The Monte Bello Estate is a wedding venue located in Lemont, IL. It features the largest wildflower preserve in the state, and an abundance of ponds and oak trees to act as your natural ceremony backdrop. You will have an array of locations to choose from in this pastoral setting, each one brimming with picturesque views and flourishing land. Ideal for couples that are looking for simple elegance in nature, The Monte Bello Estate offers over 55 acres to get creative with. Its breathtaking landscaping and architecture creates a fairytale aesthetic to make you feel like you’re stepping in another world. You and up to 275 guests can enjoy the grounds, which are home to over 145 varieties of planted flowers. Among the colorful onsite gardens is a peaceful waterfall with natural stone decorations for a tranquil setting. Their indoor ceremony space is adorned with crystal chandeliers and floor-to-ceiling glass windows, giving your guests a full view of the woodlands. For outdoor ceremonies, you and your partner can exchange your vows underneath a wrought iron gazebo surrounded by mature trees. Well-manicured lawns and waterfront docks are present throughout the property, available for photo sessions, cocktail hours, and receptions. Your wedding entourage will be welcome to use the spacious dressing suites, with lounge furniture and various games to play away the prenuptial jitters. The Monte Bello Estate holds a one-event-per-day policy, to ensure you and your loved ones have the setting to yourself. Chiavari chairs, tables, and dinnerware will be made available to you, and set up to your preferred arrangement. Their food and beverage packages include mouthwatering hors d’oeuvres, artisan baked breads, and three-course dinners for you to enjoy. Onsite wait staff and bartenders will be present, to care for all your guests culinary needs. In addition, a venue coordinator and greeter will be there and handle important details, while you spend time with your loved ones.

Pictures don’t do it justice on how beautiful the Monte Bello Estate is. After we toured, my husband and I instantly knew this had to be our wedding venue. We loved that the Monte Bello Estate truly had everything we needed all in one spot. Two large separate areas for the girls and the guys to get ready, several gorgeous options for ceremony spots and a stunning reception room with beautiful views of the outdoors. On top of that, the staff at the Monte Bello Estate is top notch and are pros at having a wedding run smoothly! From start to finish, the staff at Monte Bello Estate were very accommodating. Quick to respond to all our emails and extremely helpful throughout the planning process. We had the pleasure of working with Abbey, Kristina and Lauren. On the day of my wedding, Abbey and Kristina checked in on me multiple times to make sure everything was going the way it should and if there was anything I needed. Several people have told my husband and I that our wedding food was the best wedding food they have ever had! We could not be any happier on choosing the Monte Bello Estate as our wedding venue! Highly highly recommend!!

\tWe want to start off by saying that The Monte Bello Estate was the first, and ONLY, venue we visited when selecting a wedding venue. As soon as we pulled up we knew we were someplace special. This venue somehow combines rolling green hills, beautiful trees, and a beautiful estate and as soon as you pull up you will quickly understand how stunning The Monte Bello is. We met with Lauren for our tour/meeting and she made our decision even easier! Lauren is incredibly nice, informative, and helpful, and she remained that way throughout our entire wedding planning process. She really is the best and we made sure to tell the owner of The Monte Bello the same thing towards the end of our wedding when he popped in to see how everything was going. \tBeyond the amazing grounds and staff, the estate itself is absolutely gorgeous. They had made some renovations to the estate, reception area, and bathrooms prior to our wedding and all the updates they made were a 10/10. We had our ceremony in the “forest” location, which was amazing, with a champagne/water station for guests to grab a drink on their way to get seated. The reception was inside and all of our 200+ guests fit perfectly (shoutout Lauren for being so helpful with arranging the tables and making the most of the space!). We have received so many compliments on the food and drinks, whether it was the hors d’oeuvres, cocktails, dinners, desserts, or our wedding cake, everything was outstanding. We really can’t recommend The Monte Bello Estate enough. It is such a beautiful venue, there’s no way you would ever regret having your wedding here. The amount of compliments we’ve received since the wedding are countless and we are so happy we had our wedding here. If you’re currently searching for a wedding venue, PLEASE set up a time to visit The Monte Bello Estate. We will never forget the day we had here! Thank you so much!

From our first visit at the Monte Bello Estate, we knew it was the perfect venue for our wedding. We loved the stunning grounds and the gorgeous estate, each room is more beautiful than the next, but what made MBE our dream space is truly the incredible staff! We had the pleasure of working with Lauren and Abbey as well as other team members throughout, who all made us feel like family. They matched our excitement, answered all of our questions timely and ultimately went above and beyond to bring all of our inspiration to life. We feel so grateful for the team making the whole process so easy!!Our big day in August 2023 was everything we hoped for and so much more, the most magical day of our lives!! With all of the awesome renovations, we along with our favorite people got to enjoy the most elegant and unforgettable experience. The bridal and groom suites had the exact vibes we were going for, aesthetically beautiful for the gals and fun games for the guys, which made us feel so relaxed that we genuinely enjoyed the time with our wedding party while getting ready. We intentionally opted to have our ceremony inside, and it was the perfect intimate moment in which all of our 180 guests fit comfortably.There are so many gorgeous photo ops, and everything is so perfectly laid out that it felt totally natural to pause for photos and continue the fun. The outdoor cocktail hour space was unique to enjoy the grounds more, and our guests loved it!! The food was delicious, and thanks to the lovely MBE “Raise the Bar” event, we had the best additions to our bar and late night snacks. The service team was on point and took care of everything! We would take any excuse to go back, we love Monte Bello & the team so much!! We can’t recommend booking this venue enough.

My wedding day at The Monte Bello Estate was beyond words! Everything ended up more beautiful than I could've imagined even with the light rain that day. My venue coordinator Lauren and the whole team last minute changed my ceremony location due to the rain and set everything up in a new spot outside by the clock tower so my guests would be able to walk on concrete and not the wet grass. That is the upside of choosing this venue, it is so large there are so many options and no matter what it will be beautiful!My guests raved how delicious the food was, I had multiple guests the next day and even weeks after telling me it was the best food they have ever had at a wedding! Our signature cocktails we chose were a hit and our guests enjoyed them throughout cocktail hour and the reception!Lauren our venue coordinator eased all my stress the day of and she was so attentive to me and my family. After the ceremony the venue had mine and my husbands favorite drinks on standby and a tray of appetizers for us. My mom even wanted a different white wine from what they were serving and they grabbed it for her right away!Before the wedding day the venue even does events so you can have your food tasting and then a separate day to experience their signature cocktails and desserts and see the add-ins you can include for your wedding day.The guest bathrooms were just remodeled as well and made a great backdrop for my guests to take pictures in! The reception space, the big glass windows, and the landscaping made for a perfect day that we will always remember! I cannot emphasize enough how happy we were with the Monte Bello Estate for our wedding!

Everyone we worked with were great and helped make my Pinterest wedding vision board come to life and made the entire day go so smoothly! Our guests are still raving about how beautiful the venue was both inside and outside and how great the food was! Also huge plus that they’re dog friendly so our pups were able to be part of the pictures and ceremony. The entire day was truly my wildest dream!

The Monte Bello Estate was beyond perfect for my dream wedding!!! The new renovations are gorgeous and my guests couldn’t stop asking how I found this perfect gem of a venue. Abbey and Lauren went above and beyond to make sure the day went on without an issues and that, as the bride, I had zero to worry throughout the process. Working with Monte Bello was a breath of fresh air when working with my vendors because they were kind, helpful, prompt and willing to go above and beyond for anything you needed. The many different spots on site at Monte Bello make it versatile and a place where you can host getting ready, ceremony, cocktail hour, pictures and the reception while continuing to switch up your location and views. The food and drinks were incredible (we even added on extra hors d'oeuvres we couldn’t narrow it down). I can’t express enough how amazing this place is and choosing The Monte Bello was EASILY the best decision I made throughout wedding planning. If you’re lucky enough to grab a date, don’t hesitate!!!!

Everyone at Monte Bello was wonderful to work with. Lauren, Abbey, Kristina, Ashley and all of the catering staff helped us every step of the way. From the initial tour, to my millions of questions during the planning process, all the way to the rehearsal and final walk through, every single need we had was addressed with not one detail falling to the wayside. We added on the early access with the mimosas and beer bucket, the bonfire and smores, the yard games, the sparklers and some special wine. It was so worth it. We were able to effortlessly get ready at the estate while some family helped set up special items for the reception. They even reached out to our favorite brewery to get our favorite beer as our signature drink that they were able to serve at the bar during cocktail hour and the reception. The food was great and my guests raved about it! Everyone is still talking about every aspect of the wedding. I 1000% recommend having your wedding here. It was truly the best night of my life. You won’t regret it.

This venue is GORGEOUS! We just had our wedding there on June 3, 2023. We did not want the standard banquet hall venue and wanted something different. The Monte Bello Estate did not disappoint and it was exactly what we were looking for. We had the ceremony outside (was also a beautiful option inside if it rained) and then had the reception inside in the beautiful enclosed white tent. This made the whole day go a lot smoother because we did not have to leave. We booked the venue months before they began all of the renovations and I was quite nervous about what it would look like afterwards because of all of the changes. BUT, I was in awe after the renovations. I didn't think it was possible, but it was even more stunning than before! I received so many compliments from our guests about how beautiful and different it was. The staff there is also amazing and very helpful. Abbey, especially went above and beyond at trying to make our special day perfect. I cannot recommend the Monte Bello Estate enough!

We had Abbey as our venue coordinator at the Monte Bello Estate - and we couldn’t have had a better experience. Abbey was so sweet and kind - she made the process so smooth and helped hold our hands through each step. She always made herself available for calls, visits, etc. She was also very quick and thorough when responding to emails. She was an enormous help in making sure our big day was perfect - and in the end - it was perfect.The Monte Bello Estate makes for the perfect backdrop to your event - all staff members (coordinators, grounds crew, servers, bartenders, etc.) are all the best of the best. Every single person we interacted with there was helpful and kind, and the grounds are absolutely stunning. We would highly recommend Monte Bello and we are so happy we had this beautiful place for our wedding!

We had our wedding at Monte Bello in June and could not have been happier with how the day went! It was the only venue we actually toured in person and we knew it was it as soon as we saw it. First of all, the outside is absolutely stunning- no matter which way you turn there’s a prime photo backdrop. Secondly, the built in bridal and groom suites are amazing. The bridal suite is designed for getting ready with a separate area with mirrors and vanity, built in rod for the perfect wedding dress photo. The grooms suite is the perfect man cave, with a poker table, pool and foosball tables and signed jerseys and guitars hung up all around. The venue also renovated in between us signing and the day of our wedding and they made it even better than I could have ever imagined- a lot more neutral walls for photos and a women’s bathroom that was jaw dropping when I saw it for the first time. Throughout our planning process, we worked closely with Abbey who was nothing but helpful and amazing. She was so communicative and always answered my hundreds of questions promptly. Food tasting went swimmingly and the Raise the Bar event (cocktail and wine tasting for signature cocktails and add ons) was so fun. Throughout these events, it was so clear how dedicated the entire team is to making sure we have the best wedding possible.The real tell was the day of the wedding. I’ve heard that most venue coordinators don’t do all that much the day of in terms of helping with third party vendors so that was my expectation going in: I didn’t have a wedding planner so I had assigned all my bridesmaids tasks just in case anything needed to be done. Let me just say- Abbey and the other venue staff took care of everything. All the vendors (florist, photobooth rental, band) came and set up seamlessly without me needing to think twice about it. Abbey even helped with coordinating the timing for the professional during the ceremony. We and all our guests had a blast, the food and drinks were amazing. We got so many compliments on everything, especially our signature cocktails! If you’re looking for a wedding venue, I seriously cannot recommend Monte Bello enough!

The team at Monte Bello have a passion for hosting events and it shows. From our first walkthrough of the venue we were hooked. The staff are so kind and you can really tell that they want to make your day the absolute best it can be. When you choose to have your wedding at this wonderful venue like we did, you can be confident that everything will be perfect. It only gets better after you attend the food and drink tastings. They pull out all stops for you and let you see all the delicious choices, beautifully presented.Aside from the amazing staff, the venue itself is gorgeous. With so many possibilities for photos, event locations on site, and two incredible spaces for the wedding party to get ready, your day will be even more beautiful than what you have in your mind. Warm or cold, rain or shine, they have you covered.

My husband and I had the most amazing wedding and wedding planning experience at the Monte Bello. Abbey + team were extremely helpful and organized throughout the entire process. The tasting and bar experience before our wedding day were extremely well planned and great experiences prior to our big day. Our guests continue to rave about our big day almost 6 months after the wedding. The immaculate grounds, bridal + grooms suite, and knowing we were the only wedding there on the day of were some of our favorite aspects that made it an easy decision to pick the Monte Bello. We wish we could re-live the day a million more times cause it was simply spectacular!

We fell in love with the Monte Bello the second we saw it in person. We loved all of the different ceremony sites to choose from. We always wanted an outdoor wedding, but we're realistic people and wanted a good back up plan. When it rains at other outdoor sites, you're either outside rain or shine or they shove you in a corner somewhere. Not the Monte Bello! We loved that ALL five of their ceremony sites are absolutely gorgeous, including the indoor site. We loved that they had drapery up already, a flower wall, and actually pretty carpet that would go with any color scheme. We got so many complements on our decorations and how our whole setup looked, and besides flowers, it was all the Monte Bello in her natural elegance. We also loved that they are purely a wedding venue. This means that they had special events for all the 2022 weddings, including a bar upgrade party and a tasting party. It also means that we were the only guests there the day of. We worked with Abbey leading up to our wedding and she was incredibly responsive and accommodating. Abbey and Emma tag teamed our wedding as venue coordinators on the day of. They helped us hook up music to the houses sound system for getting ready, ensured all of the tables, chairs, linens etc were set up, had a golf cart at the ready for me (the bride) and guests who couldn't walk as well, and made sure that we always had a drink and food during the reception. They literally think of everything. We would recommend the Monte Bello to ALL our friends.

The Monte Bello estate was absolutely our dream wedding venue. Not only was the estate beautiful, but the food and drinks were delicious, the coordinators were each so helpful, and the few tasting events leading up to our big day were so much fun! I'd love to give Abbey a special shout out because she was answering my many questions so quickly and with much detail. We had quite a large number of people (about 250) and Abbey worked hand in hand with me to determine the best table layout to ensure our guests were comfortable. Our wedding guests continue to tell us how impressed they were by our wedding venue. It is so unique and the beauty of the home really adds to a guest's experience. I have already began to recommend this venue to my friends and family! We are so thankful.

Not only is this venue gorgeous, the people that work there are amazing. My husband and I were well taken care of, and anything we needed, we had immediately. We never had to go to the bar, the venue coordinator (ours was Abbey) and the waitstaff made sure we always had a drink and during cocktail hour, they brought us our own little tray of hors d'oeuvres while we took a breather alone after the ceremony. The staff worked hard to make sure our guests were taken care of, and some of our guests commented on it as well.Something else that is so nice about this venue, is that there are so many location options for ceremonies and first looks-and every location is gorgeous regardless of season. You are in such good hands and I can't say enough good things about The Monte Bello!

Such a beautiful and unique venue. Our initial guest reaction was “Why Lemont?” - until they pulled up to the estate. We loved that there were separate spaces for ceremony, cocktails and reception. Abbey and her friendly and professional team didn’t miss a beat on our special day.One unique touch I’ve NEVER seen at a wedding was the champagne and lemonade display for guests as they came up to the ceremony space. Definitely set the tone for a special event.

When we first got engaged, the Monte Bello was one of the first venues we looked at and I immediately fell in love with it! From the second we booked a tour, the girls at the Monte Bello were so accommodating and on top of everything. Anything we needed Abbey, and the girls would respond ASAP. As far as the venue goes, the grounds are absolutely stunning. Guests from our wedding still say how it was the most beautiful venue! Everything about the venue is truly perfect! I cannot recommend the Monte Bello Estate enough!

I truly can’t find the words to describe how amazing it was to have our wedding at The Monte Bello Estate. It was a no brainer once we went to tour the property but the thing that made it even more magical was getting to work with their amazing team. Everyone was SO helpful from the get go – especially Abbey. They were quick to respond to our endless questions, helped us navigate having to move our wedding date and were beyond helpful the day of (especially since we had to make a last minute call on indoors or outdoors due to rain). Abbey and her team made everything run so smoothly that both my husband and I had zero worries the week leading up to our wedding and the day of. She made us feel like VIPs and was constantly checking in to make sure we had everything we needed and were enjoying ourselves. I would recommend Monte Bello in a heartbeat to anyone that asked – trust me, you won’t regret it!!PS. We have had SO many people tell me that the food was the best they’ve ever had at a wedding - everything tasted AMAZING and the tasting was a blast :)

Picking a wedding venue can be overwhelming, and during my search, Monte Bello was a clear standout from the rest. A few things that made it so appealing was the fact that I could host my guests for the ceremony and reception (as opposed to traveling from one place to another). My husband and I wanted to have an outdoor ceremony, but we knew a wedding in April in Chicago was a toss up, so he was adamant that our plan B would not look like a plan B. Even though we ended up being blessed with a beautiful 80 degree day, we would not have been disappointed indoors with the beautiful floor to ceiling windows in the ceremony space. Total win-win. Another thing that stood out to us was the food as well as the dietary accommodations. We were interested in a brunch menu and Monte Bello was incredibly creative in the options they offered. The service was wonderful and after our wedding we had a number of guests rave about how wonderful it all was. One guest told us it was the best wedding food they had ever had! It meant so much to us that our family had a good time celebrating with us. It was the perfect wedding and we would 100% recommend it to others.

I got married this past October at The Monte Bello Estate, and I can't begin to describe the perfection that is this venue. I'm from the area and knew I wanted something cozy, unique, beautiful and accommodating of 250 guests, and I found that at Monte Bello. From the different location options to have our ceremony at, to the twinkly lit cocktail hour, all the way to our beautiful, fun and elegant reception space. It was nothing short of a fairytale. You can have a beautiful space, but what is it without the TLC of the staff? I couldn't even imagine planning my wedding without the help from our wedding coordinator at Monte Bello, Abbey Casteel. Abbey is friendly, responsive, organized, thoughtful and really makes you feel taken care of. When the bakery we chose at the food tasting was no longer available for our date, and we were pretty set on their flavor, Abbey went above and beyond to reach out to approved baker vendors to help us find our perfect cake. We absolutely couldn't love her more!! I was blown away with the different events MB had for the future couples like the food tasting, and cocktail hour tasting which just added to our wonderful experience at the estate. I wish we could go back to 10.16 at Monte Bello every day and I could not recommend this space more for your wedding!!

First of all, Monte Bello Estate is a hidden gem in the western suburbs of Chicago. Absolutely stunning grounds with several locations for your ceremony. We chose the forest and cold not be happier! The Estate offers a wonderful place for the bridal party to spend the day getting ready with lots of beautiful backdrops for getting ready photos. The reception room is elegant and inviting to your guests. But one of the biggest reasons we are so so happy that we had our daughter's wedding there is the staff!! Hands down the best!! Communication was excellent and very friendly. They also had lots of creative ideas and were always eager to help when asked. I want to adopt Abbey into our family! Oh, and the food is delicious!! Our guests are still commenting on how good the appetizers and meal tasted. Run don't walk to check this venue out for your wedding!!! I wish we could do it all over again!

MB was a dream come true for our wedding day. We were searching for a unique venue, and from the minute we walked up we knew that we wouldn't find better. MB was perfect through our whole postponement process, nothing but understanding and kind. On our wedding day, Abbey made sure it was nothing by smooth sailing. From moving our ceremony inside at literally the last minute due to rain, to having drinks ready on the bar at the start of cocktail hour, finding my groom and I to deliver appetizers and even saving my favorite flavor of white claws at the bar. If we could do it all over, we would pick MB all over again!

We could not be more happy and thankful that we decided to have our wedding ceremony and reception at The Monte Bello Estate! From the first time we visited the venue, to the morning after our reception, everyone at The Monte Bello was welcoming, helpful, enthusiastic and consistently went above and beyond to ensure we had the experience we were envisioning! The food tasting and 'Raise the Bar' events were both top notch and were great ways to preview the food and drink, as well as meet the other couples getting married. On the day of our event, their staff ensured that everything was handled and coordinated so that there were no last minute headaches for us to deal with. We were able to truly enjoy every minute of our day. Our guests continue to tell us how great of a time they had and how impressed they were with the grounds, the food, and the service the night of. We are so thankful for The Monte Bello and could not recommend it enough!

From the moment my husband and I drove up to the Monte Bello Estate for the first time, we knew it was the place we were meant to get married. The overwhelmingly beautiful grounds, whimsical details around the estate, and elegant event space create a venue that is truly unforgettable and timeless. On top of the gorgeous venue, each member of the Monte Bello team made my husband and I feel like friends or family. They were always available to help us with decisions or planning considerations, which when planning a wedding in the middle of a pandemic, was so reassuring and relieving to have a caring and considerate team. Abbey was our venue coordinator and was in constant communication with us right up to our wedding day to ensure every detail was prepared for and captured the way we hoped. The food and beverage directer also worked closely with my husband and I to create a personalized menu that was safe and suitable for all of the dietary restrictions and allergies that both us and our guests had. She even created some custom dishes based on our requests (most venues would NEVER do this!). When it came time for our big day on June 26th, 2021, every detail came to life perfectly because of the amazing Monte Bello team! Thank you for making our day memorable, special, and custom to us! We are so grateful!

Every correspondence was so friendly and thoughtful, and we really appreciated that we were able to get in to set up a few things ahead of time (we had a Friday wedding). This venue is a fairytale come true!! Every detail from the house, to the decor, to the lovely prairie is mesmerizing! The first time we visited took my breath away! I love how personal we made it and the space allowed for endless possibilities. Our guests were beyond impressed with the venue, with our wedding coordinator (Sarah), and with the FOOD!!! A huge bear hug for Sarah! We had some scheduling issues and the way she still kept us on track was incredible. To make a COVID bride happy is nearly impossible, but I couldn’t be more happy with the outcome! My biggest tip if you have the ceremony at the venue is to get early access because you’ll want all the prep time you can get. This is a very unique way to celebrate your big day!! There’s no need to look anywhere else. The Monte Bello Estate will blow you away!

Our wedding experience at the Monte Bello was amazing!! They were flexible and easy going through two reschedules due to Covid. Their staff, especially our coordinator Abbey, was fantastic and showed genuine interest in our event going well. Communicating with them was easy throughout the entire wedding planning process, and we were never left with unanswered questions. On the actual wedding day, Colleen and Abbey were absolutely amazing!! We had our ceremony and reception at the venue, and Abbey made sure the day went smoothly. Throughout the night, Abbey was checking in and making sure we had appetizers, our food, drinks, etc., which we appreciated so much!! The venue itself was beautiful and the food, cake, hors d'oeuvres at cocktail hour, and drinks were all great! All of our guests had a blast. If you're looking for a unique place to get married with beautiful places for pictures, then this is your venue. We couldn't have asked for a better experience and wedding day!!!

When searching for the perfect venue, look no further! We fell in love with the estate from the moment we took our tour there. The grounds are gorgeous and the estate has everything that you need. We booked immediately! Abbey was the best to work with while we were planning and was very organized throughout the whole process. She truly made wedding planning seem easy! Our wedding was in August 2020 and we had to cut our guest list due to covid restrictions. Abbey and the Monte Bello staff were on top of all safety procedures and had thought of every policy possible to keep our wedding guests and staff safe. The week leading up to our wedding, we were thrown another curveball with further restrictions. Monte Bello worked around the clock and transformed our indoor reception into a complete outdoor reception so that we could still have our big day. They went above and beyond with planning for this and our wedding was the most magical day ever! We had endless compliments throughout the day and night and even for weeks after. My husband and I are so grateful for Monte Bello and their staff. This truly is a one of a kind venue and they worked so hard to make our dreams come true!

I cannot say enough positive things about Monte Bello and their incredible team. From day one, we were treated with kindness and every detail was executed to perfection on our wedding day. We had the privilege of working with Abbey and she was just amazing. I didn’t worry about a thing. Our guests were impressed with the professionalism of the entire team. The food was outstanding and our guests continue to tell us it is the best wedding they have ever been to. My husband is blind, and while he is very independent, the team went above and beyond to ensure his needs were met; whether that was carefully explaining the floor layout, to tapping him on the shoulder so he knew food was being placed in front of him. My husband and I will always cherish our wedding day, however we never thought we would cherish the “planning” process. Monte Bello makes it easy and fun. We cannot thank them enough!

When my husband and I first pulled up to The Monte Bello Estate, I immediately said we have to get married here! It was so beautiful and \"fairy-tale perfect\" (as people have said who attended). And I am so glad we ended up getting married here! The venue was beyond beautiful the day of our wedding, the food is terrific. I know a big concern with food is that it won't be as good the day of as it was at the tasting. But that is not the case here, I've had many friends say this was the best wedding food they've ever had. Also, the Monte Bello staff is amazing! We worked with Abbey and she was incredible! Given Covid and all the changes and unexpected difficulties, she was so quick to get back to us and was so caring throughout the process! We originally were supposed to get married in April but had to postpone. We ended up getting married in September, and found out 2 weeks before that it could only be 25 people. But Abbey was so terrific through all of that...communicating with us and doing everything she could to make our day the best it could be! And she did not disappoint, the day of everything turned out perfectly and the whole staff at Monte Bello were so kind and amazing! I truly can't recommend Monte Bello enough!

When my husband and I first saw Monte Bello during our venue search, we immediately knew that this was where we wanted our wedding to be held. From the very start, Abbey was absolutely amazing! Not only was she extremely helpful and professional, she always made us feel like a priority. Once it became apparent that we were going to have to alter our plans due to coronavirus, Abbey helped us through all the challenges of postponing, and gave us peace of mind as we figured out what to do. We ended up moving our original church wedding to a small outdoor ceremony at Monte Bello, and it could not have been more perfect! Once again, Abbey was so patient and helpful in making sure everyone was where they needed to be, and helping the ceremony flow smoothly. Our guests loved the venue and couldn’t stop commenting on how beautiful it was (pictures don’t do it justice)! We had our postponed reception a few weekends ago, and as usual, the Monte Bello team went above and beyond everything we expected. Our day-of contact was Courtney, and she was so patient and accommodating! From letting us bring decorations early to always checking in to see if we needed anything, she made sure everything ran smoothly all evening. We truly cannot recommend Monte Bello enough!

My husband, family, and I were beyond impressed with this venue. I am SO happy we picked this place to have our ceremony and reception. When initially looking for wedding venues I knew that I was going to be very picky. I work in the wedding industry as a florist and have seen dozens of venues in the area but have never been here before. After seeing pictures online I knew I had to see this place. When pulling in, our jaws dropped - it was even more beautiful than the pictures and the property was massive. One piece of advice I would give is to book this place fast because spots fill up quickly (rightfully so since it is gorgeous). We booked our July 11th, 2020 wedding date in January 2019 and had about a year and a half to plan. Abbey was our coordinator at Monte Bello and she was wonderful with the planning process. She was kind, organized, and always replied in a timely manner. By the time of spring 2020, we were panicking about our wedding due to Covid-19 and whether it was going to be canceled or not. We debated postponing but there were, unfortunately, no summer dates left for 2021. Monte Bello was so amazing with the constant change of plans and even held a tentative date for us in the spring of 2021, but we were all still hoping we could go forward with our wedding on July 11th. Finally, about 2 weeks before the wedding we got the go ahead from the mayor and the team at Monte Bello to go forward with our wedding with some adjustments. We also had another change of plans in that we were originally supposed to have our ceremony in a catholic church but were unable to do so with their Covid restrictions. Monte Bello helped us plan an entire ceremony in a matter of only about a week and I'm so happy we had this change of plans because it was the most beautiful outdoor ceremony in the woods. My parents and family kept bringing up that this was the smoothest wedding they have ever been to, down to the cocktail hour, dinner, late night snacks, and everything in between - every server was friendly and brought things out in a timely matter. I have to bring up that the food was AMAZING. We had the option of filet mignon and champagne chicken for our guests and everyone was raving about the food and how they could cut their steak with a butter knife. My husband is vegetarian and I am pescatarian and they even made special entrees for the two of us upon request. My husband said his pesto tortellini was amazing and my shrimp were THE BEST shrimp I ever had! All of our guests said that this was the best and most beautiful wedding they have ever been to and we definitely have Abbey and the Monte Bello Estate to thank for that. We wish we could re-live our wedding date over and over again at this amazing venue :)

Monte bello is the best wedding venue around! My husband and I looked at over 12 places at the beginning of our venue search, and the moment we saw Monte Bello we knew it simply could not be beat. Not only are the grounds beautiful but the staff are amazing. There are so many options when it comes to photo spots, ceremony location, room set-up, food, etc. so you can truly personalize your special day. We worked with both Courtney and Abbey, and we never could have planned a wedding (especially during the pandemic) without them. They remained calm and professional throughout the process, and helped us plan the most beautiful day. The food is amazing and the tasting was so fun! The cocktail hour spot was awesome too! They are always doing upgrades to make the place even more beautiful (in the time I was working with them, they got a new dance floor and redid the entire indoor cocktail hour/ceremony space). My friends and family absolutely loved it. We highly recommend Monte Bello for anyone looking for a beautiful venue whose staff will make sure you have your dream wedding.

My husband and I ultimately chose Monte Bello as our wedding venue because of the beauty of the estate itself, the flexibility it offered with its packages as well as the staff's overall responsiveness to our wants/needs. We felt confident that our wedding would be executed smoothly because Monte Bello is a \"well oiled machine\" when it comes to weddings. We were not disappointed. Monte Bello went ABOVE AND BEYOND when it came to planning and executing our wedding. The venue's coordinators and directors were incredibly responsive, impeccable with details and very very organized. We did not experience any issues throughout the whole process, which made it that much less stressful as a bride. We received SO many compliments about the beauty of the venue itself and how wonderfully the wedding went overall. Having our wedding at Monte Bello was by far the best decision we made with our wedding.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about The Monte Bello Estates. My husband and I had our August 24, 2019 wedding there and it was exactly as I had always dreamed my wedding would be. We worked with Courtney and she was always extremely responsive and helpful. We had our ceremony in the outdoor wooded area. There is so much natural beauty out there that there is really no need for any extra decor. Our cocktail hour was outdoors, and our reception was in the four seasons tent. The Monte Bello photographs extremely well and all our pictures came out beautifully. The food was absolutely amazing as well. We are still receiving compliments on how beautiful our wedding was!

Monte Bello was hands down a perfect wedding venue. It had everything we were looking for and the day turned better than we could have imagined. We worked with Courtney in planning our wedding and she was beyond helpful. One of our favorite things about the venue was the idea of the outdoor cocktail hour since we wanted our guests to be able to enjoy the beautiful grounds. We had some rain the morning of our wedding, but rather than moving cocktail hour inside immediately, Courtney waited until the last possible moment to make a decision in case the weather cleared up- and it did! We were able to have a perfect outdoor cocktail hour. Courtney also helped us arrange ideal seating for our guests- including being able to choose where everything was located, from the DJ to the dance floor to the head table. All of our guests were impressed by just about everything at Monte Bello, but we especially received a lot of compliments regarding the food. The filet and chicken were both excellent options and came out tasting great. We’re so happy we chose Monte Bello as our venue.

Monte Bello was the first and only venue my husband and I visited. As soon as we got out of the car and saw the beautiful grounds with big, mature trees, we knew that's where we wanted our outdoor wedding. The entire venue is gorgeous, both inside and out. I loved the tent-feel of the reception area without actually being outside. June 15 was, unfortunately, a rainy day, but moving everything inside worked out perfectly. Courtney was our coordinator and she was extremely helpful from beginning to end. I lost my dad unexpectedly the week before my wedding and she took initiative and did whatever she could to help my family and me with whatever we needed to finish planning. The food was delicious and we still have guests talking about it. I think the grilled cheese shooters were everyone's favorite and the late-night burgers were perfect for the dancing fools! The only reason I gave 4 stars was due to the cost. Like most venues, the extras really add up and the packages are pretty expensive. With that being said, I would still choose Monte Bello again. Our day was perfect.

We had our wedding at the Monte Bello Estate in September 2019 and it was INCREDIBLE!!! Abbey was our coordinator and we loved working with her and all the staff at the Monte Bello. She was knowledgeable, responsive, helpful, easy to work with and kind. We had the use of the full mansion and grounds from noon until midnight and we took full advantage! The bridal suite and groom suite are both amazing and very different. There was plenty of space to get ready in both and take some pictures. The interior of the mansion and the grounds are just beautiful and well taken care of. We were married under the gazebo on the grounds and we took all our wedding photos there as well. Our photographs are incredible, and we will cherish them forever. Abbey made sure that all the details of our wedding went smoothly. She personally went above and beyond to make sure that our guests that needed a little extra assistance received it. We will always be grateful for this. The meals that we selected were delicious, our guests still talk about how tender their steak (or chicken) was and how it could be cut with a butter knife. Everything from the location, staff, bar/cocktails, appetizers, meal and dessert were just perfect. Our guests are still talking about how beautiful and unique our wedding was. We cannot say enough about the Monte Bello and their team. We loved our wedding at the Monte Bello and we highly recommend them!

Overall, we had a great experience and a dream wedding at The Monte Bello Estate. Many of our guests commented on how special and beautiful the space was. We were also able to capture lots of one-on-a-kind pictures on the grounds.We had to move the cocktail hour at the last minute due to rain but there wasn't any impact to our timeline or guests' experience. The servers, bartenders, etc. were also all great and made sure the bridal party and family were well taken care of.The team was easy to work with, we started planning with Sara, then worked with Abbey, and finally worked with Courtney for the day of. Everyone was very responsive to email questions and special requests (for example, we asked to bring in a custom sweet table, a tradition with Greek weddings).Would highly recommend the Monte Bello for your wedding or event, unique space and great team!

From day 1 of working with The Monte Bello Estate it was a breeze. The ladies are amazing at making you feel at ease throughout the whole planning process. Not only is the venue absolutely beautiful but it is a timeless experience. Everything is done in house for an easy planning perspective.. one stop shop!! We got married on August 3rd of 2019 and the landscaping was a dream. Every guest from our wedding is still talking about how amazing the food, venue and service was. We cannot thank the Monte Bello enough for how amazing they were and how beautiful our wedding was. We highly recommend having your wedding here, you will not be disappointed and who doesn't loving having a wedding where your guests cant stop talking about it!?

Despite not being able to have our wedding outside (it rained AND snowed on our April wedding day), it was still the most magical wedding. Abbey deserves a very special shout-out for all of her help - she went above and beyond helping us plan our wedding and was extremely patient and kind with answering every email/phone call that was sent to her. The Monte Bello Estate was an amazing location for our October wedding. The location is breathtaking. Being able to use the whole grounds for photographs made it possible to get some memorable photos that we will cherish forever. Purchasing the bridal and groom sweet for the day was a plus. The bridal sweet was beautiful and the groom sweet is awesome! The guys never wanted to leave that room. We had our wedding outdoors by the pond and the chairs and heaters were setup for us to accommodate all of our guests. Abbey was an absolute pleasure to work with. She really made it easy to plan our wedding and took the stress away from all the small things. The payment for our ceremony and reception were divided to make the payments manageable which was a plus. We initially met with her to go over our estimated guest count and main wedding details and then constantly kept in contact. Abbey was happy to answer all our questions and responded quickly to our emails. She even helped suggest possible rehearsal dinner locations, dj, florist, photographer and even hair/makeup salons. She sent us a layout of the tables and placement of all items that we could alter to our liking. This place is hands down breathtaking. We highly recommend the Monte Bello. The food and cake was also delicious (even the children’s meals looked amazing). we received many compliments from our guests on the food and cake. I was also extremely pleased with the fact that they helped set up and we did not have to worry about anything ourselves. At the end of the night the staff was extremely helpful with cleanup and helped gather any decorations that we were keeping or tossing. The whole night the staff were on top of their game making sure everything was running smoothly and our guest had everything they needed. They really made our wedding amazing and all of our guests were amazed with the location and its beauty. If you’re looking for a venue in the Lemont area- this is your place! :)

We had our wedding here in October and it was AMAZING!!! Throughout the entire process Sara, Abbey, and Katie were super helpful and attentive. They had a lot of great suggestions and everything went off without a hitch! People are still talking about how this was the most fun wedding they've ever been to, and how gorgeous the Estate is. It even rained on our wedding day which was less than ideal given how beautiful the grounds are, but the indoor ceremony and pictures looked more gorgeous than I could have imagined. I still have dreams about my wedding because of how beautiful The Monte Bello Estate is. I could not have asked for a better place to have my wedding. My husband and I had family flying in from Arizona as well as family that was local in Illinois and everyone was blown away by this venue and still talk about how gorgeous it was. It is timeless and stunning, inside and out, and my husband and I could not have been more happy with our magical wedding location.Wedding venue's are everywhere and relatively easy to come by, but if you want a gorgeous venue AND an amazing support system to get you through this wedding planning process, you NEED to use The Monte Bello Estate. Courtney Troyner is not only one of the best Venue Coordinator's out there, but she is truly just the sweetest person. I live in Arizona now and she was willing to have non-stop communication with me throughout the entire planning process. Courtney was so patient with me when figuring out our guest count and floor plan as we had several family hardships that came up towards the end. She offered so many helpful suggestions that I wouldn't have even thought about, AND when my makeup lady bailed 9 days before the wedding, Courtney was able to suggest an awesome makeup artist and SHE did the research to see if she had availability. It meant the world to me.The staff, all around, goes unmatched at The Monte Bello Estate. My husband and I, as well as my family, couldn't have been any more thrilled with how our wedding went at their venue. All of the support from the staff was unlike any other, the venue is absolutely beautiful and the food and extra services was worth every (incredibly reasonably priced) dime we spent. I cannot say thank you enough to them for making the entire process everything a bride could ever dream of.If you are looking for a place to blow your guests away and have a magical wedding, The Monte Bello Estate is the place to be!

We had our wedding at The Monte Bello Estate this September. We had a total of 255 guests. It was one of the most beautiful venues and just the perfect day. The grounds are so beautiful (pictures don't do it justice), the mansion is so unique, and the reception area is wonderful with all the windows. It was everything we wanted and so much more. This venue is unlike any other I have been to, it's unique and very very intimate, we loved it! We worked with our coordinator Abbey who was so accommodating to all of our needs, very prompt in responses and really was just a pleasure to work with. We cannot say enough good things about The Monte Bello and their staff (especially Abbey). Thank you so much Abbey for making our dream wedding come true, we cant wait to see our video & photos!

We worked with our coordinator Abbey, and she was great! She did such a great explaining everything and making us feel calmer about all of the details. She was very available and so helpful with everything. We learned that weddings are really expensive through this process, but the location is beautiful! We booked in winter when we saw it, and it was even more beautiful in the summer when we were married. We would recommend attending the tasting nights, as they were helpful to fine tune the menu. Our guests loved the space, and it was nice to have different rooms within the estate available to us.

Monte Bello made all of our wedding dreams come true. We had our wedding reception at Monte Bello in August 2018 and it was flawless. The team at Monte Bello, specifically Abbey, was SO great to work with. We rented the venue for the whole day so we could get ready in the bridal suite/groom suite. It's important to know, if you are renting it for the whole day that means beginning at 9:30 a.m., they were accommodating and allowed us to come at 9:00 a.m. but if you need more time to get ready in the morning you may not want to do the early access and get ready elsewhere. The bridal suite was a dream to get ready in. So much natural light, and enough space for myself, 9 bridesmaids and 2 mothers to all hang out and get ready in. The groom suite is so fun and made for some great photo ops while the groomsmen got ready. We went off site for the ceremony for religious purposes but if I could have had the ceremony on the grounds I absolutely would have. The grounds made for gorgeous photo opportunities, and it was great because my husband and I have 7 nieces and nephews under the age of 5 so it was great for them to be able to run around outside while their parents took pictures as they were apart of the bridal party. One thing to note, we rented a 50 passenger bus for the day of to take us from MB to the church and back to MB for the reception because we had such a big bridal party, the bus was too big to pull up right in front of the house - not a big deal at all as it wasn't a far walk, but just something I didn't think about prior to the day of.The food was shockingly delicious. We had a tasting a few months before that was very well organized and we were a little underwhelmed by the food at that time but the night of it was delicious and we had multiple people comment on how good it was. They were also very accommodating to dietary restrictions and made sure everyone was fed. They did have some limitations on how flexible they could be with the beer they offered without charging additional fees, but we made it work. If you are specific on your alcohol, you may want to talk to them up front and understand what fees would be associated with getting the types of alcohol you wanted. Our reception sat 255 people, while it was just a little tight, I would not go too many people above that, it was perfect for us. We asked the staff to collapse two tables after dinner to open up more room for the dance floor and they were accommodating - no one noticed. It was also great that they allowed our guests to leave their cars overnight.Abbey and team were always responsive to all my questions leading up to the day, and the day of they made sure every detail was perfect. I can not say enough good things about the venue and the team, we are still receiving compliments from friends and family! I am really obsessed with this venue!!!

My husband and I got married at Monte Bello about 3 weeks ago. I seriously can't even express how perfect the day was and how perfect Monte Bello was for us. The venue itself is so gorgeous and we got lucky that it was the perfect temperature and day out so everything looked amazing. The venue outside is perfectly maintained and the inside is also beautiful. The tent where the reception is held is so pretty and the layout was perfect for being able to mingle with people and also just dance and have fun. The house is so fun and great for pictures. People could not believe how beautiful the venue was, but also how amazing the food was. We had steak and salmon as our two entrees and people could not believe how delicious the steak was. Usually when steaks are mass-produced they are cooked too much, but these were all medium-rare and so good. Overall, we were just so impressed with everything and our guests thought it was one of the best wedding venues they had been too. With that being said, none of it would have come together without Abbey. She helped us with the whole set-up of the day and dealt with me sending her so many emails with tons of questions and was always helpful and super accommodating. She never made me feel like an overbearing bride, which was really nice. The staff at Monte Bello was amazing and helped us with the clean-up and made that so much less stressful. I seriously have so many good things to say about Monte Bello, but all-in-all, it was the best venue we could have had for our wedding and we could not have imagined a better day. Thank you everyone at Monte Bello for making it happen!

Run--do not walk to get married here! Courtney and the rest of the Monte Bello Estate team were outstanding! I always felt heard, communication was easy, quick, and reliable. I live out of state and my mind was at ease during the entire planning process, thanks to Courtney and her team. Guests loved the food and atmosphere. My wedding went PERFECTLY and I know it would not have been possible without the Monte Bello team. It was super hot on my wedding day and the Monte Bello staff did everything they could to accommodate the warm weather (e.g., refreshments during our outdoor ceremony, moving the cocktail hour inside, making sure the reception space was cool). It's one thing to have a gorgeous venue (which obviously, Monte Bello is), but to have outstanding service and a stress-free wedding day is priceless. I can't recommend this venue or this team highly enough!

I got married this May at the Monte Bello Estate. From the moment I walked into the venue, I knew this was the place I wanted to get married. The grounds are absolutely beautiful (which everyone loves) but to top it off, the inside of the Estate is just as gorgeous. Everyone that came to my wedding (230+ people) could not get over how beautiful the Estate was. The Venue Coordinator that we worked with was Courtney. She was absolutely fabulous. She was so kind and very patient, as I am very indecisive. Courtney was there for me with the thousands of questions I had and helped me through my rehearsal and on the wedding day. She was very easy to work with, as if she was a close friend! All of the staff at the Monte Bello were FABULOUS. They were so kind and genuinely wanted to make my day special. To top it off, the food was delicious. Many of the guests relayed that the Filet was the best they have ever had. Thumbs up to the chef that the Monte Bello has! Everything about the venue, staff and food was more than I could ever have hoped for on my special day. Thank you to the Monte Bello Estate for making my dream wedding come to life!

My husband and I cannot say enough about Monte Bello and their team. Our day was truly incredible, and we owe so much of that to our venue. We did not hire a wedding coordinator, we had that with Abbey. She was there for us whenever we needed her, and she did everything in her power to accommodate any request we had for her. As a bride, it is difficult to be in control on the day of your wedding all you can do is trust that things will turn out as you had planned when you arrive at your venue. With Abbey and the Monte Bello team, I didn’t have one worry on the day of my wedding. I knew when I arrived at Monte Bello, things would be set up exactly as I had imagined & it ended up that things turned out more perfect than I ever could have dreamed.Our pictures are absolutely breathtaking thanks to the venue’s vast landscape and impeccable grounds. Our 200+ guests had enough space to enjoy the outdoor cocktail hour, explore and relax in the various rooms of the house, and did not feel cramped at their tables during dinner. Almost a month has gone by since our perfect day, and our guests are still talking about how blown away they were by our venue. We keep hearing things like “That was the most beautiful venue I have ever been to!” and “That was the best meal I’ve ever had at a wedding!”To say that we are ecstatic with the way things turned out is an understatement. Choosing Monte Bello was the best decision we made through the wedding planning process. You will NOT be disappointed if you do the same.

From the moment we stepped foot on the grounds of this estate we new we wanted to have our wedding here. The estate is absolutly beautiful inside and out. Our engagement was two years and Over those two years Abbey made sure to answer any and all questions we had. This just made us extremly grateful to have such a beatuful venue, but the staff being so accomodating made it bitter sweet. We could not have asked for a better expereince throughout our wedding planning and the actual wedding. If we could give above five stars we would!!! The food was also amazing! They have a large assortment to choose from when you do the tasting and it was all prepared in house by their personal chefs. Highly recommend their grilled cheese and tomato cream shooter! We cannot think a single negative comment when it comes to the experience we had with this venue and the staff. Give this place a look when your hunting for a venue and ask for Abbey! She was awesome! Im sure all the other planners are just as awesome though. Every time we visited for a tasting or walk-through the MB had updated something new. I have a feeling that in a few years it will be increasingly difficult to book a date here.

Down to every bit of detail that is involved with wedding planning, Abbey made that process seamless and made sure on our big day that everything that we planned was perfectly executed. And it was everything that I could have ever imagined and MORE! If you are looking for a one-of-a-kind venue that is exclusively YOURS (you will not be sharing any space with any other bride), if you love nature and want an outside wedding, you'll have access to 55+ acres of gorgeous scenery, and if you want your own house with the most beautiful bridal suite for you and your ladies to get ready in while the guys have their own man cave then The Monte Bello Estate is the perfect wedding venue for you!! And, I cannot forget about the enclosed glass tent where the reception takes place is the nicest wedding tent I have been to for a wedding venue. Your guests will also enjoy cocktail hour outside on their newly built outdoor bar and lounge area by their in ground pool. Did I also mention that the food was top notch! Even down to our cake, it was absolutely delicious!! I fell in LOVE with this place and all the people that work there. Best decision that we made when it came to wedding planning was choosing The Monte Bello Estate. This place and their staff deserve 10 stars!!!

From the beginning Katie and Abbey were so open and accommodating to anything we wanted! They were open to making changes to the venue (we had a band) and were willing to make any additions we wanted! The venue is spectacular and will be a day we remember forever! We received so many compliments on the venue and how unique and beautiful it was! We had an east coast/ballroom style wedding which means we danced throughout dinner. This required much planning and timing with the kitchen, which Allie Tucker did a fantastic job! The Monte Bello ran everything smoothly and I have nothing but amazing things to say about all they did for us on our day! Every question we asked was answered quickly and with many suggestions and any help we needed! We will continue to recommend the Monte Bello to any couple we talk to! We could not be more grateful to them for the most amazing day!

We got married at Monte Bello and it was beautiful. It unfortunately rained, but the staff waited until very late to give us the chance to attempt to still have it outside. We really appreciated that, and other ways that they went above and beyond. The food was simply amazing and we keep getting compliments on it. Of course, the venue itself is gorgeous and you couldn't ask for a more idyllic setting. The staff is very helpful and attentive. The only thing that we weren't happy with was they placed the wrong chargers out for the reception, but I think that's the only thing that wasn't correct. They even allowed us to place our favors (bookmarks) into the folded napkins at each seat. I'm already planning to do a vow renewal there years from now (and hopefully with better weather!). Thank you so much to the entire staff, catering, and wait staff at MB...they made our day truly special!

From the moment we drove on to the property, we were blown away. The landscape is immaculate. It is such a beautiful property. We met with Abbey our first visit, and continued to work with her throughout our wedding process. She is THE BEST coordinator around. She remained in contact with us throughout the planning process and gave us advice when needed. Abbey truly went above and beyond the call of duty for our wedding. She returned e-mails promptly, and sent revised contracts immediately any time we made changes (which was often, sorry Abbey!). Our guests raved about the venue, and continue to rave about the venue. Specifically, our guests loved the beauty of Monte Bello and the food. We received so many compliments on the appetizers, signature cocktails, and dinner. We cannot say enough great things about our experience with Abbey and the Monte Bello Estate, we highly recommend it to any couple looking for a truly amazing wedding!

Monte Bello Estate went above and beyond ALL expectations I had as a bride. My husband and I worked closely with Abbey who helped coordinate the day to make sure it ran smoothly. She made our wedding seamless. The food is incredible and the scenery is like something out of a movie. I am so passionate about this venue and the entire staff that works there. They truly made our dreams come true!!

My husband and I had our dream wedding at the Monte Bello Estate. The Monte Bello is really a perfect venue, it is spacious and gorgeous and feels like you are at a garden mansion estate. You can choose to get married outside or inside, and they have a beautiful glass tent for the reception. They are constantly making improvements to the venue; in the year since we booked, they added chandeliers, an outdoor bar, among other improvements. We looked at 12 other venues in Chicago, but we could not get close to this amount of space in the city. The staff at Monte Bello were incredibly responsive and kind through the entire year, although we knew they had so many weddings before ours. They answered all of our messages promptly, and welcomed us warmly to the venue multiple times when we came to show it to our families or needed additional planning meetings. I also loved all the add ons they had to make your event more personalized, we added on s’mores and yard games, and our guests raved about both activities. The day of the wedding, we knew that the staff was there making sure things ran smoothly, but I also appreciated that they trusted us to take care of the space and we mostly in the background. It made it feel like we owned a mansion for the day. Sara and Abbey were especially amazing and made the whole experience stress free, I highly highly recommend the Monte Bello and need one of my friends to get married there so I can go back!

WOW! What an amazing venue. Besides being BEAUTIFUL, everything ran so smoothly on our big day. The staff was so nice and made sure everything was perfect. Our guests loved the food and are still raving over the scenery at the estate. Leading up to the date, I was very happy with the whole process. Everyone was super responsive to all my questions and very helpful. Thank you Monte Bello for hosting my dream wedding, my husband and I are still so happy!

We recently had our wedding at Monte Bello and we couldn't have been any happier with how it turned out. The venue and grounds are beautiful and you can tell they take a lot of pride in making sure everything is perfect. They've recently added an outdoor bar, bonfires and more chandeliers in the tent. All of which made the venue even more amazing. Throughout the entire planning process everyone has been friendly and very quick to respond to emails. They have three package options and a list of add ons that help customize your wedding. The food was good and you have quite a few options. The cake is included in the package and was amazing! You get to try a lot at the tasting and can choose from a long list of flavors. You also get to customize the design. I would highly recommend renting the estate for the day as well. The bride and groom's suite are incredible and great places to get ready and hang out for before the wedding. The ceremony site with the gazebo was one of the main reasons we chose the venue and we're so glad the rain held out so we could get married outside. They do have a back up option if it does rain which accommodates 150 seats and has a beautiful view. But it does seem a little cramped. The only thing I could think to complain about is the carpet in the tent was a little dirty. I noticed it during the tour but with the lighting/tables/decor I didn't even notice during the wedding. They also do not have a \"day of coordinator\" to cue your ceremony/help set up/direct your vendors. This was something we chose to get separate so we didn't have to worry about it the day of. While it's not the most budget friendly venue, you will have the piece of mind it's money well spent. Our guests were very impressed and like us, many had never been to a wedding at a venue like this. Overall the Monte Bello Estate is whimsical, romantic and I would highly recommend it.

We had our wedding at the Monte Bello Estate this past May. The entire experience was great and I couldn't recommend the venue more. Abbey was the venue coordinator we worked most closely with and she was very professional and helpful throughout the process. She was also extremely patient with all of the questions my mom threw at her! The grounds are beautiful and the weather was PERFECT! We could not have asked for a better day. They were also very accommodating with allowing our dog to be a part of the wedding. We've received many compliments since then about how beautiful and fun our wedding was. I only wish that the outdoor bar area would have been finished in time for us to utilize it because I've seen the new pictures and it looks great.I also appreciated Abbey personally coming by several times throughout dinner service to make sure my drink was full!

From the moment we saw Monte Bello, I knew this was where I wanted our wedding. My husband and I really enjoyed working with Courtney. She's very accommodating and was quick to help/respond when I had a question. Both the outside and inside are absolutely beautiful! The food is also amazing. It is pricey, but you get what you pay for :) Even with the most expensive package, many things are extra to add on (everything is in the contract, read it carefully). We added on a few cases of champagne and cordials to have a champagne bar at our reception. The only thing that was a bit disappointing at our wedding is that this was not put out for guests the way we had discussed and most of the champagne wasn't used. Other than that, everything was amazing and we had tons of compliments. It was everything we could have dreamed of!

When I saw that such a beautiful, magical, and relaxing venue known as The Monte Bello Estate existed in the suburbs of Chicago, I was over the moon excited. I had my wedding at this venue in July and am thrilled that my fiance and I chose this out-of-the-ordinary place as our wedding venue. We decided to have our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception at the estate and our guests seemed to really appreciate the ongoing flow of the day. With our wedding in July, the grounds at the estate looked pristine. Our guests were constantly telling us that they loved our choice of venue. Prior to the day of my wedding, I enjoyed working with Abby and Katie to plan the menu, tent layout, and linens for the day. They provided exceptional insight into what would look amazing and be most pleasing to our wedding guests. My reasons for not giving this amazing venue and staff a 4 out of 5 star review is because when it came time to clean up after the reception, my parents and bridal party were responsible. Plus, my husband and I felt that the basement and bridal room could have been better equipped to make us and our bridal party more comfortable. Thank you to The Monte Bello Estate and its staff for making our wedding day a real fairytale!
