you're looking for a venue that has charm, natural beauty, a unique setup and is not very well known this is the place for you. I loved that none of my engaged friends knew about this place because I wanted it to be a total surprise to all of our guests, and that's exactly what it was. I can't tell you how many compliments we received about this place. The river views are gorgeous, the house is incredible, and the atmosphere cannot be beat. You have to at least tour the place and see it for yourself!

Not just because I was marrying my best friend but because of how amazing the venue was. Travis and Michelle went over and beyond to make this venue so special for everyone that attended my wedding. I look back at pictures and am just amazed that I was able to get married at this place. It was an incredible weekend spent with the best family and friends a girl could ask for. The views are breath taking, the houses are stunning, all the little details are just amazing, and the property is just so peaceful. As a child, I always dreamed of my perfect wedding day. I wanted a fairy tale wedding. As I got older my desires became more sophisticated, but nonetheless a fairy tale in my eyes. The Inn at Oneonta provided Marc and I our dream wedding. Not only is the Inn one of the top venue sites in the greater Cincinnati and Kentucky area because of its natural beauty but also because of their hospitality. The owners, Travis and Michelle Faris, are two of the most generous and hospitable people we have come across. \r\rTravis and Michelle take pride in their work and see every event to perfection. As a bride, you dream of the day being perfect, which means a day of no stress. If we are honest, that is nearly impossible. I must say the day of our wedding was stress free. That is saying a lot considering the weeks prior to our wedding were filled with snow melting, rain, and no sun. Travis and Michelle worked tirelessly to prepare the Inn to be perfect for our wedding. Travis showed me an immense amount of grace and empathy by reaching out to me well before the wedding and presented a plan B for our ceremony that not only exceeded expectations, but also was unique and original.\r\rFrom the second we arrived on site, there was a sense of peace. Travis and Michelle were not only the venue owners, but they were an active part of our wedding. As a bride you could not ask for more. The little things they did made Marc and I feel like the most important people in the world. \r\rWhen we look back at our wedding, we will never regret choosing the Inn at Oneonta. Travis and Michelle Faris (Owner) We held our very special wedding celebration at The Inn at Oneonta in October of 2009. We fell in love with all things Oneonta, and decided to pursue purchasing the property to continue our dream. We love every moment we spend with our clients and the experiences they take away from hosting such a special day at such a beautiful venue!
