The Mishawaka Reviews
Jacob Mills(other)5 out of 5 Rating
The Mishawaka is an incredible place for a wedding. We loved our experience. The staff was friendly and knowledgable. Unfortunately, it started raining in the middle of our ceremony. We will able to move the reception indoors and everything worked out great in the end. Reviewed on 20-11-2023
Tara Hatfield-Ramirez(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 20-11-2022 We had a late November wedding here with an outdoor ceremony and indoor reception. The booking and planning experience with Gary and the day of experience with all of the Mish staff was amazing. They were accommodating and easy to work with and everything went so smoothly from start to finish at an affordable price point. All of the food also exceeded our expectations. I would host another event here and recommend the Mishawaka Amphitheatre without hesitation. Reviewed on 16-04-2023
Aryn Faile(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 07-10-2022 The Mishawaka Amphitheatre is truly a special and one of a kind venue! My husband and I got married here and can't recommend enough. Not only was every part of our day special but our guests also had an outstanding time and gave rave reviews! Every service offered by the Mish exceeded our expectations including the band recommendation, shuttle transportation for guests and delicious food. We spent the evening dancing to live music under the stars! Thank you to all of the staff at the Mishawaka for giving us such a special day! Reviewed on 06-04-2023
Peter Levine(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 13-08-2022 My wife & I were married out along the Poudre River at the beautiful Mishawaka Amphitheatre. The scenery was amazing and our guests had an incredible time. The food was good and the place is perfectly set up for a live band with a large outdoor stage. Gary and the staff were great to work with and were helpful in coordinating the day. There is a separate small house for everyone to get ready in, and we were able to camp overnight on their own private island! It was a great place to be able to show off some of Colorado beautiful nature and still be near Fort Collins. We would recommend to anyone! Reviewed on 10-01-2023
Skandar Rassas(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 17-09-2022 We had a wonderful experience in the most magical setting. Our ceremony was set on a river between two mountain ranges with the sights and sounds of nature. The Mishawaka staff made it so easy and fun. 10/10 would do it again! Reviewed on 06-01-2023
Eric F(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 09-06-2022 We had our wedding this past summer at the Mish and could not have had a better experience. Gary was fantastic to work with from day one of planning, all the way through the day of our wedding. The staff were professional and courteous. We received multiple compliments from our guests on the venue, food, and atmosphere. I would wholeheartedly recommend the Mish to anyone who is looking for a wedding venue. Liz Powell(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 02-06-2022 We absolutely loved our wedding at the Mish. Gary and team were great to work with, and helped us picture exactly what we wanted when we showed up day off. They worked with our wedding planner, and were flexible on changes and needs that came up along the way.The venue is absolutely stunning and super fun, it’s a concert venue, so it feels like a giant party for sure. I recommend the beer and wine option (you don’t need hard liquor at altitude for the out of towners), and definitely rent the buses to bring people to and from the venue. They really know what they are doing and you can trust the opinions do the folks working at the Mish. Our guests loved it, and appreciated the restaurant, restrooms, views, and space to roam around. We had 100 people, and a 9 piece band, the space was perfect.Highly recommend if you are looking for a unique and fun experience for you and your guests. Reviewed on 02-12-2022
Kristina Ten(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 11-06-2022 We were fortunate enough to get married at the Mishawaka on the banks of the Poudre River. We had lots of out-of-town guests and wanted to give them a real Colorado experience—trust me, the Mish is it! Friendly, laid-back staff, the perfect stage for a live band, and a rushing river right behind the ceremony site. Plenty of rafters and kayakers came through and even cheered us on! My partner and I share a love of music festivals and wild, characterful, off-the-beaten-path places, so the Mish felt special to us the minute we laid eyes on it. This isn't your average stuffy wedding venue ;) So many guests complimented the environment and said they'd never been anywhere like it, and that it made it easy for them to relax—which is exactly what we wanted! Samantha Pack(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 17-06-2021 We had our dream mountain wedding at the Mishawaka last summer. The venue is incredible, our guests are still talking about how beautiful it was (many were from out of town). We spent our college years rafting the Poudre river and stopping by the Mish for lunch, so this place is so special to us. I would highly recommend this venue not only for the amazing river backdrop and rustic setting, but also if you plan to have a band. They're an outdoor amphitheatre perfectly set up with a great sound system ~ all the equipment can be rented onsite. It was tricky to execute due to the ever-changing covid restrictions, but we ended up having a great turnout and the weather was perfect. Staff was very friendly and atmosphere has a very chill and relaxed vibe. Reviewed on 30-01-2022

Gary and everyone at the Mish were so helpful in planning to ensure that the day was smooth from beginning to end, so we didn't have to worry about a thing. The set up, delivery, food, even the weather was perfect that day. We had been there for concerts or just food many times and loved the atmosphere so much that we basically wanted to \"borrow\" that atmosphere they already have going and fit our wedding into it. The Poudre River is really special to us so getting to say our vows with the river in the background was truly magical. Gary made everything from the food to the timeline so easy for us. The food was delicious, as always, and the staff were so great to all of our guests! If you are looking for a beautiful, down to earth place to tie the knot, I highly recommend the Mish! Molly Salmans(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 02-11-2018 Booked this venue for our Dia de los Muertos wedding and it was just perfect! Aside from being in an absolutely gorgeous setting, the staff was super helpful all the way through and they have excellent off season rates. A separate green room with a full kitchen was awesome for the wedding party to spend the day getting ready. The lack of cell service and wifi presents some minor challenges, but also means your guests are not spending the whole event on their phones. Reviewed on 03-11-2018
Amanda Finch(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 08-10-2018 The Mishawaka was my number one choice venue. The food was awesome and weeks after the wedding I still have people remarking on how good it was! An outdoor wedding was planned and the weather turned the morning of the wedding. We had two hourse to make an outdoor wedding an indoor one. I still managed to have the outdoor ceremony I wanted, and Mishawaka staff jumped in to help to recreated my dream day inside! They put out an amazing buffet and took car of any hiccups I had in my planning. And the venue looked AMAZING. There was long horn sheep and deer across the river for most of the day! Abby Dowling(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 12-10-2018 The Mish was amazing. It’s an absolutely beautiful location, so our pictures are amazing and guests loved it. It is also extremely convenient as it has a kitchen and a bar already in place so those are two vendors you don’t have to mess with. We had a singer too so it was great for that as well, since it’s a music venue with two stage options. They do have a bus you can rent although we used alternate transportation. The staff was great, very helpful and efficient. Finally, we found the Mish very affordable for everything you get. Definitely recommend! Reviewed on 22-10-2018
Allison Smith(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 20-09-2018 We had our wedding at the Mish, and it was AMAZING! We had such a terrific time. Gary their event coordinator was a doll and easy to work with, his staff worked hard and helped us have the best time we could have had. The meal was terrific, everyone was full and happy, there was plenty enough to drink (alcoholic and non-alcoholic). Pricing was very reasonable. I would say the only thing for any couples to consider if they are planning to have their wedding at the Mish is to invest in walkie-talkies because there is zero cell reception and no WiFi up there, so communication is minimal once you get into the canyon. But the staff was great, there was good food, plenty of space, a beautiful view.. Rustic and casual but also had just enough class and elegance. We couldn't have imagined better for our wedding. Thank you Gary and the Mish staff for helping us make our day the best we could have hoped for! Reviewed on 01-10-2018
