I do not recommend anyone have their wedding here! When our original coordinator quit, we found out through a Facebook group not our venue!! After finally tracking down the new coordinators person cell (months later) we were told things that were promised by our first coordinator were no longer being honored. This we brushed off because it wasn’t in writing which looking back we should have made sure of. Shortly before the original coordinator quit a new contract was sent out asking for MORE money and for us to sign a new contract. No thank you. We thought we’d have to find another place for our ceremony/reception but luckily we did not have to sign off in the new contract. Fast forward to 6 months before the wedding- we’ve gone weeks without a response to an email, the website is no longer in use and no one is answering their phones. We have family go in person to get a hold of someone and no one is at the building. Weeks later we get a response after again panicking about finding a new venue. Thank god we had a separate coordinator.Day of the wedding- bartender walked off halfway through the wedding and kept the bar closed and additional 30 minutes because she was upset the bridal party was getting drinks during the closed bar for “other people”. “Other people” being the brides parents…. Venue coordinator still required us to pay for the 30 minutes we had extended the bar regardless of the fact that their staff was unprofessional. Please do not even consider booking this beautiful, but unorganized venue!!!

DO NOT HAVE YOUR WEDDING HERE!! My husband and I were married here in July 2015. We went through three coordinators in the wedding planning phase (two of them fantastic) but for wedding we had the newest coordinator, Cyndee. She was not very accommodating to our requests, fought them every step of the way, and does seem very wedding experienced. She made multiple ( some VERY big) mistakes on the wedding day and even left before the reception began! There was never a sorry or an offer to make things right during or after our wedding. I am so disappointed and upset at hidden valley. After attending other weddings this summer, it really showed me what a wedding coordinator and venue should do for thier brides and grooms that we did not get at Hidden valley. Look elsewhere

The lodge charges a required administration fee, but it is well worth it. The day of my wedding, their on staff coordinator handled all of the logistics. Their team also set up all of the decorations I gave them the day before exactly as I had described. Due to their great service, my husband and I were truly able to enjoy our day.\rYou also can't beat the natural beauty and views inside and outside the lodge. We have amazing pictures!\rThe food was fantastic- I have heard no complaints from any of our guests.
