We had our wedding at The Lodges this summer and it was everything we pictured for our day and MORE! With guests being able to stay on site, it created an intimate atmosphere where we saw all of our favorite people ALL weekend long! From coordinating all of the little details, to making sure the bride was taken care of the day of, this wedding experience was stress free and absolutely wonderful! Beth made everything run smoothly and made sure all of our requests were handled! The food was absolutely delicious and the complimentary suite for bride and groom for the night of was beautiful! (Complete with cake and food) if you’re thinking of getting married in PA, I highly recommend The Lodges! Our guests are STILL raving about their experience too!!!

We had a truly incredible wedding at the Lodges at Gettysburg (LAG). From the very first day we toured the venue to the post-wedding teardown, LAG staff were kind and helpful at every step. Our day-of coordinator, Beth Senseney, was incredible and worked with us throughout the process to create the wedding we were dreaming of. She was very responsive (even over email!) and had a lot of great ideas she brought to the table to help us turn our vision into reality. Since LAG also does the catering and lodging I'll also say that the food was amazing and all our guests were raving about it, the individual lodges for guests are lovely and our guests had a great time staying on-site, the location is exactly what we wanted (rural, historic, elegant), and we were able to decorate the ballroom to our exact specifications. One of our favorite things about this whole process was that the Lodges has cultivated a fantastic group of vendors who have done dozens of weddings together- we just picked a few from the LAG list and they all worked together to create a perfect ceremony and reception. All in all I really think that if you choose the Lodges at Gettysburg as your wedding venue you will not just have a fun wedding, you will be able to create some amazing, lasting memories for both you and your guests without any of the all-too-common stories of negative vendor/venue experiences.

We just had our wedding at the lodges & i couldn’t have asked for a better wedding!! From the employees, to the food, to the room, everything was amazing & made our wedding weekend everything we ever wanted. Beth was so easy to work with & made sure every wedding wish for us come true & made sure our wedding was as less stressful as she could make it! All of our guest to our wedding said our wedding was the best one they have been to, & we couldn’t have done that with such an amazing team at that lodges!!!

The Lodges at Gettysburg is the BEST place to get married! From the staff, to the property and scenery, everything was perfect! Starting with Beth who worked with us multiple years out from our wedding date, having GREAT communication leading up to the wedding and day of. To Nona and her team at the front desk assisting with all the lodge bookings for our guests. And Kolton holding down the fort with his great skills in the Tavern. Everyone went out of their way to make our \"rained-out\" wedding into the best day ever!-The outdoor location is beautiful scenery!-The inside venue is beautiful with charm!-The food and service catering was great!We found this place because we wanted all out guests to stay on property and enjoy a great weekend, The Lodges at Gettysburg exceeded all expectations and some! It will forever hold a special place in our hearts!

We are so happy we chose The Lodges as our venue! Not only was the food delicious and all our guests raved about it…but the people are amazing and the grounds are beautiful! Beth was our coordinator and you can tell she’s been doing this for years and always made sure our drinks were full and we ate. Nona is a smiling face at the front desk and always checked in on us, especially me. The Lodges will hold a special place in our hearts forever and we will definitely be back to visit. Do the bonfire and pizza for the after party!

We wish we could give six stars! We got married late this summer at the Lodges and feel so lucky to have found this venue. Natural beauty, historic charm, a truly seamless planning process, incredible location, memorable “destination” weekend for our guests, amazing food, the most helpful staff, and an all star vendor list made for the perfect weekend in every way. Beth was our coordinator and she was a brilliant collaborator in every sense of the word. In what could have been a very stressful weekend, she somehow kept all the details in check for us and our guests. She thinks of everything!! Plus, she’s so much fun to work with and from the first time we met her, we felt we could be our true selves. One particular moment that sticks out is after the ceremony when Heather (the bride) went to get her dress bustled. Beth brought her a drink and hors d'oeuvres which was so needed! These are the ‘small things’ that marketing can’t really describe but truly made it the absolute best experience and the happiest day of our lives. Beth has also done a ton of weddings with the vendors on their “preferred list” which gave us much confidence that everything would go smoothly. And it did :) If you’re considering the Lodges for your wedding, DO IT!!!

I feel so grateful my husband and I chose to get married at the Lodges at Gettysburg, it was the perfect venue for our wedding! The property is gorgeous and has all of the lodges for the guests to stay which was perfect for our friends and family. We had our wedding inside due to rain and it was more than perfect, the team at the Lodges worked with us to make a rain plan that truly encompassed the vision for our day. Not only is The Lodges beautiful, but every single person we worked with on the day was extremely kind and sincerely felt like we had known them for years. It was obvious that the employees at The Lodges were invested your wedding day and wanted it to be as special as you wanted it to be. Beth, was incredible during the entire planning process and really helped us put the whole day together and work out all the kinks. Lisa, our day of coordinator, checked in on me throughout the day, was present throughout the whole ceremony and reception and really helped my husband and I relax and enjoy our day. I can only say great things about the Lodges, and words cannot describe how happy we are that we chose the Lodges to get married at. I also just need to say, that our guests have told my husband and I that this was the best wedding food they've ever had! Our wedding was more than we could have imagined because we chose the Lodges at Gettysburg!

I don't think words can describe how amazing the Lodges at Gettysburg is. Forget about the location being absolutely perfect. But the staff, especially beth and Nona, are phenomenal. Ever since one made us feel like family visiting. We hosted our wedding there, having lodging right on site was amazing. We heard nothing but great things from our guests, which we were not surprised about! We were also able to host a bonfire after our wedding reception and a farewell brunch the morning after. They made the whole weekend seemeless and stress free. It was the wedding of our dreams. I could cry happy tears just reliving and talking about the weekend. It was the perfect wedding weekend from start to finish being surrounded by our family and friends and having the best venue we could have imagined. They have gained some lifetime visitors from us and we can not wait to go back for a visit!

Father of the bride .I have been staying in these wonderful Lodges for many years & when it was time for my daughter to get married, I suggested they look into it. They had been having trouble finding the right place, but once they saw the place & met the people, they or I should say she, was sold. Well, I'm here to tell you The Lodges did not disappoint. The wedding was a glorious event. The Ladies & the staff are unbelievable. Friendly, helpful, & most importantly knowledgeable. They effortlessly help guide you through your decisions, then cheerfully see to the execution of your plans. Now for nuts & bolts. The food was FANTASTIC !!The service was FANTASTIC!! The venue & accommodations are not only unique but FANTASTIC !! Oh did I forget the scenic views, the lake, the photo ops, & don't forget the bar & grill, that place is right on! Don't think twice, you will LOVE it. Enjoy & Cheers

My husband and I got married at The Lodges in May, and we could not have asked for a more beautiful day or pleasant experience. From start to finish, we felt so cared for by the kind staff at The Lodges. Beth was very responsive and helpful throughout the entire process, from our initial tour to all the coordination leading up to the day. Lisa was wonderful to work with day of, and she helped communicate with the vendors and kept everything on schedule.Some highlights of our day were the horse and carriage, cabins for guests, the bonfire, and the farewell breakfast. It truly did feel like a whole wedding weekend, since many people stayed onsite and attended the farewell breakfast. We appreciated all of the time we had to decorate the space to make it feel unique to us, although it's beautiful on its own. We could not have been happier with the staff, food, venue itself, or experience here and highly recommend The Lodges!

Our daughters wedding was this past Memorial Day weekend. We could not have been happier with the Lodges staff, accommodations, vendors, hospitality, etc.. It was the perfect venue and a perfect weekend. It was nice to have so many friends and family staying onsite with us. That really made it special. It truly was an entire weekend event. Beth was just wonderful and happily responded to our needs, requests, and questions. She took a lot of stress off of the parents, as well as the bride and groom. Lisa was our day-of coordinator and she also did a wonderful job. The horse and carriage is a really nice addition. I would highly recommend it. The post-wedding bonfire on the property was a great way to unwind after the big event. We got a lot of compliments from others about the venue and the service. We would highly recommend the Lodges to others! Thanks again for everything!

Beth is absolutely amazing to work with! She was so responsive to emails and phone calls and we always could rely on her to make sure everything was taken care of. All staff at the Lodges are so friendly and helpful. Even at the date night in March, staff constantly checked on us and made sure we knew that we wouldn't have to worry about anything on the day of the wedding. The venue is gorgeous and we had such happy wedding guests! Would highly recommend and can't wait to go back to visit!

The Lodges at Gettysburg was the perfect place for my wedding! The ceremony and reception were absolutely beautiful, the food was amazing, and the after party bonfire the staff helped with topped off the night! The Lodges hosted a food tasting/preferred vendor night combo approximately 6 months before my wedding, which made it incredibly easy for us to find the vendors we still needed (bakers, hair/makeup, DJ), and all of the vendors they recommended were wonderful as well. The staff was very professional, kind, and helpful. We specifically worked with Beth Senseney for organization/planning up to the day of the event, and Lisa Leonard who was our day-of coordinator. Both Beth and Lisa were great, and I would recommend the Lodges to every couple looking for their fairytale wedding venue.

We were married at the Lodges on September 3rd, 2022. We never knew this place existed, but so glad we found it. Beth and her team are above amazing. One of things that stood out was I was struggling with getting a drink and taking my food to our table. Beth was right there to help. It seemed like she knew exactly where to be and when to be there. Everything was beyond perfect. All the guests said they never had food so good as well. I honestly can't think of anything that I would have changed. Highly recommended.

We are the groom's parents and loved this choice of venue. Staff was responsive and it was a dream to have on site lodging for the bridal party and many of our guests. We did not have to worry about getting to and from for the hair, makeup, photographers, etc. We had a catered lunch in the Game Room lounge, which was fun for the guys. I highly recommend booking a farewell breakfast if possible. It was another highlight of the weekend as everyone could relax and enjoy another meal after a busy wedding day. There were also lots of options to personalize the space, menu, decor, etc., some of which are including in the pricing which is great!

She was great answering our questions in a timely manner and reminding us of things we would have forgotten on our own. We were able to plan a perfect day within our budget without sacrificing details. Everything down to the food was excellent. We would absolutely choose this venue over and over. We were treated like family not just people that were guests for the day.

We had our wedding yesterday at the Lodges and we had such a phenomenal weekend because of them that I couldn’t wait to tell everyone just how amazing the Lodges could be for your wedding event. From moment one working with Beth to plan our wedding was absolutely a seamless process. Their package is wildly inclusive & the pricing is fair & competitive. Our day of coordinator Matia was an actual dream. She made sure our day moved along smoothly and was so attentive and had a calming presence, she is a ROCKSTAR! The bridal suite on site was really beautiful & has a great vibe for photos to be taken. I was also blown away at how quiet that area of the Lodge was on the big day, thus making the morning of feel more relaxed and not so chaotic. The entire staff of the Lodges cares about you and cares about your day, making sure you AND your guests have everything they need. Their accommodations are top notch, and all of our guests couldn’t stop raving about the venue and how beautiful it was and how attentive & kind the staff were. If you’re looking for an all inclusive wedding venue, look no further! 💌🎉

AMAZING!! AWESOME !!! BEAUTIFUL!! My Husband and I got married at The Lodges June 2022. We decided this is the place !! We got engaged here last year and wanted to get married here .. We had a beautiful wedding down by the lake , decorated nicely with the water in the background under the arch. What a fairytale wedding. We even had The Horse and Carriage ride around the lake. We had a small wedding with Family and Friends. Beth was amazing from the beginning!! She listened and understood what we were wanting and fulfilled every little detail for us !! We live so far away that communicating with her was very easy, she even went out of her way to let us know small details that we didn’t even think of. Beth helped us from beginning to end. Our bridal room was convenient and so nice to get ready in. ( what a plus ). We all stayed at the lodges for the week and enjoyed the property and the delicious food !! Hats off to the Chef .. delicious Fish and Steak !! Yum !! The meals were absolutely amazing.. The details in our reception room were perfect !! Love the twinkle lights and the rustic look that we were looking for .. The staff at the lodges are so caring and helpful. They go out of their way to help you with anything!! Thank you !! The lodges was a blessing and we will definitely be back !! Perfect Wedding !! Perfect Staff , and you were awesome Beth !! Thank you for all your hard work and making us the happiest couple ever !!

We have nothing but great things to say about The Lodges at Gettysburg! Beth and her team made our day a dream. They listen to your every need and make your dreams come true. When we first saw the property, we knew that we would be saying our vows down by the lake. The amenities are perfect for small or large weddings. We had our welcome dinner, ceremony, and reception onsite. The food was amazing, the packages are fairly priced, the lodging was very accommodating for our out of town guests, the views are tranquil, and the staff is beyond helpful. We never had a doubt that our day would be short of amazing.

My husband and I got married at the Lodges in January 2022 and had the most amazing winter wedding. The Lodges exceeded our expectations by far. The grounds are beautiful and perfect for pictures (especially in the winter). Beth is amazing!! From the day we toured the Lodges till the day we got married she was super helpful with everything we needed and answering all our questions. The reception room is amazing and the perfect place to personalize with whatever your wedding vibe is. The Lodges offers an exceptional winter wedding package that includes so much and completely takes the stress out of coordinating with multiple different vendors. Plus, the food was amazing!! The Lodges (cabins) on site are super nice and extremely convenient to stay the night before and the night of your wedding and great for guests to stay in as well! The Lodges is the best wedding venue in Gettysburg, PA. they will help you make the wedding of your dreams become a reality! Book them as your venue-- you won't be disappointed!

We are blessed that in choosing the Lodges at Gettysburg for our venue, we found Beth, Kayla, and Bob! We are still in awe when we look back on everything they did for us to help prepare our wedding. Their flexibility, attention to detail, and experience in the industry are just a few things that stand out about our experience with the Lodges. Our coordinators, Beth and Kayla were prompt in their response times and did everything in their power to help us save money. The Lodges caterer, Great American caterers, owned by Bob, was fantastic! The portion sizes were great for our PA dutch family, and the food was a hit. Overall, the best thing we did was choose the Lodges for our wedding venue!

The Lodges at Gettysburg proved to be the perfect place for our wedding reception. The view from the Lodges made us fall for the venue and we were glad that we hosted the event here. It was a great experience from beginning itself, as Beth helped and guided us at every step to keep our event within the budget and yet have the best experience. Luckily for us, the fall colors were at its peak on the day of our event and it looked gorgeous. Our event manager Matia and other staff members were really helpful and ensured that the event was organized in a smooth manner. Another great feature at the venue were the lodges (rooms), which were really spacious, comfortable and artistic. Nona assisted with all our guests reservations, and we did not even had to look into it. Everything at the Lodges was well managed and executed. Only downside was that due to Covid-19, breakfast and lunch was not available at the venue. The Lodges at Gettysburg undoubtedly provides the perfect gateway to host your wedding and would strongly recommend it to my family and friends.

Planning a wedding from AZ was not the easiest thing to do but having Beth, Kayla, and vendors from The Lodges preferred vendor list made all the difference. We looked through a few venues online, but quickly knew this was the place for us. It felt comfortable from the pictures alone and we love the area. Our vendors and Lodge staff pulled together to make our wedding experience exactly what we wanted. We were able to visit the venue a few months prior to the wedding and it just confirmed everything we hoped for. We had our ceremony inside and everything looked great. If you can schedule yours during some warmer weather the outside ceremony space couldn't be more perfect. Might not be for everyone but we found it beautiful. The separate cocktail hour space had the perfect vibe and we were able to join our guests before introductions. That brings me to the bartender. If you didn't know what you wanted, you found out pretty quickly as he seemed to know that if you wanted a cranberry vodka that just meant you haven't tried an upside down pineapple something or other. Everyone enjoyed his skills and professionalism. Now for the reception. The vendors have worked together multiple times which made things work without everyone coming to us for questions all night. The meals were very tasty and got many thumbs up from our guests. You will see highly decorated reception room photos online but this room doesn't need much to make it look beautiful. We didn't have flowers on tables and only had our DJ's effects plus some extra touches that our families pulled together. The Lodges provides centerpieces that have just enough character and charm to get the job done. Keep it simple, save some money, and let the room do the work. It really did feel comfortable and classy. Our package included a sparkler send off that The Lodges organized completely and coordinated with our photographer. Perfect way to almost end the evening and get some cool photos. I say almost because our package also included a bonfire from 8pm-10pm. Some guests headed for their lodges but many gathered around the fire to share stories and enjoy some coffee and hot chocolate. Even though it was weather-permitting and there was slight drizzle, The Lodges made it happen. We said our good nights and headed to the Michigan Lodge for our wedding night which was also part of the package for one night. Loved this lodge!! All our guests stayed at several lodges on the property and we got to see most of them. There are several different configurations that make it easy for families to share different spaces. Some had 3 rooms with multiple sleeping options in each. The lodges have a lodge atmosphere. Might see a bug or two and maybe every corner didn’t get the white glove treatment but they were cleaner than some of the rooms in my home. No issues at all with cleanliness and everything worked. Plenty of hot water and these really cool electric fireplaces. Almost forgot…the standard grooms room where we were supposed to get ready was being remodeled so we were given the upgrade room which had a pool table and some other touches that made that time a little easier to relax before the ceremony. The bride's room had the same comfort and class to provide for all those perfect wedding pics. A few extra touches is all that is needed to give it your own personality and flare. Make this venue your spot and you can rest easy that your wedding day will turn out amazing.

We had our ceremony and reception at the Lodges. They were FANTASTIC! The Lodges took care of so many details, coordinated the day (Thanks, Lisa!!), connected us with other vendors, had AMAZING food, and was all around the perfect venue. We cannot say enough good things about the Lodges, Beth, and Lisa. We loved working with them and are so glad we had our wedding there!

We got married at the lodges in October. It is definitely a beautiful place. All our guest said how much they liked it and said how nice of a place it was. A couple things I was not a fan of was a lot of things I said I wanted when I first met to look at the venue they changed. when I came in to talk about the wedding closer to the time they told me what I wanted I could not do. Also the night before the wedding we did rent the two big rooms 8 person each one for the girls and one for the boys in the wedding. These room we would say were not the cleanest. Lots of spider webs and bugs in the room. The day of the wedding was very crazy and when one of my girl went to find the day of coordinator they said she was not there and also kind of gave her an attitude. The coordinator did not show up till 1 pm and she had things we needed for our photos. After the wedding we ended up getting rushed to hurry up and get in and seated to be able to eat. When they told us to go eat me and my husband went to get food and it was not even ready. We had to wait another 15-20 minutes. I feel like we could have took more photos or just had more time to just take a break before having to walk into the reception. It was a nice place but very rushed and not everything that I would have wanted it to be.

Could not have asked for a better wedding venue. My husband and I fell in love with the Lodges when we first visited in 2019 - ballroom is beautiful; cabins on site make for an incredibly low-maintenance weekend for guests to relax and hang out; rustic touches were perfect; and nearly everything was included, from bar to catering to a day-of wedding coordinator. (Seriously, the day-of coordinator inclusion is rare and wonderful - especially because they REALLY know what they are doing at the Lodges!). When COVID threw all plans for a wrench, our decision to go with the Lodges was only further validated - they worked with us through two reschedulings and pulled off the most perfect \"belated reception.\"

Everything about the Lodges was absolutely amazing! We looked at several venues and chose the Lodges for our Sep 5th 2021 wedding ceremony because they offered everything we needed, on-site, for our event and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I think this is one of the most important things to consider when planning an event. We loved the setting and the rustic elegance. We visited Gettysburg many times and never knew The Lodges existed. Truly a hidden gem. I have to say the on-site Lodging for the guests were absolutely perfect and the Bride and Groom's suite was gorgeous. The Wedding Event Package included your Bride and Groom suite for your wedding night, spa service credit for hair and make-up, bride and groom's room for day of dressing/ preparations, table settings, linens, your wedding cake of choice if selected from the preferred vendor list, champagne toast, and your wedding coordinator, Beth, who was extremely accommodating from the start. She promptly answered my million questions and was always pleasant and helpful. THANK YOU BETH FOR BEING THE BEST WEDDING COORDINATOR!!! We planned our wedding during COVID and selected all of vendors from their preferred vendors list without meeting them in person and they were all amazing!!! We included the Horse drawn Carriage Ride and the Doves for Love, and this truly made our wedding magically, despite the off and on rain. Lisa, our day of coordinator, was awesome in pulling this off! THANK YOU LISA FOR MAKING THIS HAPPEN!!! We also had many compliments on just what a beautiful wedding it was, from the WOW reception room, compliments to the Chef for the absolutely amazing crab dip appetizer, the delicious entrees, and compliments to the cake baker for the Best Cake Ever!!! The staff at at the Lodges also made a Special Signature Drink at my request and was a hit and complimented by many guests! I can't say enough good things about the Lodges. It was truly an absolutely great day and the staff helped make this happen!! THANK YOU FOR HELPING TO MAKE THIS THE BEST DAY EVER!!! We definitely will be back again and possibly for our anniversary. We highly recommend the Lodges for your Wedding Venue!!!

We fell in love with The Lodges as soon as we arrived. Not only is it a beautiful venue but Beth was warm and welcoming from the start. We had originally planned to get married in December of 2022, but when a job opportunity presented itself on the west coast my now husband and I decided to get married in September of 2021 before we moved. The Lodges not only made it possible to plan a wedding in three months during a pandemic but they made the experience enjoyable. Beth and her entire team were responsive and extremely accommodating. Lisa was our day of coordinator who was also wonderful and helped the day go so smoothly. I could not have imagined a more perfect day or place to get married!!

Perfect wedding venue!! We had planned our wedding during COVID which was a scary thought - but Beth, Denise and the whole staff at the lodges always made us feel we were in good hands. Throughout the planning Beth was literally always available. I think I emailed her 29472 times a day and she was always ready to answer questions and help with any planning details. She coordinated with all our vendors with ease and also helped with all the booking of our large guest list. From the couples night tasting, to the free cake, great décor and overall service it was top notch. All of our guests loved the wedding. I would recommend this venue to anyone. It provided the perfect space for the whole weekend. The lodges were clean and comfortable. The food was also incredible. Thank you all so much for being the best host for our wedding!! <3

I cannot begin to express how happy I am with everything that the Lodges at Gettysburg did for us. My husband and I booked the Lodges as our venue in June 2020 for our October 2021. From booking, Beth was there the entire way to help us plan out our day and answer questions for us! Beth provided us with a list of preferred vendors and we picked all of our vendors from the list! Everyone was amazing and the Lodges also offers a spa credit when purchasing a reception package! We had most of our family and wedding party stay at the lodges on property for the wedding weekend which made the experience so great since we were able to hang out with everyone before, during, and after our celebration. At the reception, the food was SO GOOD and all of our guests are still talking about it! The service and staff were all so friendly and helpful and we really felt loved and special on our day. They made us feel at home and it felt more special than your typical wedding venue. We absolutely loved our day and I couldn't have imagined going anywhere else! Beth, thank you so, so much for everything you did for us and thank you to your wonderful team! We will definitely be back to stay soon!

Before going on venue tours I had done extensive research online to find a venue that matched all of our criteria-woodsy, decently affordable within our budget, overnight lodging that was not a hotel, allowed our dog onsite, and not too far from home. The Lodges met all of our criteria and much more!! The Lodges was the only venue we ended up touring because we loved it so much, and we booked the day after touring! Some of the perks that I learned along the booking process was that we received a “free” cake if we used one of their preferred vendors, a credit towards one of their preferred spas, a lodge for the two of us the night after the wedding included (with an extra meal from the wedding and cake, and champagne and flower petals included in the room!), and much more. Booking with the Lodges made it not only a special day, but a full wedding weekend! Since there was not a wedding the day before ours Beth allowed me to do some early setting up which I appreciated SO much and made the wedding more much less stressful. We also were able to have our wedding rehearsal dinner, bonfire after dinner he reception, the majority of guests staying overnight in cabins on-site, and morning after the wedding brunch at the Lodges which made it so fun and also made it easy for our out of town party members to be able to stay onsite for the full weekend. The night before the wedding all of my bridesmaids stayed in a cabin which was so much fun and I loved waking up at our wedding venue. I had many questions and requests leading up to the wedding (being in the wedding industry and my natural detail oriented nature lol!) which Beth always responded to quickly and kindly. The day of the wedding the staff (Nona, Matia, Beth, and more) were all so attentive, helpful, excited, and professional. I also greatly appreciated that their staff moved my wedding decor from the ceremony to the reception! The food and drinks for the whole weekend were also absolutely delicious. So many guests commented that the venue was absolutely “perfect” for us as a couple and I couldn’t agree! We are so grateful to have found this hidden woodsy gem in Gettysburg and I will continue to recommend it to my friends and clients! Thank you Beth and the rest of the Lodges team!!

The Lodges at Gettysburg was absolutely amazing to work with! Our wedding was on May 8th, 2021. Beth Senseney was incredible at keeping us in the loop with all the planning, we also live an hour and a half away and she had no problem finalizing details over the phone. We had scheduling conflicts with the lodge for the night before the wedding, they were very generous and upgraded the lodge and comped the room. They let us set up the night before the wedding too! Working with Suzy was amazing. It was raining off and on the day of the wedding and she left if completely up to us whether we wanted to move it inside or keep it outside even up until last minute. She tracked people down for us and made everything so easy on the wedding day. I would 100% recommend the Lodges for all weddings, it is absolutely gorgeous and all the staff were so amazing! The front desk staff even helped us with set up the night before.

We had to make last minute changes to our seating chart and Beth took care of everything. The food was wonderful and our guests really enjoyed their Lodges. Though we didn’t get to have our bonfire after because of rain, the staff delivered our pizzas to my father and we had a great after party in our lodge. The accommodations were perfect, the food was delicious, the space was exactly the right size, the details were flawless, and EVERYONE THERE IS SO NICE. If you are planning an event in the Gettysburg Area, please, please, do yourself and your guests a favor, and spend some time at the Lodges. With Covid being a stress, Beth made our day possible and absolutely made every detail a reality. The chef was absolutely amazing with our rehearsal dinner, wedding dinner and DELICIOUS omelet breakfast the following morning. I can't say enough about the front desk staff as well, with making sure rooms were ready early for my guests. Altogether the whole experience was stress-free and made the weekend all we could have hoped for. Thank you so much, Beth and all your staff! We will absolutely be back!

This venue was absolutely amazing for our ceremony and our reception! The outside ceremony space made for gorgeous pictures and the inside ballroom was breathtaking! My coordinators, Beth and Lisa, were both fantastic in making sure everything went smoothly for our wedding day! I’ve gotten so many compliments on the space as a whole, as well as the food! The bridal show you also get to attend in March is so helpful in finding any vendors you still need as well! I found both my DJ and officiant there and they were amazing as well! Definitely recommend this to anyone looking for the perfect venue!

Wow I'm not even sure where to start! All around wonderful experience. 10/30/20 covid bride! Beth was wonderful from the beginning. We fell in love with the Lodges back Dec 2019, we were able to have a week to decide if this was the place we wanted to go with which was great! You really can't beat the Lodges with water front ceremony and indoor back up options, the ballroom, guys and girls getting ready rooms and the lodges so you and all your guests can stay the night at a discount! The Wedding package included so many extra! tables, linens, center pieces, table numbers, free spa credits, if you choose one of the bakeries they recommend, its included in the price! Plus so many fun extras! They have a Date Night for couples to try the food and with all the recommended vendors that they provide. (of course you can choose your own) Beth was available every step of the way through all my constant emails and questions. When Covid hit and things had to change Beth emailed us right away and already had a plan in motion. They set up a large tent! I never had to change my date and when it got closer the restrictions changed and was able to have my wedding inside. They had so much safety measures in place to keep everyone safe and happy. Sadly some of my guest weren't able after I already gave my count to the caterer, but I let Beth know and they were able to box up the extra meals for me so we could take them home the next day! The food was wonderful from the Carriage House Inn! After the wedding my husband and I went to our Lodge and waiting for us was some of our desserts (from Stone House Bakery- Yum!) food from the reception and a bottle of champagne! We were definitely spoiled. I can't thank Beth and everyone else at the Lodges for helping make my dream wedding come true! From start to finish it was the best day ever! You honestly can't go wrong if you have your wedding here!

Beth and the team at The Lodges at Gettysburg made it so much better. We were making changes due to local restrictions, guests changing their RSVPs at the last minute, extra safety measures we wanted to put into place, etc. up until literally the week of the wedding, and they were so flexible and put me at ease through it all.It was important to me and my guests that everyone was safe, but was still able to celebrate our day. They truly went above and beyond for me to make sure that was accomplished.The Lodges at Gettysburg makes planning your event so easy. They include virtually everything you need for your day of, their staff is amazing, and they have a fantastic network of vendors they work with that provided everything else I needed for the perfect day. They have the cutest on-site lodging that is so unique. All that for truly the best value in this area.The staff made the day of such a breeze. I don't even know where to start with all the wonderful things about this venue - with our Halloween wedding, we knew we wanted somewhere that took advantage of the beautiful fall foliage but also had on-site accommodations (all of our guests would be traveling in for the wedding). The Lodges was the perfect answer for both - theyre tucked out in the middle of the woods and the view of the mountains from the ceremony site on the pond is so stunningly beautiful, and we got especially lucky with all the fall colors still on the trees on a beautiful clear day. The cabins on site are also beautifully put together and very cozy, we were exhausted after the wedding but that was some of the best sleep we'd had in a while, and the champagne in the room was such a lovely touch! All of the staff were wonderful as well, Beth was absolutely integral in bringing this all together - Carson described her as the lynchpin in this whole ordeal and he's absolutely spot-on. That we were able to pull all this together in the middle of a pandemic and keep everyone safe and healthy in the process is an absolute triumph, and we wouldn't have been able to make that happen without her, she was so good about listening to our concerns and helping us arrange a solution that would be comfortable for all our guests. On the day-of she was absolutely on top of the game (or so I'm told), right in the thick of it all with my now-husband and my mother, pulling everything together until Susie took over for the event. Susie was a dream as well, everything went so smoothly and any hiccups that came up during the event were quickly and efficiently ironed out, I never spent more than a minute worrying about any one thing before she'd resolved it and sent us off on our way to enjoy the evening. The waitstaff was amazing as well, our guests had lovely things to say about them all. Unsurprisingly, we also heard a lot of praise for \"my boy Kolton\" behind the bar, especially from the friends who kept a drink in our hands all night (we appreciate them and appreciate you, Kolton). Also, shout out to Stewart for braving the frigid cold night to take care of the bonfire for us, it was the perfect way to end the evening and that there was still a golf cart running people up and down was so greatly appreciated by our guests. The front desk staff was also wonderful - thank you girls for putting up with all our dumb requests, and thank you Nona for helping bring everything together and taking care of our guests! The Lodges were absolutely perfect for our wedding and gave us an amazing celebration that people have continued to praise us for - if you're looking for a venue that goes above and beyond, please take the time to visit these wonderful people at this beautiful location!

My husband and I got married at the Lodges on 10/10/2020 and we are so happy that we did! We found the Lodges through The Knot and probably would have never found it without it! With all of the confusion and worry that this year brought, due to COIVD-19, we never thought that we could have still had the wedding of our dreams. But despite everything, Beth and Suzie at the Lodges worked to make our dreams come true! Beth was so accommodating over the entire year of our engagement and showed that she truly cared about us. She stayed up to date on restrictions that were in place because of COVID and when things changed she let us know right away. We had to move our reception outside under a tent due to the restrictions, but they made the tent beautiful and in the end I couldn't have imagined it any other way! Suzie helped the rehearsal and the day itself be beautiful and go smoothly! And, in addition to both of them, the entire staff at the Lodges were so kind and welcoming the entire weekend. The ceremony site in front of the pond was absolutely gorgeous. Also, the cabins were beautiful and it was so fun being able to stay the weekend at the Lodges and not have to travel anywhere else. We are so thankful for all that the staff did to make our wedding amazing! We definitely recommend getting married at the Lodges at Gettysburg!

When searching for a wedding venue we came across the Lodges at Gettysburg. When touring the area, we saw they had pet friendly lodges and lodges where guest could stay. We loved how there was a pond with a fountain at the ceremony site. They offer golf cart rides to the pond for your guests. Beth at the lodges helped me plan my wedding day. She was quick to respond to my emails and questions. She set up “Date Night” back in March which helped you pick different vendors and try food catered by the Carriage House Inn. We had a great time and the food was delicious. Beth helped us during the rehearsal before our wedding day. On our wedding day, she helped us set up and clean up after. She did an amazing job with everything! Wedding planning during COVID was challenging and the lodges was safe and followed the governs orders. They set up a tent outside so you could still have your reception. Originally our reception was going to be in the ballroom. The tables at our reception stayed the same. I loved the view and how our floating candles looked as the sun went down. You do not get that view in the ballroom. The groom and groomsmen loved the new Gloryridge Game Suite with the pool table. Our wedding was beautiful and was so fleeting. I would not have chosen a different venue.

We were supposed to get married in June of 2020 but unfortunately, with COVID19, we had to reschedule. Of course it was a difficult time for many of us but Beth made it as seamless as possible. She was extremely helpful every step of the way and was always quick to answer my questions (of which there were quite a few considering the times). Even when the gathering guidelines kept changing, we always had a plan. We ended up having our reception outdoors in a very large tent to adhere to the state guidelines. While it wasn't what we originally planned, it turned out perfect! I couldn't have asked for a better location or coordinator for our wedding!*a little bit of advice however, if you know more than a week ahead of the wedding that guests have changed their mind about attending, tell Beth ASAP. Some of our guests decided more last minute due to the state of the virus and we weren't able to get a refund for their food or bar tab. We just ended up taking their meal home in to-go boxes...

My husband and I were married right at the beginning of the Pandemic on March 14, 2020 as you can imagine, a lot of unknowns and nervousness if the wedding would happen and what it would look like - but those were our nerves not Beths! Our cooordinator,Beth, was AMAZING throughout the entire process, but stepped up in further in relaxing me and my family as we navigated the unknown!Our wedding went off without a hitch thanks to Beth and her team. She communicates promptly with a smile, working to meet all our requests and her staff delivered! The entire way from the wait staff and bartenders to the front desk attendants who welcomed with a smile and encouragement and rooting us on. Nothing short of an AMAZING experience- don’t miss out!!

We got married at The Lodges in October 2019. Everyone was incredibly friendly and overall the day was very low stress. Beth was fantastic to work with and everything was planned in advance. She was able to answer our questions and was always very kind and professional. The other staff (front desk, waiters, bartenders, etc) was just as friendly and helpful. Everyone was so genuinely friendly and excited for our day. The only downside to the entire day was that another bridal party was scheduled to do their rehearsal during our photos, so our photographer had to ask them several times to move. Additionally that wedding party moved several of the decor at the alter that we had decorated, resulting in my bridal party rushing to fix it right before the ceremony. Honestly, at the time it didn’t bother me too much bc I was so happy to be getting married to my husband and my photographer was incredible and took charge, but in hindsight, I should’ve addressed the situation immediately. Had I, I’m confident that it would have been addressed swiftly. The food that was catered by the on site caterer was delicious and beautifully presented. The room and ambiance was perfect. And of course, the Lodges themselves were gorgeous! I would 100% recommend The Lodges for any wedding or big event. They were so welcoming and helpful, which was perfect for my husband and I.

We had the wonderful opportunity to get married at The Lodges in October of 2019 and all I can say was that it was an absolute dream come true!!! Every detail is planned for, every worry is calmed, and every question is answered. Before the actual event, I was a bride with about 1,000 questions (sorry Beth!) and she always answered my emails timely, happily, and was beyond understanding! She also met with us to plan every step of the day out and ensured that each detail was exactly how we pictured it. She also made sure to offer a variety of options for decorations, placements, setups, times, colors, and much much more. The organization that goes into a wedding is crazy, but Beth takes it all on with a smile on her face! We had our rehearsal dinner, ceremony, reception, and morning after breakfast there and received so many compliments on the way everything ran so smoothly, the AMAZING food that was served, and the beautiful lodges that many stayed in - not to mention the area is just fantastic! They use golf carts to aid with getting people from the ceremony to the reception and truly made sure everyone was taken care of. As a couple, the one thing we are always told is how we won't get to eat on our wedding day - The Lodges makes sure that's not true! We had our own private appetizers together and (although we ate at our reception) also had both of our meals and a bit of dessert left in our actual lodge after the wedding with champagne! Although this was such a small thing, it truly made the end of the night that much more special and we loved being able to enjoy the food we had picked out. The breakfast the next day allowed us the chance to say goodbye to our guests and still had such sweet and thoughtful touches. There was not a single worker there that was not willing to help in every way possible with a smile and I will forever be grateful that I was able to relax and enjoy my wedding completely! I would have my wedding here over and over and I cannot wait to return for anniversaries in the future!

We first stayed at The Lodges at Gettysburg for our One Year Anniversary. It was too soon for us to discuss things like marriage and a wedding, but as we strolled through the breathtaking grounds, taking in the stunning sight of the lake, we both said to each other that we could definitely picture exchanging vows at that very spot. A couple of years later, Chris asked for my hand in marriage and immediately the questions started; when's the big day? did you find your dress? what colors are you considering? We had absolutely no answers except for one: we would be getting married at The Lodges at Gettysburg. We didn't look anywhere else, the moment we started planning, we sent an email to The Lodges and instantly were contacted with answers, packages, and collateral to consider. I cannot say this enough: Beth was an absolute pleasure to work with! She answered every single one of my questions quickly, accurately, and calmed all of my concerns throughout the entire process! Even though we live three hours away, the planning process was pain free. She kept us on schedule, provided suggestions, coordinated her team, and overall made our wedding as stress free as possible. This was both of our first weddings, but I've helped my friends in planning their big days, and in my opinion, The Lodges at Gettysburg made EVERYTHING easy and pain-free. The Bridal Show we attended was an essential and delightful part of the process. The food was delicious, the vendors were awesome, and we were able to take care of 75% of the decisions just from this one event. Everything from table and chair rentals, to florists and make up artists, to food and drink, to ceremony accessories and live bird rentals, to even the numbers for the tables can be coordinated with The Lodges at Gettysburg, and honestly I don't know what we would have done without the connections they provided for us. In the very, very beginning, I was concerned about how many things I'd be able to make myself, but honestly, having Beth and the Lodges at Gettysburg handle the majority of those ideas made for a much more relaxed and perfect event for everyone involved. Not to mention that their pricing is beyond fair for the amount of work and stress it eliminates from the already hectic wedding planning process.Every single one of our guests told us how amazing their experiences were with the check in process, the lodges themselves, the food, drinks, and with each member of their team. Though the weather literally put a damper on our fireside movie party, (seriously consider this for your event!) The Lodges at Gettysburg team was able to accommodate our party and we had a wonderful time hanging out together and enjoying the stunning views anywhere we went. Our family and friends loved the beauty of being in a beautiful countryside setting with the convenience of being just a few minutes outside of historic Gettysburg. Our group even mentioned coming back for a family reunion in the future! All in all, I could go on and on and on forever about how absolutely spectacular our wedding was, how much of a pleasure it was to work with Beth, Denise, Nona, and all of the team members that helped us, and how completely beautiful this location is. Our pictures are incredible, our family had an excellent time, our rehearsal dinner, ceremony, and reception went well and were a blast, and our memories are absolutely perfect. We are ecstatic with how everything turned out, and would not change one thing!

The staff are amazing and will make sure your day is exactly how you want it; they will meet special requests. The location has a perfect view of Gettysburg as well as perfect spots for photos. The wedding coordinator kept constant communication with me throughout the entire planning and day of process. We were on a specific budget as well and The Lodges offered several different package deals that were affordable and customizable to our needs and wants! My day couldn't have been any better! This was my dream wedding venue! It is the first and only venue we looked at because I fell in love with it! My husband and I have a special connection with Gettysburg, so it made it even better that it is in Gettysburg! From the very beginning, the Lodges staff was amazing! They have a bridal show every year so you can meet with their preferred vendors. Also, if you book your wedding there, they have a date night in the winter for everyone getting married that year. It is the day before their public bridal show, so you can privately meet with the vendors. You also get to try and pick out the appetizers and dinner that you want at your wedding. The staff was amazing the day of our wedding! They helped us with anything we needed and went above and beyond. Beth, the main wedding coordinator, was amazing throughout the entire planning process. She is so professional and organized. Nicole, our day of coordinator was amazing also! Anything that we needed, she took care of! We got nothing but compliments from all of our guests about the venue. I highly recommend booking your wedding with them!!

Our wedding date was May 12, 2019. It took me a few months to write this review due to such a busy schedule and personal reasons. Anyways, The lodges at Gettysburg are AMAZING! I had done research on so many venues and none of them met the criteria until I found this venue. I am originally from Canada as well as my family so we knew we needed a venue that included ceremony, reception, and lodging all on one property for the convenience of our guests. When we toured this venue I was blown away. It is such a naturally beautiful wedding site I knew I did not want to get married anywhere else. Plus this venue offers SO much with the price. They have prices that will work with anyone's price range. It can be cheaper depending on what day of the week you pick and also can have a discounted price dependent on how many guests book lodges. The cake is included, table linens, complimentary glass of champagne during dinner service,day of coordinator, $$ towards the salon on site and so much more! The catering company also has a plethora of food options to fit anyone's budget. ( side note: the food was delicious and received a lot of compliments from guests) Same can be said with the bar options. We booked it right away. Between December 2017 when we booked the venue to our wedding day May 12, 2019 our coordinator Beth was nothing short of amazing. She is very patient, kind and understanding. She truly cares about each bride and groom and wants the wedding day to be special and perfect. Every time I had a question or concern or was stressed out she was there to answer it all and support me. Without her I would have been a complete mess the entire planning process. When the wedding day came the ENTIRE staff at the lodges was superb. They made sure our guests rooms were ready early. The food and drinks for the bridal suite was served on time and was delicious and plentiful. The weather on our wedding day was rainy. Which no bride wants to have but the staff of the lodges ,especially our day of coordinator Susie, teamed up with the decor company and the day turned out beautifully. During the dinner service the first plates that were served to the bridal table had incorrect food ( wrong sauce over the steak) but I notified the catering staff immediately and the next plate and the following plates to come out were correct. So props to them! The catering staff was very timely and efficient with bringing the food to our guests and removing the dishes. And the bar staff was very very good at the drink orders and making sure our guests had a blast. All of the guests commented on how they loved the lodges and how gorgeous the property is as well as the reception area. It was the best day of my life and 10/10 recommend The Lodges at Gettysburg to everyone!

Our favorite things about this venue- the views, the people we worked with, the lodges themselves, and the fact that so much is included! The venue itself is just beautiful. We had a lot of out-of-towners, so the lodges was perfect. Every single person was wonderful to work with, especially the coordinator, Beth. She answered any questions we had and was so flexible. The packages they offer are affordable and include a lot more than any other venue. The Lodges & Carriage house supplies us with everything we needed from linens & silverware to a delicious three course meal and the cake was supplied by one of their preferred vendors. I can say that our wedding day was perfect!

Everything was coordinated very well and followed the timed schedule. The venue itself looked great! All of the staff were so friendly through this whole experience. I know I had several questions leading up to the wedding, and I always got answers pretty quickly along with any explanations I needed from Beth Senseney! Our wedding coordinator, Susie, made sure we had two meals and some of our cupcakes stocked in the fridge of our lodge waiting for us! Couldn't have asked for a better place to have our wedding.

June 29, 2019I cannot express enough gratitude to The Lodges at Gettysburg for everything they did to make our wedding EXACTLY how we hoped for despite some changes that needed to be made at the last minute. From the start, we fell in love with The Lodges and all it had to offer. It was the first wedding venue we viewed out of 8 and nothing topped the value. The add on options such as the horse and carriage, bonfire, and also being able to have a honeymoon suite the night of the wedding were what made The Lodges stand out.Beth was amazing from our first communication. She answered emails promptly, professionally, and with high energy. We love Beth!As far as the day of the wedding, I loved being able to relax and spend time in the Bridal Suite with my girls the morning of the wedding. We ordered mimosas and the lunch buffet from their Suite Snacks Menu. It was wonderful. I also love that they have chairs like you are in a salon, for a true beauty treatment. Everything was set to be on schedule until a storm rolled in about an hour and 15 minutes before the wedding ceremony. THIS is when the Lodges really make themselves stand out from many other wedding venues you will find in the area. Beth, Denise, and the rest of the staff at the Lodges and Carriage House were willing to switch the ceremony and the cocktail hour so we could let the storm pass and we would still be able to have our dream outdoor ceremony. It was hard work for them and they could have easily said \"sorry you have to have the ceremony inside,\" but they genuinely want to do EVERYTHING in their power to make your day as you planned. They took plowers down to dry the area, fixed the chairs and even pushed down branches from the trees out of the way with their hands so the path was clear for the horse and carriage. At the ceremony, you would have never known that a torrential downpour had come through an hour earlier. It was perfect and everyone was in awe of the horse and carriage entrance. Everyone had a great time at the reception and enjoyed the food prepared by the Carriage House. After the reception, we had a bonfire for those who booked a room at the Lodges for that night. This was another thing that I did not think was going to happen because of the rain, but once again they made it happen. Ultimately everyone raved about our wedding. We had so many people tell us how beautiful The Lodges was and that we were trend setters for having the cocktail hour first. Additionally, we had several people tell us that our wedding was the best wedding they had ever been too and that credit goes to Beth, Denise, The Carriage House, and all the staff that bent over backwards for us. My husband and I are truly over the moon with how perfect our day was. The perfect start to our perfect forever. So if you haven't booked the Lodges for your perfect day, what are you waiting for?

Want to have FUN and not worry about anything? Book The Lodges for your wedding!My husband and I are so happy that we chose the Lodges for our July 5 wedding. Looking back, we weren't really thinking when we decided to have our wedding on the weekend of the reenactments! It was FABULOUS though! It really ended up being like a destination wedding for our guests. We had our rehearsal and rehearsal dinner on July 4 - we were able to decorate and the tavern was open for our guests. We did the picnic package and Beth let us do some customizing for the kids. Food was fabulous (by Carriage House) and Beth even coordinated a cake to surprise a birthday guest! Guests were able to hang out all night - even see some fireworks & we did our own sparklers. Our guests loved that they had their own lodges and could spend the weekend touring Gettysburg. The rooms that the bride and groom get ready in are amazing. My hair and makeup women LOVED the light, the chairs, the room in general. My photographer was able to capture some really fun photos in the room, too. We were able to do a first look right on property and then hop in our car and run over to Sachs Bridge (right past the reenactors!) to do some fun pictures on the covered bridge. It's like 3 minutes away and makes for a beautiful photo. Back to the Lodge and I could do touch ups and Nicole was ready to whisk me down to the lake for the ceremony. I heard from several wedding guests that the folks doing golf cart transportation were amazing (thank you!). The ceremony was amazing and perfect and we had perfect timing because cannons and fireworks were going off from the reenactments! Definitely made everyone laugh. Since it was going to be so hot, I wanted slushees (frose' specifically), so the Lodges rented a giant slushee machine for me (2 sides and everything). We had pina coladas and froses. It was a total hit and the guests loved them. If you have an idea of something you want to do, talk to Beth- she will probably make it happen! We were introduced from the mezzanine. DO IT! Don't tell anyone you are coming in that way, though because you want everyone to be surprised. The only person that knew was our DJ. It was so lovely to be able to stand up there and watch everyone come in, be seated and then I got to see all of our bridal party come in! So special! The food at the reception was awesome (yes- I even got to eat!) and I loved our sweetheart table with the little lights underneath. We did minimal decorating because the Lodges does everything- so we used the Lodges vases and put flowers in (they even supply the candles) and we did our own table numbers, but we probably didn't even need to. We had our sparkler send-off (YAY!). Do that, too!Unfortunately, mother nature unleashed a crazy rain storm during dinner which washed out the bonfire area. So, our pinterest worthy s'mores set up was going to be cancelled. BUT, someone (I think it was the security guard or Nicole) set up the cutest little sterno fire pit on the patio for our s'mores! Thank you to whoever went the extra mile for us. That was awesome. I seriously didn't want the night to end. We had the best time. If anything went wrong, I didn't know about it. It was just FUN! I used many of the Lodges preferred vendors, so I think that helped with the timing and the ease of the ceremony & reception since they had worked together before. Bottom line - our wedding was FUN and the planning was not stressful!

The Lodges was the second venue my husband and I visited. Once we met Beth and team, toured the property and learned more about their packages, we knew we found our place. The setting is a lovely, rural property with lots of greenery and hills - it feels like a nice getaway from reality. From the time we booked our date, a year and a half in advance of the wedding, Beth and team answered every call and email with kindness and enthusiasm. I greatly appreciated Beth's thorough responses and coordination. It was great to have the catering already handled through Carriage House Inn, as well as the cake, linens, tableware, etc. included. Although we had a church ceremony, the reception went seamlessly. The staff handled everything behind the scenes with no hiccups. Our guests had nothing but great things to say about their experience, from the food to the accommodations to the setting itself. One of our favorite parts was the bonfire, where our guests could join us after the reception ended and enjoy some s'mores. I am so glad we picked The Lodges for a unique and charming wedding day - we have amazing memories and photos to relive our experience. I recommend The Lodges to any couple - you will not regret it!

The location is perfect (probably the best views around), every single staff member is there to assist constantly during your event, and OMG the food!! All of our guests were blown away with the location, food, execution of the day, and the amount of flexibility the Lodges offer. We just got married yesterday at this venue and we were compelled to write a review ASAP. So do yourself a favor, if you want to do your wedding or event right, book with the Lodges. The Lodges at Gettysburg was only the second venue my now wife and I visited, but the moment we were on the property we knew we'd found the one. The venue itself is situated on a hill surrounded by farm land which offers a fantastic scenic view of the countryside, perfect for pictures. Add to that, the convenience of on site accommodations and multiple ceremony location options; this venue really has it all. Throughout the entire planning and day of process the team at the Lodges was helpful and professional. They helped make our day perfect, what more could you ask for?

We cannot thank The Lodges at Gettysburg enough for making all our wedding dreams come true. First, the ceremony space is absolutely beautiful! It was the most perfect spot for an outdoor wedding. There is a ton of greenery and trees nearby that allow for the prettiest pictures to be taken. My dad and I walked from the top all the way down to the ceremony space (which was so nice to have an extra long walk) and I heard from guests that it was so beautiful with how the light was shining and the trees (one guest said that even she started tearing up!). The venue itself is so beautiful. You could honestly do the most minimal decorations and it would still be gorgeous. We loved that we were able to bring our own decorations so that it made it extra special and uniquely us. We were allowed to put a sign up on one of the beams (we weren't sure at first if we could because we had to use a nail and hammer it but they were so nice and told us to go right ahead!) which we loved. The lodges there are gorgeous to stay in!! We loved that guests were able to stay right on property. It was awesome since we had a decent amount of out of town guests that they could stay at a lodge, walk to the ceremony, walk to the reception, and walk back to their room! The rooms are cleaned to a T and spot less! You can even bring up alcohol from the tavern that is on property back to your room. We worked with Beth for everything and had Susie as our day of coordinator. These two are AMAZING! Thank goodness for Beth- she answered all our questions in a timely and happy manner. She helped us set up a second room block when I had a panic attack we weren't going to be able to accommodate everyone- she had it set up within a day.. so awesome! She made everything perfect for her and we cannot thank her enough for all she did. I can't imagine how many e-mails she goes through a day but she always takes time to answer you and makes you feel like your the only bride and groom she's working with. She works to make sure you are always treated as her top priority and it is so appreciated. We loved having Susie as our day of coordinator. She made the day go so smoothly and took care of everything for us. I am sure random things came up in the day but I honestly have no idea about them! If anything did come up- Susie was on it and took care of it! She listened to us and made sure to make us her top priority that day. We cannot thank her enough! The staff at the Lodges is absolutely amazing! They are so nice and kind- I wish I knew everyone's names because they were great!!! Thank you for all that you guys do- you were great! The food was delicious!! We did the pulled pork BBQ, chicken breast, mac n cheese, baked beans, etc. and it was SO great!! I still am dreaming about that dinner- it was such good comfort food. We had the BEST bartenders around. Everyone is still talking about how great they were! We were able to do a bon fire afterwards and everyone had a great time! Our room for the night was amazing and they provide a bottle of champagne which was so sweet to come back and see in our room. The Lodges does a fantastic job at making your day extra special with little touches like that. We cannot wait to come to the Lodges and spend anniversaries there. The lodges will always hold a special place in our hearts and we cannot recommend them enough to have your wedding there- you will not be disappointed!

The Lodges was the perfect option for our November, 2018 wedding. We had planned to have the ceremony outdoors by the lake. Unfortunately, it did snow 2 days before which meant we had to use the backup option. As upset as I initially was about this, the staff was so kind and so willing to turn the indoor space into the perfect option. We were still able to take beautiful photos outdoors and the guests all talked about how the snow just made their guest lodges feel even cozier! This venue does have exclusive catering through the Carriage House. It was one of our reservations about choosing this option as we were hoping to price out multiple caterers; however, the food was amazing and they give you a lot of ways to adjust the menu to fit your price range. The pre-wedding “Date Night” was how we met and chose most of our vendors, so that was definitely a perk! Beth was SO helpful throughout the entire planning process and we can’t thank her enough.

Every other venue we looked at just didnt compare, I had my heart set on the Lodges from day 1. Beth was awesome at answering my millions of emails (because I was so nervous) and Austin was extraordinary the day of our wedding. He was on top of everything, between moving stuff from ceremony to reception to constantly supplying us with drinks to tearing all my decorations down at the end. I highly recommend!!! I am so glad we choose the Lodges and will definitely be back.

We recently had our wedding at The Lodges and were so impressed with the way they run this place that we would highly recommend them to anyone and everyone! It rained on our day and caused us to have our outdoor ceremony inside which was upsetting, Beth, Susie, and staff went above and beyond to make the most of this situation and gave us an amazing ceremony and gorgeous reception. The overnight lodges were beautiful and perfect for our guests with all the right amenities. If we had it to do over again we would absolutely choose The Lodges at Gettysburg for our wedding and highly recommend them for any event you might want to plan. My husband and I knew right away we wanted to get married at the Lodges after going to a wedding there 2 years prior. Everyone at the Lodges was more than helpful. We were married there on October 19th 2018 and could not have asked for a better experience. From start to finish I knew I had nothing to worry about. I was in good hands. The location is breathtaking. The food from the Carriage House was amazing! We also had our rehearsal dinner there and the food for that was excellent! Beth was so kind and helpful every step of the way. Nona, the front desk manager was so outgoing and did everything in her power to help in any way on the day of! Her personality is the best! I have nothing but kind words to say about the Lodges at Gettysburg. The bridal suite was so much fun with pitchers of mimosas! The cabins to stay over night in were very nice and clean. Everything for the reception was set up just as I imagined! Our wedding is truly a day to remember and we continue to get compliments on how perfect the day/night was! We could not have asked for a better experience!

Our wedding was 9/15/18 and it was absolutely fantastic! Our engagement was quite long (1 week shy of 2 years) and we booked the Lodges as our venue very early on. For our entire planning period, Denise and Beth were so helpful in answering every single question I had about having a wedding!! They helped organize our on site lodging, as almost all guests had to stay over night. They were accommodating down to the weeks before ensuring all of our guests had a place to stay! I felt so special on my wedding weekend by all of the staff! They really pamper you! Susie was out day-of coordinator and she was out of this world helpful! She took care of everything and checked in often the day of the wedding! I really trusted them with everything! My guests have RAVED about our wedding! So many compliments on the food and staff. The venue is so perfect, both inside and out! I could not recommend more!

My husband and I fell in love with The Lodges the minute we arrived. It was so accommadating, beautiful, and welcoming that there really is nothing you can't love about the venue! All I truly wanted was to get married outside near a lake and The Lodges had just that and the pricing is unbeatable. Guests loved that they could literally walk 5 minutes to their rooms after the reception was over and it was such a peace of mind knowing my guests didn't feel that they had to drive home after celebrating with us all night. In regards to our lodge for the night, it was absolutely beautiful! They had placed rose petals on the floor and the bed and a complimentary bottle of champagne. Such an amazing thing to walk in to! We had such a lovely experience here! I would recommend this location to anyone! Thank you so much Beth and Austin! You guys were so amazing!

I cannot say enough good things about The Lodges at Gettysburg! If you're looking to get married here and this beautiful, classy venue fits the profile of what you want, all I can say is DO IT. You will not regret it. Beth was our wedding coordinator and she went above and beyond for us. She dealt with a constant influx of questions from five separate parents plus me and my husband and always answered thoroughly and politely. I can't imagine that we were the easiest family to work with just because we asked for so much. She helped my stepmom figure out logistics to the tiniest details, she helped my mother-in-law upgrade the wine and champagne, and overall she just handled us with a smile. We are eternally grateful for her, Nona, and the rest of the staff, even the people at the front desk who cheered us on and greeted us with smiles on our wedding day. And everything went off without a single problem. No crises, no issues, they planned and prepared to a T. A++!

We just had our son's wedding at The Lodges at Gettysburg. I cannot say enough good things. The whole process from the beginning has been excellent. We worked with Beth as our coordinator and she has been very helpful in getting things done -- whether making sure our rooms were reserved or our upgraded champagne and wine was ordered. She arranged a special tasting for us to decide on the food. The rest of the staff were wonderful. Nona at the front desk is amazing - getting all our guests checked in and putting the gift bags in the rooms for them and keeping me sane. The event itself was incredible. The bridal suite is large with two beautician chairs - we brought our own hairdresser and makeup artist. (We were not happy with the on site person). The ceremony was handled beautifully and the sun appeared over the lake as wedding went on. The cocktail hour was lovely and the dinner reception was great - with our upgraded champagne for the toast and wine service during dinner. The food was excellent although I would have liked to improve the presentation. We had strip sirloin and crab cake duet plate. When we tasted - the steak had been sliced. At the wedding everyone got a whole steak and a crab cake. There was a lot on the plate. However, the taste was excellent. They also were wonderful about our guests with special diets. We had small indicators on the name cards and the staff brought those people the correct food. The bonfire after the reception turned out to be well attended much to our surprise - everyone wanted to keep partying. It was a lot of fun.Brunch on Sunday was also wonderful - the food was good and plentiful and our guests really enjoyed the additional time to mingle and visit.This was a destination wedding for us although we live only an hour away. However, most of our friends stayed for 2 nights and some for one. It made for a very special time to be together. The Lodges is a hidden gem that is worth considering for a wedding. They know how to do it right. The staff and the facility are both top notch and they are willing to work with you around things that are important to you to do.

Our wedding was truly remarkable! The Lodges at Gettysburg provided exceptional service and every planning detail was executed beautifully. Thoroughly enjoyed working with Beth and we couldn't have had a more beautiful day. From the private cocktail hour to the preferred vendor list -- we are so grateful we chose this sight as our wedding venue! It was a little pricey (just a pinch outside of our budget) but honestly it was worth every penny. Guests also RAVED about the cabins on the grounds and the bonfire that ended the night was definitely a hit! Highly highly recommend!

The Lodges was absolutely beautiful! Our wedding day went extremely smoothly! The staff as a whole was fantastic and very friendly. We used the outdoor venue for our ceremony with the horse and carriage and had the reception in the ballroom! It was a beautiful setting and everything went off without a hitch. The staff did a fantastic job keeping the buffet lines moving so that each guest got their food at a reasonable time. The food tasted great! All in all, I would definitely recommend this venue!

My husband and I got married in May 2018! We could not have asked for a better experience! The lodges made it easy to turn our wedding day into a wedding weekend. Our adventure started Friday at the rehearsal! Beth and Susie did a great job organizing our families to know exactly what we were suppose to be doing. It was a rainy weekend but Saturday was a slight mist. The only negative I have about the venue was them trying to influence us into having it inside rather than outside. All morning the groomsmen and the father’s were drying off the grass and wiping off the deck where the ceremony is outside. By noon we were able to make the final decision to have it outside with all of the work the guys did. When people started to arrive people were not really sure where to park until we asked someone to start organizing the cars. But everything else was absolutely fantastic! Susie did an amazing job making us not stressed about anything and to make everything perfect and nothing we had to worry about. She also made sure we had our drinks that we wanted from the bar during cocktail hour while we were taking pictures and when we were finished she gave us a bunch of snacks before we got introduced! At the end of the night, they placed food in our room for a mid night snack! The bar stayed open for us so that the party did not have to stop! Our wedding was everything we could imagined it would be! They were extremely accommodating with the fact I did not want to have any of our guest in the balcony and they made it work! It was amazing!

The Lodges at Gettysburg was absolutely phenomenal, we couldn't have asked for a better venue to host the most important day of our lives. The Lodges at Gettysburg was by far the most affordable of the local venues that we had researched, and they included so much more than most vendors. The Lodges provided everything from food/bar and cake to tables/chairs, tablecloths, dinnerware, decorations, and an on-site wedding planner for our wedding day. The Lodges at Gettysburg has stunning views for photography, we absolutely loved our photos that were taken there. The lodges where guests stay are charming, clean, and right beside the reception hall so that guests can walk to their rooms. They even have a site for hosting bonfires for guests after the wedding is over. Beth and Susie were absolutely phenomenal wedding planners, they were so prompt with communicating with us and so thorough with answering all of our questions. Susie thought of every little detail ahead of time so that our wedding was completely seamless, relaxing, and fun! We couldn't be happier with our venue and received so many compliments from guests on how beautiful and wonderful the venue was. We would absolutely recommend The Lodges at Gettysburg for weddings or any special occasion. The customer service and quality of the venue is fantastic, and the price for everything that's included is both very reasonable and well worth it!

There are not enough words to express how absolutely perfect our May 2017 wedding was at the Lodges! From the moment we chose the Lodges, Beth was incredibly helpful, answering all of our questions with a speedy response time. The rehearsal and dinner were excellent, laid back yet but very efficient and so much fun. The day of the wedding was beyond my wildest dreams. The bridal suite is huge and spacious, and it was the perfect place for all of us ladies to get ready. Beth made sure that every single thing was perfect, from coordinating with vendors to helping guests transition from ceremony to cocktail hour to reception and then send off. Beth and her team are so attentive and everything they do is with the bride and groom in mind. They took drink orders for our wedding party and parents so that after we had pictures done we had drinks waiting and our own spread of appetizers in a private room--just wow! That was so incredible to be able to not only get to eat the appetizers we picked, but to have a peaceful moment with our closest family and friends before heading into the reception. My husband and I were treated like royalty, Beth hand delivered dinner for us so we could relax and not go through the food stations, and made sure we always had a drink. At the end of the night, Beth drove my husband and I back to our cabins, where she had already dropped off to-go containers of our wedding dinners and cake as well as champagne and flowers, it was an incredible surprise! I cannot express how stress-free the entire wedding planning process and actual wedding day was. Beth and The Lodges staff, THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts for making our day a fairytale I didn't know was possible. We will be back on our anniversary to enjoy another night there!

We wanted a wedding venue where we could have our ceremony, reception and guests stay overnight all at one location, and the Lodges at Gettysburg did just that and more! The Lodges have an exclusive caterer for food and alcohol, so it makes the decision process minimal, which is something we wanted. The food was delicious, so much so our guests were getting seconds! The Lodges also have preferred vendors, some of which we used and loved! Beth, the Director of Events, is AMAZING!!!! She helped us from the very beginning to the very end. She has the patience of a saint and is very responsive and knowledgeable. She always made me feel like I was the only bride she was working with, even though I knew I was one of the many brides sending her email after email! The Lodges have weddings down to a science and operate like a well-oiled machine, as it should be because it is the most important day of your life! Sarah, our day of wedding coordinator, and the entire Lodges' staff was so accommodating and helpful on our wedding day to us and our guests, I cannot thank them enough. At the end of the night Sarah took us on a golf cart to our Lodge. The staff put rose petals on the floor and bed, champagne on ice, and there were leftovers from our reception in the fridge. The little details made all the difference to us! Our parents hosted a brunch at the Lodges the morning after our wedding , of which Beth coordinated and managed for us. It was the perfect farewell to our family and friends who attended our wedding weekend. We highly recommend The Lodges at Gettysburg for a wedding venue!

My husband and I got married in August at the Lodges and we could not have had a more perfect wedding. The staff at the Lodges are very nice and helpful!! Beth answered all of my questions and found other alternatives if she could not answer them!! One our wedding day we had a few set backs. Sarah not only helped us, she eased my mind!! I don't remember the ladies name, but they had someone on the grounds that made our wedding cake beautiful after it decided to fall apart!! Not only do they help with the wedding and reception they gave us some super sweet mementos as well. Since it rained for the most part of our day, they filled a jar with the rain water and they also took the petals that my niece threw and put it in our room as well!!! Super sweet!!! :)

My daughter got married recently at The Lodges at Gettysburg and we couldn’t have been happier with this venue. There are so many details to attend to at a wedding and the staff at The Lodges made everything run smoothly. The wedding on the lake was beautiful and The Lodge, where the reception was held, was set up perfectly. From the get-ready rooms, to the reception hall, it was a great place for our guests and for the wedding party. The campfire by the lake after the reception was an added nice touch. From the beginning, the wedding planner answered my questions promptly, kept me informed and was very friendly and accommodating. At the wedding, the coordinators left no detail unattended to. They were excellent at keeping everything on schedule and making sure everyone was where they needed to be. The caterers used by The Lodges were great, too. The food was delicious! Everyone, from the servers, to the front desk clerk, to the coordinators, to the manager, were so friendly and helpful. Also, the fact that most of the wedding guests stayed in cabins on the property, made for a nice way to socialize and see friends and family away from the wedding. Being in Gettysburg, it also gave our guests things to do in town. I am so glad we picked this venue for my daughter’s wedding as everything was perfect! I would highly recommend it. All of our wedding guests had a great time and the bride and groom were so happy!!

The Lodges is beautiful and required minimal \"extra decorating\" which was great. Beth was easy to work with, very responsive and made every effort to accommodate our specific and off the wall requests. We loved that all our guests could stay right on the property and spend the whole weekend together with us. It was tons of fun. The only negative I have is the short \"window\" for our guests to book rooms under our \"block\" and after the reception I had set my bouquet aside to bring home but it went missing which was devastating. The ended up finding it hidden in the back of a refrigerator and reimbursed my gas for the long drive back to retrieve it. Overall it was a wonderful experience.

The Lodges at Gettysburg is an AMAZING venue! The location is beautiful, the food is great and big portion sizes, and most importantly the staff is so friendly and helpful. Throughout the whole planning process up through the day of the wedding, if I had a question, they made sure to answer it quickly. The Lodges at Gettysburg takes a lot of the work out of having a wedding and allows you to enjoy your big day. I highly recommend this venue!

The Lodges at Gettysburg is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. We were married at the Gettysburg Seminary and had our reception at the Lodges on May 27th, 2017 and my wife and I are both from the midwest so we planned everything long distance. All but 6 of our guests traveled long distance to attend and the Lodges did a FANTASTIC job accommodating the whole family! When we were planning, I thought that it was a little pricey side for both food and the venue, so I had very high expectations.... When it was all said and done, every single part of our day EXCEEDED our expectations 10 fold!! All of the staff were extremely FLEXIBLE which was one of the selling points for us and they supported and enabled us to make our wedding truly our own. Our guests loved the venue and loved staying in the cabins on the hill - it was so fun to have everyone close by and in their own little \"house!\"Overall, we had a phenomenal experience at the Lodges. When you book with the Lodges, you will truly have a special, personal, professional experience that far exceed your expectations. Thank you Beth, Nona, Matt, Terry, and everyone else who made our weekend unforgettable!!!!!
