The River Jones Trading is a riverfront wedding venue situated in Kingston, MA. This historic building is home to an elegantly appointed event space that provides the ideal backdrop for refined celebrations. Located on the historic Jones River in Kingston, the venue blends industrial-chic accents with classic refinement and is available for weddings large and small, with a capacity for between 70 and 225 people. You can host your wedding ceremony onsite at The River Jones Trading, either inside the main function room or outside if the weather permits. Take photos afterward by the riverfront or inside the building, which is home to distinctive architecture and decor. A long wooden watercraft is suspended from the lofty ceiling, which features original exposed piping in a nod to the venue’s industrial past and timber beams. Elsewhere, elegant white drapes elevate and soften the aesthetic, while polished wooden floors complement an authentic vintage bar imported all the way from Dublin, Ireland. In the center, round tables draped in crisp linens are curated according to couples’ guest-list size and vision. The dedicated team at The River Hones Trading has thought of every detail when it comes to executing polished events and weddings. Jones River Trading Post was the absolute best place to host our reception! It's such a unique and quaint space and barely even required any extra decor from us. We literally couldn't have asked for anything better, all the waitstaff and bartenders were nothing short of phenomenal, and the food was fantastic! A special shout out to our wedding coordinator Michelle, she was the absolute best and I knew after talking to her that everything would go off without a hitch. She worked so hard to make our table layout work for us with guests with special accommodations and was so thoughtful about every detail. I can't say enough good things about this venue! We absolutely loved it, 500/5 stars!

Jones River Trading Post was the absolute best place to host our reception! It's such a unique and quaint space and barely even required any extra decor from us. I couldn’t ask for a better group to help my mother and I with my wedding on Friday here. Michele and her crew did absolutely phenomenal and i couldn’t ask for a better group to host my special day. Michele took so much stress off my mom and myself and was always right there if i forgot something . I highly recommend them to my friends, family & anyone and everyone ! Thank you oh so much for a day that I’ll remember for the rest of my life !

I couldn’t ask for a better group to help my mother and I with my wedding on Friday here. Michele and her crew did absolutely phenomenal and i couldn’t ask for a better group to host my special day. I loved this venue so much, it was the first and only venue I looked at after getting engaged! I loved having the option for both an indoor and outdoor ceremony, especially when it rained on my September wedding day! The food was amazing! Michele was the best coordinator I could have ever asked for especially coordinating my crazy bridal party. Michele kept checking in to make sure we were taken care of and brought my vision to life better than I could have imagined! The staff set everything up before my arrival and packed everything up before the end up of the night for me making sure I was truly able to enjoy my whole day/night!

This was the best experience from beginning to end. My daughter was married on Friday 9.29.23 and it was perfect. Michelle and her team are the best to work with. Everything was perfect . Michelle couldn't have been more attentive to every detail from telling the bride not worry to making sure every detail was perfect. She took the time to keep the bride consulted all the time to the details and when it came time and the ceremony was switched to inside rather than outside it was a flawless transition and beautiful transformation. Michelle not only checked on the bride and groom throughout the night making sure they had eaten did they need anything she did the same for the parents as well. Michelle and her team were superb, organized, detailed and funny as well. When you work with Michelle and her team you feel like you have met a new friend as well. Thank you to them all I know it made my daughter's day special and with ease. Couldn't ask for a better venue that fits all styles from rustic to elegant and Michelle and her team are the the best team to work with personable and professional all rolled into one. Absolutely can't say enough and so glad this was the venue my daughter chose for her special day!

We couldn’t have been happier with choosing Jones River Trading for our dream wedding! The beach rustic theme fit us perfectly. It already had small details and decor throughout the room that made the reception feel inviting and cozy. The huge dance floor and additional high top seating gave our guests a lot of options throughout the night. The entire team was so great to work with and brainstorm with. Michele and Chris especially took the stress off of me as a bride (which was hard to do) and were trustworthy to get all my finer details down. We were sad to stop working with them when the event was over. Michele is so very talented and one of the BEST coordinators I have come across. She helps guide you through the planning and is so detail oriented there is not one bride who needs to worry. Michele remembers everything you say and does not leave one detail out. You can tell she knows what she is doing the minute you meet her and can be relieved that you are in the best hands. The food was delicious all around. There are so many options when choosing your menu as well as flexibility with what to do for the bar. Not many venues allow you to bring in your own desserts but we were able to bring in pastries, cake and more sweet treats which the whole staff set up for us and helped display so we didn’t have to worry about it. The day before the wedding we brought down our boxes of centerpieces, other decor, some non perishable desserts and more. When I tell you Michele and Chris had it all under control, we dropped the boxes and they said they had it covered. They took care of every detail of set up while following my notes to a T! It was the most gorgeous set up and they made my dreams come true even better than I had imagined. Michele went above and beyond to make it the best day. She went out of her way especially to find a special sweet peach tea request for the bride. She also made sure to personally come outside to greet us and guide us in when it was pouring rain at arrival off the party bus. She was right there with a big umbrella making sure I would be okay getting in. She made sure everything went smoothly and that we had the best day! Having our wedding at Jones River Trading was the best decision we made and cannot recommend it enough! You’re lucky if you get the privilege to have your event here and work with this team! So grateful for them all!

Michele was nothing but amazing when it came to helping me through the wedding planning process. We went to go on a tour of the venue met her and instantly fell in love with what was in front of us. Not only is the venue beautiful but they help bring your vision to life! Michele was there for everything I needed when it came to helping give names of other vendors to answering all my questions even through text. The whole staff was so professional the night of and Michele always made sure myself and the groom (as well as our families) always had a drink in our hand if we wanted one. She made sure we ate (and that is something easy to forget to do when saying hi to everyone) and made sure we were all having a great time! There were no hidden fee when it came to the venue they lay it all out for you at the first meeting and the food was delicious. If I could do it all over again I would pick Jones River in a heartbeat!

Michele, Chris & Team is amazing! You will never find a venue that is 1. Inexpensive 2. cares SO much about details & 3. Makes the whole process so easy! They don't have those 20% hidden fees, or any fee's really! the food is AMAZING (coming from a chef), drinks are average price, and the venue is just awesome in itself! so much room, not crowded, comfortable temp at all times! ( was here in may when 95 degrees and didnt sweat the whole night!) small living room in the back if you want some peace and quiet, and beautiful bridal suite! highly recommend getting married here or having really any event here!

I recently got married here and it was perfect. Michelle made it all come together. Any worry or concern I had she was right there and answered any and all questions. We had at least one fiasco happen that there was no way we could have planned for and Michelle went into problem solving mode right away. Best day ever!

Jones river trading was an awesome spot to have our wedding!!! I’m giving this 5 stars because Michelle was extremely helpful in the entire process. She let me text her with any questions and assisted me with anything my fiancé and I needed. Throughout the reception she made sure I have either water or a cocktail in hand and made sure everything was going smoothly. She even did the centerpieces and they exceeded my expectations since she put her own flair on them!!! Great big dance floor, awesome bridal sweet, quaint venue that holds up to 225 people, we had almost 200 and there was still plenty of room. Did I mention the great prices? Jones River is exceptionally cheaper than all other venues we explored. Highly recommend!!!!
