I absolutely loved our experience working with Tracey, Nikki, and the rest of the team at Luna! As someone who works in the wedding industry, it was really important to me to have my wedding at a venue that made the planning process simple and easy. Tracey made the planning process extremely easy and I truly had no worries that things would not go as we had discussed. The space was beautiful, the food and drinks were delicious, and we had such an amazing evening celebrating our wedding in this space :) I would highly recommend!

Our wedding ceremony & reception at the Loft were beautiful! The space is gorgeous without lots of extra decor needed. We also used the in-house catering and our guests raved about the delicious food! I cannot give 5 Stars as communication between us and the staff was not often super timely; you can only communicate via emails/their web portal. In our experience, details that were discussed via email or written down at in person meetings didn’t happen. Overall, we still had a beautiful wedding and do not regret our choice, but if you are a highly Type A bride like myself, working with this venue may be a frustrating experience due to the communication/details.

Our wedding ceremony & reception at the Loft were beautiful! The space is gorgeous without lots of extra decor needed. Our wedding was incredible! We did both our ceremony and reception at The Loft @ Luna and worked directly with Jenna who was absolutely amazing during the process. She answered all of my questions promptly and was so easy to work with even offering examples of how things had been done previously that worked well in the space. The space is absolutely gorgeous and stunning and their bar pricing was fair with everything included even the service fee when quoting, there were no unexpected hidden charges with any aspect of this venue. This venue was perfect with so many wonderful photo locations nearby and given we got married in the winter this venue was the perfect location, feel, and vibe we were going for with an industrial loft that spoke for itself! Would absolutely recommend The Loft @ Luna to anyone looking!

Our wedding was incredible! We did both our ceremony and reception at The Loft @ Luna and worked directly with Jenna who was absolutely amazing during the process. Our wedding was the best day of our lives and The Loft @ Luna was the perfect venue. We were able to keep decor to a minimum because the venue is absolutely beautiful on its own. Jenna was so helpful throughout the entire planning process. They took care of everything on our wedding day and we were completely stress-free. We also catered Luna for our dinner/desserts/bar and it was incredible. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for an affordable, beautiful GR venue!

Our wedding was the best day of our lives and The Loft @ Luna was the perfect venue. We were able to keep decor to a minimum because the venue is absolutely beautiful on its own. Jenna was so helpful throughout the entire planning process. They took care of everything on our wedding day and we were completely stress-free. We also catered Luna for our dinner/desserts/bar and it was incredible. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for an affordable, beautiful GR venue!

We ended up having to cancel our wedding with Luna due to COVID-19 restrictions but, I cannot say enough nice things about the staff, the space and the food. The space is gorgeous and an AMAZING value for everything you get! They are also super above board on prices for alcohol and food with service fees included and everything is affordable despite being very high quality. The tacos were delicious (so upset they're not our wedding food anymore) and the staff was always so professional, responsive and accommodating. It broke my hear that we had to cancel. This place is amazing, have your wedding here please.

This venue wow’ d our guests. When we first came out to GR to look for the perfect venue, my husband put this place on our list of places to check out and before we even got there I said “I don’t even know why we are coming here- I can tell you right now it’s a no go for me”. As soon as we walked in- it was PERFECT. Pictures do not do this place justice. The simplicity and rustic/modern feel is perfect if you are looking for a simple yet elegant venue. We are so happy we chose to go with them!

My husband and I cannot say enough good things about The Loft at Luna! From our initial walk-through and throughout the rest of the planning process they did a fantastic job! Angela & Emily were so responsive, kind, and knowledgeable. They got back to us quickly and checked in throughout the year to make sure planning was going smoothly. Everything was straight forward from the get go and things could not have gone any smoother. Day of Emily was attentive to our and our guest needs. She checked in with my husband and I numerous times to make sure we were having a great time and had everything we needed. All the catering and bar staff were so kind!We had Luna cater as well and Tracey was awesome to work with! She explained all the different offerings and answered any of our questions in regards to guests with special dietary needs. At our tasting Tracey was personable and went above and beyond while we tried all the food. Night of our guests RAVED about how good everything was! The space itself is awesome if you're looking for something that doesn't need a lot of decor as the exposed brick, beautiful tables, and chairs can stand alone. Although it still looked great dolled up with florals & candles as well. The space overall was clean and the bathrooms were full stocked with mints, full length mirrors, etc. which was not expected. We cannot say enough good things about this venue! We would recommend it to anyone looking for something in the downtown gr area!

This was the perfect venue for our reception with 120 guests. The space is naturally very beautiful and intimate, which helped us save a lot of money on decorations. The Loft at Luna staff are wonderful to work with and took all of the stress away from our wedding day by ensuring that my vision for the space came to life. The bar staff were also great to work with and the packages that they offer are both flexible and affordable. Overall, this was an amazing venue and I would highly recommend it to other couples!

Absolutely amazing venue and staff! We had both our ceremony and reception at The Loft @ Luna. The space is gorgeous, and didn't need much decorating. We worked closely with Emily throughout the planning process and during the day of the wedding. She was fantastic to work with, always quick to respond to emails, and was open to any thoughts and ideas I had about the way I wanted the space to look. She checked in throughout the wedding to make sure everything was going the way we had planned, and seeing if there was anything we needed. We couldn't have been happier, and highly recommend The Loft @ Luna!

We were planning from across the country and had the absolute best time working with The Loft. We knew the area, but never actually physically saw the venue until about a month before our wedding. We never had any doubts though because the pictures of it were amazing and everyone we worked with was super helpful. They made sure when my parents were in town that they could go and see the venue as well. We just had our wedding reception at Luna, and it over exceeded our expectations. The staff communicated and was extremely knowledgeable. We worked with Emily and she was there during our event. She insured everything ran so smooth! She was always there when we needed her, and we are so grateful for their staffs hard work! People raved about the space! It was warm and welcoming and the perfect size for our 160 person wedding! They communicated with all our vendors and worked with them to make sure they could get where they needed to and had everything to make the night run flawlessly, and it did! Would highly recommend! They are so professional, but with a ton of flexibility so the day looks and runs they way you and your spouse envision.

She insured everything ran so smooth! She was always there when we needed her, and we are so grateful for their staffs hard work! People raved about the space! Cool space, I loved the tables and chairs, and the twinkle lights in the ceiling! Saved me a lot of decorating bc the space was so beautiful. Very flexible with catering vendors, and in general - Willing to work with you on what you envision, didn't have crazy rules like other venues. Little lax on the communication as the owner seems to be traveling a lot, but in the end everything worked out. Onsite management during setup was great, and they were present & checked on everything in an unobtrusive way during the event to make sure things were going smoothly.

The venue is beautiful and unique, the guests loved being right down town. We loved the minimalist feel and not needing to do much decorating. Ashley the even coordinator is THE BEST, the owner is a busy man so I recommend communicating with Ashley directly. She was not only helpful leading up to the event but the day of she was attentive to us, made sure everything ran smooth and went above and beyond her job.

The venue is beautiful and unique, the guests loved being right down town. We loved the minimalist feel and not needing to do much decorating. Ashley the even coordinator is THE BEST, the owner is a busy man so I recommend communicating with Ashley directly. The Loft at Luna was a beautiful reception space with food and drink to die for. Angela (wedding manager) was extremely helpful both before the wedding and during the day of the reception. The margaritas at the bar were an absolute hit with our guests, and several of them told us how happy they were to have something a little different to eat with the amazing catered taco bar. The only reason that Luna isn't receiving 5 stars is that the AC unit either was not working or was not properly set prior to 165 people arriving for a July wedding, so that by the time half the night was over, people were reluctant to get on the dance floor due to the extreme heat. Despite them bringing up additional fans and turning the air down, it remained an issue the entire night, and is the main factor dropping them down from 5 stars.

We loved the idea of having a taco bar and margaritas for dinner and did our catering through them as well. The food is delicious (we received a TON of compliments!), and the space is so gorgeous that it really doesn't need much decorating. Our only (tiny) hang up was in the communication - at first we were working with one coordinator and were passed along to a second, which was fine with us but we were a little confused about why and wish that would have been communicated to us. A small concern, and it all worked out in the end. On the day of, our coordinator Angela took great care of us and made sure everything ran smoothly. She was a huge help in making sure the day was perfect, and we could not have done it without her. Overall, we really loved having our wedding at The Loft @ Luna and would recommend them to anyone!

Absolutely amazing venue! I could not have asked for better service, communication and all around team to work with on my special day. I don't think there was one issue that was not addressed or wish that did not come true. Everything about my day was amazing and that was because the team at Luna did spectacular. I would recommend them to anyone and I most certainly have not one bad word to utter against the staff. If you're looking for a romantic venue, look no further.

Brides Beware. DO NOT pay a downpayment to Luna until they agree to your caterer and do not expect easy communication. They say you can use another caterer if you get their approval, but when we asked to use a prominent Grand Rapids caterer the week after paying the downpayment , they did not respond for weeks. The caterer said Luna never contacted them about working out a contract. We could not get anyone to respond to our numerous emails to the Luna portal, and they would not give us a phone number where we could reach the wedding planner or anyone associated with the Luna event space. They said the wedding planner would call us, but she never did. We finally sent an email in desperation with the Re: line PLEASE HAVE SOMEONE CALL ME! to ask again if they would please confirm that we could use our caterer. They finally emailed back saying that no, we could not use them. The email also set \"ground rules for communication and expectations\" - which were essentially that we would not get a phone number and had to use the portal for all communications. Do not be mistaken that this is simply about not being able to use the caterer of our choice. We could have found another caterer. The bigger problem is the complete lack of professional communication and the refusal to give us a telephone number where we could speak with someone about plans. I don't know how one is supposed to plan the details of a wedding reception if you cannot call anyone and the wedding planner does not call you. The owner's response was rude and condescending. They were more than happy to cancel our contract and keep our nonrefundable downpayment.

Brides Beware. DO NOT pay a downpayment to Luna until they agree to your caterer and do not expect easy communication. They say you can use another caterer if you get their approval, but when we asked to use a prominent Grand Rapids caterer the week after paying the downpayment , they did not respond for weeks. The caterer said Luna never contacted them about working out a contract. We could not get anyone to respond to our numerous emails to the Luna portal, and they would not give us a phone number where we could reach the wedding planner or anyone associated with the Luna event space. They said the wedding planner would call us, but she never did. We finally sent an email in desperation with the Re: line PLEASE HAVE SOMEONE CALL ME! to ask again if they would please confirm that we could use our caterer. They finally emailed back saying that no, we could not use them. The email also set \"ground rules for communication and expectations\" - which were essentially that we would not get a phone number and had to use the portal for all communications. We had an awesome experience at Luna. The space is fantastic, and the staff, particularly Mario and Emily, were extremely flexible to work with, including some last minute heroics. The food (tacos!) was of course fantastic as well. HIGHLY recommended!!

We got so many compliments on how beautiful the space was, and the owners were very good with communication/helping us set up everything we needed! They were also very flexible! Mario Cascante (Owner) Luna is a hip, modern Latin American restaurant. It is located in the heart of the entertainment district in Downtown Grand Rapids. My (then-fiancee) and I created Luna to bring a great new vibe and feel to Downtown. The Loft at Luna is the latest addition to our vision. It is a unique, loft-style event space that encompasses the right amount of rustic charm and modern loft-feel.The first wedding held at the Loft was between the owners, Mario and Emily on Oct. 8.
