This is a beautiful venue with a rustic feel. We had around 130 guests and it was a great size with a perfect layout for a wedding! Allison was great to work with and we couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day! Reviewed on 08-10-2023

Absolutely a breathtaking venue. We just got married on Saturday. We had yard games throughout the night and even did a late night s’mores bar! Everyone raved about the venue. Just a heads up if you choose to do the full open bar it only includes rail cocktails and 2 draft line picks. Reviewed on 29-08-2023

Amazing venue with an amazing view! Allison was a peach to work with! Perfect for a 150 ppl wedding. They provided us with yard games. For a cheap additional cost had a s’mores bar that guests could roast their marshmallows on multiple fire pits on the patio. Everything the day of ran smoothly and Allison was there if we needed anything at all! Highly recommend! Reviewed on 23-08-2023
Olga Ceballos(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 01-10-2022 Our wedding here was really the perfect day - Andrea was great, accommodating, supportive, and very flexible. The place has such a nice rustic almost up-north feel. The outdoor firepit was a huge hit especially in the middle of fall where the evenings are cool. The backdrop outside was gorgeous, for the ceremony and also for photos. Highly recommend as a great local option for Franklinites and the surrounding areas. Reviewed on 07-10-2022
Nicholas Compton(bride)1 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 16-10-2021 So we got married here and was really excited about how beautiful it was and how affordable but the Is andrea has a really bad lack of communication I had to show up the day of our wedding to decorate she was late there and then she did absolutely nothing but stand on her phone while me and my grooms was setting everything up she was giving tours and people where messing with our stuff she had told us there will be parking signs out to show where the wedding was because the venue is tucked away they and didn't said there would be security set up to keep the people from the haunted house out and there was not I spent half of my wedding night running people out also-ran people out of the bar that was there being served beer the two bartenders was not dressed for a wedding and sat on there phone majority of the time to where my guests were waiting several minutes to get a drink and Andrea told us all of their staff would be wearing mask and they where not when we brought all the concerns to to her she didn't seem to care and gave a sorry excuse for everything I would not use this place they are unprofessional and unorganized most of all a joke we escalated our concerns to some one Is higher up than Andrea And they also sent a very poor apology for apology and And suggested that they sent us gift cards for it's large for the park but yet we don't ski or snowboard or any of that so really is really really poor service Reviewed on 23-10-2021
Danielle Lebakken(bride)2 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 16-10-2021 1. Our bartenders/event staff were not dressed for an event and also spent quite a bit of time on their phones. The one guy was wearing a hoodie and athletic shorts and sat on the back of the bar chatting with the bartenders for a long time.2. The tables were set up so close together it was really hard for people to sit comfortably. We had one table of my husband's family that came from out of state that could not sit at all due to how crammed it was. They had to stand and eat with their young children. That is unacceptable. 3. We were told there would be people monitoring and keeping people from the haunted house on the complex out but that was not the case. People were wandering in and out all night using the bathroom, sitting by the fire pit, standing in front of the venue, taking beer off tables and leaving, etc. 4. We were also told that signs would be put up leading people to the venue as the complex can be kind of confusing, but there were no signs. Our caterer was late because they couldn't find it and I had several guests tell me they had a hard time as well. 5. Andrea, the event coordinator, was giving tours while we were setting up for our wedding and then was not there for our event. She also did not have certain things set up the way we expected. We had a few different meetings but then she still sent me the wrong floor plan that I had to correct. She doesn't really seem to have it together. 6. When I brought these things to their attention after our wedding, their responses were pretty condescending and they took no responsibility. They offered a gift card to go skiing. Using this venue is the only regret I have about my wedding day and it just sucks that it was the thing we spent the most money on. The venue is gorgeous but their service needs major improvements. Hannah Swart(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 10-09-2021 We are so happy we chose the Lodge at the Rock for our wedding. The view overlooking Whitnall Park makes for a beautiful outdoor ceremony space & backdrop for pictures. We also loved having the outdoor space for our guests to play lawn games during cocktail hour and sit around the fire in the evening. The indoor space is rustic & cozy. Andrea was great to work with and was very flexible throughout us postponing due to Covid. All the staff at the Rock were great and made sure the day ran smoothly! Highly recommend! Janelle Hagen(bride)3 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 31-07-2021 I haven't even gotten married there yet, and I'm stressed out. The venue itself is absolutely gorgeous and everything we could have ever wanted. BUT the coordinator ruins our rating. she's absolutely hard to get a hold of. She'll tell us she'll email us on a such and such date and never does. I sent over a follow up email asking for the bar invoice like we needed a while ago, and still nothing. Our things are due tomorrow and we can't pay if we can't get hold of our coordinator with a single invoice. Our wedding already seems like it's going to be a total shit show. She seems to just agree with everything. It's really frustrating that we put our time and money into a place that I am feeling defeated over. I absolutely feel like things are not going to run as smooth because her communication is 0 out of 0.... We pray our wedding day does end up going smoothly, but the coordinator doesn't give us high hopes. Reviewed on 15-07-2021
Amanda Kaifesh(bride)4 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 02-08-2019 We were a little worried at first, having 3 different wedding coordinators in a few months but it all turned out great. The price we were given originally was a huge discount. Plus the space is large and beautiful. So many windows, ample seating for guests, and a large patio with a fire place made it hard to pass up. There were little to no decorating restrictions which helped. We served smores at the party which was so fun. It's situated on top of a hill so the sunset was just amazing. Everyone was outside until the mosquitoes took over. Overall, a great space for a party. Reviewed on 19-08-2019
Jason Ondricka(groom)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 18-05-2019 We are so glad we chose The Rock Venue as the place to hold our wedding Reception. Nicole was amazing to work with and took care of every detail for us. Her communication with us was more than we could have ever asked for and she took all the uncertainty out of a stressful time during the planning stages. Nicole and her staff were extremely professional and went out of their way to make us feel like we're the only event they had even though there were events there every weekend. Nicole took the lead in communicating with our vendors and made sure no details were overlooked. We had an amazing time at our wedding reception at The Rock and it was an evening we'll never forget. The place looked absolutely amazing on our wedding day and we would definitely recommend The Rock for anyone looking to host a classy wedding with a rustic appearance. Asusena Contreras(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 31-05-2019 We had our wedding reception there and it turned out perfect. Nicole and her staff were awesome. Nicole responded to any and all my questions whether they were big or small promptly without any hesitation. She was so easy to work with from the beginning. The bar staff was just as great to work with. The venue itself was perfect! We were able to have a live band play outside and a dj inside once the band left so it was pure perfection with how it is laid out. We had a lot of people but because of having it as an indoor/outdoor venue, we had more than enough room. The pictures from the photographer turned out beautiful with the outdoor scenery that added an extra special touch. I have nothing but wonderful words to say about the staff and the venue. Everyone loved our reception and we only received positive feedback. Reviewed on 13-06-2019

Lisa Krajewski(bride)4 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 09-06-2007 The outside over looking Whitnall Park and all the greenery. The manager was willing to work with me.;They allow others into the hall from the outside (the public) prior to the ceremony and reception to use bathrooms etc. It was a motorcycle class and a BMX group. I didn't realize I would have to share the venue for part of the day. Parking was quite bad as the motorcycle class took up most of the lot. We set up the night before with baskets in the bathroom for guests and most was taken by others using the bathrooms from the two groups. Reviewed on 10-05-2010
