We had an amazing experience from start to finish. When deciding on our venue, we really wanted to have everything under one contract, so we opted to use their in-house vendors for catering, dj, stationery, floral, photography & wedding planning services. Amanda, our planner representative, was extremely communicative & helpful during the planning process. She helped iron out all the small details. On our wedding day, Malyn & Alejandra helped our day run smoothly and checked in often throughout the day to ensure everything was great. Carson, our DJ, kept the party going and helped select a few of our songs that we were unsure of. Jamie, our photographer from Emily Chappell Productions, did an amazing job at capturing candid photos (groom's request) and making sure all the special moments were photographed. Jenny Layne Bakery provided our cake & dessert table which guest revved about. Catering & Beverages were also outstanding. All in all, we have a wonderful experience & would certainly recommend it to other couples!

Having our wedding at the Milestone Denton was an absolute dream! The property is beautiful and fit our needs perfectly. The team at Walters (specifically Susanna, Delaney and Madison) were PHENOMENAL! From start to the send off at the end of the night we were cared for well, all of our needs met, and we & our guests were met with a level of excellence we do not often see. The Walters Wedding team truly made our whole experience magical. The vendors they work with are fantastic! Every little details of our wedding was more than we could have dreamed! So grateful for how Madison ensured we were all set in every detail leading up to our special day, how Susanna anticipated every need and made the day seamless (with a beautiful smile), as well as how Delaney was wonderful with taking care of every detail as the night closed and our send off! I canât begin to explain how amazing this day was. I contribute a lot of the perfection of the day to the amazing team that was by our sides through it all. Before planning our wedding we heard how stressful and overwhelming wedding planning would be, however we experienced nothing of the sort. The Walter Wedding Estate team at The Milestone made wedding planning the least stressful experience through their responsiveness and amazing packages(there truly is something special about booking everything at once). Because of this we were able to focus on the most important thing through the wedding planning process- our love for one another.Now letâs talk about the wedding day. WOW! A special shout out to Susanna and Delaney for making the day go SO SMOOTHLY even with the curve balls that it had thrown. It is amazing when your coordinators are able to have fun with you and allow you to fully experience the day while also keeping to a timeline. Susanna helped in so many ways- from singing along with us in the bridal suite to âshake offâ the nerves, to handing us water throughout the photo session as she saw we were clearly dehydrated. I canât sing her praises enough! Towards the end of the night Delaney took over and I couldn't be more grateful. A guest stepped on my dress and tore my bustle down, I knew as soon as that happened I had someone I could count on. I ran out into the foyer and Delaney was by my side in .002 seconds- pined me up with clothes pins and I was able to get back on the dance floor in moments. To sum up, this was the best day of our lives and we owe it all to The Milestone team. What an amazing experience! Thank you Milestone team!

I am getting married on Dec. 23, 2023 at this venue. The venue is STUNNING. My wedding vision is minimalistic but classy. Since it is a winter wedding, our colors are emerald green, ivory and gold. The venue is absolutely beautiful! Itâs perfect for a 100 guest wedding and provides in all in one location including indoor and outdoor ceremony options, bridal suite, grooms suite and family suite! We loved hosting our event here. Walterâs did a wonderful job on the day of as did all of the vendors they are contracted with. The staff was very professional and happy to help with anything we requested. 4/5 stars because Walterâs includes planning services in their packages and I think there could be some improvements in this department. I would have liked more help leading up to my wedding. If the bride is really worried about how things are going to run it can take away from the whole experience. The vendors were all great at contacting me via email or phone and asking details. The planner assigned to me by Walterâs never answered the phone and took days to answer simple email questions. There were moments when I felt I was planning alone. I ended up making decisions that costed us more money in the end because I didnât have anyone helping me. A new planner was eventually assigned to us and she worked very hard to make everything right and improve my experience. She even showed up on my wedding day and helped keep everything running smoothly including keeping my champagne glass filled. Thank you Chelsea! There were a lot of questions the day of coordinator could not answer at rehearsal and this made me uneasy about how the day would go. So i think they could improve in that area too. Overall you can trust Walterâs to come through on the day of. Our day was practically seamless. And by the end of it all we were thanking and hugging the staff good bye. Our guests had fun and my husband and I were catered to all day. They got the job done and they did it well! This is also one of the very few companies that has all inclusive packages and multiple venues to choose from. If you donât want to spend days searching for vendors go with Walterâs Wedding Estates.

So much stress of wedding planning comes from coordinating vendors and familiarizing them with the venue- that's not the case working with Walters Weddings Estates. Their vendors are part of a package deal and work with our planning representative as the point person. We are so delighted with the communication and organization so far! We get married on October 15, 2023, so I'll leave a follow up after our big day! :) Edit: Wow, I'm blown away by the team at The Milestone. Our wedding day was absolutely perfect!! Any snafu's that happened were quickly sorted by Susie and Delaney, apparently some that they never even told me about. They did an incredible job keeping the stress off me as the bride and helping my mom and bridesmaids with anything they needed that day. I had such a great time with them and honestly would love to be real life friends with Susie and Delaney because they are so sweet and fun! Shout out again to Hallie as our Planning Representative, because the day truly wouldn't have been as beautiful without her help and advice along the way. Highly recommend The Milestone to anyone getting married soon!

This venue is truly magical. My husband and I had our wedding at The Milestone November 12th, 2022. The moment we booked with them, the thing that has stood out the most to us was their amazing communication. All the managers and planning team have been amazing to responding to emails, texts, and answering all of our questions. They even let us store wedding items there the day before the wedding which made set up way easier. We absolutely loved that they had their in house vendors to choose from. Being a business owner, finding the time do find vendors was very stressful so having it all in one place was extremely helpful. I truly believe this really helped me with the planning process. All the vendors were also amazing during our planning process. Cohost Entertainment matched us with Daniel and he was truly phenomenal. The flowers from Joche W Events were beyond gorgeous. The cake and dessert bar from Jenny Layne was amazing. The invitations from Lyons Paperie was absolutely perfect. All of the vendors through Walters Wedding took our wants and made it spectacular. For the day of the wedding, we did have some hiccups but Crystal was great about checking in on us and trying to keep things orderly. Amanda helped so much during the overall planning as well. We truly loved the women who helped make this day so special. Overall, Iâm glad we chose to have our wedding at The Milestone and book with Walters Wedding. Thank you so much to the entire team and all the great vendors!

This venue was magnificent. We were married on Halloween this year and that fell on a Monday which was perfect. They didn't charge extra for it being a holiday, and we even got a free Photo booth for contracting in during one of their specials. The grounds were stunning and even for the cheapest package (Which was the one we got) There was soooo much extra. Food, Floral, DJ, they even had a stationary option that we used for our front sign and our thank you cards. All very beautiful, professional, and easy to communicate with!

My wedding was on 09/24/2022 and choosing The Milestone Denton was one of the best decisions! We loved the Southern charm and traditional style of the place and the all inclusive packages. I was planning the wedding from another city and this made the process much easier and not stressful. Additionally, the point of contact Emily and coordinator Crystal could not be more incredible - always answered any questions and helped any way they could. Overall, my wedding was a dream and couldnât be happier of choosing this place :) 13/10 totally recommended

The Milestone Denton was a great venue for our wedding. Crystal was our coordinator and she was so kind and did a great job of listening to our vision and implementing it on the day of our wedding. The inside and outside of the venue is gorgeous. We ordered food through the venue and it was delicious. Many of our guests said it was the best wedding food theyâve had. I would absolutely recommend this venue and Crystal for your wedding!

The Milestone Denton was a great venue for our wedding. Crystal was our coordinator and she was so kind and did a great job of listening to our vision and implementing it on the day of our wedding. The inside and outside of the venue is gorgeous. We ordered food through the venue and it was delicious. Many of our guests said it was the best wedding food theyâve had. I would absolutely recommend this venue and Crystal for your wedding!

Overall great experience with The Milestone! The venue itself is gorgeous and all of our guests complimented how bright and airy it is. The food was great, some of the best wedding food Iâve had. We used their all inclusive package, it made the process very easy. I did feel that the floral package was a little misleading, we ended up spending more on top of it to really get what we wanted. Communication is also lacking until you are about 45 days out from your wedding which was frustrating at times when looking for a quick answer. From 45 days to the wedding day, everything was great!!! Allie was our point of contact and answered all of my questions! Aubrey was our day of coordinator, she had such a sweet personality and constantly made sure I had what I needed. Loved working with both of them and they helped my wedding day go off without any issues!

Was my wedding day 100% perfect Iâd be lying if I said yes. The days leading up to my wedding we had freezing temps, my now husband ended up spinning his vehicle out on the highway. I called the venue a number of times where Allie assured me everything will turn out great! Day of wedding, my wallet is gone!! (Found it 2 days after the wedding) So with all that being said I was already stressed/over it before we made it to the venue! Sadly the venue wasnât ready ( due to again the freezing weather!!) no fault at all by the venue (I mean I could have lost my husband on those roads!) so all good! Allie and Aubrey worked their butts off running around making sure everything was good to go!! One huge thing on my list was not forgotten our flowers đ yep I forgot mine! But all good they got them for me. We actually were ahead of schedule and really enjoying our big day! The food omg it was delicious!! We really loved the fact our food was giving to us â¤ď¸â¤ď¸ loved them helping out with the Grand exit! The staff amazing!! ( itâs no fault of no one for us being a hot mess couple that is very prone to mishaps) But with every small hiccup we had they were right there to fix it we are so very grateful for everything!! Even the day after the wedding we called about a missing item and there Allie was to help us out!! Thank you to both Allie and Aubrey for everything the night was beautiful!!

Allison (our coordinator) did a fantastic job with our day of details and making sure that our day was perfect. Every detail was fantastic and so well thought out. The food was absolutely fantastic and we received so many compliments. My husband would not stop gushing about the friendly staff and our guests kept complimenting the food and saying it was the best wedding food they have ever had. Allieâs friendliness, organization, and attention to detail made the whole day run so smooth. So thankful for the milestone!!!

Growing up by the venue, I had always loved it! When it came time to plan our wedding, this was one of many venues we looked at. When we arrived, we instantly loved the venue. The pricing is very reasonable for food and drinks and also the venue itself. The staff is amazing!! Allie was great, always answering our questions and she was also our day of coordinator. Canât say enough good things about her and how she made sure our day was perfect. There was a few mishaps with our payments/portal but the team worked swiftly and worked with us to fix the problem.

This was our second wedding in our family at the Milestone in Denton and if that doesnât tell you how much we like the place I am not sure what will. The staff was very accommodating in any needs we had during the planning process as well as making sure our rehearsal and day of ran smoothly. Allie or Peyton were always around the day of the wedding to help us find anything we needed for set up or break down. We did have a couple of concerns about the maintenance of the grounds; however those were address and corrected by the wedding day. The venue was clean and ready to go on wedding day! The Milestone was such a beautiful venue that made all our wedding dreams come true! Allie and her staff were professional, kind, compassionate, and made our day go off without a hitch. All of our guests complemented how wonderful the food was, and how gorgeous the venue was. Allie and Peyton made sure we didn't have to do anything on our wedding day! Allie hosted us for a very detailed meeting before the wedding and made sure to understand the whole outline of our day. I look back on my wedding at The Milestone and wish I could relive it again and again, it was the perfect day!

The venue is absolutely beautiful in person, so many of my guests were in awe and taking photos of it. I didnât even decorate much at all, we kept it simple because the place is so pretty it doesnât need much. Their team worked really well with my wedding coordinator to keep things smooth for me especially towards the end of planning - and, we took our engagement photos here which made for some really stunning photos. Something that stood out to me was the quality of the food! Weâve all been to weddings where the food was sub par, but this venue knocked it out of the park with their BBQ buffet. I had a few bridal party members who donât eat meat and they still loved it because the sides and sauce were so good. I suspect all of their buffet options are this good because we went to the tasting they had last summer and tried many things which we liked all of. Their bar services were also great, drinks were mixed strong (tho I was the bride so that might have been part of it LOL)My favorite part of this venue was the bridal suite. So beautiful. I wish I could get married again just to use it!!! My husband liked the grooms suite a lot too. Great backdrops for photos with your bridal party

The staff at The Milestone was top notch! The thing I liked the most about them was how fast they responded to any questions I had. The day of the wedding went perfectly. They gave us sparklers to use from a previous wedding, and to our surprise, added some drinks/specialty drink to our bar lineup! We were so surprised to see that, but it was so appreciated! They also gave the crowd some neon lights to crank up the dance floor. Thank you for making our wedding day so seamless and perfect!

I don't know how to start. It was just amazing. Allie and the staff were amazing. We had our wedding here and ever since we stepped foot on the property we loved it. Wedding day we didn't have to worry about a thing. We had one bridesmaid show a little late. Things got really behind but Allie was super professional about it talked to me about things we could do to get back on track. Super amazing coordinator. Im so glad we ended up getting one because it was needed. Along with CoHost entertainment Garrett Peters was the best DJ to have that night. Both of them and staff just made the night so special and calming. Thank you so much for all you have done for Beatrice and I on our special day. It will not be forgotten.

Our experience with this venue was wonderful. The booking process was amazing and they were true to their promise of price matching a meal caterer we found. They also recommended local vendors, at least one of which we used and enjoyed. In the middle of the process, our point of contact shifted twice due to maternity leave and a promotion. While we loved all three of the managers that we worked with, the shifts caused some communication difficulties that were somewhat stressful in the lead up to our big day. This is the only reason we arenât leaving a five star review. However, once the rubber hit the road, Chelsea Carlile, the current manager as of May 2021, did so much to assuage our fears. From the rehearsal to the big day, she was so helpful and freely offered wisdom and solutions to problems we didnât even know we had. Our wedding was better than I could have hoped and I credit much of the execution with her hard work and coordination.

We loved this venue and selected it because it is beautiful but for a number of other reasons also. Most importantly we were able to have our dog as our ring 'Bear.' Our wedding was supposed to be on the lawn but the weather didn't work out and the ceremony was moved inside. It was a relief that we had that option. The staff was great to work with and professional. They responded quickly to all of our questions. This venue does provide the catering, alcohol, bar staff, and security for the reception. It is wonderful not having to find those vendors on our own. We also did utilize some of their preferred vendors for other aspects of the wedding such as hair and makeup.

We loved this venue and selected it because it is beautiful but for a number of other reasons also. Most importantly we were able to have our dog as our ring 'Bear.' Our wedding was supposed to be on the lawn but the weather didn't work out and the ceremony was moved inside. It was a relief that we had that option. The staff was great to work with and professional. They responded quickly to all of our questions. This venue does provide the catering, alcohol, bar staff, and security for the reception. It is wonderful not having to find those vendors on our own. We also did utilize some of their preferred vendors for other aspects of the wedding such as hair and makeup.

Choosing your wedding venue is a big decision. For my husband and I we want to choose place that captured our love but also provided a comforting experience. Milestone was the first place we chose to tour and the staff was so welcoming and they made us feel like our wedding was there only concern in that moment. Being the first place we chose we were a little skeptical and wanted to tour other places to get a wide variety. Boy weâre we disappointed with what the other places had to offer. First and foremost we toured 5 other venues and NOT one venue greeted us and treated us like Milestone. So we quickly said weâre going back to Milestone. Once booking you assume okay the âlavishâ treatment will stop they got my money. NOPE! They were amazing from start to finish. Any questions we had answered with an email response so quickly. Any changes done with ease. On our wedding day we had to worry about nothing the coordinator was amazing and the event spectacular. Most brides and groom worry about âwill I have time to eatâ food was brought to our table. Appetizers that most bridal parties miss due to pictures. NOPE saved us some so we were able to enjoy those as well. The food was absolutely amazing, so courteous to food allergens. All of our guests say it was the most beautiful venue and wedding ever. I would easily recommended this place to everyone!! They have plenty of different options that are cost friendly. Choose this place :)

Raegan helped me and my husband have the wedding of our dreams! Wedding planning is stressful, as most of us know, and Raegan helped answer all my questions and keep me calm when the pandemic was looming. I emailed her in a panic (I am a planner and I need to have a plan for every possibility) and she called right away to talk and let me know that even though there are many unknowns, she has my back. Our original date was 4/5/2020 and she had to call and break the news that we had to postpone. There are several reasons for my rating. There was a general lack of communication from the venue staff. I had emailed with the general manager, Raegan, several times, but never met her in person. I know she was out for a bit for personal reasons, but we never saw her once, not even on my wedding day. We were also told different things by different members of the staff with some saying that the venue coordinator we paid for would help us set up the tables in the reception space, but come to find out at the rehearsal, that she does not help with that and we would have to set up anything we brought ourselves. We asked about this multiple times as we brought in our own table runners, table numbers, and hand sanitizers and were always told until the night before the wedding that the venue would take care of this for us. I also asked for all black linen and when we arrived, there was white linen on the cake table. We had asked for chargers for the tables through the venue and when they were placed on the table, they were messy with some almost hanging off the end of the table. My mom had to go around and fix the tables to make them look nice. The table setup I had created was all wrong and they did not even have a print out of my setup until we asked for one. At the rehearsal, the venue coordinator did not have the list I had emailed to the venue over a month in advance with the processional lineup. Thankfully, my mom had a copy with her to use. She did not show up when our vendors arrived or helped with any of the setup, which was stated in her job description in the brochure for the venue. She was very difficult to find throughout the evening of our wedding as she was also serving food, cutting the cake, and at the bar. The floors of the chapel were dirty and the carpet should have been vacuumed. In the groom's suite, you couldn't use the TV unless you had a certain streaming account, had to pay for the pinball machine, and they received hot beer. The venue made such a big deal about us not bringing in outside alcohol and said they would provide us with what we needed, yet it was warm and the men were not able to enjoy it. In the bridal suite, there were no paper towels or hand towels and besides the hook for the bride's dress, there was really no space for any of the girls or the mother of the bride to hang their dresses, especially when changing in the bathroom. We also requested to use the three easels the venue was going to provide and on the afternoon of the wedding when we arrived found out one was broken and we were not able to use a canvas print that we had purchased, which was a complete waste of money. I also had issues paying the final deposit on the venue when I had been using a bank account payment the whole time and for some reason, on the last payment, I had to use my credit card, which I didn't want to do. Finally, the menu we selected was not the menu that was served. We went over in the details meeting that we wanted chicken marsala and I emailed these details to the venue as well. We ended up with chicken piccata. This was something that we had gone over in detail and both the venue and myself had in writing so I have no idea how this could have happened. For the amount we paid for everything, it definitely could've been a much smoother process with better communication.

The Walters Wedding Estates company has breathtakingly beautiful venues, but that is all you're getting out of booking with them.Do a quick google search and you'll find all the couples who are dealing with a nightmare during COVID because of this company. They gave no options for postponing except for during the initial shutdown. So for brides like me, with a date during the peak of the fall, we were given no choices. Either forfeit all money or deal with it, and absolutely no compassion was given during these conversations by the staff.Our venue coordinator that we signed with left the company, and I never was contacted nor was my portal updated so my emails went into the void and were never returned. I had to email the main venue account to be given new contact information. Then that coordinator was going on maternity leave during my wedding, but I was not informed of this until a month before and never met the new coordinator until the day of my wedding. As such, many details were missed the day of that were discussed prior.I had printed my own bar sign for available drinks, but was told that someone at the venue would create a bar sign for me so didn't bring it. A sign was not there so no one knew we had paid extra for a signature drink. The groom's suite had to ask for water even though they were supposed to have water and beer all day as per our bar package. The bridal suite had to ask for paper towels for the bathroom as it wasn't properly stocked at all.The final nail in the coffin was the end of our wedding night. Since many people are not comfortable in crowds during the pandemic (understandable which is why we tried to postpone), we did a fake send-off to get pictures and then whoever wanted to stay and dance would come back in. We had the venue paid up until 11:00 and this was at about 9:00. The DJ announced that it was a fake send off. It was said multiple times, as we were assuring people that their things and drinks wouldn't be touched. After the \"send-off\" as we were saying goodbye to the guests who were leaving, the venue coordinator stopped the DJ, turned on the lights, and started clearing up. My bridesmaids tried to tell her that it wasn't the real send off and that we were coming back in. She said \"We don't do that, we're shutting it down.\"It took my new husband going up the chain of command to find someone who offered to open back up the bar, but at that point it had been 20 minutes, the DJ had packed up, and guests were understandably all leaving. It was a devastating way to have the wedding night end, and we paid an enormous amount for time that was not used - both rental time and bar time.The venue is beautiful, the food is good, and that's the best I can say about it. There are plenty of other venues that are gorgeous, will work with you during emergencies like pandemics, and won't shut down your wedding early. Stay away from this one.

This venue has not been accommodating at all with COVID. I've started calling back in May about rescheduling. I was told I was unable because my date is so late in Nov. If I did early, it would be considered as a cancellation. In contract, cancellation is a forfeit of all cost. I kept calling back almost monthly to ask how about now...I was told they can have private events until state has a mandate lockdown. They reassured me CDC measures of health and safety were implemented. Finally this week...two months before my date, I was told if I met one of the 4 qualifications then we can reschedule. The qualifications were either myself or fiance had COVID (8wks prior to our date), military order, doctor note stating either one of us or parents is immunocompromised, or employer note saying we cannot attend mass gatherings. We were very hopeful about this. I had to go through hoops to get a doctor note stating my father has diabetes, which would make him immunocompromised. On CDC website page, this is listed to imply you are immunocompromised. Apparently their legal team said it will not suffice to just have a note stating medical condition so we can't get a postponement. The note has to have key word \"unable to attend mass gatherings\" to be accepted. 90% of our guest are traveling...many whom have cancelled. Venue again also mentioned we will still be charged for the minimum guest count. Other funds can be allocated to elsewhere parts of venue like more food or drinks. Again, no care about bride and grooms special date, it is all business to make revenue. The venue doesn't care if my parents can't make it to my date. They are making us pay for full guest count even though only maybe 20-30% will come. Adding more food or drinks to less guest makes no sense. It's horrible to say, but our only way out of this is catching COVID....of course only 8 weeks prior to our date.The only good thing I can say is friendly staff. Everything else has just been pure upsetting...some may even phrase nightmare. I've done many research so far if I'm alone on this. Clearly I am not the only bride. There are lawsuits against this wedding company since COVID. I have friends whom are engaged and aren't dealing with any sort of issues with postponement. Please do yourself a favor and spread the word. I don't want any other bride to go through and admit defeat like I have for their happy special day. I am willing to share my story to whomever will listen.

Our wedding coordinator was Jesse. Thank you for coordinating our wedding, and being such a pleasure to work with. Our wedding was everything we hoped for and more! The wedding progressed so smoothly that we were able to relax and truly enjoy the magic of our special day. If it didn't go perfectly, then we had no idea because he took care of it, and we had the best day ever. Jesse's experience and expertise as a wedding planner made all of our wedding wishes come true. The gorgeous rustic barn was completely amazing. HE helped us make our wedding magical. The Milestone is one of the best venues ever hands down! I researched over 20 venues and visited about 15 and the Milestone stuck out to me the most. All of their venues are jaw dropping stunning and extremely well maintained. I personally held my wedding at the mansion because that fits my style best and everyone who attended my wedding said it was one of the prettiest venues they have seen. The mansion comes with catering which took a lot of pressure off of me to find a good cater and their food was great! Their pricing is very reasonable for what you get and is flexible depending on how long you choose to stay at the venue. Their staff is so helpful and sweet and went ABOVE AND BEYOND to make sure my special day was perfect! Everyone warned more that the day of coordinator that comes with venues doesn't do that much and I should pay extra to hire someone else, but that couldn't be further from true with the Milestone. My day of coordinator did everything I needed and more and went out of her way to make me feel beautiful and calm. Everyone who helped me plan and prep for my big day at the Milestone was delightful to work with and assured me that everything I wanted would go smoothly and perfectly. I couldn't have had a better wedding! I strongly recommend anyone getting married soon to check out the Milestone's venues, especially the Mansion!

We had the most amazing celebration at the Milestone Barn! Raegan was such a wonderful gift! She made the day go by swiftly without any hiccups! What sold us was the ability to have a Wedding Consultant for the big day, so myself, the groom and my mother could really enjoy our day without having to deal with the little things. The food was spectacular! I had a lot of guests gushing on what was served, the venue was clean and just perfect. I would totally recommend them to anyone taking the leap

We couldn't have been happier with the Milestone Mansion Denton! Our coordinator, Alexis, was so calm and put together throughout the process, and most importantly the day of. Needless to say, the venue was stunning. In our indoor ceremony, we only added some flowers and it was absolutely beautiful! My husband and I were obsessed with Walters Wedding Estates! Thereâs so many venues to choose from and when we saw the Milestone we were mind blown! Itâs so beautiful. Our venue coordinator was so sweet and did everything she could to accommodate us on our wedding day. I would suggest hiring a day-of coordinator because the venue coordinator doesnât do some things. For example they do not set up decor, nor do they take it down for you so youâll need to designate that to someone. The Milestone was so good at answering every question I had and let me tell you, I had a ton of questions during our planning process and I got a response every single time. The only issue I had with the Milestone or Walters Weddings Estates is that I felt like they were always finding a way to take more money. We paid for the full day rental period.... not really a full day. You canât get there before 12 pm, and your ceremony canât start until 6 pm with an end time at 11. We tried to change our start time to 4 pm and were told we would incur an additional $600 or $700 fee for staff. So you canât utilize the full rental period you paid for. Our wedding day went by so fast because we had to end it at 10:20 or 10:30ish for clean up. Then we were told we had complimentary champagne, but it was only free if guests went to the bar and picked up the glasses themselves. If we had opted for them to pass champagne to the guests for toasts then it was $3 per guest. Why? Didnât we already pay for staff services? Other than that, the Milestone was incredibly accommodating and so kind. The people we worked with throughout our 2 year wedding planning process was a dream. Maybe it was the strict polices of Walters Weddings Estates that the employees had to enforce that kind of rubbed my husband and I the wrong way. The venue is so beautiful. Double check for wasps the week of your wedding if youâre getting married in the summer because we found them all around the venue but the Milestone was so quick at getting rid of them. Anyways, the Milestone is a beautiful place and the people there are so kind and willing to accommodate you in what you need. Our wedding day was a dream.

This was our 2nd venue to visit and we were sold immediately! Gorgeous venue inside and outside. You can leave it as is and it is gorgeous, or you can spruce up the area with floral and decor! Either way it was amazing! I thought it was reasonably price for what we were wanting for our special day. I will say the only downfall was that we didnât have the best experience with the food. For what we paid for the venue and per guest head, i was hoping for better quality of food. It was kind of cold and not seasoned all that well. And someof the tables didnât get the appetizers. We got the premium package for our food and overall just wasnât impressed. Also- you want your wedding night to last all night of course, however they want you out of the venue(all decor includes) out by 11 pm, i wish we had that one extra hour.

The venue itself is beautiful. We chose to have our wedding in the Aubrey mansion. Our coordinator was a different story. He was great during the rehearsal, but was much less helpful on the wedding day. Luckily, we had hired a family friend as a day-of coordinator and she was able to get things done that would have otherwise fallen through the cracks. I (the groom) had to ask 30 minutes before the ceremony where the boutonnières were for the groom, groomsmen, ushers, fathers, and grandfathers. Had I not remembered them last minute, we wouldnât have had any of them. The coordinator was difficult to find during the reception as well. When he told us it was time to cut the cake, he brought us to the table but handed us the wrong knife and then disappeared and left us there. We were supposed to immediately transition to the FOB toast, so we had to bear with a very awkward transition while I ran to get the mic and my wife was standing alone at the cake table. The knife we were supposed to use was a custom Waterford crystal knife from my in-laws. The venue lost that knife and still hasnât found it. We were also promised several times that the venue staff would do the majority of the tear-down after the venue and would also help clear any vendor supplies. My in-laws had to stay three hours after the wedding to get everything cleared out. With the amount that this venue costs, I suppose we were expecting a friendlier and more helpful staff.I hate that I canât give a five star review, because the venue really is a beautiful place to host an occasion like this. The quality of the staff unfortunately does not match the beauty of the space.

I absolutely LOVED having my wedding at this venue! IT was so convenient that they had the reception hall and ceremony hall all in one! My only concern was that the ceremony start time didn't change and I wish that I could have had it an hour earlier to allow for a longer reception at the venue. The entire place was GORGEOUS and it was so well kept - the venue was immaculate and the staff there were fantastic! All of our food was served hot and fresh and it was delicious! Amanda was our coordinator for the day of and she was so excited to help and ensured that myself and my husband, our families, and our guests that had the best day ever. I appreciated that they are a well oiled machine at the Milestone Aubrey and they work so efficiently the entire time that you are there! Their vendor referrals that they provide you with are also amazing and we found our DJ and photographer through them!I really am so glad that we had our wedding at this venue and wouldn't have changed a thing!

From the moment that you walk into the Morgan Creek Barn you are blown away! I looked at 5 other venues before making my way to the barn, and let me just say that none of the ones I looked at previously can compete! I burst into happy tears right when I walked in because I just knew that this was the place that I was going to get married. The bridal suite is SO INCREDIBLY BEAUTIFUL! And it had tons of space for my large bridal party and all of my family members. If you like rustic, modern & chic then you've definitely got to check this place out! The whole process from start to beginning was made easy from the staff at the Milestone! They were always available via phone and email to answer any of the questions that I had- (and I had a lot!) You also get a day-of-coordinator included in the price of the venue! Amanda was my coordinator and she was so sweet and she did such an amazing job! She made the weeks leading up to the big day less stressful, and when the big day came up- she was there to coordinate everything from the set up to the vendors, etc. Amanda was very professional and informative and she definitely deserves a raise! ;) I had such an amazing experience getting married at the Morgan Creek Barn and I highly recommend that you check them out!

The venue is breathtaking, and I absolutely loved everything about it. We went to 3 of their open houses, and had a great time at each. We met alot of our vendors there, and even won some great prizes for our wedding. The ladies that work there are very welcoming and helpful. However, there were a few unsettling things that I want other brides to be aware of. When we first signed the contract, they asked approximately how many guest we would have. At the time, we had no idea as we had just started planning. They said we could change this number before our final meeting 2 weeks before the wedding. So we stated 125 people. We placed the deposit, and continue on our planning. About a month or so before the wedding, we noticed we would only have about 100 people and would need to feed 10 vendors. As stated, we were able to change the headcount, BUT we were not able to get the money back for those 15 people (about $500). They said we could take the unused money and use it for something else within the venue. So we made plans to put that money towards our alcohol package. But, the alcohol is part of the venue, and the money was dealing with the catering (apparently, drinks are not part of catering?). They said the only option we had was to add another appetizer, or offer a late night snack. Well, with each of those you have to order a certain amount for the amount of guest you had. When we added all that up, it was about $700. So, we could either pay another $200 or lose $500. My advice - Low ball your headcount at the contract signing, and then pay extra per person over that amount. That way you do not lose money. The other thing that I was upset with were the servers. The entire wedding party did not get salads, as they were passed out when guests were seated. Since the wedding party was being announced, no salads were at their seats. The wait staff stated they forgot to come back and pass them out (more money I paid and lost). We were told that due to TABC laws that we were not allowed to pour our own alcohol, but that we would have someone only working for my husband and I so that we would never be empty. We were empty most of the night. Our DJ and wedding planner actually filled our glasses most of the night. I still have no clue who our person was. Lastly, the wait staff failed on passing out our wedding cake. After cutting the cake, 2 people went behind the table and started cutting cake and placing them on plates. I told them personally to please place 2 of each cake on my table, and to place some in to-go containers for my husband and I to have later. I also gave them the to-go containers and asked them to place cake in them for guests to take home, or for my family to take so that it was not wasted. My husband and I got NO cake. I thought maybe they just thought I wanted the to-go cake and it would be in our limo, but no. As I was telling people to go get cake towards the end of the night, I saw the waitstaff take the cake into the back where my family stated they saw the waitstaff eating and throwing away the cake! And we never got any of the to-go containers back, even though we purchased them. In the end, the rest of the things went great. The food was so good. The alcohol choices were plentiful. The grounds were beautiful. Our venue coordinator, Madi, was so super helpful and kind. I would recommend Milestone Aubrey over and over again⌠just be cautious of the contract and the waitstaff.

I also gave them the to-go containers and asked them to place cake in them for guests to take home, or for my family to take so that it was not wasted. My husband and I got NO cake. I thought maybe they just thought I wanted the to-go cake and it would be in our limo, but no. As I was telling people to go get cake towards the end of the night, I saw the waitstaff take the cake into the back where my family stated they saw the waitstaff eating and throwing away the cake! And we never got any of the to-go containers back, even though we purchased them. In the end, the rest of the things went great. The food was so good. The alcohol choices were plentiful. The grounds were beautiful. Our venue coordinator, Madi, was so super helpful and kind. I would recommend Milestone Aubrey over and over again⌠just be cautious of the contract and the waitstaff.

They let me do a tour via FaceTime (I was living out of town at the time) and were available and open anytime I needed to drop by to show my mom, fiancĂŠ, and photographer the property. Working with our assigned coordinator Kaytee made everything so easy on the day of the wedding. We ran into a few mishaps (liable to happen to any wedding) and she handled them like a pro while managing to keep me calm the whole time!

My husband I just got married in June at The Milestone Mansion in Denton. The venue is absolutely stunning! There is a big back porch that is perfect for pictures (where we did our first look!) and for guests to enjoy during the reception (if weather permits). The venue made it easy by offering linens/dishware, along with multiple catering and bar options. The food was incredible. We chose the buffet style and it was laid out very well and went smoothly thanks to the wonderful staff.Denise, our day of coordinator, was so sweet! I met with her about a month before our big day to plan out final details. She was so organized and explained everything so well. She never hesitated to help answer my questions (even ridiculous ones, like the dimensions of tables!) It really helped decrease my stress knowing that she would be there to help on our wedding day! Sometimes it was hard to get ahold of someone at the venue when I called, but I always received an email reply within 24 hours.My wedding was on a Friday night, which was substantially less than a Saturday. The only thing I would have changed about my wedding day would have been to get ready at the venue (which was not an option for Friday) and have an extra hour added to the end of the night. It was very rushed to get into the venue at 4:30p (vendors too) with a ceremony start time of 6:30p and leave the venue by 11p (which made our send off at 10:30). Weddings go fast enough, this tight timeframe made the night feel even more rushed. Regardless, the Milestone was the perfect place to have my wedding and I would pick it over and over again!

We got married at the Morgan Creek Barn on the site, and we had a wonderful, beautiful day. We chose to have a morning wedding with brunch and mimosas, which turned out great. Our wedding coordinator, Etheny, was so very helpful and calm the whole day despite some day-of stresses occurring. The venue/grounds are absolutely stunning, and everything went very smoothly. One thing I will say was the time that you pay to rent out the venue for your wedding is VERY fast for a wedding, and requires A LOT of team effort to get everything set up, the ceremony and reception done, and the cleanup afterwards, but it is doable! I used the venue for my bridal portraits as well, which came out incredibly stunning! It was very helpful that the venue allows you to also set up times to come visit when you are still in the planning phases to make measurements, take pictures, show parents, etc. There were only a few minor communication issues between us and the staff about details on our wedding day, but nothing that couldn't be straightened out over email or phone. Overall a gorgeous venue, with a very helpful staff! We'll hold onto the memories we made here forever and ever!

The coordinator, Keri, and all the staff were the utmost professionals and are just genuinely kind people! Everything ran smoothly and we heard rave reviews and compliments from the guests all evening. As to the food, the breaded chicken with lemon butter sauce was one of the best things I've ever tasted! We were practically licking our plates! The green beans were cooked perfectly. It's a delight to work with people who genuinely care and treat their customers and guests like royalty. I really give them a 4.5 rating. First let me say what a gorgeous place the Milestone is!! I already knew it was the venue for us when we pulled up over a year ago. It was always clean and smelled like a new home lol everytime we visited. The staff was super sweet and let me bring my family to visit the venue several times. The ladies who work there were very prompt at responding to my many questions via emails and phone calls. It turned out to be an amazing place for my bridal portraits, the ceremony, and the reception! Everything pretty much ran smoothly, and we are so happy with how our wedding turned out. There were a few reasons I gave 4 stars instead of 5. One was our assigned venue coordinator. When she would email updates to us, there was at least one big detail (which we had already discussed at the meeting) that was wrong in the email, like the rehearsal date or how something was supposed to be set up. We emailed back, always worried that we had something wrong on our end, and her response was always that we were right. We were relieved, but for a venue coordinator to overlook important details when verifying with the bride and groom was just unprofessional. I did not feel confident that she could run our wedding on her own. We were so glad that we hired a coordinator from another company to be there the day of the wedding.Another complaint (minor) was the appearance of the venue steps. This is me being super picky, but it is such a gorgeous venue and the dead bugs on the front steps were just disappointing. We were told earlier that the steps would be power washed, but it just seemed like they weren't. I believe they did power wash, but I was a little bit embarrassed that this super gorgeous, well-kept venue had large dead june bugs on the steps where guests walked in. It was the first impression of the building and it would have made our wedding just that much better if those bugs weren't there. Overall, such a wonderful experience working with the ladies at the Milestone!! I have no regrets about our wedding venue and I hope they will continue to keep brides happy for a long time!!

I left feeling good about the wedding and knew everything was taken care of thanks to her. She made my family feel welcome and utilized the when she needed. If they didn't know, they would have thought she was family by the way she took care of us. I gave it a four star because leading up to the detailed meeting it was very stressful not knowing what was going on but after meeting with Amanda. I would Definitely give her Five Star because she was definitely the MVP of the night!

The staff is completely disorganized and double booked our wedding date so we had to change it and double booked our final venue meeting. During our final venue meeting the month of our wedding they told us that the time we selected a year ago was apart of the contract and we had to pay even more money to move it to the time that was already on our invites. Every step with this venue was one frustration after another. It's incredibly over priced and definitely not worth all of the stress and frustration. I can't emphasize enough to not choose this venue or any of the milestone properties.

They recently finished remodeling the venue and it is beautiful! Unfortunately our experience was less than admiring. Before the wedding day, we had constant issues with scheduling meetings and getting the staff to agree and recognize what the other staff had told us about catering, payments, and that they don't schedule anything on the weekends other than the wedding itself. But they won't tell you any of this when you fork over thousands of dollars and try to schedule months in advance. I was unable to schedule bridal portraits at the venue even after being told they would allow me to if there wasn't a wedding booked. Sadly the excuse of \"having to leave the time slots available for potential visitors interested in the venue\" were given to us time and time again. Between the poor communication, attitudes, and the missing staff the day of, our family and friends felt as if they were watching a drama play out. The staff couldn't figure out how to make their own steamer work after bringing it into the bridal suite. Instead of taking it back to their office to fix it, they stayed in the crowded bridal suite fidgeting and getting in the way of preparing photographers. The two day-of-staff that actually introduced themselves (who knows who actually was paid to help us) were not clicking and made it obvious they had their own plan to stand around. The coordination from the venue was more of supervising that we didn't cause damage. The venue staff did not communicate with the photographers or musicians when asked and even told one of our guests \"they didn't pay for that\" SO UNPROFESSIONAL!!! Luckily, our videographer was a rock star. We may very well have little video of the whole day because he was getting everyone in line and keeping me chilled out before the ceremony. If you are stuck with this venue plan to pay a few years of tuition in order to get the expected service one would think they would receive on what should've been the biggest day of their life. But still pay your own 3rd party coordinator because you don't want to be put in the position we were in. Family and friends could not get the wait staff to assist with the cake pieces to pass them out. When the venue staff did assist they cued the ceremony music early before the ceremony was actually over, so family had to move our unity candle into the reception hall. For a place that was so adamant about the \"details\" they found a way to mess up everything they told us we needed. My husband and I told them before we booked we wanted a simple and humble event. I suppose you have to buy what they want to get anything from them. Had one of our guests not been a coordinator herself I doubt any of our guests would've known what to do. As a bride I shouldn't have had to cue the DJ for the bouquet and garter tosses. As a groom he shouldn't have had to walk back and forth with an hour left in our 4 hour reservation (SO NOT ENOUGH TIME BTW) in order to prepare our exit. It was amazing that our guests were so kind and tried to make us feel better about our experience. Almost a month ago now we thought it was just a stressful day with some pretty pictures. Now we realized that this venue is just there and enjoys taking money and moments away from those wishing to create lifelong memories. Whatever, I am still married! -no thanks to Milestone Denton or Walters Wedding staff. Feel free to ask where to find your milestone coordinator the day of when they disappear out of sight. You'll want to have someone on standby to find them when you need assistance.

Unfortunately our experience was less than admiring. Before the wedding day, we had constant issues with scheduling meetings and getting the staff to agree and recognize what the other staff had told us about catering, payments, and that they don't schedule anything on the weekends other than the wedding itself. But they won't tell you any of this when you fork over thousands of dollars and try to schedule months in advance. I was unable to schedule bridal portraits at the venue even after being told they would allow me to if there wasn't a wedding booked. Sadly the excuse of \"having to leave the time slots available for potential visitors interested in the venue\" were given to us time and time again. Between the poor communication, attitudes, and the missing staff the day of, our family and friends felt as if they were watching a drama play out. The staff couldn't figure out how to make their own steamer work after bringing it into the bridal suite. The only reason this venue is getting 3 stars is because it is absolutely beautiful.The scenery, barn, and pavilion are worth the price tag.Unfortunately, working with the staff is another story. 1) We drove all the way to Aubrey after work one day for our final details appointment, only to realize that the staff was not available to meet with us and to turn the car back around and drive for another hour in 5 o'clock traffic.2) Our assigned coordinator was out on maternity leave and we never heard from her or her backups. The venue just assumed she would be handling things...which she didn't.3) The worst of all was the mix-up with food. My side of the family is mostly vegetarian and we had set it up ahead of time that their would be a dish prepared especially for them-we were told eggplant parmesan. When the day of came, the venue had not prepared anything for my family. 40% of our guests didn't eat anything that night. The worst part is the chef yelled at my wedding coordinator and said we had not requested special meals. Her response: She pulled out the contract and showed him where it was documented.Bottom line: Not organized, crappy customer service...to say the least.

My husband and I just got married here at The Milestone this past October and we couldn't be happier with how everything turned out. We picked this venue because it is absolutely gorgeous, and so convenient having everything we needed provided by the venue: catering, bar, staffing, linens & dishware, decorations and even a day-of-coordinator. Definitely made for hassle-free wedding planning! We also felt that the pricing and policies at The Milestone were more reasonable than may of the other venues we had visited. The property is so beautiful! They added so many stunning features that I wish had been there when we first booked! I loved how accessible and accommodating everyone was. All of my questions were promptly answered, and they always kept me informed. We loved the catering! All of the food was amazing, and the catering staff were awesome. Everyone was especially attentive to us during the reception bringing us food and drinks whenever we needed it. I also like that they do several events throughout the year to give brides the opportunity to do food tastings and get an idea of how the venue will look and how the catering staff will be on the day of. Misty was our coordinator, and she was absolutely amazing! She was so sweet and was great at explaining everything. She was also really great with the kids! I loved how she was always just an email or phone call away if I needed her. The day of went very smoothly. Even though we had a few hiccups (unrelated to the venue), the staff did a great job of keeping the ball rolling. The only thing that I would change would be the available time slots. I felt that I didn't get to fully enjoy the available amenities (The bridal suite/grooms suite) and I felt like our wedding day was very tightly scheduled, and we had to rush through everything. Yes there is an all-day rental option available, but only on Saturday. Other than that, we had a great experience with The Milestone Mansion, and I highly recommend it to any future brides!!!

My Wife and I got married at the Aubrey Mansion. The Milestone was without a doubt the best part of the planning process. On the day the Milestone and the staff was 100% flawless. I have zero complaints whatsoever. Julia our Coordinater was AMAZING! I can honestly say that our wedding went as planned mostly because of Julias help. the food was awesome and everyone talke about how beautiful the venue was. Thank you SO much Milestone for being amazing. Trust me, if you want everything to go well on your day pick The Milestone in aubrey. My Wife and I got married at the Aubrey Mansion. The Milestone was without a doubt the best part of the planning process. On the day the Milestone and the staff was 100% flawless. The venue is such a beautiful place to get married, the price of what you get is so worth it and not over the top âtoo pricyâ, and the food was phenomenal! I still have our guests say, that was the best food they have ever had at a wedding!The bridal suite was a nice area to get ready in and the grooms suite was really awesome! They have a pool table in there for all the guys to hang out before the ceremony. Overall we were extremely pleased with this venue and our coordinator, Denise. I highly recommend this venue to anyone looking to get married in a beautiful setting.

I booked The Milestone- Denton over two years ago when I first got engaged. They are amazing. I live in Hawaii, but got married in Texas because my grandparents lived here. They did their best to make sure that everything went well for us. Keri was my venue coordinator. She went above and beyond. She stayed late to work on my details meeting because of the time difference between Hawaii and Texas. She even came in on her day off so that I would feel better about having my day of coordinator at my rehearsal dinner rather than someone else. I'm glad that I found them. The venue is gorgeous. It has a very southern feel to it. The food was amazing! They made Kalua pig for the first time and did a fantastic job! It tasted exactly like it was supposed to. The alcohol was great. The staff was fabulous. I would recommend this venue to everyone and I would definitely recommend Keri!
