It's been just about a week being married and everyone is still talking about how perfect this venue is. The weekend package was definitely worth it!!!! The team (Darrell & Nate) were so amazing to work with. We cannot recommend The Melissa Barn enough. We are so glad we were able to get married there & spend the weekend at the Lodging Venue. I wish I had more stars to add to this review! Hands down - the BEST venue for our wedding. Nate and Darrell Tinglov have a beautiful wedding and reception venue. When we visited the first time, I had no intention on making the decision that day. But after touring the reception building and ceremony area (even on a rainy day), I knew this was the place we should pick. We even pushed our wedding date back a week just so we could book it here.The barn is spacious and offered the \"rustic\" look we were looking for, with a large fireplace and mantle that made a beautiful backdrop to our sweetheart table. The outdoor ceremony area with the gorgeous wooden alter and seating area was perfect for our wedding. The outdoor areas all around the property made great background scenery for our wedding pictures and offer places for our guest to relax outside.We rented the on-site house for the whole weekend of the wedding, which offered a place for us to gather with family and friends the day before the wedding for an informal pre-wedding party. The house had plenty of room for the wedding party to comfortably stay and get ready before the wedding and a place to wind down and rest after the wedding was over.Nate was always available for questions and let us stop by a few times over the months leading up to the wedding, to look at the property (again) and get some ideas from their inventory of decorations. This was the biggest, most important decision for our wedding and it was the easiest decision to make.

The Melissa Barn at HD Ranch was a dream come true for our wedding day!!! Our wedding day was 10/16/21 and all we can talk about is how happy we are that we found and chose them as our venue! Darrell and his son Nate are so down to earth and accommodating to your needs. Our ceremony was outside and we moved inside for our reception. They offer many different packages and even have a weekend stay that you can add for a little staycation. We have gotten so many compliments back from friends and family on just how much fun they had and saying how beautiful the venue was! Thank you Melissa Barn for making our wedding day dreams come true!!!

This place was perfect.! We rented the entire property for the weekend.! The venue was amazing.!! We couldn’t have asked for a better place to get married. God Bless the entire team and any future Grooms and Brides.!!

I had my wedding at the Melissa Barn this past weekend and it was perfect! We had to change our wedding plans and original venue 45 days before our planned date due to COVID-19 and I'm so happy we found the Melissa Barn. They made the process so easy and were very accommodating to help make our dream wedding happen. The venue is beautiful and the owner, Darrell, and the venue manager, Hannah, were easy to work with and very helpful. We got so many compliments on how beautiful the barn and the ceremony site were. We also stayed in the house that is on the property with our bridal party. The house is beautiful, we loved sitting outside by the pool and having a BBQ the night before. Having the house on the property was perfect to get ready in the day of the wedding and made everything very convenient. Would definitely recommend the Melissa Barn for an intimate, beautiful wedding!

We had the most beautiful and amazing wedding day all thanks to HD Ranch! We can never thank Darrell enough for helping us make our special day absolutely perfect!! He was so easy to work with and accommodating to all of our needs. This brand new venue is GORGEOUS, inside and out! Our guest still talk about how beautiful the venue was. We loved that we got to have our dream outdoor wedding and indoor reception! Our added bonus was being able to have our out of town relatives lodge ON the wedding site! It was very convenient, clean, and cozy. We wanted our wedding to be as stress free as possible and it was just that! Being able to have the venue site for the whole weekend helped make everything go smoothly. We didn’t have to rush to clean or to get everything set up which was so nice to not have that extra worry! We were able to spend the whole weekend with our family all together creating so many special memories that we will hold dear to our hearts! As a bride, you dream of your wedding day and desire for every little detail to be perfect (especially if you’re picky like me). We truly couldn’t have been happier and definitely recommend HD Ranch for all of your wedding needs!

Darrell & Heather Tinglov (Owner) Nestled in the country side of North Texas, the rustic sophisticated charm of HD Ranch is truly unique to the area with its accommodations. Located on the back of the property the venue itself is full of unique rustic textures of cedar wood and chopped stone, including a floor to ceiling fireplace. HD Ranch is the perfect size to comfortably accommodate up to 160 guests. Heather & I are both Real Estate Professionals and blended our families in 2011. We have had this property in our family for 15 years and we can't wait to share it with you! - Darrell
