Located in Pittsburgh, PA, The Monarch Veil is a countryside wedding venue. It is nestled on five acres and is surrounded by an idyllic landscape that easily complements a range of wedding themes. Originally, it was a restaurant called Jardine's and then J-Barn Country Inn. After sitting unused for three years, the current owners took over. Now repurposed, this venue allows couples to celebrate with a wedding that suits their theme and vision. There are three event spaces throughout The Monarch Veil for couples to choose from for their big day. Each features climate control to provide you and your guests with comfort during the festivities. Couples can choose from The Arcadian, Hearthstone Hall, and The Cardinal House. From its completion, the largest, The Arcadian, can accommodate up to 300 people. The smallest, The Cardinal House, is suited to gatherings of up to 80 guests. These venues feature rustic and chic architectural details. Examples include the stone fireplace and wood paneling in Hearthstone Hall. It has an overall industrial-farmhouse style that can be paired with a variety of wedding schemes. The team at The Monarch Veil can provide you with suggested vendors for a number of services to help make planning simple. What Janae & Dean have done to transform the old J-Barn into the new Monarch Veil is amazing! All the old charm is still there, but re-beautified. The restaurant has held many memories for us over the years, including being where my fiance and I had our first date. We had the honor of being the first wedding held at the Monarch Veil, and I couldn't have been happier! The space is beautiful, and Janae & Dean made every step of the process so easy for us. I highly recommend the Monarch Veil!! Thank you, Janae & Dean for helping to make this day so very special for us! You will definitely do well with this venue, and are amazing hosts!
