My daughter's wedding was last Saturday and it was absolutely perfect. The venue is amazing and everyone was so attentive and helpful. Craig was so easy to work with and the staff was great. Marina greeted us when we the wedding party checked in and she was so friendly. When our guests arrived the staff greeted them. Joe and Cheryll were great at the bar. The weather was touch and go until the very last minute if we would have the ceremony outside and the sun came out 15 minutes before the ceremony started. Everything was absolutely perfect and beyond my expectations. I cannot say enough about the staff and venue. Everyone was so friendly and the venue is a true gem.

The Lake House Inn is truly a one of a kind venue! The views from everywhere on the property are breathtaking - the lake, the back of the Inn with the gorgeous stair case and the reception space. The views sold me on this venue, along with everything they offer, and now I cannot wait for our wedding day! I am so excited that we can have all our bridal party stay at the Inn for an after party at the fire pit and then a breakfast the next day. I also cannot wait for the food! The Lake House Inn partners with Jeffrey Miller Catering and everything we tried at the tasting was absolutely amazing.

The Lake House Inn was our dream wedding venue and more. From the beginning when we decided to have our wedding there to when we said \"I do,\" the LHI team had our best interests in mind. They understood our vision and helped us achieve it, and we could not have asked for a more perfect day and weekend. Being able to stay on site at the inn was something our immediate families and wedding party really appreciated and that is not something that you get at other venues. From the Jeffrey Miller food that our guests raved about, to the view of the lake, to every detail in between, the venue and the staff at LHI went above and beyond. We would have our wedding at The Lake House Inn again and again if we could, and will remember our perfect day for the rest of our lives.

We had a fantastic experience at the Lake House Inn. Our wedding coordinator, Craig, was superb, and really was on the same page as us from day 1. His expertise, intuition, and friendly demeanor made the planning process easy and stress free. When our wedding day arrived, our expectations were exceeded, and the night was incredibly special for us, and our friends and family. Seeing my bride descend the steps was the happiest moment of my life. The food from JAM catering was delicious, the band sounded great in the ballroom, and there were countless other parts of the puzzle that went great because they really know what they are doing at the Lake House Inn.

My husband and I got married at the Lake House Inn last week. We cannot say enough good things about the day thanks to the entire staff. They all full-on HUSTLED the entire event, despite the 90 degree weather. From the moment we checked in to the Inn, they made us feel like family. We truly would not have wanted to get married anywhere else. The breathtaking views of the lake speak for themselves. Our guests got the BEST pictures and were so pleased. Staying at the Inn with our bridal party and parents was such an unforgettable experience. It was awesome having the rehearsal dinner, two breakfasts, and the entire wedding day on site. (We got married on a Friday so the rehearsal dinner was on a Thursday. Would HIGHLY recommend this because your guests stay at the Inn from Thursday-Saturday for the entire event). So convenient for all our guests and vendors. Marina is the innkeeper. I cannot say enough good things about her. I truly felt like she was family the entire time we stayed. She took several photos, accommodated every single request of all guests (from valeting people to their cars, cooking breakfast, changing lightbulbs - she truly did it all!) She also flagged the sunset the night of our reception and made sure that we got outside with our photographer to get pictures. I will never forget the hard work she put in to making the day so special for us.Holly was our planner. She was on top of the day and really thought out all the little details - from placement of the bouquets after the ceremony, champagne in the bridal suite, moving decorations from our cocktail hour to the reception - she had it all down. We are still so impressed with her work ethic and thoughtfulness. It made the day so very special.Craig was the assistant planner. He gave the best pep talk while I was waiting to walk down the isle with my Dad. He answered all my questions throughout the entire process.The owner Glenn personally congratulated me and made sure everything was perfect for us. He was very friendly and supportive. I felt like he truly cared about our experience. If you are on the fence about this venue, DO IT!!!!! It is worth every penny. We can never thank the Lake House Inn enough for helping to give us the best day of our lives. We can't wait to come back for our anniversary!!!

I can truly not express how incredibly perfect our wedding weekend was, but here we go! First off, I highly recommend having your wedding on a Friday, because you get to stay at the venue from Thursday afternoon through Saturday morning and having that extra time to enjoy the space and your family/friends made it even more special. We got a food truck for Thursday night and played corn hole and just had a blast. Craig was our event planner and he went above and beyond consistently to make sure we had everything we needed for every part of the event and ensured all our special touches were incorporated! All of the staff were friendly and wonderful, but special shout outs to Marina for taking such great care of us as well as Glenn the owner for being present at our rehearsal dinner evening. Sylvie, Randi, Prudence, Joe the bar manager and Jeffery Miller himself were all so pleasant. The venue truly speaks for itself in beauty and needs minimal decor, but the small decor we did bring and the decor that was provided by the venue was so beautiful in the space. Our guests loved every moment of our celebration and haven’t stopped talking about it. Food was delicious, cake was perfect, and all the apps and drinks were to die for! Hanging out after the reception in the grooms lounge and by the fire pit made it feel like our party never ended. To any bride worried about walking down the stairs, I promise it’s not that bad! My dress was even a bit too long and I made it successfully. While it was scary at first, it was a moment I’ll never forget and I’m so happy I was confident enough to do so. The getting ready space for both the brides side and the groomsmen was just perfect. Plenty of room for two hair and two makeup artists working at the same time, as well as at least 12 of us just hanging out. If you’re considering getting married here, just do it. No other venue we toured compared to the Lake House Inn, not only in beauty, but also in the package they offer you. Not stressing about food, bar, after party, or accommodation vendors made our planning process simple and fun. THANK YOU to all the LHI staff and Glenn for creating this special place to celebrate marriage. I have never been happier than I was on our wedding day. Can’t wait to come back for our anniversary!!!

We just had our wedding here this past weekend and we absolutely loved it. We picked this venue because they do everything from start to finish so there is very little stress. They really kept to this promise. They ask all the right questions to make sure you're prepared. Then support you through the whole process the weekend of the wedding. Craig was amazing and very supportive. The food was also excellent and you can't beat the view here. Our guests loved this venue and we got many compliments. I highly recommend having your wedding here if you want an all-inclusive venue at a beautiful spot with good food!

Our September wedding at the Lake house in was everything we had ever dreamed of and more! It was the most stunning venue, with the most breathtaking views, the nanny is like no other an absolute godsend, and the food is just outstanding. The biggest problem we had with the Lake house Inn was the responsiveness. It is near impossible to get them to reply to emails if your wedding isn’t a month away. I felt like the experience should have been so much better leading up to the wedding for how expensive the venue is. I also felt it could be so much less stressful on the bride if they weren’t given so much paperwork to do so last minute. Overall we had the most incredible wedding that we will never forget and cherish those memories, but there are areas to improve.

The Lake House Inn is simply breath-taking. Once you’ve seen the view from the story book doors in person, there’s no other option! The pictures don’t do it justice. Our guests enjoyed the convenience of having all of the day’s events in one location – getting ready, ceremony, cocktail hour, photos, reception, and after party. From the first day we toured to leaving the morning after our wedding, The Lake House Inn staff was responsive to our needs. Marina was highly attentive throughout the morning, afternoon, and late evening hours. She was back bright and early the following morning to see us off. The amenities of The Lake House Inn were amazing. The bridal suite with the additional room for hair and make up was the perfect getting ready setting. The gentlemen’s lounge was a chill space for hanging out pre- and post-ceremony as well as for the after party. The overnight lodging offered select guests an option to stay overnight after the reception and have an expanded continental breakfast the next morning. Majority of the rooms had their own private bathroom which allowed guests to get ready. Valet parking was offered to all overnight guests upon arrival and all rooms were ready for check-in ahead of schedule. Breakfast was included the morning after and we were very pleased with the variety of food and beverages. We could not have imagined a better wedding venue that put our guests first!

I wish I had the words to explain how incredible our wedding was at the LHI. Everyone always warned me to prepare for things to go wrong on your wedding day, but when I say not one single thing went wrong, I’m not lying! Craig, Dwight and Marina were absolutely INCREDIBLE to work with and I cannot say enough good thing about them. Once Craig was assigned as our planner, any time I reached out to him with a question he got back to us instantly. He made our wedding day absolutely flawless and made us feel so calm the entire day, same with Dwight. Marina is the nanny you’ve always dreamt of! Anything you needed, she was right there. It’s like she could sense when anyone needed anything! The venue and staff are a dream come true. We got married on a Friday so we went up Thursday to hold our rehearsal dinner at the venue. Our family and bridal party were all able to hangout after the rehearsal, then wake up to an incredible breakfast Friday morning before we started to get ready. We also woke up to another incredible breakfast Saturday morning after the wedding. It was absolutely amazing to be able to wake up in that beautiful venue with all your friends and family just right up/down the stairs. All of our guests raved about how incredible the day was including the ceremony, food, venue, etc. I could go on and on about how incredible this venue is. This place is gorgeous! The views are breathtaking and the staff are very accommodating. One of the highlights of this venue is the caterer Jeffrey A. Miller. The food was unreal and so well prepared. The wedding planner we had Craig was fantastic with helping prepare the menu and setup a private tasting for us before we chose our meals for the big day. Other guests that have been to other weddings said this place has it all the food, views, and beautiful scenery!

We have been working with Craig, and we can tell that is has been doing this for a while. He asks tons of questions and pays attention to detail-we are so confident that our day will run smoothly with him in charge. Our families and wedding party are ecstatic to be staying on the property with us. We cannot wait for our wedding weekend!

LHI speaks for itself! Everything went more smoothly than we could have ever imagined. My top goal was to be relaxed and not rushed along on my wedding day and the LHI staff made sure this happened. Our wedding was on a Friday and being able to have the rehearsal dinner and accommodations on site with our families and wedding party (especially with a lot of our nephews and nieces), was so convenient and FUN! Carol, our coordinator, went above and beyond to coordinate some extra little touches we wanted to add and answered every phone call and text when I had the smallest question or change. We quite literally were just able to relax and enjoy the day while Carol and the staff executed our plan. Marina had everything handled and was there for anything we or my guests needed at the inn. JAM catering...amazing food! All too often it is difficult to cook >100 steaks to perfection, but it was perfect. So many guests had clean plates and that was AFTER cocktail hour when the appetizers were everywhere you could turn.My husband and I keep going through the day and there was nothing we would have changed about our perfect day!

Everything was PERFECT!! Being in the wedding business we understand that every detail counts and the smallest oops can happen and change the vibe. Let me just say there wasn't one OOPS!!! You are amazing at your job. From the first phone call last September to us walking out the door yesterday at 11. I could honestly sing your praises all day long. Your staff and co-workers are absolutely the best anyone could ask for. Craig, Dwight, Joe, and Marina, just to name a few, are amazing and made the experience not only perfect but relaxing and enjoyable. The only pressure Alan and I felt all day was the worry of the dreaded steps!!!! Even the waitstaff was attentive and friendly. Again, there are not enough words or time to sing your praises!The Lake House Inn and JAM catering is by the far going to go down in our list of the top 10!! We booked our wedding at The Lake House Inn for 2020 and though stressful to postpone twice it was so worth the wait! Our wedding day was perfect and everything ran seamlessly. Our guests were wowed by the venue and we received many compliments on how great it all was. The venue itself is so picturesque- walking down the large ceremony staircase was such a magical moment. The service was fabulous- we were consistently taken care of and Craig made sure we had anything we needed on the day of. The food during cocktail hour (the Tomahawk Steak and Corned beef WOW) and the sit-down dinner was delicious- JAM catering did a wonderful job. The afterparty was a blast and it was so convenient and fun to have guests stay together at the venue after the reception to continue the celebrations. Marina was delightful and helped us with everything we could need for the after party (until the wee hours of the morning) and even provided some wise marital advice! Overall, we could not have asked for a better wedding celebration and would recommend the Lake House Inn to anyone!

Although this doesn’t need to be said, the Lake House Inn is one of the most picturesque wedding venues you could ever imagine and combined with the phenomenal staff it truly is a world class venue. Craig, Dwight, Marina and the rest of the staff truly made our 3 day, 2 night stay with them relaxing and seemingly effortless. From Craig helping coordinate every last detail, to the hospitality we received during our wedding weekend it truly could not have been more perfect. Their food caterer, Jeffrey A. Miller, exceeded not only our expectations but all of our guests as well. They could not stop remarking about how delicious and creative all the food was from the cocktail hour, to the reception, to the deserts, to the after party and finally to the parting party favors (cupcakes in a jar are a must have!). We could not recommend more getting married at the Lake House Inn – you will be blown away by the whole experience! Thank you so much Craig, Dwight, Marina and the rest of your phenomenal staff for making our wedding so special!!

We booked our wedding with Lake House Inn in 2018 for 2020, and when we had to postpone not once, but twice, the staff were extremely accommodating to make sure we could have our dream wedding day. The planning leading up to the big day was stressful, but it was totally worth it. The Lake House Inn was the first venue we toured and we completely fell in love with the space and the amenities provided. We checked in Thursday, hosted our rehearsal dinner there, and checked out Saturday morning. It was a full wedding weekend experience and we loved every minute. Craig, Carol, Dwight, Marina and staff went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Our guests were wowed by the venue and we received so many compliments on how beautiful everything was. If I could get married at LHI over and over again I would!

We were really concerned that so much could fall apart due to the pandemic. When we had to postpone my daughter's wedding originally scheduled in May 2020 there was no telling when or even if The Lake House would be available. To their credit, the staff worked with us to reschedule for spring. They fulfilled every promise made in the original contract, and more. Each staff person was extraordinary, taking care of even the details we had not even though about. The inn was so well suited to every aspect of the wedding. The owner is an honorable person who kept his commitments to us in spite of the extra costs he incurred to keep our guests safe. We would make this our choice again and again. Thank you for an epic wedding experience.

The Lake House Inn exceeded my expectations. Everyone there went out of their way to make sure every need or want was taken care of. The professionalism along with the beauty of the Lake House made for a perfect wedding day despite it being colder than we would like. Even with that they made it possible to make my outdoor wedding perfect! I always felt so comfortable talking to or asking any questions I had to them. Carol will always be a huge highlight for me, along with Glenn, Dwight, Craig, and Marina! Every guest who was there could not stop talking about it after, and were so thankful they were able to attend. The owners and staff at the Lake House Inn are wonderful and anyone who wants to have a beautiful flawless wedding should have their wedding there.

When looking to book our wedding we were looking to hold the ceremony and reception all in one place to limit the movement and timing of guests. When we stumbled across the Lake House Inn, we thought we had already found our venue and almost cancelled. We went a cold and dreary day, but instantly felt the warmth and glow of the venue. Craig, Carol, and Glenn have been so accommodating and also have fielded many questions from us throughout the process. They have provided recommendations for our Food Truck rehearsal dinner :) (Who doesn't love a lake side picnic) Carol has helped walk us through the menu, and table placements. We feel we are in great handsThey have given us multiple tours of the Inn, the Reception Hall, and the Adjacent homes. This experience has been fantastic!

Beware!!!!!!! The owner is a crook!!We cancelled a wedding 3 weeks before the one year date required for a full refund and the owner will not return our 5k deposit. We have been trying to get it back since last November and recently we hired an attorney who wrote a letter and he has ignored that as well. He is so awful that he has not responded to one call or email from us since last November! He leaves it up to his manager to speak to us, who happens to agree that we should have gotten our deposit back.We even went so far as to ask if we could schedule a party on the date since he would not give us the $$ back and he failed to get back to us on that idea too. We will see him in court! Don't patronize Lake House Inn unless you are sure that if your plans change you don't mind losing your deposits!

We just had our wedding at The Lake House Inn this past weekend. It was an incredible experience! Through all the changes during the pandemic, they were open, honest, and very thorough with how the laws were impacting their venue and our event. It was a seamless process to move our wedding date from March to August. Two weeks before state laws limited gatherings, and The Lake House Inn moved mountains to ensure we wouldn't have to move our wedding again.The planning, food selection, and decoration options were extremely easy to select. The owner, Glenn, was phenomenal, and present on the day of to make sure we had everything we need. The inn keeper, Marina, might as well be you adoptive mom while you are there. It was a first class experience from our arrival to departure, where you end up feeling bonded with those who are there to support you on your day.I cannot say enough great things about the venue and those who support your day!

We had our wedding at The Lake House Inn on 7/11/20 and it was without a doubt the best day ever because of them. The staff at The Lake House Inn were incredibly accommodating and helped us with anything and everything we needed. This was all on top of needing to change our venue 8 days before. We were so lost, and when they said they could hold our wedding, we were literally crying tears of joy. With everything going on in the world, we just needed something to go right, and they made it happen. Me and my girls actually slept there the night before so when we woke up we could get ready there and enjoy the day. The rooms made us feel like royalty and was an experience I'll never forget. We had the most beautiful day and everything ran smoothly, and then at night we had an after party around the fire pit. It was an absolute blast and our guests are still raving about it. It was a day we will never forget, and everything was perfect because of them. I HIGHLY recommend The Lake House Inn for all couples!

There are no words to describe just how wonderful our wedding was this past weekend at The Lake House Inn. The venue is not only stunning and picturesque but flexible, accommodating, and personable (even in the middle of a pandemic). There was nothing they weren't willing to work with us and they bent over backwards to make our day happen. The owner, Glen, was present throughout our entire event and very responsive to communication leading up to the wedding. And the Inn Keeper, Marina, my goodness, talk about a saint! She left no stone unturned to ensure that our day was nothing short of perfection. Our closest friends and family were able to spend the night and enjoy the fire pit after party. Everyone's rooms were spotless and individually magnificent. We truly don't have enough good things to say about our experience and we will be forever grateful to The Lake House Inn for making our wedding dreams a reality!

This venue was very unorganized and inattentive. Our wedding was in November, so we met with our wedding planner Anthia in August to go over details. We chose the menu, planned the after party and went over the usual details. Three months before my wedding I reached out to Anthia with questions and did not get one response to my emails or phone calls for 6 weeks. I finally had to reach out via Facebook and talk to management for her to get back to me with answers. Two weeks before the wedding I had a question about the after-party we planned in August, to which she informed us she didn't write down what we chose the after party option, therefore it had been forgotten about and nothing had been done for it. Even after trying to stay in contact leading up to the wedding the week of our wedding she sends about 10 documents that needed to be filled out (which could have easily been taken care of weeks earlier when friends and family had not started arriving for the wedding). We had also talked about me bringing my therapy dog in August to which she said she didn't see a problem. When I arrived with my dog at noon she said someone from my wedding party would need to stand outside with the dog and he wasn't allowed in. It was 40 degrees outside and this had not been mentioned previously, plus he is a certified service animal and they legally can't enforce that. I kept him in the grooms suite and he was no problem whatsoever. They ask for details in August but obviously don't do anything with the information until the week of, when you get bombarded with emails of things that should have been taken care of months ago. Also, I saw the owner of the Inn walking inside the Inn and on the grounds a few times, like he was checking up on us but didn't introduce himself or sat congratulations, just saw him walking around the hallways even into the afterparty. Clearly this is a beautiful and popular venue, but so understaffed that the service is awful and made the week and day of my wedding so much more stressful that it had to be. If you chose to book here, just know they will do most of the planning the week of so prepare accordingly!

Our wedding was at The Lake House Inn on Friday, December 6, 2019. All I can say is this...it was easily, without a doubt, the best weekend of our entire lives—and we credit that to The Lake House Inn venue itself and amazing staff. From the day we booked the venue (September 9, 2018), through the day after the wedding, it was nonstop fun. The food tasting/meal planning, seating arrangements, final meetings, etc., the Lake House Inn staff was nothing short of amazing. We fell in love with the venue the minute we got there. It will always hold such a special place in our hearts. I wish we could relive that weekend over and over and over again. Even though our wedding was on an overcast day in December, the day couldn't have been more perfect. We only live 25 minutes away from the venue, yet it felt like we were at destination wedding. It literally feels like you're at a rustic (yet also contemporary) resort in the woods. I give this venue a 12/10 to everyone I know! It's absolutely beautiful, it's unique and unlike anywhere else I've been for a wedding. The fact that our extended family could all stay at the venue was such a game changer. That was huge for us. It was one big PARTY. I recommend it to everyone because I want to go back there for someone else's wedding. My husband Anthony and I talk about it all the time and will forever! Can't say enough good things about this place. Book your wedding at The Lake House Inn!!!

Our wedding day was spectacular. We looked at LHI about a year and a half beforehand. We fell in love with the entire grounds (the house, the lake view, the rooms to stay in, the ballroom, etc) and were eager to book right away. Compared to other places we had viewed, we were pleased with the approach that everything for the most part was included vs. other places that wanted to nickel and dime for everything. We loved the tasting experience - it felt like being at a mini wedding. The entire team is extremely hospitable and easy to talk to. They also have a lot of experience so they were able to remain calm during the planning process. However, about 6 months leading up to the wedding things became a bit complicated. This could be a one off situation because LHI lost a wedding planner so everything fell on their main planner but communication started to fall through the cracks. It took months to hear back on our requests after we had our 3 hour sit down planning meeting. We heard back very close to the wedding about drastic costs increase (50% higher) for food/alcohol that had never been communicated. At the tasting we were told we could do stations vs. a plated dinner and it was represented that this would not have a significant impact on the cost. It did end up feeling like we were being charged for little things here and there which was frustrating to manage right before the wedding. It did seem like this was a disconnect between Jeffrey Miller Catering and LHI though. Ultimately, the day of was seamless and I had zero complaints. We are grateful for our experience and will have an unforgettable memories of our special day!

The Lake House was the first venue we looked at and immediately felt like that was where we were meant to get married. The venue is stunning and you can't beat the views. The wedding day is structured down to the minute which doesn't leave much wiggle room for anything. The staff was very attentive the night of the wedding. It poured rain up until an hour before my ceremony and Glen, the owner, was out there drying the chairs off so that the ceremony could still be outside. Marina, the housekeeper, was phenomenal throughout the overnight stay, she went above and beyond for us. My one complaint is responsiveness, especially after your wedding when you are no longer a bride to them. When I had questions about my ceremony, my planner would take a week on average to get back to me, which makes other decisions hard to make while I waited on the answers. Afterwards, we had a discrepancy with how many meals we should have received to take home since we were under the minimum guest count and we received no response until weeks later when the food would have been spoiled by then. We were offered dinner in the city to make up for it which was a nice gesture but we would have rather had the food from that night since it was so delicious. Overall, we would recommend The Lake House; they offer a gorgeous, full service venue, but they definitely need to work on their communication.

The Lake House Inn is an absolute dream venue for a wedding!! I got married here on November 15th, and it was by far the most gorgeous place I’ve ever been to for a wedding (& I’m not just saying that because it was my own haha). From the stunning views and the amazing ballroom, to the awesome room accommodations and the beautiful terrace overlooking everything... there is nothing that isn’t worth talking about at this place!! Our wedding was on a Friday, so we got a 2 night stay which was my favorite part of everything! I loved that my family and friends were able to spend the weekend with us during the rehearsal on Thursday until we left Saturday morning... breakfast both mornings... late night fire pit hang outs... everything available to us 24/7... it was intimate and the whole stay was wonderfully executed. Our wedding day was hands down a day that I will never forget and I thank the lake house for that!! My great wedding planner Anthia, the manager Dwight, all the staff of Jam catering, and Marina “Nanny” the housekeeper were ALL incredibly accommodating, supportive, professional, and helped to create an amazing wedding weekend for us and our guests. Even our valet was super friendly, nice and quick at getting our cars! The food was some of the best I’ve ever eaten and all of my guests were raving about it... the appetizers and rehearsal dinner, the cocktail hour and the wedding dinner- all top notch. Jeffrey Miller is A+++!! I can’t thank the Lake House enough and EVERYONE involved. And thanks to the owner Glenn for turning this place into an elegant, romantic, and exquisite dream of a venue for any bride and groom to be married!! PERFECTION. I’m praying someone else I know gets married there just so I can come back 😂

I know I'm the bride and people are nice to me on my wedding day, but my parents, my husband, etc... people could NOT stop raving about how *amazing the wedding was*. I truly have The Lake House Inn to thank for a lot of it. My review will definitely be honest, as there are some things I want to note, but bottom line would 100% recommend The Lake House Inn. I had a 180 person party -- I can't imagine fitting 300 people into the reception hall, but 180 was great. First, I actually want to give the biggest shoutout to Marina. She stayed up until *4am with us* while the bridal party was still awake. She had a full breakfast spread the next morning. She was SO kind and so sweet and I hope that she is recognized for it!!! Firstly, the biggest positives. The venue is obviously stunning. Go early, we went 2 YEARS before our wedding and our first choice weekend was already gone! The attached house where your bridal party can stay was worth it if you have a big one. The lake is unreal. Standing at the altar area I was absolutely stunned by how beautiful it was and felt so lucky to be married there. The third parties that the Lake House Inn works with, Jeffrey Miller catering, and Buttercup florals, are out of this world. Awesome. Every third party vendor I brought in was handled smoothly (DJ, pianist, slow mo booth, outside wedding planner). Anthia was ON TOP OF THINGS day of and helped out a ton, the morning after as well. The entire event couldn't have gone more smoothly. Everything they advertise is accurate and wonderful. I am so grateful I had such a wonderful wedding with them.I will note a few tiny things in hopes it'll be helpful to future brides and maybe for staff consideration!-Communication via email, which is my heavily preferred way of communicating, was bad. It was bad, I'm sorry. I rarely got an answer without bumping the thread multiple times, or calling. I will note that calling the venue will get you an answer insanely quickly! -I think there is some forgetfulness that it is (probably) the brides first time getting married. I felt like I was prying tooth and nail to get details like \"how do we walk down the aisle? What do I expect??\" because I was nervous weeks and days leading up. I didn't know the answer to these questions until RIGHT BEFORE we were going to walk down. -The grounds' flower choice was slightly disappointing -- I got married on September 28th and had a very dark/fall color scheme (something they knew because they also did my flowers). I was the *last* day for summer flower bushes (the ones that line the ceremony site), and they were white and BRIGHT PINK. They tore them out the day after my wedding lol, of course! Ask what colors they'll be!-Upgrades that feel very necessary are very expensive. Decorating the space. Wine that isn't $4 bottles from Costco. We actually had an issue getting information on the wine upgrade and paid over $13 per person -- only to have the cheap wine sitting out when our guests arrived!!! We're wine people, so it definitely was a small but very important problem.-Decorating the stairway! Very expensive but I felt was very worth it.Thank you Lake House! My wedding still feels like a dream. My guests had the. BEST. time. And my husband and I couldn't have asked for a better day. And that's what matters! Thank you.

My Niece and New Nephew just recently had their wedding at your Venue. And I would like to tell you just how lovely everything was. My husband & I felt like we were in a big family home. Your venue is very welcoming and very comfortable, we enjoyed every minute we got to be there for their amazing wedding. The date was Sunday the 15th of September it was the Swites/Nieowdowsi wedding, and I must say your place was absolutly amazing I loved it there. Very clean, and your Staff was extreemly helpful in every single way possible. We had a great experiance and I have already told a few people about your Venue hoping they decide to use your place, they will be very happy if they do for sure. Everything was in my eyes just perfect. The food was absolulty AMAZING!!! And again I can not say enough about your staff, from the moment we arrived, the woman at the desk I think she said she is from Siria? Loved Loved her to the moon and back, she was totally awesome with my Mother -in - Law the grandmother of the Bride. Getting her everything she needed.. Very sweet woman, I wanted to bring her home with us lol. Your staff at Dinner also very very pleasant helpful and very respectful, and all of that is so very hard to find. You are very Blessed to have the employees you have they help to make your buisness as enjoyable for your clients and that is not an easy task at all. So My main reason for this is to just THANK YOU ALL so very very much for helping to make our Dearest Niece and now Nephew's wedding a HUGE success, we enjoyed being there for all of it, and hoping that with telling our friends about you, that we get to visit your Place again in the near future and further on. Our deepest Thanks again for all the hard work, delious food and great service, the bondfire was just what we all needed to calm down and get a great nights rest. Keep up the AMAZING WORK YOU DO!!! My husband and I got married at The Lake House Inn this past June. First off, the venue truly exceeded our expectations in every aspect of the day. It was such a good feeling to arrive on a Thursday (we got married on Friday) and know we had the whole venue to celebrate with our family and friends all weekend. From the moment we arrived, we had the FULL attention of the staff. We could not thank Anthia, Marina, and Dwight enough - THEY ARE MAGIC MAKERS! Marina was truly like family for the bridal party and parents - she took care of us all and made it feel like home from morning until late nights by the fire pit. Anthia's attention to detail, timeliness, and precision made our day so stress free. Dwight was also a huge help with set up and keeping us updated through out the weekend. If you want your wedding venue to be so much more than a 5 hour event - The Lake House Inn is for you! It became home for us during the best weekend of our lives!

The Lake House Inn exceeded me and my husband's expectations in every single way. The staff was on top of everything the whole day, and made sure that each and every one of our guests felt special and that everything went off without a hitch. The venue itself was so unbelievably stunning, we had perfect weather and the outside ceremony space was breathtaking. Even if we had had bad weather though, the indoor reception space would have been just as amazing. I just want to be invited to a wedding there now so I can experience it all again as a guest. I would recommend this venue to everyone, especially someone who wants a beautiful outdoor setting and to be treated like royalty the whole time.

We couldn’t be happier with our choice to get married at the Lake House Inn. After touring other venues in eastern PA, we felt there was no comparison. The location is stunning, the inn & ballroom are beautiful, and the service was exceptional. We loved that we could have our family & friends stay with us and it made the day even more special.The LHI planners made the planning experience so seamless. From choosing our menu, to finding vendors, to making sure every detail was accounted for on the big day, Anthia & Courtney were amazingly helpful. On our wedding day, I felt so comfortable leaving everything to them so we could have a carefree day. These ladies, and even the LHI owner Glenn, were everywhere all at once. Fun details included like a wine tasting during cocktail hour, sparkler exit, firepit afterparty made great memories.The in-house caterer was phenomenal as well. We had unique stations for cocktail hour-like a bacon bar and Korean bbq- delicious main course and a beautiful & tasty cake from Jeffrey Miller Catering. They do a fun group tasting (it is like a wedding in and of itself)! The catering captain on our wedding day, Dwight, took SUCH good care of us & our guests - accommodating special requests and going the extra mile with every detail.Our wedding at the LHI felt like a dream. We wanted a perfect day to remember, and our expectations were most definitely exceeded.

We chose to get married on a Friday so that we could also have the venue for Thursday night. There is nothing quite like moving into the Lake House with all of your closest friends and family to celebrate your wedding. It feels like home! The accommodations are modern and beautiful. It feels like a 5-star hotel – only better! All of our guests truly enjoyed their stay. Thursday kicks off with a welcome bon fire and allows your wedding party to start relaxing and having fun. For there on, it only gets better. We got ready at the Lake House and the bridal suite and grooms lounge are perfect for the respective parties. Everything works together seamlessly.One of the best things about the Lake House is the staff. I cannot say enough about Anthia, Dwight, Marina, and Glenn. They take such care, attention to detail, to every aspect of your wedding. Seriously, you feel like part of the family. Anthia was my particular wedding planner and she is amazing – best in the business. She takes care of everything, fixes every little possible problem, and knows the venue and flow of a Lake House wedding to a tee! I don’t have the words to really sum up how I feel about the Lake House and the staff. It was the wedding experience of my dreams. Two full days celebrating all the people you love the most. Even after the “wedding” ends, there is an after-party bon fire for all the over night guests. You will not be disappointed with The Lake House. And trust me, you won’t want to leave!For any brides with particular questions, feel free to reach out to me! I had a 300-guest party at the LHI and we tented both the cocktail terrace and ballroom terrace to accommodate this many people. Lake House Inn was the first venue we toured and were sold right away. It was exactly what we were looking for as we didn't want the traditional country club reception. Jeffery Miller catering was delicious! Still on cloud nine from our amazing wedding at the lake house inn. As all brides are leading up to the wedding was extremely stressful wondering how everything will turn out but Anthia and team know what they're doing. Everything went smoothly and my husband and I felt like royalty all night! Everything to always making sure I had a drink in hand and they somehow got me a drink they didn't even have to bringing up hor dourves so we didn't miss a thing in all the excitement. The indoor ceremony option is also breathtaking as the outdoors. We had to switch it up last minute but it turned out beautiful. The lake house inn itself is so beautiful and it was a wonderful experience to stay there after the reception and hang by the bonfire. Marina made us feel so welcome and made it feel like home for that day! Cannot rave enough about this place and that day! Definitely recommend for a beautiful wedding and everything you need in one place.

I want to start by saying thank you to the Lake House, and to my wedding planner Anthia to the most amazing day of my life. I couldn't of asked for a more beautiful breathtaking experience. This venue is hands down exceptional. The view is beautiful as well as the ballroom. I can say my husband and I are still in shock with how amazing our wedding day was. Anthia did a fantastic as my wedding planner, and I pretty much was on the phone with her everyday, because I was a nervous bride of course, but she was so reassuring with everything. She is one of the sweetest people I know, and I am just so beyond thankful she was my wedding planner. Heather was my assistant wedding planner, and she was absolutely amazing as well, and so sweet! Them both combined made my wedding day that much more amazing. I will forever remember this day, and all thanks to the Lake House Inn for helping my wedding day be so magical. All my friends and family said this was hands down one of the best weddings they have every attended in their lives. The venue, the view, and the staff make this place just spectacular. The Lake House Inn and their whole entire staff is out of this world! From the moment we walked in to their open house, meeting Glen, Anthia, Heather, Marina ans Dwight - we knew we had to get married at the LHI.The planning process was flawless. Whatever we asked for, they helped us achieve. And that doesn’t mean more $$$, we took out what we didn’t want and was able to sub in some stuff and really create the wedding of our dreams. Small soup shooter with your salad course? DONE! Half wedding half eagles cake? DONE! The girls wanted chicken salad while we were getting ready, the truck didn’t drop it off the night before, so Anthia went out and MADE IT THAT MORNING. I kid you not when I tell you, they take care of you and make sure you have the day you wanted.The weather even cooperated! But, the plan B is so beautiful, it almost doesn’t matter what it’s doing outside 😎Being on the lake, having the beautiful ball room and the sparkler send off, it totally exceeded our expectations. I highly recommend the LHI and JAM catering; the food, the venue and reception, along with being able to stay at the inn after and brunch the next day ... an absolutely spectacular weekend!!

We just got back from our honeymoon and words really cannot describe what an amazing weekend we had at the Lake House Inn. We did the \"ultimate weekend\" and so had a welcome party on Friday and everything was absolutely perfect. Even though it was the same venue, the vibe felt completely different and both days were totally seamless. I worked primarily with Anthia, who is incredible, and who really worked to accommodate all of our visions with some really helpful suggestions. My favorite part about the LHI is being able to stay on site with close friends/family. It was so special being able to wake up in the morning the day before and after with my best friends to have breakfast and chat quietly before the events started. It all felt like a fairytale and my only regret is that it's over!

My family and I toured this venue this week. To say the least, I have been in love with this place for some time now and was completely and utterly convinced that we would be booking the Lake House Inn for our big day. I am, however, very disappointed in how their business was carried out. It took me weeks to get just an appointment scheduled, and, when we arrived, it seemed like we were more inconveniencing their day. Granted, my parents are a bit difficult to work with, and we had some really annoying requests (ie dry wedding per parent's request) to deal with. When my dad offered to pay the same amount for the venue and just not have the alcohol present, a whole conversation ensued about why that cannot happen. I understand that a business is a business at the end of the day, but, I have toured other venues and all of them have been willing to work with us, especially with as high of a budget as we are working with. I was very disappointed in how rigid their structures seemed to be. It felt as if they we were limited to their vision of my wedding, rather than having a planner who was willing to work with us to create the wedding that we envisioned. Again, this couldn't have been an easy meeting for our guide, but, it's been a few days and I still haven't gotten any follow-up emails with available dates at all, which were promised. In short, I think the Lake House Inn has a lot of work to do on their communication. They may be the most beautiful place on earth, but, with almost as beautiful places with superior service, I am left feeling very disappointed that my fairy tale venue wasn't as I remembered or imagined.

Think twice about booking this venue for your wedding!! My March 2018 wedding was extremely stressful because of this venue. I came across the lake house inn and went to their open house where everything and everyone was so nice and seemed like they were ready to make your dream wedding come true, in reality they just want your money. After signing the contract you will start being told different information from what you were told during the open house, for example, I was told I would be able to have my hair and makeup done at the venue during their open house tour however I found out I wasn’t allowed to use the bridal suite till a certain time if a wedding is held the previous day therefore leaving me unable to get my hair and make up done on location after booking an only on location salon. I was unable to bring my centerpieces (small lanterns/fake flower wreath) the day before because they didn’t have space in the entire venue to fit a box of my things. Therefore leaving me to carry all the necessary things in the morning of my wedding! Communication was horrible when it came to answering my questions and problems with billing. And that’s just to name a few of the problems I ran into over the course of planning my wedding. Fast forward to the day of my wedding, it was complete chaos! Upon arriving you are told to get everyone ready for the rehearsal of the ceremony(yes that is done the morning of your wedding also) the lady conducting the ceremony had absolutely no clue on how a ceremony should go, telling my maid of honor to walk out first, if any one has been to a wedding your MOH should be the last girl to walk out besides the flower girl. They had guest who arrived early hangout where I was taking pictures therefore all my guests practically saw me in my dress before the ceremony. To say the least this venue was completely unorganized from day one of signing the contract to the end of my wedding day. The lake house inn is an extremely beautiful venue and the catering company they work with is amazing but the unnecessary stress of dealing with the lake house inn staff and how unaccommodating they are definitely makes me not recommend them to anyone!

My husband and I had our wedding at the LHI this past April (on our 7 year anniversary!) and to say it was absolutely magical would be a complete understatement. From the time we started planning 2 years ago to two seconds before the ceremony began, Anthia, Heather, and all the other staff members of the Lake House Inn and Jeffrey Miller Catering were incredible. They are the most attentive and considerate individuals from minute to minute and literally do not let you worry about anything. I wasn't nervous about a single thing leading up to the event but I still have a tendency to worry if I forgot something! Not one person left anything to be missed and each staff member made me feel relaxed, taken care of, and gave their 1000% every minute of our wedding. From the accommodations, to the views, to the AMAZING FOOD, nothing will be out of place with a wedding at the Lake House Inn. If considering the LHI for your big day, I highly recommend choosing a date that falls on Friday. Doing so allows you to stay overnight from Thursday evening through Saturday, essentially affording you an almost three day long experience for the price one day! The LHI is such a luxurious building, but still manages to provide a feeling of \"home\

Our wedding was Labor Day weekend and my husband and I couldn't be happier with our decision to get married at the LHI. My brother got married at the LHI 7 years ago and even though I loved it then they have made several updates to the venue to make it even more incredible! The grounds are stunning for an outdoor ceremony (while still having the best plan B of any venue we visited), the ballroom is beautiful and spacious and the craft beer tasting in the wine cellar during the cocktail hour was a unique experience. Having our entire bridal party stay overnight is what really drew me to the LHI. There is also a large bridal suite and grooms lounge to get ready in before the ceremony. The after party at the fire pit was a perfect way to end our night with our closest guests.Anthia, Heather, Glenn, Marina and all of the staff at the LHI were wonderful throughout the planning process and made sure the night went off without a hitch. They even remembered the craft beer my husband liked at our group tasting and made sure it was on our sweetheart table during dinner! The food was also incredible, and almost two months later we are still getting compliments from our guests. We even got to meet Jeffrey Miller as he was at the LHI that night!I can't say enough about the LHI. Our only complaint is that we can't do it all over again this weekend! I would HIGHLY recommend the LHI for anyone looking for a unique wedding experience!

The venue was absolutely perfect and stunning. We LOVED the convenience of having the Inn both Thursday night before our wedding day and Friday night, as well. It’s hard to find a venue with that convenience. It is very expensive, however, and we felt there were a lot of added expenses to get exactly what we wanted. Until the wedding day neared, especially when attempting to view the venue, we had trouble getting in touch with anyone. The venue itself, however, deserves five stars. Everything went so smoothly the day of and the night before! Marina, the housekeeper, is a pleasure!

I experienced my DREAM wedding at the lake house inn. Anthia is a flawless wedding planner/ coordinator who allowed for me to feel perfectly calm from the second I walked in to the lake house the day before my wedding, to the follow up texts and calls I received from her the day after the wedding. To say that I felt zero stress the day of the wedding doesn't even begin to describe the way that anthia coordinated the vendors, family, wedding party, and eventually guests. Anthia doing this allowed for me to be able to truly bask in the memories of the day which I believe most brides do not get to experience. To go on.... my husband is a beer SNOB and the lake house was so open to coordinating a beer tasting that even he got so excited about. It was also a torrential down pour the day of my wedding which, literally did not matter. The beauty of the indoor ceremony option allowed for us to have the dream ceremony we wanted on the lake without having to deal with any rain at all. The overall experience that I am trying to express through this scattered review , is that a wedding at the lake house inn will be nothing short of magical. My wedding day was my absolute perfect day.

We looked at almost every wedding venue in Bucks County for our daughter and son-in-law's wedding. The Lake House was the first place we visited and from then on, it was the place to beat. Nothing came close. First, let me say that while it is rated as and seems expensive, you have to understand what you're getting here. Other venues may appear less, but, when you add in the extras at the other venues, do the math and you realize it was already included at the Lake House. The grounds and ballroom are magnificent and need little extra. No need to worry about a rain plan because it's already in place. Our family is still talking about the stunning sight of the Bride at the top of the long staircase as the ceremony began. The space actually accommodates the number of people it says it can including a dance floor without feeling like a sardine. When was the last time you had a place to sit, a table to set your drink on, or had room to move during cocktail hour? The staff, from the coordinator to the shuttle bus driver were not only professional and good at what they do, but went over and above attending to our guests. One guest arrived with a tux button hanging from his jacket looking for a needle and thread. Someone took the jacket from him, sewed the button and helped him put it back on! Who does that?? If there was an issue, Anthia and Heather had it taken care of before you knew there was one. Everyone raved about the food from cocktail hour through dessert . The After Party, lovely, comfortable rooms, and breakfast the next morning were the perfect ending to a magical weekend. The newlyweds will tell you it truly was the wedding of their dreams. My only wish is for someone to have their wedding here and invite us so we can relax and be guests!

The Lake House Inn was the first venue that my now husband and I looked at. We knew once we visited that nothing could beat it and nothing did come close! The LHI is absolutely stunning and every detail is thought out and planned by the staff. The entire planning process was seamless-- they even gave us the info for several preferred vendors which made the process that much easier for us (they all went above and beyond as well! ) The day of was a true fairy tale, the staff all made sure that everything was executed perfectly and that the day went off without a hitch. On my wedding I truly felt like I was royalty with the way that the staff attended to my every need. The event staff and Jeffrey A Miller created an event that our families will never forget. I highly recommend staying overnight at the Inn-- it was so much fun having an after-party with our friends and family and even breakfast in the morning by the lake! I truly believe that you get what you pay for and if you are able to shell out the funds for the lake house inn you will receive the most incredible day and service-- worth every penny! I would do it all again in a heart beat. Thank you LHI!! You made the best day of our lives spectacular!

From the moment my husband and I saw the lake House Inn we fell in love with it. Our wedding, as one of our guests put it, was “a masterpiece” and it was 100% because of the amazing work Anthia and Heather put in to help make it all happen. They were extremely attentive to not only myself and my husband, but also to our guests. Our guests raved about how wonderful they were!The Inn is phenomenal- the lanters, the signs, the general upkeep of the property. We had been to a few open houses to show our parents the venue and somehow on our wedding day it was even more beautiful! JAM catering was a huge hit as well, and our guests were highly vocal about how much they enjoyed every food they ate! We could not recommend this venue more. It’s not every day a bride and groom leave their venue wishing they could come back!

Wow! We can't even begin to describe how amazing our wedding at The Lake House Inn was. When it comes to wedding venues, you get what you pay for. There is nothing about the venue and the service that you couldn't fall in love with. We first visited the venue in July of 2016. We met with Anthia (one of the lake house wedding planners) and the owner (Glen). They were both extremely kind, helpful, and generous. They walked us through the whole venue from the gorgeous indoors, to the 14 unique rooms, to the beautiful outdoor ceremony space, and lastly the amazing reception space. I never thought I wanted a long walkway in front of all of our guests, but the walk down the inn's stairs is incredible (everything a bride dreams of and more). The ceremony and reception occurred without any missteps. This was ALL due to our amazing wedding planner and assistant. They made everyone feel welcome, comfortable, and satisfied. Everything is taken care of at this venue. The outdoor ceremony space is beautiful, the cocktail hour space is very spacious and even includes a wine tasting cellar, the reception space is gorgeous, and we even had an after party by the fire pit! We are incredibly happy with our wedding and felt like it couldn't have gone any better. Even our guests can't stop raving about it and continue to say that it was the best and most beautiful wedding they've ever been to! Thank you to the Lake House Inn!

Stunning Venue! We can’t say enough good things about the Lake House Inn. We stumbled upon the venue about a month or so into wedding planning and knew almost immediately that this was the place we wanted to get married. The venue itself is just amazing – simple, elegant, rustic, and dramatic all at the same time. The view from the Inn looking out over the lake is breath-taking, and when dressed up for a ceremony it’s truly spectacular. The LHI also has many unique “extras” that really make it stand out in a way that you can’t appreciate until you are experiencing it first-hand; the wine cellar, the after-party fire pit, and the rooms of the Inn itself are all so well-appointed and wonderful addition to the wedding experience. On top of the scenery, the customer service and support from Anthia, Glenn, and the rest of the staff is exceptional. Anthia was very responsive to all my random questions throughout the planning process and was an incredibly helpful partner in thinking through both the big items and the small nuances of the evening. She is a professional and does an excellent job working with the Bride & Groom leading up to the big day and then runs a seamless wedding the entire evening. The food from Jeffery Miller Catering is absolutely top-notch, some of the best wedding food I’ve ever tasted and our guests definitely echoed that sentiment. We had approximately 160 guests attend along with a 10-person band and the ballroom was very comfortable even with a packed dance floor. There are about a million other positive things I could mention about the Lake House Inn but instead I’ll just say…Go see this venue, you will not regret it!!!

The Lake House Inn is an absolutely gorgeous venue and perfect in every way. We had our wedding there last September and we still talk about how much we loved the venue. It is such a unique space to have a wedding and it offers so many special touches that you really can't find anywhere else--- from the exquisite views, to the dramatic ballroom, to the amazing bridal suite and groom's lounge, to the awesome after party and beautiful overnight accommodations.... we couldn't have imagined a better place to get married. The staff at the inn are also wonderful. Anthia and Heather made sure that we were pampered all day, our family and friends enjoyed every second, and our wedding was a dream come true for us. They truly know what they are doing and it shows in every detail. Thank you for making our wedding unforgettable!

My husband and I were married here in May of 2017. I cannot begin to rave enough about this venue and the staff. Anthia and Heather were so helpful throughout the entire wedding planning process, answering any question regardless of importance, and made our wedding day vision come true. The Lake House Inn is a stunning property, and the bridal party guests staying there with us absolutely loved their rooms. Most of them said they felt like they were on vacation. The boathouse ballroom is just as beautiful, requiring minimal decoration to achieve an elegant wedding look. The day of our wedding was perfect. Our trolley, bringing the majority of our guests, was late by 30 minutes. We were so worried about being off schedule, but Anthia and Heather made sure that everything went off without a hitch. They got us back on track working with our other vendors without any issue. The food is absolutely incredible - we got so many compliments on how delicious it was and about how it was actually HOT (apparently wedding food is typically luke-warm). They have an innkeeper on-site for guests staying overnight and she was fantastic. She was so helpful, kind, and considerate to make sure everything went smoothly. All in all, I would recommend this vendor very highly.

Our wedding at the Lake House Inn was truly unforgettable. We wanted a small wedding for 75 guests and were looking for a venue that would work for our concept of a weekend of fun with our closest family and friends. We didn't want a typical venue feel and didn't want the night to simply end at 10pm. The Lake House was the first and only venue we looked at because we knew right away it was exactly what we were looking for! Because of our intimate sized group we went with a winter date, which certainly had me hesitant, but with 70+ degree weather in February we were able to get married outside! However, their indoor ceremony plan is nothing short of amazing also! Throughout the stressful process of planning a wedding I continually said that I hoped it was all worth it. I can say without a doubt due to how beautiful our day was, how all encompassing the venue was and the endless compliments we've received from guests about the Lake House - it was completely worth it! Everyone kept saying they'd never experienced a wedding like ours !I have and will certainly continue to reccomend the Lake House Inn!!

AMAZING! We cannot say enough great things about The Lake House Inn. We had our ceremony and reception here and chose Friday night so we could get Thursday included. We had a blast! With the 14 rooms all of our bridal party and my parents were able to stay both nights and enjoy the fire pit :) The staff is amazing!! Anthia was my wedding planner and Heather was her assistant. They were both easy to reach and there for me the entire night. When my feet hurt.. they ran to get my flip flops. When I was dying for a water.. they had it in my hand within 1 minute. I am a very organized and independent person so I wasn't expecting any of this but it truly helped and made me have a stress free relaxed wedding. The grounds keeper is hilarious and the absolute best!! Anything we could have ever needed she was there to help. We did not use their caterer for our rehearsal dinner but they allowed us to have food brought and prepared which was extremely nice of them! We had a blast I truly cannot thank everyone enough or talk and more highly enough of their venue!! I just wish one of my friends would get married there so I could enjoy the gorgeous venue without being the bride :)

An insanely pretty and all-inclusive venue; the term \"princess wedding\" may get overused in the industry, but in the case of the Lake House Inn, it's completely applicable. The LHI was the first venue we visited, and we pretty much could have stopped looking then and there (we continued looking, but no other site came close to comparing). Elegant, great location, wonderful in-house catering, and really excellent flexibility. Anthia and Melissa took incredible care of us, and our guests had nothing but compliments. My husband and I (and our nearest and dearest) were taken care of every step of the way with sincere attention, industrious efforts, and smiles.Additionally, our wedding took place on a cool and damp autumn day, and it wasn't clear until a couple hours before hand that we'd be able to have the ceremony outside (something we'd been worried about); major kudos to the entire outdoor staff, plus LHI owner Glenn, who bent over backwards to make sure that we could have the ceremony outside, tackling the wet chairs with a mountain of towels, a leaf blower, and incredible good spirits.Only two cons about the whole process worth mentioning-- (1) it's an expensive venue (but you absolutely get your money's worth); and (2) they're busy year-round, so responses don't always happen quickly (understandably, because they're helping a lot of couples throughout the year)The incredible staff ensured we had a beautiful day from start to finish; they know their craft, they're generous and accommodating, and they work hard. We are overjoyed to have had our wedding at the Lake House Inn and are proud to give them a heartfelt recommendation.

We cannot thank Anthia, the Lake House Inn staff, and Jeffery Miller Catering, enough for going above and beyond to ensure that our special day was beyond our wildest dreams. I truly felt like a princess and my husband and I had the best day of our lives! The pictures are gorgeous, but The Lake House Inn is even more spectacular in person! Even in February, when we visited the Lake House Inn during an open house, the view was breathtakingly beautiful. This was the first and last venue we visited as we quickly realized that this was “the one.” Upon meeting Anthia and Glenn we came to love the Lake House even more. Anthia worked with us every step of the way and ensured that everything was coordinated perfectly. The view was breathtaking, the food was excellent, and the staff was amazing! The rooms onsite were very clean and spacious and we loved that we could spend time with the overnight guests at the fire pit after the wedding. We were so sad to leave that beautiful view! We could not have envisioned having our special day anywhere else. Our friends and family enjoyed themselves so much and cannot stop raving about The Lake House Inn and how beautiful the wedding was and how much fun they had! We love The Lake House Inn and would highly recommend this amazing venue to anyone looking for a venue with a spectacular view, excellent food, and a wonderful staff!

We attended a wedding here this past weekend, October 29th. The wedding itself was beautiful. The lake front setting was beyond romantic, so if you're a bride and will be staying in the bridal suite, go for it! As a guest, this place stinks! We were put in the \"new wing\" which didn't even seem finished. There was no tv or ihome dock like the website states, but that you can live without. What is important in a room is that the door locks and you have running water. We had issues with both. Not to mention there aren't even reading lamps, only the bright overhead lights. If you're lucky enough to get a somewhat well appointed room in the \"old wing\" you should be ok for a night or two. In the new wing, I was surprised we didn't have dorm style bathrooms men's and women's, in the hallway. If you're attending a wedding here, do yourself a favor and either ensure you're staying in an \"old wing\" room with amenities other than a basic bathroom and a bed, or stay somewhere else!A

I got married in September 2016 and it was truly the most perfect day! I didn’t have to stress out, because Heather was running a tight ship. All of the staff at the Inn was great. The entire planning process was easy and they were able to execute everything I imagined. Everyone went above and beyond. I couldn’t have asked for anything better. Our families are still gushing over the amazing time they had. It was perfect to have an entire weekend and spend it with everyone I love while celebrating our love.

I could not be any happier with my choice to get married at The Lake House Inn. The entire planning process was so smooth: Anthia was there to answer all of my questions and help me think through every detail. The actual wedding day was just like a fairy tale. Everything went so smoothly, the venue was beautiful, and the food was unique and spectacular. If there was a question or minor hiccup, Anthia worked with my wedding planner and bridal party to solve the issue. I had so many friends and family tell me that the venue was incredible and it was the best wedding they have ever been to! You cannot go wrong choosing the Lake House Inn as your wedding venue. It truly was the perfect day.

I could not have imagined the day going any better. Throughout the entire process Anthia and the team made everything so easy. The getting ready process and bridal suite was absolutely beautiful. Everything went so smoothly and I have not stopped hearing rave reviews about the venue, service, and food. It was a perfect day and the venue lent for amazing views, photos, and atmosphere. My other vendors also commented about how great they were treated, which I feel is a great show of character and attention to detail from the staff. Could not have done it without everyone there! We could not be more happy that we chose The Lake House Inn for our wedding venue! It was absolutely flawless. The venue itself is gorgeous – everyone loved it and our photos are amazing! However, one of the best things about having our reception at LHI was how smoothly everything went. I’ve received so many compliments from guests on how well-organized the venue was. People were complimenting me, but I had to let them in on the secret that it was all LHI! Anthia and her team thought of EVERYTHING and made sure it was all taken care of. Being a very organized person, it was hard not to stress leading up to the big day, but I truly did get to enjoy every moment of my cocktail hour and reception. Anthia even made sure that my husband and I were able to try and enjoy the food and drinks, too (the food and drinks were PHENOMENAL by the way). Anthia, LHI, Jeffrey Miller Catering, and the whole staff exceeded our expectations. If you can afford the price tag, I highly recommend LHI – you will love it, and you will get what you pay for!

Our friends were married at the LHI in late spring/early summer 2016. What an experience! If we could get married all over again we would do it here because they have literally thought of everything! Upon our arrival we were greeted by event coordinators Anthia and Heather, and the owner Glen, who all immediately made us feel welcomed. The venue itself it’s beautiful and has sweeping views of Lake Nockamixon from every angle of the property. The lakeside ceremony was picturesque, and we enjoyed cocktail hour on the terrace afterwards as the weather was perfect. The food was catered by Jeffrey Miller. From the appetizers to the entrée to desserts, the food was abundant, creative and absolutely delicious!! The corned beef, sushi, and gelato were all out of this world! I have a food allergy, and the staff were polite, responsive, and accommodating to my needs. Anthia and Heather ran the evening like a well-oiled machine, and were attentive to the bride & groom, and their families every step of the way. They really went above and beyond to make everything special for them and their guests. We consider ourselves to be frequent wedding-goers, so it’s hard not to compare past events. Jeffrey Miller’s food is all about quality and presentation, and the staff were top notch executing the event flawlessly. Thank you for a memorable night!

We just had our wedding in mid-April. It's been three months since that magical day and every single day we still have people thanking my husband and I for the amazing experience. To have people continually tell us that this was seriously THE BEST wedding that they have ever had the pleasure of attending warms my heart each time I hear it. I would like to especially thank Anthia and Heather for supporting my husband and I through this entire process. From the open house through our special day, they were responsive and helped us navigate the planning process. They provided the most amazing recommendations for our caterer - Jeffrey A Miller (JAM) Caterer, our florist - Buttercup (a division of JAM Catering), and our photographer Paul at Unique Concepts Studio (engagement photos and the wedding). They helped bring my husband's and my wedding vision to life. It was more beautiful than we ever could have imagined. I truly couldn't have done this without them (nor would I have wanted to). We were fortunate enough to be the first ones to stay in the new wing of rooms at the Inn. It was so fantastic to have a venue where our closest family and friends could close out the most magical day of our lives together around the gorgeous fire pit! Their recent updates to the reception area, fire pit, as well as the new addition of rooms at the inn itself continue to contribute to the ever growing beauty of this venue. Our food was flawless, our flowers were spectacular (my mother is the president of a division of The Garden Club and both her and her friends were blown away at the quality and expertise of the floral arrangements for the bouquets and the decorations), the service was unparalleled, our photographer is a true artist, and we are still mesmerized at how all of these details came together so flawlessly. Spectacular Venue!!The Lake House Inn is absolutely spectacular. My husband and I were married there in late May 2016. You will not be disappointed in any way if you choose to have your Wedding here. The setting is gorgous and our guests are still raving about how unbelievably beautiful everything was. We were fortunate to have a beautiful sunny day and it showcased The LHI perfectly. We were all treated like family and every aspect was taken care of without us having to think about anything. It was a seamless operation and that made the day completely stress free. There were no \"bridezilla\" moments needed because everything was perfectly timed and every detail was taken care of. The guest rooms are 5-Star hotel quality and absolutely gorgeous. We chose to have the wedding on a Friday so we could take advantage of staying at the Inn both Thursday and Friday night and that was the absolute best way to do it. We were able to hang out by the fire pit and on the back patio all night on Thursday with the whole Wedding Party and the same after the Wedding. We opted for the Afterparty Speakeasy and ate, drank and had a blast into the early morning. Everyone, including my husband and I, felt like we were on an amazing weekend getaway. From the moment we got there to the very end, everything went so smooth and we were able to just sit back and enjoy everything. JAM catering was phenomenal. The food was so delicious, fresh and plentiful. Waitstaff, Bartenders, and everyone who worked our wedding event were incredibly pleasant and gracious. We also utilized Buttercup (a JAM floral division) for our flowers. They were outstanding and the flowers and decor were beyond my expectations. The LHI Team...Glenn, Anthia and especially Heather (our \"Day Of\" Planner) were so wonderful to work with. They are responsive and thorough. The attention to detail and willingness to work with my Husband and I to make the weekend everything we wanted it to be was just unbelievable. They REALLY know what they are doing and are truly experts. It is an unforgettable venue and a truly unique, one of a kind experience to have your Wedding there. 100% Recommended. 5+ Stars.

We recently had our wedding at The Lake House Inn this past June and it was the most incredible time of our lives! We chose to have the wedding on a Friday so we could take advantage of staying at the Inn both Thursday and Friday night and that was the absolute best way to do it. We were able to have our rehearsal dinner there Thursday night which was beautiful overlooking the lake and hung out by the fire pit and on the back patio all night with the whole bridal party. Everyone including my husband and I felt like we were on a weekend getaway and everyone was completely relaxed and ready for a good time by the time the ceremony and reception came around! From the moment we got there to the very end, everything went so smooth and we were able to just sit back and enjoy everything. Anthia, our wedding coordinator, was on top of everything and made sure we were able to enjoy every moment of our perfect day and taste all of Jeffery Miller's (The Lake House Inn's in house caterer) incredible food- honestly the best wedding food you will ever taste. So unique, flavorful, and fresh. Not to mention the best wedding cake you could possibly imagine- people actually wanted seconds it was so moist and delicious. Glen, the owner, is such a great laid back guy who really understands the right ingredients for creating the most incredible back drop for an out of this world wedding. We honestly felt like The Lake House Inn was our home for those few days and were taken care of like family by Anthia, Glen and Heather. If you're looking for a personal-home-like feel wedding overlooking one of the most gorgeous views around with the most welcoming staff and beautiful accommodations, The Lake House Inn is the place to go! We had our wedding at the Lake House Inn on June 25th and cannot say enough nice things about our experience. From the minute we called to set up an appointment we were treated like royalty. Glenn, Anthia and Heather were all so accommodating and easy to work with. Our wedding was beautiful and stress free from start to finish. Anthia was our planner, Heather the assistant planner and Glenn sat at the helm as the owner of the estate. No request went unanswered and with everything else going on we did have a sick relative come who they treated with kid gloves.The inn, especially the new wing, is so chic and lovely and the boathouse ballroom (when we signed it looked like a tent) was the perfect place to celebrate with our guests.Our caterer Jeffrey Miller, who is exclusive to the site, was there to chef our party. Our guests are still raving about the food. If you want an outrageous cocktail hour go with the Black Swan menu - you will not be disappointed.There was an afterparty at their firepit with smores and a hot dog roast and it was the best way to end our evening! In the morning there was a very nice continental breakfast for the overnight guests and we had a tray delivered to our room by the housekeeper, Marina, who is so sweet.All in all, I would recommend this site to anyone who wants a fairy tale wedding with all the trimmings where you are truly treated like a prince and princess for the day!

This place is unbelievable. From the minute I saw it on my friend's facebook photos, I knew I had to see it. My mom and I made a visit to an open house. Everyone was so nice and took as much time as we needed to answer questions. I even emailed several times after our visit with some additional questions. All of my emails were answered promptly. I can't wait to make this the place I say I do.

Highly dissapointed. I have attempted to contact this location about planning my wedding for 200 plus people next year. However, still no response. I have read this from other reviews and this is such a turn off from this venue. I guess they do not want my 30,000$ and I will take it elsewhere. Everywhere else that I have contacted has gotten back to me within a week. This is foresight of what wedding requests would turn into (no response, or aquescence) so I will not be choosing this venue. Maybe new management or planners should be considered. This venue is loosing a lot of $$! Such a shame because it is everything I was looking for.

I would have loved to have my wedding here but couldn't get anyone to contact me to set up a tour. \r\rI submitted an inquiry via the website and Anthia emailed me with some information and asked when I'd like to come look at the place. Four unanswered emails and two weeks later I decided to look elsewhere. I guess they didn't want my business.

The Lake House Inn is the best wedding venue in Bucks County! I had the pleasure of signing two contracts during my planning process. In September 2014, I signed the first one with hotel du village in new hope. Three weeks before my wedding I found out that the venue would not be complete in time. In a scramble I called every venue in Bucks County in hopes that someone would have our September 11, 2015 date. I connected with Anthia, and she was my angel!!! I don't know what I would have done without her. In less than two weeks, Anthia took control of the situation and made sure that my now husband and I had the best day of our lives. \rThe entire staff at the Lake House is amazing. They made me feel that they were truly happy to see us happy, and that meant everything to us. Both the owner of the Lake House and the bar manager came up to us and introduced themselves before the wedding which was a small gesture, but it made us feel special. The food was amazing. We didn't have the opportunity to have a tasting with Jeffrey Miller Catering as time was not on our side, but they did not disappoint!! I have been to many weddings, and I am not just saying this but we had thee BEST food I've ever had at a wedding. They even packed us a doggy bag the next day :) Every detail that I discussed with Anthia was executed flawlessly. I could go on and on about how amazing our wedding was. Anyways, I truly believe everything happens for a reason. If I could do it all over with the choice of Hotel du Village and the Lake House Inn, I would 100% choose the Lake House. BEST VENUE IN BUCKS COUNTY!!

Everything on our wedding day could not have gone any smoother! All of the staff at the Lake House Inn were on point and very professional. The wedding planner was on her A-game and told me where I needed to be to at each moment. I didn't have to worry about a thing! The reception tent was decorated exactly as I had envisioned and all of our guests continue to tell how great the food was and what an amazing time they had. Many have said its the best wedding they have ever been to!!

Wow! Everything from start to finish with the wedding was so amazing. Anthia was such a pleasure to work with and was able to keep all of our chaos in order. The catering was delicious. People wont stop talking about our wedding and how beautiful the place was. In addition to its beauty, the staff was great. Glenn, the owner, and his wife helped us out when our bus left without taking people back to the hotel and drove people who were left stranded. They truly went above and beyond for everything. it was an unforgettable day and an unforgettable venue.

I experienced my very own Fairytale Wedding at the Lake House Inn.\r\rFrom the moment I saw the venue with my own eyes (the online pictures are gorgeous but do not do it justice), I knew this was where I wanted to be married. \r\rAs the Bride, I had very high expectations. Close enough to drive from NYC, NJ, and PA. Something unexpected, modern and subtly dramatic, intimate but with plenty of room for guests to drink and dance, romantic and FUN. Etc.\r\rThe Lake House Inn delivered on all of that and more. My guests were blown away - most coming from NYC (where my husband and I reside on the UES) - and just loved the 'getaway' experience. \r\rStarting with the Inn - the interior is a neutral palette that really lets the Bride dictate the theme. I chose all white/cream with pops of black and copper. I really encourage you to let Nature do the choosing...depending on the season, the Lake House will present you something unique and extraordinary. We had a wonderful fall day - the sky was a bright blue with autumn colored foliage. The white looked amazing!\r\rWe rented the Inn for the night. You must do this! Bedrooms are really nice and it's so convenient.\r\rThe Inn has a fabulous, large cocktail space that consists of two rooms, nicely sized bar, and piano. There is also a cellar with the option to do a wine tasting or beer tasting (super fun). Directly down the outside steps is the ceremony garden. Our ceremony was the most surreal and fantastic moment of our joint lives. While it is an extra cost - either rent lanterns/other outdoor decor options for the processional path. We brought in a considerable amount of extra flowers and had a large chuppah. It framed the space beautifully.\r\rThe ballroom is out of control. The draped ceiling and chandelier are so chic and refined. You can absolutely make this a black tie event if you want to.\r\rThere is plenty of room for a band. We used EBE entertainment - London Bridge. No dance floor breaks- everyone danced until they turned the lights on. Check out EBE! There were 14 players and they do a range of music including Top 40. We had just the right amount of dance floor room. Note we had 180 guests...I don't feel more than 200 would fit comfortably with a band.\r\rWe paid for extra help at the reception - both for the bar and dinner serving. It is worth it. You don't want your guests waiting in line at the bar when you have just a few hours to enjoy. We also added 1.5 hours onto our party. You only get a total of 5 hours to work with from ceremony to cocktail to reception. A bit short.\r\rEveryone was extremely pleased with the service as were we. Jeffrey Miller Catering has awesome, awesome food. We did not love the tasting, but they hit it out of the park for the actual night.\r\rAt the end of the party, they serve pizza, beer, and offer an outdoor fire pit with s'mores. So original and a really special way to end the party with your best friends and family.\r\rOverall the wedding coordinator service was good. It is a very expensive venue so I also had very high expectations. At the end of the day, they know what is going to work and what probably will not. It's hard to let go of that power but you will have to go with their flow. My day turned out perfect - the hours flowed together like a symphony so I can only say trust the experts.\r\rI wish I could do it all over again- and it would definitely be at the LHI :). \r\r

Let me first start off by saying my wedding was everything I ever could've dreamed off -- thanks to my mom and my florist. The Lake House Inn is a spectacular venue with amazing views. Glen, the owner, is wonderful as is Heather, who unfortunately couldn't be there the day of the wedding. The food catered by Jeffrey a. miller is delicious - every one of our guests made sure to tell us! The Lake House has a beautiful bridal suite where your bridal party can get ready as well as a great groomsmen lounge and a fabulous rustic wine cellar. However, I will say that for such a beautiful venue, the Lake House leaves much to be desired.\r\rAnthia who was our designated wedding coordinator was very unresponsive. It took multiple calls and emails to get in touch with her every time we had a question.Every request we had was made into a big deal because its not \"how they usually do it\". Anthia cares more about booking the next wedding than making sure yours goes as planned. We were greeted first thing in the morning by being told (not asked) that my cocktail hour would be inside because it was drizzling - we had to beg them to put tables outside. And when the tables were put out (that we had to special order because they don't have high top tables), they didn't have the linens we paid extra for on them. The bridal party wasn't attended to - we had to hunt people down for glasses for drinks etc. At the cocktail hour, we specifically talked about not using their wooden decorations - assured that they wouldn't be put out the day of the wedding, I walk in and that was the first thing I saw. The upgraded beverage package was supposed to be served and wasn't - my mother had to deal with that during our reception when she should have been enjoying herself. The baskets we made for the bathrooms were not put out.\r\rLittle things make a big difference and when you are paying as much as you do at the lake house, I would expect way more from the staff.

The Lake House was exactly what we were looking for. We wanted an elegant lakefront wedding and get exactly that. The venue is gorgeous and the service was excellent. Heather answered all of our questions and kept everything running smoothly at the rehearsal and on the day of the wedding. \r\rAll of guests raved about the beauty of the venue and the amazing food. We got so many compliments on the whole day. We stayed at the Inn that night (which I highly recommend), so after the guests left they set us up with a bonfire, complete with pizza, marshmallows, and beer! It was the perfect way to end an amazing day.

We were SOOO thrilled with every aspect of the venue and the staff. The setting is gorgous and our guests are still gushing about how beautiful it was. We were treated like royalty and every aspect of the day and evening were taken care of without us having to think about anything. It was a seamless operation and made the day totally stress free. And of course the Inn, itself, if spectacular, the guest rooms were awesome and the reception area was gorgeous. All windows looking out onto the lake and plenty of room for our guests to have a wonderful time and the food was delicious. Everyone left there full and happy! We can't say enough wonderful things about the owner and our coordinator Anthea!

Picking a venue was the hardest decision my husband and I had during the planning process. We knew we wanted a venue that would fit all our criteria: A place for an outdoor ceremony (but a great indoor option if the weather didn't cooperate), a reception with a big dance floor, and a destination-wedding feel without the hassle of traveling. These may seem relatively easy to find in one space but it wasnt. We must have looked at 10-15 venues and were becoming increasingly frustrated when for example a venue had a beautiful outdoor setting for the ceremony but the space used as the rain option held only 50 people. We were about ready to give up when I went on The Knot and looked at The Lake House Inn again. Honestly, I put off looking there because the pictures online do not do the venue justice! \rAs soon as we walked into The LHI we fell in love. Its spacious and modern, has a beautiful outdoor ceremony site overlooking Lake Nockamixon, and a HUGE ballroom with floor to celling windows which could be transformed for an indoor ceremony. Also, our wedding coordinator, Anthia was fabulous. If you want your days leading up to the wedding to be as stress-free as the day then there is no other choice. Anthia was always available for any questions I had, and believe me I had a lot through the process. You won't find a place that allows you to have the perfect ceremony and reception site all in one. Oh and to top it all off you and your bridal party can stay at the Inn. I 100% would recommend The Lake House-it is absolute perfection!

I only looked at one venue for my wedding and it was the Lake House Inn. I fell in love immediately. It is gorgeous with the lake as a backdrop. The bridal suite is wonderful and it is great to have the 9 other rooms for the bridal party/parents to stay in the night of the wedding. The bridal party was also given champagne, cheese, fruit and crackers while getting dressed which was a nice touch. Also at the end of the night, they provided champagne and put flowers on the bed for my husband and I. The groom and groomsmen had a \"man cave\" to get ready in. The room has big screen tvs, a pool table, leather couches and they were provided beer and pretzels. Anthia and her team are wonderful and everything went smoothly. Throughout the entire process, Anthia was very responsive to all of my emails and questions which I greatly appreciated. The Lake House Inn is pricey but you get what you pay for. The ceremony set-up is beautiful, there is the whole of the downstairs of the LHI for the cocktail hour including outside. They have a piano and we hired someone to play the piano. We also had a wine tasting during the cocktail hour in the wine cellar which was a hit! The reception hall is gorgeous with plenty of room. One wall is a fountain and the other is glass doors opening up to the lake. It makes every picture gorgeous. Guests were so impressed by the venue. After all of that, there is a fire pit for the after party where they serve pizza and beer. And I haven't even gotten to the food! Jeffrey Miller Catering is AMAZING. The food at both the tasting and at the wedding was spectacular. It is different than what you get at every other wedding and the guests were very impressed. If you want a wedding that is close to home but a little different, the Lake House Inn is the perfect place. I highly recommend it. Thank you to Anthia, her team and the Jeffrey Miller team!

It's been a week since the wedding of our daughter and son in law, and we can't stop thinking about the amazing event it was for our daughter and son Inlaw, and also for our family, the groom's family, and all our friends.\r Anthea and staff were helpful and supportive every step of the way. We knew what was expected of us, and when and guidance was given when it was needed. The Lake House Inn supported the spirit of the type of reception our daughter was hoping for, and it surely delivered!!\r Our ceremony was at our home church and then we all traveled to the Inn for the reception. It was a gorgeous setting for the ceremony, but a church wedding was part of our daughter's dream. The Inn was waiting to greet all our guests ,,,, the facilities over the top, and the weather cooperating completely, to create a setting we could not have found anywhere else. The facilities are beyond compare, and the natural beauty of the setting makes for a location where matrimonial dreams come true.\r Our guests continue to rave over their evening with us as one they won't soon forget. We are grateful to the amazing staff for helping us create a celebration that was meaningful, beautiful, welcoming and warm.\r Thank you to the Lake House Inn for a wedding experience that we will long remember and cherish.
