Mara, the Lenox Event Coordinator, is my favorite person of 2023. She made our wedding absolutely spectacular. I knew we could trust her from our first meeting. We recently had our wedding at the Lenox on 11/11/2023 and had the most amazing experience. All the staff at the Lenox went out of their way to make our entire wedding weekend magical. A special shout out to Taylor, the Senior Catering Sales Manager for making our wedding vision come true. The Lenox made planning a wedding easy at a price point that fit right into our budget. The food was amazing!!! The day of the wedding Taylor and the Lenox team made a stress less day for both the groom and I. We were able to enjoy our family and friends while they made it all happen!

I honestly could write a book on how wonderful and impressive the staff at the Lenox are. They truly made us feel like royalty with each moment, from food tasting to preparation, to day of and even after the wedding! Alison was our wedding coordinator and she was attentive, wonderful, detail oriented, a problem solver, and just truly went above and beyond to help us formulate our day. Ex. We got robbed 6k+ dollars 2 weeks before the wedding, in the middle of a cross country move, starting new jobs/getting a new place, had our socials/credit hijacked…and she helped us figure it all out; our only other option would have been to cancel the wedding last minute. The food was top notch and every single person we came in contact with made us feel special. Genuinely so kind and above and beyond that I had guests tell me they formed lifelong friends haha. The package they offer for weddings is unmatched. I know this, because I made an excel sheet of every all-inclusive vendor in the area that I spoke to directly. You can’t beat the price for what you’re getting. We have immense gratitude for all involved on our day and we plan to visit each year for our anniversary! When everyone had to checkout and leave, there was real sadness but also so much joy.

We had our wedding at The Lenox in November of 2022 and it was a great experience! Taylor walked us through everything and anticipated needs I didn’t even know we had! Taylor and her team worked our personal details (and worked with our vendors) into the set up of both the ceremony and reception flawlessly and without us having to be involved. It still baffles me, especially after talking to other brides, how stress-free my day was due to such a fantastic team! The staff made sure we ate at the reception and even put food and cake in our room for afterward. We also had our rehearsal dinner, welcome party, and after party in house and each event was raved about by our guests. I cannot recommend The Lenox enough to prospective couples! Taylor and her team took care of everything and made the experience stress-free, easy, and enjoyable. The venue is beautiful and our rooftop photos with the city skyline are our absolute favorites!

We held our wedding at The Lenox Hotel and it was the best. Decision. Ever.From the initial tour of the venue, Mara Payne was beyond incredible to work with. It was clear from the beginning that she is a pro at making the planning process a breeze, and making sure every opinion and dream from the couple is recognized. From customizing the design of our menu cards to match our invitations, to ensuring every single guest with a food allergy was taken care of, Mara went above and beyond to make sure everything was taken care of and no detail was forgotten.Having so many things included through The Lenox was a huge perk and made the planning process so much easier. The Lenox Hotel's food is amazing- and we loved our private tasting picking everything out! We loved how easy it was to customize menu offerings to our liking and add-on additional entree options. Table linens (offered in a million colors) and chairs, menu cards, table numbers, the hotel suite for the night of the wedding, the wedding cake, even a wonderful piano player for cocktail hour are all included in the wedding package. Dessert Works, the wedding cake provider, was absolutely amazing to work with (and the cake was delicious!) It was an easy process to customize the look and flavors of the cake. We also had Ben & Jerry's bring in a sundae station which was so much fun.Mara helped us feel so at ease during planning that we ended up also hosting our welcome party downstairs at City Table the night before- another incredibly seamless event with great food and drinks! The Dome Room is a beautiful space. It did rain the day of our wedding which made photo locations a bit tricky, as the surrounding area is largely uncovered. However, we made it work in large part thanks to the recommendations from Mara on photo locations.Apart from the logistics/planning which were all seamless- the location in Boston, the rooms, the food and drinks, and quality of service are unmatched. City All our friends and family that stayed at The Lenox raved about their experience staying here. We feel like we struck gold finding the Lenox and hosting our wedding here- and advise any couples-to-be in Boston to choose it for their special day- you truly won't regret it!

The Lenox provided the best wedding we could have imagined.Neither of us live in Boston. Planning a wedding remotely makes it harder, right? Not when you choose the exceptional team at the Lenox. Thank god it surfaced in our research. It was like finding a pure diamond in a stack of shiny jewels. Given the shockingly reasonable price, food selection, venue photos, wedding package perks, and ideal location, it didn't take long for us to choose them. One of the best decisions we ever made.Alison was our wedding coordinator. She is a rock star who deserves to be paid like one. Her crazy workload had no effect on the attention to detail or level of care she gave us.It was easy to customize our plans. Alison let us adjust the menu to reduce costs while still providing great food options. She accommodated every special feature we requested, even making a room available for a guest to use for breast-milk pumping during the wedding festivities!Our first in-person look at the Lenox was the menu tasting. They instantly made us feel special, giving us a private room with our names on a gold plaque. The setup was classy and the food was delicious, down to the vegan risotto made special for my mother-in-law. And Alison displayed professionalism, warmth, and precision.The wedding weekend was simply incredible. Alison asked us to list VIPs staying at the hotel. (We chose our parents.) Upon arrival, we found they were upgraded to corner rooms! And they upgraded our room for all the nights as well!Staying at the Lenox is like getting your own urban castle for the weekend. There are comfy beds with welcome bags of chocolate truffles, bathrobes and slippers in the closet, awesome window views of Back Bay, and the stately lobby that we used liberally. It was also easy to store all the wedding decor that we brought. They even took flowers we brought back from our rehearsal dinner, stored them in the banquet fridge, and incorporated them into the reception! The service is high-touch. They even gifted teddy bears to my niece and nephew!Alison was amazing. From the rehearsal to our packed day-of schedule, she kept things on time. On the wedding night, she found time to leave a congratulatory note in our room, with a picture she took of us that same night! She and the staff made us feel at home.The Lenox has great facilities. The ceremony and reception are in the Dome Room. It's a beautiful setting, and dancing under the dome is a magical experience. We also had the elegant wood-paneled Board Room to get ready in. And the cherry on top: The newlyweds get the exclusive privilege of going to the rooftop (under the iconic Lenox sign) for photos. It has a sweeping view of Boston.As for the food: It's fantastic. We had chicken and short rib options for the carnivores, both of which were hits. The biggest star was the wild mushroom ravioli, one of the best raviolis we've ever tasted. Whether vegetarian or not, we highly recommend. Perhaps the biggest food perk is that when you book a Lenox wedding, the wedding cake comes included - provided by Dessert Works, a local bakery that gets its own 5-star review from us.The verdict is in: The Lenox nailed it. We had a world-class experience. This is a premium venue with premium service, and for weddings they clearly have the premium playbook.

Alison was wonderful to work with, and the Lenox package was exactly what we wanted. Alison was so accommodating with every idea that we had and anything we needed. She helped us have the celebration we were dreaming of. We wanted something unique, but didn’t want to put everything together from scratch, and that is exactly what we were able to get with the Lenox. All of our guests were impressed with the service and spaces. I stayed in the bridal suite the night before our wedding, and my girls and I had so much fun getting ready there in the morning. I highly recommend that! The entire team at the Lenox made us feel so special on our wedding weekend. Thank you! We also loved that they were very upfront with no hidden fees or anything. Highly recommend!

Alison was wonderful to work with, and the Lenox package was exactly what we wanted. Alison was so accommodating with every idea that we had and anything we needed. She helped us have the celebration we were dreaming of. We wanted something unique, but didn’t want to put everything together from scratch, and that is exactly what we were able to get with the Lenox. All of our guests were impressed with the service and spaces. I stayed in the bridal suite the night before our wedding, and my girls and I had so much fun getting ready there in the morning. I highly recommend that! The entire team at the Lenox made us feel so special on our wedding weekend. Thank you! We also loved that they were very upfront with no hidden fees or anything. The best day ever!! We couldn't have been happier with our wedding day at the Lenox. The venue is amazing, such a beautiful and historic hotel but very well maintained. All of our guests loved it and still are talking about how great the food was! We also chose the Lenox because of the up front and inclusive pricing- there is so much included in the wedding package which made the planning stress free. Our wedding coordinator Mara was AMAZING! She thought of everything, was always very helpful and responsive, and truly made sure we had the absolute best day ever. She did not miss a beat, and was so fantastic to work with!

This venue was beyond perfect. So much was coordinated by the venue so we didn’t have to rent tables, chairs, or napkins. Taylor was unbelievably helpful and organized. She always responded promptly and was very good at keeping us on track. The day if she was so helpful in making sure we had everything we needed and set up everything exactly as I had imagined it. She was also very helpful working directly with the vendors on some technical things that I didn’t need to be involved in. Taylor really did it all. She was truly amazing and it was a huge pleasure to work with her. I would recommend this venue to everyone. They are so accommodating and the food was absolutely amazing! Guests said it was some of the best wedding food they have ever had. All around this was the best experience.

I'm truly not sure I will even be able to find the words to adequately describe how happy we are to have chosen The Lenox for our wedding, but I'm going to try, ha! From our very first visit to tour the space, we were welcomed with smiles and kindness by team and felt right at home! As soon as I left from my first tour of the space in October 2019, we booked The Lenox as our venue!Mara was our point of contact the entire way through, and she honestly feels like a friend at this point — that's how truly incredible it's been to work with her. Regardless of how silly they may have been, she answered every question and alleviated any concerns we had during the planning process. Cue the COVID-19 pandemic, where my fiancé and I were separated by 3,000 miles (he was in London while I was in Boston), and he was quite literally banned from entering the USA. We knew our May 2020 wedding wouldn't be able to happen, and worked to come up with a Plan B. Mara and The Lenox team were nothing but understanding, accommodating, and kind, and offered comfort to us on some of our saddest, heartbreaking days. They were so understanding in fact, that they allowed us to postpone our wedding FOUR times in order to find a date where my fiancé and I were in the same country at the same time! I'm truly not sure I will even be able to find the words to adequately describe how happy we are to have chosen The Lenox for our wedding, but I'm going to try, ha! From our very first visit to tour the space, we were welcomed with smiles and kindness by team and felt right at home! As soon as I left from my first tour of the space in October 2019, we booked The Lenox as our venue!Mara was our point of contact the entire way through, and she honestly feels like a friend at this point — that's how truly incredible it's been to work with her. Regardless of how silly they may have been, she answered every question and alleviated any concerns we had during the planning process. Cue the COVID-19 pandemic, where my fiancé and I were separated by 3,000 miles (he was in London while I was in Boston), and he was quite literally banned from entering the USA. We knew our May 2020 wedding wouldn't be able to happen, and worked to come up with a Plan B. Mara and The Lenox team were nothing but understanding, accommodating, and kind, and offered comfort to us on some of our saddest, heartbreaking days. They were so understanding in fact, that they allowed us to postpone our wedding FOUR times in order to find a date where my fiancé and I were in the same country at the same time! Our experience at the Lenox Hotel was wonderful. It all started at the tasting where our wedding planner, Taylor, and the Lenox staff went above and beyond to make the event truly special. From listening carefully to our requests to small details like seeing our name at the door entrance, it was a great experience. Fast forward to the wedding day - everything went smoothly. Taylor and her team took care of everything and checked in with the Bride and Groom to ensure that had what we needed. Taylor also thought 2 steps ahead and despite the wedding party being a bit delayed due to the Marathon Weekend, we stayed on track, readjusted our time clocks, and everything just worked with very little stress to the Bride and Groom. In addition, our guests gave us the most positive feedback after the event . The food was great! The staff was attentive and accommodating! We really can't say enough good things about our experience at the Lenox. If you are looking for a wedding venue in Boston, we highly recommend!

Stay away! Before I explain my experience, let me tell you I have never been compelled to write a single negative review on anything in my life. But given how bad of an experience this was, I want to warn any future couples before making a decision to host their event here.To begin, I went back and forth with Taylor via email for over 3 months planning this event. I very thoroughly went through all details and questions with her. After feeling like my wife and I did our due diligence and covered everything with her, the execution fell flat.1. After 3 months of going back and forth, I was looking forward to meeting Taylor. Not only did she not show, she didn’t make us aware she wouldn’t be there, no one greeted us (the to be bride and groom, hosts of the event) and she didn’t give us a point of contact. When there were issues, which you’ll read about below - we didn’t know who to talk to.2. When we did arrive - the playlist we sent wasn’t playing for our guests, there was a coat rack with 15 hangers when we had 62 guests in the dead of the winter. We received attitude when we asked for more hangers. They also had no idea about the playlist we sent over at all.3. MOST IMPORTANT - There was ONE server for 62 people. Never once told this would be the case. This poor server couldn’t get more than a quarter of the way into the room before her passed apps were gone and she had to go back to the kitchen for more. When she got back from the kitchen, she’d only be able to get to that same quarter of the room again until the food ran out. And the cycle continued. The way the room is laid out, there’s a bottle neck which meant three quarters of the room didn’t see any food for the first hour. People were starving and pissed. Quite embarrassing as the host. It wasn’t until I suggested she walk around behind the bar and bartender to the other side of the room that anyone on that side of the room was served.4. The event was planned from 7-10 as open bar. At 10:15pm when I saw people still ordering drinks I asked if it was now cash bar. They said they couldn’t switch over to cash bar without kicking everyone out first. At no point did they come talk to me about what the tab was at before 10 or discuss logistics about switching over, etc. just kept letting drinks get ordered on my tab. Then when I asked for the tab it took 15 minutes to get even an update or any sort of idea where it was at. During which they made a last call announcement and way more drinks were ordered on the tab. They then put the wrong amounts on my credit cards.5. After giving them this feedback, politely in an email, I was sent a short apology email and they offered to comp dessert which was a whopping 7% of the total bill for the night.

I can’t say enough about The Lenox! This venue worked great for our 100 person wedding. It is centrally located in downtown Boston, which is nice especially if you’ve got a lot of people traveling in for the wedding. There are tons of great photo opportunities. Comm Ave and the Public Library are a short walk away and the hotel itself is a beautiful space for pictures. Having City Table and Solas right downstairs is good for rehearsal dinner/brunch/after party… whatever you need!We loved how clear the pricing/packaging was and how much we got for our money. The cake is included and little details like chivari chairs and custom napkin colors are also included at The Lenox. Some other venues charge extra for the decor stuff. With the wedding, you also get a 1 night stay in a honeymoon suite on the same floor as the Dome Room where your reception (and in our case, ceremony) take place. This makes getting ready SO easy and helps the day run smoothly.The entire Lenox staff is amazing, especially Taylor the on-site coordinator. She’s responsive and professional and really knows her stuff when it comes to weddings. I highly recommend this venue!

Having our reception at the Lenox was the best decision we made for our wedding. Not only is it gorgeous and the food is great, but the service was unbelievable. I felt like Taylor was our partner in planning from start to finish and was just blown away with how patient, flexible, and detail-oriented she was. Our ceremony (separate venue) and trolley experiences were a little stressful, and I just felt so calm when I got to the reception because I knew they had everything handled. Also, my mother got unfortunately slightly injured off-property two days before the wedding and they took excellent care of her. She still mentions it weeks later.

In our case it was the Elopement package which allowed for us to have the small and intimate wedding of our dreams without paying a fortune.

Being a Fall 2020 couple, we knew that we would need postpone our large reception, but my fiance and I still wanted to keep our original wedding date and celebrate with our immediate families. After months of struggling to replan, we stumbled upon the Lenox's microwedding advertisement. Since our first call with Alison, we knew the Lenox was the way to go. She planned the entire ceremony and private dinner (with custom menu!) for us in just a few weeks. Alison made herself readily available and had wonderful suggestions. She was the point person for our vendors and families and truly served as Captain for the entire process. In the end, we didn't feel as though we had a \"Covid wedding\" - it became the wedding we truly wanted and had envisioned. Alison and all of Lenox staff made us feel so welcome and were always available for questions or just to check in. The health/sanitation adjustments the hotel has made are top notch, and we never felt concerned. Of course, the Lenox is a beautiful venue with amazing amenities and customizable options, but it is the staff that put everything over the top, and we are so grateful to them all.

We had our ceremony and reception at the Lenox Hotel in August 2019 and it was nothing short of a dream. From our first communication with Allison and Taylor we instantly felt calm and that we were in great hands. Having our wedding there was the best decision we could have made. The team accommodated all of our requests and were so thoughtful and compassionate during the entire process. From the congratulatory flower arrangement they sent to our house after we booked, to the snacks and card they provided for us in our room after our wedding, they thought of every detail and went above and beyond making our experience with them perfect. The day went off without a hitch and it is in great thanks to their amazing team. Thank you Taylor, Allison and staff for all of the hard work that you put inti our day, you made it look effortless and I did not feel one ounce of stress. You guys are the best!

We had our ceremony and reception at the Lenox Hotel in August 2019 and it was nothing short of a dream. From our first communication with Allison and Taylor we instantly felt calm and that we were in great hands. Having our wedding there was the best decision we could have made. The team accommodated all of our requests and were so thoughtful and compassionate during the entire process. From the congratulatory flower arrangement they sent to our house after we booked, to the snacks and card they provided for us in our room after our wedding, they thought of every detail and went above and beyond making our experience with them perfect. The day went off without a hitch and it is in great thanks to their amazing team. Thank you Taylor, Allison and staff for all of the hard work that you put inti our day, you made it look effortless and I did not feel one ounce of stress. You guys are the best!

My husband and I knew we wanted to get married at The Lenox as soon as we walked into the hotel. I cannot say enough how happy we were with everything. All of our guests haven't stopped raving about the food, the atmosphere, the exceptional service and the overall feeling you get being in the hotel. Our wedding coordinator Taylor Marshall was everything your dream of in a wedding coordinator. She was there every step of the way and made sure everything was taken care of the second you needed it. She and I had countless emails back and forth, and she was always timely and helped out with whatever we needed. Every time we came to visit before the wedding she made it feel like home. The day of the wedding she helped keep me calm and checked every detail over. The best man lost a button on his shirt and she was able to even have that fixed in time. The vendors they recommended were also exceptional. The hotel is also dog friendly, so we were able to bring our dog Teddy for the weekend too, which made it all more sweet. I would recommend this venue to anyone. The rooms are absolutely stunning, and the vintage modern feel staying there is exactly what we were looking for and wanting for our guests. The dome room was beautiful. We had our dream winter wedding at The Lenox, and wouldn't change a single thing.

Alison was our coordinator and was wonderful from beginning to end. We had our wedding reception at the Lenox on June 30, 2018. It was the best experience we could have imagined! Taylor Marshall and the entire team at the Lenox were absolutely exceptional! From the moment we met Taylor when we toured the Lenox as a possible venue, she was personable, professional, and extremely knowledgeable. We fell in love with the Lenox and were excited to work with Taylor. At no point during the wedding planning process did Taylor ever let us down. She answered all questions we had (email and over the phone) promptly and clearly. Taylor is poised and professional, and we felt so lucky to work with her throughout the wedding planning process. The day of our wedding was a dream come true! Every last detail was tended to with care. Taylor and the entire staff of the Lenox understand how important their wedding day is to a couple, and everyone truly went above and beyond to ensure the best wedding reception experience possible! Our guests are still commenting about how much they loved our wedding reception. From the front desk to the wait staff, everyone is pleasant and helpful. Alison Majka, who coordinates weddings at the Lenox, is a pleasure to work with. No matter how many emails I sent, her responses were prompt, thorough and positive. She was gracious and kind and it was thanks to her that we had such a beautiful reception. We are grateful we chose to have our wedding reception at The Lenox Hotel. The Dome Room is beautiful, as is the rest of the hotel. The staff at The Lenox was superb, and it was very easy working with Taylor Marshall, who helped us throughout the entire process down to every last detail. She answered so many of my questions via e-mail and was very helpful. The bartender made a special drink just for my mother in law for the wedding night, they upgraded the rooms for both sets of parents at no charge, they made special menu accommodations and even honored special pricing for us. They made it a really enjoyable experience, rather than stressful, and we wish we could experience the day all over again! Aside from the wonderful staff, the venue itself is stunning, and is the perfect place for an intimate wedding of 120 or less. Our 90 guests raved about the raw bar, passed hors d'oeuvres, the salad, and dinner meals. The food was amazing! They also have a lot of details taken care of for you, like table numbers, a card box, and they work with Dessert Works to create your cake (the cake was delicious, too)! We looked at many other venues in and around Boston, and none included so many details and touches like The Lenox did. We are excited to have this special gem of a spot to go back to each year to celebrate!

Aside from the wonderful staff, the venue itself is stunning, and is the perfect place for an intimate wedding of 120 or less. Our 90 guests raved about the raw bar, passed hors d'oeuvres, the salad, and dinner meals. The food was amazing! They also have a lot of details taken care of for you, like table numbers, a card box, and they work with Dessert Works to create your cake (the cake was delicious, too)! We looked at many other venues in and around Boston, and none included so many details and touches like The Lenox did. We are excited to have this special gem of a spot to go back to each year to celebrate!

She was so attentive and kind and took care of every detail and all of our guests were absolutely blown away, as were we. I honestly cannot possibly say enough good things about the Lenox Hotel. Every single interaction which we had at the hotel exceeded all of our expectations. From our very first visit to the morning after the wedding day every person at the Lenox was such a pleasure to work with and our guests were treated like royalty. We initially worked with Alison when looking at venues and she was so responsive, accommodating and a pleasure to work with. Taylor was our wedding coordinator and we absolutely loved her!! She went above and beyond to make sure everything went perfectly and made us feel so comfortable knowing that she had everything covered. I loved every minute of working with Taylor and cannot recommend her highly enough. The rest of the staff at the Lenox was just as amazing, from all of the doormen, to the valet and front desk staff to every member of the waitstaff we dealt with during the wedding and morning after brunch they all felt like family. The Lenox honestly made our wedding feel so much more special than it already did as everyone there went so far above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. I cannot imagine having had my wedding anywhere else and my only regret is that we can't do it again!!

Choosing The Lenox Hotel was the best decision my husband and I made for our wedding. Taylor, our coordinator, was absolutely amazing. Not only is the hotel gorgeous (and one of our favorites) but the service we received from Taylor and The Lenox throughout the whole process was far beyond our expectations. Taylor was so professional, kind and responsive (I had a lot of questions) throughout the many months leading up to our wedding and she made sure everything went flawlessly on our big day. Literally not a single thing went wrong on the day and my husband and I definitely attribute that to Taylor. She helped us book our rehearsal dinner at City Table too, and even managed to organize some beautiful floral arrangements for me for the tables free of cost when I emailed her last minute saying I forgot (thank you!) She was always there when we needed her and was on point and so helpful reminding us of things to start thinking about as we got closer to the wedding. The food at The Lenox is also fabulous and all of our guests were commenting on how great it was to go to a wedding without \"wedding food.\" The Dome Room where we had our reception is gorgeous and I could not have imagined a better place to have our reception. Another stand out thing about The Lenox is that on your wedding day you have an entire floor to yourself, so the only people on the floor all evening are guests and hotel staff. Honestly, I cannot say enough good things about The Lenox and about Taylor. We could not be happier about how the day went and if you are looking for a reception venue downtown, you have to look at The Lenox. With that, we were instantly dialed in to this venue as our top pick!The Lenox Hotel wedding package is not only priced VERY reasonable, but outlined in a way that is very clear and fun to understand. Alison and her team quickly answered any and all questions we had throughout the process. So many friends would comment along the way ‘Isn’t wedding planning so stressful’ and my answer was always ‘No’ as the Lenox package includes so many small details you don’t have to worry about! It didn’t take us very long to quickly lock in this venue as our selection knowing the spectacular service we would receive and the high quality food that is prepared and served here all the time. At our food tasting we loved everything we tried which made the decision even harder to pick the appetizers and entrees. About a year later in October 2016, the Lenox Hotel team EXCEEDED our expectations in what was such a special day that we will remember forever! We walked into the BEAUTIFUL lit Dome Room with table place settings looking ABSOLUTELY spectacular with all of glitz and glam that special room has. All of our guests were commenting on how perfect the dome room was for our wedding. They also had high remarks for the excellent food and service throughout the evening. We cannot thank Alison and her team enough for their superior service to our guests and to us that night in addition to the level of detail they put in. For one example, we were so caught up with introductions and conversations during our wedding day that Alison and her team realized we did not get a chance to enjoy a slice of cake so with their keen sense of awareness, they wrapped up two slices for us and put it in our suite to enjoy later that evening with a hand written note. Working with this team in the months, weeks, and days leading to our wedding was very easy. We had far less wedding stress than many couples. Every single time we went to the hotel, we were treated like part of the family. From our first meetings to view the venue, to our tasting, to our rehearsal and wedding, every event was absolutely perfect. Even our guests commented about how welcome they felt at our wedding. Alison is such a talented coordinator. She is so accommodating, warm, and she made us feel so special. The day of our wedding was an absolute dream- Alison, Jenn, and their team did an amazing job setting up the room, the food was FANTASTIC (our 114 guests raved about it), and the staff absolutely went above and beyond to make it so that we had nothing to worry about on the day of wedding. There wasn’t a single part of our wedding that did not go as planned, and Alison is a huge part of that! She is incredible at her job. I had the pleasure of getting married here over Labor Day weekend. I must say, it went off like a well choreographed symphony. We stayed and got ready in the Judy Garland suite, which was just so pretty and feminine, and was the perfect backdrop for wedding day photos. Alison, the Director of Catering & Events is the John Williams of this Lenox symphony, not one note was out of place. No idea how she stays so calm and organized with all the weddings and events she is planning. All of the food was delicious and got rave reviews. We were planning this wedding from CA and she made it as easy as it could possibly be. (I am Type A and like to control everything and felt perfectly comfortable leaving everything in her hands.)The best part of the weekend was though was the staff. I wish I could name everyone. They do at least one, if not two weddings every weekend in peak season, yet every staff member treated us like we were the king and queen. They went out of their way to make us feel special. I had the pleasure of getting married here over Labor Day weekend. I must say, it went off like a well choreographed symphony. We stayed and got ready in the Judy Garland suite, which was just so pretty and feminine, and was the perfect backdrop for wedding day photos. Alison, the Director of Catering & Events is the John Williams of this Lenox symphony, not one note was out of place. No idea how she stays so calm and organized with all the weddings and events she is planning. All of the food was delicious and got rave reviews. We even did some menu customization and everything was perfect. Alison was also a dream in providing vendor suggestions (photographer, DJ), as I was overwhelmed with choices online. My husband and I had both our ceremony and reception at The Lenox, and we worked with Taylor Marshall as our Coordinator. We had a unique situation, where we had to change venues 3 months before our wedding day so Taylor had her work cut out for her planning on such short notice. She jumped right on top of things and made it look easy! She was so organized, knowledgeable, professional, and was very quick to respond to emails and phone calls. She's such a sweet, friendly person and so great to work with. My husband and I couldn't have asked for a more beautiful venue for our ceremony and reception. The Dome Room is gorgeous, and the dome really makes the space so much more than your typical hotel function room. The wedding package that you get with The Lenox is comprehensive and their team really takes care of everything for you so you don't have to worry about booking as many outside vendors or doing a ton of stuff yourself. They are also really flexible, and Taylor went above and beyond to accommodate our needs and wishes. She took so much of the stress off of us, as we knew that she would be able to make any last minute guest count changes or other changes work. Having gone through most of planning a wedding at a different venue, I can say with confidence that the catering tasting and food on the day of at The Lenox is unbelievable. Our guests were raving about their meals! The location of the hotel is perfect for photos, as well, with so many great areas being right there (BPL, Marathon finish line, Boylston Street, etc.). The Lenox allows the bride and groom to take photos on the roof at any point throughout the day/evening, which also made for some amazing pictures with the Boston city skyline in the background. Taylor and the rest of the team at The Lenox really went out of their way to make our wedding day amazing, not only with the big things but with the little touches as well. If you choose The Lenox as your venue you won't regret it!

Booking the Lenox hotel was literally the greatest thing we did for our wedding!!!From the day we went to see the space, all the way through our wedding brunch and afterwards the Lenox and their staff including Alison Majka and Taylor Marshall were so friendly, professional, and so personal! They always made us feel like our wedding was the most top priority.All of our wedding guests raved about the amazing service and the food! My husband and I are foodies so that was very important to us! The private food tasting was so special and allowed us to bring guests - gave us so much more confidence that we made the right decision.We did an after party at Solas Irish pub which was so much fun and the perfect place to end the night. We had our brunch in the dome room which had a completely different feel and worked so seamlessly for the weekend to wrap up.I am forever grateful for Taylor Marshall for taking a huge weight off of my shoulders, and assisting with the vendor management. She virtually was a wedding planner even though her title states day of coordinator, she was so much more than that.Taylor checked in throughout the planning process and made sure everything went seamlessly and made sure I had zero stress the day of my wedding. She set up my suite and my husbands room with our favorite snacks from each other and a little emergency kit- which came in handy for the big day. She even went as far as hand delivering adorable little decorated glasses of rosé while the ladies got ready in my suite. We found a really nice handwritten card from her the next morning, she really made us feel so special. There was a dance number with sunglasses which I left at the hotel by accident, Taylor had taken the liberty of shipping them to me and were there in a few days without me even asking. Taylor was our superb wedding coordinator throughout the entire planning process, and helped us immensely at the wedding reception. She went the extra mile to ensure we had everything we needed, and that everything went smoothly.The kitchen/waitstaff/bartenders were also amazing! Everyone was served in a timely manner, the drinks were plentiful, and the quality of the food were 100% up to par with the samples we tried at the tasting. A+! Their wedding package included a cake from Dessert Works, which was almost too beautiful and delicious to eat!The classical setting and medium size of the Dome Room was perfect for our international group of 90 guests, and we loved going to the roof for a brief photo-op during our cocktail hour. The honeymoon suite (included) is also spacious and beautifully-decorated.Overall, our wedding went extremely smoothly, the staff displayed exceptional professionalism, we're 100% satisfied, and we highly recommend you consider The Lenox for your wedding!

Although the Lenox has wedding space on the second floor of the hotel, we held a Cocktail Party reception from 12-3 at the City Table Restaurant with the after party from 3-5 at Solas Irish Pub within the Lenox on June 4. Like others have written in their reviews, I can't say enough good things about our experience and, no matter how hard I try, I can't possibly do our experience justice through this review but I will do my best. Simply put, I can't imagine having a better experience anywhere else in Boston. From our first meeting a year prior with Alison, the Director of Events, through the Sunday after our wedding when we were checking out of the hotel, the level of service we received was simply incredible. We got the sense very quickly into the planning process that Alison shared our vision and that we could trust her which, frankly, made the planning process much less stressful and essentially a breeze. Ultimately, the event that Alison delivered was exactly what we wanted and envisioned. Every single guest is still raving about the food, drinks and the atmosphere. Although we are local, we stayed at the hotel for two nights and every member of the staff that we encountered delivered a level of service that, in my opinion, is unmatched in Boston. Yes, a lot of the staff knew we were getting married that weekend but we also filled twenty rooms with our guests and every single guest at some point throughout the weekend came up to us and raved about the level of service they received from everyone to the Doorman, Bellman, Front Desk Staff and Concierge to the Restaurant Staff. Most importantly, it seemed like the smiles, good-mornings, help, etc. that we received from the staff were truly genuine. The hotel itself is luxurious and exudes a roaring 20's vibe that is simply incredible.One of the other great things about having your wedding at the Lenox is the location. Being local, I can tell you that you're not going to find a better-located hotel in all of Boston. Our guests had hundreds of restaurants, bars, shopping, etc. within walking distance of the hotel as it is located right in the heart of the Back Bay section of the city.In summary, I can assure you that you will not regret your decision to have your wedding at the Lenox. In hindsight, we are so glad that we chose to have our wedding at the Lenox and can't imagine another place delivering the incredible experience we had.Thank you Alison and the Lenox Hotel Staff!

5 stars doesn't seem like enough for the staff at the Lenox! From the beginning the Lenox has exceeded all my expectations. Alison, the wedding coordinator is truly amazing. As an out of town bride, wedding planning can be more difficult but Alison made it so easy. She is quick to respond to all questions and has all the answers! She is incredibly thoughtful and you can't help but want to be her friend! The wedding venue itself is beautiful. When making decorating decisions I knew that I never needed to worry because the details in the venue would make anything seem magical. I can't rave enough about the dome room! Guests will love staying at the Lenox--mine are still talking about their wonderful experience! In fact, one of our guests works in the concierge business and had nothing but glowing remarks about the staff at the Lenox. I had many guests fly in on red eyes and the staff graciously let them check in as soon as they arrived! The food is delicious! The location on Bolyston is perfect! My husband and I can't be happier that we chose the Lenox and are looking forward to coming back for many anniversaries!

Our wedding search started with the typical things, we wanted a beautiful reception space, a good location in the city, top-notch food, and more than anything, good people to work with. The Lenox checks these boxes with the absolute highest of marks! Looking around the Boston area, you’ll see many special reception spaces, but few are as elegant and beautiful as the Dome Room at the Lenox. The food, from the cocktail hour to the reception, is absolute top class and every guest we talked to wouldn’t even dare compare it to typical “wedding food” as it was a class above. The location, especially for out of town guests, is the best neighborhood in Boston to conveniently explore the city. But more than anything, the people at the Lenox made the weekend so incredibly special. Alison Majka is the standard for which all wedding coordinators should be measured. Alison has an incredible sense of calm about her and that can prove invaluable in planning a wedding. We can’t express enough how special it was to get to know and work with Alison. There were so many things she helped us with along the way, but quite simply she was always prompt, a joy to spend time with, and made not only us but also our families comfortable throughout the wedding weekend. Alison, and the entire staff, from Didier helping us through our tasting, to the front desk staff who helped our family relocate into the hotel after their rental apartment down the street flooded (at 3am!) simply exude class and hospitality. The package includes the chance to take pictures on the roof, that is an experience that you should not miss! We also had our rehearsal dinner at Solas the night before and that was a perfect start to the weekend with a private space on the 2nd floor that Alison helped to set up. There aren’t enough positive adjectives to describe our experience with The Lenox this past June 2015! My husband and I began the process of searching for and looking at venues within Boston Proper in Spring 2014. We knew we wanted a smaller-sized intimate wedding and The Lenox was the perfect location for everything on our checklist. The boutique hotel is meticulously maintained and has been restored and sustained with impeccable care and attention to period-style detail. Only one wedding per weekend is conducted at The Lenox, which means the bride and groom receive a level of unmatched service that cannot be found anywhere else. Alison Majka, head of catering and sales, is hands-down one of the top coordinators in the city of Boston. Always quick to respond to emails and phone calls and genuinely dedicated to the happiness and well-being of each and every person she comes in contact with. It meant the world to my husband and I to see her treat our parents and friends the same way she treated us. Our guests could not have had more pleasant things to say about The Lenox and the staff as a whole! \r\tOn the weekend of our wedding, all the stress and anxiety felt by brides and grooms was non-existent for us. Alison was always around, provided us with her cell phone number, and was in constant contact with all of our vendors. Every time I needed her, it was like she instinctively knew and would appear! There aren’t enough positive adjectives to describe our experience with The Lenox this past June 2015! My husband and I began the process of searching for and looking at venues within Boston Proper in Spring 2014. We knew we wanted a smaller-sized intimate wedding and The Lenox was the perfect location for everything on our checklist. The boutique hotel is meticulously maintained and has been restored and sustained with impeccable care and attention to period-style detail. Only one wedding per weekend is conducted at The Lenox, which means the bride and groom receive a level of unmatched service that cannot be found anywhere else. Alison Majka, head of catering and sales, is hands-down one of the top coordinators in the city of Boston. Always quick to respond to emails and phone calls and genuinely dedicated to the happiness and well-being of each and every person she comes in contact with. It meant the world to my husband and I to see her treat our parents and friends the same way she treated us. Our guests could not have had more pleasant things to say about The Lenox and the staff as a whole! \r\tOn the weekend of our wedding, all the stress and anxiety felt by brides and grooms was non-existent for us. Alison was always around, provided us with her cell phone number, and was in constant contact with all of our vendors. Every time I needed her, it was like she instinctively knew and would appear! The hotel is beautiful, and was completely accommodating of a few tricky requests (tricky for us, not for them!): we needed to check in early (no problem) and have our flowers dropped off early (they were sent right up with bellboys), and have space in the valet zone for a Duckboat to pick us up with our wedding party (SO not an issue)! The staff made our lives much easier as we juggled pre- and post-wedding activities, even blocking off some last minute brunch space for us at City Table. Wonderful experience, overall!

Alison and the staff at the Lenox made wedding planning as painless as possible, and gave my husband and I a perfect wedding day. Alison in particular made everything a breeze, and she was extremely flexible with my travel schedule and the many changes I requested in the week before the wedding. They took care of all the little details I couldn't be bothered with - like menus, table settings, and staffing. Many of our guests traveled over 1000 miles to join us, and The Lenox offered the perfect backdrop to a Boston wedding weekend. Many said this was the best wedding they had been to - the food was amazing, and the setting unforgettable. The staff treated us and our guests like royalty. My husband and I do not consider ourselves \"fancy\" individuals, and I was worried that this choice wouldn't fit us. The great thing about The Lenox is it is a small, classy hotel that is far from stuffy. In the end, they gave us and our guests a day we will cherish forever. I can’t say enough about The Lenox Hotel and their absolutely amazing staff. I honestly don't know where to start…the elegant and old world charm of The Lenox Hotel, the sheer beauty of the Dome Room or the unbelievable group of people we got to go through the planning process with…but we could not have asked for a better place to host our wedding ceremony and reception on Oct 19, 2013! \r\rOur wedding coordinator, Alison, was beyond amazing. There was not a single detail she overlooked and our ceremony and reception were evidence of that…it was truly perfect!! The Lenox is an ideal location for an intimate and elegant wedding. The Back Bay location was a perfect setting to show our out of town guests the best of Boston. The ambiance of the hotel is very regal, from the lobby to the hotel rooms, and has an old world charm mixed with modern amenities that few hotels have. However, what truly made our wedding exceptional was the staff at The Lenox. Every person we interacted with was accommodating and professional. Our wedding coordinator, Alison, was tremendous. She was extremely responsive, attentive to every detail, very thoughtful, and held everything together resulting in a great wedding. We had both our ceremony and reception at The Lenox and the transformation of The Dome Room was incredible. In keeping with the excellence in all aspects of our experience, the food was delicious. We've all been to weddings where the food is lacking, but everything from the hors d'oeuvers to the main course was very good. I cannot recommend The Lenox enough for anyone to host an incredible wedding. The food, venue, and especially the staff made for a night I will never forget.

Every guest raved about the beautiful hotel, thoughtfulness of the staff and attention to detail I must say again they were outstanding!\rWe chose The Lenox immediately after meeting Alison and reviewing the wedding package. Included in our package was a one hour open bar, choice of five hors devours, cheese / fruit spread and a signature cocktail as the guests entered the cocktail hour. Dinner was superb with an appetizer, salad, choice of three entrees, wine service, beautiful wedding cake and chocolate covered strawberries \rAlison and her staff made each and every guest feel special taking care of each individuals needs, notifying them of a post wedding brunch, delivering a welcome gift to each guests room. After researching many wedding venues in Boston, we ultimately chose the Lenox Hotel as the best venue for our ceremony and reception, which took place on 7/28/12. One week later, we couldn't be happier with our decision!\r\rAlison Majka, our dedicated wedding planner at the Lenox, worked closely with us throughout the entire planning process to ensure that our wedding weekend ran smoothly. I can't say enough positive things about working with Alison. She is incredibly well-organized, warm, responsive, and more than capable of handling the many (big and small) issues that come up in planning a perfect wedding day. Additionally, Alison is very thoughtful- so much so that she sent us a special gift to celebrate both our bachelorette weekend in Las Vegas and our honeymoon in Cape Cod. Overall, she is just a joy to work with, and she made our wedding day truly special.\r\rThe rest of the staff at the Lenox also went above and beyond to make us and our 112 wedding guests feel welcome and ready to celebrate. Having attended weddings at other upscale wedding venues in Boston, it's safe to say that the warmth of the staff distinguishes the Lenox from the other upscale options. By the end of the weekend, Jimmy (one of the bellmen) was on a first name basis with my new father-in-law and the valet gave us congratulatory hugs (and dog treats for our two dogs!) after packing an absurd amount of luggage and wedding gifts in our too small vehicle. \r\rIn addition to the outstanding staff at the Lenox, we also were impressed with the beauty of the newly renovated Dome Room, the delicious food, the potent cocktails, and the amount of value you get for your money. \r\rIn short, we enthusiastically recommend the Lenox Hotel as an excellent wedding venue.

My husband and I got married on 10/22/11, and we had our reception at the Lenox Hotel. I really wanted a wedding with a downtown, old-Boston feel and the Lenox was perfect for that. The hotel is gorgeous and the domed reception room is really elegant and unique. The reception hall is not that big and I would not recommend having more than 100 guests there (We had 85 and it was perfect). The service was great- our wedding coordinator, Amy Fleury, was quick to answer any questions we had, and everyone did everything they could to accommodate our wishes. My husband and I got married on 10/22/11, and we had our reception at the Lenox Hotel. I really wanted a wedding with a downtown, old-Boston feel and the Lenox was perfect for that. The hotel is gorgeous and the domed reception room is really elegant and unique. The reception hall is not that big and I would not recommend having more than 100 guests there (We had 85 and it was perfect). The service was great- our wedding coordinator, Amy Fleury, was quick to answer any questions we had, and everyone did everything they could to accommodate our wishes. Everything about the experience was classy and elegant. I would definitely recommend it.

I was in love with The Dome Room from the moment I saw it.\rThe night of the wedding it was breathtaking. If you are going for an intimate and classic feel, this ballroom will not disappoint!

Our wedding coordinator was amazing and executed our wedding plans to the \"T\". The hotel was the perfect setting for a classic, city wedding. We loved that the hotel was built in 1900 and it was in the heart of Boston, the city where our love began. From the girls at the front desk to the servers during the reception, we couldn't have asked for better service and always with a smile. I would recommend this venue to anyone!

The location is in Back Bay, the elegant Dome Room with a round dance floor was spectacular, the staff very accommodating and flexible, and the extras provided in the package were a great bonus - chivari chairs, free vendor and kid's meals, delicious and beautiful cake, candles, piano player during cocktail hour, etc... Definitely make an appointment with them and make this one of the places you check out if you want an elegant wedding in Boston!

After looking at numerous locations in and around Boston to find that perfect venue for our wedding, we decided on the Lenox Hotel. The location is perfect, right on Boylston St in the Back Bay. The hotel is beautiful, the staff very helpful and accommodating, and the price was just right. \r\rThe day of the wedding we had the entire second floor of the hotel all to ourselves. The cocktail hour was held in two rooms, right across the hall from the Dome room where the reception took place. The Dome room is absolutely beautiful with a dome ceiling and a round dance floor. The gilded detail and lighting in the room is very classic and elegant, definitely not gaudy. We fit ten ten-person tables in the room and probably could have had a couple more without the room feeling too tight. We used a DJ, but a small band would fit as well. Just to the right of the room, there is a separate space for a bar so that it doesn't crowd up the main room where all the dancing took place. \r\rThe food was great as well! Quality of a four or five-star restaurant! Based on the package you choose you have a variety of options for meals and extras, which are always nice (cheese and bread display, signature drink, etc...). The event planner on site, Lorna, was just great! She allowed us to customize our package so that it was just right for what we had envisioned. Our cake was included in our package from \"Icing on the Cake\" in Newton, and it was delicious and looked beautiful!\r\rI highly recommend the Lenox to anyone with a guest count of 120 or less! If you're looking for city venues, definitely make an appointment with Lorna to see the space!

The room was the perfect size for our small wedding of 95 guests. We didn't want a partition put up and this was the perfect size, felt like the wedding was bigger. Also, the food was fabulous, the tasting was out of this world. The hotel is very historic and close to where I live. It gave my wedding a very 'Boston' feel, which is what I wanted.

For Boston the prices were reasonable the food was excellent and they were very accommodating. The Dome Room is one of the most beautiful ballrooms in the city.
