Located in the Historic Crossroads Art District of downtown Kansas City, MO, the Maverick is a modern venue for weddings and other special events. This stylish establishment was carefully designed by local architects to meet the desires of weddings and other events alike. This location offers two levels totaling over 12,000 sf to host a timeless setting for your wedding ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. The main level of the indoor venue is spacious and provides many options for ceremony and reception layouts. The venue is also equipped with a variety of tables and chairs and can accommodate up to 250 of your beloved family and friends for a seated event. However, they will accommodate up-to 350 of your guests for a standing cocktail style event. Furthermore, their get ready suites offer six freshen-up stations, including backlit mirrors, comfortable lounge chairs, access controlled storage, and TVs and games for entertainment prior to your event. The Maverick provides many services to make your day as relaxing and entertaining as possible. You can expect dedicated parking and professional and friendly staff to welcome your guests. The establishment will entertain you with talented bartenders serving house beer, specialty wine, and refreshing cocktails. The Maverick will also provide event transformation services, which includes set up and post event cleaning. Other services include custom bar packages, private get-ready suites, Mirror photo booth, custom lighting, and much much more,

We had our wedding at The Maverick! Everything turned out beautiful and exactly how I imagined. Alexis was our day of coordinator and she was wonderful. She catered to every detail and made sure the evening was perfect.

The Maverick was incredible! Bailie, the venue manager, was extremely helpful and responsive to any questions/problems we had. The venue itself is gorgeous and the staff puts it over the top. We would recommend this venue to anyone!

The Maverick is the perfect place to get married in Kansas City, it is very centralized. My wedding party and I got ready at Loews Hotel and were able to walk to the venue because it was so close. The Venue Manager was there to answer any question I had along the way and everything went to plan. The space was beautiful and I loved everything about the day. If there was a problem, I had no idea because they made the event run so seamless! My only complaint was during cocktail hour downstairs, it was loud and a little hard to hear and couldn't hear the music playing but overall, that was a minor detail in a perfect day! All the little details throughout the venue provide so many spots to take pictures and the bridal suite it massive and a really good space to use throughout the day. The bartenders and staff were all so kind and I am thankful for every person that made our day so special!

The Maverick was everything we hoped for in a wedding venue. The aesthetic matched our vision perfectly. We knew we wanted somewhere that could host our ceremony and reception and the location is perfect for out of town guests. We were one of the first couples to book with The Maverick and there was a minor hiccup with the contract and expectations but The Maverick worked to correct it and it ended up working out just fine. We primarily worked with Bailie and she was amazing to work with! She understands the wants and needs of a bride and worked to accommodate and offer advice on certain decisions related to the venue. The venue speaks for itself as it’s stunning. The Maverick has a special place in our hearts and we received so many compliments on our wedding venue!

The Maverick KC is amazing. Andrea, Bailie, and Caitlin are great people to meet and work with. After having our wedding there, we can't recommend this place enough. The space is beautiful, staff is extremely helpful, and location is central.

We were the second wedding at The Maverick and it was absolutely phenomenal! Andrea and Izzy are incredible to work with, so kind, organized, experienced, all the positive adjectives. We toured the venue in the very early stages of construction and it turned out beyond gorgeous. The bridal suite is not only beautiful but incredibly functional, all of the little touches throughout the building are so intentional it’s amazing. Our guests loved the space, my parents were so pleased with everything. I can’t praise this space and people enough! They made our big day absolutely perfect.

This venue is gorgeous! We haven't had our wedding yet but I just had to post a review because this team deserves it! My Fiance' and I toured the space while under construction and I have to say, it's going to be so beautiful when it's done. They thought of everything! The GM Andrea was so delightful, She made us feel so comfortable with the process and answered all of our questions as they came up. Overall, the location is amazing, the team is great, and we loved how they didn't try to charge us for every little extra thing you want for your wedding day.We couldn't be more excited to see the space when it's done!
