We cannot say enough about The Manor at Commonwealth! The staff were all professional and friendly. The setting for the ceremony and reception were elegant. Suzanne was amazing through the whole process for our daughter’s wedding. The food!! Our guests are still raving about the food. This venue includes so much for the price. Having the whole space to ourselves was also helpful.

Our wedding was 10/21/23 and it was magical! Suzanne, Lindsay and the staff were such a pleasure to work with throughout this whole process. Suzanne was on top of each detail and was always prompt with her communications. The venue was a dream, there were two suites for the bridal parties with a private bathroom, snacks upon arrival on the big day, plenty of spots for photos, and a beautiful backdrop for a ceremony outside. I trusted Suzanne's expertise through each step and she did not disappoint. The day of I didn't have a care in the world and felt so at ease (minus getting married of course LOL). She was there to keep everything organized with each vendor so I could focus on taking in each moment. It was the most perfect day and I'm so glad we booked with Manor House!!

We had our wedding at the manor house and absolutely loved our day! Everyone was so professional and accommodating to anything we asked for or needed! The service was amazing for the beginning phases of wedding planning all the way til clean up at the end of our wedding. There is plenty of space for guests and we loved how there were separate rooms for cocktail hour and the reception. The food was delicious. My personal favorite app was the potato skins! We truly had the best wedding at the manor house and would 1000% recommend it to anyone looking to have their wedding here!

We had our wedding at the manor house and absolutely loved our day! Everyone was so professional and accommodating to anything we asked for or needed! The service was amazing for the beginning phases of wedding planning all the way til clean up at the end of our wedding. We couldn’t have picked a better venue! The Manor House at Commonwealth was absolutely beautiful, elegant and charming. The manor house is timeless with its beautiful renovations and old Philadelphia charm. The gardens and pond surrounding the venue are perfect for pictures. The veranda and huge sunroom were perfect for cocktail hour in the summer heat. The food was seriously the best, along with our reception area with the exposed stone accent wall. However, our favorite part about Commonwealth was the people, especially our wedding planner Suzanne. She went above and beyond at making the wedding process fun and seamless. She gave amazing recommendations for vendors, and genuinely cared. This venue feels much more personal than a lot of the other wedding venues we looked at. You have the beautiful property to yourselves at a very reasonable cost.

Manor House at Commonwealth is a beautiful venue!!! It has a beautiful outdoor ceremony space in the garden, a large veranda and reception hall, several sitting areas, and two bridal party suites. The outdoor spaces have so many colorful plants and gorgeous landscaping. It was really hot for our wedding day (97 degrees in July) but the ceremony space was mostly shaded by 5:30 when our ceremony started which was great. The whole day ran so smoothly and the food was delicious! We picked the Courtyard Marriott Willow Grove as the hotel for our guests which is 10 mins away and shares a parking lot with a bar for the after party which was worked out really well!

We could not be happier with our decision to hold our wedding reception at The Manor House at Commonwealth. From our first visit to leaving the night of, everything was perfect. The venue itself is beautiful and accommodating to a high guest count. Our guests raved about the food and drinks. Although it was the people that made it even better! Suzanne and Brigid were absolutely amazing. Through the planning process to making sure we had everything we needed day of, they went out of their way to make it so special. I cannot recommend The Manor House at Commonwealth enough! I am dying to go to a wedding there as a guest!!

Positive: The venue is beautiful and we had a great time! Suzanne was amazing and we would highly recommend this venue. We believe she created a space where we could customize our wedding. We didn't like the traditional itinerary and she was open to our feedback/changes. Planning was easy and payment options were flexible which we REALLY appreciated. The day-of staff were friendly and the overall ambiance and flow of the night was great. Negative: Our concerns surround the day of the wedding. The table layout was incorrect. Our friends had to change a few table settings to match our seating chart. Our cake was thrown away. We weren't aware that we needed to inform the staff that we wanted to keep all of the uneaten cake. We also were told that the golf course would be closed during the wedding and it was not. Based on guests feedback, the valet wasn't available when guests started to arrive, some guests weren't offered wine following the ceremony, and they ran out of our signature drink.

I cannot thank the folks at The Manor House at Commonwealth enough for making our special day so wonderful. Suzanne was wonderful to work with. From our first interaction to day of, I felt really good about having our wedding at the Manor House. Some of my favorite things aside from the beautiful spot: - Having a wonderful coordinator who was always cool, calm and collected (something a nervous bride like myself desperately needed haha) - Food was awesome -- and bonus: they made sure my partner and I were fed, even during cocktail hour while we were having our pictures taken. - Champagne in the bridal suite - You have 3 options for the ceremony location - two outside and one inside (which is nice so you can adjust your day of plans to account for the weather) - The price is inclusive of so much including food, open bar, linens, etc.

We stumbled upon the Manor House's page on the Knot when we were on our way to visit another venue. During that car ride, I sent in a request for info, and by the time we left the other venue, Suzanne had already sent us an email with info. We booked Manor House almost right away after that. The communication was incredible and fast! During covid times, that was so important to us. Throughout the entire planning process, Suzanne and her team were so amazingly helpful. Every single detail was handled perfectly. We got married back in November 2021, and we are still hearing about how perfectly everything went. The staff at the Manor House really have this all down to a science. I was so nervous I would forget something, and Suzanne would email me and let me know what she needed next. It was so helpful. I sent an annoying amount of emails the week before the wedding, and even with the constant emails, she responded almost right away. I would 100% recommend the Manor House at Commonwealth for any event, especially a wedding! I know I will be trying to book my next event there :)

My husband and I had our dream wedding here 12/11/21 and it was the best experience. We had to postpone our wedding twice due to covid-19 and they were so understanding and accommodating during such a stressful time. The worked with us and made us feel well taken care of. The package makes your budget go a long way, the service was great and the food was PHENOMENAL! This was very important to me and we got so many compliments! I worked with Suzanne and she was exceptional! Accommodating, responsive, knowledgeable! The venue is also recently renovated and everything is clean and fresh! A great place to bring in your style! Highly recommend!

Throughout that uncertain time, Suzanne worked with us to make adjustments and changes. She was so helpful, very organized, and took the time to answer our (many) questions. I really loved getting to walk through the space and visit the open houses to get ideas and find vendors. The food was amazing and got rave reviews by our guests - even the individual desserts were plated beautifully! We loved having a covered outdoor space for the summer and having the additional outdoor bar for our guests. All of their spaces were clean and updated while keeping the same aesthetic that we loved at our visit. Jason & Kelly helped us on the day of, and the staff we encountered during the day were friendly and helpful! Thanks to Suzanne & the Manor House for helping us hae the perfect day!

I cannot say enough good things about this venue and the team there (especially Ryan, Kelly, John and Nasia). As a COVID bride/groom, you quickly had to learn to lower your expectations and just hope for the best, IF you could even be lucky enough, and safe enough to be able to hold your wedding during a pandemic. Well our rescheduled wedding in July was BEYOND our pre-pandemic hopes and dreams, even with the pandemic and Tropical Storm Fay to deal with. Ryan was amazing, responsive, and so supportive throughout the whole planning process, and then the replanning process. Our original date was in April, about a month after the entire state shut down. Ryan quickly found us an alternative date, and we were actually the first wedding the Manor House hosted after PA moved to the Green Phase. The safety precautions they put in place helped to ease our minds, and with a reduced guest list, we proceeded with our special day. The venue is gorgeous, the food is spectacular, in quantity and quality – all of our guests raved about it. The staff was attentive and went out of their way to make us comfortable and do anything they could for us. Kelly was hands on, and our decorations looked better than I had even imagined put up throughout the venue. We had warned John the bartender at an Open House the venue had hosted that our families would be a handful, and even with that he came back to bartend at the rehearsal dinner and the wedding. If there was something that he didn’t have at the rehearsal, he made sure to have it on the wedding day, and remembered who it was for. We had a tropical storm to contend with on our day, and with a few tweaks we were still able to have the ceremony outside on the covered veranda. With the rain we couldn’t do too many pictures outside, but the veranda and the interior of the venue are beautiful and I know our pictures will still turn out amazing. We could not have picked a better venue and team to work with, and we are so appreciative of everything!!

The safety precautions they put in place helped to ease our minds, and with a reduced guest list, we proceeded with our special day. The venue is gorgeous, the food is spectacular, in quantity and quality – all of our guests raved about it. The staff was attentive and went out of their way to make us comfortable and do anything they could for us. Kelly was hands on, and our decorations looked better than I had even imagined put up throughout the venue. We had warned John the bartender at an Open House the venue had hosted that our families would be a handful, and even with that he came back to bartend at the rehearsal dinner and the wedding. If there was something that he didn’t have at the rehearsal, he made sure to have it on the wedding day, and remembered who it was for. We had a tropical storm to contend with on our day, and with a few tweaks we were still able to have the ceremony outside on the covered veranda. With the rain we couldn’t do too many pictures outside, but the veranda and the interior of the venue are beautiful and I know our pictures will still turn out amazing. We could not have picked a better venue and team to work with, and we are so appreciative of everything!!

The rest of the staff was equally attentive. The food was absolutely amazing, and they were beyond accommodating to all our guests with food allergies. One thing that was such a big hit was the french fry station, our guests couldn't get enough and talked about how it was such a unique idea. We are so glad we chose to have our wedding at the Manor House! The exposed stone, old fireplaces, high ceilings, and large windows lend the space a quaint, yet elegant vibe. We also loved the mix of indoor and outdoor spaces for guests to mingle. The veranda, while still being open, allows for beautiful views of the garden and outdoors and provides sufficient shelter from the rain (it poured during our ceremony, and we were very grateful for the sheltered, intimate setting).The food was also immensely popular and far exceeded our expectations. Guests were so impressed with the cocktail hour (particularly the quantity and variety of food) that they thought it was the dinner itself. The menu is also quite extensive and allows for a lot of customization, and the chef is willing to work with you to incorporate non-traditional menu options. The Manor House also builds late night snacks--fry bars and dessert bars, etc.--into the cost of the wedding, ensuring that guests don't go home hungry. Drinks were also tasty and plentiful!Ryan, the coordinator we worked with, was fantastic! He's very organized and thorough while still being exceptionally down-to-earth, which was very calming in the weeks leading up to our wedding and on the day itself. I was referred to the Manor House by a coworker who had a fantastic time at her sister's wedding years ago. I assumed just by looking at the brochure and driving up to the Manor House it would be too expensive but I was completely wrong. Not only is the Manor House gorgeous, intimate, charming with great food, it is an extremely affordable venue. My husband and I were beyond happy with the professionalism, friendliness, and flexibility of Ryan, our coordinator. No matter what concern or worry I had, Ryan was there to reassure me it would be handled and it was! Besides the stellar customer service the food is beyond delicious. Our guests are still raving about all the food from cocktail hour to dessert. The drinks are well-made and I had no complaints about bar service. The ballroom is absolutely gorgeous as well. You don't need any decoration--just a few uplights and centerpieces. The room really speaks for itself along with the rest of the Manor House. All in all the Manor House is an outstanding place to host your reception. My husband and I toured MANY reception venues in the area and this beats them all by a mile. Outstanding service, food, atmosphere and best of all you don't feel like just another wedding. If I could have another event at Manor House I would do it in a heartbeat!

Horrible experience. There were multiple seating mistakes. Multiple tables were not set for the number of people that were supposed to be sitting there, including the brides mothers seat. After finding that 4 of us at the table did not have seats I went looking for an employee, had a hard time finding anyone that worked there so I went into the kitchen and told Kelly of the issue she said she will figure it out. As the four of us were waiting in the seating area outside the kitchen we started talking to another couple and they were experiencing the same issue at this point 10 mins have passed and we have heard nothing about how and when this was going to be fixed so I peeked into the kitchen to se Kelly doing silverware, so I again go into the kitchen to remind her of the issue an inform her we are missing the beginning of the reception. A woman named Christine comes to us with a seating chart and says she is now working on it. At this point we all have been standing in the front room for 30-35 min. Finally Christine says she has tables for us, leads us to a table and says these are your seats, in which when I went to sit a woman (another wedding guest) says these are our seat. Mind you we missed the intro of the bridal party and the bride and groom. Now I’m walking around searching for Christine to inform her that the table she led us to was full. When I do catch up to her and update her on the issue I also tell her that I am going to be contacting Matrix at the moment a gentleman stand a foot from me says “I’m Matrix” and introduces himself as David Heiser. I asked to speak to him in the hall where it was quieter. When entering the hall I said I’m sure you know what the problem is and what’s going on by now and his response was “I’m just getting caught up now” I was completely surprised that for 45 minutes we have been dealing with this and the GM is just now “getting caught up” tatal fail in every way. A quick 5 min conversation with him since I know it was just going to be a waste of my time. So now they have found a table for us...for real this time, in the very very back corner farthest from everything (we were in a front and center table directly across from the bride and groom originally because that’s were the bride and groom wanted us) and now we can’t even see them or sit with family and friends.

We seriously couldn't have picked a better reception venue for our wedding. Throughout the whole process Ryan (our coordinator) was super helpful and friendly. He answered all our questions and worked around our schedule since we currently live in the Midwest. The day of was absolutely perfect. The whole house looked beautiful - they made it look even better than I could have imagined with our items that we requested to be placed throughout. They also assisted with setting up the centerpieces and the cake flowers and both of those looked amazing as well. Everyone we spoke to loved the food, dessert, drinks, and overall atmosphere. When my husband and I were starting to look at potential wedding venues, the Manor House at the Commonwealth was our first stop, and we knew immediately it was where we wanted to have our reception. Neither my husband nor I were living in Pennsylvania during the planning process, but Ryan was accommodating of our schedules when we had to make trips in person and was very responsive our email in between those trips. From our first visit to the venue to the wedding day, he and the staff there were always very professional and worked hard to make sure that everything was perfect. They made sure to understand what was important to us on our day, and made that vision into a reality.I also have to say, the food at the Manor House is delicious. Our guests were raving about how much they enjoyed cocktail hour and the entrees. We cannot thank the Manor House staff enough for making our day absolutely perfect. Suzanne was wonderful to work with leading up to our wedding as well as the day of, along with Kelly. Any time I went to ask Kelly something during our reception, it had already been taken care of. The staff truly take care of you as well as your guests. We have received so many compliments on how nice the wait staff were. Guests were also amazed by the amount and quality of the food. They raved about the food!! The venue is beautiful with many different settings for whatever your taste may be.

What we loved about the Manor House was that everything was taken care of, even the cake! The food was yummy and the all inclusive aspect was amazing. We were able to get our location, food, bar, and cake for one reasonable price. Since our wedding was around the holidays, the Manor House was already decorated with beautiful holiday decor. Suzanne and her staff were so flexible in keeping some and taking some away to fit our own decor style. When we arrived to our reception, we were beyond amazed with how gorgeous everything was. The night went off with out a hitch. We didn't have to think about a single thing because the staff was so on the ball. Our guests raved about how beautiful the venue was, how delicious ALL of the food was, and what fabulous service staff the was. We could not have been happier with everything and everyone at the Manor House!

I loved working with Manor House for our wedding on Oct. 1st 2017. Back in Oct of 2016, I started talking to the coordinators there and they answered all of my questions within a couple of days. During the year, the people I developed relationships with either left or went on maturity leave but because everyone knows the details of every wedding there, the movement between coordinators was seamless! There was never a moment I felt like our wedding would be forgotten or some aspect would fall through the cracks. They collected them from our arms and put them out beautifully. We took a long time for photos outside and when the cocktail hour was almost done, someone came down and asked which ones we liked. I told her three options and when I came back inside, she had them waiting for me. I wasn’t able to finish them before we were introduced but when we sat down, they were there, waiting for me during the speeches. I was so impressed!I would recommend this place to anyone who would like an easy and smooth planning process. All my guests told me how beautiful the place was and how everything went so smoothly. My mom (who hadn’t even seen the place in person) was blown away with it.Thank you so much for everything!

The short and sweet version: We had a fantastic wedding at the Manor House in May and we would recommend Susan and her team to any new couple! Seriously, we could not be more impressed by them. If you are looking for a upscale-looking venue that isn't 'just another country club' with thought-out and reasonably-priced packages, this is it!The long, detailed version: My husband and I live in Virginia but I am from the area. It was not difficult to communicate with Susan being long distance. Susan was VERY easy to work with, straightforward, and tolerated an infinite amount of questions in the planning of our wedding! She was extremely flexible with switching some things around with the packages (i.e. a french fry station that is typically a part of cocktail hour moved to after dinner, prior to people leaving) and she never immediately said no; she always looked into something for us to see if it was feasible. There was a bit of a miscommunication regarding set-up time the day of the wedding, but she did what she could to help make us comfortable with the set up at the original time we discussed. That was very much appreciated.The evening of our wedding was fabulous and I could not have asked for a better run event! My directions for decorations were followed to a T and despite the rain, Susan and her team were kind enough to set up our lawn games on the veranda so people could still enjoy them if they wanted. The waiters, waitresses, and bar staff were extremely professional and attentive. It was pretty amazing, and my husband and I had one in particular constantly checking on us ( I wish I caught her name!). That was definitely one of the many things that guests continue to compliment us on: the fantastic waitstaff and the delicious food! Everything, from the cocktail hour bites to the entree to the chocolate mousse cups was so tastey and creative. Personally, as a many-at-time guest to other weddings, having your steak cooked to order is so reassuring that you are not getting your run-of-the-mill, overcooked, catered steak. This was definitely a selling point for the Manor House for us.Susan and her staff (again I forgot their names but they were so helpful and wonderful, I feel terrible for doing so!) kept things on track and were ready for any sudden changes, for example, us wanting to extend an hour. They were completely prepared for all of it. Finally, packing up went fairly smoothly with the help of a couple of guests, we were able to tackle it quickly. But it is a sad moment, when you feel as if you just had a moment to finally enjoy yourself, its over!All in all, my husband, my parents, and I feel like we got the biggest bang we could hope for for our buck at the Manor House. My husband and I wanted a historic and architecturally interesting venue that had outdoor/indoor possibilities (check!), fantastic food and drink that were what we WANTED to serve and not limited to packages (check!), and a reliable and professional staff to run the event smoothly (check!). The Manor House staff was a pleasure to work with and they ensured our wedding was what we wanted it to be. We would recommend them to any couple!

Suzanne and her staff were absolutely incredible! My husband and I got married there last month and couldn't have been more pleased with our decision! Unfortunately the days before and the day of our wedding my husband was really sick and the staff went above and beyond for us. The chef made him soup so that he could eat with out us even requesting it, he heard he was sick and just made it for him! The food was delicious, the bartenders and staff were all so friendly, and all of our guests were just raving about it! I highly recommend having your wedding here! As MOB I think saying that this is our SECOND wedding here SAYS IT ALL!!! The grounds are a beautiful background for pictures, the food is wonderful, the service is perfect. Our coordinator Suzanne made it all stress free! We were fortunate to have PERFECT weather but Commonwealth made the evening PERFECTION. Couldnt picture a better wedding in any other venue...So happy that Meg and J chose Commonwealth for magical memories!

Everything from the food to the service was top notch and all for a reasonable price. Guests told us that it was one of the best weddings they have been to and the food was hands-down #1 (we did a buffet, which was a huge hit). On the day of my wedding I felt like a queen! We got married during a heatwave, and the Commonwealth team was fanning me while I waited to walk down the aisle in the beautiful garden! They took care of everything and made sure everything was running on schedule. Also, my husband and I had a sweetheart table at our reception with a personal server, Maria, and she was fantastic! Even during cocktail hour, she was running food and drinks up to the bridal suite while the bridesmaids worked on my bustle and freshened up. There was complimentary champagne and cheese waiting in the bridal suite as well. During the reception, she was exceptional-- before our drinks and food could even get cold, she was there refilling and replacing. We truly felt like royalty. The entire staff was on point! Also, during the wedding planning process itself, everyone was prompt on returning phone calls and emails, and very flexible with any changes or requests. Of course, everything looked beautiful that day as well. My only complaint is that we were unable to access the bridal suite prior to 4pm, unless we wanted to pay an extra $400 or something around that price. However, it worked out that we got ready and did pictures beforehand and arrived at 4pm sharp to do the first look. So, I was not disappointed about not being there earlier! The groom and groomsmen arrived around 3pm for pictures in the living room area, which was not an issue. HIGHLY recommend!!! Suzanne, Tina, and everyone else on staff were great!!

The moment we stepped foot into The Manor House at Commonwealth we knew it was the perfect location for us. Suzanne did a great job accommodating all that we wanted for our day. The food was amazing and we still have guests from our wedding raving about it. Although the weather wasn't promising they set up our ceremony for inside and outside in hopes that we could still have an outdoor ceremony. We were able to and it was beautiful in the gardens. Everything was easy through the planning with the team at The Manor House at Commonwealth.Thanks for a dream wedding!

Shout out to Carmella for setting all of our picture frames and other \"homey\" touches up before the wedding and for the whole staff for packing and loading everything up at the end of the night! Our whole wedding went perfectly, in a large part to the Manor House's awesome staff, attention to detail and organized planning leading up to the big day. Would recommend them in a heartbeat! Everything was perfect from the first time we walked into the house to the end of the best day of our life! \r\rCristy was absolutely amazing to work with and I would suggest this venue to anyone. Cristy made me feel like I was the only bride she had to work with and that I was always her top priority! She always made me feel as ease and always answered all of my questions in an extremely timely manor. Thank you thank you, Cristy!! \r\rI have never heard a bad remark about the manor house before we had our wedding and I now know why. Our guests have continued to rave about the French fry bar, the steak and fish... And loved our candy buffet! The professionalism and personal attention that is given by Cristy is enough to say “I Do” to – no pun intended! Cristy was very friendly, attentive and very helpful during this first-time process for this bride-to-be. At the constant attention of our guest – while bride and groom and wedding party were taking pictures – the entire staff was super attentive Julie and Richard ALSO was AWESOME! The wait staff provided THE BEST 10-star service and personality. that were designated to our guest tables were AWESOME! Our guests are raving about the venue and the staff from the food, drinks, and to the staff. Richard (in addition to my husband) made me feel like a princess and I LOVED IT! My only disappointment I didn’t get to eat enough of all the wonderful food – but our guest did so again that’s GREAT! The Manor House at Commonwealth was the best choice for my wedding! Jenn was so organized and helpful throughout the whole planning process that it made everything easy. My dream was to have an outdoor ceremony with the reception immediately afterwards. Unfortunately, we got married during the hottest week of this summer, so they moved our ceremony indoors. I was worried about how it would look, but they made it beautiful! Everyone at the Manor House was extremely helpful. When my veil broke off of the comb right before the ceremony, Jenn immediately took it to get fixed for me. The servers took great care of us and made sure we had whatever we wanted or needed throughout the entire night. Guests complimented the pacing and service of everyone there and LOVED the food!!! Afterwards, all of the items we brought in to the Manor House were cleaned and packaged up nicely for us to take back home. I didn't have to worry about a single thing and was able to celebrate with all of our guests at this beautiful venue. We also got gorgeous pictures on the property! I loved everything about my wedding at The Manor House at Commonwealth!

You get so much for your budget and the staff is friendly and ready to go above and beyond. When we arrived everything was set for an inside ceremony since the weather had been so rainy for the past week, but since it was blue skies, our wedding coordinator asked if we wanted to go outside and I said yes and within no time everything was reset up outside and ready to go – no delay at all! All of our guests said they felt that they were taken care of and had a very personal service feel. The food was amazing! People still are talking about it over two weeks later! My husband and I were married and had our reception at the Manor House on May 18th, 2013. It was beyond what we could've imagined. It happened to be raining and with that, everything was still perfect. Jenn worked it out so that everything ran smoothly and everyone was impressed with how both our ceremony and reception turned out. If there were any problems, I had no idea. I had no worries the entire time there and everything was taken care of. \r\rALL of our guests are still raving about our day. The food, decor, and the service were all equally amazing. We were so impressed with the staff, Chris was GREAT and attentive to my husband and I the entire night! They ALL went above and beyond. I would most definitely recommend the Manor House to another bride and groom, you won't be disappointed.

I just got married last weekend at The Manor House and could not be more pleased with the service, the food, the decor . . . EVERYTHING! My husband I worked with Cristy while planning our wedding and she was the best. We live half way across the country, so we were planning a wedding long distance and Cristy was super accommodating about meeting with us when we were in Horsham for a long weekend here or there. She was also extremely easy to get in touch with and responded quickly to all the hundreds of questions I bombarded her with during the planning process. We especially loved that it was a one-stop shop - we held our ceremony, cocktail hour & reception at The Manor House. Also, our pricing included an open bar, TONS! of food , valet service, our cake, and set up and break downs. We loved that there was one point-person rather than 10 different vendors to coordinate. On the actual night of the wedding our expectations were just blown away. The service was amazing - not only towards us & our parents, but several of our guests remarked on how they never actually had to go to the bar as servers were constantly asking if they needed a drink. The food was not only delicious, but there was so much of it (a much better situation than getting to the dance party & still being starved). The chef was very considerate of food allergies and prepared a special meal for a cousin with multiple allergies and also allowed us to bring in a special allergen-free cupcake for her. After all I had heard about The Manor House, my expectations were high, but to say the night went perfectly and without a hitch - that, I would have never expected. Thank you Manor House!

On the actual night of the wedding our expectations were just blown away. The service was amazing - not only towards us & our parents, but several of our guests remarked on how they never actually had to go to the bar as servers were constantly asking if they needed a drink. The food was not only delicious, but there was so much of it (a much better situation than getting to the dance party & still being starved). The chef was very considerate of food allergies and prepared a special meal for a cousin with multiple allergies and also allowed us to bring in a special allergen-free cupcake for her. After all I had heard about The Manor House, my expectations were high, but to say the night went perfectly and without a hitch - that, I would have never expected. Thank you Manor House!

Our wedding at the Manor House at Commonwealth was everything we could have imagined it to be and more! From the initial planning phases to the wedding itself, we were thoroughly impressed. Jennifer Monastero helped us coordinate every detail and answered every question we had quickly and with care. At our 2-day out meeting, we met with the rest of the staff (Julie, Richard and Sang) and felt very comfortable and confident in their abilities. The day was perfect. Guests raved about the food, and we also were able to say that the food was delicious (because we were quietly reminded to eat by the MH staff)! We were particularly pleased when we arrived at the Manor House and there were hor d'oeuvres and drinks waiting for us in the bridal suite. We were famished and it was as if the staff had read our minds. Julie was very attentive throughout the evening, keeping us aware of upcoming events (i.e. cake, garter, etc). Everything was delicious, and the dessert trio was incredible. At the end of the night the whole staff helped clean everything up and load it into predetermined cars (we weren’t even aware that the clean-up was happening).\r\rOverall, it was a perfect day and we cannot thank the Manor House enough for all of their help. Jennifer was truly a pleasure to work with and she made us feel as if we were her only bride and groom that she was working with. She even missed a personal event so to be there to receive us at the Manor House as we were running later than anticipated. Her care and expertise are something that helped us throughout the entire process. It was a wonderful experience overall and we definitely recommend the Manor House to any couple looking for the perfect location for their wedding!

We are writing our review the day after our wedding - which should show just how amazing this place is! My husband had the idea to check out this location in the first place because he had experienced the delicious food at a golf outing. From the moment we walked into our first meeting and met Jenn, our wedding coordinator, we were sold. She truly made us feel like we were the most important people, and worked with us on every single request we had. Every meeting with her made us even more sure of our choice to get married at the Manor House. Especially the last week before the wedding, when I was running around with last minute things, I did not have one worry once I dropped off the final items with Jenn, including tips to vendors. Everything was handled for me, it was so wonderful and stress-free!\r\rOn our wedding day, I could not have been more pleased. The staff went above and beyond to cater to my husband and I's every request. Food and drinks were constantly brought to us by our wonderful personal server Amie - she was amazing! The food was outstanding, and drinks were delicious! Booking with the Manor House, you also get to have your choice of a few bakeries to do your wedding cake. We chose Bredenbeck's Bakery, which proved to be an excellent choice - the cake was not only beautiful but absolutely delicious. I've never seen guests at a wedding actually complement food AND cake at a wedding so much in my life! \r\rI will hands-down recommend the Manor House for anyone's wedding! Absolutely stunning building and grounds, wonderful staff and wedding coordinators, amazing food, all-inclusive - what the heck else could you possibly ask for?! you are a fool if you do not choose the Manor House for your wedding :)

We are still coming down from the unbelievable high we experienced this weekend!! Simply stated...Manor House is TOP NOTCH! I could not have imagined things coming together more beautifully than they did. From the moment we walked in the door for our first meeting and met Jenn, I knew Manor House was the place for our wedding...I just needed to convince the others...trust me, it didn't take much. Jenn, \"handled\" me perfectly for the past 9 months. All of my questions (there were many) and requests were answered quickly and professionally. Every time we left a meeting, Mike and I looked at each other and said, we SO picked the right place! One of the best parts was attending another wedding at Manor House in October....the entire night Mike and I kept looking around from our guests point of view. We were SO thrilled with the service as a guest, little did we realize we would feel like royalty on our day! I still can't believe the way Jenn, Richard and Sang took the many boxes of \"stuff\" we brought over on July 5th and created something that went beyond what I had ever envisioned. They calmed my frazzled nerves about the sun invading our ceremony and helped set up the most beautiful location for us to exchange our vows. Richard and Jenn even helped wipe my tears of joy when I was about to walk down the aisle. (Yes, I am crying again as I write this!) How cute were Mike and Amie?! They greeted us as we escaped after our ceremony. They were so bubbly and enthusiastic. You would never know they do this every weekend. At one point, Mike's button came off his tux. Amie was ready to go sew the button back on for him. (He was telling everyone about this the next day!) I still can't get over the way everything was loaded into cars at the end of the night and we didn't have to think about a thing. AND THAT POPCORN BAR...I still can't get over how ADORABLE that was!! You took one little idea and made it even cuter than the PINTEREST picture! As you can see, I could go on ALL day! In short, thank you to Manor House for creating the night of our dreams!! I had my wedding at The Manor House at Commonwealth in May 2012. I have to say- It was absolutely perfect! All the wedding planning with the staff at The Manor House was easy. They were always available for ideas and questions. They didn't bother you every month.. they let it all come together and they couldn't be any more thorough! Christy was my coordinator but the entire staff is amazing! The day of, they treat you like royalty..they stay on top of every detail and everything went off without a hitch. They help control all your other vendors and make sure the timings stay on point. \rI've never heard so many compliments on the food! It was amazing.. the filet was perfectly done for everyone's taste... everyone was so happy with the service. \rThe grounds and house are spotless and beautiful! \rWe couldn't be happier about everything- absolutely no complaints! We would highly suggest The Manor House at Commonwealth in Horsham, PA to anyone that wants a stressfree, wonderful wedding!

I had my wedding at the Manor House on 10/9/11, and it was, in a word, phenomenal. The food was incredible (seriously, it's as good as a four-star restaurant--try the crab cakes), the service was attentive and top notch, and the setting was beautiful. I love the mix of historic home (the building dates to the early 1700s) and modern amenities and ballroom. When we were searching for a venue, we wanted a place that had a lovely outdoor space to have our ceremony--and a good rain plan if necessary. We were fortunate to have a (hot!) sunny day, but Manor House not only has a great plan B, it also has a good plan C. I loved the separate room for the cocktail hour and the spacious veranda overlooking the golf course, plus the living room and foyer from the old building make it distinct and homey. The prices are very reasonable since food (including cake), service, linens, and open bar are included. My on-site coordinator, Cristy, is a total sweetheart and very helpful and accommodating. She never made me feel like a crazy bride with all my questions, and she responded promptly to my requests. She really knows her stuff, and she's soothing to boot. Overall, my experience with the Manor House was pretty much perfect. All my guests raved about our wedding, even the ones who are not typically effusive in their praise. I know I'm biased, but it was definitely the best wedding I've ever been to. :)

Once we visited the Manor House I knew it was perfect. Only downside, there was one Saturday open in August because another couple cancelled. The next day Cristy called me to let me know another couple was looking at the day we wanted. I told her we wanted it and she booked it for us. She was awesome in giving us a heads up! Then on our wedding day, good ole Hurricane Irene was expected to come. She called me numerous times days before just to check in and asked if I wanted to move the wedding up. She was so helpful. The wedding day came and of course so did the Hurricane. We were supposed to have our ceremony outside, but unfortunately that didn't happen. The Manor House team decorated the inside beautifully. During the reception everyone was very helpful and attentive. I couldn't have asked for better! I HIGHLY recommend them!

The Manor House at Commonwealth is an absolutely gorgeous venue. Our wedding ceremony was outside and the reception inside. It was in August and the nice thing was the veranda outside the ball room and cocktail hour room is where people could go out and enjoy the perfect summer night we were lucky to have. Cristy was amazing, helping us the whole way through the wedding planning process. The food was the absolute best. The staff the night of the wedding were absolutely perfect. Every guest has said they felt so attended to and felt anything they needed was possible. I love everything about it. I would definitely recommend this venue.

Every guest has said they felt so attended to and felt anything they needed was possible. I love everything about it. I would definitely recommend this venue.

This is the place for you if you don't want to worry about a billion details on the day of your wedding. The Manor coordinates the food, cake, liquor, and a plethora of other details I didn't even think of. They arrange all decorations that you drop off for them and make sure all of the night's events go smoothly. They are truly there to serve the bride, groom, and their families. They make you feel so special! I would recommend this place to anyone. And the food is outstanding!

Everything we wanted and more. The event coordinators made our entire planning process easy and as stress-free as possible. Guests are still talking about the incredible food & service. Ceremony site was perfect. Can't wait to go back as a guest one day!!! :)

Not only is the Manor house an absolutly stunning venue, but the food was amazing as well. Cristy was so helpful and willing to help me with any of my special requests. The Manor House is a beautiful venue.

We were married at the Manor House September 19, 2010 and I can truly say that we had a perfect day. The staff was amazing. They made sure that we had everything we needed and were in contact with all of our vendors prior to the event which saved us time and made it a stress-free day. The food was fantastic. We had an entree tasting prior to the event and there were plenty of options to choose from. The Manor House is a separate building from the country club so it is only your guests which is a nice feature. If you want to have the ceremony on-site (which we did) they have a beautiful outdoor location and a back-up location inside in case of bad weather. There are also lots of great spots for photos. Cristy (Manor House Staff) was a contact for us and a huge help throughout the entire process. She was always avaliable to answer questions or give suggestions. The only negative that I can think of is the price. It is expensive, but definitely worth the price because you and your guests get VIP treatment all night. We had our wedding on a Sunday which helped keep the price down a little as well. Several of our guests told us that our wedding was the best wedding that they had ever been to. I think that pretty much says it all!

My wedding reception was held at the Manor House at Commonwealth in July. I worked with Christy and she was amazing! She took care of all the details and answered any questions/concerns I had in a timely manner. The location was great and it overlooks a beautiful golf course. I especially appreciated the covered veranda! It poured during cocktail hour but my guests were still able to be outside to enjoy the view. My guests raved about the food (especially the crabcakes!) and the service. The staff even took care of everything at the end of the night by packing all the gifts,decorations, and leftover cake into my parents car so we did not have to worry about it. I highy recommend this venue!

The personal service! We (parents, in-laws, attendants, bride and groom) were treated like queens and kings. Meticulous service. Delicious hors doeuvers, wonderful liquor selection (bartender even went to storage to get a specific bourbon for a guest). Ideal site for outdoor cocktail hour, includes covered outdoor patio in case of bad weather. Private location. Elegant, spacious, unique location. Classy bridal suite. I would do it all over again in a heart beat.
