We had our wedding at the Morris Museum last month. Several guests told us after that weddings tend to all blend together, but that our wedding will always stand out because of the unique venue, which is just what we were hoping for. The Morris Museum is absolutely beautiful and transforms into a wedding space perfectly. We loved how creative we could be with photos throughout the museum and property, how many options we had with setting up the ceremony, cocktail hour, and the reception. Nina was helpful at answering all of our questions throughout the preparation process and was so prepared day-off. We had no concerns leading up to the big day. It was also in a perfect location - with plenty of nearby hotels, bars, and restaurants, our overnight / weekend guests had many options, which was very important to us. I would 10/10 recommend having your wedding at Morris Museum - it beats all of the other typical NJ weddings venues! Reviewed on 04-01-2024

Our daughter got married at Morris Museum in charming, vibrant, and historic Morristown. What a joyous, warm-hearted and fun occasion. Venues matter! We thoroughly enjoyed the art vibe, as well as, the mix of traditional Georgian architecture and contemporary aesthetics - which made it so unique!Beyond that, the behind-the-scenes setting up and management of the ceremony and reception are critical. For that, we cannot thank Nina Hoffer enough! Nina brought all her events management experience to bear. Not only was she available and receptive, providing ideas and options prior to the wedding, but she was also very kindly and discreetly present throughout the evening, overseeing things down to the details. The evening unfolded without a glitch. The coordination between the caterer, florist, and set-up crew was flawless. I know our daughter and son-in-law were thrilled with the experience. So were my husband and myself. Such happy memories! Reviewed on 18-01-2024

And we were so excited to have found such a magical backdrop for our special evening. Working with Nina was great. She provided many pictures and ideas to help us understand how we could use the space and just how versatile it could be…one moment colonial and one moment super modern. The space is able to accommodate up to 120 guests easily. Very affordable rental. You are limited to five caterers that they work with. You’re able to set up right before the museum closes and have your event run until 11 pm. Many great hotels in the Morristown area. There are rotating exhibits so you’ll get a unique experience. But what made this an even more perfect venue was working with the staff. Event Director Nina Hoffer was a pleasure to work with - responsive, accommodating and a valuable resource from start to finish and beyond. I have a PR firm and event management is part of the business so I especially appreciated working with someone who was professional, so knowledgeable and simply great to work with. Kylie Cimaglia(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 02-11-2019 When we set out to find our wedding venue, we knew we wanted something unique and something very us. The Morris Museum was that and so much more. Along with the most amazing ceremony and reception space (also one that was great on price!), we got a venue coordinator that was absolutely amazing. Amy was organized and in communication with our amazing caterers to make sure everything ran smoothly on the day. Two days before the wedding we found out that there was an exhibit in the ceremony/reception space we hadn’t expected. I’m usually unphased by silly things like this in wedding planning, but this one upset me. Amy came up with the perfect solution to hide the heart sculpture made out of cans and our wedding day was even more perfect for it! We had our ceremony and reception space lit up by candles and we danced the night away. It was seriously the best day of our lives and we have Amy and her team at the Morris Museum to thank for that! Their event manager, Amy von Sternberg, is the best. She helped make sure our DIY wedding went off without a hitch. Really, this venue was a hit for our guests from early twenties to early nineties. While it requires a bit of coordination, the end result is well worth it. My son and daughter-in-law booked the Museum for an August wedding. We were a little concerned when the Coordinator, Lauren, left for another job opportunity. But her replacement, Amy Vonsternberg, was amazing to work with. She was super organized and very accessible, and even contacted us on the wedding day (it was raining) to tell us she had three golf umbrellas available for us! The Museum is on the smaller side, so guests get the opportunity to check out the displays without missing out on the wedding. Amanda Fois(bride)4 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 10-12-2012 I just had my wedding there on December 10th. It was a perfect spot for my husband and I because we're both artistic people. The selling point for us was the fact that they had a theater. We had a beautiful ceremony in the theater with an awesome tech, Lewis. He's very attentive and loves a challenge. He's very giving of his time and makes you feel important. And Caitlyn, the events coordinator was the same. She was fantastic. She always answered my emails within a speedy time frame. She reached out to me as soon as she could after Sandy. She was spectacular, warm friendly and very efficient. I loved having my wedding there. The only thing is, they are constantly changing the exhibits and my guests didn't get to see a particular room that was in the middle of transition (which was one of my favorite rooms). Besides that, it was the perfect spot for us. The Morris Museum is really great for any event. I love it!!! Reviewed on 30-12-2012
