I cannot say enough good things about our experience with The Lodge. From the moment we got in contact with them to the wedding itself, they were friendly, helpful, clear, straight forward and everything was done with an extraordinary level of care and detail. The venue itself is beautiful, and the brand new chapel was a surprise that was only built after we actually booked! Both Jeff and Amy were excellent communicators and I believe what we got for the price was unparalleled. This was the only venue we ever looked at because it was everything we wanted- the main lodge, the chapel, the grounds and the cottages on the property- all gave us the wedding of our dreams! THANK YOU!

My husband and I had the BEST experience with The Lodge. The staff are so friendly and always available to answer your questions and help out. The location is absolutely beautiful. Our favorite part of this venue was getting to have everyone stay on site with us. I can't recommend this venue enough!

Our wedding was November 4th at the lodge and it by far surpassed my expectations. Jeff and Amy Mazurek exceeded our expectations in every single way. It was a fairytale wedding from the incredible chapel to the beautiful reception. I highly recommend the Lodge at country Inn cottages.

The Lodge is the perfect Hill Country wedding venue where your guests can stay and enjoy the property and the beauty of Fredericksburg. We immediately fell in love with the venue and knew it would be perfect for our wedding weekend. Jeff and Amy were so helpful and kind during the planning process I highly recommend choosing The Lodge. The Lodge at Country Inn Cottages was a perfect venue for our daughter's wedding. The owners were very helpful and very easy to work with. Always answered our questions promptly. Having cabins available for our guest to stay on site was perfect. The cabins were very well furnished and lovely. Highly recommend this venue!!

If you are looking for a venue to create your own style and choose your own vendors then this is the place. Our family and friends stayed onsite in the cutest of cabins. We opted for an outside wedding and cocktail hour and then seated dinner and dance inside. It was the most spectacular, romantic day - everything we dreamed of. Jeff and Amy are super easy to work with and communication was never an issues.

I really liked that we were able to decorate the afternoon before the wedding. It would have been nice to be able to get in there prior to 3 pm, (as per their policy) but we were able to get everything done because we had so many sweet people there to help us out. The owner explained that because of liability issues he could no longer have the elk on premises. However, my son bought a lot of corn in order to have them in the background for wedding photos and was not notified about the change prior to his arrival. That was one of the selling points for both bride and groom. They both wanted the wildlife in the background. My husband and I stayed in cabin 5. I loved how the whole family could congregate in the large living room. I think with a few updates, this could be an awesome cabin. New floors-the carpeting throughout was old and needed replacing. The bathroom connected to the master has NO privacy because the accordion door isn't wide enough to cover from side to side-no longer functioning correctly. Considering the comfy bed faced the toilet... I liked the wood burning stove in the living room-it was cold outside on our visit. All in all, it was a great time for everyone.

The minute we found this venue we had high hopes that it would be exactly what we wanted to fulfill our wedding weekend dreams. After our tour with Jeff, there was no doubt this was where we wanted to get married. Amy made the entire process so easy and seamless. The ladies who helped book all our cabins (Jenette was amazing) were professional, helpful and kind. We personally booked 5 cabins to accommodate all our vendors and our needs and every single one was perfect. Our Welcome Dinner was held at the cabins under a huge tent and the night was amazing. Our overall wedding was absolutely perfect. The bartenders provided by the venue were awesome. Edward even helped bartend at our Welcome Dinner the night before. The only hiccup we had was the outdoor sound system struggling during the ceremony so if your DJ has the ability to provide the mic, let them. None of that was a deal breaker, we were able to see past it because it was a windy day. We canât begin to thank Amy enough for making the whole process so simple. She was professional, punctual and courteous. We canât wait to come back and enjoy some time without all the wedding events going on at the same time!!!

The venue is not only beautiful inside and out but the cabins were too. It was perfect to have everything at one location for us and the guests! This venue was the perfect back drop for \"the best day ever\"! The lodge is beautiful as is without much need for extra decor if you so choose. It's simple, rustic, and elegant. The owner was helpful and answered ALL questions leading up to the wedding. The sound system is so good we considered skipping the DJ. The owner was present during the day of the wedding making sure bathrooms, windows, and patios were clean. We were able to setup the day before the wedding which was a big plus! The bridal and groom's suites were perfect for the wedding party to get ready and store their things throughout the day.

We got married at The Lodge on 12/17/22 and it was the most perfect venue. All of our guests loved the classic Hill Country vibe and Amy and Jeff were so great to work with and made the entire experience perfect. They responded so fast to all of our questions (we had a lot but they were so patient) and having the cabins on site for our guests to stay at made the weekend so much more special so that no one had to drink and drive. It was the perfect wedding and The Lodge played a big part in that, I couldn't recommend them more.

We had our wedding at The Lodge at Country Inn Cottages. It was absolutely perfect! 100 of our closest friends and family stayed on property with us and it could not have been a more perfect weekend. There is nothing better than looking out your window to see everyone you love in the same place. The only sad part was when everyone left! We will stay there for years to come and can't wait to plan a trip to stay there again. There are a million great things to say about the property because Jeff made it perfect for us and everyone else staying there. There isn't another place like it and we had countless people say \"How did you find this place??\" \"This place is amazing!\" \"We're already planning a trip to come back and stay here!\" You can't find a better place and we are lucky we found the perfect place for the best day.

I was planning this wedding while living 5 hours away so any time i needed any question answered they emailed back so quickly. day of was so stress free. being able to have my guests stay at the venue is priceless and took off so much stress about everyone getting home safely. the bar tenders brandon and cheree that were provided through the venue were so attentive and always made sure we had everything we needed. I am so thankful for the whole team. it was a perfect day.

My brother had his wedding here at the lodge and it was an unforgettable weekend. We stayed the weekend in the cabins that the lodge offers and you were able to see everything that the 200 acre ranch has to offer. Seeing deer on a daily basis was awesome, they even had some elk that you can walk up to and take some really cool pictures of or with! My overall experience was amazing, glad I was able to experience it.

My brother had his weeding here. The Lodges and Venue were incredible. The cabins were very welcoming. I was able to experience my stay in November so it was cold and made it so much better. The views were amazing!

My sister and her husband got married here in November of 2019, and when I tell you it was the nicest event it could have been, believe me. The vendor of the The Lodge was very punctual and attending to whatever the wedding party needed, and was very accommodating to all the guests that stayed in the nearby cottages. The venue speaks for itself with itâs natural beauty and wild exotics roaming the ranch freely. I highly recommend for any special event being planned.

This place was absolutely magical!!!! Beautiful 200 acre ranch with lots of wildlife. I loved the fact that when you book with this venue they block the entire ranch and their 35 cottages and rooms available to the public. This allows you to book the entire ranch for your guest or have your guest reserve their cabin or cottage of choice. I loved this because I knew my guest would be safe as soon as the reception was over. No driving anywhere if they are staying on the ranch. Great customer service and always in communication.

We are so glad we picked The Lodge as our wedding venue. I cannot recommend this venue enough! Amy and Jeff are so sweet and quick to respond to any questions we had. There are so many wonderful things about this venue but I absolutely loved being able to set up the venue the day before, such a blessing!!! This reduced so much stress on me and my family and allowed us to actually be able to enjoy the wedding day! I cannot imagine doing it any other way now, I think more venues should offer this! My husband's family and a majority of our guests live out of state so having the cabins on-site allowed everyone a chance to meet, relax and really soak everything in. Being pet-friendly was also a huge plus for us!! Everyone is still raving about how much they loved the venue and the cottages. From beginning to end our experience was wonderful and I would recommend this venue a 100x over.

The Lodge was the perfect venue for our daughterâs wedding. It was a classy, elegant, rustic affair. Our family and friends filled the cabins and we never had to leave. Jeff and Amy were easy to work with and very responsive. Everything was perfect. Our friends and family are still talking about what a beautiful wedding it was. The elk and wildlife is such an added perk that made it even more special. It was absolutely the best weekend EVER! Donât think twice- have your wedding at the lodge! You wonât regret it.

The Lodge at Country Inn Cottages is a truly beautiful and unique wedding venue! We had a lot of family coming in from out of state, and it was important to us to find a venue that also provided lodging. All of our guests that stayed on property absolutely raved about the cabins and how nice it was to see the wildlife in the Texas hill country. Most of our reception decor was simple and DIY, but the venue itself is so gorgeous it made everything come together beautifully. Additionally, Amy and Jeff were very pleasant to work with. Correspondence was quick and professional, providing us with a seamless planning experience. I would highly recommend choosing The Lodge at Country Inn Cottages for your wedding, family reunion, or even just a weekend getaway!

This place is incredible and there aren't enough words to express that feeling. Being able to have family and friends stay onsite at the cottages and celebrate the entire weekend with them was amazing. Elk, Axis, Deer, mini horse, etc., roaming the entire property made every guest enjoy their stay even more, especially when it's the first time seeing these animals! The boys went skeet shooting morning of the wedding which was a great start to the day for my husband and his guys. Then to Amy and Jeff. Wow, what incredible and dedicated people. So easy to work with, ensure we had everything and more on our day, and that everything went smoothly. It's SO true when they say you get the entire weekend, keys under seat, and never have to get behind the wheel. We wouldn't have changed anything that weekend and appreciate the Lodge so much!!

This venue was perfect for our wedding. Our guests loved all of the cabins and being able to stay near everybody. I also love how flexible they were about letting us drop things off beforehand and getting setup early. We rented all of the cabins so had events on the large patios and it was perfect for that. Jeff and Amy were very helpful every step of the way. My only negative comment is regarding the string lights on the outdoor patio - these are not included in the rental price.

This venue is everything you could want and more. First of all, it is absolutely gorgeous!! With Elk roaming the property, on-site cabins, stunning views and more, The Lodge was the perfect backdrop for our hill country wedding. Then we get to Amy and Jeff. They were spectacular throughout the entire planning process. They were always prompt with responses and answered any questions we had. They were willing to meet at the property multiple times in order for myself and our coordinator to fully plan and prep for the wedding. We booked all the cabins for friends and family, having everyone on-site made it so special. Friday night we had Dave Fenley come out to play some music, which allowed those from out of town to begin celebrating Friday night. Saturday, we had our ceremony on the site right next to the reception hall. It was so convenient being right there. We had 257 guests and there was plenty of space! Sunday, we used the breakfast vouchers to buy breakfast for our guests. Myself and my new husband passed out kolaches and pastries to our guest on their way out. It was so special getting to see everyone Friday, Saturday And Sunday. The weekend was absolutely flawless and everything I had dreamed of and then some. I highly highly recommend The Lodge for any bride-to-be!!

The Lodge and Country Inn & Cottages were the perfect setting for my daughter's wedding weekend! Amy and Jeff were amazing to work with. They were always to responsive to my questions and concerns especially during this difficult time with COVID-19. The Lodge was so beautiful inside and outside. The landscape was the perfect backdrop for the wedding. We only needed minimal decorations. We really appreciated the time provided to set up and clean up for the wedding. Most venues are not as generous with time allotted for this. Our guests enjoyed all the amenities and rustic charm of the cottages. The Homestead House and patio area were the perfect place for our family and friends to gather for drinks, lawn games and hanging out. The deer, elk, and cows were welcomed special guests and everyone enjoyed feeding them. The cottages were impeccably clean and comfy. The bride and groom wanted a \"family-reunion style\" wedding weekend and this Texas Hill Country ranch provided that an so much more. Janette and her team were so helpful and assisted all our guests in choosing the perfect cottage for their families. The meal vouchers were great and we enjoyed using them at Andy's Cafe and The Old German Bakery to provide breakfast for all our guests. Planning a destination wedding from out of town is always challenging but the folks at The Lodge and Country Inn & Cottages made it so easy. It is absolutely true what they say \"come as strangers, leave as friends\". We are looking forward to staying again as a family to celebrate many anniversaries with the happy couple.

I was the Matron if Honor in the Fulford wedding. Most of the bridal party/family/friends/guests came from out of town and The Lodge made us all feel comfy and comfortable! Accommodations were amazing with the onsite cabins available for renting. The venue was amazing with outdoor and indoor options. We were able to witness the beautiful wildlife every day we were there! They had the perfect setup for food, a beautiful bar for drinks, and plenty of room for a DJ! Bridal and groom suites were great and catered perfectly to the ladies vs men. I would recommend this venue and give it a 10/10.

So I'm not from Texas, and I was bringing in family and friends from other parts of the country and world. This venue just made it so easy to get everyone in the same place to enjoy and take advantage of the short time we were all together. It was great...and that doesn't count all the elk and deer around! We are taking photos and BAM, massive elk just chilling fat in tha background. Or the awesome bbq we had, or the laughs we had in the big house, or the fire pits and cookouts etc. Everyone who visited from abroad loved it! They were all like \"This is Texas? I thought Texas was desert and horses and snakes!\" Naw, this spot here is Texas...eventhough I'm sure there were some snakes somewhere if we looked. We didn't look though, so all was good. Most importantly, the wife loved it and wouldn't have changed a thing, so therefore I wouldn't have changed a thing. 10 outta 10, would do again...well... hopefully that doesn't come up, but so far so good, which I contribute 100% to starting it all off on the right foot - by doing our wedding here, at The Lodge.

Most importantly, the wife loved it and wouldn't have changed a thing, so therefore I wouldn't have changed a thing. 10 outta 10, would do again...well... hopefully that doesn't come up, but so far so good, which I contribute 100% to starting it all off on the right foot - by doing our wedding here, at The Lodge.

The Lodge was amazing! Iâm from Texas and my husband is from Canada so booking The Lodge and be able to offer our guest accommodations was a no-brainer for us! Our guests loved the location and loved seeing the animals! We were even able to bring our dog and have her be in the wedding. I highly recommend this venue and we looked at several in the area!

I just had my wedding and I want to get married all over again because it was the most perfect experience thanks to The Lodge. I have always imagined what my dream wedding would be and the reality was so much better than I imagined. The venue was straight out of a hallmark movie and so beautiful. Our guests had such an awesome experience that they can't wait to go back. They are still complimenting the wedding and venue on how perfect and beautiful it was. The Lodge was such a beautiful venue! We had guests from 22 different states attend our wedding and it was really important to us that we had a place with a \"Texas\" feel and also somewhere that guest could stay on site and not have to drive after partying and The Lodge delivered! I received more compliments on the venue than almost any other part of the wedding! Jeff and Amy were great to work with and everyone LOVED feeding the elk! I would not change one thing about the Lodge and would book this venue 1,000 times over. My nephew and new wife got married at the The Lodge on 2/23/19. Many of the family from both sides stayed on the property which gave it a very intimate and loving atmosphere. The cocktail hour was delightful out on the courtyard as the bride and groom were able to revel in the beauty of the reception area. The elk on the property are friendly as well as amusing. We all got some great pictures with them and the bride and groom were able to get some amazing photos with the elk. The facility is run by very kind and caring people who only want you to have a great event.

The Lodge personnel were helpful, courteous, and very friendly. Iâm not sure what I was expecting for the facility, but it surpassed any thoughts I may have had. Having everything on one site was wonderful especially for out of towners. The cabins were charming and comfortable. Grazing elk we could watch and feed added to the Texas country feel. Watching the Lodge be transformed from a large space to an elegant intimate wedding setting and then transformed again to an elegant dinner reception was amazing. The accommodations for the bride and bridal party and the groom and groomsmen were large enough so there was room for all the preparations for both parties. It was a wonderful setting for my granddaughterâs wedding.

Firstly, the Lodge is a stunning place to see. Nestled in the Texas Hill Country, this venue is a cut above the rest in terms of its natural beauty and the eloquent yet cozy facilities. There is certainly a rustic hill country flair to everything, but it's not done in a way that in any way diminishes the cleanness and niceness of the design. It adds warmth and authenticity without taking away the ability to be formal and celebratory. I very much appreciated the versatility of the space; there is very little you could imagine that you also could not practically achieve as far as layouts and decorations. The staff made no small effort to ensure that my wedding day was blissfully perfect. From the coordination of the temperature in the room to the sound system and layout of the space, they wanted to make sure it was exactly what my beloved and I wanted. The cottages themselves were visually impressive, comfortable, and so very convenient. They allowed us to spend precious time with family members that I otherwise would not have gotten. I am forever grateful for the opportunity to be married in such a superb venue.

I cannot speak highly enough of this amazing venue! From the very beginning of the tour I felt like the place was run by such competent and caring people, that have done a million weddings and have so much experience, but see the unique and beautiful aspects of each couple and strive to make the venue reflect those beautiful differences. They had the little details that make your day either amazing or a nightmare down to a science, from the exact temperatures to keep the brides and grooms suites (yes they keep them at different temperatures.. like... how many weddings do you have to do to know that brides prefer between 71 and 69 and grooms and groomsmen are comfortable on the lower end? ) and how to adjust the ceremony / reception temperature based on time of day, number of people etc. Like, they took care of all the little things, that is just one example, that you really could never even think to be concerned about until you are sweating waiting to walk down the isle and its just too late to do anything about it! We did something rather unique for my wedding, we had the ceremony and the reception in the same space and flipped the room in between while the guests were at cocktail hour. Now that doesn't sound like too big of a deal, but you should probably know that I had the space filled with pews and we basically transformed it into a high ceilinged chapel/cathedral complete with stained glass window outlines and all. So it was quite an ordeal to work out the logistics of the flip and setting up the entire reception but they didn't bat an eye, just worked with my planner to figure out how to do it and make the bride happy. The grounds that the venue is located on are stunning, we were able to take the most breathtaking pictures without having to walk off the property, and the outdoor dance floor is lit up at night and is simply picturesque. Everything is designed to be photogenic and allow for natural flow of guests, even with the ridiculous and high maintenance room flip that I demanded since I did not want to get married outside in the taxes heat in August! (Although you could do it, looking back the day was cool enough and the outdoor ceremony space is shaded). We booked out the whole property, all the cabins and everything, for the weekend and my whole family (like 100 people y'all) and the whole wedding party was able to stay on site, which was wonderful for our out of town guests to not have to worry about driving back and forth from a hotel to the site. The cabins were just a short walk down a hill from the venue. Our wedding day was simply magical, and the wonderful owners and staff at The Lodge contributed greatly to making our wedding day the best day of our lives, you couldn't be in better hands.

It was a fairytale wedding weekend in every way and the Lodge provided the beautiful background setting for all our activities! From our rehearsal dinner on Friday to the guys skeet shoot Saturday to the fabulous wedding Saturday night! Jeff and Amy were super accommodating and helpful in every way! My son and my lovely new daughter-in-lawâs wedding was held here in December 2018. It was a fairytale wedding weekend in every way and the Lodge provided the beautiful background setting for all our activities! From our rehearsal dinner on Friday to the guys skeet shoot Saturday to the fabulous wedding Saturday night! Jeff and Amy were super accommodating and helpful in every way! Our families loved staying in the awesome cabins. It was a perfect weekend â¤ď¸

After initially planning to celebrate in Houston, we found The Lodge and completely changed gears to a Fredericksburg wedding . I toured the venue on a whim when I was in town visiting my family, and Jeff sold me on the place immediately. It was the perfect size and location for the day we were planning, and the venue itself is just so beautiful! I didn't have a wedding planner, so Amy and Jeff's help throughout the year was invaluable. No question was too silly or small. Amy was always quick to respond to my emails, which were plentiful, with her sincere advice and made me feel at ease with the planning process. We had a 4pm church rehearsal in town on Friday, and Amy and Jeff were kind enough to adjust the venue setup time that day to accommodate our schedule. Since we had all of the cottages booked with wedding guests, we were able to use the outdoor patio area (by the cottages) for our rehearsal dinner. Most of our guests were were from out of town and they were delighted with the scenery and all of the wildlife. We wanted them all to experience what Trevor and I love so much about the Texas Hill Country, and this was the perfect place to show it. The wedding day went as smoothly as we could have hoped and the venue looked amazing! We were very lucky with the weather and had the outside patio set up with cocktail tables so that everyone could enjoy the beautiful evening. We also had a bunch of little ones at the reception, and this is a great location for them as well. Lots of outdoor space for them to run around when they get bored inside with all of the adults. Our guests went on and on about how beautiful everything was and we have the pictures to prove it! Overall, we were beyond pleased with our venue choice! I want to include this next part for any fellow Brides doing their own wedding planning :1.) just remember that you are responsible for setup and teardown of tables and chairs. Be sure to line up your help ahead of time. We had about 10 people helping and it took us about 2 hours to setup inside tables, chairs, chair cushions, centerpieces and outdoor cocktail tables. Teardown on Sunday was faster, but still took at least an hour. 2.) Wine and cocktail glasses are not included with the bar, they are an extra charge. Pricing is reasonable , but just be aware. 3.) Per the contract all beer and wine is purchased through the venue. It took several e-mails, but ultimately we found a red, white and sparking that we were very happy with (even ordered extra to take home). Just know that your initial choice may not be available with the vendor. 4.)

First, let me say that I have a demanding full time job and planned a wedding in 2.5 months. I was on quite the time constraint, so I was hoping to find a venue that was both beautiful and seamless to work with. After looking at several venues in the hill country area, this was my last stop. From the moment I toured their beautiful property, I was never left disappointed. The actual facility is stunning and in impeccable condition. The options are unlimited as to what you can do with the space. The onsite cabins are stunning. The attention to detail and high end accommodations for a ârustic country experienceâ are beyond anything I could have asked for. This is a place I would stay for a weekend getaway. In fact, my husband and I wanted a place we could come back to for visits and we plan on doing just that.All of those things are wonderful, but add to it that I simply cannot say enough about Jeff and Amy. Their professionalism, responsiveness and willingness to help was a game changer for me. I wish everyone could be as helpful as them. They worked behind the scenes to make everything absolutely perfect for our special day. Not one detail was left unattended to and the day could not have been more perfect. Their staff is friendly and attentive and I havenât stopped receiving compliments as to how wonderful everything was from the actual wedding to the facilities to the accommodations. Iâm a very detail oriented person and a planner by nature, so to have a facility and owners that also appreciate that is something that I learned in this process is very tough to find. All I have heard from my guests have been rave reviews. People were able to go and visit local wineries, Lukenbach and all of the shops in town and made a weekend of their visit. Fredericksburg, TX is a popular and beautiful place for a wedding. Of all the venues we checked out, this is BY FAR the best!! It's a beautiful building, recently built, with every convenience a bride could ask for. Beautiful lighting, great sound system, full-service bar, spacious and comfortable rooms for the bride and groom and their attendants, spacious (for at least 200, plus a band and caterers), an outdoor wedding space that is beautiful in itself, but lends itself to great decorations for any kind of service, cabins on site and suites in town (we didn't use their lodging facilities because another bride had already reserved their cabins for one of the nights we needed). It truly is the perfect space for an outdoor (or indoor) wedding and reception, and the owners, two of the nicest people I have ever had the pleasure to do business with, are right there with you to make sure that EVERYTHING is perfect for you and your guests. This is, without question, a FIVE STAR facility, located just outside of Fredericksburg, a quaint, beautiful German-American town. Our wedding was on December 27, and the Christmas decorations in town are just AMAZING. After the rehearsal dinner, we hired a red, double-decker bus to take guests to the Market Center downtown, a large park with lots of huge trees full of lights, a life-size Nativity Scene, and a HUGE Tower of Christmas Windmill, for some hot mulled wine, hot chocolate and pastries. My daughter is an opera singer, and when she visited Fredericksburg with her then boyfriend, he proposed to her there, and because it looked so much like some of the towns in Germany where she had sung, she decided that Fredericksburg was exactly where she wanted to be married. A beautiful, extremely friendly, and tourist oriented community in the Texas Hill/Wine Country... the PERFECT place for a wedding and all of the associated events and lodging requirements, a 4 hour drive from the DFW area, or 90 minutes from Austin or San Antonio airports.

( bridal suite amazing). The land it's on is picturesque with large oak trees and green meadows, great for pictures. There are 28 b&b's onsite, which make this very private. The terrace was beautiful with draping and fountains.... I can just go on and on.\r\rThe owners were very attentive. They were on point and picked up the slack of my over priced wedding planner. I'm re-reviewing the venue now that we are married. I want to keep my original review because there were definitely some mishaps and plenty of miscommunication getting things booked (see below). Fast forward to the week of the wedding. Everything looked absolutely beautiful. We worked with Jasper Eisenberg who was a total pro and made sure everything went off without a hitch. Jeff and team stepped it up as it got closer and made themselves available to help with whatever we needed. They were also lenient when it came to getting our things out the next day which was nice for our hungover helpers. The guests enjoyed being on site, how beautiful everything was and the gorgeous weather. \r\rThe venue (in my opinion) is one of the most important parts of a wedding that really defines it. This venue was pretty new and ironing out a lot of things, including someone to work the bookings. I hope that since we booked they've ironed out all the kinks and learned from past mistakes. \r\r\r\r\rI booked my wedding at this venue for October for this year (2014). It was not happened yet so I may decide to change the review, but so far my experience working this venue so far has not been good. I originally chose this venue because it's very pretty, but also for the 28 onsite cabins. I loved the idea of having most of my guests stay onsite. The venue is pricier than a lot I was looking at, but chose to overlook this for having the onsite accommodations (I didn't want a hotel). I knew they had only had 2 weddings at the point I signed the contract and this should have been a warning sign. \r\rFrom day 1 they were pretty disorganized and unresponsive. I found out after signing the contract that 6 of the cabins were already booked. The owner did not seem to try that hard to take care of the situation that should not have even happened in the first place. After almost 2 months of he told me the people in the cabins were not moving and that was all he could do. He did not offer to compensate me in any other way, even though he knew the cabins were an integral part of my wedding. \r\rThe onsite B&B seems to be first priority for the couple that owns this venue, not the venue itself. Not a great attitude when you have people choosing this to have their dream wedding. It has left a bad taste in my mouth and I would caution people to realize this fact what they are looking into when booking this venue. \r\r

I'm re-reviewing the venue now that we are married. I want to keep my original review because there were definitely some mishaps and plenty of miscommunication getting things booked (see below). Fast forward to the week of the wedding. Everything looked absolutely beautiful. We worked with Jasper Eisenberg who was a total pro and made sure everything went off without a hitch. Jeff and team stepped it up as it got closer and made themselves available to help with whatever we needed. They were also lenient when it came to getting our things out the next day which was nice for our hungover helpers. The guests enjoyed being on site, how beautiful everything was and the gorgeous weather. \r\rThe venue (in my opinion) is one of the most important parts of a wedding that really defines it.
