The vintage, white wedding Chapel sits along the St. Joseph River amidst lush forest, quaint farm homes, and rolling fields. In addition, The Morris Estate offers multiple venues throughout the seasons to provide an all-inclusive wedding experience. Host your family and friends for the entire weekend with a rehearsal dinner, ceremony and reception all onsite while enjoying additional time with your bridal party in our new luxurious overnight accommodations.

The Morris Estate played an integral role in turning my wedding dreams into a breathtaking reality! Adara was so helpful and comforting throughout the entire process! Since my husband and I reside on the opposite side of the state – Adara orchestrated seamless virtual meetings going over every detail and and helping with any questions we had! She connected us with so many amazing vendors and truly made wedding planning feel like an ease! We also cannot stop raving about Nate, he mastermind behind the catering and culinary experiences. Nate's dedication to his craft is palpable and shines through in every dish he creates. The Filet, in particular, garnered rave reviews from countless guests, many of whom declared it the best they've ever had! What's truly noteworthy is Nate's conscientious attention to guests with dietary restrictions. He personally attended to each individual, ensuring their dietary needs were not just met, but exceeded – a gesture that resonated deeply and put them at ease.Love, Love, LOVE this place and cannot wait to come back and celebrate anniversaries here! The Morris Estate looked beautiful from photos, but when we went to tour the property we were sold. Such a beautiful place! The hospitality of the people we got to work closely with while planning our wedding (shoutout to Adara and Nate) was more than we could have asked for or expected. The day went smoothly and was all we dreamed of, but the organization and reliability of the venue and staff are what made the planning process so smooth for us. Would definitely recommend the Morris Estate to anyone looking for a more traditional or chapel style venue.

Our big day at The Morris Estate could not have been any better. Everything was absolutely awesome. The staff was very friendly and Adara, our planner, was amazing. We are getting so many compliments on everything, especially the food. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone!!The bed and breakfasts on site were great as well. Us along with our bridal party and parents stayed at each of these houses. Everyone was very comfortable and the staff working there was great.

Adara was our wedding coordinator and she was so amazing! She helped us every step of the way and was there on our wedding day to make sure everything was perfect! I am so amazed at how smoothly the whole day ran and I would recommend The Morris Estate to any couple!!!!

We got married at The Morris Estates May 2023 and it was everything we had hoped for and more! The venue is beautiful and the whole process was made easy for us. A lot of things were included with the package so everything was in one place. We worked with Cara and she was so helpful and kind throughout the whole year and day of wedding!

The Morris Estate was amazing, everyone was so very helpful! Cara went above and beyond for me and my wife. She was patient and willing to work with us on everything we came up with. They are amazing and understanding with payments as well as making time to ensure you have everything you need. The communication between us was easy and I couldn't have asked for a better venue.The location is beautiful and we were lucky enough to have a perfect weather day. Everything went so well and it is definitely thanks to Cara and her team there!!

If I could give this venue something higher than a 5 star I absolutely would. This was the very first venue we looked at and it definitely stuck with us after looking at multiple places. The Morris Estate is just amazing and offers everything that you would want to have a care free wedding day. Inside the chapel are bridal lounges where the wedding party can get ready. It's very nice that they provide lunch for the bridal party because weddings are long days and it was nice not having to worry about how we were going to survive until dinner. Once everyone is ready and it's time for the ceremony, you head directly upstairs and when that's finished, you head outside for the reception in their very large event tent. The grounds are simply beautiful! To have the convenience of everything being in one location meant that we were able to knock most of our pictures out and actually mingle and enjoy the cocktail hour with our guests. Don't get me started on the food. The catering through the Morris Estate is delicious. Such a wide variety of food that there's no wrong option no matter what you choose for your big day. The staff were amazing and Nate, who is in charge of the catering, is equally amazing and was out there serving meals and making sure everything went smoothly. Everyone loved the food! The Morris Estate offers so many services when you book with them, one of them being set up with a wedding coordinator. We had Cara who was, can you guess it? AMAZING! We met with her several times and it's because of her that the day ran so smoothly. She made sure that I didn't have to worry about a thing on our wedding day. She helped bring the vision of what I had for our wedding to life and everything was beautiful. The Morris Estate also offers a large inventory of items for decorations. Some of the larger items have a set up fee, but the rest are all free at your disposable. That was the nice thing about having that as an option was that I didn't have to worry about set/up or tear down of items or worrying about delegating those tasks to someone. Their staff handled it all. Other than a few items that I dropped off the day of, those few things were the only thing I had to grab at the end of the evening. If I had any \"bad\" things to say, it would just be that it books up so quickly. There was a bunch of availability when we went to view the venue, but a few weeks after when we went to confirm a date, they were all gone and we pushed our initial date back by about 2 months. But honestly, we ended up having the most perfect day weather wise and to have our wedding at the Morris Estate was worth it. I can not recommend this venue enough!

They answered all questions promptly and truly made the wedding day seamless with no stress, allowing us to be present with our loved ones instead of setting up. On top of the venue itself being stunning, the food was INCREDIBLE. We had a lot of our loved ones tell us the food was the best wedding food they have ever had, and the people with serious food allergies felt comfortable eating there due to the caterer doing a phenomenal job at accommodating those allergies. Thank you to everyone who made our day so special. I would 100% recommend the Morris Estate to anyone and everyone!

Wow! This venue! The chapel was a lovely air conditioned space, and then tent was airy and comfortable. Morris Estates has tons of decorating items--some are for rent and some are free when you book. We took advantage of many! The big stand out though, is the service. The wedding coordinators were so helpful! We literally needed to do nothing except enjoy our day! The food was so good! We received so many compliments on how yummy it was. Communication throughout the process was stellar. Book this venue! You'll be so glad you did.

This venue was the only venue we visited, and we absolutely loved it! Everything is so simple, elegant, and classy. From the chapel, to the event tent, to the Bed and Breakfast. I highly recommend! We used this venue for our rehearsal dinner, ceremony, reception, AND as accommodations for the wedding party throughout the weekend (their homemade breakfast is AMAZING). Nate and his team made catering decisions so efficient and they easily accomodate for any dietary needs. The tasting was one of our favorite parts of the entire wedding planning process - the food was absolutely incredible. We couldn’t have asked for anything more. Chef and Nate pay attention to the details, things I would never have thought of, but things that really elevate the look and feel of the day. I never worried for a second that things wouldn’t go as planned. Cara helped with wedding planning from start to finish. She was responsive, efficient, and ensured everything ran smoothly the day of the wedding. Cara conducted our rehearsal and was there to answer any and all of my questions. She coordinated with all of my vendors, making sure everyone knew where to go and what time to be there. The planning pod software that is used for seating arrangements made everything so easy and worry - free the day of the wedding! The staff at the morris took care of shuttling guests to / from the parking lot, setting up, and tearing down, so even clean up was made super efficient and worry free. THANK YOU morris estate, we are so grateful to have been able to work with you for such a special weekend.

I can't say enough positive about the elegant atmosphere, facilities, and staff at the Morris. Our son's wedding this past weekend was everything we hoped it would be. In addition to the ceremony and reception, we also held the rehearsal dinner at the Morris' River House. The food was absolutely amazing. Perhaps the best part was that Cara (coordinator) and Nate (caterer) super pleasant to work with and had all of the details covered. We were able to relax, enjoy our guests, and take in the events of the day(s). Highly recommend!!!

Our wedding was May 15th, 2021 and I couldn't imagine having my wedding anywhere else. The chapel, the River House and the grounds are BEAUTIFUL!! The staff at the Morris Estate were AMAZING, super friendly and very helpful!!! I worked closest with Cara while planning the wedding and during our wedding weekend. Cara helped very step of the way down the smallest details. Our family and us stayed at the Morris Estate for the weekend and the River House is stunning and the food was amazing!!! Our wedding was perfect, the weekend was perfect. We can't wait to go back a stay for our anniversary.

Our wedding was May 15th, 2021 and I couldn't imagine having my wedding anywhere else. The chapel, the River House and the grounds are BEAUTIFUL!! The staff at the Morris Estate were AMAZING, super friendly and very helpful!!! I worked closest with Cara while planning the wedding and during our wedding weekend. Cara helped very step of the way down the smallest details. Our family and us stayed at the Morris Estate for the weekend and the River House is stunning and the food was amazing!!! Our wedding was perfect, the weekend was perfect. We can't wait to go back a stay for our anniversary.

First and foremost- we had an absolutely beautiful wedding and we owe so much to The Morris Estate. Everything to make an event go from 'good' to 'great' was paid attention to by their staff and taken care of without evening asking.Originally toured the Venue in 2019 for a 2020 wedding- fell in love with the location for ceremony and reception space immediately. It's beautiful and well maintained- anyone with eyes can see that. A family run business that has hospitable staff and answer all the questions you didn't even know you needed to ask. They know what they're doing!I think the 'true' review is how this company responded to COVID delays- I find under stressful situations is the best time to gauge people/companies from their response. I would give 15/10 on my interactions with all those at The Morris Estate. They were professional, extremely understanding and always brought solutions to the table with any 'bad' news. We cancelled our date early in 2020 and rescheduled for the following Spring. Our coordinator, Adara helped me navigate through 'what happens now'. She never made me feel like I was bugging her when I knew she was juggling 100x things out of her control with all of her couples. I can't thank them enough- there isn't anything we'd change from our Wedding! Thank you, thank you!

The Morris Estate felt special and was exactly what we wanted for an intimate gathering. We were blown away by the staff at all locations - from the pre-planning to the rehearsal to the day of, the Morris Estate staff on site at the Chapel and the Supper Club took care of everything we could have asked for - and I'm sure took care of things we didn't even know to ask. Looking back, I would not hesitate to do it all over again at the Morris Estate and would highly recommend this venue to others considering the southwest Michigan area.

I would give Morris Estate higher than 5 stars if I could. They made our wedding day incredibly special, smooth, and easy. From the get-go, Adara helped us plan a day that would reflect us as a couple. She helped us work with vendors and plan out the full weekend at the estate. We were married in the chapel, had our reception at the Supper Club, and had our rehearsal dinner/stayed at the River House with our families and bridal party. Being able to work with Adara for all of those pieces made planning extremely easy. Our guests raved about how seamless the wedding itself was- everything was on time, and guests felt welcomed and relaxed. The location itself is absolutely beautiful and made for breathtaking pictures. The chapel is so simple and elegant. The house and landscape around it offered incredible backdrops. I couldn't recommend Morris Estate more highly!

We just had the most perfect wedding weekend with the Morris Estate! For all events, the staff's attention to detail, care, and preparedness for any scenario was evident.The Rehearsal dinner at the Pavillion was so much fun with BBQ, lawn games, and smores around the campfire. It felt like a family reunion and was relaxed and easy. We had our ceremony at the Chapel, which is picture perfect inside and out. My bridesmaids and I enjoyed the amenities of the bridal ready room, and I know the groomsmen had a blast playing video games in their room. The ceremony went off without a hitch, and the guests loved the quaint space. Our reception was at the supper club, because we wanted a climate controlled environment for our guests's comfort. When we arrived, all the decor was in place according to our appointments. Not one detail had been missed!We felt like their only clients each and every time we communicated with them leading up to the wedding, which (of course) we were not. My daughter got married at The Morris Estate this fall. If you want a wonderful wedding, book this venue. The Chapel is gorgeous in its simplicity and can be decorated to each bride’s taste. The staff was very attentive and saw to our every need, including lunch. The grounds were just as beautiful with fall mums and the leaves on the trees starting to turn. A perfect setting for outdoor pictures. The reception at The Supper Club was absolutely wonderful. The table settings were very elegant, the dance floor was just the right size, the food was very good and served promptly. We had so much fun!! My family is still talking about it 2 weeks later. Thank you to Amber and her staff, they are a class act. I can honestly say my daughter had the perfect wedding.

My daughter got married at The Morris Estate this fall. If you want a wonderful wedding, book this venue. The Chapel is gorgeous in its simplicity and can be decorated to each bride’s taste. The staff was very attentive and saw to our every need, including lunch. The grounds were just as beautiful with fall mums and the leaves on the trees starting to turn. A perfect setting for outdoor pictures. The reception at The Supper Club was absolutely wonderful. The table settings were very elegant, the dance floor was just the right size, the food was very good and served promptly. We had so much fun!! My family is still talking about it 2 weeks later. Thank you to Amber and her staff, they are a class act. I can honestly say my daughter had the perfect wedding.

If you're looking for the PERFECT place to get married, this is it!! My husband and I were just married here on September 10th, and let me tell you, it was gorgeous. We had just under 180 including the bridal party and they fit comfortably in the quaint chapel. The chapel is set back in a wooded area, and is GORGEOUS for pictures. The inside....LET ME TELL YOU GIRLS....is all white with dark wooden floors. Use your imagination. I felt like an absolute princess. We ended up doing a tented reception on the property and everyone said they were just amazed at how pretty the location was.Not only was the location beautiful, the staff was beyond phenomenal. Amber is one of the owners of the property and they bent over backwards for us, from setting everything up, to helping us coordinate. On the day of, I was a nervous wreck, and they made sure that I was where I needed to be when I needed to be there. If anything went wrong that day, I was none the wiser. We were so beyond thrilled with the venue and the people at the Morris. If I could give the Morris Estate a rating better than a 5, I would! Seriously, check them out. I was wanting a barn wedding (you know, the rustic theme and all) and fell absolutely in love with the Morris. I still got to have my rustic theme too!

I had my ceremony at the Morris Chapel and reception at The Supper Club (also owned by the Morris Estate). It was absolutely beautiful! The chapel is a perfect place to get ready prior to the wedding with fully stocked rooms (including multiple mirrors, snacks, coffee bar, steamer, dressing rooms etc). This location also is great for pictures, with beautiful landscaping, winding roads lined with trees, and a few places located close by with scenic backgrounds. The chapel is also perfect left as it is, but it can also take on any type of decoration and color scheme for ceremony. \r\rThe Supper Club is very elegant and a great size for 130-150 guests. About a 10 minute drive from the chapel. Hotel located next door, very convenient for out of town guests. \r\r Since I had a package deal for ceremony/reception, I was able to have full access to their decoration packages, which was super helpful! They not only set everything up and fully decorated both locations, but contacted majority of the vendors, coordinated arrival times for flowers/food/cake, and even cleaned up and organized my belongings at the end of the night. I could not believe how smooth everything went and it truly was a great day.

We were married at The Chapel at The Morris Estate on October 24, 2015 and held our reception in a tent on the property. There is not enough space on this review for me to tell you how pleased we were with the entire experience! From the first time I stepped foot in the Chapel, I knew this was where we would be married. Amber, the owner, has thought of every detail and the Chapel is so well cared for and maintained. The Chapel is simply beautiful on its own, and there is so much that one can do to individualize the decor and their ceremony. We had several guests comment that they wished they could have another wedding and have their ceremony here! Absolutely stunning backdrop with the woods as well, our photos are beautiful. After our ceremony, guests walked next door to where our cocktail hour and tent venue was set up. This was super convenient and guests loved being able to start the party right after the ceremony. Everything was executed perfectly by Amber and her team, we felt so well taken care of. My husband and I enjoyed our wedding rather than worrying about details. The Morris Estate also has a wide inventory of decorative items available, and we made good use of that. When it came to planning, Amber and her team were so helpful with suggestions and ideas. We were not local to the area and were planning from a distance, and the flexibility and quick responses were so appreciated! The whole day was a dream come true - we got our perfect fall wedding!

The Morris Estate is simply the most elegant and beautiful venue for a wedding. My daughter was married in October and the Chapel stunning in the fall foliage. I had so many compliments about the Chapel and The Supper Club. Amber and her staff are most accommodating. They handled everything perfectly. As usual on the day of the wedding small little things come up. I would turn to go find one of the staff and they would be right behind me and already had the issue taken care of. They were like mind readers. I cannot think of much that they have not seen, encountered or could not handle. Talk about removing stress from a special day, this group is the best. Most fathers I know say, WOW glad this day is over, glad I don't have any more daughters to marry off. I CANNOT say enough good things about the Morris Estate. My fiancé and I visited on a whim and fell in love with the chapel as soon as we walked in the door. The space is absolutely stunning. Every inch of the chapel is so pristine and well kept. It is quaint and romantic while still large enough to accommodate a good amount of guests. We had our reception at their indoor venue, the Supper Club, which is also gorgeous. They offered so many ways to personalize the space, though we did so minimally because it is so pretty all on its own! Amber and her staff are simply wonderful. They were friendly, reliable, and accommodating throughout the entire planning process. They are so attentive to detail, and they really went the extra mile to make our day perfect. A quaint chapel tucked back in the trees that is also updated throughout with new flooring, a/c, and perfect bridal and groom suites. Amber is amazing, we had no doubt things were in good hands with Amber in charge. We also got an upgraded package with a parking attendant, snacks, someone to run the music, and choice from their decor. I would definitely recommend the chapel to anyone looking for a beautiful ceremony venue with great service!

When my mother-in-law first suggested Morris Chapel for our wedding venue, my husband joked about it being haunted, which made me a bit suspicious. My wariness was unfounded however. The Morris Chapel was renovated recently, and is beautiful in a simple, classic way. No foofy frills, no crazy cathedral-y pomp, just a cute little chapel in a relatively private neighborhood.\r\rWe paid extra so we could have an assistant for the day, and the package came with trays of snacking food (sandwiches or veggie/cheese platters), a personalized stamp with our names and wedding date on it, and full access to their storehouse of decorative items.\r\rAmber, the lady who runs the place, met with us a few times to iron out the details for the big day. She helped us figure out how we wanted to decorate the venue, and made sure that our ceremony went off without a hitch. She was also sweet and very professional. We had to mail in a check for our final payment, and she actually sent us back a receipt... not everyone does that, so I appreciated it.\r\rWould definitely recommend!

What really sold it- the Bridal and Groom suites in the basement. Everything you need to get ready is there. My girls and I arrived at the Chapel the morning of, had my hair and makeup lady come to us and we got to leisurely get ready and hangout all morning long. I couldn't have been happier. All of the decorations I used were property of the Chapel as well so I didn't have to purchase a lot of extra stuff. Amber, the owner couldn't be more on her game. She knows exactly what she's doing and how to handle any situation you might throw at her. I met her husband after our reception too (he was on clean-up duty) and what nice people they are! The Janowski Family (Owner) The Janowski family purchased The Morris Estate in 2010 and carefully restored the property as a stunning event venue with an onsite bed and breakfast. You will always find them around the farm performing daily tasks, event planning or welcoming guests. Their team of wedding coordinators, along with many loved staff members, assist with creating the beautiful and inviting atmosphere at the estate.
