Gorgeous Waterfront Ranch Venue with Lodge
There is no place like The Meadows at Peninsula Ranch. A private road leads to the tip of a 500 acre peninsula and your wedding facilities, which include both indoor and outdoor options, tables and chairs, assistance with setup, and cleanup. An 8 bedroom Lodge can be included for the day and night of your wedding, or for the full weekend, with an extra full day for decorating and rehearsal. Either way, it means no rushing to leave in the night after your reception: as stress free as it gets. Deer and zebras graze by the lake while family and friends can gather in privacy. Wedding Date 01-05-2021
This place is beautiful and my daughter & son in law and all of us were excited about the idea of having this place the entire weekend. Well after the 1st few hours we were ready to leave. we were approached by the owner about a boom box that was on the back porch that wasn't even playing music yet. This place is out in the country so you wouldn't think they would be concerned about music. We had to stop over a dog that sat on the porch outside the lodge that would not MOVE!! We tried to get it to move out from the front door but all weekend we had to stop over it. Thats not the worst of it. We were taking pics outside the venue and had just finished when 3 more dogs got out of their pens and proceeded to run right towards the bridal party in their dresses!! Thank God my husband yelled at the girls to go inside before they got jumped on by MUDDY DOGS in their dresses. I had to go scream at the lady that lives there right next to the lodge to go get her dogs. If we had been told that someone lived next door and there would not be any privacy and we would not be able to enjoy music either at the lodge or venue we would have booked somewhere else!! If you plan to use a DJ do not rent this venue they have a decibal counter in the venue and the old owner will be at your wedding watching it and telling the DJ to turn down the music. Our guests were mortified at this!! We paid way too much for this venue to not enjoy the weekend with dogs running everywhere and an old owner who does not want you to enjoy yourself

This venue an absolute dream! The lodges are exquisitely decorated, the grounds are beautifully kept, gorgeous lake as your backdrop with a warm Texas breeze that makes you feel right at home! What makes this venue truly amazing are the event coordinators. They are so communicative, helpful, handle every little detail and will bend over backwards to make your event everything you have dreamed of and more!

Amazing venue! We loved that we were able to book the venue for the whole weekend, it made everything so much less stressful and everyone got an absolute kick out of the zebras on the property. Definitely book this venue for y’all’s wedding you won’t regret it!

My bride and I had our wedding and reception at Peninsula Ranch. I definitely recommend this location not only for weddings, but for any function. The water front is beautiful, as is the entire property. The reception hall is beautiful and is very well equipped to handle any event you want to have there. For our wedding we also booked the lodge for our out of town family to stay. We've had nothing but positive comments about the accommodations from all of them. As a matter of fact, all of our family and friends loved the entire venue. The owners did all they could to make this special day perfect, they went above and beyond our expectations. The 5 star rating at the top is 100% true. We have gotten requests from our families to have a yearly family event at this venue, that's how much we all liked it. We highly recommend Peninsula Ranch.

We decided on Peninsula Ranch and Lodge for our wedding in October 2017. The long walkway under two archways which takes you right down to the waterfront made a beautiful isle and location for our wedding. After we were married, we moved the reception inside the event center, it has a rustic feel, lots of lighting, a full kitchen which was exactly what we were looking for. Stacy and Trampas would check in on us periodically and would assist as necessary. We also used the breathtaking lodge for all of our out of town guests to stay in. We even had local folks ask us if it would be ok to check out where we were staying (we stayed in the suite downstairs). Everyone loved what they saw. One morning we woke up to a zebra and a donkey chilling outside our balcony, how cool is that? Needless to say we had a wonderful experience. I would highly recommend this location, you will not be disappointed!

This place was amazing and so beautiful. We had our wedding and reception here and it was well worth it. The animals, which included deer, zebra, donkey, bobcat & more were a crowd pleaser for sure. The owner and wait staff were a pleasure and so helpful. We couldn't have asked for a smoother or better day. Big thanks goes out to them.

The Kennemer wedding was absolutely beautiful. It started to rain right before the outside wedding we had planned. We did not know what we were going to do..... start moving the tables where the reception was planned, wait the rain out or..... move it to the chapel. Then the decision was made and the Peninsula Ranch (PR) crew along with many of our guys started grabbing chairs, drying them off and putting them inside the chapel. The day was not lost. It was a gorgeous wedding in the chapel. The rain could not stop this wonderful day. The bridal group along with a few others stayed in the Lodge. It had a rustic feel with all the comforts of home. And don't forget to take that much needed moment between getting everything done to set outside and breathe in the fresh clean air and adore the beautiful scenery. The reception was catered by PR as well. The food was delicious and the staff was fantastic. I would highly recommend this venue for any occasion you may be planning. This is the coolest retreat. It's hard to imagine all this wildlife and so much land and waterfront, with this kind of ambiance, so close to the big city. It felt more like being in Australia or somewhere very exotic. Having the ability to rent the Lodge as well as the event venue, proved to be hugely convenient and saved time and money. This place is a great value. we felt comfortable letting the children run and play while the ranch staff helped us get everything organized. Simply put, its gorgeous!

This place is amazing! We rented Ranch for the dinner rehearsal and a place for the groom and his buddies to have a place to stay both nights. Peninsula Ranch was more than we expected it to be. The group of young men and women were able to fish, play bean bag toss, horseshoes, listen to music all while enjoying the deer, zebra and other wildlife. Debi was great from the start.. she help by first taking us on a tour of the place and then helping in other areas... getting dates and times set up, items we would need as well as helping us decorate the night of the rehearsal.Staci the owner was very helpful as well. We also enjoyed getting to know him. Thank you both for helping make an awesome memory for my son's special time in his life. We hope to visit you both again!

My wedding was in December of 2015. I still think of how kind everyone was, and how accommodating the staff were. My mother-in-law still talks about the Zebra! Thank you Peninsula Ranch for all my memories.

The place is beautiful but the owner Staci had dogs and cats coming into the reception hall during set up and during reception he hung around looking for reasons to kick people out which he did even made the groom leave when the groom asked for part of a refund would not recommend this place the owner ate our food and drink our drinks hey forced drunk people to leave little does he know that that is a lawsuit in itself seeing as how he allows BYOB

Trampas Smith (Manager) The ranch has been a part of my life since I was young and I enjoy sharing it with others, especially through the special experience of a wedding. I do my best to make sure that everything goes according to plan, and so far, every one has been a success. It has been a true pleasure to see so many groups through.
