Michele Vazquez(other)5 out of 5 Rating
We went to visit the mansion in January and knew as soon as we drove up and stepped foot inside that this was where we wanted to get married. Jelel was the best with communication and with making sure everything was planned to perfection. Everyone on the staff was amazing and made sure everything was taken care of the entire planning process and the wedding day. Our Maître d' Mike was beyond perfection. He was a blessing and ensured ALL DETAILS were perfect and addressed anything that came up in real time so our day went on without a hitch. We had the most amazing wedding reception and could not have chosen a better venue. All of our guests were impressed with the presence of the mansion and were so impressed with the beauty of the mansion. The room block was also great and our guests felt comfortable the night of. Thank you to everyone at the Mansion! Reviewed on 05-01-2024
Kimberly Rivas(bride)4 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 04-02-2023 I had my wedding here 2/4/23, I booked two months in advance and had an amazing team of event coordinators that helped me every step of the way. I had the honor to work with Jelel and Olivia. I cannot thank them enough for everything they did for me. My experience was great from the morning all the way to night time. My husband however had a different experience. His grooms suite was closed for renovations 1 day before we were supposed to arrive. Olivia immediately called me as soon as she found out to let me know he will be placed in the mansion’s library and will still receive all the accommodations. Well, when he arrived he never received the breakfast platter that is brought to each suite. Apparently the groomsmen asked the waiters for food and coffee numerous times and they only ended up receiving 4 tiny croissants 10 minutes before they had to leave for the church (Which is why I gave them 4 stars) Someone also brought in a tour to my husbands suite and asked them to leave while they showed them the room. My husband made it clear that jelel and Olivia were not involved as they were busy organizing the vendors and decor for the party. Once Jelel got wind of this, she immediately went into action. I opted to come in a day before to stay the night since we had an early morning, I really recommend it! It is less stressful. We took advantage of the pool which was amazing and had dinner at the restaurant. I was very shocked that the service that night was extremely slow for the amount of people and the food was cold. We ordered chicken fingers and fries for a child and the chicken was completely raw in the middle. We had to send it back and after another hour, and us asking for the child’s food, it finally same back out. My bridal attendant was out sick and Debbie (who was there at 7am and even helped us the day before at check in) immediately stepped up to the plate. She held my hand, calmed me down, took really good care of me AND my husband! Because apparently she was the one running around trying to get him food! I understand many places are understaffed but the servers in the restaurant and Morning need some more customer service training. Every single waiter at the party was new and was absolutely amazing. Debbie, Jelel, Olivia made hiccups disappear without me even knowing!! They took such good care of me and my husband. They made my dreams come true. If I had to do it all over again, I would still do it at the mansion at Glen cove. Yes it’s pricey but you get what you pay for. The pictures and overall service I received from these three beautiful ladies made it all worth it!! And did I mention they are pet friendly?? My dog sat in her stroller the entire night, right next to us and had SO much fun. We opted to do brunch the next morning and it was delicious! Cassandra helped us out a lot and even followed me out with my wedding cake and reminded me to freeze it for next year. Jelel I love you, Debbie, I love you! Olivia, I love you! Christina Monteleone(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 17-09-2022 I recently had my rehearsal dinner, brunch and hotel room block at glen cove mansion. I was nervous about the weekends plans because of the reviews I read on Facebook and the knot - however, I was blown away by the excellent service, attention to detail, and professionalism of the staff the entire weekend we were there, with every event we hosted there. Roxanna was our coordinator and she was not only so sweet and easy to work with, she was proactive, handled any questions or requests I had seamlessly and quickly and did so with the most positive and pleasant attitude. She is the best asset the mansion has as she is the one who really ensured we had a wonderful experience. Mike was the matri d and he was also excelled - I can’t say enough good things. He was so hands on during the rehearsal dinner - working with his staff, helping out with all aspects of the flow of the night, and again ensured everything was perfect. I was so impressed as the mansion far exceeded our expections as did the service thanks to roxanna and mike! Reviewed on 02-10-2022
Kate Mallinson(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 13-08-2022 We had a beautiful wedding at the Glen Cove Mansion! Mike the Maitre D is professional, organized, and diligent. He ensured our day ran smoothly and was set up just the way we wanted it. Vanessa my bridal attendant helped me with everything from carrying my train to bringing me food and water while I was busy taking pictures. The food staff and bartenders are excellent. There was no waiting in long lines to get food at cocktail hour or a drink throughout the night. Cassandra our event coordinator worked with us to ensure the day was everything we wanted. It was so convenient to have our ceremony, cocktail hour, reception, after party, and hotel all in one place. Our guests loved going to different parts of the mansion throughout the night. This is a big operation and communication is not always perfect, but you can be assured that your wedding day will be everything you dreamed of. Reviewed on 21-08-2022
Wendy Goldberg(other)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 29-05-2022 We just had our daughter's wedding at The Mansion at Glen Cove on May 29th and it did not disappoint! The weather was perfect and we had an outside ceremony on the patio with a cocktail hour around the pool. It was magical. The reception continued on in the ballroom and the after party was in the Embassy Room. Everything was handled with care and expertise due to three key people- Astrid, our event manager who hand held us the entire day, Mike, the maitre d who ran the party seamlessly and Luis who ran the front desk and helped us with all our hotel needs. The mansion was ours from early morning where the bridesmaids got ready in the bridal suite and the groomsmen in the suite down the hall, to the wee hours of the night where our guests danced the night away.Astrid handled every detail with the utmost professionalism, and kept me calm when needed. Mike was extremely hands on with every aspect of the wedding and consulted with me on every detail right up until the start of the party. He made sure to bring me into the ballroom as soon as it was set up and honored any request we had from start to finish. I also have to give a shout out to the chef. The dinner was amazing! Luis was very attentive with running the hotel desk and helped us with all our guests needs.I highly recommend The Mansion at Glen Cove! Reviewed on 05-06-2022
Gellena Lukats(bride)1 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 05-09-2021 I had my wedding there, and they absolutely ruined my special day and are the most disorganized people I have ever met.The phones DO NOT work. My guests would call to book a room and the lines would be busy or out of service. They’d email and get no response. They even overcharged some guests and the rooms were so bad we actually had electric issues/which are a safety hazard and we had some guests opt to leave after our wedding, rather than stay at this horrific venue. None of the amenities: pool, massages etc. were open and no it wasn't because of COVID. It's because they book events during the weekends, so you can't actually use it but they don't tell you this. We had some out of town guests bored out of their mind. Unfortunately, there was a hurricane that weekend, but they said it would be OK. Every room I needed to get ready in/have my dress in had puddles and leakage. Even during the reception, some tables had leaking ceilings. The bathroom was DISGUISTING and overflowing and did I mention that the handles broke and my bridesmaids and I were stuck in the room waiting to be rescued? The venue mentioned this happens a ton. There were no signs/coordinator to be found and no one was told where to go -- the signature drink was just never done, kosher meals or even runner. There was no seats at cocktail hour or places for people to eat. They cancelled my room for no reason, and my mom/I had to wait in the lobby for hours and I almost missed my rehearsal dinner. Another brides guests were trying to check in & actually missed parts of her wedding, due to their efficiencies. They told me there would only be one wedding a day, there were at least three. The hotel ended up putting me in the room that was so moldy we had to move, and the shower wasn't even working. The venue said they would move my items from one room to another, they just didn't. Several guests had to move for safety reasons. The disregard for customer care was awful. My grandparents were put in a room with stairs and my mother in law in a room literally with chairs/tables in it. When they offered a make good, the glasses with champagne either never arrived or were covered in a white gunky liquid. The Maître d' was great, the food staff/chef and Debbie were great, but because of the nature of this venue, I think they need to move on to greener pastures, as this place is just waiting for a lawsuit. Food was also served way too late, at 11pm & coffee/tea when everyone was leaving. The food order at my after party, was also wrong. The bar actually made my friends chug drinks, before getting another one for a friend, which is SUCH a liability. Did I mention they ran out of vodka an hour in and got rid of my flower chuppah right after, so I couldn't even get photos?Wedding coordinator came 3 hours late, with a dead phone and was never anywhere to be found. She also yelled at my mom and could not be bothered to be at my event, until asking for a check, my mother had already written. She literally ghosted my wedding party the whole day. I had to confirm guests and # of people at least 5 times for them, even a day leading up to my event, teaching them to count. The lack of organization here, is awful. Honestly, if I could redo it, I would pick another venue in a heartbeat, and have lost my deposit when I saw all the warning flags. During COVID, I couldn't get anyone on the phone for a year,Worst part? After literally ruining my wedding, they gave me $500. Reviewed on 04-11-2021

Michelle Haines(bride)4 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 02-07-2021 I am absolutely in love with the Mansions history and charm. I knew I wanted my wedding here the minute I walked through the door. There is a lot of upkeep that the mansion needs to work on such as landscaping and air conditioning throughout the main floor. Our pictures are beautiful and they accommodated us when it began to rain and we needed our ceremony indoors. I love that they only host one wedding per day. Remember that it is a public hotel so there will be people walking around at your venue who are not part of your wedding. Debbie is newly in charge and I know she will have the Mansion 100000x better than it ever was soon enough. Reviewed on 11-08-2021

It was terrible. I was told that my room was not available. I was provided with double bed room with NO water. Yeap, my wedding night and I was provided with the worse service. Some of my guest ended up staying there and guess what? had to change rooms up to 3 times because of dirty sheets, bugs on the wall and yeap you guest it: NO WATER. Gloria Cordova(bride)2 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 17-07-2021 I booked this venue with Steve Carle for my wedding in July. Many things were promised for our wedding but all of sudden he was no longer associated with the venue. We then worked with Debbie and she said they will honor all the agreements. Since then it has been horrible, no communication with any manager (Debbie, Paul, and Ebboni). We booked rooms for guests and they had nothing but horrible experience. Our cousin was given a room that had already 10 people staying there. My father and grandfather who have trouble walking were given rooms far away that required them to walk more then they can due to their health. In our contract we were told that any couple who are staying and are not using their venue are not allowed to take pictures in their grounds. However they were taking pictures the same time as my wedding pictures and my photographer and I had to wait until they were done. What should have taken less than hour to takes pictures took longer than expected. I met Ebboni on the rehearsal dinner and we asked if the pub ( where the after party will take place) a/c was working since one of groomsmen went up to check it out and realized the temperature was extremely hot. The pub felt like 85 degree and this was brought to her attention and she assured the ac will be up and functioning for our event. The day of my wedding as I went up to my room to change for the afterparty , my guest called me that they were moved to the embassy due to the a/c not working. The embassy didn’t have half of what the pub had and what we paid for. Yet again it ended pretty early and we were upset since we received a bill where it stated we paid from 11:30 pm to 1:00am . We showed this to the lady Cassandra but she insisted the contract said from 10:30pm-12:00 am . It seems again people at the mansion do not communicate at all. The next day Debbie approached me during my brunch as I am talking to my guests. Of course I am in no mood to argue and have conversation especially with them after the horrible experience with them. She showed the original contract but I told her she was cc in the email of the bill Cindy emailed me on July 10. I told Debbie if she realized the confusion these emails have caused because if you showed this to any third party they will clearly state that we paid and were charged for the 11:30-1200 am. Any how she offered 2 complimentary stay for 1 year anniversary , at this point I gave up with arguing with them . I was done with this place and didn’t want to deal with Debbie or anyone else even after she said it was an “innocent mistake” by Cindy and she didn’t want write her up. The only thing that was great was the food that chef Rodrigo made for us and working with Mike. Chef Rodrigo and Mike’s team during the rehearsal dinner, the cocktail hour and the reception saved our wedding. All the events they were associated with went off without a hitch. It seems only Rodrigo and Mike know what they are doing when it comes to customer service and managing a team. Clearly there is no management at this location. No one knows what is going on or even bothers to answer the phone or emails. The rooms are outdated and have no working phone lines. I will not recommend anyone to have their venue here or stay. Mandy Del Valle(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 22-10-2022 Cannot wait to get married here next year! The Mansion at Glen Cove has been a blessing after what me and my fiancé have been through with canceling our wedding this past year due to the Pandemic. Our previous venue did not want to give us any of our payments back and was super difficult. After this experience we decided to find a completely different type of venue and we are so glad we did. The Glen Cove Mansion is a million times better than our old venue and the service is exceptional. Our Sales manager Debbie Giasemis was warm and inviting from the very beginning. She listened to all of our ideas even the silly ones and suggested some fun ideas of her own. She made sure she understood our vision and goals and gave us the best options to achieve them. She has a vendor contact for literally anything you may need and so far all of her recommendations has been excellent. The venue itself is gorgeous and they maintain the space beautifully. Debbie always responds to my e-mails and calls right away and is making wedding planning so much fun for my fiancé and I. As tough as this past year has been we are so excited for 2022 and we owe a big part of that to the Glen Cove Mansion and Debbie! Reviewed on 24-05-2021
Samantha Tal(bride)3 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 09-05-2021 We had some hiccups in the planning process. A few misunderstandings about where the ceremony would take place (in the tent vs. Not in the tent), and how much of the mansion we could use for our wedding guests. Lisa Cuesta(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 27-12-2020 We were really lucky to work with Steve and his team for our wedding. After rescheduling our wedding (twice) in 2020, we decided to have a micro-wedding with 20 family and friends. We organized the details with Steve and team within a week of the big day. They were really accommodating and flexible with us. We visited twice: once to look at the space, pick the menu, and determine seating/table arrangements, and the second time to finalize the details. Everything else was coordinated by text/phone. On the big day, everything was set up for us - the tables were beautifully arranged, the room was warm and inviting, and the AV was set up for us. We felt like the staff was very responsive to our needs and guests’ requests. The Mansion also has many beautiful rooms where you can take pictures before the ceremony. We did not get ready on-site, so I can’t speak to the bridal suite. The food was delicious, the cadence/timing of serving the meals was on point, and everyone knew what we needed (knife and plates for cake cutting, for example). One thing to note is that Steve is pretty verbal, so I suggest you write things down when you come to an agreement on details of the budget. Reviewed on 10-01-2021
Kyle Wynne(groom)4 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 19-07-2019 My wife and I were looking for a venue that could provide a beautiful outdoor ceremony, with a grand indoor reception, but also had an attached hotel for sleeping arrangements. We had a great deal of family who would have to fly out to visit, and we wanted to spend as much time with them as possible and forego any shuttling. Glen Cove Mansion checked all our boxes when we were looking for a venue. Right away we knew this was the perfect place for us to celebrate our marriage with our family and friends. We were lucky to work with Dina, she shared stories of previous weddings and helped us picture our own. At the time the venue was transitioning to a new chef and menu, so we had a choice between two. The food was very good, and the options were abundant. The Mansion was easy to work with for selecting and changing items around. The food tasting was a great experience, we got to spend some time with Dina go over the selections and tasting the wine and food options. Dina was great to work with, she was able to help make sure we received what we planned for and were promised. Choosing our cake was very easy, we made an appointment to meet with the bakery the Mansion works with and decide on our cake. We decided on a nice custom cake and paid a bit extra for some additions. Correspondence was easy and Dina was always the person we were in contact with throughout our planning, all the way until the end.The Wedding Day:The main Mansion provides a grand entrance when entering the venue. The grounds are extremely well kept, with fountains and gardens, it was perfect for our summer wedding. Our ceremony was held outdoors in the main courtyard. It is a large space and provided adequate seating for all our guests (~180). Not much decoration needs to be added to the courtyard as it is already quite beautiful on its own. We were able to have our cocktail hour in the west wing of the original Mansion, which was perfect. The original floors and decor provided an authentic atmosphere for us and our guests. Between the two rooms and the hallway, and outdoor area, there was sufficient room for guests to mingle about and enjoy libations and snacks. After the cocktail hour our guests were escorted through the Mansion, going through the east wing and into the reception area. This allows guests to keep the feel of the original Mansion as the reception area was added onto the Mansion later. The ballroom is large with great chandeliers, it is easy to customize this area into whatever feel you want. We used every bit of the dance floor as our guests danced and partied all night. At the end of the night, guests spending the night were able to take the short walk back to their rooms to recover. Some negatives:1) The liquor provided in the open bar was underwhelming. They had adequate whiskey choices, but they did not have any rose (a crowd favorite at summer events) and they also only had Jose Cuervo for tequila. We wound up purchasing a few cases of rose and tequila ourselves to provide to guests.2) The detached hotel area did not seem in the best shape, and I know some guests had to change rooms for various reasons. The hotel was in the process of updating areas, so updated areas were noticeably nicer. In my opinion, the bridal suite we stayed in could use some updated furniture, they appeared heavily used.We had a fantastic wedding and our guests had a great time! They still rave about it, and the Mansion was a huge part of making that true. Reviewed on 16-07-2020

The food was delicious, the convenience of having hotel rooms right there for guests was just what we wanted, and we knew this was our venue the second we walked in the door. It was a homey and intimate feel with the class and vintage appeal. We didn’t want a “wedding factory”. We wanted a venue that was special and unique and the Mansion was just that. I was completely beside myself and I started calling other venues in Long Island to see what I could do on such short notice. My husband and I had previously been to a few other events at the Glen Cove mansion so I already knew that the venue was beautiful. I was able to change everything in 15 days, and really looking back on everything, the only thing I would have changed is booking with the Glen Cove Mansion originally! Everyone RAVED about the food (new chef, new menu, MORE included!). Not one bad thing was said from the cocktail hour to the reception in regards to the food. Most people said they were surprised because other venues have mediocre food BUT NOT THE MANSION! With all the new renovations the mansion is doing the reception room is BEAUTIFUL!!!! The new wooden floors are gorgeous and made the room look ten times better! The only thing I would advise others is that based on your number of guests you may want to have the cocktail hour in their new renovated room. I still choose to go with the historic/vintage/mansion-esque rooms to go with my Gatsby theme. Only one person said she thought the rooms were too small and there wasn't enough space (but do you, BRIDES). Also, if you are staying there make sure your block is close to the reception area and not far away. We were far and it took a good amount of time to get to the room to the main lobby (prob 7 mins). But if I had to do my wedding again (which trust me I've been thinking about how much fun I had) I would hands down pick the Mansion at Glen Cove again. When we booked the venue, we were assured of gold star service due to new management but dealt with severe unprofessionalism and had multiple issues. I have never encountered such terrible service. We have since been in touch with the mansion and while they did credit us for the cake and brunch (see below), none of the other issues were even entertained/addressed – since they were quoted as “not material.” The mansion is beautiful. Due to our vendors and family we were able to salvage the day – HOWEVER, I advise anyone choosing this venue to check anything the venue agrees to, check invoices & get EVERYTHING in writing! List of issues encountered (These are just highlights):Before event:-When negotiating, we had asked for a version to redline and were told dismissively, “We do not do this and what is a redline?”-Unprofessional emails: Consistently received emails consisting of emojis, asking to “discuss things over the phone verses handling over email” (versus in writing to have record)-Tasting: After stressing the importance of no alcohol in preparation of food or ingredients, we were served a handful of items that consisted of alcohol in the ingredients.-“877” number: Many wedding guests were not able to get through and if they did, there was no record of our room block. When I rose the issue, they said “Oh yeah there have been some problems with that number.” Booked +40 rooms-Invoice Issues – (CHECK INVOICES) Every invoice we received was incorrect. After reviewing the bills, I was told “… ☹ thanks for picking that up - its a big chunk!!” Event Weekend:-Hotel: +Many guests were not listed on my room block. Resulting in people not receiving our negotiated rate and the receiving of welcome bags.+Guests received the wrong level of room+Guests were supposed to be in main building (didn’t happen)+Hallway rugs were a hazard, severely rippled, & guests were tripping on them. 2 guests took nasty falls. +There was a party in the pool area that was left a mess with wet towels & items left around +Keycards were constantly not working.+We called at 8am for cleaning of bridal suite, we were cut short and told “we will see what we can do.” -Daytime:+Bridal attendant: Supposed to be available 1/2p. Around 5p, no one had come. Asked front desk where they were, the desk said they had been there for hours. Dina helped us out every step of the way and really went above and beyond to make sure everything went smoothly. Everyone raved about how delicious the food was and how it was such a gorgeous venue. Having Pratt's open after the reception was a bit hit. Many of our guests loved going up there for an after-party. It was also so convenient that it is also a hotel so everyone could stay in one place. I may be biased since it was my own, but it was honestly the best wedding I've ever been to! It was an amazing day and I will always have happy memories at the Glen Cove Mansion. Reviewed on 17-01-2019
Frances Cabrera(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 23-11-2018 Ladies, if you are looking for a remarkable venue with amazing food and a wonderful staff then look no more, The Mansion is the place to have your wedding reception. My wedding was on November 23rd and I absolutely cannot say anything negative about the entire experience. We have family members who are still raving about the salmon. We worked with Johanne Crawford from the very beginning and she is very professional and very accomodating. Best part is your guest dont need to travel, they can stay at the hotel AND it's pet friendly. With a bar on the 2nd floor you and your guest can continue the party after yours :-) I highly recommend that you at least go and visit. It's a great location, plenty of parking, indoor pool, gym. And the rooms are recently renovated, we stood in a suite and it was AMAZING!! We would def. go back just to stay at the hotel. Food portions were great, and the beverages are top shelf! That was a big plus for us! Thank you Glen Cove for making my wedding a memorable one, and to all the staff for being so amazing and accommodating. We will def. have out next big event there again!!! Sarah Mansouri(bride)4 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 06-10-2018 We used the Glen Cove Mansion for a few events during our wedding weekend in October, including a hotel block for about 100 out-of-town guests, an after-party at Pratt's and a Sunday brunch. Let me say that everything turned out perfectly. Everyone had a room, the after-party was great and brunch was incredible! Peiting Wu, our coordination, was the BEST!!! If you are planning anything at the Glen Cove mansion use her 100%. She gets 6 out of 5 stars!Honest note for all brides/grooms: Before we met with Peiting, things were very stressful and disorganized at the Glen Cove Mansion. We started with a coordinator who ended up leaving a few months before our wedding. She did not pass along our information and there ended up being a lot of misunderstandings. Lessons learned 1) use Peiting because she is the best and 2) make sure you stay organized, receive written proof of anything scheduled and ask A LOT of questions. Also, a lot of the rooms are not renovated, so make sure quests are aware of what rooms they are booking if you have more picky guests. Lastly, there are often multiple weddings in the hotel at the same time- so something to consider! But, overall, we do not have one regret using the Glen Cove Mansion for a hotel block and other events. It turned out perfect and we are very thankful! Reviewed on 12-01-2019
Evan Handsman(groom)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 02-09-2018 We got married at Glen Cove Mansion over Labor Day weekend and had the wedding of our dreams! Johanne was great throughout our end to end process from setting up the contract to helping make sure all the details were to our liking. She was very responsive, detail-oriented, and helpful throughout the process. The venue was exactly what we were looking for – beautiful venue, one wedding at a time, outside ceremony, beautiful ballroom, with a hotel on site - a true end to end experience for us and our guests. Our guests stayed at The Mansion, and we also had our after party upstairs in the pub and our brunch in the ballroom the next day. We had a very positive overall experience, but we had some hiccups with the room block/booking for our guests (booking on the block through The Mansion's website would have been helpful and saved some headaches) and we had a some logistical hiccups such as some guests (including the bride's parents) not receiving their welcome bags. Overall, an extremely positive experience throughout all of the planning and with the venue overall. Highly recommend! Reviewed on 03-12-2018
Stephanie Christel(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 03-11-2018 The Glen Cove Mansion was the perfect place for our wedding reception! It had the perfect combination of old world charm and new world amenities that fit our personalities so well! The newly renovated bridal suite was beautiful to get ready in and had plenty of space for me and my bridesmaids to get ready. I do wish they had a similar situation for the groom and groomsmen as they got ready in my husbands hotel room, which was a little tight as I learned after the wedding (he had 6 groomsmen).Having the hotel rooms right at the location and the pub upstairs made for peace of mind that my guests would be safe after a long night of partying and the ability to continue the festivities long after the reception was done. Our guest were able to take over the pub afterwards and have a great time, between the games and a more relaxed atmosphere to catch up with family and friends! We were also able to have brunch the next morning to say goodbye and thank you to everyone, which was wonderful! The other really nice thing is that their per person price included any of the service fees so that the only thing that wasn't accounted for in the per person price was tax and tips day of. Many of the other locations we looked at had the per person fee +~20% service fee + taxes and tips. This made the per person cost of the Mansion much more comparable to other venues. The one thing to note is to make sure you follow up with your wedding planner if you send them messages, especially closer to the wedding date when everything is a little more time sensitive. Towards the last few weeks a few notes got lost in the shuffle (they were apparently switching from Outlook to Gmail) which made for a bit more follow up than I had hoped was necessary. Overall, we had a great experience with our wedding planner and the Mansion. They were able to work with us and our special requests very well and were extremely accommodating. They were even able to find some birthday candles so we could present cake to a friend whose birthday was that day! They had a wonderful atmosphere and my husband and I couldn't be more pleased with the way the day turned out! Reviewed on 28-11-2018
Heidi Velasquez(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 20-10-2018 The end and start of an amazing journey came to pass at the Glen Cove Mansion. Reggie and I were married at the Mansion on October 20th 2018. I now write this review to inform others that an attentive and knowledgeable staff awaits them at the Mansion. I long dreamed of a mansion-style wedding. The drive into the Mansion's grounds made an immediate impression! The facade of the Mansion is timeless and its interior is no less inspiring as both offered bridal pictures that immediately had me dreaming. The exterior patio offered a fountain view for the ceremony. On the day of the wedding, these aesthetic details of the Mansion all came together. But truly, the service provided by the Mansion is the main reason why I write this review. Over the past several months, Reggie and I came to know Dina Semprini, the Mansion's wonderful event manager. Her ideas helped me bring my vision to life and also quelled our nerves. Dina and the Mansion staff responded to every question I had; at all hours! From the get-go, Dina impressed me as someone who takes pride in delivering the best experience, and she did.The Mansion provided our guests attentive service throughout the reception. Dina and Jocelyn (the bridal assistant) both bustled my wedding dress, which turned out to be a real chore for all of us! The personal touch was truly provided to us all that evening, and, many evenings before October 20.Our guests are still raving about the food, service, drinks, and gorgeous venue. We highly recommend the Glen Cove Mansion and their wonderful staff for a dream wedding. Reviewed on 07-11-2018

The venue speaks for itself- it is completely breath taking and you feel you are living in the Gatsby movie. The grounds are spectacular and there is so much to see. Johanne helped us out throughout the entire wedding process and was amazing throughout. She was there to answer all of my questions and to make sure everything went great. Nick E. was my maitre d' and he was AMAZING! He worked the entire day/ night and was running around all day to make sure every last detail was perfect. He did not let 1 thing go undone and over saw every last detail. He truly made our day so perfect, from directing the vendors what to do/ tell them our wishes down to making sure the smallest details were covered (things I didn't even think of). He truly made our day. The food was out of this world amazing people still talk about it to this day! Andrea F.(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 03-07-2016 Dream Wedding!!! My husband and I got married at the Mansion on July 3, 2016 and it could not have been more wonderful. The Mansion and grounds are so spectacular, especially in the spring and summer when all the flowers are in full bloom. We also had the bonus of being one of the first weddings following the remodeling of the ballroom. When we first booked, we were told a new carpet was being installed. However, we were extremely pleasantly surprised to learn that not only was a new (much nicer) carpet put in, but the whole ball room got a face-lift, along with a revamping of the entire entryway and cocktail hour room. New marble floors, chandeliers, drapes, paint, and hall furniture were installed. Although we thought it was beautiful when we booked, we were blown away by how gorgeous and elegant the place was after the remodel. Our wedding planner was Dina Semprini, who was amazing throughout the whole process. She was very quick to respond to any questions and always tried to work on ways of accommodating any request. She was wonderful to work with and I was honestly a little sad not to speak to her again once the big day was over! The day of the wedding could not have been more smooth. We had the huge bridal suite to ourselves the entire day for the bridal party to get ready and they even arranged lunch for all the girls. The actual wedding flowed perfectly and was very well organized. The food was delicious and there was plenty of room on the dance floor for people to dance all night long. In addition, the Mansion provided a bridal attendant, Sheila, who was the best! She stayed with me the whole night to make sure I was comfortable, fed, and hydrated. She even fluffed my dress to make sure it looked perfect in all the photos. Our Maitre D' was Shaniqua, who also did a wonderful job making sure everything was well organized and running on time. Overall, I could not be happier with our experience at the Glen Cove Mansion and would 100% recommend it for anyone getting married. They helped make our big day so special. My only complaint is that I can't go back and do it again! Reviewed on 09-03-2017

With the beautiful changes that the Mansion has gone through over the past year and its exceptional staff, the Mansion will certainly be the top place to have your wedding on Long Island. One of our guests told us that her husband missed the cocktail hour and their waiter brought him a sampling of our cocktail hour food. Allison Kelly(bride)2 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 17-03-2018 I was very interested in the mansion for my wedding. My fiancé lives in CA so we have to be very strategic about scheduling tours when he's in town. I called the venue a week before he was due to arrive and was told that Johanna would contact me Monday to set up a date. I hadn't heard anything by Wednesday, so I emailed Johanne and her assistant. No one responded. On Thursday I emailed again, and Johanna told me that they couldn't see us over the weekend, just during the week. I told her that we could've come during the week but we never heard back from them, and now we are pressed for time as my fiancé leaves Monday. She wasn't apologetic at all. She didn't seem to care whether or not we wanted to work with them. She said maybe she could quickly show me around Sunday, and I just didn't respond. It was a stressful process, but once we met with Johanne and saw the venue we knew we would be okay! And we were MUCH MORE than okay! Unfortunately, we lost our $5,000 deposit, but changing to this venue from our old one actually was worth it. Johanne accommodated all our needs and wants for this wedding. I had manyyyy questions that she was able to answer immediately and patiently. I could not have had a better sales coordinator to work with. The days leading up to the wedding are always hectic and stressful..however the workers at the mansion made it so easy. They literally took all my stuff and knew what to do with it. I didnt have to worry at all. The bridal suite at the mansion was BEAUTIFUL and spacious. I got the most amazing pictures there. My bridal assistant Sheila was so sweet and helpful. She was really there for us throughout the whole day even after the wedding. Melissa my Maitre D and Johanne organized the entire wedding SO nicely. Both of them stayed til the very end and made sure everything was perfect..and it really was!! I had an outdoor ceremony and it couldnt have been more beautiful..I loved all the greenery and you could see the LI sound from afar. The ballroom was just redone and I have to say it is SO much nicer than it used to be. All the food was amazing. Everyone raved about the food at the cocktail hour and even the dinner! I know that my guests were impressed as they approached the building via the long scenic driveway. They really do have an above average baker on site my cake was identical to the picture I gave them; I would have preferred to have met with the baker and personalize my cake, but was told to just supply a picture and he would replicate it, which was done. The other downside is that they are not that helpful and my included wedding planner was just someone who supervised visits by other vendors I used.
