The team at Mr. Mudbug & 12 Seasons Catering have recently taken on the charge of providing the Elmwood area with a fantastic event space. Formerly the Rose Garden, we have done a complete modern renovation and given the space a new name. At The Moore, we believe the more the merrier - which is where our name originated from. We pride ourselves in our affordable pricing structure by including more in your packages when you add more guests. We encourage you to invite your closest friends, family, or anyone else you may know to experience our venue. The Moore team truly went above and beyond to make our wedding dreams come true! My husband and I felt genuinely cared for by the staff. They saved me from a wedding day disaster by letting me in earlier than expected due to a power outage where I was supposed to get ready. The food was amazing, the bar service was exceptional, and there’s no way to beat the romance of the interior mantle during the evening. Hopefully, we can have an anniversary party there in the future!

Everything about our experience with The Moore was excellent. Melanie answered all our questions and was very helpful in guiding us through the whole planning and decision-making process. Even with last minute weather-related decisions, we knew we were in good hands with Melanie and her team. The day-of service was out of this world. Gina, our wedding attendant, was a dream. She seamlessly guided us through our wedding day timeline, taking excellent care of us throughout the whole night. Everything was absolutely beautiful! The food was delicious (our guests are still raving about it), the decor was gorgeous and the service was impeccable. The attention to detail from Melanie and her team is simply immaculate. I honestly cannot recommend this place enough! 😍

Our surprise wedding dream was absolutely amazing and PERFECT here at the Moore! The staff was so great and friendly to work with! The coordinators are the best and will work with you in achieving your perfect wedding! Everything was made so easy and the wedding stress was to a minimum because of Melanie the event manager. She is your go to girl, she made the entire process so easy ! I can’t say enough great things from this venue, to florals, to food- it was all amazing!

I can’t imagine a better venue than The Moore. Every step of the way, they made it so easy for us to have the most beautiful wedding day. Melanie was always available and patient with whatever questions I had, and the team incorporated my decorations perfectly and made the space absolutely gorgeous for our wedding day. They also handled our rehearsal dinner, which I did absolutely no work for and turned out just stunning. It’s a beautiful, romantic venue with the most professional and talented staff, and I can’t recommend them enough. Thank you for making our wedding day so perfect!!!

The venue and staff are amazing. Melanie was very gracious with our long planned journey. The food was okay but not the best in NOLA. The DJ was horrible. We curated a list of songs for him to play through the ceremony, reception and he messed up so badly during the reception, my husband screamed, loudly. I recommend getting your own DJ.

I cannot say it enough, but The Moore absolutely went above and beyond to make our day so special. We had amazing communication with Melanie, who helped me with designing the floor plan to our liking and also kept track of everything that needed to be done. Wedding planning is obviously so stressful and she really kept me on top of everything!The day of, I felt no stress what so ever because the staff had everything taken care of. When we saw the room for the first time I knew it would be the best night of my life! The food is exceptional, the service is top notch, and everything just went perfect. I did not have ONE hiccup the entire night.Thank you SO much to The Moore & their staff for making my wedding exactly what I imagined.

Mrs. Melanie and her team were the best any bride could ever ask for! From day one of meeting her, I knew all of my dreams would come true! She answered every question I had and perfected every detail… and did I mention how accommodating she is! On the way to the venue I had high hopes for every part of the reception. Upon arriving, her and her team quickly revamped my cakes to make it look like the cake of my dreams, and I can’t thank them enough for this. Although I didn’t eat much of the food, all of my guests raved about how great it was! The French fry bar was a hit!!! Also, the Dj was awesomeee! I was able to send him a list of songs I wanted to be played, and let’s just say- it was a pretty great playlist the entire night. I can’t thank Mrs. Melanie enough for ensuring every part of the night was perfect. I have had wedding day blues since the morning after our big day! Choose the Moore for the perfect wedding reception and team; you won’t regret it!💕

If you are looking for an all inclusive venue The Moore is your place!! Melanie is absolute god send. She is so quick to respond to your million silly questions and really goes above and beyond for her brides. Our wedding was 02/11/23 and it was a dream come true. Everything was perfect, the venue was stunning. All our guests had nothing but rave reviews for the food. Literally some of the best food at a wedding they have ever had. The staff there were so attentive and welcoming. If I could give The Moore 1000 stars I would!

I wish I could give more stars to The Moore! Our big day was 6/11/22 and thanks to Melanie and her staff, it was a day that we’ll cherish forever. The level of attention, thoughtfulness, and genuine passion for what they do made the entire process a breeze. Melanie ALWAYS answered her phone and emails no matter how many I sent and became more like a long time friend from start to finish. The venue was absolutely BEAUTIFUL and any special tweaks that I requested were made to bring our vision to life. The food was amazing and our guests were raving about the taste and service of the staff. The Moore was a one stop shop for everything and took so much stress away from the planning and execution of what tends to be a difficult process for most couples. I would recommend The Moore to anyone looking for a group of professional, resourceful, experienced, and outright wonderful group of people to make dreams come true. Thank you Melanie and the entire staff for a beautiful day that we will hold dear to our hearts forever!

I can't believe I'm just getting around to writing this review. We got married on June 4 and had our wedding reception at The Moore. I wish I can give them 100 stars. I worked with Melanie throughout the whole planning period and she was FABULOUS. The best thing, I did not have to really do anything... planning was so easy, so stress free. 2 days before our wedding, I dropped off a few personal items that I wanted to display, and Melanie took care of the rest. When we walked into our reception, I was blown away. It was decorated so beautiful, everything was perfect! Our bridal attendants always had our drinks full, and made sure we had everything we needed all night. My guests are still raving about the gumbo and roast. I wish I could get married again and again, and each time I would have my reception at The Moore. Do yourself a favor and book this place!

My experience with the Moore and Melanie was amazing. It was a destination wedding which is stressful in itself but she was so responsive and accommodating that it calmed my nerves many times during the planning process. I tried my hardest Not to be a bridezilla but I did have specifics and a zillion emails shooting her way. The venue space itself was gorgeous and didn’t need much decorating at all. Their wedding packages included a lot such as table cloths, flowers on tables, candles, up lighting, DJ etc. We were fortunate that outside space was created so we had our wedding outdoors which was magical. Though I didn’t eat at the wedding due to excitement and partying, I had positive feedback from my guests regarding the food. From the very first contact to the very last, Melanie was super helpful and cheerful. Her customer service skills are A++++. Would definitely recommend.

Our experience with The Moore was better than we could have possibly imagined. Everything was PERFECT! Our ceremony and reception were so beautiful; we got so many compliments afterwards. The fireplace was gorgeous filled with greenery and flowers from the florist. The food was delicious (this was something else our guests gave us plenty of compliments on). It was also so nice to be able to eat in the bridal suite with only my husband before the reception. The courtyard is a beautiful spot to take pictures especially after the sun went down; those were definitely some of our favorite photos from the night. The parking lots has plenty of safe parking for guests. The staff was beyond attentive the entire night; we didn't even have to ask for anything. Melanie was SO helpful throughout the entire process and always responded in a timely manner. She was super sweet and a rockstar at her job. With the drinks flowing and the provided DJ playing music saying that everyone had a blast at the reception was an understatement. If your guests say it was also the best night of their life, The Moore is doing everything right. I couldn't think of any negative things to say about this venue and their staff even down to the smallest detail. If you want a beautiful wedding without having to worry about all the small details and many different vendors this is the venue for you! I would recommend The Moore 1000 times.

My daughter's wedding was originally at Il Mercato in New Orleans on April 10, 2021 and with COVID we decided to move it to Metairie and we had the wedding and reception on May 21, 2021 at The Moore.To say that they were so accommodating is an understatement. From the minute I called and spoke to Melanie, I knew this was where we needed to be. She was extremely helpful and so understanding of our situation. Melanie went above and beyond to make things awesome for the family and the bride and groom. Their venue speaks for itself and was lovely and the food, it is absolutely the best. The employees who were the family attendants were amazing and helped so much the entire night. I just cannot say how much we loved The Moore and all of the employees and will recommend them to everyone!! Thank you to The Moor that my daughters wedding was absolutely amazing.

I am sooooo happy I chose The Moore as my wedding venue, the space is absolutely beautiful! I had gone to a reception here in February and knew right awaythis is the space I wanted for my big day! I planned my entire wedding in only a couple of months and Melanie made the experience a complete breeze! They offer so much to make your big day planning as easy and stress free as possible and make whatever you want possible. I had my beautiful ceremony/reception all in one space and it could not have gone more perfectly! The food was amazing and the bar is better than any wedding venue in the area. The bridal suite was a perfect space to enjoy some time with my husband after the ceremony. There is plenty of parking and the space is located in a safe area! The staff did an amazing job of checking on us all throughout the night. Only complaint is I wish I could relive the night over again! I am so glad that I found this venue for my wedding! My wedding day was everything I dreamed of. Melanie and the staff made all of my wishes come true. They eliminated the stress of everything, which was a blessing since I finished college just two days before my wedding day! To this day, people still say how beautiful and fun my wedding was! I cannot say enough great things about The Moore and Aaron! Basically, Aaron pulled together an entire reception for us in two months and it was EVERYTHING!!! We were supposed to have our reception downtown in New Orleans but due to covid-19 restrictions, we had to move our reception outside of the parish 2 months before our date (that we had been planning since 2018). Aaron was flexible, responsive, quick, and honestly the night was amazing. We couldn't have asked for a better reception. Not only is The Moore gorgeous but we had so many fun extra things like a champagne wall, sparkler exit, beignets, a photo booth, and signature drinks. If you're reading this unsure of a venue to pick, THIS IS YOUR SIGN! Go with The Moore, seriously, you will be soooo happy you did! I cannot sing their praises enough. Incredible people and an incredible venue!!

I can't say enough how much I loved this venue!! We were originally booked at a different reception hall in Orleans Parish, but, due to COVID, we needed to make a last minute venue change if we wanted to proceed with our wedding in October 2020. After stumbling across The Moore on Instagram, I sent them an email and prayed they were still available for our date. Amanda was quick to respond, and she was extremely understanding and welcoming!! My future husband, parents, and I were all SO in love with the space from the moment we visited. Amanda and her team blew us away with their professionalism, helpfulness, and positivity through the entire \"re-planning\" process just two months before our wedding. She customized a package for us, since we already had some of our own vendors. They made us feel completely at ease during such unprecedented, crazy times. The food, the drinks, the DJ (from The Moore), the setup, everything was PERFECT!!! I seriously could not have imagined a night so beautiful, but Amanda and her crew made it happen. Every single attendee has made a point to tell us after how impressed they were with our venue and how fantastic the food was. I refer anyone planning a wedding to check them out now because they really are the best in every single aspect!!!

I could not say enough good things about The Moore and Amanda specifically. We moved our reception from New Orleans due to the Covid restrictions and by pure luck, the Moore was available for our 12/12/20 date. Amanda is the kindest soul and took away every ounce of stress I had. When we had to change the reception the week before due to new restrictions, Amanda went above and beyond to make it work so we didn’t have to uninvite anyone that already RSVPd. They created an outdoor space with tents and the dance floor was outside but they made it beautiful and elegant. I had full trust in Amanda! Everything came out BEAUTIFUL and my now husband and I had the best time. The food was also so delicious!! Everything happens for a reason and if we had to it all over again, I would choose The Moore. They are nice people who truly care about your event and I would recommend them to anyone and everyone! Thank you SO SO much Amanda!! ❤️

I couldn't say enough good things about this venue. From the moment we met Amanda, we felt great about choosing The Moore for our special day. She kept us in the loop the entire way through all the hurdles 2020 brought us. She, was completely open to all of our ideas and allowed us to be creative to make our day, unique and memorable. The food was incredible, and plentiful. Noone left hungry, and every single guest that attended talked about our wedding for days after. The staff was courteous, and I truly couldn't be happier with the total outcome. If you're thinking about planning any event, definitely put this venue in consideration. You won't be disappointed.

I recently had my wedding reception at the Moore in September of 2020. I truly don't know where to begin with this review because I still can't believe how beautiful the night turned out! The Moore has been recently renovated into a modern ballroom with classic touches. It has a large bar, fine linens, chandeliers, and a fireplace. The food was delicious, and the room looked completely stunning. The best part, however, is their wedding coordinator Amanda! Amanda is extremely professional and detail-oriented. Leading up to the wedding, she was always available for phone calls, emails, and meetings to discuss details. She listened to every detail and designed a plan for decorations, floorplan, and timeline. The Moore was so accommodating and really made our dreams come to life. On the night of our wedding, I was truly blown away! She went above and beyond with decorations and overall atmosphere. Our guests could not stop talking about how beautiful it was! Everything was flawless from the food to the end of the evening when they packaged leftover food and cake for my family. If I could do it all again, I would definitely choose the Moore again.

From the beginning of a Covid 19 pandemic wedding situationto the end of a fabulous reception Amanda at the Moore treatedus like family. A summer of uncertainty led us to The Moore forour September 26, 2020 wedding. We were initially impressed with the beautiful renovations when we first saw the event space. Equally impressive to us was the professionalism of Amanda as she gave us hope that they would be there for us .The room was absolutely gorgeous on the wedding night!!Everything from the linens, chairs, candle/greenery arrangements, floor plan ,and cake table were perfect!!! The food was also delicious and we received many compliments. They truly put in so much effort down to the last detail!! We also wereimpressed with how they packed up our things with care and sent us home at the end of the night with neatly packed food and cake. The team at The Moore gave us a fabulous night and itproved to be our silver lining in 2020 ! It was truly more than wecould have ever hoped for and definitely our areas newestand best kept secret!!!!!

The Moore Venue stepped in 3 weeks before our wedding and exceeded all expectations! From the first conversation, Amanda was engaged, she worked with us, and made a crazy COVID19 wedding a true reality. Truly an Angel. Changing our venue so close to the date was nerve wracking to say the least but she put us at ease and handled everything with grace! We had an amazing wedding and one couldn’t even tell everything that went into putting this day together. Our wedding was flawlessly executed and Amanda is a large reason for that being the case. Our guests loved the food, especially the beignets and boudin balls. The Moore Venue is an amazing venue with a wonderful staff who truly will work to create a top notch experience for you.

We cannot say enough good things about The Moore! We had to postpone our wedding from May to August due to Covid, which forced us to have to quickly find a new wedding venue and reception space. Not only did they take so much stress off of us by taking care of every detail, but they made our special day even better than what we could have imagined. We were also told by multiple guests that the food was the best they had ever had at a wedding, which I also have to agree with! Overall a fantastic experience!

We had our wedding and reception here in June and it was absolutely perfect! The ballroom has a rustic vibe beautifully lit with candles, and the staff were all wonderful! They took care of everything! Literally all I had to do was show up and they did everything else! My bridesmaids and I were able to come to the venue hours before the wedding to get ready in the bridal suite and the staff checked on us regularly to see if we needed anything. I couldn't have asked for a more delightful experience! OH! and the food was delicious!!

The Moore is absolutely amazing!!! Caroline was wonderful to work with and I have never tasted such delicious food at a wedding. My guests were raving about the food and service all night long!! The servers are friendly and efficient and I can't imagine you can find a better experience anywhere!!! The Moore was a five star experience all around and I know my guests would all agree. Everything was exactly the way we discussed and we provided transportation to our guests from St. Patrick's Church in New Orleans which was a short and easy drive. You will love this venue!!!!

We can’t say enough about this venue and the wonderful staff! Amongst all the chaos and uncertainty involved with trying to plan a wedding during the COVID-19 crisis, Amanda and her team made sure that our wedding night was as special as it could possibly be. We originally planned to have our small wedding ceremony followed by a mini-reception at a parent’s house. However, in a matter of a couple of weeks, Amanda put together a beautiful wedding reception that was more than we could have ever asked.The facility itself is incredible. We had previously been to a reception at the “Rose Garden” as the building was formerly known, and this new venue was completely unrecognizable. Everything is brand new and decorated with a very classy, modern look that my wife absolutely loved. Everyone was raving about how elegant it looked - especially the new flooring and the beautiful brick fireplace in the center of the room. The food was all taken care of by Amanda as well through 12 Seasons Catering which is in house, and we were blown away. We could have stayed in the bridal suite and just ate food all night. The staff was amazing, constantly checking in to make sure they were doing everything possible to make our night the best experience possible.After seeing what they can do with only a couple of weeks of planning, we would absolutely recommend using The Moore for any wedding plans! One of the only good things to come out of the Covid fiasco was us falling luckily into what has to be one of the nicest wedding venues in the entire city! If we started the planning process all over again from the beginning, we would choose The Moore 100/100 times!

Most brides have their weddings perfectly planned out months before their actual date. I was one of them or at least I thought I was. The original venue I chose the previous year sold their business to a catering company weeks before my wedding. My heart dropped, and fear set in! Changes were occurring quickly, and there wasn’t a thing I could do about it. I had to trust the new owners to do everything that would make the place beautiful and help make my reception perfect. They did just that! Caroline and Eric are amazing people! They put my mind at ease and definitely exceeded my expectations! They made the night so pleasant and amazing that I never felt rushed. I enjoyed every second of my reception! If I had to do it all over again, I wouldn’t have changed a thing. Everything happens for a reason, and I believe they were meant to coordinate my reception. Thank you for everything you have done for me! I wish you all of the best, since that’s how you made me feel!

My husband and I originally booked our reception when this venue was still the rose garden. Fran and Amie Tusa helped us plan our entire wedding from catering to wedding schedule entirely though emails and phone calls since we live in California. They were very responsive, attentive, and easy to communicate with. I had my heart set on their family running our reception since we really bonded with them. Ownership of the venue changed approximately 3-4 weeks before our wedding so we were pretty much scrambling to make sure everything was going to go according to our contract. Amanda the new coordinator was very helpful in going through our wedding reception plans, food, table settings, etc. she was easy to contact and communicate with. They also updated the venue with a newer more modern feel to it which was nice. Our wedding reception was beautiful and food was great. It just felt very unorganized and rushed. The DJ played the wrong garter song, we asked to cut our first dance song at 3 minutes but it was even cut shorter which was a little awkward. There were no knifes to cut the cake when it was time and half of the guests didn’t even know we were cutting our cake. Our guests were a little confused as far as seating and getting food goes and I had to prompt the staff that my parents weren’t being served right away when guests already had food before them. Overall it just felt unorganized. I understand they were taking over weddings planned in a different way by the previous owners so I could see how that is stressful, but it just wasn’t what we expected.Nevertheless, the bar flowed throughout the night and people still had a great time. We probably were the only ones who noticed the problems which is fine. I think over time this venue will improve.

My niece got married under the new owners. The bridal attendant was awesome especially since she has to take care of both the bride & groom and the bride table. My mom's glass was no less than half empty when she was there to top it off. The servers were always there picking up dirty dishes. The only negative is I found the wedding coordinator rushed my niece at times. Everyone enjoyed themselves. A lot of guests didn't know about a sign in table due to the location of it. Guests who left early left without a favor due to them being put out at the very end of the wedding.

Fran and Amie were the best people to work with for our wedding reception!! They are quick to respond and truly want to make it the best night for you. The food is incredible and we loved the small details they put into the reception (custom drink for the couple, customized napkins, etc). They eased any worry I had during the planning process and I felt so comfortable with them. Our attendant during the wedding was super sweet and extremely helpful with bringing us drinks and leading us through the night. The DJ was also amazing by playing from our list of songs but by also gauging the crowd to see what to play next. Lastly, our guests continue to tell us that it was the funnest wedding they had ever been to. HIGHLY recommend having your wedding reception at The Rose Garden. They will definitely make it the best night of your life!

Everyone at The Rose Garden was so amazing! From the very beginning to the very last step we took out of the building and into our limo to leave our reception, everything was perfect! They truly make you feel like family, and that’s what made the biggest impact on my husband and me— and didn’t feel like this huge business transaction, but rather it felt like we were all working together as a team! And they are totally great at working with you, even when the requests are last minute as a few of mine were. And they were also of utmost support of me upon the death of my Dad a few months before my wedding. They were so willing to work with me through that time, and I’m so overjoyed to have gotten to know the Tusa Family! The food was great, the event space was great! My husband and I loved the little private nook where we got to step away for a few minutes to take some bites of food and sips of our drinks while the party was happening! Totally recommend The Rose Garden for anyone’s future events!

From the moment we walked in to the Rose Garden to the minute we left after our wedding, we felt like we were a part of their family. Fran and Amie were so wonderful throughout the planning process. You can tell that they love what they do. Amie sent us monthly updates to keep us on track with deadlines, making sure we had our other vendors and ancillaries ready in time. She was always available for whatever we needed, even the smallest questions. I even made a last minute request (literally the day of) and they were able to accommodate it. The venue is so beautiful, I didn't even need to bring in many of my own decorations, just a few for the tables. We both loved the light play on the walls and tables. The food was amazing, perfectly New Orleans. Our guests are still talking about how great it was. Plus it was so affordable for what was included (pretty much everything!). We even got our own attendant who was so attentive and we loved her. We can't thank you guys enough for making our day so easy, seamless, and beautiful!

In my opinion you cannot find a better venue for ANY event, especially a wedding! Fran, Vic, and Amie are fabulous! Their staff, the venue, and their attention to detail (even anticipating your EVERY need) is TREMENDOUS! I can't say enough great things about The Rose Garden. If you want everything to go smoothly, to be first class, and to have a venue that your guests talk about for a long, long time then The Rose Garden is the place to book. This family and the staff bend over backwards to help with anything they can from start to finish. It's is seamless on your end and takes SO much stress off of the person organizing the event for the family. Ten PLUS stars for The Rose Garden!

Amie and Fran were extremely accommodating from the start to the end of the process. We planned our wedding entirely through email (didn’t see the venue in person until two days before the wedding) and the process couldn’t have been easier. Amie answered all of my questions quickly and compassionately and kept me up to date on the to-dos along the way. I can’t imagine planning a wedding 2000 miles away without the Rose Garden team! My guests were blown away by the hospitality, the decor, and most emphatically the FOOD!! If you want a true NOLA wedding without any of the headache or worry, this is your place. You won’t find anywhere better. And the price?! I’m still in disbelief. It was everything I dreamt of and more.

The Rose Garden was by far the best venue from the moment we went and looked at it until after our honeymoon. During the entire process they were very patient with us with answering any questions that we had. If I were to get in my “crazy bride panic mode” in the middle of the night and email Fran or Aimee, they replied back so fast. Every question was always answered clearly, there was always a solution to anything that I wanted corrected (for an example: my sister in law has food allergies. So we wanted to change one of the dishes to work around her allergy) The Rose Garden also sends you letters every few months to help you understand clearly what you should be doing the next few months to get prepared for your wedding. When it comes time for your wedding they get in touch with the vendors for you. It is one less thing for you to worry about. On your wedding day your parents will have an attendant and so will you. Our parents said that they were so well taken care of. I can say the same for us. They made sure we stopped and ate. Everytime we put our cups down for even a second they filled them. The dj spoke to us a few weeks prior to go over the music and a week before. The music was perfect. Everything went smoothly just like the way it should have. They really understand and know what they are doing. All of our guests are still messaging us telling us how beautiful the wedding was, and how much fun they had, and how great the food was. I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better wedding. It’s something I’ll never forget. I wouldn’t change anything. It was absolutely perfect.

When I say that Rose Garden is amazing, it’s definately an understatement. Fran and her family are fantastic! Not only did they make sure that we were on schedule with things going on with them, they also periodically checked in with us to make sure we had everything else ready, our bouquets, the cake, making sure we order the dress in time and other small things. It was basically having a wedding planner without actually paying for one. Rose Garden definitely takes care of their clients and makes sure that they have the best experience possible. Fran made sure that I always had a drink in my hand, that I never went hungry, and made sure that everything went smoothly. And let’s not forget the amazing food!!! You can definitely cannot go wrong when choosing this place. I’ll be praising Rose Garden for years to come for creating such a great and unforgettable experience for me and my husband. Thanks guys!!!

We recently had both our wedding ceremony and reception at the Rose Garden and it was everything we could have dreamed of and more! Fran and Amie, along with the rest of their staff were absolutely amazing! From day one they helped us plan each detail of our wedding and made us feel like a part of their family. We added the photo booth to our wedding package and it did not disappoint! Everyone had a ball in the photo booth and they even organized the photos into an album, which we used in place of the traditional guest book. The staff at the Rose Garden made our wedding absolutely perfect and we couldn’t have asked for a better place to begin our lives together!

When we started our venue search we went to a few different places but when we walked into the Rose Garden we were greeted with a hug. Fran was nothing but sweet. She and Amie made this whole process seamless from beginning to end. I was so nervous when I got up the morning of our wedding I was super anxious but when I walked in and saw Fran all of my anxiety went right out the window. They made our wedding day AMAZING. I would definitely recommend this venue to anyone looking at planning a wedding and wanting to know that you're going to be in good hands.The food was delicious. The decorations were beautiful. The staff was amazing.

My wedding was a success at The Rose Garden, but I am only giving it 3 stars becuase there were a few things with the venue i wasn't happy with. We paid for a 100 guest wedding becuase i had invited about 75 guest and i think about 50 people showed up being said that, they would not even allow the parents of myself and husband bring a plate of food home. They said it was against some code to have guest leave with food, but they made my husband and I a plate to go so that was just a little confusing. Also, my husband and i arent very big drinkers and all we wanted was to toast one shot of liquar to celebrate and it was a big ordeal. They had to get the owner and we waited and waited, she came and spoke with us and told us that wasnt allowed and then i guess she changed her mind becuase we were brought our shots some time later.Overall my experience was just okay.

We absolutely love Amie! She helped us every step of the way. I’m sure other brides-to-be (and grooms-to-be) can relate that planning a wedding is a very stressful task. She made me feel better by waking me through every detail possible, keeping me on task and stepping in whenever I needed her. Food was awesome! Atmosphere was beautiful. If we could get married again, it would be at the Rose Garden! They made our wedding a truly special night to remember.

No need to look any further. The Rose Garden has it all! From start to finish, Fran, Amie and their team took care of our needs, down to the last detail. The reaction from our guests was most important to us. Everyone had nothing but wonderful remarks. Guests were greeted at the door with appetizers and drinks. The food was delicious (thanks Chef Tusa)! And it kept on coming! The uplights provided by the venue perfectly highlighted my very colorful peacock theme. Everything that I needed and wanted for my wedding reception was at the Rose Garden. Thank you for making my day perfect!

A year before our wedding date we chose the Rose Garden as our venue for reception and ceremony.I did not feel wedding stress at all I was always aware of deadlines thanks to Fran and Amie. They would send emails to help keep me on track and they always answered my emails so promptly I never felt lost or stressed.The food is amazing, I did not do any extra decorations because honestly the wedding venue is already beautifully decorated.I had a disastrous wedding day prior to the ceremony: my brides maids bouquets ruined in the fridge over 4 hours and then my soon to be mother and father in law were in a car accident right before the wedding. I was a mess but Fran helped ease everything. She opened the bar to our guests and opened the photobooth to my bridesmaids and I. She helped arrange an Uber to help get his mother to the venue. After that the wedding was so smooth and perfect! We had so much fun and o couldn’t have asked more of Fran and her crew. Everything was perfect and if had to choose this place again I would do it again. You will not be disappointed! Love this place!

We had such a great experience with this venue. Fran and Amie treated us like family. They were very accommodating and attentive to our needs. They also took great care of guests! The venue is beautiful and all inclusive which was a plus! The food was DELICIOUS! And there was so much of it. Amie is an excellent communicator and she is great at responding quickly. I swear she never sleeps lol! We don’t live in New Orleans so great communication was an important factor when picking a venue. Fran was so sweet! If you asked for anything, she would always go out of her was to ensure you got in. I would highly recommend ladies to any new brides that looking for a beautiful, all inclusive venue that won’t break the bank! Such an amazing experience for us and our guests❤️

Our wedding was just like a dream...everything ran so smoothly and I had no worries because I knew we were in great hands! Fran and the staff at The Rose Garden were amazing! They did a great job of ensuring that our wedding day was special. Janel and I are still receiving messages from family and friends saying how much fun they had. The food was amazing (all of our family mentioned how much they loved it, huge thanks to the chef), and the venue looked great all around! Due to some unforeseen circumstances our ceremony was delayed (but this was completely out of anyone's control), however, Fran and the staff did an amazing job at making quick adjustments and making sure that all of our guests were comfortable and enjoying themselves. Once the ceremony and reception began, the saying \"Laissez Les Bon Temps Rouler\" held true! We were able to perform a traditional Samoan wedding dance, as well as a second line to end the night. A huge thank you to ALL staff that were involved in making such wonderful memories for my family. I will definitely recommend The Rose Garden to anyone choosing New Orleans for their wedding day.

I looked for a venue for about 6 months and it seemed like nothing was the right fit. I came across The Rose Garden and sent an email. Fran called me the same day not long after and I pretty much knew after talking to her on the phone this would be our venue. She was so sweet, loving, and caring. I was not treated like another number but like family. Then I got to talk with her daughter Amie and it was the same feeling. They helped me through the whole process. I was not stressed, they answered all my questions, provided a night to taste the wonderful food, and were a source of guidance and support. When our day finally came my husband and I along with all of our friends and family were treated like family. We just enjoyed the day and they took care of everything. The food was amazing the atmosphere was perfect, and the service was just wonderful. I can't begin to thank them for making our wedding day everything we hoped and dreamed for. We love youguys. Thanks for everything!!

What more can we say than Perfect! We chose to have our 50 anniversary at the Rose Garden and our night was magical!Mrs. Fran ,Amie, Mr. Vic, and total staff were outstanding! Although we had around 160 guest, everyone felt the lllunbelievable amazing attention by all the staff. The food, Venue,and young Vic with his pasta station was awesome! The photo booth proved. to be a great hit ! I am still getting calls from our guest raving about their experience celebrating with us on March M 2018. Four stars are not enough and wish we could give more! Thanks for this beautiful family the Tusa’s for making our anniversary an unbelievable success!

We got married on November 24, 2017 (Black Friday). The Rose Garden made our wedding such a breeze especially since it was the day after Thanksgiving. They were there every month making sure we were on schedule and even the week of the wedding bending over backwards to make sure everything was perfect for the big day. They went beyond my expectations with everything from the food, music, decorations, and even taking photos and videos for us. My guest had nothing but wonderful things to say. I'm so glad we chose to have our wedding here. And at the end of it all, Amie and Fran have become like family to us. Thank y'all again for everything!

I could not have picked a more perfect venue. Aime & Fran are amazing at what they do. I felt so taken care of the whole year leading up to my wedding! All my wedding guests commented on the AMAZING FOOD and how beautiful it was. October 27 at the Rose Garden will forever be one of my best memories. I wish every bride would get married here, because it's just that great. I could go on and on, but seriously, I love The Rose Garden and their staff!!!! :)

Our October 20th ceremony and reception at the Rose Garden was PERFECT! We cannot say enough about this venue. From the moment Aaron and I walked in and met with Fran, we knew we had found an amazing family, let alone all-inclusive venue! It was exactly what we were looking for, and we ended up booking with them after looking at >10 venues to host our 200+ person wedding. Fran was so kind, patient, and genuine when we viewed the Rose Garden with her, and she let us know that this is a family run business and we would become part of the family! I cannot tell you how accurate that was! We worked with Fran and Amie through email, solidifying our plans and arrangements with them in February. They weren’t pushy or over the top, but so personable and approachable and you can tell that they genuinely care about their clients! Amie was amazing to work with as well. We had multiple questions (as one can imagine) and Amie and I would go back and forth with email or phone calls as many times as I needed to, or asked her to, without one time feeling that I was bothering her. There were reminder emails sent about timelines for planning, suggestions, help with vendor selection, and just about anything anyone would need to help the wedding planning journey go smoothly! I never feel that we missed a beat, and I felt that I had a personal wedding planner in both Fran and Amie - what a delight!! The rehearsal was very organized and Fran was there greeting and assisting to ensure that our big day would go off without a hitch. They were more than agreeable to all of my suggestions for lighting, arrangement of tables and seating, and very helpful with managing my divorced parents’ seating arrangements with compassion. The night of the wedding was so amazing that I can’t say enough. We were treated like royalty and as if it was their own daughter/son/brother/sister getting married. There wasn’t anything that went wrong, or caused us stress, and our attendant was amazing! We were catered to, along with our guests and everyone raved about the food, atmosphere, staff, and Fran!! Everyone really helped to create a magical moment for us from the very beginning. We would love to celebrate again with them - maybe anniversary party?!! Written words are not enough to describe this wonderful family and venue. There is NO other venue like it, and I mean that sincerely. The ROSE GARDEN FAMILY IS PHENOMENAL and we are so glad that we had them to share our special day!

Our daughter and son-in-law's wedding reception at the ROSE GARDEN was ABSOLUTELY beautiful!!! When we first met Amie and Fran, we knew that the Rose Garden was a very special place. They made us feel like family and that our daughter's wedding reception was the only one that mattered. We could call or email them and they would always respond in a timely manner. They were kind, caring and patient even when we had a million questions. Amie would send email reminders or call us to help keep us on target. It was like having our own wedding consultant. We would discuss our ideas for the reception and she would offer her suggestions and expertise , always keeping our best interest at heart. It was like they were planning a reception for a member of their own family. They showed genuine concern in making sure we were happy with the plans for the reception. Amie and her family went above and beyond what you would expect from a reception venue!! The food and drinks were awesome and plentiful!! The Grand ballroom was beautifully decorated and there was ample seating. The serving staff was professional and attentive. Our guests commented on how delicious the food was and that there was so much variety . There is also an in-house photo booth available if you choose( that was convenient for us as we didn't have to spend time finding one . It was already there)Special thanks to Amie, Fran and the rest of the Tusa family and staff for making our daughter and son-in law's wedding reception PERFECT!!!I highly recommend the ROSE GARDEN for your reception !!! You won't be disappointed!

Let’s start from the beginning 1 year ago when my mom and I first visited this venue for a possible location to have my October 2017 wedding.. when we arrived we were first greeted with a warm welcome and a hug from Ms Amie that moment alone I looked at my mom and I said I like where this is going.. The welcome was genuine and kind I felt like I was meeting distant relatives at a family reunion lol Ms Amie made me feel like their venue wasn’t all about money because let’s be honest weddings are definitely expensive immediately I felt like this place will make me feel special and what ever I went through in wedding planning they’ll be there with me, after giving us a full tour of everything even the restrooms yes restrooms often visiting venues you over look that little part and I didn’t realize that until she gave me that tour.. I was sold I went home told my fiancé and we went back to make the final decision.. This time Ms Amie had a boot on her leg in pain and her voice was nearly gone she still gave my fiancé a a warm welcome and a detailed tour just like the first time.. fast forward to emails I started emailing in questions I had and that’s when I was introduced to Ms Fran even reading her emails you can hear the warmth in her voice even though I had never met her I still felt comfortable and at home! We booked the venue and we instantly became family every couple months you’ll get email reminders to stay on track of your wedding planning Ms Fran and Ms Amie helped us out in so many ways I don’t know how to repay them! Fast forward to my wedding weekend here in New Orleans a Hurricane was suppose to hit on my wedding day!! Oct 8 2017 after watching several news coverage on that Thursday they called me and offered me different options just so I can still enjoy my special day, I decided to keep it on that day and by the grace of God my daywas beautiful nothing happen and it was a complete turn around from what was predicted! The personal attendants were amazing and helpful THE FOOD was amazing and it was ssooooo much! Everyone was helpful The chef himself the big guy The poppa bear came in and checked on us and made sure our day was going smoothly and the food kept coming he even balanced out our menu because he wanted the guest to have the best of both I couldn’t thank this team if I had a million Tongues because even that won’t be enough I truly appreciate them and would highly recommend anyone to them from the bottom of my heart I thank the rose garden for everything David & Naki Taylor 10/08/17

The food was delicious!!! The drinks were delicious!! The staff were attentive!! Amie and Fran were absolutely amazing from our first meeting to the night of the reception!! The Rose Garden is such a special place to get married. Fran made us free like family right from the beginning. I felt like she really would take care of us and have or best interest in mind throughout the whole process. I also found it to be affordable in comparison to similar venues. Throughout the planning process I enjoyed collaborating with Amie on everything. Her reminder emails were very helpful and kept me on track. She was always available to answer my questions by phone or email and she was quick to respond even when I wasn’t. Both Amie and Fran gave good advice based on their experience of helping many brides. They told me straight up when something wasn’t a good idea, but were still willing to accommodate my every request if it was possible. I initially worried about decor, but realized that there really wasn't much I needed to add. With the customizable uplighting the room looked great and went well with my colors. My decorating needs ended up being very minimal.The food was amazing! The pre-event dinner put my mind at ease and let me know in advance that my guest would love the food. And they did! There was something for everyone and I especially appreciated the effort to accommodate my dad who has a restricted diet. The only issue occurred when some people not familiar with the New Orleans style reception were unaware that they had to get up and help themselves. The night went by very quickly and we were grateful to have the private dining area for my husband and I to slow down and enjoy the meal together. Everything happened just about as planned and I never felt like we were being rushed out at the end of the night. If there were any problems behind the scenes we sure didn’t know about it. And when things did come up, like forgetting both garters, Fran saved the day with an extra one she had on hand. Overall it turned out to be a gorgeous wedding. Weeks afterward I am still getting comments from my guest on what a beautiful wedding it was or how much fun they had. I can’t thank the staff at the Rose Garden enough for the personalized service in helping me put it all together. From the experienced knowledge and patience to providing unexpected, extra special touches that really made a difference (and saved me money). I highly recommend The Rose Garden for your ceremony and reception. You won’t be disappointed!

I have received so many compliments on your venue, your food, your kindness and attention to detail.. Many said it was the best wedding they’ve ever been to. The bride, groom, parents, siblings and guests were all beyond words. Yesterday Wayne and I ate the rest of the food that the kids didn’t eat and believe me they are so picky that we got lucky! LOL I still cannot get over the beauty of it all, the love they have for each other is amazing and I’m ready for the next chapter. Many have inquired and I have highly recommended this venue to them. The Rose Garden truly overdelivered on our wedding reception. My husband and I did not have to worry about a single detail and were able to enjoy our reception to the fullest with our guests. The food was amazing and prepared to our tatse! So many of our guests raved about the food and the amazing selection. We planned for 200 guests, and the reception space very comfortably held us all and provided seating at tables for most of our guests. We had the time of our lives and felt as though the Rose Garden appreciated having us there.

Absolutely phenomenal! I don't even know how to begin to put in words how happy we are that we chose the Rose Garden as our reception venue. Our wedding reception was the evening of December 10th, and we couldn't have been more satisfied with our experience. This family owned and operated business is truly an asset to the Greater New Orleans area. Mrs. Fran and Amie were with us every step of the way. We always felt well informed and that we could ask questions at any time. To say that they were delightful to work with is an understatement. The food is delicious, the venue is beautiful, and the serving staff was friendly and professional. The prices are very reasonable as well. The packages include DJ services, and Mr. Keith did an excellent job providing the music for our reception. We had many guests traveling from all parts of the country, and we received so many compliments from everyone on their Rose Garden experience. I would absolutely recommend the Rose Garden to anyone needing a reception venue! Thank you to the Tusa family for making our wedding day so special!

Where to begin! When I walked into the room I looked at my future wife and we both knew this was the place we had always dreamed of for our wedding reception. The staff didn't feel like staff, they felt like family and still do to this day. They made every request we had happen and took care of everything we asked. They went above and beyond to provide us with everything we needed and wanted. The food one word AMAZING they set up a area away from guest so we could eat and boy did we eat because it was amazing. The dj kept things rocking all night and had guest dancing all night. There are so many things I'm forgetting but the bottom line is if you are looking for a place that takes care of everything and makes you wedding effortless then this is the place for you. We always said if they pulled off everything they said they would the money would be well spent. They went above that and exceeded all expectations and made our day so special. People keep telling us that it was the best wedding they have been to. So if you looking for a great place great price and great family call fran and book the Rose Garden

I wanted to write a review on my experience with The Rose Garden which can seem odd because my wedding isn't until February. Since the day I first met Fran she has every bit of amazing and sweet. Her and Amie ALWAYS are there for any question and concerns I have. They send out reminders and additional information when needed. If I had to refer a couple to a Venue it would definitely be here. This is the only option if you are having a wedding/reception! No worries for catering food, or decorating the reception hall, they do it all for you!! Amazing service! Amazing advice if you need any help!! I felt at home when talking with Amie and Fran! My wedding night was a dream come true thanks to the Rose Garden! All our guests kept talking about was how amazing the food was!!! The owners of the Rose Garden are amazing. Since the first day I went in to look at the venue, they have been hands on and there to answer every question. They sent monthly reminders of items I needed to get done for the wedding, which I loved! Aimee was especially helpful and full of knowledge and experience. This family and venue made my wedding perfect. I had no stress or freak outs because they handled everything so professionally and made the experience so perfect. My guests left full from the delicious food served continuously throughout the night and the bartenders were fun and fast to get the guests their drinks. Everyone left happy, especially myself and the groom. The photobooth pictures were very funny and I loved reading the comments left in the booklet we got to take home. Also, they gave us a dvd of the pictures which was fun to watch the next day. They were very easy to work with if you are a bride on a budget.The Rose Garden staff and owners were far better than any other place I looked at in the New Orleans area. ( I looked at over 6) If I could go back and do it all over again, I wouldn't change a thing!

I absolutely loved my wedding!! This venue exceeded my expectations!!! It wasn't about the money to them they were truly interested in making my day a night I wouldn't forget. It's ran by a loving family that treats you like family. From the time I put down my deposit until days after the wedding they were attentive. Always making sure we were ok down to making sure we took care of things like our marriage license. The day of we had an attendant that never left of side during the reception. It blew me away after I said my vows & walked out in the foyer to see the owner sitting there holding my grandson. She walked him out & sat with him so that his noises calling for me wouldn't interrupt the ceremony. That warmed my heart. I never been to a venue that takes that much pride into making sure your day is perfect!!! The food was awesome!!! I have guest still telling me how great it was. Every detail was taking care of for me. I dropped all my decor off & they did an excellent job in creating beautiful & elegant tables. Wow is all I can say because when I look at my pictures I smile all over again!! I would definitely recommend them to anyone I know that's getting married. Job well done!!!

Our wedding was there September 17, 2016. We had toured several venues before we met with this one, but from the beginning I knew they were THE ONE! They were above and beyond helpful from the beginning of wedding plans, and Fran and Amie assisted me with things that I didn't even realize I needed. On the wedding night, the attendant who helped me was AMAZING. Words cannot describe how awesome she was to me, and all of my guests even noticed her. I have to admit that I was a mess with staying on schedule and in top of \"the little things,\" but she put me at ease a made sure I had everything I needed. I wish I had her with me the entire day! LOL. Since the wedding, I've had multiple comments from my guests about how the food was so delicious and the amount was neverending. They even joked about gaining 10 pounds just from the amount of food that was provided at the wedding. Ha! My husband and I absolutely LOVED this venue and each of its staff members! First and foremost, the value was amazing. They have package options to for every budget. The package we selected included all of the food, premium open bar, photobooth, DJ, wedding cake, and table linens and decor. We had 300 guests, and people keep telling us how excellent the food was and how they couldn't believe that it just kept coming all night! The staff are professional and personable. They are quick to respond to any questions and make you feel like yours is the only wedding they have booked. By the time our big day arrived, we felt like they were family. I highly recommend this reception venue!

My wedding was May 14, 2016 I truly cannot express the words to describe how wonderful The Rose Garden is, from the owner to the chef, to the servers and to the dj. This place is awesome! I loved and enjoyed every bit of my reception from beginning to end. It was the best experience ever. My guest and our parents were so pleased with everything they can't stop talking about it. How attentive the staff was, they had so much food and the signature drink was right on. They had three weddings in my family within the same year and just a few months apart and I hate to brag but because of The Rose Garden my family said my wedding venue topped everyone else. Fran and Amy are just the best hostess ever. They made my day very special. My husband and I felt like family and that was important to me. They didn't treat us like it was just business. They catered to my and my husband every need. Also anything my guest needed they were happy to accommodate them. In the beginning my husband and I looked at several venues I mean just about all of them surrounding the New Orleans area including the westbank and I must say out of all of them The Rose Garden Fran and Amy were the only owners that greeted me and my husband with a hug. They made us feel like family, like we were the only bride and groom in the world. They were the only one that offered little unique touches that I'm not going to mention, I don't want to give it away. My husband said he felt exclusive. All other venues basically offered the same thing but this venue give you that something extra. I truly believe hands done this venue should receive an award, Shoot my family said they appreciated them so much we all wanted to give them an award or gift ourselves. In short BEST VENUE EVER!!!!!!!!

I'm not sure I can find words strong enough to express our satisfaction with The Rose Garden. They have the best staff ever! Our wedding was Friday, April 15, 2016, and it was better than I could have ever imagined. It was truly my dream wedding. Everything was perfect! The Rose Garden was the third venue we visited and within 10 minutes, we knew we wanted our wedding there. Mrs. Fran & Amie are incredible. Any time I had a question or concern, I just shot an email over and within a few hours (if that) I had a response. The food was delicious. Mr. Vic & Vic, Jr. are amazing chefs. I wish I had half of their talent! Our attendant, Kathy, was amazing. She was on top of her game! I don't think we ever had an empty cup in our hands. Our parents' attendant, Sharlene, was equally as amazing. She took excellent care of our parents! Our DJ, Joey, was awesome. He kept up a great playlist to keep everyone moving! Although we didn't get to visit them, I heard the bartenders were pretty awesome, too. To say the least, I'd highly recommend The Rose Garden for any group function! You'll be well taken care of. We couldn't be more grateful for all of their hard work!

My husband Michael and I had a FANTASTIC experience at the Rose Garden on 3/19/16. We chose the venue for our wedding ceremony and our reception! Aimee made the planning seem so easy and always kept you up to date to when you need to have everything into her. I loved doing the \"mock\" set up for the ceremony and the reception. It really lets you see everything put together before your big day. Our guests are still raving about the food and drinks! Although me and my husband were a little to busy to really eat, we were glad we had to option to do a tasting prior to the wedding. The day just went by too fast we wish we could have added another hour to our reception! If there were any issues at the wedding, I didn't know about it. The day seemed to go seamlessly and our bridal attendant was amazing! I'm so glad we chose the Rose Garden. Fran and Aimee are awesome. You won't regret your decision! It will be an awesome day for sure! Fran and Aimee will take care of you! No worries!
