The Log Cabin & The Delaney House is a wedding venue based in Holyoke, MA. Offering two exquisite locations for couples to choose from, each event space comes with its own unique sense of charm and character. Whether you are looking for stunning views of the natural surroundings or the timeless charm of a classically furnished ballroom, there is something for everyone. Located towards the peak of the majestic Mt Tom, the Log Cabin is a mountaintop venue with lavish grounds and spectacular panoramic views of the valley. The Delaney House is a classic country house venue situated west of Mt Tom State Reservation and features an array of gorgeously decorated event rooms. Though found in the heart of Western Massachusetts, both of these venues are easily accessible from major East Coast cities. Both locations are a three-hour drive from New York and a two-hour journey from Boston. Both locations are optimized for comfort and offer exceptional service to couples and their guests. Full of rustic splendor, The Log Cabin offers a simple and refined indoor ambiance to complement its spectacular outdoor surroundings. For more of a decorative affair, The Delaney House offers a resplendent array of event spaces, each of which is superbly decorated to create the perfect celebration atmosphere. As well as featuring a beautiful outdoor ceremony site, The Log Cabin features a variety of celebration rooms that can accommodate up to 450 guests. We were very happy that we chose the Log Cabin for our wedding. Our coordinator, Nicole, made planning very easy and straightforward. Everyone did their part to make the night go smoothly. The site itself (Log Cabin) is very beautiful, with a great outdoor view for the ceremony and patio sites, and a spacious, recently renovated ballroom. Overall, we definitely recommend the Log Cabin as a wedding venue.

Wow wow wow! I can’t say anything negative! From our wedding coordinator to our day of coordinator to the set up to the venue itself to the food… I could go on an on!!! This venue is absolutely amazing! I have no regrets on our choice. Weddings are expensive but this had everything we wanted in a reasonable price range. They were transparent about costs and super helpful with questions. The staff were so wonderful and kind. I love this venue so much! They have other events they hold and I really want to go back and attend some!

We cannot say enough great things about The Log Cabin! We had our wedding there at the Upper Vista last month and everything was absolutely perfect. Nicole was so helpful and attentive to us throughout the entire experience of planning and especially last minute prep and organizing. You truly can tell how experienced she is through her knowledge and ability to help keep you calm and navigate any situation. We also had an amazing day-of coordinator, Jim, who went above and beyond for us. All of the staff were so pleasant, extremely attentive and they made sure everything ran smoothly and was just as we wanted it. Had a wonderful experience and magical wedding at the Log Cabin. It’s beautiful there, the guests loved the food and the team was all super helpful. Special shout out to the lead server Bubbles who could not of made the day feel more relaxed for me. Sadly it rained during our wedding but the team had great communication with me for a back up plan and we were still able to get some great shots in the rain. The Log Cabin even provided us umbrellas! Would recommend to other brides. Very reasonable priced as well.

I cannot recommend The Log Cabin enough for your special day. We recently got married there in October and it was absolutely perfect. The views of the fall foliage as well as the ceremony site were absolutely breathtaking. All of our guests raved about how amazing the whole day was. Everyone especially loved how delicious the food was. The staff worked so incredibly hard to make sure that everything went off without a hitch. The service provided by all of the staff that day was exceptional. Our day of event coordinator, Matt, was so kind, friendly, and professional. He calmed our nerves as he had everything planned out perfectly. Our head server, Colin, was so accommodating and helpful making sure that we had food and drinks the whole night. Our event coordinator, Nicole, was absolutely incredible and went above and beyond during the whole planning process to make sure that every detail for the wedding was well thought out and planned exactly how we wanted it. She was always available to answer any question that I had. She was so wonderful to work with and extremely helpful, hardworking, and organized throughout the whole entire process. I highly recommend getting married at The Log Cabin. The service is SO incredible and the staff show that they truly care about making your day special!

We were so happy with our choice of The Log Cabin as our venue for our 10/29/22 fall wedding. The venue is absolutely gorgeous all around; especially the ceremony spaces overlooking the foliage that provided some amazing photos. Our coordinator Amanda worked with us closely leading up to the big day and it was great to have so many details sorted out with the venue (food, tables and seating, etc.) rather than other vendors. Another big thing we loved about The Log Cabin is that they took care of the set up and take down of our decorations, including those we provided. The prices were reasonable compared to a lot of other venues and they have quite a lot of options for meal choices. We also set up our rehearsal dinner at the Delaney house which made things very easy logistically, and our guests all loved the food. They also have a hotel at the Delaney House, but we did not use it. On the day of the wedding we worked with Matt and Nate who were a joy to work with. They were friendly, polite and extremely helpful keeping us on a timeline and working in the necessary flexibility to make sure the whole night went smoothly. We would recommended this venue to anyone in a heartbeat; we are still smiling from an absolutely perfect day!

He really went above and beyond to make sure that our needs were met and that everything ran like clockwork. He was great at keeping us relaxed and getting us pumped up so that we could fully enjoy the day. On top of that, SO many of our guests told us how impressed they were with the servers and bar tenders, which was wonderful to hear. The whole staff just knocked it out of the park!The location is beyond gorgeous of course, which was the main thing that initially attracted us to The Log Cabin, not to mention the food, which was excellent across the board. At the end of the day though, the most important thing in my book was whether or not we would be in good hands, and I can confirm we DEFINITELY were! Huge thanks to all of them for making our day so perfect!

The Log Cabin was an absolutely amazing venue to get married at. My husband and I got married here on 10/15/2022. We first looked at the venue in December of 2020 during a blizzard and fell in love with it. Nicole was so helpful with every step of planning. She was also incredibly responsive to all of my calls and emails. During the wedding Matt and Nate were so wonderful. They were so professional and kept our whole day running smoothly. The bartenders and all wait staff were also so kind and so much fun! We enjoyed every second of our wedding and if we could do it again we would absolutely choose the Log Cabin.

We first looked at the venue in December of 2020 during a blizzard and fell in love with it. Nicole was so helpful with every step of planning. We got married at The Log Cabin on 10/7/2022. First of all the staff was absolutely incredible. We worked with Nicole from our first tour all the way up until our wedding. She helped answer questions and provided guidance and suggestions for other vendors and was great to work with. The Log Cabin is stunningly beautiful and their package included so many great amenities that it made it a no brained to book. The food was incredible and all of our guests raved about it. The wedding day went off without a hitch and they made all of my DIY visions come to life and we felt extremely taken care of. Kelly and GiGi took care of us all day and we’re so much fun!!! I wish we could do it over again.

The Log Cabin and their entire team were absolutely amazing starting from the time we met Amanda at the venue tour. The Log Cabin was the last vendor we toured since we were awed from the start. Amanda was the only coordinator we met who asked about us as a couple which made us feel special from the start. She was extremely on top of all the planning details from booking all the way up until the week before the wedding. It was not just the Log Cabin that amazed us though. Their sister companies, The Delaney House who planned and hosted our rehearsal dinner as well as the D Hotel and Suites who accommodated about 70% of our wedding went above and beyond. Hannah the coordinator for the D Hotel and Suites was amazing and every single one of my guests was exceptionally happy with their stay. Day of the wedding Matt and his team were my go-to coordinators and bridal attendants and I do not have enough words to describe how flawlessly they did their jobs. I had no other wedding planner and was extremely nervous the week of the wedding but I had nothing to worry about. From setting up the rehearsal to setting up all decor and any day of needs like food or drink the entire Log Cabin team was on point. I wish I could remember my bridal attendants' names cause they were so kind, attentive, and perfect! To them and the whole rest of the team... thank you so much for our dream wedding.

This venue is absolutely incredible!! My wife and I got married here on 5/22/22 and loved it! Nicole was so amazing to work with--she helped us every step of the way and made sure we took everything into account, plus she is an absolute sweetheart! The staff that helped out on the day-of were amazing as well! Kelly was SO helpful, and Oh. My. God. My wife and I were assigned Taylor as our personal server, and she was SUCH a delight!!! After the wedding, all of our guests were raving about their servers! Everyone just made us feel so special and taken care of!! One week ago today we had our daughter’s wedding at the Log Cabin!! I can’t rave enough about this wonderful venue!! Wedding coordinator was amazing (Nicole) wedding coordinator the day of ( Josh ), the staff, the food and the atmosphere was everything our daughter and her fiancé Ryan dreamed of and more!! I highly recommend this venue for your wedding or any event you may be planning!!

One week ago today we had our daughter’s wedding at the Log Cabin!! I can’t rave enough about this wonderful venue!! Wedding coordinator was amazing (Nicole) wedding coordinator the day of ( Josh ), the staff, the food and the atmosphere was everything our daughter and her fiancé Ryan dreamed of and more!! She made us feel like we were in good hands even though we were super stressed. Matt and Nate helped coordinate the wedding day. I cannot say enough good things about them. Someone at the wedding had an allergy that i wasn't aware of and when they found out they found her something she could eat with no issues. Nate even gave us a to go bag with sandwiches and chips on the way back to the hotel. Everyone gave us such good compliments about the wedding and the staff. We couldn't have pictured this day being better than it was thanks to the Log Cabin staff. Worth EVERY penny.

Everything was easy and went perfectly. My room was ready and waiting for me when I arrived. The planning process with Nicole at the Delaney House was super easy. The night went off without a hitch. The food was amazing. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The afterparty at the Mick was so much fun. When my husband and I arrived back to our hotel room after the night was over, a bottle of champagne and two champagne flutes were waiting for us on ice. It was just perfect!

Our experience with The Log Cabin could not have been more perfect. When we first took a site visit we were captivated by the stunning views of the outdoor ceremony and cocktail sites, and we immediately knew that was the place for us. Over the span of a 20 month engagement, Nicole at The Log Cabin worked with us every step of the way to make sure the day was exactly as we wanted. Our tasting for their food was so good our family still talks about it to this day, our drop-off and event planning meetings with them could not be more straight forward and easy, and the actual wedding itself could not have been more perfect. We got married in the Southampton Room and the venue size was perfect for our 110 person wedding. Plenty of dancing space, divine food, a bar that could easily service everyone, and a combination of inside/outside appeal that led to everyone having a blast, including us! Our event coordinators for the day were Matt and Taryn, who were easy to find, work with, and who helped make sure any short-notice changes the day of, such as moving up the cake cutting or rearranging furniture quickly, went smooth and did not ruin the vibe and the mood of the wedding. Even in between our original contract signing and the wedding when there was a price adjustment due to COVID-19 pandemic effects, The Log Cabin was worth every dollar, every email, every phone call. We only regret that we can only have one wedding there for ourselves, and would recommend them to anyone looking for a scenic wedding in Western Massachusetts with a team of professionals who know how to make your special day perfect.

The day of was everything we dreamed of and all of our guests, including us, had the best time. Our day of staff - Collin and Matt were amazing and made us feel so special and taken care of. I am leaving 4 stars due to a few of our requests and details not being followed and things not being set up correctly on the day of. We let them know after the wedding the things that could have gone better and they were very receptive to the feedback and sent us a little something to make up for it, which was much appreciated. From the rehearsal dinner at The Delaney House, to the after party, to the morning after brunch, every detail was flawlessly executed to make my wedding literal perfection. All of my guests could not get enough of the beautiful views and the beautiful patio that was accessible during the entire evening.I worked with Amanda during the planning process and despite the challenges of planning a wedding during Covid-19, Amanda was professional and extremely helpful. She helped me turn my dreams into reality! I last minute had some changes to the plan, and Amanda quickly added them to our event order to made sure everything went the way I wanted it to go.The day of, my Lead Server Colin was INCREDIBLE. Colin always made sure I had a drink in hand, made sure I was fed, carried my train around, ran inside to get me a tissue with I was crying about a transportation snafu (not involving the Log Cabin), and always made sure I was happy and comfortable. Crystal helped coordinate the ceremony and made the whole experience so easy! I was so stressed about the ceremony and very nervous, but I knew with Crystal in charge everything would go smoothly. She was patient while a lot of my guests were late to the rehearsal and made sure to go over all the logistics so everyone knew what to do.Overall, I was blown away by the Log Cabin's professionalism, attention to detail, and dedication to making your wedding dreams a reality. They helped ensure I could pull off a surprise bag piper for my husband flawlessly. The day of, there wasn’t anything to worry about. Your own lead server and event coordinator make sure to take care of anything you (or the bridal party/family) may possibly need including carrying your train, bringing scissors, sewing buttons, and coordinating with the DJ when needed. They have headsets in order to easily communicate with each other for seamless coordination of all aspects. They brought our food, but brought it back to the kitchen to keep it warm multiple times since we couldn’t sit down to eat for a while. At the end of the night they boxed up our leftovers along with sandwiches for a late night snack. I could not have asked for anything more when it came to the service at the Delaney House. The D Hotel next door had equally as impressive service. They were so friendly and took care of every detail from the day we booked the room block until the day after the wedding (when they even found my keys for me and kept them at the front desk until I was able to return after brunch to get them.) We truly felt like they cared about making our day perfect for the entire weekend. Everything was truly out of this world and exceeded our expectations.

The staff at the Delaney House did an excellent job making sure that our big day went smoothly! The ballroom looked beautiful, and our guests cannot stop talking about how delicious the food was. Nicole Paolucci in particular was an enormous help through the months of planning. She is very personable and knows what she is doing- we could not have asked for a more organized, friendly, and helpful planner to assist us with our wedding! 5 stars all around!

Our wedding at the Log Cabin was amazing. We had only heard phenomenal reviews from our guests, with “best wedding ever” at the very top! We worked with Amanda through the planning process and she was amazing. She answered all of our questions, was so organized, and really helped us plan the entire weekend. She helped us through the entire process and helped us find other vendors as well. The Log Cabin was a stunning venue and the wedding itself was perfect. The team that worked the ceremony and reception were amazing. Kelly helped us with our ceremony and rehearsal and made the whole thing stress free. We have Alberto as our lead server and he was truly amazing!! He went above and beyond and really made our reception perfect. The food was amazing and everything was stress free and perfect. This venue and their team is perfect and help to make dream weddings a reality! We are so happy that we booked here!

My now husband, Chris and I used the Log Cabin for our wedding ceremony and reception. We got married at the Upper Vista which is there outdoor tented venue. We worked with Nicole during our entire wedding process and it could not have been anymore seamless! She was personable, attentive and most of all informative . She gave us her honest option and helped us every step of the way to make our wedding day the best for us. The day of the wedding we had Colin as our lead server. For anyone planning a wedding there, REQUEST HIM if possible. He was incredibly amazing! He knew what we wanted and needed before we did. My hand was never empty with drinks, my dress was always fluffed and every request was always fulfilled.The staff that day and leading up to that day could not have been any more accommodating. The food was absolutely delicious. The venue was stunning ( and that’s an understatement). 5+ stars!!! Thank you Nicole, Colin and everyone at the Log Cabin for the most amazing experience!!

We had our ceremony and reception at the Log Cabin and everything was perfect! We were lucky enough to work with Nicole as our coordinator. She made the whole process stress free and I used all of her recommendations for the vendors - everyone was great! She always responded to my emails so quickly and I'm so happy we got to work together. The table centerpieces that were provided looked beautiful and the food was delicious! I have a lot of food allergies and Chef Ben was so accommodating. He made adjustments to every meal so that it was safe for me to eat and everything was just so delicious! We worked with Taylor and Krystal on the day of and they were awesome! Krystal kept everyone on schedule and organized and Taylor was so great as our head waiter. She made sure we were able to enjoy our meals hot and always came over to ask us if we needed anything. Our ceremony outside was perfect and the view was amazing! All of our guests are still raving about what a good time they had. When my husband and I were getting ready to leave, Taylor gave us to go boxes with sandwiches and snacks for the road! The Log Cabin put so much time into the details to make my wedding the best day ever. I wish I could re-live it all over again .. and I wouldn't pick any other place! Thank you!

I had the pleasure of working with Nicole to coordinate my wedding. She made an extremely stressful situation so much easier. She was so helpful throughout the entire process. The staff charged with service for the night of the wedding were amazing, so friendly, inviting, and so helpful. The Log Cabin made my wedding night a perfect experience and I couldn’t ask for any more.

Our wedding was at the Delaney House in mid October. I am so glad I chose Delaney House's classic, elegant ballroom for the reception. The room looked absolutely beautiful on our wedding day! My husband and I were made to feel extremely at ease and attended to by the great staff . My guests raved about the food! The bridal suite was perfect to tuck away in before the reveal. Everything was coordinated perfectly. We worked with Nicole Lucas over 8 months preparing what we wanted and I have to say, she has a way about her that could not have made the process more simple and exciting. Every time I left an appointment with her it was like a weight lifted off my shoulders and everything fell more into place! If you are looking for a venue that has a stage, large dance floor, separate cocktail area (we used the outside tent & veranda), and an outdoor patio area, then this venue has it all. The food, drink, and staff are amazing to boot! We had so many choices along the way to customize décor and food as well. Everything was top-notch!

I recently had a wedding reception at the Log Cabin. From the moment we stepped into the venue we were blown away by the venue itself, our wedding planner Nicole and the staff. Everything was extremely organized and it really made the day flow. I knew that I did not have to worry about anything and it took off a lot of stress from me. My guests are still complimenting the food and the beautiful Mountain View. I was also impressed by how they were able to make my dreams a reality. We wanted donuts instead of cake and Nicole was able to make the dream a reality. Everything was absolutely perfect and I would recommend the Log Cabin to everyone.

The Log CabinThe Log Cabin venue and staff were awesome! Nicole, mydaughter’s coordinator, did so much to help us. She wasgreat as a calming presence even helping me to deal withthe “nth hour” worries. Nicole encouraged our ideas andshared a few of her own when needed. She kepteverything on track without being pushy. She is atreasure!She recommended the D-hotel for our accommodationsand we couldn’t have been happier. Rory, our contact atthe D-hotel was fantastic! Every detail was taken care ofincluding, special requests of certain rooms being next toothers and certain ones not. I was expecting a hook on thewall in my room to hang my long dress on, but there wasnot one when I arrived. I told them, and immediately amaintenance man was sent up with a beautiful whitedesigned hook. He drilled into the wall to attach the hookand it was perfect length for my dress. They did this with asmile and not any complaint. The breakfast that wasincluded with the rooms was delicious and varied daily.All our guests were very happy with this.The wedding ceremony venue was beautiful overlookingthe valley. The sunset and colors made for amazingpictures. Jason, the supervisor of the wedding waswonderful. He took care of our guest’s needs and specialaccommodations, as well as keeping everything on time.He made sure we were introduced to our receptionsupervisor before he left his job as wedding supervisor.Mathew, our head supervisor, and the staff for thewedding reception were great! They could rival any fourstar restaurant in their quickness and exceptionaldemeanor! Matt was always available and helpful in anysituation we needed help with. After the cake was cut wedecided it was not in a great location and wanted it moved.DONE! They took care of it without any complaints.There were so many people at this venue that made itperfect and I wish I could remember all their names. Thebartenders were great, Colin was on top of things and wehad the most perfect, wonderful and best experience ever!I asked my daughter, “Was it everything you hoped itwould be?” “It was even better,” was her statement.The reception was so great, we had to extend it anotherhour over the original six hours. I can't say enough about this place. Writing a review almost doesn't seem like enough with all that they did for me. I'd like to start out by mentioning I was not an easy bride to work with and did a lot of things last minute, but Nicole and the other staff were so patient and amazing with me. Everything I wanted they did with zero hesitation. When it came time for the day of our wedding, I had zero worries, because they were so easy to trust and rely on. The service was impeccable!!!! And the food was some of the best food we've ever had. We still get people telling us till this day how amazing the food, service, venue and staff were. Many of our parents were saying how it was the best wedding they've been to next to theirs! We truly couldn't have asked for a more perfect day!

We used Log Rolling Catering for our wedding on September 16, and we could not have been happier with our decision! We wanted a fully vegan menu for our wedding, and Log Rolling was not only willing to provide one but did so with eagerness and creativity. All of the staff members we worked with -- from Peter, the owner; to Lisa, our catering consultant; the chefs and baker; and Nick, our lead server -- were enthusiastic, responsive and incredibly accommodating. We knew we were taking a bit of a risk with a fully vegan menu, considering none of our guests are vegan, but we received rave reviews all night. We opted for Log Rolling's cocktail style stations, and there was so much variety that there was something for all our guests. The wedding cake they provided was beautiful too (and gluten free)! We had such a positive experience with Log Rolling Catering that our only wish is that we could throw another party so we could have them cater it again! We are so appreciative of everything Log Rolling Catering did for us, and we consider going with them as one of the best choices we made throughout our entire wedding planning process. Thank you!!!

We had our wedding in the Upper Vista tent. The day was incredible, the tent looked amazing, and we got many compliments on the food. We had the stations which worked out great, since everyone was able to get what they wanted. The staff was very accommodating and allowed us to take pictures overlooking the beautiful mountain view outside one of their other banquet rooms.I gave the Log Cabin a 3 out of 5 because a day of execution issue. We were supposed to have only gluten free items in the VIP room, and gluten free rolls for us and a select few guests whose names and table numbers we provided. Fortunately, I have enough experience with gf items, and questioned the staff on the wedding day to find out that the gf items were not put out, and the staff didn’t seem to know that we needed these items. A guest with Celiacs ended-up eating a regular roll and had to make herself sick to avoid being sicker. This was extremely disappointing to us because the gf items were something that we had stressed at every meeting. We understand that mistakes happen and no one is perfect, but this was a #1 priority to us. Other than that issue, everything else was great. The setting was amazing, the staff was easy to work with and made a lot of accommodations for us, and the food was great. The staff did a great job setting up our decorations in the tent, and it definitely met our wedding vision. We wish we could do it all over again!

If The Knot would allow a 50 star review, I would choose that. My husband and I were married at The Log Cabin on August 18, 2018.The Log Cabin has three different venue options within one. Because of the time of year and the fact we knew we wanted an outdoor wedding, the Upper Vista was the obvious choice. there is no location quite like it. the view is simply breathtaking. My husband and I were considering renting a tent, getting a caterer and hosting a wedding in a field somewhere. Once we were done adding up the costs of everything we would have needed, it ended up being less than what we paid for Log Cabin to take care of all of the stressors for us. Once we met with our sales consultant, Nicole, it was a done deal. Nicole made the planning process enjoyable from start to finish! This woman is so genuine, she gave us 100% of her attention everytime we spoke, wouldn't let me stress about anything and most importantly, we felt as though she really cared about making our day perfect! Nicole went through every detail of the day, every cost, WORKED WITH US ON COSTS for the \"extras,\" and gave her professional opinion when asked. When you book with Log Cabin so many things are included in the price that the \"extras\" werent even necessary. The venue includes the wedding cake from a well known bakery of which you can custom design: flavors and appearance. Beautiful!! When it came time for us to bring all of our decorations to the venue (for them to set up!), Nicole actually offered to bring in her own personal gold easel for us to put our \"Welcome\" sign on because she said it would be beautiful on it, and it truly was!!! When I got to the venue from our hotel the entire Log Cabin staff was making sure every guest was happy, the wedding party was taken care of and no one wanted for anything, including all of our vendors (photographer/videographer/dj). Log Cabin added details to the decor we didn't even think/talk about to top it off. Throughout the entire night, guests couldn't stop talking about how beautiful everything was. The Log Cabin invited myself and 5 others to a complimentary dinner at the Delaney House where we each got to try one of each course to compare and narrow down a final menu. This was difficult because every dish was amazing!Long story short, everyone is thanking my husband and I for a beautiful and fun wedding, AND commenting on how delicious everything from hors deuvors to their 4 course meal was! Do yourself a favor and book with them! We really do not have a single regret. And Nicole was great! :) THANK YOU FOR AN UNFORGETTBALE NIGHT. I CANT WAIT FOR MY PHOTOS TO COME BACK FROM THE PHOTOGRAPHER! What a view. If The Knot would allow a 50 star review, I would choose that. My husband and I were married at The Log Cabin on August 18, 2018.The Log Cabin has three different venue options within one. Because of the time of year and the fact we knew we wanted an outdoor wedding, the Upper Vista was the obvious choice. there is no location quite like it. the view is simply breathtaking. My husband and I were considering renting a tent, getting a caterer and hosting a wedding in a field somewhere. Once we were done adding up the costs of everything we would have needed, it ended up being less than what we paid for Log Cabin to take care of all of the stressors for us. Once we met with our sales consultant, Nicole, it was a done deal. Nicole made the planning process enjoyable from start to finish! This woman is so genuine, she gave us 100% of her attention everytime we spoke, wouldn't let me stress about anything and most importantly, we felt as though she really cared about making our day perfect! Nicole went through every detail of the day, every cost, WORKED WITH US ON COSTS for the \"extras,\" and gave her professional opinion when asked. When you book with Log Cabin so many things are included in the price that the \"extras\" werent even necessary. The venue includes the wedding cake from a well known bakery of which you can custom design: flavors and appearance. Beautiful!! We could not have been happier with our whole experience working with the Log Cabin. Working with Rebecca from start to finish helped make the stressful wedding planning process easier and kept us organized. Whenever we met with her we always felt more relaxed and excited about what our wedding was going to be like! She were incredibly easy to work with and very personable. What made wedding planning with Rebecca so easy was that we always felt welcomed and important as soon as we entered the office.At the start of our day we got to the reception almost an hour late which caused us both to be stressed on arrival. As soon as Andre opened the limo door we felt immediately calm and taken care of. He was so understanding and prompt to our needs. I expressed how hot and hungry I was and he took care of everything I needed. Kelly, our coordinator, popped into the bridal suite as soon as we were enjoying our hors d'oeuvres that were ready for us! As we were munching, she ran through how the night was going to run. She was positive and attentive from the start to the end of the night. Kelly was a great manager to the staff to make sure that we made up for lost time without the guests feeling rushed. None of our guests knew that we were running that far behind schedule which really is showing for how hard Kelly and the rest of the staff were working. My husband and I both felt as though we could forget about all of the stress going on and enjoy our special night together. The combination of her and Andre was great and we could not have been happier with having both of them that night. Once we had calmed down and took a minute to relax after arriving, Andre bustled my dress up for me and popped us some champagne! From that moment on it was smooth sailing! After we were announced into our reception we were both blown away with how beautiful the reception room looked. Everything which was discussed at the final drop with you was perfectly done out. The tables looked wonderful and all of the small details discussed were done with care. My husband loved his personal navy napkin and the way that our family pictures were displayed was exactly how we envisioned them to look like. We were able to eat our meals and thank god for that because they were wonderful! Everyone we talked to also commented on how much they loved their meals and were impressed with the staff serving them that night. Everyone was helpful, positive, and worked hard making up for that lost hour. One of my favorite details about the wedding was our cake. It was stunning and blew all my expectations out of the water. Once we cut into the cake and had our first bite we were so happy with how it came out and how delicious it was! We also appreciate how seriously the Log Cabin took allergies and that guests who were unable to eat the cake were given extra delicious chocolate covered strawberries which was really thoughtful.Since our wedding, people are still reaching out to us about how great of a time they had and how great the staff/experience was at the Log Cabin. There was not one thing at the Log Cabin we would have changed. From the service, food, and set up we were very happy with how everything went. We would recommend the Log Cabin to anyone in need of a wedding venue. From planning the wedding with Rebecca, to the start and finish of our wedding night we loved every moment.

Rebecca and staff at the Log Cabin/Delany House, My husband and I cannot put into words how grateful and happy we are for having you host our wedding reception. From Day 1 we have received EXCELLENT service and attention, starting with our venue closing and Rebecca taking us “under her wing” and reassuring us that we were in good hands and accommodating our previous venue's package. Rebecca also kept in touch with us making sure all the loose ends were tied during the year of planning we had, along with recommending vendors in our price range that we used. The days leading up to the wedding day Rebecca was accommodating with our guest list changes and table settings and kept us organized and stress free when it came to certain deadlines. We were so happy to have her help us plan our wedding! Thank you so much Rebecca and good luck with your baby girl! On the day of the wedding we were absolutely amazed at how “smooth” everything went. We were informed after the wedding that there were 3 other weddings going on at the same time, which we would have never known about based on how calm and organized all the staff was that night. The set up and centerpieces came out just as we would have pictured! Our waiter Colin was absolutely AMAZING. He was very professional and attentive to us; we have never received such great service! He also kept our drinks filled the whole night and at the end of the night had sandwiches ready for us which was just what we needed! Thank you Colin we so appreciate you! The food was delicious and we had many compliments from guests saying how great everything tasted and how great their wait staff was at their table. We have absolutely no complaints and highly recommend your venue! We also had brunch the next day for guests who stayed over and everyone including us were absolutely blown away are how tasty the food was and how much of a variety there was. Thank you all so much!! Where do I begin? Before visiting, the Log Cabin was not my first choice in wedding venue. However, I have never been so pleased to be wrong. I can 100% attest that The Log Cabin (or any of the associated venues) is THE BEST place to host your event in the Pioneer Valley. Though there are many reasons that I say this, I think it can be summarized as follows:1. The wonderful staff2. Your day your way3. Options for events at other sites4. The amazing and wonderful staffStaff. Everyone we interacted with was easy to work with, catered to our needs and often went above and beyond. If you have the lucky fortune to get Nicole as your event coordinator you should be thrilled. She is intelligent, listens to what you need in your event and delivers, while at the same time often suggesting her own ideas to improve upon what I had envisioned with a wealth of experience which I always appreciated. She has incredible taste and style and is able to give very helpful feedback for things I had trouble visualizing that she has seen a hundred times, i.e. what color napkins go with a certain decor, how many tables will fit and how close or far will they be, how big should the dance floor be, where should I put the favors, the list goes on and on. She goes above and beyond to make sure every detail is taken care of, even asking my opinion on small details that I as a bride might not have thought of but that she wanted to be done exactly how I would want. Sometimes this meant extra meetings when ours ran long, phone calls and hundreds of emails.Nicole went so far above and beyond to help coordinate my wedding and I see her as an integral and important part of that day and the year leading up to it that I will always remember. She is the best they have and I would recommend the venue to you based on her talent alone.Your day your way. This sentence is perfectly accurate and something that I think differentiates them from other venues I looked at. The Log Cabin has a number of customizable menu options to give you a basic idea and after that the sky is the limit! When asking to make substitutions, add ons or changes I was never told no. This included everything from plating meals instead of serving family style, adding and changing buffet and plated items, a custom made ice sculpture and custom late night snack that was not on the menu. All of this was done with such grace, the Log Cabin made me feel as if I was a queen who should have everything exactly as I wanted rather than making me feel as if I was being a very particular or difficult bride.Events at other sites. Again, the sky is the limit for what you can plan. For ideas, I had my bridal shower, Rehearsal Dinner, Welcome Party and post-wedding brunch at the Delaney House. All of these events were executed flawlessly (delicious food, attentive staff etc.). The best part of this being, Nicole was there to make sure each event related to the wedding was cohesive but also unique. For example we worked with her to customize menus so as not to duplicate items at the Rehearsal and then the Wedding. We also stayed at the D Hotel which was extremely convenient for both the wedding and the events at the Delaney house. We also had the option to have Log Cabin Rolling deliver take out to the bridal suite while we were getting ready, which was a big help that morning. Customer Service: 6 stars of 5. Price: 4/5, this venue can be expensive. Value: 5/5 you get what you pay for, was worth every penny

We also stayed at the D Hotel which was extremely convenient for both the wedding and the events at the Delaney house. We also had the option to have Log Cabin Rolling deliver take out to the bridal suite while we were getting ready, which was a big help that morning. Customer Service: 6 stars of 5. Price: 4/5, this venue can be expensive. Value: 5/5 you get what you pay for, was worth every penny

We used Log Rolling Catering for our wedding at Wickham Park in Manchester, CT. As one of Wickham's preferred vendors, we fell in love after our first meeting with Rebecca! We loved the element of personalization we were able to provide to our menu from the chips and salsa/queso/guac at our cocktail hour to the taco bar and mashed potato bar during our reception that our guests raved about!! The amount of food we were able to try during our tasting was out of this world, and don't get me started on the cake tasting! Rebecca was absolutely amazing throughout the entire process, answering questions (especially in the last remaining weeks leading up to the wedding). She was able to sense when I was getting stressed and helped guide me through the process. I was relieved and amazed that the catering staff took all of our items (decor, centerpieces, lawn games, etc.) and placed them exactly how I wanted everything...they truly made my vision a reality! The day of the wedding, our server Manny was absolutely amazing - he was literally there anytime and every time we needed anything - whether it was drinks, food, etc. The rest of the staff was fabulous as well and made the night both a memorable one and an enjoyable one. I am so glad that we chose to go with Log Rolling - even though they were out of state, they surpassed all expectations we had!!

The scenery at the ceremony site was amazing, and the service exceeded what we had expected. Our wedding was about 130 guests, we had the Easthampton room for our reception and the ceremony on site. The cake was included in our package and was delicious, and they offer many flavors. Rachel Voci was our event consultant and was very easy to reach, extremely helpful and helped us from beginning to the big day always with a smile on her face. Manny was our host for the night and he made sure everything was perfect, always there for us when we turned around and even made sure we sat down to eat. We would give him 10 stars if we could! We used services recommended through The Log Cabin: Portraits by David for our photographer and And the Beat Goes On with Dan Cavanaugh as our DJ, both were excellent and we highly recommend them as they are familiar with the venue and provided excellent service. She was patient and helpful with all of my questions, incredibly knowledgable, and very organized. She kept everything on track. The ceremony space, cocktail hour, and reception room were pristine. We interacted with many staff members during the reception and they were all professional and attentive. In fact, our guests raved about the waitstaff and bartenders! The food was phenomenal and The Log Cabin accommodated all dietary restrictions with ease. We also had our cake made by The Log Cabin and it was as beautiful as it was delicious. Carley was our personal attendant for the evening and she was exceptional. There were so many little things that she did for us that really made the night special. The only complaint I have is that people from the other wedding came to our room to get drinks from the open bar and use the photo booth, however, they made for some good stories! The grounds are gorgeous, the view is amazing, the staff is friendly and the food is awesome. I really had the dream wedding at The Log Cabin’s Upper Vista. It was the perfect setting for my elegant nature themed wedding. We had the pleasure of working with Kelsey to plan our wedding. She was amazing every step of the way and was always there for me whenever I had a question. I really felt like she was invested as much as I was. \r\rThe night of the wedding I was lucky enough to have Mancha as the event manager. She always seemed to be one step ahead. Our daughter's wedding was held at the Log Cabin in July and from start to finish, there was everything to love about our experience.\rFrom the moment we met our personal planner, Beth, and booked the date, we felt at home and at ease. And we COULD NOT ask for a better staff to guide us on this exciting journey! \rBecause the Log Cabin and Delaney house are affiliated, we were treated to special events there leading up to the big day such as a cake tasting and planning event in the Delaney House banquet rooom; and a complimentary, intimate family dinner at the Delaney House restaurant where we could actually order and try many different items from multiple courses off their event menu. \rBeth really listened to what we had to say about what our hopes and wishes were for the big day and made simple and easy suggestions to help achieve what we wanted in the ceremony (held outside overlooking the gorgeous Pioneer Valley) and the reception.\rI do not have enough room here to write about all that is included in their very reasonable prices. From start to finish we were treated with over-the-top, first class, caring and courteous service. Our personal ceremony coordinator, Neil, who helped us with both the rehearsal and ceremony, kept things running smoothly. We had no worries about anything.\rThe reception manager and staff took great care of our guests and made accommodations for their personal needs and ours. It was definitely NOT a one size fits all approach, but a very personal one that made us feel so special. The hors d’ oeuvres, meals, complimentary wedding cake with extra dessert choice, and more, were plentiful and delicious!\r I’d just like to mention some of the specifics that we really appreciated about this venue. We were allowed to bring in decorations and store them on-site early in the week and the flowers were brought in the day of. All was set in place by the staff exactly as planned! And what little details we may have lacked or overlooked, they graciously provided to make it what we had intended.\rThe complimentary flowers for the outside wedding were generous, beautiful, natural, and the perfect surrounding! We and our guests, when we weren’t dancing, lingered after dinner around the outdoor fireplace on the patio. We worked with Rebecca to plan everything, and she was awesome to work with. It always felt like she was looking out for our best interests in terms of helping us make our vision a reality while keeping the costs reasonable. She was very responsive to emails and was always more than patient when we changed our mind about something or wanted clarification on something. She helped us plan out all the details so that everything ran very smoothly. I was really impressed by all of the personal touches and requests they were happy to accommodate. For example, we wanted to use ice cream from a specific place with some specific toppings for our sundae bar and they were more than willing to make it happen. I was also surprised by how much they did as caterers besides just providing the food. For example, they dealt with the rental company we chose to get the tables and chairs we needed and they set up all the favors, place cards, centerpieces, the gift table, and made sure everything ran smoothly. None of these services were provided by our venue, so I don't know what we would have done without their help with all that. We probably would have had to hire a separate wedding planner.\r\rWe chose to have food stations and we got so many sincere compliments about the food. Our server got food for us from the stations and brought it to my husband and me to make sure we had time to eat. We also got our cake from them, and it was delicious!! They worked with us to make it exactly how we wanted it, and I was honestly surprised by how good it was. A few guests told us it was one of the best cakes they've ever had.\r\rThere were a couple of very minor issues that came up, but nothing major. For example, there were no spoons out when guests started to get ice cream from the sundae bar, so there was an awkward few minutes when people were trying to use forks with melting ice cream. They also forgot to put out a sign we had made for the sundae bar, but they apologized and handled it very professionally. Overall, I would definitely recommend The Log Cabin/Delaney House! My husband and I were just married here over labor day weekend in 2014. We chose the Log Cabin after looking/inquiring after a number of venues in and around Boston (where we live). The Log Cabin was reasonably priced, clearly had good service, and (as anyone who has ever been there can tell you) is absolutely gorgeous, set on the side of Mount Tom in Holyoke. The owner of the venue (as well as The Delaney House and The D. Hotel), Peter Rosskothen, helped us every step of the way. He guided us through the process-- there were a lot areas where we didn't really know what we doing-- and his vast experience in planning events helped immensely to decide what was/wasn't important for our day. He was very flexible with our ever-changing requests, and was always only an email/phone call away. The planning process was so easy-- and I honestly felt totally secure in relying on his expertise for the day.\r\rThe service was impeccable-- we had a person designated to coordinate for our day (Josh-- who helped coordinate vendors, staff, etc-- and was AMAZING), and our own personal waiter for the night of, to make sure we ate and never had to go ourselves to the bar. The waitstaff and bartenders were so friendly and helpful. The food was amazing-- and we were consistently complimented on its quality. Clearly, these people know what they are doing. \r\rEven at the end of the night, they took care of wrapping everything up for us, so that I, nor my mother or sisters, had to worry about making sure we had everything we needed to take back with us. \r\rMy favorite part of the venue is the outside-- a lot of our party enjoyed the opportunity to escape the loud music inside and sit out by the fireside enjoying a cocktail with a view. At the end of the day, the beautiful view, spacious outside, and open air are what made us choose The Log Cabin. Clearly, these people know what they are doing. \r\rEven at the end of the night, they took care of wrapping everything up for us, so that I, nor my mother or sisters, had to worry about making sure we had everything we needed to take back with us. \r\rMy favorite part of the venue is the outside-- a lot of our party enjoyed the opportunity to escape the loud music inside and sit out by the fireside enjoying a cocktail with a view. At the end of the day, the beautiful view, spacious outside, and open air are what made us choose The Log Cabin. We definitely chose well, and are still getting compliments on the venue. \r\rThank you to Peter, Josh, and everyone who made our day so easy and stress-free! Not only are the views spectacular but every single person there wanted to make sure that we were 100% satisfied. The food is great, the room was set up better then we could have ever imagined, our wedding cake was so detailed and looked better then we ever thought it would, and the staff was perfect! We are so thrilled with everything that the Log Cabin had to offer! We recommend this venue to anyone looking to get married!

The food was excellent, but everything else was a huge letdown. They sold themselves as an all-inclusive, experienced venue. To be fair, they are, but when my wedding day arrived I felt like I was not given the attention and quality service I was promised. I knew exactly what I was getting in terms of food and upgrades, but my directions were not followed for setting up my centerpieces, my guests didn’t know when the shuttle runs were, and my cake server set wasn’t put out. The biggest let down was the cake. We discussed the cake design several times, and I was never told that the cake I wanted was not achievable by their bakers, or that it would be so small that my topper wouldn’t even fit on it! The cake was hugely disappointing and crooked. I was embarrassed of it. I have a long list of other complaints, but even now, I feel like they are capable of doing a fantastic job, which just makes it more upsetting that I didn’t receive such treatment.

My husband and I attended a wedding at the Log Cabin in 2011. When we got engaged, I knew we had to check it out for ours!! Best decision ever! Our planner, Kelsey Rhodes, was amazing. She made sure my vision came to life. She was always there when I had questions(and I had millions!) and also provided me with many tips and ideas. She also provided me a list of vendors and I used all of them(florist, photographer, lighting, hotel, transportation!)I dropped everything off the week of my wedding and she made sure that everything was where I wanted them to be. The day of our wedding was beautiful (We also had the most beautiful day -weather wise!!) !! Evan and Josh made sure the event went smoothly from start to finish. If there were any issues, (and I don't think there were) I would have never known about it because they took care of everything. We also had a server with us all night long, Matt! He was AMAZING! Every time I turned around, there he was to make sure we were all set. He kept our drinks full and made sure we ate! He also made sure everyone in our wedding party and immediate families were all set. I can't say enough about the Log Cabin. We are from central mass so many of our guests were confused as to why we chose Holyoke- but once they attended our wedding they all knew why! The view is unbelievable, the food and service was outstanding and it was the perfect place to start our new life together as husband and wife. I already told Tim that when we have children, I would love to have an event there for them!!

Growing up in Western MA I have always loved the view near The Log Cabin and it became my dream that one day I would have my wedding there in the middle of fall accented by the changing foliage. That dream started to become a reality 2 years ago when we booked The Log Cabin as the venue for our October 26th wedding. Since that time we have worked with two different event coordinators, Chad and Rachel, both of which were extremely helpful and attentive to our questions (and there was a lot of those!) and needs throughout the planning process. They worked with me to add special touches that my husband had no idea about (including a grooms cake and popcorn snack for later in the night) and to help pull my many ideas together. During our drop off meeting Rachel took the time to really understand what my vision was and where I wanted things to be during our ceremony and reception, she also did an amazing job communicating this with the other staff as everything was PERFECT on our wedding day! On the day of the wedding we worked with Caitlin and Bridget, and let me tell you, these ladies were amazing! They were 100% attentive to our needs and constantly checked in to see if there was anything we needed or anything they could do. They certainly made us feel like a king and queen for the day! The food was great and the service was superb, many of my guests have since called me or sent me messages to let me know how much they enjoyed everything about our ceremony and reception. I would definitely recommend The Log Cabin in the future to anyone looking for an amazing venue with a fantastic view and a stellar team!

We had our ceremony and reception at the log cabin. It was nice to be able to walk right to the social hour after the ceremony, rather than having to drive to another location. The best part about the log cabin is the food and the view. We had some issues with our \"wedding planner\" not following through and making things more difficult for us. We also felt like the log cabin was trying to nickel and dime us the majority of the time. We had an amazing wedding thanks to the log cabin, but the issues we had during the planning phase is why they get 4 stars rather than 5. Still a great place to get married.

This location was a last minute swap when our original venue was not to our liking, but we are very glad we made the switch to the log cabin. The grounds are very well kept and the view from our ceremony site was stunning. Our coordinator, Chad Donnelly was very helpful from beginning to the finale. Our head server Jennifer Brown was running around all night for us to make sure we were well taken care of, and we were! The staff was extremely helpful and the food was unbelievable. The head chef/co-owner even took time out of his busy schedule to introduce himself and congratulate us.

Log Rolling catered our brunch wedding in Somers, CT.\r\rWe planned our Connecticut wedding from Washington state. Our Sunday morning brunch wedding was fairly casual, but one thing we knew is we wanted good food. I was a little nervous, since we did not have a tasting or meet the manager beforehand (we did not go back to CT until the date of the wedding). Everything was PERFECT.\r\rChad worked with me to design a menu that was simple but elegant. The total price was well within our budget, and it was important to me that Log Rolling respected that and worked with us (we paid for the wedding ourselves). We had a waffle and pancake bar with fresh fruit, mini quiche, an omelet bar, iced tea, coffee, juices, mimosas, bellinis, etc. We got SO many compliments on the food! The night of the wedding my husband and I had a wedding planner and server dedicated to just us all night. They coordinated perfectly with my DJ and photographers so I didn't have to do a thing all night. The views can't be beat - we got lucky with perfect weather so the cocktail hour could be held outside to enjoy that space as well. The food was great (large portions) and the service was excellent. They will do pretty much anything you ask, with a smile!

I planned my wedding in 3 months. Chad and everyone else at the log cabin made it easy! The actual day was flawless. The room looked great, the staff was more than helpful and all our guests said the food was delicious. I couldn't have been happier!
